Dewy grass & cigarettes.
———♡———
Pairing: Rintaro Suna x Reader
Genre: Hurt/Comfort. Past arguments & resolving them. Long term friendship, playful banter.
Synopsis: Suna finds you partying right after the two of you just had a friendship ending argument.
———♡———
The music booms through the house, vibrating against the wall behind you. You close your eyes and focus on each beat. It’s almost like it lines up with your heartbeat, and you feel it through your body. You grin to yourself, leaning back into the wall and sighing.
“You good?” Suna’s voice startles you and you glare at him with a bloodshot gaze.
“Clearly not.” Suna scoffs, crouching lower and looking into your eyes. “You’re fucked up on something. What’d you take?”
“None of your business.” You mumble, shooing him away. It really wasn’t any of his business. You’d pretty much parted ways in every fashion a few days prior. He had no right to express any concern over your actions anymore.
“Why? Because I told you the truth?” He rolls his eyes and you can practically feel the cruel condescension in his tone. “Get over it.”
“Why are you coming up to me just to be rude?” You look away, but his hand gently takes your chin, turning you back to face him.
“If honesty is rude, so be it.” Suna’s stern expression remains as he continues. “Why are you even here? This party is moronic and packed full of complete idiots.”
“So you think I’m a moronic idiot?” You ask and cross your arms.
“Well, yeah. Everyone here is.”
Your blood starts to boil and all maturity flies out the window. “Yet here you are. So you’re an idiot too.”
“Mm, fair point. Though, if I hadn't come, you'd probably be partying your life away and not even have thought about me or how to fix our broken friendship.” Suna responds with an irritating amount of maturity in his tone.
“And how can I do that, hm? You pretty much told me to get lost, so why would I be moping around alone when I can find new friends?” You start to yell - and whether it’s the drugs, your feelings, or the smoke in the air, your eyes are starting to water.
“Let me remind you, then. I asked you not to tell me all of your problems because I'm not capable of handling your emotional burden. I'm not your therapist, and I couldn’t be if I tried. I'm your friend. Yet you still try to tell me everything.” Suna sighs, looking away for a moment. “I know, you have no one else. And neither do I, so I put up with it. But you're getting mad at me for caring too much for you, and then get mad when I don't care enough. Make up your damn mind.”
Says the guy who was constantly begging for you to tell him what’s wrong, even though you insisted that you were okay.
“Fuck off, Rin.” You mutter.
“That’s it?” Suna laughs, “I say one thing that upsets you and I just get ‘fuck off, Rintaro’ in response? Typical you.”
You start to turn around and walk away.
“You're acting like a petulant child. You've been doing shit like this to me so much that I'm not even surprised anymore.” Suna continues with his brutal honesty, yet follows you as you walk outside.
A few minutes after you’ve cooled off, you lay back in the dewy midnight grass. The sounds of the house party fade in the back of your mind as you try to find the headspace you were in before such a rude interruption.
“Hey.” The grass squishes down next to you as you feel a familiar presence sit his rude ass down. “Look. I'm sorry. I went a bit too far. I get frustrated, though, when you just blow up at me when I try to help you with your problems. I still want to care for you and make sure you're doing fine. Is that wrong?”
“You are so fucking confusing. You want me to tell you my problems, then when I do, you get all weird and say that you’re not my therapist and don’t want to absorb my emotional trauma or whatever.” You groan, “Which is it?!”
“I don’t know. I said I’m sorry, okay? We’re both a bit fucked up, I guess. I want to help you. And then when you tell me what’s up, it reminds me of some of my own shit and then I realize I can’t really handle it all at once.” Suna runs his hand through his hair, “Does that make sense?”
“No. But you are right. We are both fucked up.” You sigh, “Me, especially. I don’t know what I even took tonight but I’m high as shit.”
Suna snorts with laughter. “Wanna go back inside?”
“Hell no.” You grin, “I kinda wanna just stay in this grass. I could fall asleep here.”
“We’re leaving, then. I’ll take you home. There’s no way in hell I’m gonna let you melt away into this nasty grass. It might feel good, but you don’t see what I’m seeing. It’s a graveyard of beer cans and cigarette butts surrounding you.” He smirks, “Probably a bunch of spiders, too.”
You jolt up at the mention of spiders and Suna helps you stand, smiling as he looks down at you.
“Why are you taking me home?” You ask as the two of you make his way to his car.
“It’s what friends do.” He raises an eyebrow, “They make sure they get home safely.”
“Oh, so we’re friends again?” You huff.
“No, I absolutely hate you.” Suna chuckles softly. “Of course we're friends, dummy. You really are fucked out of your mind if you thought otherwise.”
You get into his car and buckle up. “I’m pretty sure I thought that because I declared our friendship over after our argument. And then you called me an idiotic moron.”
“Yeah, you are an idiotic moron. You're my little idiot, though, so I'll still take care of you.” Suna smirks at you and turns his head to the road as he shifts his car into drive. “Your declaration means nothing. Our friendship will be over when I decide that, and that will never happen. So get used to me. I’m not going anywhere.”

Then & Now. ♡
——— ♡ ———
Pairing: Osamu Miya x Reader
Genre: Fluff! Angst if you squint? Maybe? High school sweethearts who reunite as adults. ♡
——— ♡ ———
Growing up, the idea of a first love was embedded into your mind with theatric-like imagery. A dramatic, beautiful first kiss. Loud, screaming arguments over unwarranted jealousy. Passionate, intense declarations of love for the entire world to hear. A love that felt so real it physically hurt. A love that, when it came to it’s inevitable demise, would stick to you for the rest of your life, leaving you wondering “what if…?”.
That’s what you thought, anyway, until you’d experienced it first-hand.
Your relationship with Osamu was nothing like that. In fact, it was almost too easy. A fast forming friendship in your first year blossoming into a romantic relationship as high school seniors. You two just… clicked.
When the two of you made things official, it wasn’t the grand proposal you’d hoped for. Instead, it was Osamu waking up next to you with a sleepy smile and incoming hangover asking you the classic “what are we?”. You simply smiled back, knowing damn well the night before that the liquid courage had run through both of you to the point of confessing your true feelings and realizing they were mutual.
Osamu was comfortable. He was carefree, but not recklessly. He paid attention in school and had priorities, but didn’t let small things bother him. “Don’t worry about it” he’d say, pulling you against him with an arm around your waist. “I’ll take care of it.” “It’s no big deal.” “It’s fine.” “Just leave it to me.”
Dependable, reliable Osamu who always seemed to fix any major or minor inconvenience in your life with a simple solution and saving you from yourself for the zillionth time.
Despite the positives of your relationship, even you couldn’t dodge the cliché “we’re going to different colleges, so let’s break up” trope. You talked it over, mutually deciding it’d be too stressful to continue your relationship when you were going to school 6 hours away. You spent your last few days together as if everything was normal, and then you just… left.
“Too bad.” His gaze dropped to the floor, a bittersweet smile crossing his lips. “We coulda had a real nice life together.”
You nodded and laced your fingers in his.
“It was nice while it lasted, though.” Osamu sighed, looking down at you. Your eyes met his, only for a moment, before you fully embraced him and soaked in every ounce of him. Muffled, barely audible words came from your lips as you pushed your face into his chest.
“It was nice while it lasted.”
But it didn’t hurt like you’d expected it to. You didn’t want it to. Your relationship with Osamu was wonderful. He was perfect for you, and the two of you shared so many incredible memories. You smiled when you thought back to one of your silly inside jokes. Felt warm when you saw anything that reminded you of him.
While you started casually dating other people in your second year of college, Osamu didn’t do the same. He was busy opening a restaurant and supporting his brother, information that you’d collected from his few and far between Facebook updates. Other than that, you hadn’t really spoken since the day you’d left.
The years flew by, and just like you’d promised your family, you moved back home the day after your college graduation.
Various relatives cooed over you, commenting on how different you looked, how proud they were of you, hurling questions at you the moment you stepped inside that you instantly regretted returning after such an eventful week.
“Where are you going? You just got home!” You mom called as she watched you lace up your shoes from the other room.
“Out. I’ll be back soon.”
That stressful evening is how you’d ended up at a dodgy, dimly lit bar two streets down that had always piqued your interest as a teenager. You and Osamu had promised to go there together when you were younger, both of you making up silly theories about what lied beyond the doors.
You chuckled into your drink as you remembered the conversations and compared them to reality.
“I wonder if it’s some kinky strip club.” Osamu smirked, “Ya know, like with ropes and handcuffs and stuff?”
“Do those exist? Strip clubs just for stuff like that?” You squeezed his hand and jumped up on to the sidewalk.
“I dunno. Anything’s possible. Better than your theory.” He teased. “An illegal animal sanctuary? Where’d ya even come up with that one?”
“Hear me out! I bet there’s some old man who has like, 17 tigers, an alligator, and a polar bear. Nowhere to keep them.” You stopped at the crosswalk, grabbing his cheeks so he looked straight at you. His eyes were wide with amusement and a massive grin was plastered across his face. “Picture it, ‘Samu. Really think. Can you see it? He probably lives there and just takes care of his exotic animals in secret.”
“Right.” He snorted, “And how do you explain the customers?”
You raised an eyebrow. “Have you ever actually seen anyone enter or leave that building?”
“Well, I-“ He stopped, pausing to think for a moment. “Ya know what? No. I haven’t.”
You tugged him into the crosswalk when the light changed and marched away proudly. “Exactly. Point proven. It’s a front.”
The two of you spent the rest of your walk home from school that day laughing and debating what kinds of animals the theoretical old man was hiding in the fake bar.
Osamu’s laugh was something you’d heard many times, but never gotten tired of. His laugh was infectious; deep and loud and right from his chest. A laugh that would cause anyone to smile just from being around it.
A laugh that you recognized the moment you heard it.
You spun around on the bar stool, drink still in hand, in complete disbelief as the man who you were just thinking about was practically summoned in front of you. What a coincidence - you made a mental note to call your old roommate and tell her that her manifestation theories might not be bogus after all.
“Ain’t that somethin’,” Osamu whistled, taking off his hat to reveal his natural hair colour and giving you a playful nudge. “Didn’t know I’d run into ya here.”
“You didn’t?” You smiled.
“Had no clue.”
You pulled out your phone, showing him your most recent social media post. It was a photo of your drink, the location tagged with a passive caption about returning home.
“You didn’t see this?” You snorted when he shook his head no.
“Osamu Miya liked your post. Explain that.” You pointed directly at your most recent notification, showing that Osamu had definitely seen it 20 minutes prior.
“Hackers. Gotta be.” You felt a wave of nostalgia wash over you as you indulged in his sarcastic banter. “‘Cuz it’s clearly a coincidence that I just happened to show up to the same shitty bar on a certain Tuesday night.”
“You’re such a fuck.” You laughed, “Be serious.”
“Obviously I knew.” He rolled his eyes playfully and waved down a waitress. “Just wasn’t sure if you were gonna talk to me.”
“Why wouldn’t I talk to you?” You took a sip of your drink and watched him as he ordered his own. The way he carried himself was different. Subtle, but different. Confident and unapologetically himself.
He shrugged. “Just didn’t think you wanted to. I never heard from ya after you left.”
You blinked at him. “I kinda thought that’s what you wanted. That’s why I never reached out.”
“Why would I want that?” He thanked the waitress and took a sip of his drink the moment she handed it to him.
“I dunno. I just assumed since you didn’t say anything to me after I left.”
“So you’re tellin’ me we didn’t talk because we both thought the other didn’t want to?” Osamu’s question wasn’t really even directed to you, if anything, he was talking out loud to himself.
You were the first to crack up. “I guess so.”
“Hah.” He chuckled, “How stupid is that?”
“…Pretty stupid.”
He shook his head, smiling and silently cursing himself for allowing a little breakup and a few hours distance ruin the best relationship with someone he’d ever had, dating or not.
“Well, whatever. We’re here now. Wanna hang out?”
You almost choked on your drink. You weren’t expecting to see Osamu at all, let alone expecting to be hanging out with him on your first day back after four years of radio silence.
But you didn’t even think twice.
“Of course I do.”
The two of you picked up where you left off and it was as if you’d never even gone away. The connection was instant.
“You dyed your hair brown.” You smiled, reaching up and ruffling it in between your fingers. “It looks good.”
“I’d be worried if it didn’t.” He smiled wide but got lost in your gaze for a few seconds, studying your expression carefully. He took a careful look at you while sipping his drink. “You look good. Every bit of ya.”
“Thanks, ‘Samu.” You felt your cheeks get warm and turned away. A feeling you hadn’t experienced since high school.
“Wanna go for a walk?”
Before you could answer, Osamu set some cash on the bar and grabbed your hand. Again, it was familiar, but felt different. Stronger. Bigger. His hand completely engulfed yours and you wondered if he knew how tight he was holding you.
The two of you walked down the road for a few minutes, silently, soaking in the past two hours spent catching up with each other.
He stopped in front of a building a few blocks down, nodding up at it so you’d take a look. You knew instantly where you were.
“I still can’t believe you actually did it.” You looked back and forth from his proud stance to the large sign above the door reading “Onigiri Miya”.
“Let me show ya inside.”
He took you around the back, unlocking the door and flicking on the lights as he came in. The light was warm and the restaurant was inviting. Warm, inviting, comfortable… everything Osamu had always been.
“It’s so cozy in here.” You ran your hand across the clean countertop. As you paced through the kitchen, you walked around the barrier separating the staff area from the main dining room. “Reminds me of your Mom’s house in here.”
“In a good way, right?” He followed closely behind, not wanting to interrupt your first impression too much.
“Of course.” You turned around, beaming a smile at him. “I always loved coming over. You know that.”
He nodded. “Guess I’ll have to have ya over again sometime. I’m sure Ma would love to see you.”
“I’d love to see her, too.” You picked up and put down all of the little trinkets and decorations Osamu had laid out in his restaurant. A small MSBY mascot bobble head, various culinary contest awards, cute little stickers with the restaurant logo, and a stuffed alligator eating a mini onigiri.
“Hm.” You hummed, picking up the alligator. “Now all you’re missing is 17 tigers and a polar bear.”
Osamu blinked at you.
“Sorry.” You laughed awkwardly, “You must not remember. It’s nothing-“
“That’s the exact reason I have that.” He smiled, walking over and taking the alligator from you. “I had it handmade. Even named it after ya.”
“Shut up.”
“M’serious.” Osamu’s confident demeanour almost disappeared as he appeared bashful for just a moment. A small moment, but you still saw it.
Osamu ended up pouring you a drink while you continued to talk. He leaned over the counter as you sat at the bar opposite of him, your faces only a few inches apart.
“I still can’t believe you remembered that.” You said quietly before taking a sip.
“Of course I remembered it. I couldn’t forget the silly shit you say even if I wanted to.” He teased, “Plus, I had to walk by that place every day after you left. Made me think of ya every time.”
“Silly shit, huh?” You raised an eyebrow, “You’re the one who thought it was a strip club.”
Osamu blinked at you. “That’s much more believable than being an old man’s exotic animal sanctuary.”
“Okay, okay, fine!” You didn’t realize how stupid the conversation was until he said it like that. The two of you broke into a fit of laughter just like you used to.
You looked at Osamu, the top of his cheeks squishing just under his eyes, loud, deep laughs filling the room and suddenly you’d never felt such an overwhelming feeling of… home.
Osamu looked back at you. His ash-coloured eyes studied your expression.
“Hey, do ya need a job?”
You hadn’t been home long, so you’d barely even thought of that. You had planned to take things a day at a time and try to find a career with your education, but your degree was hard to find employment with right away. Opportunities and internships were there, but there was no way you’d be getting an actual, paying job right away.
“…Yes?”
“Wanna work here?” He leaned in closer, “I don’t go around offerin’ just anyone a job at my high class establishment, ya know.”
“Something with the way you said that makes me feel like this is a joke.” You smirked.
“I’m just foolin’ around. I do need someone though. Wanna try it, at least? Tomorrow for dinner? I’ll show ya what it’s all about.”
You agreed. If anything, you wanted to see how Osamu ran his restaurant.
——— ♡ ———
The next evening, you entered through the back door just like he’d told you to.
“Osamu?” You called, immediately met with a response to come in the kitchen.
“Sorry, darlin’, couldn’t meet ya at the door. Doing prep for tonight.” He gestured down to the cutting board in front of him, “Wanna try?”
You quickly put down your things and washed your hands. When you took the knife from Osamu’s hand, he hesitated for a moment before giving it to you.
“It’s sharp.”
“I know.”
“You gotta be careful. It’s a real chef’s knife.”
“I know.”
“Go for it, then.”
You held your breath before getting to work, chopping up the onions quickly and stopping when you felt a hand on top of yours. Osamu was directly behind you, towering over you and pressing his chest into your back.
“‘Samu-“
“You’re gonna slice your hand off if ya keep cutting like that.” He muttered. You could feel the vibration of his low voice and were suddenly hyper-aware of the current situation.
“What’s wrong with my technique?” You huffed.
“You don’t have any technique.” Osamu snorted, “Don’t ya remember when I taught ya like… a million years ago?”
“I do remember you teaching me.” You leaned back into him, “I also remember you never letting me prepare or cook any food ever again after that day. So I could never practice my new skill.”
Osamu hummed in amusement. “Not even in college?”
You spun around, Osamu set the knife down safely on the table but caged you in with his arms. He looked down at you with a smirk. “Hm?”
“I’ll have you know, I didn’t cook a single time in college.” You declared. “You’d know that if you’d talked to me.”
Osamu sighed, hanging his head down on your shoulder. “We’ve already gone over this.”
“I know, I know. I’m just teasing you.”
He lifted his head back up, only a few inches from your face. You felt like the breath was taken directly out of your lungs when all you could think about was kissing him. You wanted to reach out and touch his muscular arms just for him to get greedy and grab you wherever he wanted.
“Miya-san?”
You froze, both of you wide eyed in surprise at the sound of a much younger voice. A young man, most likely freshly graduated from high school, stood beside the two of you as you remained in the compromising position.
Osamu pulled back, and both of you stood up straight.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt-“
“It’s okay, ya didn’t interrupt.”
He did, you thought, but you were silently thankful for that. Every ounce of self control that remained was about to fly out the window had you stayed like that for even a few seconds more.
His small group of employees started to file in and prepare the restaurant further for dinner. You retreated to Osamu’s office and laid down on the couch.
Osamu would have a couch in his office.
You listened as Osamu instructed his team. Taught the younger staff how to tune their skills, taking the time to show them with nothing but patience and positivity. The same comforting presence he always had.
You missed that.
You missed him.
“Hey.” Osamu walked into his office and shut the door behind him. “Finished prep, sorry it got a bit crazy. Didn’t realize we were so close to workin’ hours, thought we would’ve had more time before everyone else got in.”
“It’s fine.” You shook your head, “No need to apologize. It’s really cool seeing you in your element.”
“Ya think?” He couldn’t hide his grin. He stood in front of you, leaning back slightly with his hands on his desk behind him. “I like workin’ here.”
“Well, that’s good. I’d hope so.”
Osamu agreed with a chuckle and sat down next to you.
“Can I tell ya somethin’?”
He sat with his arm around back of the couch, which was technically around you, now. You looked up at him and nodded silently.
“I, uh-“ He shook his head, it was clear he was trying to say something but it was difficult. “I really missed ya.”
“I missed you too-“
“No, like…” He sighed, “I really… really missed ya. I tried goin’ on dates with other women. Didn’t get along with any of ‘em. I always compared ‘em to you. I waited for you to finish school, to see if you’d come back home, and you did. It felt like a sign or somethin’. So when I saw you at the bar last night,” He paused, “Totally, completely coincidentally, I may add.”
His serious tone turned lighter as you smiled at his words.
“I just had to talk to ya. And now that I did, it feels like when we were kids, ya know? Just the way that I always wanted you around. Wanted to spend time with ya, hell, you have no idea how badly I just wanted to kiss ya when we were in the kitchen earlier-“
“‘Samu.”
“I don’t even know why I let our breakup happen in the first place. Usually I would’ve just said we could work through it. But I guess I wanted ya to grow on your own, too. To not have me encourage ya every step of the way. Not that I don’t like to do that, but I wanted to show ya that you don’t need me either. That you’re incredible and strong all on your own.”
“Osamu.”
“But then I realized I didn’t have to do that. We didn’t have to break up for us to grow into who we are on our own. By then it was too late, though. But you just looked so happy. I never wanted to mess with that. So I didn’t bother ya, and now that I’m lookin’ at ya as an adult I’m just so fuckin’ proud of ya, of all of your accomplishments and the way you carry yourself. You’re just-“
“Osamu.”
“Yeah?”
You reached up and wiped a single tear drop falling down his cheek.
“You’re crying.”
“Oh, shit.” He turned away, wiping his eyes quickly and looking back at you. “I’m sorry. Man, I just started pourin’ my heart out to ya and couldn’t stop.”
“It’s okay.” You leaned in, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. You felt him let out a heavy exhale as he pulled you on top of his lap and right against him.
“I missed ya.” He sighed, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck. “So much. Fuck.”
You tried to respond but you were choked up. You hadn’t realized you were crying, either.
He lifted his head up and looked directly at you. Osamu’s smile was kind, his expression vulnerable and it warmed your heart just looking at him.
“I missed you, too.” You said quietly.
“Really?”
“Yes, really!” You pulled back, planting the palms of your hands on his chest. “You have no idea how much I missed you, ‘Samu. Every day I waited for you to call me. But I thought you didn’t want to. So I finally accepted it and tried to move on. But like you said, I couldn’t actually do that. Nobody compares to you.”
Osamu hummed in agreement, resting his hands comfortably on your hips.
“It’s nice to hear ya say that.”
“Speaking of that,” You smirked, “Did I hear you say you wanted to kiss me in the kitchen?”
“Oh, yeah, you did.” He blinked up at you, absolutely no hesitation in his response. “I wanted to real bad.”
Your last strand of self control snapped the moment you heard those words. You leaned down, pressing your lips to his and instinctively tangling your fingers in his hair.
His voice rumbled low in his throat as he wrapped an arm around your lower back, pulling you against him as tight as possible while he stood up.
“Osamu!” You giggled, wrapping your legs around him. “Don’t-“
“I won’t drop ya, baby.” He assured you, pressing his lips back to yours. The sweet name of endearment made your heart melt and all you could think about in that moment was him. “Not now, not ever. Never again. You’re stuck with me.”

