House Call
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Aether, Diluc, Tartaglia x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Genshin characters and you playing nurse
Word Count: Aether - 467, Diluc - 635, Tartaglia - 661, All - 1,763
Warnings/Extra Notes: Mentions of blood, Mentions of injuries (nothing too graphic), Mentions of death, Mentions of hospitals, Slight cussing, Can be seen as slightly suggestive (Diluc's part), Slight spoilers, Use of Childes multiple names, Not proof-read (pls excuse any grammatical errors thx), Lmk if there's more!
Aether:
Being in a relationship with Aether -the Honorary Knight of Mondstat, the Hero of Liyue, the Captain of Swordfish II in Inazuma, the First Sage of Buer in Sumeru, plus whatever other title he will inevitably get- wasn’t always the easiest believe it or not. Not because he would ever treat you unwell (you guys had your petty fights, then again, what couple didn’t?) he'd rather die than hurt you (his words, not yours). It was more so the things that came with him being an adventurer. You know, not staying at a place longer than needed, helping everyone that you'd come across, the very frequent run-in with death. Normal things.
But you would be lying if you didn’t admit how worried you would get for Aether. You know he can handle himself, that at most he would come back with a few scratches (usually), but it could still make you lose sleep. He would never tell you when he was hurt (Something about not wanting to worry you? What a weirdo.), and you know he doesn’t really take care of himself, often putting others before himself. Which, ironically, only made you worry more because sometimes he would come back with an injury that requires more attention than a scratch. Sometimes he would come back limping, unable to hide that he was hurt. Sometimes, which includes right now, you would freak out seeing the state he was in.
You guys were in Liyue for a few days before you continued your journey to Mondstat. Aether had just left to finish his daily commissions while you patiently waited for him at the inn. After a while, you started getting worried he never took this long to clear out a few hilichurls. Your worries were cut short with the sharp sound of the door unlocking and your boyfriend hastily walking in. You froze, noticing the still bleeding cut on his arm, starting at his shoulder and ending near his elbow. Aether was frantically trying to make sure none of the blood dripped off his arm all the while asking you about your day. Watching the blood still drip down his arm, you were about to scold him for being so reckless but decided against it. You noticed how quickly his face lit up once he saw you despite being in tremendous pain and couldn't bring yourself to be upset at him. Instead, you grab a towel to cover his arm and start dragging him to Baizhus pharmacy for proper treatment.
"You should have just gone to Baizhu first." you mumble, glancing back at him.
"I wanted to see you first," he replied, averting his gaze from yours. "I missed you."
Oh. You might need to see Baizhu too. After all, your heart wasn't supposed to beat this fast, right?
Tumblr media
Diluc:
Getting to know Diluc at all was already a difficult task. Truly getting to know Diluc was somehow even more difficult, but you managed. It took a lot of time and even more patience, but you managed. He let you in fully, and you wouldn't dare to leave. You knew about his nightly activities, and while you would often make fun of it or get worried over him, you supported him nonetheless. At first, you were skeptical (I mean really? Running around at night killing abyss mages in a silly mask? Yeah, okay) and didn't really believe him. But the first night he came home with fresh new scratches and bruises, you quickly realized he wasn't joking.
The first time he came home all scratched up, you rightfully panicked. It was just the break of dawn, the sun slowly started to pour into the room through the tiny gaps in the curtain. You woke up to an empty bed, which freaked you out, to say the least. Diluc would still be in bed around this time, but maybe he just headed downstairs earlier today? You slowly got out of bed and started to head downstairs. You, in all your sleepy glory, bumped into multiple different walls on your way down. But those minor "injuries" were absolutely nothing when compared to what you saw on Diluc. Diluc was downstairs, in the kitchen, calmly cleaning up the blood around a bruise on his stomach. You froze in the middle of the doorway for two reasons: 1) Oh my god, is that blood? Is he hurt? Why is he hurt? and 2) Oh my God, is he shirtless? He seemed to have noticed you since when you finally came back to your senses, you saw a sheepish smile on his face while he greeted you.
That day, you learned that he would come home and quickly get cleaned up before heading back to bed to greet you. He didn't want to show you the ugly sides of what he does or something along those lines. You, on the other hand, would have none of it. After that day, you would wake up earlier (or stay up later) to take care of him. Diluc obviously protested, he didn't want you to worry or lose sleep over something so trivial (his words, not yours). But in the end you got your way, and months later, you don't regret it.
In the present day, you woke up a little before dawn break, already in the kitchen waiting for Diluc to come home. You didn't have to wait much longer, since Diluc strolled into the kitchen as if he didn't spend all night fighting against abyssal creatures. He sent a warm smile your way, one which you gladly returned, before leaning against the counter next to the sink. You swiftly got to work cleaning and wrapping up all the wounds littered around his skin. Times like these were always oddly calming; the sun would slowly be rising, the birds would start chirping, and the maids in the manor weren't shuffling around yet. It was just you and Diluc...
"Did you sleep well?" Diluc asked, breaking you from your thoughts.
Ah, the main thing you loved about these times: Diluc and you got to spend time with each other uninterrupted and unbothered by the business of the day.
