Yanderes who wake up and see their Darling sleeping in bed next to them, and they get a burst of happiness and excitement knowing that they a) spent the night in bed with them and b) they get to keep them close and see them like this every day now
Even Gremlin-era Tomura has those moments and he finds that he craves this feeling of happiness. It's not as fleeting as the rush from killing someone, and he finds himself curling up next to Darling. But after a while, he feels like he's TOO happy. TOO content. So he has to find a way to corrupt it; he'll kiss and grope them and rub his cock against them to wake them up, and smile when they let out a confused and scared whimper.
Jason Todd craves that feeling too, but there's no desire to corrupt it. He'll take a few pictures of Darling asleep, looking so cute and vulnerable in his bed, and then turn over to stare at them and stroke them a little. It's turned into a little ritual whenever he gets back late at night: take off the cowl, triple check the security around the hideout, eat something, and then fall asleep watching his Darling next to him.

What do you think about Joker and Batman’s story in the Arkham Games?
Oh I think it's great. Arkhamverse Batjokes is one of my favorite iterations of the dynamic. Starting from Arkham Origins and how they have Joker begin to be truly obsessed with Batman only after Batman saves his life multiple times-- even though it didn't make any sense, even though any rational person would've let Joker die. There's just something so compelling about Joker being so self-destructive and careless from the start, latching onto the one person acting against all he believes. Because Joker thinks he deserves to die, and doesn't try to avoid it (more like actively encourages it). But then Batman keeps saving that life of his he doesn't value, again and again... It's pretty similar to what happens in the comics, too: Joker seeing Batman as a distraction or a pest to his main plan, and then Batman doing something so out of the ordinary that Joker becomes obsessed. It's just more condensed, more obvious in the game.

"Now, why? Why? Why would you do that? Newsflash: I'm the one who's trying to kill you!" I adore Troy Baker's performance, and the sheer frustration in Joker's voice. Just love this whole scene so fucking much. Joker putting the gun to his head and Bruce's sheer... trauma and inability to witness death kicking into gear, having him instantly jump to stop Joker despite the fact he killed two people seconds before, but then punching him in the face. Genius.
Though I think the most interesting thing about Arkhamverse Batjokes is that Joker dies. It's one of the few mediums to explore in depth what would happen to Bruce afterwards, how he'd cope with it... with the answer being "badly". Both in-game and in comics or novels set in the universe, it's explicitly stated either by Bruce or by other characters that he's mourning. And he doesn't understand it. Then you've got the fact he's hallucinating Joker, and Joker's taking over his mind. In many ways it's similar to the backstory of the Batman Who Laughs; getting infected by blood/toxin after Joker's death and becoming an amalgamation of himself and Joker. Except, in the Arkham games, Bruce manages to stop the transformation. And no matter how you interpret it: the Joker in Bruce's mind being the real Joker, or Joker being a figment of his imagination fuelled by the tainted blood in his system acting to Jokerize him the way it did the others-- it's still so telling, the way it all unfolds. At the end of Arkham Knight, Bruce still doesn't kill Joker, not even when Joker isn't real. What we get, as a way of symbolizing Joker's defeat and Bruce regaining control over himself, is Joker being shoved into a cell and shouting "I need you". And how many times has Bruce put Joker in a cell before? How many times has Joker broken out of it? That isn't really the ending... there is no ending for the two of them.
God, and I didn't even mention Joker's songs, him performing Only You, the phonecalls to Bruce, the interviews in Arkham... the incredible voice acting from Kevin Conroy (he'll always be remembered, and always be Batman to me) and Mark Hamill... so many great elements. Not gonna keep ranting, but yeah! Arkamverse Batjokes is my second favorite after the comics.