Cheater, Cheater. ♡
———— ♡ ————
Pairing: Rintaro Suna x Reader
Synopsis: Suna’s cheating on his girlfriend with you. He can’t help it. You’re just so… addictive. Something about you. He’s obsessed.
CW(?): Implied smut, not explicit. Reader is shameless and doesn’t really care that he has a girlfriend. Reader is into him, but doesn’t want anything more (and he hates this).
———— ♡ ————
“Why do you lie to her so much?” You ask, tilting your head. His fingers tighten into your hips as you sit on his lap. “What’s the point?”
Suna sighs.
“Because she’s my girlfriend and I’m cheating on her with you. It’s not like I can just come clean with that information.” Suna leans in, kissing your neck softly. “It's fun. I don't love her like I love you. I don't feel real passion with her. I don't feel like she completes me. When I'm with you, I get that excitement. That rush.”
Suna stops for a moment, thinking of his next response before murmuring against your lips. “I have fun with my girlfriend, yeah, but that's it—fun. You make me feel… alive.”
“So?” You ask in response, pressing your lips back to his. “Why are you with her?”
“She’s good company. She’s my friend. She’s… comfortable, I guess. I can’t just break her heart like that.” Suna looks into your eyes. “I might not love her, but I do care for her. She just doesn’t give me what I need.”
You hum softly, sliding your hand under his shirt. “And? What is it that you so desperately need?”
Suna chuckles, his pupils slightly widening as your fingers softly trail circles on his toned abdomen. “I said it earlier—the excitement…”. He looks you in the eyes, his lips just barely an inch from yours as he whispers, “the passion… the rush.”
You nod, acknowledging his answer silently and resting your hands on your thighs. “Right, well. I gotta go.”
“Wait, no.” He rests his hands on top of yours. “Where? Why?”
“Relax, Rin. I have a final tomorrow.” You take his left hand and pull it close to your mouth, sucking on his index and middle fingers as you stare innocently into his eyes.
Suna groans, pulling his hand back. “You know that’s torture for me. Don’t do shit like that. Don’t look at me like that.”
You laugh softly, giving his cheek two little taps and getting out of his car. You lean in the passenger side window and continue your conversation. “I’ll see you later. Hopefully the sweet girl waiting up for you can take care of…” You glance down at his obvious erection. “That.”
“You’re such a bitch.” You smile wickedly as he says those words. “I like you, you know that?”
You roll your eyes. “You’ve told me once or twice. Bye, Rin.” Your smirk returns to your lips as you turn around, walking back through your college campus, swaying your hips with the knowledge that he was watching you.
——
Suna spends time idly pleasing his girlfriend by taking her for dinner and dessert. He couldn’t stand this. As much as he loved you, he couldn’t stand the sick thoughts running through his head as he sat across the table from such a kind girl. A good girl. Tall, blonde, athletic. They had so much in common. On paper, they made a great match. Perfect, even. But Suna was bored. She bored him, and he didn’t know why. She was safe.
You, on the other hand, were unpredictable. You didn’t fawn over him the way other girls did. Hell, he wasn’t sure you even liked him half the time. But when your lips met for the first time he knew that he wouldn’t be able to stop. Ever. It was like a hit of the most delicious high he’d ever had. He wanted you. Even if you didn’t want him, you were his.
Suna begins to think of you the moment he’s alone again. You didn't want him to call or text you very often, so he contemplated just popping by your dorm. He wondered if that would be too much, and if he should wait until the next time he was on your mind.
Suna shrugged, threading his fingers through his hair.
Fuck waiting.
——
You lazily opened your eyes as your phone buzzed and woke you from your half asleep state.
>> I’m coming over.
You laugh to yourself, typing back.
<< I ruined you, didn’t I?
The response was instant.
>> Yeah, you really did.
You get up and open the door as you hear his footsteps in the hallway.
“Hi.” You grin, trailing your gaze down his tall, muscular body as he comes in.
Suna gives a soft grunt in response, shutting the door with his foot and sliding his hands down your sides, squeezing your ass.
“You have a good evening?” You ask, looking up into his eyes with a false innocence. “Good time with your girl? Have a good fuck?”
He nods, looking back into your stare. “Yeah, it was… alright.” His voice is quieter. It’s almost as if he was on autopilot, he was barely even listening to your words. Something else was on his mind. “Can I kiss you?”
You nod. Suna smiles and leans forward, putting his lips to yours. Your lips were different than hers. So soft and sweet, so delicious, he could never get enough. He pulls back for a moment and looks at you, his eyes squinting slightly as his fingertips caress your face. “You're so beautiful.”
You smirk up at him, putting your hand over one of his. “You’re a sick fuck, you know that?”
A low moan leaves his lips as he kisses you again. “I know, I'm disgusting. But I can't help it.” He leans back slightly, looking at you. “I can't fucking help it, I need you. I need your lips… I need your hands on me.” Suna bites his tongue slightly and swallows. “And I need you so much that it hurts. I'm in so deep and I can't get out. My body needs you, my brain... God, I just want you so bad.”
“Hm.” You shrug. “It’s too bad you can’t have me.”
Suna slightly lowers his gaze and breathes sharply through his nose. “Why? Why can't I have you? I just want to feel you more. I just want to touch you more. To love you and to make you feel good in my arms.” He chuckles and takes a deep breath. “You're cruel, you know that?”
“I’m cruel? You’re the one with a girlfriend.” You shake your head, sliding your hands in the back pockets of his jeans as you continue to look up at him. “Plus, I don’t do relationships.”
“Of course you don’t.” Suna laughs quietly, “But you're just so damn tempting. You're so irresistible.” His fingers trail down your cheek and neck, stopping at your collarbone. “You could break my heart with the slightest touch.”
“Aww, poor baby. I’m sure you’d recover.” You tease.
He purses his lips in thought. “I'd never get over you. I'd feel the loss of you all the time.” He pulls away slightly and shuts his eyes. “But we could have... this. Just these moments, when we're with each other. Nothing more than that would be needed.” His eyes glance down to your lips. “You just tempt me so much. You're like a drug to me.”
You sigh, looking down. “So why do you even stay with her?”
“It's comfortable. I told you.” He frowns and looks at you. “I love her, I do, but it's never been like this with her. She'll never pull me in like you do. And fuck, you don’t even need to try.” Suna takes a deep breath. “I love spending time with her, but it's not the same. I love you so much. I'm so goddamn sick of her, even though I love her.
You lead him over to the couch, sitting next to him and resting your legs on his lap. “I’m sure you’re sick of me too, hm? Sick of how in love you are with me?”
He sighs and chuckles quietly. “So fucking sick of it. But God, I love it so much. I'm like... obsessed. With you. I swear, I think about you all the time. Suna shakes his head as he smiles at you. “God, I'm so screwed up. Look at me. I can't stop thinking about how much I want you.”
“I kinda like it.” You grin.
Suna bites his lip. “You do? You like seeing a guy obsessed with you? You like it when a guy wants to throw away his entire life and jeopardize his relationship all because of you?” He leans in again and kisses you, pulling you on his lap. “And to think you call me the sick fuck.”
You kiss him back, grinding your hips down on his. Suna lets out a low groan.
“You're so cruel.” He chuckles quietly. “I'm literally obsessed with you. I don't care about anything else. My grades, my team, any of it. I just want you.” He kisses you again, his hand slowly sliding down your back. “You really like seeing me lust after you this much?”
You smile against his lips, tangling your fingers in his hair and opening your mouth slightly. He moans softly, gripping your thighs tightly and grinding back up into you.
The two of you separate as you’re startled by knocking on your dorm room door. Your name is called, your best friend practically in hysterics as she calls for you. “Are you home? Please tell me you’re home. I think he’s cheating on me.”
Suna’s eyes widen. The last person he expected to interrupt the two of you was his girlfriend.

Mutual Loving. ♡
Pairing: Rintaro Suna x Female Reader
Genre: Smut.
*Minors DNI*
——— ♡ ———
CW: Mutual masturbation, praise, Suna’s hot. ♡
——— ♡ ———
You roll over in bed, nuzzling into your boyfriend’s chest. He’s sleeping soundly and you’re wide awake, feeling absolutely… insatiable. You drape and arm over his waist and kiss his neck softly. Suna hums softly, enjoying the feeling of you while he’s still half asleep.
Suna opens his eyes and turns to look at his alarm. It’s still dark outside, and he has to get up for practice in 10 minutes.
Suna wraps his arms around you, pulling you against him and pressing his lips to yours. “Good morning.” You whisper, moving your hand down his hips.
“Morning, baby.” He smiles and runs his fingers through your hair. “What’s the big idea, waking me up before my alarm goes off?” Suna smirks and kisses your cheek. “Hmm?”
“You’re just so sexy, I couldn’t resist.” You tease, half joking, but Suna knows exactly what you mean. He smirks and leans down, kissing you again. “Yeah?” He whispers against your lips, “You’re being real forward with me this morning. I like it.”
Suna turns and looks at the clock. 8 minutes until he has to get up, and he knows damn well that’s not enough time to get laid. He’s a generous lover, after all, and once he starts, he doesn’t want to stop. You press your palm to his cheek and turn his head back to look at you, kissing him again. This time your kiss is more heated, he can tell you want more.
“You’re driving me crazy.” He sighs, sliding his hand under your waistband. You can feel his erection pressing into your thigh and you bite your lip. “I wish I had enough time to fuck you.”
Your cheeks get warm as he speaks so nonchalantly. He presses a finger against your folds, sliding it up and down slowly to coat it in your slick. You moan as his finger hits your clitoris, focusing on the bundle of nerves with small circles. “You’re so ready for me, too.” Suna’s voice is intoxicating. The way he speaks is delicious, and you want more. You reach out to touch his now painfully hard cock, but he shakes his head and kisses down your neck.
“It’s okay, baby.” He moves his hand down slightly and slides two fingers inside you without another word. He grins to himself as he revels in the way you react to him. “I gotta go soon, and I want you to cum before I leave.”
You think to yourself for a second, subconsciously grinding your hips up into his fingers. There’s no way you’ll have time to do anything for him if you wait until after.
You develop an overwhelming sense of empowerment in that moment, and grab his wrist, pulling his hand out of your pants.
“What’s wrong?” Suna looks at you, blinking, “Are you okay? I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
“What? No.” You whisper, trying to build yourself up enough confidence to say what you want. “Of course not. I just wanna try something.”
“Mm?” Suna checks the clock again, 5 minutes. He knows he could’ve gotten at least one orgasm out of you by now, and would be on his way to giving you a second.
“I want you to… watch me.” You say quietly. Suna’s eyes widened. If he wasn’t awake before, he sure was now.
“But I can’t touch you?” He asks, and you shake your head. “Just yourself.” You smirk.
“Myself…” He can feel the wheels turning in his brain as he finally understands what you want. “Oh, okay. Got it. I’m down for that. We gotta make it quick, though.”
You nod and slide your hand down your stomach and under your waistband. Suna’s breath hitched as you immediately started, grinding up into your own fingers as you simultaneously used your hand. Suna immediately pulled his boxers down, freeing his cock and wrapping his hand around it. He closed his eyes for a minute, both enjoying the immediate relief he was getting, and soaking in the sounds you were making all on your own.
Suna watched your eyes as you saw him masturbate to you, the sight alone making you squirm. You watching him, him watching you… he was loving every second of it. He smirked and took his hand off, grabbing the hem of your shirt and pulling it up over your chest. He bit his lip as your breasts became exposed and nipples hardened from the quick temperature change.
You let out another soft moan. “You look so perfect, baby. Fuck. I love your body.” Suna slid his thumb along the tip of his penis, swirling the precum around the head and frenulum.
Suna knew he needed to hurry up. He should’ve just had sex with you at this point, because he was realizing that the two of you could do this for hours, edging yourselves for the entire day if you wanted. He looked around for some lube and remembered you’d ran out of it last week, and then saw your mouth open slightly, a telltale sign that you were getting closer.
Suna adjusted his position, using his other hand to slowly jerk himself off as he touched your face softly. He looked into your eyes, smiling at you. “Feel good, baby?” You nod, not slowing down. Your tits bounced as you fucked yourself with your fingers, and Suna knew his own orgasm was quickly approaching.
“Open your mouth.” Suna’s instructed, and you opened wide, sticking your tongue out. He rubbed two fingers along your tongue, smiling down at you. “Such a good girl…” He began to finger fuck your throat, causing you to choke, and coating his hand in saliva. “Always so obedient for me.”
You whined as you watched Suna use his wet hand on his cock, fucking into his fist. The sounds he was making were filthy. Praise fell from his lips as you touched yourself, his hand matching the rhythm of his thrusts.
“Gonna cum, Rin.” You squeaked, and he nodded. “Show me how you make yourself cum.” He said with a hint of unintentional vocal fry, “Play with your tits and cum for me, baby. Let me see.”
You felt a rush every time he spoke to you like that. You started to play with your nipples, pinching them and pressing your breasts together as he watched intently. Your hand moved skillfully as you played with your pussy. You were panting, eyes focused on Suna doing the same. He fucked his fist, lubricated with your saliva, and groaned your name. “You kill me, you know that? So fuckin’ hot.” His breaths were becoming uneven and you knew he was about to cum.
“Cum with me, babe.” You said sweetly, voice cracking at the end as your orgasm teetered on the edge. That was enough for Suna, and he nodded, groaning shamelessly as he sprayed his cum onto you. You came at the same time, a powerful orgasm washing over as the drops of his hot cum hit your skin.
You shut your eyes, trying to catch your breath. Suna did the same and slumped beside you, reaching over and pulling you close to him, kissing your cheek.
“What a nice way to wake up.” He mumbled, rubbing your back. You sighed, but both jumped as his alarm went off. He turned and smacked it on his nightstand.
“C’mon.” He sighed. He walked over to your side of the bed and picked you up, catching you off guard and making you laugh. “Where am I going? I’m not the one who has practice at 5am.”
“No, but you’re gonna come shower with me. I’ll put you back to bed after. I’ll clean you up, fuck you stupid, clean you up again, and you can sleep the day away.” He winked. “I’m only kidding. I know you have plans later, so you can’t sleep all day.”