"Would've slept better if you had been there." you replied, cleaning the last bit of blood around his neck and looking up to meet his gaze.
Diluc smiled a bit before wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you closer, "Then I'll be there tonight."
You smiled back before resting your head on his shoulder, cherishing the moment of bliss you get before starting your day. Yep, months later, you still don't regret a thing.
Tumblr media
Tartaglia:
Falling in love with Ajax was one of the most terrifying things you've experienced. He was a Harbinger for the Fatui, a diplomat for Snezhnaya, and not to mention his insane blood-lust. You knew falling for someone like him would only cause you pain, physically and mentally. But, ignoring that, you were also terrified of how he made you feel. You've never experienced love like this. You've never experienced butterflies so intense, your heart never skipped so many beats, you never lost your words that much, and you never ever felt so sick. All over minuscule things he'd do too... So, despite all the red flags and other obvious reasons you should've ignored him, you couldn't stop yourself. Which led to a couple months of mutual pinning between the two of you filled with the most corny and endearing clichés you could think of. Thankfully, it ended with Childe confessing his undying love for you with the most bashful smile you've ever seen. Another (welcomed) cliché.
Even before you were in a relationship with the 11th harbinger, you were aware of the dangers of his job. You knew that Childe getting into fights and getting the occasional bruise was something to be expected. And Childe never hid any of his scars from you, always seeming to come to you to get his scrapes cleaned up. So you never worried too much over him. He didn't hide anything from you after all. You also knew how great a fighter Childe was. Sure, sometimes he could be a bit too reckless, but he always managed. Which, in hindsight, you should've questioned. Getting into constant fights with some of the strongest people in whatever region he was in and then coming back without any major injuries? Yeah, okay.
Truth be told, Childe would (obviously) get help before meeting up with you, but he also loved when you would take care of him. Leading him to only get his major injuries dealt with before meeting you. He wasn't embarrassed about any injuries he got, it's not like he didn't want to tell you about them... He just didn't want to freak you out and possibly scare you away. But that's a conversation for another time. In the end, you still found out, and not because he told you. Nope! You found out through a few Fatui soldiers talking about a certain Harbinger being rushed to the nearest clinic once they got back.
The second you heard Ajax's code name fall from their lips, you started running to the clinic that the Fatui would frequent. During the entire trip there and the whole process at the front desk, you could practically feel your heart in your ears. After what felt like years, you were finally able to see him, and Archons, did you have things to say to him. Bursting into the hospital room, you quickly went to grab his face before turning it all over.
"Archons Ajax! Are you alright- No, how are you feeling?" you rush out, fear and concern evident in your voice.
"Babe? What are you doing here?" he questioned back instead.
"What am I doing here? Did you expect to hide this from me?" you asked in response. At this point, you had stopped trying to look at all his bruises and looked straight into his eyes. Both the fear and concern that was evident in your voice, was also evident in the way you held him.
His lack of response caused you to go on a mini-rant,
"You idiot, how could you be so reckless? Don't ever do something like that again."
"Be more careful next time, or else I'm not gonna kiss you anymore- I'm being honest this time!"
The rest of your scolding fell on deaf ears as Childe looked at you with the softest smile that ever graced his pretty face. He really did love you and it was clear you loved him back just as much.
Notes: *awkward cough* hi- ANYWAY. Please take this cutely domestic little post I totally spent the past three months on it. No I didn't I was just lazy. Notice how each drabble got longer and longer yeah I have issues.

Henna Headcanons
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Alhaitham, Ayato, Diluc, Tartaglia (Childe), Zhongli x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Genshin characters when they see you putting on henna
Word Count: Around 200-300 for each
Warnings/Extra Notes: Mentions of Eid, Mentions of marriage, Reader mentions wearing henna for weddings, Not proofread, Lmk if there's more!!
Alhaitham:
He actually reminded you about getting your henna done
Normally you’d forget about it until the last minute and then panic (no this is not from experience shut up)
And you had forgotten again this year until Alhaitham asked you a question,
“[Name], do you do your own henna?”
You do! You were so proud of it and were about to show off until you realize
Oh no. You didn’t have any and he just reminded you about it.
Probably why he asked you because let’s be honest he already knows the answer to that question
You had been staring at your empty hand for the last minute, while Alhaitham was staring at you. His question made you remember your henna or lack thereof. It also made you realize that it was the last day before Eid, meaning the already crowded bazaar would be even more crowded if that's possible. Alhaitham stared at you for a minute more before getting up from the couch with an exasperated sigh. Snapping out of your trance, you looked over to where Alhaitham was grabbing his keys while walking towards the door.
“Are you just going to sit there and stare or get up so we can get you some henna?” he asked, looking over his shoulder.
You practically jumped out of your seat and ran towards the door with a slight blush dusting your face. Whether it was a blush out of embarrassment or because Alhaitham was going out on one of the busiest days of the year just for you, you'll never tell.
Tumblr media
Ayato:
You did your henna with Ayaka
Like you were sitting in one of the rooms doing your henna when Ayaka walked by and saw
She found it beautiful so she asked if she could watch you putting it on
You obviously weren’t gonna just let her watch.
