i might be losing my mind but i was reading the tyrant's tomb (riordanverse) and the villian is tarquinius, also called tarquin. most importantly, he was the seventh and last king of rome.

i know a lot of people think lucien is going to became high king, but (although i do not like the high king idea) tarquin makes more sense. not only he has the name of a former roman king, but he is also the youngest high lord making him the seventh.

friendly update!

just passing by to leave kit connor's photos, 'cause he would be the perfect teddy altman/ hulking.

okey, so now that the news about joe locke being casted in agatha: coven of chaos are out, i need him to play billy maximoff/wiccan. he would do an amazing job, and i can totally see him as elizabeth olsen's son.

however, i have to admit that the casting that i've been manifesting for months is kit connor as teddy altman/hulkling. he was born to play that role (and nick nelson).

some may not be in favor because they already play a couple in heartstopper, but there have been other actors that play couples in more than one project (like adam sandler and drew barrymore). also, these drawings by alice oseman exist...

also, if marvel casts them, they make sure that the actors have chemistry, and that they have a huge fan base that will endorse the show (because let's be honest, we know how the public reacted to she-hulk, so imagine a show with lgtb+ main characters).

my other petition is to cast edvin ryding as tommy maximoff/speed.

just finished reading the hidden oracle, love it.

apollo's pov is fun to read, he's really on brand all the time.

however, i haven't really connected with meg. apollo couldn't stand her 95% of the time, and when she goes away suddenly he misses her.

also, (i know quite a lot of spoilers) i have this feeling that meg is isolated. she does not have another meaningful friendship outside of apollo, which makes me feel like she will not be really relevant once the trials of apollo end. idk, maybe I'm wrong.

and i'm not even that mad that she hid she is nero's stepdaughter, because i get that she has been manipulated for years and is still a child. but i wish she had said something, come clean before the final battle.

i'm unwell with the news of a new percy jackson and the olympians book, but i've read the premise and an idea came up.

when percy discovers that he needs three letters of recommendation from the gods, i need him to mentally run a list of the gods that would happily write one. probably, they would be poseidon (he's his favorite child), hestia (she's just nice) and apollo (percy has helped him a lot during the years).

okey, so he gets the letters and shows up to new rome university, and they are like:

no, we can't accept this... neptune? isn't that your father? sounds a bit like nepotism. also, he's not than important for romans. hestia? she's no longer an olympian, sorry, but we need someone more important. oh, apollo? wasn't he recently punished by his father? yeah, we don't value his opinion either.

and then percy has to get letters of recommendation from the olympians he loathes the most, like zeus/jupiter, ares/mars or hera/juno.

i just know that him constantly complaining would be so funny, and it would make him consider how much he wants to go to university.

okey, so i thought that midnights was gonna be about anxiety and spiraling thoughts that keep you from sleeping (and maybe it still is), but then taylor comes and announces labyrinth… which it also goes with the theme of being lost in your thoughts, and not being able to escape.

i was exited because i expect mythological references from that song (not to be that girl, but theseus managed to escape from the labyrinth thanks to ariadne’s string… one single threat of gold tied me to you)

people have been pointing out that she recently mentioned pan’s labyrinth (2006 movie), which has always crept me out, and i started thinking that maybe midnights has a bit of a horror theme going on. i think it would be more of a classic horror thing, like frankenstein, dr jekyll and mr hyde, the picture of dorian gray type of horror.