You were happy once.
Pairing: Rintaro Suna x Reader
Genre: Hurt/Comfort, a prompt from this screenshot.
——— ♡ ———
“I feel like I’ve never been happy. There’s always just… something.” You pushed the hair out of your face, cold and wet from the pouring rain and cheeks stained from crying for what felt like an eternity.
Suna’s mouth curved into a small smile. A passive smirk - accompanied by a soft shake of his head.
“Why are you smiling?” You asked, looking away as you began to question the past few minutes. This was the first time you’d seen each other in years.
This was also the first time someone asked you how you were, and genuinely wanted to know, in a very long time.
“You’re lying.” Suna shrugged, resting his hand on top of yours; ring-adorned fingers interlacing with your own.
But you weren’t. Nothing you’d said had been a lie. You’d just opened your heart to your ex partner, the man you’d loved with everything you had, the one you’d never moved on from, the one you’d bared your soul to only to end up crushed when your relationship had reached its inevitable demise.
“Stop overthinking.” Suna’s golden eyes gazed into yours. He carefully studied your features, features he’d fallen in love with years prior and had never forgotten. He used to swear if he was an artist he could draw your portrait from memory, no matter how much time had passed since he’d seen you.
You hesitated for a moment.
“…Why would you say I’m lying, Rintaro?”
He knew you better than you knew yourself. He knew how badly you wanted to stay together, how much you wanted to stay by his side. He knew it. He spent every day missing you and knew it was his own damn fault for ending things and spending two years abroad.
“Because you are.” His hand left yours for a moment only to pour himself a fresh cup of coffee. It was only once he’d taken a few sips and set his mug back down that he continued. “Only about one thing, though.”
He had to. When he lost his parents, he lost himself. The only thing keeping him together was you.
Suna didn’t want that for you.
He didn’t want you to be his emotional punching bag. He didn’t want to drain you with his grief; spend his days crying and processing the horrific accident that he couldn’t get out of his head. He didn’t want to tell you about the survivors guilt, because he knew you’d tell him how valuable he was. How much you loved him and cared for him, how the accident was the other person’s fault.
He knew it was, but it didn’t change the fact that he was driving. He’d wondered if he’d even had a fraction of a second longer, if he could’ve swerved and spared the lives of the only family members he had.
He couldn’t stop these thoughts, and he didn’t want to subject you to them.
You understood. When he ended your relationship, you insisted it was okay. Told him you could handle it. You wanted to.
But he didn’t want that for you, and he had to heal on his own terms.
Running into him two years later at your favourite diner was not a coincidence. You’d spent every Tuesday evening there since you’d been in high school. It was your place together.
After he left, you continued to come every week, even though you were alone, waiting, hoping for him to show up again and come back into your life.
And to your disbelief, on a rainy May evening, he did.
“And?” You smiled when you heard a small chuckle in response to your question. A sound you’d missed more than anything else. “What’s the one thing?”
“You said you’ve never been happy.” Suna squeezed your hands in his. “But you have. You were happy once - with me.”
“Rin…” A second round of tears threatened to slide down your cheeks. This year had been hard. Last year had been hard. Life has been hard and he was right, you were happy with him. After he left everything felt like it just kept falling apart and never stopped.
He tilted your chin up to force you to look into his eyes. His tired, golden eyes tinted the lightest shade of red made you realize his own emotion had started to get the best of him.
“I came back for you.” Suna spoke in a quiet, comforting tone. His deep voice softened as he continued, “I told you I would. I promised you. I’m sorry I left, I just had to and I-”
“Rin, it’s okay. You needed to heal.”
“I did.” Suna nodded. “I’m finally feeling better and now it’s time.”
“For what?” You asked.
Suna slid out of his seat and sat down next to you in the booth. He put his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his chest.
“Time to make you happy again.”

Everlasting comfort.
--- ♡ ---
Pairing: Hajime Iwaizumi x Tooru Oikawa
Genre: Fluff / drabble. Highschool sweethearts to husbands. Suggestive, not explicit. ♡
--- ♡ ---
Thinking about Tooru Oikawa (16) and Hajime Iwaizumi (17) having sleepovers almost every night during the summer between their second and third years of high school. Spending every night cackling like absolute psychopaths so loud it wakes Oikawa’s mom up at 2am and she has to remind them to quiet down and that even though they’re on summer break, she still has to work in the morning.
Now they’re covering their mouths, trying to hold in their laughter because everything is funnier when you can’t laugh yet they both keep bringing up random inside jokes from when they were 12. Oikawa is crying real tears and smacking Iwaizumi trying to get him to stop laughing but Iwaizumi is just as unhinged and has completely lost control.
Iwaizumi is completely covering his face because every time he looks at Oikawa he laughs even harder, but every time he closes his eyes he pictures Oikawa struggling to keep a straight face and calm down and it sets him off all over again.
Oikawa takes a deep breath, mumbling a new mantra of “Okay, it’s okay. Nothing’s funny. It’s not funny anymore. Relax.” to himself and actually doing it calmly until Iwaizumi looks up at him and they both lose it all over again.
Oikawa’s mother sighs, turning off her bedroom light and getting back into bed. The hushed laughs of her son and his best friend are almost louder than before, but she just shakes her head with a small smile and lays her head on her pillow. After all, she didn’t have the heart to get upset at the boys for being noisy when they were only having fun.
“That’s a once in a lifetime friendship, Tooru.” She’d say to him, waving out the window of her car to Iwaizumi who she’d just dropped off at home. “I hope you two can stay just as close as adults.”
Oikawa smiles whenever he thinks of his mother saying that to him. He knew that all too well, both of them did. As if he would ever let his Iwa-chan go.
And 10 years later, when they share a hotel room during the 2020 Olympics, the two grown men are laughing like kids and reminiscing back to their high school days over a few drinks.
“Shit, it’s getting late.” Iwaizumi nods towards the clock on the wall. Just after 2am.
“About the time of night my mom would come in and tell us to be quiet.” Oikawa snorted out a laugh before taking the last sip. “Hey, Iwa-chan, remember what we used to do when we couldn’t stop laughing, no matter how hard we tried?”
“We’d see who could make the other shut up first.” He smirked, “Of course I remember.” He set his bottle down and sat on the corner of the bed. Oikawa walked towards him, both of their cheeks flushed from the alcohol.
“Mmhmm.” Oikawa purred, hooking a finger under Iwaizumi’s chin and tilting his face up towards him. “I also remember being quite good at that.”
“Really?” Iwaizumi smirked, heavy lidded eyes meeting his best friend’s.
“That’s right, Iwa-chan. You were always so easy to keep quiet once I tried- wha!”
In an instant, Oikawa was flipped backwards on the bed with Iwaizumi on top of him. His head was caged in between two strong arms and any thoughts that were previously in his head were gone. His mind was blank, his senses overwhelmed with Hajime’s musky scented cologne and toned abdomen pressing on the soft skin of his own.
“What were you saying, Tooru?” Iwaizumi got closer, his devilish grin remaining until he pressed his lips to the underside of Oikawa’s jaw. Using one hand to hold himself up, he brought the other to Oikawa’s throat and wrapped his fingers around his neck. “Something about how good you were at keeping me quiet?”
Oikawa couldn’t even think of a response. He didn’t want to. The only thing he could think of was Iwaizumi. Touching him, kissing him, feeling him.
So, he did. He pulled him down by his shirt collar and pressed their lips together. Their kisses grew frantic, clothes thrown to the floor and all attempts at keeping anyone ‘quiet’ were quickly forgotten.
Oikawa sighed into Iwaizumi’s chest, strong arms wrapped around him and bare bodies pressed close together.
“I missed you.” Oikawa muttered.
“It’s only been a month since I last saw you.” Iwaizumi chuckled, “We’ve gone a lot longer than that.”
“I don’t like going even that long.” Oikawa pouted.
“You know what I don’t like?” Iwaizumi nodded towards the bedroom floor, “That we got married a few months ago and your jersey still says Oikawa.”
“I already gave someone shit for that.” He responded with a yawn, “I finally get out here for the olympics when you’ve been training for a month with team Japan and this is how you treat me? Your sad, lonely husband?”
“I’m sorry, Tooru. I didn’t realize me moving to Argentina with you would be the root cause of your abandonment issues when I have to work with olympic athletes… once every four years.”
“I don’t like your tone.” Oikawa nuzzled even harder into Iwaizumi.
“I’m just teasing you, you shit head.” Iwaizumi hugged Oikawa closer and gave the top of his head a soft kiss. “I missed you, too.”
Oikawa held on to Iwaizumi just as tight, sometimes feeling like life was too good to be true. Almost as if he was too lucky to have had the perfect man return his feelings.
He was glad he’d never let go of his Iwa-chan, and that Hajime had never let go of him. He couldn’t even imagine what life would’ve been like if they’d drifted apart while they lived in different countries after high school.
Of course, that never would’ve happened with them.
They were soulmates.
Soulmates with a once in a lifetime friendship.

Answer Me.
pairing: rintarou suna x female reader
genre: smut. pure smut. 18+ only. fluffy ending bc he loves you sm.
synopsis: suna’s a bit territorial over you after he saw the way you acted at a team japan get together and he wants to make sure you know who you belong to.
content warnings: light bdsm / dom/sub dynamics, spitting, jealousy, spanking, choking.
“Colour?”
“Green-” You choked out, Suna’s hand giving a painful smack against your ass.
“Count. If you stop, we’re starting over.”
“Okay...” you said with a shaky breath. “One.”
He nodded, lifting his hand far in the air and giving you another hard smack.
You jolted forward at the pain, his opposite arm pinning you down into his lap. He was sitting straight up on the couch, with you lying on your stomach over his knees. The perfect position for a spanking.
“Two!” You cried.
“You sure liked being around all of those guys tonight, didn’t you?” He mumbled, giving you another smack.
“Three... no, Rin- I-“
“So all of that flirting with Bokuto, Atsumu, Sakusa... hell, even our trainer Iwaizumi? I was just imagining that?” He asked before his palm reconnected with your ass.
You winced as this was the most painful one yet.
“N-no! Four...” you choked out. “I mean- I wasn’t flirting-”
“So you’re saying I’m a liar?”
His hand reconnected with your ass, the echo of skin to skin contact filling the room.
“No! Rin, you’re not... five...”
His big hand rubbed the red spot on your cheek, digging his fingers into the hot flesh.
He was still completely clothed, overdressed even, as you’d just returned from a celebratory dinner with team Japan.
You, on the other hand, were completely naked. The feeling of being totally exposed while he was still dressed was just a small part of the humiliation he wanted to bring to you.
“Which is it then, huh?” He asked sharply, his fingers digging into your jaw as he yanked you up on his lap. “Am I a liar? Or are you just a little slut?”
His eyes burned into yours and you felt tears prick the inner corners of your vision.
You cowered under his steady gaze. He was angry, angrier than you’d ever seen him.
You didn’t think you’d done anything wrong. Laughing at Bokuto’s jokes, touching Atsumu’s arm when you were talking to him, and blushing when Iwaizumi complimented your outfit. It was all harmless.
Suna, on the other hand, soaked in every small interaction you’d had with his team like a sponge. His frustration slowly building over the night.
He knew the way the guys talked about women. They talked about women as if they were just holes to get their dicks wet. Constantly talking about the mindless, lacklustre sex and one night stands they were having every time they were in the locker room.
It’s not like Suna fully disagreed, he was heavily into consensual degradation and name calling. But that was behind closed doors. He had class, never speaking about you sexually to his teammates.
One thing he had over all of those other guys was a relationship that filled his heart with so much love he didn’t think he could handle it. Every day he loved you with everything he had. He took care of you, paid the bills, and bought you anything you wanted.
He was excited to show you off to everyone. To show them how in love the two of you were, to let them see the attachment between you two, the way you stared at him as if he was the only man in the world.
So why were you giving them so much attention?
Deep down, Suna knew you didn’t really do anything worthy of his unprecedented anger. He also knew that you were painfully aware of how jealous he could get.
He wasn’t possessive, he just didn’t want to share you.
How hard was it for you to understand that?
“Answer me.”
“I-...” you stumbled on your words, knowing exactly what he wanted you to say. “I’m just a stupid slut...”
He pulled down your bottom lip with his thumb, slowly pushing it into your mouth to softly rub on your tongue.
“A slut? Yes." He sighed, olive green eyes staring into yours while he continued, "Stupid? Never.”
His gaze softened at the last two words, and you closed your lips around his thumb.
“Mm..” he mumbled quietly, enjoying the warmth of your mouth.
Suddenly he sat up, shoving you off of his lap and you sunk down to the floor on your knees.
“Look what you did.” He scoffed, pointing at the wet spot you’d left on his pants. “I just bought these.”
“I’m sorry...” you said quietly, looking away from him in shame.
His hand gripped your chin, forcing you to look back at him.
“Soaking wet and all I’ve done is spank you.” He smirked. “What a masochistic whore.”
Your face went red as you heard his filthy words.
“Open.” He instructed.
You immediately obliged, opening your mouth wide and sticking your tongue out.
Suna leaned down, gathering saliva in his mouth and forcefully spitting it directly onto your tongue. You flinched as it hit your mouth but didn’t dare close it.
“At least you’re obedient.” He sighed, forcing your mouth closed. “Swallow.”
You obeyed, swallowing just like he told you to do.
He kissed your jaw, slowly trailing his mouth up until he was directly next to your ear.
“Good girl.” He whispered, chills running through your body as his breath tickled your neck and praise made you momentarily forget anything but him.
Suna sat back on the couch, putting his arms behind his head as if he was going to relax. He looked down at you, innocent eyes staring up at him like a little puppy.
“What?”
“I-.. but-“
“Use your words.” He said with no emotion, not even bothering to look at you.
“Are we- are you done? Should I get up?”
“Does it seem like we’re done?” He asked, eyes still closed. Your vision travelled to the massive, hard outline in his pants. You definitely weren’t done.
“No...” You replied hesitantly. You weren’t sure where he was going with this, but your cheeks burned at the rising humiliation coursing through you.
Suna palmed at his growing erection, letting out a low “mm” as he gently squeezed it through his pants.
“I’m not going to do anything for you. If you want me, prove it.”
You sat up, undoing his belt right away and unzipping his pants. He helped you in the smallest way, barely lifting himself up so his pants would come down lower.
You pulled his cock into your mouth immediately after freeing it from his tight boxer briefs.
“Ah,” he groaned through clenched teeth. He tilted your head up so just the tip stayed in your mouth.
He loved the way you looked with your mouth full.
“I told you to prove it” he breathed, his erection slapping against his dress shirt as you released him from your mouth. “Tell me how badly you want me, and maybe I’ll let you suck me off.”
“Please Rin, can I-“ he placed a finger over your mouth and stopped you mid sentence.
“You don’t get to call me that right now. Take your pick, Suna, Daddy, Master, Sir, Rintarou...” He paused for a second. “But no cute nicknames. Start over.”
This was a test.
You blinked, knowing exactly what he wanted.
“Please, please let me suck on your cock, Rintarou.” You pleaded as you stared up at him.
Suna wasn’t one for pet names. He didn’t particularly care for any of the typical dom/sub themed names.
Instead, he simply loved the way you said his first name.
You called him Rin so often that when you said his full name, Rintarou, it drove him absolutely crazy. He didn’t really know why, but hearing his name come out of your pretty little mouth made him absolutely feral.
You saw the corners of his mouth curve into a smirk as the words passed your lips.
He brought his cock back down to you, rubbing the wet tip messily on your face.
“Say it one more time, pretty girl.” He smiled.
“Please, please Rintarou, I want your big cock in my mouth so badly, please, I want you, Rintarou-“
Before you could say any more, his hand tangled in your hair and shoved your mouth down on him, hitting the back of your throat.
You tried to move, but he kept you there for a few seconds as you coughed and your throat slowly relaxed.
He pulled your hair back up, soaking in the desperate look in your eyes and your tear stained cheeks.
He brought his other hand down, wiping the fresh tears from your eyes.
“Colour?” He asked softly.
“Green.” You said, barely audible with your mouth completely full.
He bit his lip, studying your beautiful face for an extra few seconds before shoving you back down onto him.
You choked on the sudden impact as he hit the back of your throat again.
His grip on your hair loosened, allowing you to move freely. You took the opportunity to suck up and down at a steady pace, just how he liked it.
He exhaled your name quietly and moved your hair out of your face. His touch was soft, the eyes that were just burning with resentment were replaced with a gaze full of nothing but love.
“So good for me,” he mumbled. “Fuck, your mouth feels so good, baby.”
You moaned happily, the vibrations of your voice sending a wave of pleasure over Suna.
You sat up a bit higher, making sure not to let your mouth leave him completely, and lifted your arms to unbutton his shirt.
Suna took a bit of mercy on you, going along with you and removing his shirt quickly. You took a moment to look up at your boyfriend.
His face was shining with just the slightest glimmer of sweat. His hair styled perfectly, small pieces sticking to his forehead before he ran his fingers through it and pushed it back. You noticed the way his biceps bulged as he did that and you looked at him in pure lust. You had never been as attracted to another person as you were to Suna, and thanked the world every day for allowing you to be blessed with such a beautiful man.
“Don’t look at me like that.” He said as he looked into your eyes.
You took him out of your mouth, using both of your hands and the residual saliva to slowly jerk him off.
“Like what?” You smiled.
“Like you love me.” He smirked back at you. “It’s hard to be tough on you when your pretty eyes are all I can focus on.”
“It’s hard not to look at you like that when I love you more than anything.” You said softly.
“Fuck..” Suna whispered, he bent all the way down and hooked his arms under yours, pulling you back onto his lap. You bit your lip as he set you down perfectly straddling his length, the pressure against your clit causing you to squint and the only thing you could think about was how badly you wanted him inside of you.
You draped your arms over his shoulders and kissed him. Suna kissed back immediately, running his hands up and down your sides before cupping your breasts and pinching your nipples. The sudden shock of pleasure caused you to jerk forward, grinding directly against his cock.
“Hmm?,” He smirked, moving his hands back around you and gripping your ass. “Did that feel good?”
You nodded, eyes watering as he moved you back and forth on top of him, your most sensitive spot sliding up and down his shaft.
“Ah-“ He breathed, closing his eyes to try and keep himself from submitting to the pleasure. One of his hands snaked up your body and wrapped around your throat. He pulled you down to press your forehead against his, looking directly into your eyes.
“Cum for me just like this and maybe I’ll fuck you after.” His voice was practically a growl. You could tell how badly he wanted more, but he was holding out for you.
Your brows furrowed and eyes squeezed shut as you came closer and closer the faster you moved your hips against him. His hand squeezed around your throat and your eyes fluttered open to his dark green gaze still staring directly into yours.
“Don’t you dare look away from me or close your eyes when you cum.” He whispered, kissing you quickly before he pulled back again. “Show me how good I make you feel.”
You felt yourself tearing up as you got closer and closer to your release, grinding against him at an uneven pace to get to where you wanted to be. Small whimpers from your chest turned into whines and groans being ripped from your throat, some being cut short when his hand tightened around you for a few seconds. As you kept desperately rutting against him, his opposite hand gripped your hip and rocked your body at a steadier pace.
“Close, baby?” His mouth curved into a crooked smile, and you could only nod in response as it was coming quicker than you’d thought.
“Who makes you feel this good?” He asked, letting out a tsk when you bit your lip but didn’t answer. He dug his fingers into your waist and stopped you from moving completely. “You’re not getting anything if you’re not going to answer me.”
You could feel the tears start to fall down your cheeks, frustration building up only seconds after edging you so suddenly.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered. Suna shook his head, loosening his grip on your side and letting you move again.
“Who makes you feel this good?” He asked again, his voice clear and much louder than before. He wasn’t asking for a response, he was demanding one.
“You, y- fuck, you do, Rin..” You sighed, picking up the pace once again as your wet heat slid perfectly along his length.
“Rin?” He asked, tilting his head. His hand gripped you again and slowed down your pace.
“Rintarou! You do, Rintarou. You make me feel so good.” You choked, desperate to cum now that he’d edged you a second time.
“Good girl.” His gaze lowered and both of his hands flew to your ass, lifting you up and slamming himself into you before you even knew what was happening.
The feeling of him stretching you out and filling you up so suddenly almost had you seeing stars, you gripped his shoulders as hard as you could and held on as he thrust up into you. He bit his lip to keep from moaning out loud, but you grinding on him for so long had gotten him close to his limit, too.
“Fuck, such a perfect little pussy.” He mumbled, looking back up to you and his eyes widening when he saw the completely fucked out expression on your face.
“Cum for me, baby.” He growled, thrusting up into you while simultaneously bouncing you up and down on his lap. “Cum all over my cock and look at me while you do it.”
His words alone were all you needed to lose yourself, your orgasm washing over you with such force that you could barely focus on looking at him. Suna was the one to break the eye contact, groaning and throwing his head back as you clenched tightly and gushed around him. Your orgasm sent him over the edge, his fingers digging into your hips and his thrusts slowing down with each shallow breath. He finally stopped and you slumped over him, his hands wrapping around your back and kissing your cheek.
“I love you so much.” He mumbled, trying to catch his breath.
“I love you too, Rin.” You sighed happily when he didn’t correct you, knowing everything was back to normal. “Sorry for making you jealous.”
“You didn’t even do anything wrong. I’m sorry for being so possessive.” He admitted, his cheeks reddening as he came clean.
“I know. I like it when you’re a little mean, though. So I went along with it.” You giggled, pressing a kiss to his neck.
“So I was right, you are a masochist?” He was amused, and you leaned back to look at the happy smile on his face. You squished his cheeks with each of your hands and puckered his lips, kissing him over and over until he was fully laughing.
“Maybe.” You smiled, wrapping your arms and legs around him as he stood up and carried you to the bathroom. “You should find out for yourself, to be completely sure.”
“Sounds like a challenge that I’m not gonna lose, babe.” He bent down and started the shower, standing back up all with you still in his arms. His upper body strength was something that constantly amazed you.
“Can’t wait.” You whispered, giving him one last kiss before the two of you got into the shower and washed away the day together.