So that's how Ayato found the both of you putting henna on each other
Ayato had just arrived back at the estate and all he wanted to do was spend some time with you before having to fill out the mountains of paperwork that awaited him. Walking past a slightly open door he heard his sister asking you a question,
“Ah [Name], am I holding it right?”
Now Ayato would normally leave you two alone but he was also really curious. So, he pushed the door open as quietly as possible to see what was happening. The sight that greeted him was one that made his heart skip a beat. He knew you and Ayaka were close, something which he adored, but seeing you guys interact would always make him fall harder for you. Especially now, seeing you share something important to you with his younger sister. While you were helping Ayaka apply her henna, he noticed your own. He couldn’t help but feel proud seeing how talented you were. He stood there for a few more minutes, unnoticed, before deciding to quickly go and finish his work. After all, how could he not spend all night with you after that sight?
Tumblr media
Diluc:
You guys were in the dining room and he was watching you apply your henna
He was so serious about watching it too
Like he would watch you intently, ask questions, and listen to you tell stories about it
While you were talking about when people typically wear henna you brought up marriages
And ohmygod are you saying you want to marry him???
Diluc couldn’t take his eyes off you. Everyone knows that he’s always looking at you or for you. But right now he couldn't stop looking at you because you were applying your henna. He couldn’t help it either! You just looked so cute concentrating so hard on making the most perfect lines you could. You were talking about when you would typically wear henna when you mentioned something that literally made Diluc’s heart stop.
“My mom used to tell me how on her wedding night my father spent hours finding all the little references in her henna. I’m sure she exaggerated, but I can’t wait to pick my henna for our wedding.” You said so casually, even ending with a giggle. You didn’t even look away from your hand.
Those words rang through Diluc’s ears. Our wedding. Your wedding with him. Sure he knew he wanted to marry you, but you mentioning it like you were just talking about the weather did something to him. You were still talking but he couldn’t bring himself to fully pay attention. He was too busy thinking about what kind of ring to buy you.
Tumblr media
Tartaglia:
He would be so excited about it
Also wants to help you
But sucks at it, it’s okay though because you’re there
Would want to also get henna done
Omg he would brag about your amazing talent in his letters home
You were just peacefully looking at henna designs when suddenly your front door slammed open. You would’ve been terrified if you didn’t hear Childe’s voice approaching your house. You moved over a bit on your couch to let Childe sit down. He started talking about anything and everything but quickly noticed how your attention wasn’t on him but on whatever you were putting on your hand. He got pouty really fast but recovered even quicker. He decided that he would help you. Well, he tried, but it wasn’t too great. You ended up forcing him to sit quietly and just watch you. He got bored though, so he started begging you to get matching henna designs. You decided to just give the two of you simple hearts because it was the fastest cutest thing you could think of. That led to Childe talking about how his family would love you because of how amazing you are. But hey that’s better than him “helping” you.
“Aww babe, you’re so good at this. My s/o is so talented! Tonia would love this, I can’t wait until you meet her.”
Tumblr media
Zhongli:
He made you henna
LISTEN IF HE CAN SPEND HOURS MAKING YOU TEA HE WILL MAKE YOU HENNA
Ahem anyway.
He made you henna and applied it for you because he’s perfect like that
As you were walking home, you prayed Zhongli would already be home. It had been a long day and all you wanted was some tea and the presence of your boyfriend. Reaching your front door, you quickly unlocked your door and rushed to take off your shoes. You threw your keys into the mini tray on top of the shoe shelf near your front door, when you noticed Zhongli’s shoes. Knowing he was home you were now even happier to be there. A strong stench of something hit your nose as soon as you entered the house. It smelled like…henna? You were confused since you hadn’t bought any yet and even if you had, why would your house smell like it? You found your answer after you walked into your kitchen. There was a bowl of henna sitting on the countertop. Zhongli walked in shortly after you, and you knew that this was his doing.
“Hello darling, how was your day?” he asked with a small smile.
You also had a small smile on your face as you spent the rest of your day talking to him as he helped you with your henna.
Notes: lol. hi. haha. ANYWAY a week late but here's my Eid post. The diluc one has my whole heart ngl, when will it be my turn to do that. Hope those of you who celebrated Eid had a good one!!

Care To Stay?
Tumblr media
Hello! Welcome to my little library, why don't you stay for a bit?
You can call me chi/chii and I go by she/her pronouns. I am a minor (less than 18), so everything I post will be sfw (may be a little suggestive but nothing too graphic). I'm also a full time student and so school is usually draining the life out of me.
BYF/DNI:
Before you follow: I am a minor. I am also usually very busy and don't have a consistent posting schedule. But I will reply when I'm given time too so don't hesitate to message me!
Do Not Interact: Basic DNI criteria. I'm aware that this doesn't really stop people from interacting, but please do be nice. Do not interact if you're uncomfortable with me being a minor. I don't mind if nsfw/18+ blogs interact or follow but I personally will not follow back or respond.
What I Write For:
Currently I'm only writing for Genshin Impact. I do hope to write for more fandoms in the future.