Children? Oh he fights them on a daily basis... He can't say that, can he? Ahh, fuck.
Look, he is one desperate cookie and those who glance upon him, he is latching himself to them faster than you can blink, regardless of who they are. A ten is still a ten even if they have a child from a previous relationship, he is willing to take any baggage, child included... N-No, he didn't mean to call the child a baggage--
Oh kids... Yeah, he doesn't really have a positive thing to say about them, especially when they're certain inconvenience that will render his plans collapsed because of them... But it's your child, they're an exception.
The little thing is tolerable for sure. A bit hyperactive, but what child isn't? A six year old who has a lot of question for the world, confused about socialising but his heart is at the right path.
Guess what their name is... Robin. An energetic gymnast with a penchant to ask plenty of questions, a known witty ass... Um yeah.
NO WORRIES, HE DOESN'T — ahem, he doesn't hate the boy at all! Even if he shares striking similarities with the boy wonder, he's checked just in case... Though sometimes he doubts himself, but then he is reminded that, in fact, Boy wonder Robin is no longer six years old, whereas Robin-Y/N's-son is only six years old.
Anyways, Edward picked up Robin from school for today and they greeted you with a concerning sight; your son holding a bloody handkerchief to their nose and your Edward's shirt bloodied with, presumably and hopefully, your son's blood... That is phrased wrong, but you know what I mean, right?
Edward then explains to you about Robin failing to secure himself in his seat and one abrupt halt after an encounter with a dumbass driver, your son was sent hurling forward and slamming his face against the seat in front of him. Oh Edward, our sweet Edward was a nervous wreck and it went a little something like this:
"Oh my god are you okay, buddy? Oh shi--oot. Oh no, oh no, oh no."
Edward bends back over the backseats, but to no avail, he resorts to leaving the driver's seat and entering the back. He nervously inspect your son, wincing when his fingers touched and stained with blood, but he pushes through his squeamishness and pinches Robin's nose, all the while, his free hand hunts for his spare handkerchief.
"Am okaaay," Beams your son with a nasally voice, his big eyes identical to yours looking up at Edward. "That's a lot of blood."
"Oh no, Y/N's going to kill me!" He squeaks, finally able to get a hold of a handkerchief before using it to pinch your boy's nose.
"Yeah, blood is hard to get off a white shirt... And it's brand new." Oh bless his heart.
"Whatever you do, don't tilt your head up," Edward says, absentmindedly wiping his bloody fingers on his shirt before reaching for the bottle of sanitiser in the glove box. Luckily, he spots a bag of wet wipes and opts to use it instead. "Give me your hand."
Robin puts a hand out and Edward got to work with ridding the red from Robin's fingers and palm. Robin switches to his other hand and Edward does the same. During the act, even in concentration and panic, Robin's nasally voice does not slip his ears.
"Thanks dad."

💚 Arkhamverse
Children are not his thing, he'd like to stay away from those fussy miniature humans with underdeveloped minds as much as possible... But he is making an exception with this one that happened to be his favourite person's daughter.
At first he was a touch tense around your daughter, opting to lean away and at times, dismiss them as much as he can, until you scolded him to include her as a package that comes in the relationship and if he doesn't want that, then he should drop the relationship all together. Apparently he loves you enough thay he began to be less dismissive of the child.
... he supposes your daughter, Helen, isn't that bad. She's tolerable unlike other children. Curious little thing, fidgety, and a bit timid. At first she too was afraid of Edward, sensing that she isn't wanted to be dealt with, until he himself began warming up to her that the nine year old began to open up as well.
Peaking from the threshold of the kitchen, you spot Edward who had just crawled out his development facilities and freshly bathed, sitting across the counter from Helen as she moves between to the surface of the counter and the stove where a pot is boiling. Tipping your head upwards, to see a chess board on the countertop.
You remembered how Helen brought up yesterday she needed to enhance her puzzling skills to compete against other schools. She had only recently developed an interest to puzzles thanks to Edward and specifically towards chess.
"Are you sure that's your final move?" Edward asks after Helen has placed a piece down on the board.
Helen, upon being greeted by this question many times, began to analyzing and questioning her move. Noticing what he is implying, she takes her move back and places her piece elsewhere.
"Good. Remember, during a real chess match, you can't just hope your opponent does not capture your piece."
"Okay... Thanks dad."
Edward's game plan to destroy the child with a checkmate once again has been thwarted with a single word. Dad... DAD---
Short circuiting. Give him a moment to process. He got knocked off-guard so hard he lost to Helen. Well, she can't just call her opponent's 'dad' to catch them as off guard as Edward now can she?
💚 Batman the animated series
He is selective when it comes to children. On the other hand, he had made a demographic out of younger groups of people and kept them in mind when it comes to developing video games and on the other, he can find a few of them as obnoxious and he actively turn away from them just so he could act out the urge to smack a child.
But your daughter Meri was nothing but am absolute dear, Edward couldn't help but to simply adore the precious little babe! A polite young lady who is a touch playful and is an absolute delight to talk to! Edward couldn't help but to want to spoil the girl! ... If you'd allow him. Can he? Okay, not too much, just this Gameboy.
Meri doesn't play videogames all that much but when Edward introduced her to a Gameboy, oh boy, he might just make a gamer girl out of he. I mean, since the man has also the intricate knowledge about programming, he might get her interested in it as well! The process of which Edward was teaching her now to be accustomed with playing with one is something they bond over, at times where Meri couldn't bear a certain level she would tug in Edward's sleeve and ask him to help her out.
How could he say no to the face that resembled you??? Tasks and agenda are now thrown away, we must beat this level of Super Mario Bros. It will cost him his career as a Internationally renowned threat as a rogue, but he says it's worth it. Why, you may ask?
"YAY! Thanks dad, you're the greatest!"
Among the influx of emotions, the only implication of the absolute joy he feels inside leaks through his soft smile and he pulls your daughter against his chest and pats her head.