goodnight ♡
pairing: rintaro suna x female reader
genre: fluff, drabble, soft suna, sarcasm and teasing from both of you but he’s still so sweet on you <3
synopsis: you can’t sleep and suna facetimes you~
——— ♡ ———
“Rin? You still awake?”
“Mm?” Suna came back into view of the camera, his eyelids heavy and a look of absolute exhaustion taking over. “I’m here, babe. Sorry.”
“No, it’s okay. I really should let you go. I’m sorry for keeping you up as late as I have, you have practice in the morning, don’t you?” You rolled over to check the time on your nightstand and had to do a double take when you saw it was already 3am.
You weren’t tired at all. You couldn’t sleep even if you tried. You’d lay in bed for hours and nothing would happen. You’d shut your eyes and your body had an immediate reaction, you felt alone, and so alone you couldn’t relax properly.
Your boyfriend had noticed you sent him a late night text and he facetimed you to see if you were okay.
“Yeah, I do-“ Suna stretched his arms and reached over to turn his lamp on. “Nothing I can’t handle. Sleep deprivation’s worth talking to you for a little bit longer.”
“I miss you when you’re not here.” You blurted out, partly not even meaning to have said that out loud. “Sorry. That was super clingy of me. You were just here last night-“
“You’re not clingy, shut up.” Suna laughed, shaking his head. “It’s not a crime to wanna spend time together. I miss you too.”
You looked away and back at the screen, Suna’s gaze was soft; kind and loving, the same look he’d give you when you’d just wake up or when you were really happy about something. He found himself completely mesmerized by you even when you weren’t doing anything. Driven by a love that he never knew he would experience, but now that he has, he’d do anything not to lose you.
“You’re so pretty.” He sighed, “I just wanna pull you into my lap and never let you leave. Keep you with me forever.”
“I can’t believe I thought I was the clingy one and you hit me with that, damn. I should record this.” You teased, “I’m kidding, I’m kidding. I love it when you say cute stuff like that.”
“Keep that up and I’ll never do it again. Insults only for the rest of our lives, baby. Choose your fate.” He smirked and shook his head, “You know, I wouldn’t even be able to. I have, like, no self control when it comes to you. I try and tease you and my brain just fights me and wants to say some sappy shit instead.”
“Rintaro Suna, the secret softie.” You hummed, “Who would’ve known?”
“Uh, nobody. You and you only. I told you.” Suna paused for a moment, yawning and running his hand through his hair. “Wanna come over?”
“Right now? Rin, it’s almost 4am-“
“And? Come sleep with me, I’ll go to practice in the morning, then I’ll come home and we can spend the rest of the day together.”
You turned to double check the clock and looked back at your boyfriend. His genuine smile was more than enough to convince you to get in your car and drive the 10 minutes over to his apartment.
“Fine, only ‘cause it’s you.” You smirked, pulling on one of his hoodies he’d left in your room.
“I’d hope it’s only ‘cause it’s me, I’d be pretty jealous if you were hanging out with some other dude in the middle of the night.” He snickered.
“You’re so lame.” You rolled your eyes, keeping your tone sarcastic and playful. “See you soon.”
——— ♡ ———
Suna pulled you inside the moment you opened the door, closing and locking it before you could even get your shoes off.
“Happy to see me?” You giggled.
“Always. Hurry up.”
You kicked your shoes off and turned back to Suna. When you looked at him, a devilish smirk crossed his face. He leaned down, wrapping his arms around your waist and throwing you over his shoulder.
“Excuse you?!” You laughed, holding on to him for dear life. “I can walk, Rin!”
“No time. You’re too slow and I’m tired.” He gently tossed you into his bed and shut off the light. Suna crawled in after and wrapped his arms back around you.
“Don’t like this.” He mumbled, tugging on the hoodie you were wearing. You sat up, pulling it off and laid back down on his chest.
“Mm, much better.” He sighed, closing his eyes. Your shirt was thin and your bare arms snaked around his waist. His skin was warm and you happily rested your head on his chest.
“I’m so sleepy now.” You muttered, your voice barely a whisper as you felt the exhaustion creeping up. “It’s so hard for me to sleep without you.”
“Me too. I guess we’re fucked.” He kissed the top of your head, “In a good way, obviously.”
“Only you would describe our relationship as ‘fucked, but in a good way.” You snorted, causing Suna to laugh out loud.
“Part of why you fell for me, isn’t it? I just have a way with words.” Suna squeezed you against his chest for a few seconds. “Stupid jokes aside, though, thanks for coming over.”
“Thanks for having me.” You leaned up, pressing your palm to his cheek and giving him a soft kiss. “We should go to sleep.”
Suna nodded, but pulled you back down when you broke away from him. He pressed his lips to yours and his hand travelled down your back to softly rub your skin. When he pulled away, he looked up at you with the same loving gaze from before.
“I love you.” You whispered, giving his cheek a final kiss before settling back into your spot on his chest.
“I love you too, baby.” Suna took a deep breath, slowly exhaling and fully relaxing with you snuggled up against him.
“Sweet dreams.”

party preparation
———♡———
pairing: rintaro suna x reader
genre: fluff, domestic fluff, drabble, slightly suggestive, suna’s a DORK and ugh he loves you so much <3
synopsis: getting ready for osamu’s halloween party with your fiancé
———♡———
“No. Absolutely not.”
You covered your mouth with your hand as you stared at your fiancé with furrowed brows, trying everything you could to not to react.
“I can tell you’re trying not to laugh.” Suna said, placing a hand on his hip before getting closer to you. “Imagine how the guys would act if they saw me wearing this. I’d never live it down.”
Suna was wearing a pair of firefighter pants with suspenders and no t-shirt. He was holding a fake axe that he was mindlessly swinging around, and a red plastic hat settled comfortably on top of his head.
You wondered how long it would take before you’d get used to seeing his incredible body. Both him and Osamu had crazy workout regimens that were absolutely exhausting compared the other volleyball guys already lengthy workouts. The difference was the other guys were lean, they ate clean and treated their bodies like temples.
Suna and Osamu spent far too many evenings after a particularly stressful day eating like pigs and stuffing themselves with all of the junk food they could get their hands on. It’s fine, they’d say, they’ll just burn the calories in the morning.
Which they always did… and then some. Coupled with hours of weight training and you get two beefy best friends who turn heads everywhere they go and they don’t even notice.
“I’m not trying not to laugh.” You spoke into your palm, not moving your hand from your face. You were blushing. Your own fiancé, who you’ve been with for years, was making you blush like crazy just because he was shirtless.
How ridiculous.
“Oh? Hmm..” Suna took your hand off of your mouth, pressing your palm to his toned abdomen. He smirked, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you directly against him.
“Fancy meeting you here.” He smirked and leaned down to give you a soft kiss. Before pulling away completely, he whispered in your ear. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were a bit flustered right now.”
“Shut up.” You mumbled into his chest.
“Oh shit, no way?” He snorted, “You got a thing for firefighters, babe?” Suna stepped back, posing in a way that would only be present on the front cover of a “sexy first responder” themed calendar.
“You like what you see?” He asked with a cheeky grin.
“You’re such a dork!” You laughed, running over to him and stealing his toy axe. You whacked playfully at his arm and he squinted at you. Another devilish smirk crossed his lips and he flexed his biceps at you.
“If you wanted to see my muscles, you could’ve just asked me.” He winked at you.
“Oh my god, stop!” You threw the axe at him and ran away. He took this as a challenge, catching up to you in the blink of an eye and wrapping his arms around you. He picked you up effortlessly and tossed you on your bed.
“We need to get going.” You smiled. Suna nodded, flopping down on the bed next to you. You both turned on your sides to look at each other.
“Maybe I don’t wanna go now.” He said quietly.
“You didn’t want to go to begin with. If you really hate it, you can wear something else.” You sighed, pressing your palm against his cheek. “You could always do your original idea and go as Atsumu.”
Suna cracked up and shook his head. “I was kidding when I said that. I’m not putting that pig’s jersey on. Anyways, it’s fine. I don’t really hate this costume anymore.”
“Oh?” You blinked at him, “What changed in the past 20 minutes?”
“Mm,” Suna leaned forward, pressing his lips against yours. He pulled away and gave you a tender, genuine smile. A smile meant for you and only you. The softest expression he could ever make and you were the reason behind it. “I liked the way you looked at me when you saw it.”
“What?!” You covered your mouth again, he shook his head and pulled your hand away.
“Stop acting like that. I loved it. Made me feel wanted.” He hesitated, thinking of how to finish his confession. “Not like you don’t always make me feel wanted… just, like, a bit extra. You looked like you wanted to eat me.”
You scrunched your nose at him and he laughed, giving you another kiss. “Am I wrong?”
“No. Okay. No. You’re sexy. So sexy it’s distracting.” You buried your face in his chest, “We’ve been trying to get ready for this party for almost an hour, Rin.”
“So what’s another 30 minutes?” His voice was barely a whisper as he pulled you on top of him. “I haven’t been able to take my eyes off of you since you put that costume on and all I can think about is taking it off.”
You looked down at him and your fiancé stared back up at you with nothing but adoration. You smiled again, leaning in to kiss him the way you’d been dying to all evening. Suna opened his mouth to let your tongue inside, the two of you moving from soft kisses to gasping for air and low groans in a matter of seconds.
He quickly flipped you over, hovering over you and pressing his forehead to yours. “I love you. So much. Fuck, I love you.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him back in for another kiss. “I love you too, Rin.”
“Good.” He leaned in and kissed down your neck, his hand working it’s way down to your waist. Sloppy, wet kisses with little bites causing quiet whines to escape from your lips.
“Now,” he mumbled against your skin, “let’s make these next 30 minutes count. We’ve got a party to go to.”

anxiety comfort~
——— ♡ ———
pairing: rintaro suna x female reader
genre: fluff, comfort, mental health and reassurance, drabble
synopsis: suna comforts hypochondriac reader during a panic attack
——— ♡ ———
“I feel like I can’t breathe,” you gasped, clutching on to anything within reach. Your fingers dug into your forearms as you clenched the material of your sweater.
“What happened?” Suna instinctively wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you close to him while he navigated the two of you out of the busy shopping centre
“I just… I started feeling weird.” You mumbled, trying to stabilize your breathing. Deep down you knew this was irrational. You knew how this would end, hell, you knew where it started. But those feelings were being second guessed by your head playing tricks on you; evil tricks to send you spiralling in only a few seconds.
“How so?” Suna had a feeling what you were going to say, and to be honest, he wasn’t really trying to get the specifics. He was really just trying to get you to talk.
“My head felt kind of weird, and then when you were looking at cd’s I pulled out my phone and googled the symptoms… and it said some really scary stuff.” You clenched your fists tighter, stretching the material thin. “Now my hearts racing and my head feels even weirder and I’m sweating…”
“Mm,” he hummed, opening the door and leading you outside. The cold air was refreshing and gave you a brief moment of clarity. “You know, I’m pretty sure Dr. Google isn’t listed as an accredited provider.” Suna said with a small smile.
“Even so,” you sighed, nervously looking around. “I just don’t feel okay. Like I need to go to the hospital. Like something is really wrong, and I-“
“Shh,” Suna wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his chest. He rubbed your lower back and continued talking in a soothing, quiet voice. “You’re okay, baby. You’re fine.”
“You don’t know that, Rin!” You tried to push off of him, but his grip wasn’t letting you go away. You could feel tears prick your eyes as the panic and frustration reached an all time high.
“You’re having a panic attack, babe.” He mumbled, kissing the top of your head. His hand continued to softly rub your back while the other held you close to him. “It’s okay, I promise you’re going to be okay.”
“But what if-“ You started to talk, but Suna just shook his head. He pulled back, quickly rummaging through his backpack to pull out a water bottle.
“We’re not going to think about any ‘what ifs.” He smiled, handing you the water bottle. “What if a plane exploded and landed on us right now? What if a lion escaped from the zoo and decided to eat us? What if some random person came and stabbed me and I died?”
Your eyes widened at his words while you took a big drink of his water. “That would be scary.”
“Yes, and they’re all hypothetical scenarios.” He smiled, looking down at you with nothing but love and adoration. “In theory, anything could happen. But right now, in this moment, none of that stuff is happening.”
“I mean, I guess you’re right…” You muttered, looking down at the ground.
“How’s your head?” He asked, taking the water bottle back from you and taking a sip for himself. “Still feel weird?”
“Mm,” you pressed your hand to your head. Whatever feeling set you off was gone, and to be honest, you’d already forgotten about it. “I feel fine now.”
“And your breathing?” Suna asked as he leaned down, resting his chin on your shoulder. “Seems like it’s evened out now.”
“I… yeah, I guess it has…” You hadn’t even noticed but your death grip on your sweater had fallen once you’d stepped outside. The conversation had already calmed you down before you even knew it.
Suna smiled, pressing his palm against your cheek and looking at you with a soft expression.
God, he loved you. He knew you inside and out. He knew how much you worried, how easily you could fall into a state of panic and let it spiral out of control.
He also knew how to help you get out of it.
“See? You’re okay, baby.” He leaned in and pressed his lips to yours. “I told you.”
You turned away from him, staring down at the ground.
“Now I just feel stupid.” You muttered.
“Don’t ever feel stupid around me.” Suna bent down to get on your eye level, taking your arms and placing them around his shoulders. The moment you looked to see what he was doing, his arms wrapped around your thighs and he picked you up in his arms. You let out the smallest giggle while he carried you to his car.
“There she is.” He beamed, squeezing you in his grip. “There’s that beautiful smile I was waiting to see.”
You sighed, pressing your face into the crook of his neck. “Thank you.”
“No need to thank me, it’s my job to protect you.” He smirked, putting you down as you got to his car. “Even if I need to protect you from yourself, sometimes.”
You nodded, waiting for him to open the door for you like he always does.
“I love you so much.” He smiled, leaning down to give you another kiss. “Every little thing about you. I just wanted you to know that.”
“Aw, Rin.” You blushed, your mood doing a complete 180 from the panic attack you were under only 15 minutes prior. “You don’t have to say stuff just to make me feel better. I think I’m fine now.”
“I wasn’t saying that to make you feel better, nerd.” Suna’s mouth turned in a cheeky smile. “I was just letting you know.”
“Ah, okay.” You nodded, grabbing his hands and squeezing. “Well, I love you too. Every single thing about you. So much.”
“Good. I’m glad.” Suna opened the door for you and gave your ass a smack as you got in. “Now let’s go get something to eat.”

