The flag I have as my pfp is the Aroacespec flag!

Which is just a combination of the Arospec flag and the Acespec flag!

(I’m just going to add a little something because I HAVE seen a few people who don’t understand what the spec means in aspec.)

Spec means spectrum. As asexuality and aromantism comes in many different shapes and forms.

Kinda a vent? (About me being arospec?)

I really thought I had everything figured out, turns out I probably don’t-

I’m trying SO hard to find out if I’m Arospike, Aegoromantic, or Orchidromantic-

(Or something else?)

My first relationship was a guy I had a crush on, but, when we started dating it kind of didn’t feel right? Like I wasn’t comfortable being in a relationship at all? And I think my crush on him might’ve disappeared? My second relationship was with a girl who I had a crush on, and when we started dating, I think my romantic attraction to her was so…..intense? (Which like, was so bad because she dumped me not long after we started dating-) I’ve had SO MANY crushes at school, which I guess DID fade a little bit as months went by, until the last day of school came where everyone was dressed really nicely, like in suits and dresses, which like, made me panic the whole day-

But anyway, I also feel like maybe I don’t want to be in a relationship? But I still want to have SOMETHING with someone? Like, I dunno a QPR probably? Unless I just want to think about having relationships bit don’t actually want to be in one? I’m so confused….

I don’t know who I am anymore.

Which is so hard for me to accept because I thought I was SO SURE about myself.

But now I don’t think I’ve ever been more confused in my life.

I’m starting to wonder if I’m even arospec at all, what if I just have something entirely different going on?

But anyway, I’m not really sure how I feel anymore. Everything is so confusing now.

I swear that I’ve practically researched every arospec identity, and I’m still not sure where I am.

Really hope I can figure this all out soon.

Although A lot of our Pride month is over. Some people still have a pride month! And it’s worth celebrating!

Today is the first day of disability Pride month!

Queer disabled people are important! They matter! They deserve to be seen just as much as non-disabled people! They deserve to be treated with love and respect! They deserve to be treated like humans!

Their disability doesn’t make them any less human! And it doesn’t make them any less important!

So support ALL disabled queer people!

(I apologize if I don’t make much sense, I just woke up, but I couldn’t not post this!)

Black: For those who have died due to their disabilities, medical negligence, ableist violence or suicide

Blue: Mental illness

Yellow: Intellectual and developmental disability

White: Invisible or undiagnosed disability

Red: Physical disability

Green: Sensory disability

Acespec storytime

Just something that happened yesterday.

I went out to eat with my family, we ate some pizza.

While we were eating, my mom was talking with my siblings about something, I wasn’t really paying attention to what they were saying.

BUT OUT OF NOWHERE-

I hear my mom say “Whatever, I’ve seen the pervy sh!t SOME of you look up.”

I didn’t look up at her, I continued to eat my food and tried to make it seem like I wasn’t listening-

I COULDN’T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH HER-

I was SWEATING!

My brother is aroace, so the only suspects we really had were me (an aegosexual) and my other sibling (who is Pansexual).

My sibling is learning how to draw bodies. (They’ve even shown me some of their work. They only draw top parts of the body though, and if they draw a woman, the chest is covered by a bra.)

And my mom knows about that, so whatever my sibling looks up isn’t too out of the ordinary!

But then that just leaves me! Someone who doesn’t need practice on drawing bodies, and is an aegosexual on the internet. (My mom doesn’t know I’m aego)

She wasn’t really upset about the situation though! Just wanted to embarrass us! (Or just embarrass me-)

All I can say is, I walked out of the restaurant HORRIFIED. And now I don’t think I’ll ever stop thinking about this-