A Little Gift:
Have a link to my masterlist!

Do I Scare You? (1)
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Alhaitham, Ayato x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Genshin characters in situations where you're "scared" of them
Word Count: Alhaitham - 414 , Ayato - 772 (i don't have favorites pfft.)
Warnings/Extra Notes: Slight cursing, Slight angst, Not proofread, Lmk if there's more!
Alhaitham:
Normally if you tried to avoid someone, it wouldn’t be too noticeable. They have other things to worry about, and other people to talk to. But with Alhaitham it was extremely noticeable. The acting Grand-Sage didn’t have that many people hanging around him in the first place. So when you, one of the very few people that did hang out with him, suddenly disappeared it was very noticeable. And to say it didn’t affect him would be a lie. It shouldn’t affect him, but he can’t help but think about what happened. Alhaitham was smart (shocker) and while he had his suspicions he needed you to confirm them. But how could you when you wouldn’t even look at him?
He’s planned a rebellion, surely he can plan to get you to simply talk to him. Well, after a few days of patiently waiting he decided to just trap you in a room. He only has so much patience and luckily sadly for you, it ran out. And that’s what led to this situation now. You and Alhaitham in a room. Alone. You didn’t mean to ignore him… Actually, that’s a lie you did, but only for a while! Only until you stopped liking him, which now that you think about it might take forever. Especially now, seeing him again after so long.
“Alhaitham..?” you spoke up, albeit quietly.
Instead of responding, Alhaitham just continued to stare at you. Which scared you more; he was always good at seeing through people. If he wanted to ask you something he probably already found his answer by just looking at you. After what felt like hours, Alhaitham finally spoke up,
“You’re afraid of me.”
A simple short sentence. Expected of Alhaitham. Also expected, he was right. You are absolutely terrified of this man. You’re horrified over the fact that just thinking about him turns you into a mess.
“Huh?” you responded, a little too quickly.
Alhaitham didn’t say anything. He simply got closer to you, towering over you.
“You’re afraid of me. But why?” He said.
What a stupid question. He knew why. You knew he knew. So why ask? Is he trying to get you to say it out loud? Well, screw him.
“I’m not afraid of you.” you ended with an airy laugh.
“Are you sure?” he said leaning in even closer.
“Then why is your heart beating so fast?” he whispered, face only inches away from yours.
Shit. How would you deny it now?
Tumblr media
Ayato:
Kamisato Ayato. An infamous name in Inazuma. As such a prominent figure, he knew lots of people. It wasn’t important for him to keep track of them all (though he does). So you assumed that you, someone who has no “value” to him, could vanish peacefully. Surprisingly, you were wrong on both accounts. One, you couldn’t just vanish. Two, you were valued. If Ayato didn’t want to spend time with you, he simply wouldn’t. So when he noticed his office was a little too quiet, he was extremely worried. Where were you? Has something happened? Are you okay? Why aren’t you here with him? After a few days, he realized he hadn’t heard from you at all. Soon rumors started that you were avoiding him. Ayato was never one to listen to rumors. He was aware that most of the time people just talked to talk. But this was about you, and he couldn’t help but listen. Are you really avoiding him? Was someone threatening you? Were you in trouble? Why wouldn’t you tell him? He had to admit he was a little hurt that you wouldn’t talk to him. For the rest of the day, while he was working, all he did was think about you. He tried to find a reason why you would avoid him. It was at an ungodly hour of the night when it finally hit him. Realizing why you were avoiding the estate (and him), Ayato couldn’t help the sly smirk that overtook his pretty face.
It has been almost a week since you vanished. Ayato still hasn’t asked to see you. This left you to think that you could peacefully live the rest of your life without ever having to see him again. It wasn’t that you hated Ayato, no it was the exact opposite. You liked Ayato, maybe a little too much. A small part of you thought about how you guys could have a cute happily ever after, but you knew this wasn’t realistic. You guys were worlds apart. So you made the decision to leave before you got more attached. As you were sitting on your couch debating whether you should go out or not, there was a sudden knock on the door. Confused, you got up to check who it was. You didn’t order anything, did you? Opening the door, you saw a familiar head of blue.
Ah.
Ayato.
You stood at your door for a solid minute trying to fully process what was happening. In this short period of time, Ayato had let himself in, closing the door behind him. Seeing him after so long, you couldn’t help but stare at him. He looked good. Really good. He was currently leaning against the closed door, arms crossed, wearing his signature smirk.
“Haven’t seen you in a while. Tell me, how have you been?” Ayato questioned, breaking the silence.
“How’ve I been… I um I’ve been good?” You answered, though it came out as more of a question.
The initial shock of seeing Ayato had slightly vanished and instead, questions started to form in your head. What was he doing here? Why now? Why is he acting like nothing happened? Did something even happen?
“You made me worry, you know?” Ayato once again broke the silence.
“I didn’t mean to…” You trailed off.
In all honesty, you hadn’t meant for Ayato to worry. In fact, you didn’t really believe him when he said it. You had to explain yourself, but what would you even say? ‘Sorry I was actively avoiding you, I’m just so madly in love with you.’ No, that would just be dumb.