involved.
———♡———
pairing: rintaro suna x female reader
genre: one shot, yandere-ish, drabble. 755 words.
synopsis: mafia boss / unspecified gang/criminal(?) suna & reader who doesn’t care, no matter how bad of a person he might be.
tw: guns, knives, descriptions of violence, threats, death (not suna or reader).
———♡———
“I’m not someone you want to get involved with.”
Maybe if you’d listened to him when he’d originally said that, you wouldn’t have a gun pointed at your head.
“What did I fucking tell you?” Suna murmured, a pained look on his face and teeth clenched. He was sweating, his heart beating rapidly and trying to catch his breath.
“That you’re not someone I want to get involved with.” You replied, wrapping your hand carefully around his wrist. The gun was clasped tight in his grip and pressed to the underside of your chin.
“So what are you doing here? Why didn’t you listen to me?” He looked to his left, towards the door that led to your location. The current situation was time sensitive and Suna had to make a decision. Fast.
You squeezed your fingers into his wrist, giving him a crooked smirk and squinting your eyes.
“I didn’t listen to you because you were wrong.” You breathed, the reality of the situation was quickly bringing you to realization but you wouldn’t let it show. “You are someone I want to get involved with.”
“You just saw me kill someone.”
His eyes burned into yours with an intense gaze.
“I know.”
He pushed the gun further into your chin, the metal digging into your skin and becoming increasingly uncomfortable.
“How do you know you won’t end up just like him?” Suna glanced at the body, blood splattered on the floor and dripping down the walls.
You reached out, pressing your thumb and forefinger into his jaw and turning his head to look back at you.
“I just know.” You leaned forward, unable to keep a straight face and going back to your cheeky smirk. “You’d never hurt me.”
Suna glared at you, grunting as he roughly pulled the gun away from your face.
“You sure about that?”
You nodded, running a hand under your chin to press against the reddening skin.
“I’m positi-“
You were interrupted with a gunshot.
Suna stood in front of you, glancing down at you and showing absolutely no emotion as you tried to catch your breath.
For a second, and only a second, you thought that gunshot was for you. While that was technically true, it was only to scare you. Not to hurt you.
The bullet flew past your ear and into the wall behind you.
“What if that bullet had hit you?” He asked, stepping forward to you once again.
You shrugged. “I guess I’d be dead.”
“How can you be so careless with your life?” Suna got in your face, his behaviour becoming erratic as his frustrations grew from your stubbornness. “What’s driving that sick sense of entitlement?”
“Love.” You smiled, looking up at him with a blink of your eyes. “It makes you do crazy things.”
Suna scoffed, about to say something else when the door broke down and two men burst inside.
“Fucking out of time.” He mumbled, turning to face the two men. They weren’t armed with guns, but were holding large knives instead.
The first man ran towards Suna, the other dashing behind his partner and getting over to you.
The man and Suna had each other at a stand-off, but Suna was faster. He shot the man without hesitation.
The other grew desperate, pressing a knife to your throat.
“Make any move other than getting the fuck out of here and she dies.” He chuckled, pressing his face to yours. “Try to shoot and risk hitting her. Your pick, Suna.”
Suna placed his gun in his pocket, shrugging at the man and heading to the door. “Do what you want with her. I couldn’t care less.”
“You really are heartless.” The man said to himself, removing the knife from your neck as Suna got further away. “And definitely more of a pussy than people make you out to be.”
In an instant, Suna had turned around and shot at the man. One shot to the head. A perfect hit, even with the distance.
He rushed over to you, grabbing your wrist and pulling you up. He pulled you out the door and towards a black car waiting outside.
When he pushed you inside, he followed, slamming the door and looking around as the driver sped off.
“Why’d you save me?” You asked, your voice barely louder than a whisper. You were shaken up by what had just happened.
Suna rolled his eyes, sitting back in his seat and fixing his tie.
“Like you said,” he sighed, “love makes you do crazy things.”

a lucky encounter~
———♡———
pairing: issei matsukawa x female reader
genre: fluff, first date, one shot // 3.7k words
synopsis: when a fellow third year at fukurodani won’t leave you alone, you desperately try to find an excuse not to go to prom with him. funny enough, your perfect excuse walks by in the shape of a certain 6’2 volleyball player.
———♡———
“come on, i know you’re not going with anyone.” a man towering over you pressed his palm to your locker, caging you in and rendering you unable to make a quick escape. “go to prom with me.”
the school volleyball team walked by and gave you strange glances as they headed toward the gym. you silently pleaded for any of them to save you, but you’d never even spoken to any of them.
“come on, washio. we need to warm up.” the captain, bokuto, gave him a hard smack between his shoulders and the dark haired man flinched. he nodded at bokuto and turned back to you as the team went into the gym.
you knew you just needed to speak up and say no.
why was it so hard to do that?
“i am, actually, i uh- i have a boyfriend.” you said quietly.
“really? who?” washio gave you an amused grin, clearly not believing a single word you were saying.
you crossed your arms, trying to act as natural as possible. “he goes to a different school.”
“really.” he snorted, “what school?”
“uh-“ you paused, glancing around and could’ve sworn a lightbulb appeared over your head when you realized the volleyball team was hosting a game from another school. tall boys in teal and white uniforms walked past the two of you, not paying attention to your situation.
you nodded at them. “he goes to aoba johsai.”
“aoba johsai.” he smirked, “kinda far from here, isn’t it? this is our first time ever playing them.”
you shrugged. to be honest, you didn’t even know where the school was.
“huh.” he smiled, “well who is it? he must be on the volleyball team since you’re here, right?”
you were actually at school late because you needed private tutoring for college entrance exams. but he didn’t need to know that.
“yeah, he is,” you were getting frustrated with washio’s persistence and just wanted him to go away. it was obvious he didn’t believe you, though, and wasn’t going to stop.
as you looked away from him, a tall volleyball player from aoba johsai slowly walked down the hallway. you wondered why he’d taken longer than the rest of his team, but you took it as a sign. now or never.
“he’s right there!” you smiled, ducking under his arm to run to the taller boy. you gripped onto his arm and he practically jumped away, eyes wide with surprise when he did a double take between you and washio.
“wh-“ he opened his mouth to ask what was going on before you quickly interrupted him.
“i missed you, babe!” you smiled, standing on your tiptoes to hug him. he awkwardly returned the gesture which gave you the opportunity to whisper in his ear.
“please pretend to be my boyfriend,” you hissed, “he’s a creep and won’t leave me alone.”
you pulled away with a smile, turning to look back at washio who was completely dumbfounded.
“i missed you more.” he smiled, leaning down to give you a kiss on the forehead. he put his arm around your waist and guided you towards the gym, still speaking loud enough so washio could hear. “find a good seat, i wanna hear you cheer for me.”
“of course!” you giggled, snuggling into him. washio scoffed, walking past the two of you before heading over to the side of the gym with fukurodani’s players.
you immediately pulled away from the man. he looked down at you with a playful smirk.
“i’m so sorry, thank you so much-“ you began.
“it’s no problem.” he grinned, “go sit down. i’m already late and my captain can be a real ass.”
“oh, i don’t have-“
“you’re not gonna stay and cheer for me?” he gave you a fake pout and you laughed, nodding along to his request.
“sorry, of course i will. it’s the least i could do.”
“cool! the guys are gonna be really jealous.” he grabbed your hand and walked into the gym with you. all eyes were immediately on the two of you, washio whispering to his teammates and aoba johsai’s team staring in disbelief.
“alright, i gotta go.” he gave you a thumbs up.
“okay- wait, who am i even cheering for?” you looked lost as the only time you were ever in the gymnasium was for p.e.
“matsukawa.” he smirked, leaning in closer to you, “but if you wanna make it real believable, you can cheer for issei.”
“oh, okay then.” you smiled. he nodded towards the bleachers on the aoba johsai side of the gym.
“see ya!” he waved as he jogged towards his team.
“…bye?” you said to yourself. his teammates flooded around him in a huddle, some of them looking up at you and you were suddenly aware of how you were the center of attention. might as well get a good seat.
———♡———
walking up the bleachers on their side felt like you were at a different school. their fans and colleagues completely filled the stands. even more than your own school, and they were having the game at fukurodani.
you sat down in one of the only empty spots and pulled out your phone. it was 6pm. you were tired, and to be honest, had absolutely no idea how long volleyball games even were.
“hey, can i ask you something?” a blonde girl sitting on the bench behind you poked you on the shoulder.
“yeah, sure.” you looked back at her curiously.
she leaned in, looking back and forth before speaking quietly to you.
“are you dating matsukawa?”
who? …oh!
you let out a nervous laugh, waving your hand dismissively. “oh i wouldn’t call it that! i-“
“oh my god, look how red you are!” she squealed, pulling on the sleeve of the girl next to her. “they’re totally dating!”
“no way!” the other girl shrieked. “well, i’m sure we’ll hang out soon since i’m with oikawa.”
“he can’t be your boyfriend if he never officially asked you out.” the first girl muttered, turning to you. “i’m yuki, by the way.”
“well he is, okay! he’s just… shy.” she pouted and looked back at you. “i’m sakura.”
you introduced yourself to them, pausing before asking “which one’s oikawa?” a bit too loudly.
“what?” they both looked at you in disbelief.
“only, like, the most popular guy in school.” sakura blinked. “number 1. the captain, setter for their team. has matsukawa not introduced you to him? they’re, like, best friends.”
“oh, uh- not yet-“
“shh! it’s starting. we can’t interrupt his serves!”
the game began and you found yourself enjoying it as the night continued. you quickly leaned seijoh’s cheers, joining in with them to cheer for each of the players when the time came.
you made sure to cheer extra loud for matsukawa, who noticed and gave you a thumbs up.
when the game ended, aoba johsai had won. you noticed your school’s team looking visibly defeated. bokuto, who was the only one you knew by name other than washio, looked like he wanted to cry.
they shook hands and parted ways.
“come on!” sakura grabbed your hand, pulling you towards the stairs. “let’s go see the guys!”
“oh, we really don’t have-“
“come on, we can congratulate them on their win.” yuki smiled. you nervously went along with them, unsure of how to act once you got down there.
“congratulations on your win, boys!” the two girls called in unison near the locker room doors. you nervously stood there with your arms crossed as 4 of the players looked over to you.
“aw, is your girlfriend shy, mattsun?” oikawa sauntered over to you, tilting your head up by your chin and smiling at you. you were taken back for a minute, silently wondering if he was secretly an idol or an actor. his movie star looks were unexpected.
sakura immediately glared at the two of you. you nervously stepped back, only to feel his arm around your waist. “i don’t believe for a second that he pulled someone as pretty as you.” he whispered.
“get off of her, you freak.” a brute looking guy approached the two of you. he grabbed on to the back of oikawa’s jersey, pulling him off and away from you completely.
“aw, iwa-chan, always so noble.” oikawa teased.
“uh huh.” he muttered, turning to look at you. “nice to meet you. i’m hajime iwaizumi.”
“hi!” you smiled. you genuinely had no idea what was happening. this was going to be awkward to explain later.
“shouldn’t you be talking to someone who’s actually interested in you?” matsukawa cooed, walking up to you and putting an arm around your shoulder. he was the tallest player and his height was almost intimidating.
“what’s the fun if there’s no chase?” oikawa smirked. yuki whispered something to sakura and she finally spoke up.
“hi, toru.” she smiled.
“hm?” oikawa hadn’t even noticed the girls standing next to you. sakura looked up at him with bright eyes full of hope and was immediately shut down.
“oh, hi.” he gave a fake smile, “thanks for coming to the game. see ya later!” he waved them off and headed into the locker room, pulling iwaizumi by the wrist and muttering something in his ear as they walked side by side.
yuki and sakura said their goodbyes, clearly wanting to vacate as soon as possible. this left you and matsukawa standing alone at the gym entrance.
“so, wanna get something to eat?” he suggested.
“oh, uh, you don’t have to do that.” you smiled, “you’ve done enough. really.”
he took his arm off of your shoulder and leaned back against the wall. “i’m not asking because i feel obligated. i think you’re cool and i want to get to know you.”
your heart fluttered at his words. the way he spoke was both dominant and respectful. the latter being a trait you had yet to experience with a man.
“on second thought, sure.” you nodded. why not? you had nothing to lose at this point.
“sweet.” he grinned, “do you have a curfew?”
“not anymore. now that i’m over 18 my parents kind of just want me to fend for myself at this point.” you laughed.
“all right then. let me take a quick shower and change and we can go. do you mind waiting?” he swung his backpack over his shoulder. “i’ll be, like, 10 minutes tops.”
“oh, yeah, go for it. i have some stuff to put in my locker so i’ll meet you back here?”
“sounds good!” matsukawa excitedly jogged off to the locker room and you stood there unable to really process your evening. in a good way, though. you were excited.
for the first time in a really long time.
———♡———
“where are we going, anyway?” you asked, leaning back in the passenger seat of his car. you’d been driving for almost 45 minutes now, mindlessly chatting about yourselves and singing along to the music playing through the speakers.
“it’s kinda like a diner. lots of food choices. good milkshakes.” he leaned his left arm on the driver door with one hand on the steering wheel and you couldn’t help but admire this man who was only a stranger to you a few short hours ago.
matsukawa glanced over at you as you spaced out, letting out a small chuckle. “is that cool?”
“yeah, yeah, that sounds great.” you nodded, feeling your face get hot, “sorry, i was just thinking about something.”
“let’s be honest,” matsukawa smirked, “you were checking out these guns, weren’t you?” he winked and flexed his bicep at you and you immediately turned away.
“no! i-“
“i’m just kidding,” he snorted, “i don’t think i’d be able to live with myself if i said something like that seriously.” he leaned over, patting your knee reassuringly and placed his hand back on the steering wheel.
“by the way, if you get uncomfortable or wanna bail, i totally get it. just let me know and i’ll take you home. or even pay for a taxi to get you back.” his tone was light but you could tell he meant his words, “i’m sure it’s not a common occurrence for you to hang out with some random guy from another town so i don’t want to do anything to make you feel unsafe.”
“i’m fine, matsukawa, really.” you smiled, “where is this coming from?”
“i have a little sister and have seen how shitty and weird other guys can be. not to mention the way some of my friends act.” he rolled his eyes, “i just don’t want to be that guy.”
“i get it. i appreciate your thoughtfulness.” you noticed him pulling into a small parking lot with a cute little diner, just like he’d said.
“we’re here. don’t get out yet, okay?” he shut his car off and quickly got out. you looked around, unsure of why he wanted you to wait.
your door opened and matsukawa offered his hand to you to help you out. you graciously accepted, already feeling like you were falling prematurely out of pure appreciation for his manners.
“let’s go eat!” he said happily, putting his arm around your shoulder and leaning down to talk quietly your ear. “by the way… you can call me issei.”
———♡———
“that was good, right? did you like it?” matsukawa paid for your dinners (he insisted on paying for both), and the two of you walked back out to his car.
“it was. thank you so much.” you couldn’t lose the massive smile on your face. it felt too good to be true. he was sweet, cute, funny, and a total gentleman.
“my pleasure. i hope we can do that again.” his smile was as big as yours and you weren’t ready for the night to end yet.
“me too, i’d love to-“
you were interrupted by his phone ringing, he checked who it was, and apologetically told you it’d only be a second.
“hello? yeah, uh, i’m kinda busy tonight, really? shit, you have to go in? in 10 minutes?” he sighed, “it’d be nice if you let me know ahead of time. i’m with a friend. i can’t just bring her over… wait, i can? i- yes it’s a girl! jeez. have a good night at work.” he hung up and groaned.
“i have to go home, my mom’s gotta go into work and my sister is gonna be home alone.” he ran his hand through his hair, “i’m so sorry, that’s so lame of me. you’re totally welcome to come over, but i understand if not and i can pay for a taxi-“
“i’d love to come over.” you said as you leaned back in the front seat. he turned towards you with wide eyes.
“no way? really?” he couldn’t hide his excitement.
“sure, why not? it’s a weekend and i’m having a lot of fun. only if you’re comfortable with me coming over, though.”
“oh, yeah! of course!” he started his car, letting out a sigh of relief. “to be honest, i’m having a great time and wasn’t ready for the night to end yet. i was hoping you’d want to come over. we can watch a movie or something?” issei was very animated when he talked, and as he was speaking he subconsciously rested his hand on your knee while he drove.
“sure that sounds great.” you placed your hand on top of his and relaxed in your chair. “i was feeling the same way.”
matsukawa looked at you and made a satisfied hum, resisting the urge to do a double take at the beautiful girl who’d been taking his breath away since he laid eyes on her.
———♡———
matsukawa had made sure his sister was sleeping and the two of you went into his bedroom to watch a movie. his bedroom was big, it was the master bedroom of the house with an ensuite and everything.
he’d made an entire blanket fort on his bedroom floor. comfy pillows all over and even made popcorn.
“my mom will be home at like 3 or 4 am,” he yawned, laying down on his stomach next to you. he groaned as he stretched his body out before continuing, “so i can take you home after if you want.”
“i’m not in a rush. are you sore?” you glanced over and he nodded.
“always get really sore after a good game. we played well but man it takes its toll.” he sighed, “i guess that’s the price to pay.”
“you just need a good massage.” you smiled, feeling a bit daring. the late night and building feelings were making you feel… impulsive.
“want me to give you one?”
he turned back to look at you. “one what? a massage? hell yeah! i mean, if you want.” he tried to tone down his excitement.
you giggled at his reaction and straddled his lower back, sitting down on him.
“okay, just relax.”
you started at his neck and worked your way down his shoulders, you rubbed into his muscles carefully and he made small noises to let you know how good it felt.
“you were so tense.” you murmured, leaning in close to him.
“mmh- well, i’m definitely not anymore.” he let out a weak laugh, sighing and resting his head on the pillow. “feels so good.”
“glad i could help.” you said quietly, moving your hands under his shirt to rub his back directly on his skin. his skin was warm, very soft and you could tell how toned his back was just from touching it.
you finished giving him a massage and he’d pretty much turned into a puddle of bliss. the stress on his body gone in just a few minutes and it was such a relief.
“thank you,” he smiled. you laid down on your stomach next to him, the two of you turning your heads to face each other.
“my pleasure.” you smiled back.
matsukawa let out a happy hum, studying your face carefully before resting his palm on your cheek.
“i just wanted to thank you for choosing me.” he said softly, “you could’ve picked any of the idiots on my team to save you from that dude and somehow ended up with me. and now here we are after spending the entire evening together.”
you nodded into his palm, resting your hand on top of his.
“i’m happy it was you who happened to be there. the right person, in the right place, at the right time.”
“maybe we should just date for real.” he said casually. your eyes widened at his boldness. you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t hoped he’d say something like that, but it was still something that made your heart race hearing it out loud.
you softened your gaze and smiled at the man in front of you. the kind, respectful man that you just wanted to spend more time with.
“i’d be cool with that.” you replied quietly.
“yeah?” he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear, “let’s do it, then.”
you gazed into each other’s eyes and you leaned in closer to him.
“a gentleman isn’t supposed to kiss on the first date.” he whispered playfully, his lips barely an inch away from yours.
you looked into his eyes with an equally playful smirk. “that’s too bad. i’ve been hoping you would all night.”
“hmm,” issei pulled you closer, pressing his lips to yours. his hand travelled down your side and pulled you against his chest. “i suppose i can make an exception.”
you giggled against his lips, bringing your hands up to tangle in his hair. “well aren’t i lucky, then?”
“hah,” matsukawa pulled away for a second, silently appreciating your beauty once again. he sighed, pressing his forehead to yours before giving you another soft kiss. “and here i was thinking that same thing… ever since i laid eyes on you.”

