Calling All Artists for the Marvel Age Play Big Bang: Sign-ups Extended to July 25th

We have an amazing group of 15 writers in this challenge, who are all hard at work writing some creative, unique and amazing fics!

However, we have a problem. We currently have only two artists signed up for the entire challenge and we are hoping to spread the love to all the authors and gain more interest. Our authors are working hard and we want to share some awesome artwork with them.

So please share this with your fandom friends and chosen family, as well as giving it a reblog if you feel comfy and hyping it up in fandom space!

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have and I can’t wait to see what you create!

Updated Schedule

Sign-Ups Open- April 10th

Author Sign-Ups Close- May 10th

Author Check in 1- June 1st

By this check in, you will need a 1k draft for a mini bang or a 4k draft for a big bang. (outlines are ok at this point)

Artist Sign-Ups Close- July 25th

Author Check in 2- July 25th

At this point you will be submitting a form with your fic’s info (warnings, summary, pairings, etc) that let artists know about your fic during the claims process.

Claims- August 1st

Post Claim Team Check in 1- August 8th

The first check in is to ensure that you and your partner have contacted each other and started the collaboration process.

At this point authors will submit a draft at least 60% completed.

Artists will not be required to submit any drafts.

Team Check in 2- September 1st

At this point authors will need to submit a draft that is at least 80% complete.

Artists will need to submit a draft that is 50% complete, for a mini bang this can be a half of one piece, for a big bang this can be one completed piece or two half completed pieces. (please use your best judgment for what 50% of a finished piece looks like for you)

Posting Claims: September 2nd

Teams will fill out a form with their posting preferences.

An Update

Hey, y’all. I just wanted to keep everyone updated and in the loop on whats happening with this Big Bang. Due to an underwhelming amount of artist sign-ups, I have decides to reopen applications until July 25th. This is going to allow time for me to contact more blogs and artists to see if we can garner any more interest for the event!

In the case that there are no more artist sign-ups I will happily create doodles for every fic, but it may take a little longer than planned.

Your fic must to be unique to this bang and not already posted.

To keep with the integrity of the challenge, please do not share summaries, snippets or blurbs before the claims process.

There are two ways to participate in this challenge, the mini bang and the big bang.

Mini Bang: 5K-15K Words, Minimum of One Art Pieces

Big Bang: 15k+ Words, Minimum of Two Art Pieces

In order to keep everyone safe and comfortable, you must tag all content warnings, triggers and sexual content in your fic.

Only 18+ writers may write NSFW/sexual fics

You must respond to check ins and collaborate with your partner

Artists

Your art must be unique to this bang and not already posted.

FAQ

What do you consider age play?

For this challenge age play is used a broad term to describe fanwork centering all aspects of non-sexual and sexual age roleplaying, age regression, ddlg/ddlb/mdlb/mdlg, and various other dynamics. If you have any further questions, feel free to send me and ask and I will be happy to answer!

Is this a non-sexual or a sexual challenge?

Simply put, it is both! All sexual and non sexual work will be included. However you must be 18+ to submit NSWF content. No one will be pushed past their limit or asked to create work they are not comfortable with!

What characters/ships/universes can I write about?

Anything and everything marvel!! Comic books, MCU, X-men, M/M, F/M, Avengers, Poly, etc.

What happens if I miss a check-in?

Life is super busy, so don’t stress it. Reach out to me at [email protected] or send me a message, we can work it out!

Can I be an artist and an author ?

Yes!! But for the integrity of the challenge, I ask that you please do not claim your own art work!

Note

I'm considering signing up, but I was wondering...even though I'd be writing non-sexual fic, is it still possible to request an 18+ artist?

18+ artists are totally allowed to create work for fics that minors are writing. However the art must be completely SFW and non-sexual (which wouldn’t be a problem since your fic wouldn’t be sexual) !

I'm thinking about signing up, and was wondering (sorry if this is explained soemwhere, tumblr is being weird for me now) but if I wanted too, I wouldn't have to write about actual age play, and instead I could just writing a really kinky fic involving daddy kink and that would be okay?

Hey, thanks for the question! I am using age play as a catch all term to describe all forms of sexual and non sexual age play, age regression, ddlb/ddlg/mdlb/mdlg/cgl, kink and similar dynamics. In your case you would definitely be able to write a fic like that. As long as you specified it as a sexual fic in the sign up, you are golden !! Can’t wait to see what you create :D