Ayato simply smiled at your response, “It’s alright, but do you mind me asking what happened?”
“I’ve just been busy as of late.” You said in a quieter tone. It was a small lie, but he doesn’t need to know that.
This time Ayato didn’t say anything, he was waiting for you to look at him. You, on the other hand, thought the cobweb on the right side of your ceiling looked very interesting. While the cobweb was captivating, the man standing in front of you was even more captivating. You couldn’t help but look over at him. Making eye contact with Ayato, you realized your mistake.
You didn’t need to lie about your disappearance. He already knew why you vanished.
Noticing your gaze on him Ayato’s smile grew a bit larger as he asked you another question,
“Do I scare you [Name]?”
He terrified you, but not in a way you hate and he knew that. The only question left is how would you respond?
Note: Awkward cough. March has been crazy, but I plan to write more (real). Other parts of this will be out. Also I swear Ayato is NOT my favorite :)

♡A Gift From The Heart♡
♡Fandom: Genshin Impact
♡Pairing: Ayato x Reader
♡Summary: You want to be Ayato's Valentine. How are you going to do that?
♡Word Count: 1480 (it's a bit long)
♡Warnings/Extra Notes: Kind of suggestive near the end, slight cuss (one I think), Lmk if there's more!
What could you possibly get Ayato? Normally a lovely bouquet or some chocolate would suffice, but not when every other person would be getting him something similar. Ayato had his fair share of admirers, being one of the most sought out men in Inazuma. To be fair, he was the head of the Kamisato clan and the Yashiro Commissioner. It also helped that he had a pretty face and a charming personality to match. And like so many others, you developed a huge small crush on the Kamisato. But unlike many others, you were somewhat close to Ayato. You and Ayaka were friends, prompting your “friendship” with Ayato.
While you initially tried to make sure Ayaka wouldn’t find out about the feelings you harbored towards her elder brother, she had figured it out herself and there was no point in denying it. Ever since then Ayaka was determined to help you confess, going to some questionable lengths for her cause. Everything she had tried up to this point had failed, mainly because there was no way you would confess to the Kamisato Ayato, but she was certain that this would work. What was her plan this time? You ask Ayato to be your valentine. A very simple task compared to everything else she came up with. Except the problem now was, what would you get him? What do you get the man that could have anything he wanted? You ended up deciding to make him his favorite drink, bubble tea, with heart-shaped tapioca pearls to be festive. You had made a special cup that had the words “Can I be your Valentine?” which could only be visible after he finished the drink.
You were proud of yourself for being able to pull this off since the other option was locking yourself in your house until death greeted you. Initially, you had planned on handing the drink to Ayato himself and you were still going to! Until you saw him walk out of the estate and suddenly you had something very important to do at some place very far away. Seeing him had heightened your anxiety and you opted to just place the drink on his desk. Praying to whatever archon was listening for him to let you down easily.
Ayato had only gone out for a short break and was walking back to the estate when he saw you rushing out. He was about to greet you but noticed your fast pace and anxious mood. He decided he would let you be and ask Ayaka if anything had happened. While yes you were Ayakas friend, Ayato couldn’t help but be a little interested in you. In fact, you caught his attention by being Ayaka’s friend. He loved the fact that Ayaka was making friends, especially ones that seemed to truly care for her. As time went on, Ayato grew to enjoy your company at the estate and found himself wishing you were there more often. Walking back inside, he noticed Ayaka wasn’t there. He came to the conclusion that you had left to go find Ayaka.
Walking towards his office he wished you were still here, it was too quiet without you rambling about some new obsession you had. Letting out a long sigh, Ayato entered the familiar room with the stacks of paperwork neatly laid out on top of his desk. Approaching his desk, he noticed something he could swear he didn’t have before. With a tilt of the head, he picked up the cup and saw a tag attached reading “From [Name]” With a small smile, he admired the drink for a few seconds before starting to drink it. He quickly realized you probably hadn’t been there for Ayaka and his smile got a little larger at that fact. After a little while he sadly finished his drink and only a tiny bit of his work, (his work wasn’t his priority) but he noticed some writing on the cup. Processing the words written on the cup Ayato couldn’t control the lovesick smile that had slowly started to form on his face.
Later that evening you decided to visit Ayaka, seeing as you couldn’t just avoid the whole estate (or the whole family). Walking down the halls, you couldn’t help but peek into Ayato’s office to see he was there. To your dismay, while he wasn’t currently there, he certainly saw your message judging by the empty cup on the desk. Taking the empty cup and empty room as being rejected, you decided you couldn’t handle seeing Ayaka today. The familiar scene of you rushing out of the estate played again, except this time you bumped into something firm. Catching yourself before you could fall you started apologizing before slowly looking up. You wished you never looked up. No, you wished you died ten seconds ago before you looked up. The thing, or person, you bumped into was none other than Kamisato Ayato, the man you were currently trying to avoid. While you were dreading this, Ayato was relieved to have caught you before you left. Noticing the small smile that played at the corner of his lips, you had temporarily forgotten why exactly you were upset.
“Where are you off to in such a rush?” He asked, crossing his arms.