good morning~
———♡———
pairing: hajime iwaizumi x female reader
genre: FLUFF, just fluff, domestic iwaizumi being soft for his gf, mutual teasing and silliness, suggestive at the end but nothing explicit :)
synopsis: just as the title says, waking up next to your man and your little morning sweetness~
———♡———
you opened your eyes to the soft morning light pouring into your boyfriend’s bedroom.
you squinted at your phone screen, noticing it was only 7am. he wouldn’t be up for at least another hour.
hajime’s typically brute and serious expression was nowhere to be found. he slept soundly, peacefully, with his hair sticking up in every direction and no hint of stress on his face.
you reached out, cradling his cheek in your hand and rubbing your thumb over his soft skin.
hajime sighed, snuggling in closer to the pillow and fell into an even deeper sleep.
so sweet, you thought to yourself.
you were so thankful you could see this side of him.
you stretched and decided to get up, briefly debating between cooking something for breakfast or picking something up.
you quietly stepped into his ensuite bathroom to freshen up. when you leaned down to spit the toothpaste in the sink, you felt two large hands glide down your sides.
“mm,” you sighed, standing up and pressing your back into his bare chest. “i’m sorry if i woke you up.”
“no, no.” he reassured you, wrapping his arms around your waist and hugging you from behind. “woke up on my own, reached out for you but you weren’t there. i was just checking to see if you were still here.”
“of course i’m still here.” you looked back at him and kissed his cheek. “i wouldn’t leave without at least saying goodbye.”
“good.” he smiled, nodding towards the bathroom mirror. “look.”
you turned back to look at your reflection. hajime’s arms were wrapped around you, lovingly and protectively, and his chin resting on your shoulder.
“look at what? my messy morning hair?” you joked. iwaizumi gave you a small chuckle and shook his head.
“nope.” he started to kiss your cheek, peppering kisses down your face and neck. you started to blush at the sudden intimacy and he pulled back with a satisfied smirk.
“look how flustered you get for me.” he murmured, “you’re so cute.”
you covered his hands with yours, studying the way his biceps curved perfectly around your body and soaking in the warmth of his bare skin.
“we’re a pretty cute couple, don’t you think?” iwaizumi was full on smiling now, squeezing his arms around you tighter.
“i’d say so.” you replied sweetly. you turned around in his arms, wrapping them around his neck and he instinctively picked you up, sitting you down on the bathroom counter.
iwaizumi pressed his forehead against yours, both of you at eye level. he looked into your eyes and sighed, this man was completely smitten for you. the pure definition of lovesick.
“i love you so much.” he whispered before pressing his lips to yours. “you have no idea.”
“i love you too, hajime.” you ran your fingers through his hair and softly scratched his scalp. he leaned into your touch like a dog being pet, enjoying the feeling with a quiet groan. “what’s gotten into you today?”
“what do you mean?” he pulled back, the smile slightly changing into an expression of amusement. “i’m always like this.”
“no, usually you’re like-“ you gave him a stern look, flexing your arms at him and lowering your voice. “look out everyone, big bad iwaizumi is here and ready to kick your ass.”
iwaizumi burst out laughing, holding his hand up to you and clutching his stomach. “i do not act like that!”
“you’re right, it’s more like-“ you jumped off the counter, crossing your arms and rolling your eyes.
“you’re soooo annoying, shittykawa. you’re the worst!” you tried to imitate his voice again, but ended up giggling through the last few words, “even though in private you call him by his first name and the two of you are always laughing so loud together i’m worried the neighbours will complain.”
iwaizumi nodded in amusement. “yes. for good reason.” he leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. “his ego’s too big and he needs to be humbled.”
“fair enough.” you walked back into the bedroom and flopped on the bed. iwaizumi followed you, crawling on top of you and caging your head between his arms.
“for the record, sweetheart, i’ve never actually kicked anyone’s ass.” you looked at him with surprise, wrapping your legs around him and flipping the two of you over so you were sitting on top of him.
“really?” you gave him a devilish grin, “big tough iwa-chan is even softer than i thought he was?”
iwaizumi snorted. “oh god, please don’t call me that.”
you leaned down, scrunching your nose at him and looking into his eyes. “and? what are you gonna do about it?”
“you’re in rare form today, huh?” he studied your face for a second before pulling you down further to press his lips to yours. “keep teasing and this” he pulled his hand back before giving your ass a hard smack, “will be the first ass i do kick.”
“so i got to take your actual virginity, and now i get your ass kicking virginity? i’m honoured.” you bit your lip to keep from laughing out loud.
“oh my god.” iwaizumi was blushing as soon as the words left your mouth. he gently tossed you off of him, trying to talk between fits of laughter. “i can’t stand you.”
you happily got out of bed, holding your hand out to him so you could get up together. “sorry, am i teasing too much?”
iwaizumi shook his head as he stood up, towering over you. “that’s up to you to figure out. keep it up and see what happens.”
now it was your turn to blush, your face feeling hotter with every touch as his big hands explored your body and he kissed down your neck.
“mmh-” you whined, his hands slowly moving closer and closer to exactly where you wanted them. he let out an amused hum against your neck and sucked a small spot into your skin. your hands ran along his toned abdomen and you pulled yourself closer to him.
“haji- ahh!” you yelped as he immediately pulled away and gave your ass another hard smack. “what was that for?!”
“patience is a virtue, darling.” he teased back, “we have the entire day and no plans, just wait.”
“i’m done teasing! come back here!” you crossed your arms and he continued to the door and headed into the kitchen.
“nope!” he called to you as you headed towards him, “you started it. now sit down and let’s have breakfast.”
“fine.” you muttered, sitting down at the table.
iwaizumi walked over to you and gave you another kiss, rubbing slow circles into your lower back. “love you.”
you kissed him back happily, unable to keep up the pouty act.
“love you too.”

remember.
----♡----
pairing: rintaro suna x female reader.
genre: yandere, dark, light romance. // one shot, 4k words.
synopsis: abusive relationships can seem impossible to leave. when you open up to a classmate, your life takes a dramatic turn in the best and worst ways imaginable.
content warnings: assault, domestic abuse (not from suna), descriptions of violence, yandere themes.
----♡----
“hey, kid.” suna’s voice caught your attention as you passed by him in the university corridor. he was quiet, only speaking loud enough for you to hear right as you were walking by.
“hey, rintaro.” you stopped for a moment, refusing to look up at the tall man towering over you.
“i haven’t seen you in a while. everything okay?” he leaned against the wall and clutched a textbook to his chest. “you haven’t even been to class. kinda been missing my project partner.”
“you got my work though, right?” you asked him, partially covering your face with your hair. “i emailed it to you.”
“i did.”
“okay… good.” you cleared your throat, awkwardly shuffling and offering a suspiciously sudden goodbye.
“hey, wait-" suna grabbed your wrist to keep you from leaving. the small amount of pressure more than enough on your deep bruise to make you wince.
suna noticed your pained expression and immediately let go, stepping back.
“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to hurt you. i just wanted to ask you if-“
“it’s okay!” you interrupted, knowing you’d already spoken to him for too long. you needed to get out of there before anyone noticed. “you didn’t hurt me. sorry, i have to go. bye!”
your behaviour was erratic. your speech was rushed; forced and strained with every word as you tried your best to appear normal.
unfortunately it was much harder to pretend everything was okay than you’d originally thought it’d be.
you quickly turned and headed down the hallway to drop off the assignments to your other professor. the last one you’d have to see for the day before heading home. you were almost there. so close you might not even run into him.
you’d hoped, anyway.
----♡----
after seeing your professor, you walked out into the fresh evening air. the cold stinging your cheeks and the wind pushing your hair out of your face.
your cheeks burned from the freezing air, but it was your black eye was that hurt the most.
“i’m sorry, i just lost my temper.” his words echoed in your head, “you shouldn’t have pissed me off.”
you nodded, essentially agreeing with him. it’s true, if he didn’t get mad, he wouldn’t have hit you. and why was he mad? because of something you did. so really, it was your own fault.
you were the one apologizing to him that night. doing anything you could to make it up to him. all of this with a deep purple bruise forming on your face.
when he finally left your dorm and went back to his, you were mentally exhausted. you fell asleep and woke up right before your second class of the day.
he had started forcing you to miss classes, to do everything at home and only go in to submit your work. this was for two reasons.
the first, you could spend more time with him due to your schedules. if yours was freed then you’d have more time together.
the second was to stop you from talking to other men. completely.
...and then he found out suna was your lab partner.
“i don’t want you working with him.”
“i have to. the professor is the one who chooses.”
“then work from home and submit the stuff online. that guy is a manipulator. he’s dangerous and will take advantage of you. i just know it.”
you’d never gotten that type of vibe from suna, but you obeyed your boyfriend because you didn’t want to know what would happen if you didn’t.
secretly, though, you missed class. you missed working with him. laughing, getting to know each other. he’d become a good friend over the past year and since you had the same majors, you two shared quite a few classes.
he was calm. funny and quiet, but definitely not timid. his energy made him come off tough, but not scary. if anything, he made you feel… safe.
just for those few hours you had together.
and whenever class would end, you found yourself missing that feeling.
----♡----
“i have to go to class tomorrow.” you said, refusing to make eye contact with your boyfriend who’d invited himself over to your dorm.
just like he does every. single. night.
“why? you gonna go talk to that suna guy?” he approached you, giving you a terrifying smile that you know wasn’t coming from a place of happiness.
“yuji… please.” your words were barely a whisper when you felt his fingers wrap around your throat. “my professor told me i need to start going. my grades are falling behind.”
his fingers tapped rhythmically against your skin. dancing skillfully as he toyed with the idea of choking you. you held your breath, expecting the worst.
“you should try harder.” he growled, digging his fingertips into your neck and you clenched your eyes closed. “get your grades back up so you don’t have to spend any more time with that guy.”
“okay, okay!” you grabbed onto his wrist and his eyes widened. “i will! i’ll get my grades up so i don’t need to see him anymore.”
“good girl.” he smiled, the evil expression he’d previously worn had melted away into a false image of a kind man. “always listening so well for me.”
yuji leaned in and kissed you. you kissed back, barely, but just enough for him to be satisfied and leave you alone.
“time for me to go.” he sighed as he heard the dorm advisor do a final walk through to knock on the doors and let the students know it was time for guests to leave.
“see you tomorrow?” he asked, tilting your chin up to look at him.
“sure…” you whispered. you trembled under his touch and wanted nothing more than for him to leave your sight.
“good. it’s a date.” he said happily and gave you another kiss, practically skipping down the hallway back to his own room.
you shut and locked your door, desperately wishing that was the last time you’d ever have to see him.
----♡----
“well, well, well.” suna cooed as you took your seat next to him. “as i live and breathe, i never thought i’d see the day. you finally made it to class.”
you nodded and pulled out your books.
“had to. my grades are slipping.” you sighed, looking around at the science classroom. “what are we doing today?”
“lab day.” suna said as he nudged an instruction sheet towards you. “should we put on our coats and get to it?”
“okay...”
you started to have an internal panic attack. your wrists were as bruised as the black eye you were hiding behind your hair.
suna stepped away to get your lab coats.
this would all be visible, and you didn’t want suna (or anyone) to see any of it.
you nervously approached your professor and she looked up at you with a disinterested stare.
“ma’am, i need to be excused from class today.”
“absolutely not.” she scoffed, “unless you want to fail my class, which i know you can’t afford to do, you’ll stay and do your lab.”
you opened your mouth to reply but she kept speaking.
“go put up your hair, roll up your sleeves and get your lab coat on. you should be thankful you have such a competent partner.” she crossed her arms, leaning back in her chair, “actually, i think the two of you should spend some time together. he’s my top student and you definitely need some tutoring.”
“i don’t think that’s necessary-“
“mr. suna, come up here please.”
suna walked up with a confused look, unsure as to why he was being brought in to the conversation.
“something i can help with?” he asked.
“yes,” the professor smiled, “i’d like the two of you to do tutoring sessions a minimum of twice a week, an hour each time. could you do that?”
“oh, sure. i don’t mind.” he smiled, “was that all? we should get to our assignment.”
you felt backed in to a wall. of course you were okay with this, you enjoyed spending time with suna.
unfortunately, you were terrified of the repercussions.
even worse, there was nothing you could do about it.
when you got back to your table, you put your hair up and silently thought of a plan. keep your head down, don’t make eye contact. maybe he wouldn’t notice.
you rolled up your sleeves and put on your white coat. it was barely long enough to hit your wrists, but did a decent job of hiding the bruises.
the first half of the lab went well. suna explained things in a way that made it easy to comprehend and you were genuinely enjoying yourself.
until you completely forgot.
you began to pour the green liquid into the tube. suna was writing his lab report when he looked up and noticed your mistake.
“oh, hey,” he stood up, putting his hand over yours to tilt the container back up. “you need to pour it slower, like this.”
when it started to pour just as he’d wanted, he let go and you found yourself missing the brief comfort of his touch.
“good job! you did it.” suna smiled and you looked up at him with an excited expression. finally. finally you were getting something right.
when the two of you made eye contact, his smile immediately dropped into a look of concern.
“what happened to your eye?”
“oh,” you stepped back, covering it with your hand. “i fell.”
suna carefully held onto your wrist and you winced in pain. his intentions were to move your hand away from your eye, but he took immediate notice of your reaction and pushed your sleeve down.
the bruises in the shape of fingerprints stained your skin a deep purple.
“what about here?” he stepped closer. you tried to read his expression but he looked completely emotionless.
“from the same fall, i’m just clumsy.”
“and your neck?”
suna pushed back your lab coat to see the same fingerprint bruises scattered around your neck.
you were suddenly thankful you’d chosen the table in the far back end of the classroom. nobody was ever watching.
“yeah.” you said, practically a whisper. “i’m just really clumsy.”
suna leaned down and looked into your eyes.
“why don’t i believe you?”
“five more minutes!” the professor called, interrupting your intense conversation and the two of you snapped back into action.
you finished your lab report and quickly packed up your stuff before rushing out the classroom door.
suna followed closely behind.
“it’s your boyfriend, isn’t it?”
you stopped dead in your tracks and turned around to look at him. suna’s expression was no longer emotionless. he was angry.
“okay,” you sighed, grabbing his wrist to pull him to a secluded space outside. the two of you sat down under a large tree, away from everyone else.
“yuji gets upset with me and… hurts me… sometimes.” you choked out. “i haven’t told anyone because i’m scared of what he’ll do to me. i haven’t left him because i’m scared of him. i’m stuck.”
you hadn’t said these words out loud to anyone, ever, and the way they were flowing so freely had you crying before you were even aware of it.
“please don’t tell anyo-“
“i’ll take care of it.”
you looked up at him. suna looked completely calm, his voice smooth and gaze held on you.
“what do you mean?”
suna stood up and ran his hands through his hair.
“i mean i’ll take care of it.” he smiled, “see you tomorrow afternoon for tutoring?”
“wait, suna-“
“later!” he gave you a passive wave before walking back towards the university building.
----♡----
that evening you waited for yuji to come by your dorm, but he never did.
you waited for him to call you, but he didn’t.
you worried about what suna had meant. maybe he was going to talk to him, maybe even threaten him. you’d hoped he wouldn’t do that, but you really didn’t know what he was capable of.
surely the rumours about him couldn’t be true. an honour's chemistry major being involved in a more sinister, underground group that nobody even knew if it was real or made up?
he was too nice. there was no way.
----♡----
after class you headed back to your dorm to get ready for your evening. suna had asked you to meet him under the same tree from the day before. around 7pm.
you debated on calling yuji, but ultimately decided against it. maybe he’d come to his senses. maybe he was remorseful, and just wanted to move on. to leave you alone and pretend your relationship never happened.
that was what you wished for the most.
----♡----
you stepped out into the cold evening air. the wind blowing softly and brushing the hair out of your face.
you clutched your books to your chest and took a short cut through the back fields separating the dorms from the main university campus.
you checked your phone, you were early. suna would be there in about 15 minutes.
you reached down to grab your phone when it was immediately snatched from your hands.
“you did this, didn’t you?” a familiar voice snapped at you. you glanced up to see yuji, sporting a similar black eye and a bandaged cut on his cheek.
“i- no, of course not!”
he rolled his eyes at your reply, clearly not willing to listen to a word you were saying. yuji grabbed your wrists, forcing you to drop your books and pushed you against the back wall of the university.
“you did. tell me right now. everything you said. who you said it to. and why.” the look in his eyes was horrifying. scarier than any other look he’s given you before.
this made it seem like his previous bouts of anger were nothing but minor inconveniences.
“i didn’t-“
yuji pulled back, immediately hitting your chin with a hard punch that knocked your head back into the concrete wall.
“try again.”
your vision was hazy. mind blurring memories together and you couldn’t even form a proper sentence.
you felt a warm, wet sensation cascading down the back of your neck and were immediately soothed by the feeling. the warmth was comfortable, even though you didn’t know what it was from.
yuji’s hand wrapped around your throat and he pressed his forehead to yours. his fingers dug roughly into your windpipe, causing you to choke out the remaining air in your lungs. you felt yourself get sleepy, closing your eyes and letting darkness overtake you as your body went limp.
----♡----
“hey, wake up.”
snapping fingers in your face had you looking around curiously. you couldn’t focus on your surroundings. it was unclear who was with you, unclear what was happening around you, and unclear why you were there.
the sounds of multiple men. grunting, panting. speaking quietly between deep breaths and harsh exertion.
what were they doing?
“hey.” the fingers snapped in front of your face again.
“what…” was all you could manage to say. your body felt heavy. weak. you were just so tired. all you wanted to do was fall asleep. you submitted to the exhaustion, closing your eyes again.
“don’t go to sleep.” a soothing voice lifted the back of your neck, pressing something soft against your head. “stay awake and listen to me.”
“ya like beatin’ up girls, huh?”
whack
“wanna put a girl half your size in the hospital, for what? to feel like more of a man?”
whack
“a real man would never hit a woman.”
whack
“a real man would beat the shit out of losers who do hit women, right ‘tsum?”
“right. maybe we’ll even put him in the hospital.”
whack
whack
“oh, he’s gonna be there once we’re done.”
you finally recognized the last voice. it was suna.
he spoke again, his voice raspy and dark but still audible from where you were.
“i hope to fucking god you didn’t hurt her so badly that she’s knocked out…” suna trailed off and let out a small chuckle. “because there’s nothing i want more than for her to hear you cry like a little bitch when this blade goes right…”
the sound of yuji’s sudden scream was immediately muffled by what you were sure was the hand of the other man.
“…through you.”
your eyes widened and you were starting to understand what was happening.
all you could feel around you was danger.
you started to hyperventilate. panic was taking over.
“focus on me. come on, we need to get out of here.”
“who…” your head started to hurt now. badly.
“my name is osamu.” he bent down and cradled you in his arms, bringing you close to his chest and picking you up bridal style. “hold on to me if you can.”
“i’m scared…” you whispered.
“i know.” he murmured, carrying you away from the scene and back through the field. “i’ll keep you safe. we need to go to the hospital.”
“what about…”
“the only thing you need to worry about is stayin’ awake right now, okay? it’ll all be okay.” osamu’s voice was soothing. his body was warm and his strong arms supported your body in a way that made you never want to leave his hold.
you gave him a weak nod. even if you wanted to get away, you couldn’t. so you decided to trust in this man and hope for the best.
----♡----
“hey, sweetheart.” the calm voice of a nurse slowly woke you up. “you’re finally awake.”
“where…” you choked out, your throat was dry and you could barely make out where you were. it was all so… confusing.
“you’re in the hospital.” she said as she stood on her tiptoes to change the fluids on your iv pole. “you were assaulted. your injuries aren’t good but you’ll make a full recovery.”
the nurse leaned back down and held onto your hand. “you have a real knight in shining armour, you know. your boyfriend hasn’t left your side since you were admitted. he’s going to be so happy when he finds out you woke up.”
boyfriend?
your heart started to race at the thought of yuji coming in. you looked around, preparing for the worst when you heard footsteps enter the room.
“hey, sleepyhead.”
“speak of the devil.” the nurse smiled, giving your hand a squeeze. “i’ll let you two have some privacy. please press the call button if you need anything, i’ll come back and check on you soon.”
the footsteps grew closer and you heard the squeak of a chair being pulled up next to your bed. you opened your eyes to see suna giving you a compassionate smile.
“rintaro?” you whispered, “what are you doing here?”
“making sure you’re okay.” he crossed his arms, “been here since you were admitted.”
you tried your hardest to remember even coming to the hospital, but you just couldn’t. everything was gone after your head hit that wall.
“what… happened?” you asked, your eyes pleading for him to be honest.
“someone attacked you and your boyfriend.” suna leaned in, “do you not remember anything?”
“i remember yuji being upset with me…” you blinked, your mind working as hard as it could to remember something of importance. “my head hit the wall and it’s kind of fuzzy after that.”
“i see.” suna nodded.
“wait, how did you know i was in here?”
“some people mentioned an attack on campus. i got worried when you were late for our study session, and when your phone rang and you didn’t answer i felt like something was up.” he shrugged, taking a moment to think of his next words. “i called the hospital and asked if you were here, and then came right over when they confirmed it.”
“oh. okay…” you went to scratch an itch on your scalp and were met with searing pain at the slightest bit of pressure. “ow!”
“careful.” he smiled, taking your hand away from your head. “it’s gonna be sore for a while.”
“yeah…” you trailed off, trying to make sense of the situation. “what happened to yuji?”
“why do you care?”
“huh?” you glanced at suna who’s expression had turned sour.
“why do you care about what happened to him? he could've killed you.”
“i just wanted to know if he…” your voice was shaky and you tried to compose yourself. “if there was a possibility of him coming after me again.”
“not a single chance.” suna leaned over the railing of the hospital bed and took your hand. “besides, even if there was, i won’t let anything happen to you.”
----♡----
you’d found out yuji had suffered from severe injuries almost taking his life. he was beaten, stabbed, and his spinal cord suffered so much damage he was permanently paralyzed from the waist down.
while you were relieved the abuse would be over, you constantly wondered who had assaulted him.
you remembered telling suna and him saying he’d take care of it, surely that wasn’t him, right? there was no way suna could do something like that.
----♡----
months went by while you recovered from your injuries. you’d been discharged from the hospital after 3 weeks, and suna had stuck by your side every day.
“i’m happy to say you’ve essentially made a full recovery.” the doctor smiled, shaking your hand. “i’m so proud of your progress. you’re truly a walking miracle.”
“what about my memory?” you asked, “when will i remember what happened?”
“oh, you might not ever remember. you hit your head hard and from what we gather, you were unconscious.” the doctor stood up, clutching his clip board before walking out. “it’s probably for the best that you don’t remember what happened. you should focus on moving on, now. take care.”
----♡----
“well, should we celebrate?” suna asked as you walked out of the hospital together. you stopped, causing him to turn and look down at you. “what’s up?”
“i just wanted to say thank you…” you said, feeling your face getting hot. “i don’t think i could’ve done this without you.”
“you could’ve. you’re the strongest person i’ve ever met.” he leaned down, brushing the hair out of your face. the same hair that used to cover the deep bruises, now showing your true complexion. “and the most beautiful.”
you felt your heart flutter at his sudden compliment. suna’s hands found your waist and you instinctively draped your arms over his shoulders.
“you really mean that?” you asked, looking into his eyes.
“of course i do.” he smiled, leaning in to give you the long awaited kiss the two of you had been dying for. his lips were soft and you melted into his arms. he pulled away, resting his forehead on yours. “beautiful in every possible way.”
you felt tears well up as you were being complimented. the sweetest, kindest, most handsome man touching you so delicately and speaking to you with nothing but respect.
you'd completely fallen in love with him, and it was everything you ever could’ve asked for.
----♡----
a few weeks after the two of you made it official, your honeymoon phase was in full force. you couldn’t keep your hands off of each other. you were experiencing your first true relationship that made you feel loved and you cherished at every moment.
one evening, you decided to go to suna’s dorm to surprise him.
knock knock
“rintaro?” you called out, opening the door to let yourself in. “are you home?”
“in here, baby.” he replied from the kitchen. he was sharing an apartment style dorm with two other men, but you hadn’t met them yet. they weren’t ever there when you were.
“we finally get to meet your girl, huh?” one of them cooed as you walked in. he had dyed blonde hair and smirked at you as you walked by. “damn, she’s a looker, huh ‘samu?”
samu… why did that sound familiar?
“don’t be such a pig.” the other boy replied. you realized they were twins when he stood up and walked over to you. he smiled, holding out his hand. “nice to meet ya, i’m osamu.”
osamu.
no.
“my name is osamu…”
it couldn’t be.
“…hold on to me if you can.”
no, no, no.
the memories of the night of the assault came flooding back to you.
it only took a moment to realize...
...it wasn’t a random assault at all.