I feel absolutely shitty. Can I please ask for Arkamverse and BTAS Riddler finding S/O doing work on the desc just to see her silently crying. She was part of huge fight and now she just wants to go home.

Warnings & Notes: Short, not proofread
You never liked fights. The yelling, tension… You hated it. Usually if you were lucky, the fight was quickly done – but sometimes, you weren’t so lucky. Those times were hell. Thinking back on it, you felt tears well up in your eyes, and started quietly sobbing as you tried to continue work, writing down notes. A tear fell down onto the page, smudging the ink. Frustrated, you tore the entire page off and started all over again.
ARKHAMVERSE
You didn’t hear the footsteps approaching over your sniffling and scribbling, only noticing Edward’s arrival when he stepped inside the room you were in. Quickly wiping away your tears and putting on your most convincing smile, you greeted him, “Oh, hi Eddie.”
Now, Edward wasn’t the most empathetic or sympathetic person, and you knew that. He looked at you, walking closer.
“[Firstname], What is it?” He asked, sitting across from you. He wasn’t heartless, but this was still a surprise to you. You took a few seconds to think, and answered.
“There was this fight and I… It was awful.” You muttered, Looking down at the table. “I don’t really want to bother you with it, I’ll just finish work and-”
“No, No. Tell me. I want to know what idiot did this.”
Caught offguard by his demand, you looked up at him with wide eyes. You did tell him, to which he leaned back in his chair, sighing. "What an idiot. I'll make sure they have some basic sense in their head after this."
"Eddie?"
"Yes?"
"I thought violence was below you."
"I didn't say i was going to assault them, now did i? A quiet moment in a trap should do the job."
BTAS
“Dear? What’s wrong?” Eddie asked and you slightly jumped, not noticing him enter the room. He placed a hand on your cheek, concerned. You looked up at him, and was met with his maskless, worried gaze. You wiped away your tears, giving him a small smile.
“A fight.” You mumbled, looking away from his eyes. “It was bad. I just want to go home. Please, Edward?” You pleaded, watching as he put his cane to lean against the table.
“How could I ever say no to you?” He said, taking your hand in his. “I’ll get your jacket and bag. We’ll go home. We’ll watch that game show we like, if you’d like that?” He suggested, rubbing circles with his tumb on your hand. You nodded, and so he gave you a quick “I’ll be back soon.” and went to retrieve your stuff. As he left, you smiled to yourself – he was truly a gift. "Let's go, dear. Work can wait."

Arkham Origins!Firefly relationship hcs:
once he got his burns, people started turning away from him. it felt like the fire baptized him in a way, and he lost any and all interest in any and all relationships. all he needed for company was a match and he's happy. until he met you
it was like a huge whiplash, suddenly going back to craving human contact but he couldn't help himself when it came to you. you always listened to him, you never laughed, never looked away in disgust, never called him crazy or delusional - it was impossible not to fall for you
he often comes over, even without informing you. whenever he just feels like he wants to see you, he simply goes to your apartment. more than once he broke in through the window. it takes a lot of getting used to
he liked the domesticity and familiarity he had with you. the way that you two could just watch tv on your couch like a normal couple, just do normal things. he never was one for "normal" but since he's gotten to know you, he wants to share his every single experience with you
loves that you go out of the way to cook extra spicy things for him. he can't feel much taste, he needs a lot of spice to even have some sort of idea as to how the food tastes. with you, he's started eating more, getting healthier - before, he found it pointless to eat a tasteless mush
sometimes sets small shit at your house on fire for shits and giggles. you had to disable your fire alarm at some point (which is very fucking dangerous in case of a real fire) because he was just lighting shit up
he's surprisingly dorky at times, making stupid puns and jokes. he absolutely hates any and all jokes about his name, tho and would rather starve to death than eat lasagna
he likes to light matches and watch the flame slowly consume them. it's really hypnotizing for him and whenever he does that, he won't really pay any attention to anything else. he will hold the match until it burns all the way down to his fingers just to feel something, only for you to quickly take it out of his hands because he has enough scars as it is and he realizes that... you make him feel something, too

Hi there! I love your account and everything you post, Scarecrow is one of my fave villains! But I would love to know more about you! You seem absolutely delightful :) What go you into comics? Do you have a fave one? Do you like any other Batman villains?
Aww you’re sweet. I like to think the videogame Batman: Arkham Asylum was my humble beginning into comics. That was my first experience with Scarecrow, and where I instantly fell in love with him. I loved that game so much I’ve played through it multiple times and even on the hardest difficulty!
My favorite comic, which is no surprise to those who know me, is Scarecrow: Year One. I adore the art, the colors and the story really resonates with me.
I also like Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, and Mad Hatter to name a few!I enjoy most of the rogues actually, partly in thanks to Arkamverse. I feel those three games did an astounding job at writing the rogues.

