It's been a few weeks, but I managed a few words tonight. It's not a lot, and I'm not sure how I feel about them (it's still a lot of boring set-up) but it's words, so I'm happy about that. Less happy now that I've reached a point of realization that I'm going to need to do some actual research and planning, which are things I tend to avoid at all costs, so we'll see how this goes. I can't even plan my own trips, now I'm supposed to plan David's North American road trip adventure? Anyway, here's a bit of the luxury road trip wip-

He showers quickly, following up with an abbreviated skincare routine and barely putting any effort into his hair. It’s not up to his typical standards, but it will do. It’s not like he’s planning to see anyone he knows on the road, and it’s unlikely he’ll run into anyone between here and the dealership when he’ll be in an uber with a stranger the whole time. He makes himself a single cup of coffee, drinking it black and burning his throat on the way down. He’ll stop for a proper coffee once he’s on the road, this is just preliminary caffeine, enough to get him started on this adventure. Enough to avoid a headache while getting the hell out of this place as quickly as possible. Since he already has the keys and the paperwork is done, picking up the RV is quick and painless. Driving the thing is another story.