Snapping out of your daze you responded with, “I uh… I forgot I left my oven on! Yeah, so I’m kinda in a rush. Again I’m so sorry about bumping into you.” you finished with a nervous laugh, slowly starting to walk around him.
The look in Ayato’s eyes told you he didn’t believe you but the smile he wore said he would humor you.
“Why don’t I go with you? I had something I wanted to discuss anyway.” He said, walking toward the exit himself.
Horrified you rushed next to him, “No! Ahah there’s no need for that. I couldn't trouble you for this. And we can always talk later.” you tried to reason.
Ayato looked back and tilted his head, “I don’t think you should be standing here trying to convince me to stay while your house might burn down.”
God you hated him and that stupid smirk he wore. Realizing there was no way out, you started to walk ahead of Ayato toward your house. After a very long and slightly awkward walk, you finally reached your front door. Not wanting the embarrassment of being caught in a lie (he already knew but that doesn’t matter) you told Ayato to stay outside while you turned off your oven. You were honestly going to shut the door and never go back out, but a small part of you wanted to hear him out and so you reluctantly went back outside.
“And here I thought you had died in the fire,” Ayato said as soon as you shut your door.
“What fire…” You mumbled under your breath, “What was it you wanted to talk about?”
“I’m sure you know what,” Ayato said, approaching you slowly, “The hearts were a cute touch, I enjoyed your gift.”
“You did?” You asked, backing up.
“I did.” He said, now leaning towards you.
You’re now trapped between Ayato and your front door. He was so close to you. You could practically feel his breath on your face. The proximity was making you short-circuit and you couldn’t find the right words to continue the conversation. You hoped he would say something about the message. The delusional part of your brain was screaming that he would accept and the logical part was currently not working. So deciding your only option was to ask what else he had to say, you did exactly that,
“Um. Anything else you want to say?” With how close he was all you had to do was whisper.
Ayato smirked at this, “No? Am I forgetting something?”
“J-just wondering… Did you notice anything on the cup?” You stammered out.
“Oh, about that…” Ayato started quickly glancing at your lips.
You were so close to crying. This is the part where he rejects you. You were trying your hardest to not push him away and run inside. You just might if he doesn’t finish his damn sentence.
“If you want an answer to your question, you should ask me right now, love.” He finished, looking you in the eyes.
If you thought your brain stopped working before, then you’re currently brain-dead. What kind of sadist was he? Making you ask out loud, face to face, only for him to reject you. And calling you love? He wanted you dead, you were sure of it. You've had enough and you were getting a little impatient now, resulting in your newfound confidence, so you asked,
“Can I be your valentine?”
This time the smile Ayato had didn’t seem teasing or deceiving. It seemed genuine.
“I’d love that.” He whispered before leaning in.
Note: Very very very very very late Valentine's post. I've been busy and only recently got around to writing. I was planning to do other characters (will be shorter) not sure if I can get them out before February ends though. THIS IS SO RUSHED TOO I'M SORRY

10% Battery Remaining
Fandom: Genshin Impact (Slight Modern AU)
Pairing: Albedo, Alhaitham, Cyno, Tartaglia x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Genshin characters and them letting you borrow a charger
Word Count: 816 for all about 160-260 for each
Warnings/Extra Notes: Slight cursing (Lmk if there's more!)
Albedo:
He would be so fascinated by the fact that you left your house with your phone almost dead and didn't think to pack a charger
Would probably stare at you a bit before silently passing over the charger
A very quiet but slightly judgmental interaction
Walking to an empty table in a far corner of the small library, you look down at your phone and notice the low battery warning. Cursing under your breath you start to look around for a familiar face hoping to ask them for a charger. During your frantic search you notice an absurdly tall stack of books at a table. Intrigued, you try looking around the stack and to your luck the boy behind it was someone you knew. Kinda. The boy was none other than the young genius Albedo. It would be a stretch to say you guys were friends, at most you guys would say hello in the halls. But you guys did share a class together so you decided that it would be fine to ask him for a charger. As you approached the table, Albedo seemed to notice your presence and look towards you. With a small smile you proceeded to ask if he had a charger you could borrow for a few minutes. There was a few seconds of him just staring at you before he slowly handed over a portable. You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding as you thanked him. As you were reaching for the charger Albedo added,
“You can sit here if you wish…”
Tumblr media
Alhaitham:
Imagine approaching him-
I’m sorry he’s hot and that's scary like I would let my phone die
But since you’re the main character OBVIOUSLY he would…
Probably ignore you I'M SORRY I CAN’T SEE HIM DOING ANYTHING
You were desperate at this point. You had walked out this morning in a rush and hadn’t noticed your phone was almost dead. Now you’re seated at the local tavern for lunch, trying to find a way to charge your phone. You were going to ask someone for a charger but decided against it, since you weren’t about to ask someone you don’t know. You considered making your own charger (you were an akademiya student, surely you could) when you caught a glimpse of gray hair walking past your table. While yes everyone knew Alhaitham, you were one of the few that had any sort of interaction with him outside of work. Thanking the archons above you started to approach him getting ready to ask him. But much to your surprise (not) Alhaitham had completely ignored you. Deciding you had embarrassed yourself enough you ended up asking one of the waiters if they had an extra charger. If it makes you feel better though he felt bad after realizing he was ignoring you (he didn’t mean it I swear)
Tumblr media
Cyno:
Did I really just add Cyno to this to make bad jokes?
