Osamu realizes he’s in love with you when you back his car into… something.

Years later, he can’t even begin to remember what you hit- the trash? Mailbox? Maybe the curb? Honestly it could’ve been a kid, he genuinely doesn’t know. Whatever it was, it caused a deep gash into the rear passenger side and popped the tire, the crunch of metal standing no chance against whatever was in your way.

And he could never be too mad at you. Never. This was no exception, it was just a car and a simple thing that he could fix himself, or pay someone to, but before he can convince you of this, his jaw slacks and his face pales slightly when you let out a bark, an absolute shock of a word so freely past your pretty lips:

“GOD-FUCKING-DAMNIT!”

It slipped out with zero hesitation, at the time, no shame either, and you just looked so mad about something he honestly couldn’t care less about, so long as you were okay. But clearly, you cared, and the moment you realized what your said?

God you looked so cute.

Your face got a sheen of sweat, your hand immediately coming up to cover your mouth, and with the most wide eyes, you whipped your head over to look at him. Your eyes lock with his, and he just. He starts cackling. He’s laughing at your poor, precious expense, and you’re whining in his now damaged car for him to stop, head thunking against the steering wheel in embarrassment.

And he realizes, once you finally are able to park the car and get out to swat at his chest, that he wants to be there for everything.

Every ‘god damn it,’ every scratch on the car that you may or may not cause every time you say something in front of him that you shouldn’t, he wants to be a part of the memory you now harbor. Every time you burn dinner, or you two get lost driving and at least are holding hands, everything.

You’re everything to him. And he realizes it for the first time when you back his brand new car into…. Whatever you backed into.

your hand in his, underneath dim lit lights, as the moon puts the sky aglow, a slow dance ensues between him and you.

nanami kento doesn’t know how he has gotten himself tangled with you, swaying to soft music that plays through the speakers, echoing through the cosy apartment. but he has no obligations with this; he likes to have you in his arms.

one moment he was working in his home office and the next second he finds himself gazing at your figure that slow dances on in the living room. kento feels his breath hitch, his heart begins to race, even though you and him have been in love the longest, you don’t let him live a day down with your breathtaking beauty.

and soon he has you in his arms, dancing away underneath the dim lit lights of the living room that make up the atmosphere. his eyes are trained upon your face but you are lost watching your feet so you don’t step on his. kento has no pride or ego and so he admits that he likes the way you feel like home much more than the four walls of this apartment could ever be.

you have a soft smile on your face, eyes crinkle as you look down at the way your and his feet are moving and kento has his eyes on you and only you — nothing matters except you in this world to him. his eyes hold warmth, they are filled with adoration, a lovestruck grin on his face forms when he hears you giggle slightly when you step on his feet, whispering a soft sorry, but he doesn’t mind, for all his focus is on you.

“look at me, my love.” he whispers to you, his voice low, and soon your eyes clash with his, the lovestruck gaze of his melts you to the core, you feel butterflies erupt in the depths of your stomach, he has a serene smile on his face, and heat crawls up your face, but your gaze doesn’t waver and it only does so much to keep nanami in control.

your arms that were once holding onto his shoulders begin to wrap around his neck, his very own hands that were on your waist crawl down to your hips, making you sway so slow to the music, you lightly chuckle when you feel his grip tighten upon your hips, and the dopey grin on his face is a giveaway.

dancing was never nanami’s forte, but since the day you had entered his life, it was some what a new prospect brought in his very living. he had never imagined himself dancing in his living room to slow music, with a woman nonetheless; for he had never fathomed the thought of having a partner either.

but now all stands wronged as he holds you close, swaying ever so slightly to the music the plays.

“never thought you’d be a dancer, mr. nanami.” you mutter, soft laughter spewing past your lips, as he shakes his head at your words, but you squeal when he pinches your waist stumbling in his arms, “well, it’s you who makes me dance to your music, mrs. nanami.”

you chortle upon hearing those words, head falling back as you burst into laughter, he watches with observing eyes as he chuckles ever so lightly. the silver bands on your finger glistens as you lock you hands around his neck, his very own shines as the light falls upon it, these bands are a reminder that he is to dance to your music for forevermore.

you hum to his words, as your head finds home in the crook of his neck, hands finding sanctuary as they slide to hung him around the waist, his head resting upon your head while his hand lock around your hips, still swaying so slowly to the music, his heartbeat rings through your ears as you relish in the sound that is created.

his ears perk up when he hears you hum the song that begins to play, and he is brought back to the day of the wedding, he held you just the same, dancing ever so slow to the music that played, his hand tightening around you and his lips are pressed against the crown of your head, making you smile.

“you make a fine dancer, kento.” you whisper looking up at him, eyes taking in his features as you see him lean close to your face, he doesn’t mutter anything only his eyes moving back and forth between your eyes and your lips, and you take the signal of what it means, giggling at his childish gestures.

and your lips soon meet his as you stand on your tippy toes, you smile into the kiss when you hear him sigh, hand tightening around you, eyes closed as kento relishes in the warmth your provide, the taste of your cherry chapstick begins to settle on his tongue, he pulls you as close as he could, a few fingers sliding up your shirt, and it makes you squeal.

he laughs when you pull away, smacking at his chest but he pulls you back in, lips colliding with yours and he takes in the taste of your cherry chapstick again, smiling when he feels you tremble and relax within his hold, melting right into his arms, holding onto him for support and it only makes him wonder further about why you loved him so.

but until then he wishes to come home to you, dancing to music ever so slow, reeling him in with your antiques as you call him to slow dance with you, underneath the dim lit lights, while the moon puts the skies aglow.

until then nanami kento will slow dance with you, forevermore.