“Osamu!” You screeched, attempting to push your older brother off of you. “Get him off!”
Atsumu had tackled you to the ground and was sitting on your back, cackling with satisfaction as he pinned you down.
“I can’t help ya.” Osamu smirked as he walked by. He sat on the couch adjacent to you and Atsumu with an amused glimmer in his eyes. “Shouldn’t have eaten his pudding.”
“Why do you care if I eat his pudding?!” You growled, thrashing around under Atsumu to get some kind of leverage while he sat on you with all of his weight, rendering your limbs useless.
“If you eat his pudding, then he eats mine.” Osamu shrugged, “And I hate it when he does that.”
“Take it up with him! I just grabbed whatever was closest. You guys are so weird with your labeled food!” You tried to throw a punch at Atsumu and he caught your fist easily, snickering when you let out a loud whine. “Atsumu, get OFF!”
“No can do, kiddo.” He grinned, “Ya know what happens when you eat our food.”
“I’m gonna tell mom.” You mumbled.
“That’s dirty. Don’t bring mom into this.” Osamu interrupted and you shot a death glare at him.
“Stop involving yourself! I don’t need your commentary.”
“Don’t be such a tattle tale.” Atsumu teased, finally easing up on you and taking a bit of the weight off of your back. You gasped dramatically as you could finally take a full, deep breath.
“Thank you, god. You’re heavy.” You said quietly, deciding to fully submit and just lay down on the living room floor.
“Did you just call me fat?!” Atsumu gasped, crawling over to your face to look you in the eyes.
“Yes.” You nodded. Atsumu immediately turned to Osamu, who burst out laughing at his offended expression.
“Laugh it up, ‘Samu. If I’m fat then so are you.” Atsumu muttered as he finally stood up to take a seat next to Osamu on the couch.
“I can’t stand either of you.” You mumbled, grabbing a pillow and throwing it at them.
“Why’s baby Miya throwing a temper tantrum?” A familiar, monotone voice was coming from the entry way. You hadn’t even heard him come in.
“None of your business, Suna.” You glared at the tall boy. He responded with a crooked smirk while he walked in with his hands plunged deep in his pockets.
Suna was over at your house almost every day. He also teased you as much as your brothers did, if not more.
“Jeez, what’s with the attitude?” He snorted, “You sound like Atsumu. I swear you’re triplets.”
Suna jumped over the back of the couch and plopped down between the twins. You sat up, looking at the three of them for a second before getting up and retreating to your room.
“Aw, come on baby Miya. Where are you going?” Suna called after you while you walked down the hallway.
“I need to get ready. I’m going out tonight.”
You retreated to your bedroom and sat down at your vanity. Before you could even pull out a hair brush, Osamu had burst into your bedroom.
“Where ya going?” He asked, leaning against the doorway.
“Out?” You replied, getting up to sift through your closet for something to wear.
Your friend had set you up on a blind date tonight. Your mom had held your brothers back a year and since you were only 10 months apart, you were all in the same year. This meant you all had the same classmates, knew all of the same people, and they were constantly in your business.
When your friend had told you about this guy, he sounded too good to be true. He had gone to another school that was a bit further away, but since you had all graduated a few months prior you figured a bit of distance wasn’t that big of a deal. After all, you were all adults now.
“Out where?” Atsumu asked, pushing the door open all the way and standing against the other side of the frame.
“On a date…” you muttered. The moment you said that, your brothers came in and promptly sat on your bed.
“Where are you going?”
“With who?”
“Where did you meet him?”
“How old is he?”
“Is he picking you up?”
“How long have you known him for?”
“Oh my god.” You groaned, pointing at your door. “Can you guys get out? I need to get ready. Why are you asking so many questions?”
“Believe it or not, kiddo, we just want to make sure you’re safe.” Osamu said, standing up and walking over to pat you on your head.
“Ugh, ‘Samu, you guys don’t have to treat me like a kid still. I’m an adult now, you know.” You said, crossing your arms.
“But you’ll always be our little sister.” Atsumu smiled. “Mom can’t keep track of all of us all the time. So we need to do it for her.” His words were genuine. Even though the three of you bickered and teased each other, you were protective of each other. You knew your brothers would do anything for you.
You’d never tell them, but you’d do anything for them, too.
“If anyone needs keeping track of, it’s you two.” You smirked. Atsumu rolled his eyes and Osamu shrugged you off.
Your brothers tried to pry more information out of you, but you only told them the bare minimum. After all, you barely even knew anything. You didn’t even know his name.
“So? Where’s she going?” Suna asked as the twins came back into the living room. He was sprawled out on the couch and flicking through the tv channels.
“That restaurant downtown. The one a few bus stops before your house.” Atsumu said with crossed arms. “She won’t let us drive her.”
“I’ll take the bus with her.” Suna shrugged, “It’s on the way, so I’ll make sure she gets there safely.”
“Good. Then you can tell us who she’s meetin’ there.” Osamu smirked.
Whether or not Osamu had asked, Suna was planning on finding that out regardless.
“Call is if you need anythin’!” Atsumu called to you as you walked to the door.
“We’ll come! Just call us, okay?” Osamu added.
“I’ll be fine, but thanks. I’ll text you when I’m on my way home.” You said loud enough for them to hear you in the other room. “Love you.”
“Love ya!” They replied in unison.
“Are you sure you’re not just spying on me?” You mumbled just loud enough for Suna to hear you from the seat behind you.
“Just decided to go home, baby Miya.” He replied, leaning forward. “Why? Do you want me to spy on you?”
“No!” You turned around and squinted your eyes at him. He looked back at you with a playful smirk and then went back to paying attention to his phone.
You got off the bus and hesitated for a moment, half expecting Suna to get off after you.
Except he didn’t.
You sighed, feeling the nerves creeping up and realizing you really were all alone now. Meeting a man you didn’t know, and unsure of what to expect.
You looked around and pulled out your phone to check the message from your friend again to refresh yourself on the characteristics of your blind date.
Dark hair, about 5’10, dark green eyes, ah-
“Miya, is it?” A man fitting the exact description was standing in front of you, a rose in hand and suspicious smirk across his lips.
“Yes, sorry, what’s your name?” Your voice was trembling and you had no idea why. You chalked it up to nerves, but it might’ve been the uneasiness you’d felt when you made eye contact with him.
“Daishou Suguru.” He said melodically. He handed you the rose and lightly pressed his hand to your lower back. “Shall we go inside? I have a table for us.”
You nodded, walking inside with him.
——
“So, Miya, any relation to those twins?” He asked, leaning in with his chin on his palm. He stared at you intently as if he wanted to soak in every word you were about to say.
“Oh, yeah. They’re my brothers.” You smiled. Even though they irritated you, you always liked to talk about them. You were proud of your brothers and all of their accomplishments, and talking about them was easier than having to come up with things to say about yourself.
“Ah,” Daishou nodded, thanking the server as she passed your dishes to the two of you. “Those two are real shit talkers, huh?”
“Yeah,” you laughed, a bit too casually for the occasion and realized you’d never even heard this guy’s name prior to tonight. “Wait, why do you say that?”
You were familiar with pretty much all of the volleyball players that your brothers had faced off against. Inarizaki’s own team were like family, but the other teams were around so often you’d gotten to know quite a few of the players from other schools just by going to the games and tournaments.
“Played against them once.” Daishou mumbled, the previously warm expression in his eyes was gone. “I don’t know which one I hate more. The mouthy setter or the spiker with the ego.”
You got goosebumps when he spoke these words. These weren’t normal rivalry grudges. This sounded like pure, unprecedented hatred.
You started to feel uncomfortable.
You hummed in acknowledgement. You weren’t sure how to reply, but you wanted him to know you’d heard him and were listening.
“So, how are you going to make it up to me?” Daishou asked. You froze, looking up at him.
His previously cold expression was warm again, cheeks round with a big smile. “I’m kidding.”
“Oh,” you giggled nervously and decided to focus on eating your dinner.
The rest of the evening went by okay. Little comments like that would have you unsure if there were ulterior motives, but when you’d try to look into it you’d see a happy smile from your date. Maybe he really was just joking, and was nervously trying to make you laugh.
When it was time to go, Daishou paid for the both of you and you left the restaurant together.
It was dark outside and pouring rain. You sighed, looking down the street at the empty bus stop. The bus wouldn’t be coming for another 20 minutes.
“Let me wait with you for the bus.” He smiled, wrapping an arm around your waist again. “I wouldn’t want you out here all alone.”
You reluctantly accepted but tried to keep your distance. While his arm was around you, your arms were crossed and you were trying to stay as far from him as possible. Something was off, and you wanted to get as far away from him as quickly as possible.
You sent your brothers a quick text to let them know which bus you’d be on.
“Let’s wait over here. Out of the rain.”
Before you could reply, he grabbed your hand and yanked you down a small alley. It was covered by the overhead of the buildings roof, but was pitch black.
“I had a nice time tonight.” Daishou purred, pressing his body against you and trapping you against the cold brick wall.
“Yeah, me too…” You said quietly.
Only a few more minutes.
Daishou leaned down, trailing his hand up your chest and wrapping his long fingers around your throat. Your breath hitched and you felt tears well up in your eyes. You knew something was wrong. You knew something was going to happen. Your gut feeling was never wrong.
You tensed up, preparing to punch him the moment you felt pressure from his fingers. Instead of choking you, however, his hand rested gingerly on your skin and he leaned down to kiss you.
You kissed back, completely uninterested but not wanting him to know that.
“So, you are easy.” He smirked against your lips. He grabbed your hands and held them against the wall. His tongue started to force its way into your mouth and as you tried to break away, his body pressed into you harder, making you unable to move.
“Please stop,” you whimpered, “I don’t- I don’t want this.”
“Just relax.” He dug his fingers into your wrist, holding both of your hands together with just one of his, and using his free hand to move down your body and fondle your chest.
“Daishou- I-“ you gasped when he bit down on your neck. It didn’t feel good at all, and was just a swearing pain.
“You know, it really is a shame that you’re related to those two.” He muttered against your skin. “You’re a pretty girl. Probably would’ve liked you had your shitty brothers not have been such dicks.”
“Please, please just get off-“ You sniffled. You fought your brothers all the time, so why couldn’t you get him off? Why were you tensing up? Why were you crying? Just push him off, just push and run.
“Shut up.” He muttered. He slipped his hand into your pants and you let out a sob.
“No, no! Get off of me! Stop!” You were crying now, your voice getting louder as you attempted to break from his hold.
Unfortunately, he was just too strong for you. He smacked you across the face and pressed his palm to your mouth.
“I told you to shut up.” He growled. “Blame the twins for this.”
You were sobbing now. Completely terrified as this man assaulted your body in this dark alley and all you could think about was how badly you wanted to get out of there. How badly you wished your brothers had spied on you, how much you wanted them to protect you in that moment.
Daishou glared at you as your wails got louder, pulling back and slapping you across the face so hard you thought you were seeing stars.
“That’s what happens when stupid girls like you don’t listen. Now be quiet!”
Your vision was blurred and dark and you thought you were about to pass out when you felt the weight of his body completely lifted off of you.
You immediately felt relief, not in the form of safety by any means but you felt like you could somewhat breathe again. The blow he’d given you to the head had you feeling dizzy and you sunk to the ground against the wall.
“You fucking-“ *whack*
“piece-“ *whack*
“of shit!” *whack*
You squinted your eyes open at the familiar voice. The same voice that had annoyed you earlier that afternoon. The voice that immediately gave you a sense of safety in that dark alley.
“Suna..?” You barely managed to squeak out. You were sure he didn’t hear you considering you could barely hear your own voice.
“You’re going to regret this for the rest of your life.” Suna spat, landing another punch directly to his face. “If you have issues with someone, take it up with them like a fucking man.” He growled. “Instead of preying on their little sister. You’re pathetic.”
Suna stood up off the ground and all you could do was watch through squinted eyes and your knees pulled to your chest.
He pulled something out of his pocket, it shined under the street lamps and you weren’t sure what it was. He grabbed Daishou by the collar of his shirt, forcing him to stand up before pressing the object against his throat.
“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t just kill you right here.”
You closed your eyes, covering your face in your arms when you heard Daishou start to sob. He sounded like you did a few minutes ago.
“I’d go to jail for her, no questions asked. Trust me when I tell you that I won’t hesitate.”
Suna was much bigger than him. Stronger. Taller.
“Hey,” Suna growled, pushing him against the brick wall. Daishou looked as light as a rag doll when Suna was throwing him around. “Answer me when I’m talking to you.”
“Please- I don’t- I’m sorry-“ Daishou choked out.
Suna laughed. A completely genuine laugh that made your skin crawl.
“Are you? Are you sorry?”
You looked back up at the two men, closer to you now and you could see that the object Suna had against his throat was a knife.
“Suna, wait-“ You tried to say to him, but your voice was still shaky and quiet.
Daishou was sobbing now, tears flowing from his eyes and wails ripping from his throat.
“Not so tough when you’re the one on the receiving end, huh?” Suna glared, putting his knife back in his pocket and throwing Daishou back onto the ground.
“Get the fuck out of here before I change my mind.” Suna said in a dark, low tone you hadn’t heard from him before. “And if you ever come near her again, I really will kill you.”
Daishou scrambled to his feet, holding his head and trying to stop the bleeding on his face that was surely from one of the rings Suna was wearing on his fingers.
You trembled against the wall, staring at Suna’s back as he watched Daishou leave. As soon as he was out of eyesight, he quickly turned to you and crouched down.
“Hey, it’s okay.” His voice softened, his gaze was kind and he hesitated before touching you. “Can I help you up? Can you stand?”
You nodded weakly and he crouched down, putting his arms under yours and standing you up. You could feel your legs wobbling and held onto his arm for support.
“Ugh,” He sighed, the pain in his voice coming through when he saw the true damage that’d been done to you. His hands carefully put you back together as best he could. He buttoned your shirt and pants back up, and shrugged off his jacket to put it on you instead.
You grabbed onto the sleeves and pulled them over your hands. It was even bigger than your brothers’ jackets, and you sunk into the soft material trying to grasp onto any little piece of comfort you could get.
Suna picked you up and held you against his chest. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he supported you from under your legs.
“How did you know where to find me?” You asked, your voice still quiet and strained.
“They told me what bus you were taking home so I came to make sure you got on okay. When it came and left without you I got worried and looked around, and then I heard you crying.” Suna let out a stressed out breath, “You know, I really would’ve done it.”
“I’m glad you didn’t.” You said, closing your eyes. You couldn’t even process what had just happened and didn’t know what you would’ve done if Suna wasn’t with you right now.
——
Suna’s house was only down the road, and you agreed to go there and get cleaned up before heading back home.
“Here,” Suna handed you a pair of comfortable pants and a t-shirt. “They’ll be way too long on you, but it’s better than your soaking wet clothes you’re wearing now.”
“Thanks…” you accepted the offer, stepping into the bathroom to change.
When you came out, Suna had changed too, but his eyes widened with shock when he saw the extent of your injuries.
He swore under his breath and approached you. When he reached out and touched your neck, his cool hand soothed the sting of the deep bite Daishou had embedded in your neck.
“Can’t believe he fucking bit you.” Suna’s voice was so quiet he was practically whispering, and you weren’t sure if he was talking to you or just thinking out loud. He trailed his hand around your throat and pressed his fingers on the deep bruises forming from when you’d been choked.
“That helps,” you sighed, leaning into his touch. Suna pulled his hand back as if he wasn’t even aware he’d been touching you.
“What do you want to do now? Should we call Osamu and Atsumu? Want me to take you home?” He placed his hands on your shoulders and continued looking you over. Suna brushed your hair out of the way, inspecting your face closely and grunting when he looked straight on at the black eye starting to appear.
You winced when his thumb grazed over the side of your head and he immediately pulled back.
“You were hit really hard. You should go to the hospital.”
You shook your head. “I don’t… I don’t want to go anywhere. Not right now, anyway.” You stepped over to his bed, sitting on the edge. “Can I just lie down?”
Suna nodded and pulled the blankets open, gesturing for you to crawl into his bed. He pulled the blankets on top of you and patted your arm.
“I’m just going to go into the kitchen to get a glass of water. I’ll shut the light off so you can rest a bit.”
The moment you couldn’t feel his presence in the room anymore, your mind travelled back to where you were earlier that night. Being attacked in a dark alley and suddenly you were feeling suffocated.
You sat up, gasping for air and Suna ran in, turning the light on and sitting next to you.
“Its okay, it’s okay,” He murmured, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you into him. He stroked your hair and let you cry out your fear as long as you needed to.
“I don’t…” You sniffled, “I don’t know what happened. When you left I just felt so scared all over again.”
“I’m sorry.” He said quietly, pressing his cheek against the top of your hair.
“Please don’t leave me alone.”
Suna nodded and stood up to go turn the light off again.
“Wait, where are you going?” You felt the panic start to take over again when the bed dipped down beside you.
“I’m right here.” His voice was kind. The Suna you’d known to always tease and annoy you had been replaced by something you could only describe as being your safety net.
Maybe this side of him was always here, and you just hadn’t ever noticed.
You laid back down beside him, moving close and nuzzling into his chest just like you had when he was carrying you. He wrapped his arms around you and softly trailed his hand up and down your back.
“I’ve got you, okay?” He whispered, “You’re safe with me. I promise. Just try and get some rest and we can worry about everything in the morning. You’ve been through enough tonight.”
You nodded and felt the relief wash over you. You knew you had a lot to deal with tomorrow, but having Suna by your side made it seem a little less scary.
Thinking back, he always was by your side. He would defend you when the twins would get too rough, and was definitely guilty of giving guys an intimidating glare when they’d try to hit on you.
You sighed, soaking in the feeling of his warmth.
You knew that from them on, you wanted nothing more than to be on his side.
And for him to stay on yours.

