cater has to keep his image, and that for sure includes self care. he’d more than love to have you along!

cater lets you pick out his colors, but definitely prefers red, black, or gold. he’s willing to do whatever you think looks best on him, as long as it isn’t something absolutely atrocious.

takes selfies of you two and pictures of the finished product. for sure posts them with a funny caption.

ruggie — !

way more reluctant, but will do anything for some snacks.

ruggie goes with the typical black on his fingernails. you try to persuade him into getting something different, but he doesn’t budge. you already offered snacks, so there’s not much more convincing you can do.

won’t let anyone touch his feet. just really does not like it. it’s a vulnerability that he’s not willing to just let out in the open. they’re just ticklish.

the type who’s down for anything, especially if you ask. you both try to get jade to come along but he’s a bit more hesitant, so you just let him be.

fingers crossed the nail tech gets what he wants correct because his attitude for the rest of the day depends on it.

kalim is so down! he’s used to being pampered, but it hits different when he’s with you. it’s just way more fun

malleus in general would do whatever you asked at any time. so of course he says yes when you ask him to come along

is incredibly tense the entire time, especially during the pedicure. isn’t very fond of someone touching him in general, much less his feet.

also goes for plain black. you tease him for being boring, and he cracks a smile.

subtly tells the nail tech they can add a few green accents, just to make you happy

this one is honestly a given. lilia finds you and your little hobbies incredibly amusing and is willing to give into your whims almost every time

he’s joking and telling stories the entire mani-pedi, and the techs are for sure annoyed with him, but he doesn’t care. he’s having fun

A Father's Love...

HIII!! My exams and defense are done and am just preparing for our moving up from HS! So I am kinda free now but will only post whenever ideas would pop out hihi!

And finally another not-so-angsty post!

Platonic! Diasomnia boys x Male!Reader/Yuu

Summary: Lilia adopted two lovely human infants. Who he ended up raising and loving so so much. Malleus and Sebek likes them too.

It all started when an ancient fae with magenta pink eyes, proceed to wander in the forest when he smell something that have burnt probably hours ago. Following where the smell came from he found himself in what seemed to be a human village.

Almost everything was consumed by the fire yet he can still sense a life underneath the burnt debris.

And he was indeed correct. A baby is hidden bundled in multiple layers of cloth, laying in a pile of debris, embraced by a female human who seemed to be it's mother.

What surprise him more was how calm it was even when facing him a fae he was so used to children crying as soon as they saw him.

The little human stared at him curiously as it coughs and sneezes because of the ashes.

Picking it up and cradling it in his arms as he cooed. "I've decided! From now on you'll be my child! Silver will be so excited to have a little brother! Let us get you to your new home!" He said as the baby snuggled at him while giggling.

Day by day Lilia would fall in love deeper with the children he is taking care of. Both young and naive, sweet and adventurous. Oh how he was so happy to be this fortunate enough to have them.

Yet both unique and brilliant in there own ways. Silver his first son, easily befriended all the animals in the forest, they served as his playmates other than his brother. He was also very passionate for swordmanship and magic whilst, the his other son, Yuu although has so little magic, he on the other hand tames beasts not just regular ones, monsters and such! He even has a cat like monster as his companion, that he named grim.

He was definitely excited to finally introduce them to Malleus. They would be fitting companions and make strong guards of the young prince.

It would even help Malleus feel less lonely! But since human's have very short lifespan he'll just have to cast a spell or two to lengthen it.

And his plan did work, Silver may have been a bit on guard at first. Yuu on the other hand practically grabbed Malleus's hand and dragged him to play, even gave him a cute yet funny nickname "Tsunotaro," that the dragon prince liked so so much. The three of them were inseparable.

And Lilia was proud and happy for them all, they were like a very odd yet loving family

Another one a half fae and man, was soon added in the family.

An absolute 'simp' for Malleus Yuu exclaimed.