Maybe.
But anyway! Assuming you guys are friends, he’s sweet, would give you a charger
You were sitting at a table with Cyno catching up. Both of you are very busy people and since you were busy you didn’t have the time to check up on little things. Little things in this case being your battery percent before you left the house. You were showing Cyno something on your phone when the low battery warning popped up. Cyno tilted his head slightly while asking if you forgot to charge your phone last night. You take a look at your phone to see what he’s talking about and finally notice how low your battery is. You let out a small laugh before asking if Cyno had a charger with him. He took your phone and plugged it into the charger he was using.
“This reminds me of a joke. Do you want to hear it? I bet it will shock you.” he asked with a slight smirk, getting ready to explain it.
Tumblr media
Tartaglia:
He would give it to you
But dear lord the teasing
(kinda enemies here)
You thought you charged your phone last night but, apparently not since your phone was dangerously close to dying right now. You were in the school lunchroom, the perfect place for multiple people with chargers. Surely one person would lend you their charger… Right? WRONG! You had asked at least seven different people and none of them lent you one. Now you could always ask Childe, but do you really want to? He clearly knew you needed a charger, he had his out and wasn’t even using it. Groaning, you decided to swallow your pride and ask him to borrow his. Childe’s smirk grew wider with each step you took towards him and honestly you were stupid to think he would just hand it over. No. This was Childe. Why would he?
“Now now, what’s the magic word?”  he asked wearing a huge grin.
Note: I wrote this in a car at like 2 in the morning im sorry ALSO I GOT THE CYNO JOKE FROM MY FRIEND I LOVE HER OMG (i couldnt think of one help)

M’lady
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Alhaitham, Ayato, Diluc, Kazuha, Tighnari x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Cute little things they would do that are (extremely) romantic
Word Count: For all - 727, Around 120-180 for each
Warnings/Extra Notes: None (lmk if there's any!!)
Al Haitham:
See the thing is, I don’t think he’d be big on PDA so anything he does is lowkey
I feel like he would be the type to do small gestures like the sidewalk rule
(IF ANYONE DOES THAT TO ME I WOULD DROP ON ONE KNEE AND PROPOSE-)
It was one of the rarer days you got to spend with the scribe, deciding to venture out into the markets. The streets of Sumeru were always busy and it was easy to get lost. But since you were with Al Haitham that would now be impossible. He’d always pull you away from larger crowds and wait until a stall is less crowded. He’d also always have an eye on you and his hand was always ready to whisk you away. Like just now, when someone bumped into you and Alhaitham immediately pulled you to his side while throwing a glare at the person. After that he would position himself so he would be on the receiving end of any harm.
“You should be more careful, you know?” him after calling you an idiot in his mind
Tumblr media
Ayato:
HE’S SUCH A TEASE
Look me in the eyes and tell me he wouldn’t get on one knee and kiss the back of your hand.
A cool breeze flew past you while you were waiting outside the Kamisato Estate. Just like any other day you were waiting for the head of the Kamisato Clan. And just like any other day Ayato walked up to you with a charming smile on his handsome face. Ayato believed you were nothing short of perfection and so he treated you like royalty. Taking your hand in his, he got on his knee and placed a gentle kiss on the back.
“How was your day my love?” he asked looking up at you smirking
Tumblr media
Diluc:
I can see him having drinks ready for both of you whenever he’s working at the tavern
He knows you’ll visit him so he just has them ready
It was finally night in Mondstat, the time when you would clock out from your job and Diluc would clock into his. Like clockwork, you would visit him every night after your shift. Opening the door to the tavern you caught a glimpse of a familiar redhead behind the counter. Smiling, you approach the seat right in front of the man and patiently wait for him to turn towards you. After a short while Diluc turns around and faces you with two drinks in hand,
“Hello darling,” he’d say with a slight smile while handing you your drink.
Tumblr media
Kazuha:
He would write you poems!!
Yk how he sits on the arrow shooter thing on the Alcor? Yeah he would sit there at night and think about how amazing you are.
And then write you poems!
It was a calm and peaceful night. The perfect night to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially if you’re on the Alcor. Kazuha was sitting out and thinking. Thinking about what? Why about you of course! About how pretty you look under the moonlight, how your sweet voice could calm anyone down, how anyone would fall in love with you if they met you. Unbeknownst to him, you had silently sat down next to him. You yourself were also thinking. About Kazuha of course! Finally, you let out a small chuckle to which Kazuha quickly snaps his head towards. His once wide eyes now turned to a soft stare once they landed on you.
“Come here, I want to share a poem with you.” he would say, slightly dragging you towards him.
Tumblr media
Tighnari:
He’d give flowers nicknames after you
Like instead of calling a rose a rose he’d call it [Name] because he thinks you’re as pretty as a flower
Something cheesy like that.