flirting with the owner~
pairing: osamu miya x reader
genre: FLUFFY FLUFF, osamu being silly, atsumu being snarky (but sweet), a soft and fun side of osamu <3
synopsis: one shot // visiting ‘samu on your lunch break
——— ♡ ———
“well hello, you sexy little thing. what can i get for ya?” osamu winked, leaning towards you over the counter with a smirk. “or would ya like somethin’… off the menu?”
“oh my goodness, the owner of onigiri miya… flirting with ME?!” you gasped, turning to the side and shying away from him. “i’m flattered, sir, but i have a fiancé.”
“what do ya mean ‘flirting’?” osamu blinked, making an expression as if he was completely surprised. “i talk to all of my customers like this.”
“well thank goodness. my fiancé is pretty big.” you looked back at him with a smile. “he wouldn’t like knowing other men were hitting on me while i’m just trying to get lunch.”
“yeah?” osamu rested his elbow on the counter with his chin in the palm of his hand. “tell me more. i bet i could take him on. steal ya and we could run away together.”
“hmm,” you hummed, crossing your arms and leaning against the wall. you couldn’t help but giggle as osamu stared at you while he acted completely serious. “for starters, he’s really strong. he used to be an athlete, you know.”
“used to? now what’s he do?” osamu cooed.
“he’s a business owner and he’s very successful. even franchised his business into multiple locations.” you pressed your hand to your chest, sighing dramatically. “and he’s just so, so handsome.”
“i see,” osamu walked around the counter, pressing his hand against the small of your back and pulling you close to him. “sounds like a decent guy.”
you giggled, wrapping your arms around his neck and looking up at him. “yeah, he’s alright.”
osamu used his free hand to rest on your cheek. he gazed dreamily at you, the words didn’t even need to be said. it was undeniable and he didn’t care who knew it.
osamu leaned down and kissed you, his soft lips turning into a smile with a soft hum when he felt you sigh happily.
“missed you.” you said after breaking the kiss, pressing your forehead to his.
“i always miss ya, sweetheart.” osamu whispered in your ear, pressing another kiss to your lips before letting go of you and gesturing towards the bar style seating. “go sit down, i’ll fix ya some lunch.”
you turned around and felt a hard smack on your ass and turned around to see osamu practically giggle with a low “heh” before winking at you again and heading into the kitchen.
you sat down and pulled out your phone when you noticed someone sit down beside you.
“i just gotta say it.”
you looked over to see atsumu running his fingers through his hair as if he was stressing out. you went to ask what was wrong when he spoke again.
“that whole display was so embarrassing. ‘samu looks like a little schoolgirl when you’re around and don’t even get me started on whatever that little roleplay was when ya got here.” atsumu mumbled.
you stared at him and tried to think of a response. atsumu had always been kind to you. if anything, he treated you the same way he treated osamu. it was clear they loved each other but there were no limits to the teasing. you included.
“that being said…” he looked over at you and gave you a big smile, “i never formally congratulated you guys on gettin’ engaged. you make my brother really happy, and seein’ that bastard happy makes me happy.”
atsumu patted your back as if he was celebrating a scoring point with a teammate. “happy to have ya join the family! just remember what you’re gettin’ yourself into.”
you laughed, nodding at his words. you knew he was talking about the fact that the twins were pretty much a package deal. their mom called it “buy one get one free”, with one comes the other. even in their separate relationships they always spent a lot of time together, and in turn, that means you did, too.
“i know exactly what i’m in for, and that makes me even more excited for the rest of our lives.”
“good.” atsumu’s smile turned into a devilish smirk when he stood up and peeked over the counter. “osamu! could ya hurry it up? some of us have places to be, ya know!”
“i’m right here, ya scrub!” osamu rolled his eyes at his brother, shoving a plate of food at him. “eat up, pig.”
“thank youuuuu~” atsumu said sweetly as he began to inhale the food in front of him.
“enjoy, baby.” osamu placed the food in front of you and gave you a kiss on the cheek. “i gotta get back, but i’ll see ya tonight, okay? i love ya.”
you turned to face him, giving him a soft kiss on the lips and nodded. “i love you too. thank you.”
osamu stood up straight and smirked at you. “always a pleasure to serve a pretty girl like you. stop by again, okay?”
atsumu grunted in disgust at his brother’s silliness and mumbled something inaudible. you smiled to yourself before taking the first bite.
if this was what the rest of your life was going to be like, you knew you were in for a wild ride.
and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

staying with suna~
———♡———
pairing: rintaro suna x reader
genre: fluffy fluff and silliness // one shot
synopsis: staying over at your boyfriends while your apartment is being renovated. just you and your bf enjoying life together and being silly. suna being suna. :)
———♡———
you put your hands on your hips and took a step back, admiring the spotless kitchen you’d spent the last 2 hours cleaning from top to bottom.
as you let out a sigh of relief, eager to spend the next few hours on the couch, you felt a quick squeeze on your ass and quickly turned around.
“wh- rin?! when did you get home?!” you glared at your boyfriend, clutching your chest from the scare he’d just given you.
“like, two minutes ago? you didn’t hear me? i even said hi.” he snorted, “sorry i scared you, babe. didn’t mean to.”
you rolled your eyes, but quickly submitted to his charm when he flashed you a smirk.
“you should be sorry.” you muttered, turning away so he couldn’t see your face. “after i spent hours cleaning your kitchen for you, that’s how you greet me.”
“stop pretending to be mad at me, weirdo. you suck at it.” he laughed, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on top of your head. “thank you for cleaning, you didn’t have to. i’ve been meaning to get to it but i’ve just been busy.”
you leaned back into his chest. “i know, that’s why i did it. figured i should pull my weight since i’m being a total freeloader.”
“you’re so dramatic.” he mumbled, “staying with your boyfriend while your apartment is being renovated is hardly freeloading.”
suna stood up, turning you around to face him.
“can i have a proper hello now?”
you smiled, leaning up to wrap your arms around his neck while he slid his own around your waist in a tight hug.
“welcome home. happy to see you.” you said quietly, giving his neck a kiss. “missed you.”
“mmmm,” he sighed, feeling the stress of his day leaving his body with every second he spent with you in his arms. “i always miss you when you’re not with me.”
you moved back, giving him a quick kiss. as you went to pull away, one of his hands rested on the back of your neck and lightly pressed you back into him.
“wasn’t done kissing you…” he mumbled against your lips.
you giggled, tangling your fingers in his hair and kissing him back, much more passionately than a quick ‘welcome home’.
his tongue prodded against your lips and you opened your mouth to allow him in. suna’s tongue softly slid against yours, the kisses quickly turning into a heated make out.
suna was the one to finally break the kiss, his breathing faster than normal and a light blush across his cheeks.
“that was fun. we should always greet each other like that.” he smirked.
you giggled at his request, walking over to the fridge and looking inside. “dinner?”
“can we get pizza? i’ve been on such a strict diet i need something greasy or i’m gonna lose my mind.” he whined. suna pulled his jersey off and gave you another kiss on the forehead. “gonna shower, i’ll be right back.”
the two of you had your pizza and ended the night with a movie, snuggled up on the couch.
“i’m gonna miss this when i have to go back home.” you sighed, nuzzling into his chest. “it’s nice to spend every evening together, go to bed together…”
“tell me about it. living life with my best friend is pretty damn sweet.” he kissed your forehead and rubbed soft circles into your lower back.
you nodded. “sucks it has to end.”
“i mean, it doesn’t. why don’t you just move in with me?”
“what? are you being serious?” your eyes widened as you sat up to look at him. suna stared back at you with nothing but pure adoration.
“of course i’m being serious. why would i joke about that?” he laughed, “that would be so mean.”
“well i just wanted to be sure. i wouldn’t put it past you. you literally pointed at a stray cat yesterday and said it reminded you of me.” you smirked, “i’ve learned to take most of what you say with a light heart.”
“okay, first of all-“ he sat up, putting his hands on your shoulders. he pressed his forehead against yours. “that cat was CUTE and the fur was the same colour of your hair. it was NOT an insult.”
you giggled, nodding along to his statements. “okay, okay.”
“second of all-“ he squeezed your cheeks with his thumb and forefinger, puckering your lips and giving you an obnoxiously loud kiss. “i just love ya. seeing your beautiful self every day, waking up next to you, getting to mess with you and tease you whenever i want, being able to just squish this cute face that i love so much…” he sighed. “it’s pretty fuckin’ stellar. i don’t want it to end.”
you smiled at your boyfriend. he wasn’t usually such a big talker, especially around others, but sometimes he really opened up to you. of course, he wouldn’t be a completely sappy open book, his rintaro charm clung to every word and his sarcasm was a trait he could never rid himself of.
but that’s why you loved him.
“i’d love to move in with you, rintaro.” you smiled. “nothing could make me happier.”
he hugged you right against his chest, not able to hide the massive smile and overwhelming happiness he was feeling.
“there’s one thing, though. and i really hope it’s not a deal breaker….”
you let go of him, looking back at him seriously. his gaze had gone back to his regular heavy lidded stare, not a hint of the happiness he was just exuding and it started to worry you.
he was being serious.
“what is it?”
his emotionless expression immediately turned into a devilish smirk. “you gotta make out with me like we did earlier… every time i come home.”
“oh my god!” you giggled, throwing a pillow at him. “and here i thought you were going to say something serious.”
he snickered, throwing the pillow back at you. “my sweet, gullible baby.” he flipped you on your back, peppering your cheeks with kisses, stopping to quietly mumble something against your skin. “who said i wasn’t being serious, though? that’d be awesome.”
“you’re such a dork.” you smiled, thinking for a second before murmuring in his ear. “i’ll think about it.”