Although at first, they were quite confused with the words he would often use since Yuu was far too adventurous and often follows modern trends, and all. They sorta got used to it since they would also explain it afterwards.

As peaceful life can be it with them like a family some little bird would always try to go out of their nest.

Lilia expected it. He knew it knowing how Mc would tend to go on little adventures by themselves, and the fact that they would always try to follow to trends and such.

His little baby now a teen in human standards wanting to go out and explore.

He knew really well that Mc loves them all and treasures them dearly that they would teach them about he new things they would learn and all but he was still not that ready.

What if they get hurt? Worst they got killed! What if the spell to lengthen their life would disperse?! Without them who knows what would happen to his child...He knew fully well that Mc can handle himself may be weak in magic but was a great beast tamer and was very skilled with weapons and such.

But he couldn't help but worry yet he doesn't want to keep them from doing what their heart desires.

"...Father."

"I know. I know it's been the nth time you asked that question but...I'm just really worried for you."

"I know father, I love you too even my brother, Sebek, and finally Malleus-sama. Im' really grateful for you and everything you did for me, even if I am a human. I know I was meant to be Malleus's guard but I can't help it! I really wanna go around the world! I swear I won't die without informing any of you."

"Well, that's reassuring..."

"I have grim with me anyways and I'm sure we'll meet again! You know I won't die easily!”

Lilia sighed deeply making his final decision. "Alright! Just promise me to contact us every now and then ESPECIALLY when you're in danger! Great seven! having my baby bird leave it's nest is too painful! And...always remember that we all love you, okay?”

"Thank you father! I really really love you!" He said as he jumped on Lilia giving him a tight yet loving embrace.

Mc immediately started packing saying his goodbyes and all. To set out to his adventure.

He did keep his promises by messaging and calling them every morning and night, sending pictures of the things he was doing, and even sending reports about his whole day.

Although Lilia still felt quite lonely and worried about his son, he was really happy to know he was having so much fun.

Soon after Malleus decided to go attend Night Raven College and Lilia sorta forgot to inform his son about it and was only able to when he remembered it on when Silver asked about it when his freshman was about to end. Lilia was weirder out when his son only 'seen' it and shrugged it off thinking he was busy.

A few months passed and it was another new year in school.

Lilia was now walking down to the halls toward the mirror chamber and was surprised as soon as he opens the door.

"Grim! I told you not to do anything rash!”

"Hmph! How could I you stupid human it was so stuffy inside that coffin!"

"It's a portal you idiot!"

"Whatever, I'll be a much greater wizard than you!! So just give me that damn robe!”

"Grim, if father were to see us right now he'll be so disappointed AND it will ruin the surprise!"

"Well, this sure is a lovely surprise, Mc."

"AH! Father! Hehe he...surprise~!" He said awkwardly.

"Well, it already happened. You've grown so much my sweet little baby."

"I'm not a baby anymore father!" He said with a bright smile.

"Well, for us fairies. You are still but a baby! Now where's my hugs!" He said then Mc ran jumping at him with a huge grin.

"I missed you!”

"Fufufu~ I missed you too, my sweet child."

"Hehe, Where is Malleus-aama anyway?...don't tell me."

"Whoops he might have been misinformed."

"AGAIN..."

FAQ

What’s the point of this blog?

It’s a place for me to put all of my updates and additional materials (fake social media posts / texts, reference photos, headcanons) for my fanfictions

What’s with the username?

i came up with it when i was like... thirteen, I think. I couldn’t figure out if I was a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw, so I claimed them both.

So, are you a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw?

Slytherin. I have some Ravenclaw tendencies (I value learning, want to learn all of the things) but in the end I’m too ambitious and determined to be a Ravenclaw

Where are you from?

I’m from the east coast in the USA, but I’ve lived in Germany, as well

Which languages do you speak? You use other languages a lot in your fics.