He’d also give you a bunch of flowers whenever
You were out on a stroll in Gandharva Ville when you decided you’d drop by and visit Tighnari. Walking up to the small building you proceeded to knock twice before walking in. Tighnari immediately perked up at the sound and turned his attention towards you. Noticing it was you, he picked up a Qingxin flower on his desk and met you halfway.
“What are you doing here? Did something happen?” he’d ask, tilting his head slightly while presenting the flower.
NOTE: I haven’t slept in days. But I wanted to get this out before I passed out sooo Also I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to pick out a flower to use in Tighnaris part like. I ended up with Qingxin because 1) I like xiao and 2) I googled it (which took way too long.) and it apparently means purity/pure heart/gentleness and I think Tighnari would think of you like that (or something similar). Also fluff because the angst hurt me <33

I Don’t Do Love
Fandom: Genshin Impact Pairing: Xiao x Reader Word Count: 910 Summary: You've grown to love Xiao, but does he feel the same? Warnings/Extra Notes: Angst, Slight cussing, Lumine is used as "the other girl"
In all honesty, you should've known what you were getting into when you met Xiao. Xiao, conqueror of demons, the last Yaksha Guardian, someone who wanted nothing to do with humans. Really you should have known better. But she was able to talk to him. She got close to him. He let her in. Then again, she was the Honorary Knight of Mondstat, savior of Liyue, the great traveler. What were you? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You’d probably be laughing at yourself if it didn’t hurt so damn bad.
Flashback
As the sun fell into the horizon, I started approaching the familiar inn. Today was the day I’d finally tell him how I felt! Or that’s what I was telling myself. I prepared for all the outcomes possible, if he rejects me, if he accepts it, all of it. Walking up the stairs to the roof I can’t help but think about the first time Xiao and I had met. I was going to Mondstat to visit some family and decided to stay at Wangshu Inn before continuing the long trip ahead. It was already night when I checked in and instead of eating a full dinner, I skipped straight to dessert, Almond Tofu! After asking if it was possible to eat outside in a less crowded area, Verr told me the roof was mostly empty at night and that's where I headed. I expected a few people but what I didn’t expect was the last Guardian Yakasha to be leaning on the railing. After a short amount of time spent deciding whether or not to go back inside, I chose to walk up next to the lonely Yaksha. He instantly snapped his head toward my direction, scaring me to the point where I almost dropped my plate. We kind of just stared at each other for a while but I always hated awkward silences so I spoke up,
“Uh hi? I hope I’m not interrupting anything,” I quietly said.
Despite my best efforts he only turned to look forward again and the awkward silence came right back. After a short while, I noticed him glancing at my plate. Coming to the conclusion that the Archons above had graced me with a second chance to talk to the Yaksha I spoke up again,
“Would you like some?” I asked with the best smile I could muster up.
To my surprise, the Yaksha actually looked flustered. Was he not expecting the offer? Or does he not talk to people often? I snapped back after hearing his voice for the first time,
“You don’t need to offer me any,” he said, turning his head forward once again.
His voice was so soft in the quiet night. I wanted to hear it again. Finally processing his words I felt a little sad knowing he didn’t expect my offer.
“But I insist! Please have some,” I replied as quickly as I could.
Pushing the plate towards him, he hesitantly grabbed the plate and took a small bite of the desert.
“I’m [Name], it’s nice to meet you.” I decided it was a good time to introduce myself.
He glanced over at me before replying, “I’m Xiao… Thank you.”
Thinking about how close the two of us have gotten and all the time we spent together suddenly gave me a huge boost of confidence.
“I guess what I’m trying to say is I like you. A lot.” I had confessed in a whisper, looking anywhere but at him.
The silence that had followed my confession wasn’t the comfortable one I was used to with Xiao. No this was different. I could feel my heart pounding rapidly against my chest, silently praying he says something, anything. After a few more seconds I hesitantly looked at him, he wasn’t looking at me. Why wasn’t he looking at me? A sudden feeling of dread washed over me as I stood there frozen in place. I reminded myself about how I prepared for rejection, it would be okay, we could still be friends. Everything would be okay. Right? A few more seconds pass and I finally see his lips move,
“[Name]...”
It’s been a couple days since that incident. I wanted to forget about it. I wanted to run away. I wanted Hu Tao to bury me already. But I couldn’t, no I said I would stay friends with him. No matter how much it hurt, I wanted to stay friends with him. So here I was, walking up the familiar steps up to the rooftop ready to face him. I stopped at the entrance, suddenly feeling deja vu. I see the back of the man I had come here to see. A slight smile fell on my lips as I started to walk forward. I stopped (again) when I noticed there was someone else with him. I recognized that blonde hair anywhere, the traveler. Now normally I wouldn’t stay and eavesdrop, but hell what else do I have to lose now. It’s been a minute and nothing’s happened. I was about to leave when I heard it. He laughed. Laughed might be too generous of a word. It was more like a really small chuckle, maybe a huff? But he was smiling. He was happy. He was happy with her.
“I don’t do love” He had told me that night.
I believed him.
But I was wrong. He didn’t do love for me. He loved for her.