Thoughts on Batman Arkham Origins
Main Story
Opening is nice
Black Mask before Jason? That's interesting
Killer Croc helping Black Mask was a surprise
I don't think Roman threatening Waylon is good idea
It feels like Roman's normal voice is higher and he tries to make it deeper when intimidating people
Well at least Batman didn't let Croc die
I'm going to add some new characters
Also Bane wasn't originally in Gotham?
Of course, it was Nigma behind the towers, it's funny that Batman guessed his name
Can Batman stop choking people?
Gotta admit Electrocutioner has a style.

Any rogues
Reaction to meeting a variant of magician teen except it's the same exact variant they met before and now variant is a adult who's been through shit
They're now equal to magician teen's magic level and is insanely strong physically for a mortal
They sometimes look at rogue sadly before continuing their conversation with magician teen, magician is quick to realize what's wrong and is there for variant the whole time
Would the rogues notice their trademark object on the variants outfit?
Magician is in awe when they see variant cause they now have a cyborg leg and very advanced tech on them :0
They're weirdly protective of rogue but magician understands why (rogue died in their universe sooo yeah.)

She notices the stares and wonders what happened
Magician has a shirt with her symbols so she thought other her gave it to them but now she isn't so sure
Would try to be calmer around them, touch them more
Praises their magic
Doesn't want to let them go

HC Time! I have alot, so buckle up!
Arkham Asylum DOES allow a limited range of enrichment in their facilities, like books, nail polish, & other low risk items.
While Batman is universally hated by his rogues gallery, many of them DO have a level of respect for him just because he's an 'Equal Opportunity Crime Fighter', although they also think he's a hypocrite for the whole 'I don't kill, but I'll beat you so bad you wish I did' thing.
Jon let's Harley do his nails when they both find themselves in Arkham.
Some of the Rogues stopped interacting with Joker when Harley broke things off with him. For Rogues like Ivy, Catwoman, the Dork Squad + Honorary Dork- It's out a mutual respect for Harley & hate of Joker.
You Physically Cannot Room Music Meister With Anyone Besides Mad Hatter- While MM & MH get along with the other rogues well enough, the only people willing to put up with either of them on a daily basis for months at a time is eachother. This is actually how MM & MH became friends & why some of the other rogues MH associates with put up/become friends with MM.
Music Meister & Harley as actually really good friends, but due to the Arkham separating the inmates by sex, they can be roomed together.
Similar can be said for Riddler & Scarecrow, even then the two of them will bicker like an old married couple, it's safest to room them either alone or with eachother.
Almost everyone in the Dork Squad smokes; Riddler likes his vapes & occasional cigar or cigarette- Especially when offered one by Penguin. Scarecrow is the worst- The man will always, without fail, keep a pack of cigarettes & a lighter on him, Man smells like a chemical plant fire. Mad Hatter isn't much of a smoker, but he likes the occasional bit of hookah now & again. The real exception is the Honorary Dork, Music Meister- He wants to keep his voice in peak performance for as long as possible, but has genuinely considered trying it at least once.
Since Harley is good friends with both Scarecrow & Ivy, she's gotten them both to agree not to experiment on eachother without the others explicit consent.
Oh wow, you sure are full of ideas! Let's do it in points.
Yeah logical, normal Asylum allows this type if stuff I think
I honesty prefer versions of Batman when he beats them just enough to be put in Asylum without problem; but if we're looking at Arkamverse I 100% agree

No one can listen to Riddlers rambling while Scarecrow just makes people uncomfortable
Riddler with vape makes me chuckle, it probably smells like mint; Scarecrow absolute does it; I can see Jervis doing pot but no real cigarettes, I don't know drugs fit him more; and yeah no way MM would even get close to them
Yep, when their experiments mixed the whole flat of Asylum had to get evacuated

I like to headcannon that Killer Croc and Scarecrow with tell each other jokes than only Southeerns reallly understand just to piss someone off (aka Joker), just laughing and being happy and someone can be other and asks what so funny and both of them say you wouldn't understand. Which would really piss off the Joker for him being this master Jokerster but not being alble to understand Southern refnences
Okay, this is a great headcanon. I’m all for southern Scarecrow bonding with Killer Croc. We need to see that more in the comics. I still recall that one issue were Scarecrow falls sleep on Waylon, and the scene is just adorable.
I do really like the idea of them bonding though. Jonathan needs friends and people he can trust, and I bet Waylon would be a good fit for him. Arkamverse aside, they have a lot in common and their southern origins deserve to be explored more.