English, French, German, Russian, and the tiniest bits of Hebrew and Yiddish.

for Russian, though, when I use it in fics, I do not transliterate anything. Transliteration of Russian varies a lot, and I’ve never been happy with any transliterations I’ve attempted

I’m an English native speaker, though, so if you see any errors in any other languages that I may make, please correct me.

Who are you favourite characters?

From Harry Potter, always Neville and Luna (and i know the cursed child is the book which must not be named but i also adore Scorpius Malfoy)

From Miraculous Ladybug, Adrien and Alya

From Yuri on Ice!!!, Yuri Plisetsky, Otabek Altin, and Jean-Jacques Leroy, in that specific order.

What are your OTPs?

Harry Potter: Neviluna

ML: the love square (in any iteration) and also DJWifi.

YOI: Otayuri first and foremost, but also JJBella

Do you have any NOTPS?

HP: Literally any professor/student relationships, and also reciprocated Dramione, and Snape/Lily. And James/Lily (even though it’s canon)

ML: Anything that ships Chloé with someone she’s bullied repeatedly (be it Nathaniel or Marinette or someone else).

YOI: the only one i have for this is any iteration of Yuri with Victor and/or Yuuri.

Like in general, I steer clear of anything that’s bullies / the people they bullied.

as someone who was bullied a lot in school i Do Not Get This in any way and it makes me deeply uncomfortable when people insist bullying = crush.

Will the characters get together in your fic?

for my giant monster of a ML fic, “What Happens on Erasmus...” absolutely.

for the “It Started With A Cat Café” series, eventually, but yes. In the series if not in the fic you’re reading itself.

Can the Cat Café series be read individually?

absolutely. there may be references to other events in other fics in the series, but they’re all meant to be able to stand alone as well.

Which fandoms do you follow?

fanfic-wise, YOI, ML, and Harry Potter (as always).

Why is everyone Jewish in your fanfics?

With the exception of Otabek, I think the better question is why do you assume that they can’t be Jewish?

(with Otabek, it’s because I think he and Yuri both being Jewish is a really nice way to underline the fact that they’re soulmates and belong together. Otabek being Jewish in my fics is intentional creative license as I’m aware that he was absolutely intended to be Muslim)

okay but seriously

re: Nathaniel: he’s word-of-god confirmed Jewish, and besides that, he has the same surname as Jack Kirby who was the Jewish badass who not only brought us some of our favourite superheros, but actively tried to fight Nazis when they came to his office and had to be forcibly restrained.

re: Yuri: his last name is Plisetsky, and he was almost certainly named for Maya Plisetskaya (upon whom Lilia is certainly based), who was a very prominent and famous Jewish Soviet ballerina. Regardless of whether or not the intention was to make Yuri Jewish, it’s much more likely that he is with a surname like that than isn’t. How observant or secular he might be is another question, since he definitely does eat pork. I go with “raised Jewish, but isn’t particularly observant himself”

Was [x] a reference to [y]?

probably. i like to try to write like Judith Hermann but with all of the random-ass obscure references of Daniel Handler.

Speaking of, which (non-fanfic) authors do you love?

I love Gertrud Kolmar, Bertolt Brecht, Ernst Erich Noth, JKR, Carrie Fisher, and, even though he’s Problematic™ I’ll always have a soft spot for John Green’s novels.

Although Judith Hermann’s short stories feature exactly the kind of people I hate from Berlin, I love her writing style. And even though Daniel Kehlmann is a pretentious ass, I love his writing style as well (and I seriously admire how prolific he is bc goddamn).

I also loved the one book I read by Maryse Condé (Moi, Tituba, sorcière noire de Salem). I love her style, and I love the intertextuality she employs to emphasise her point. I’d like to read more of her works when I have more time.

For literary movements, I’m always a sucker for French naturalisme, German expressionism, and Neue Sachlichkeit. Because I like reading depressing things and then turning around to write tooth-rotting fluff, apparently.

Are any of those (non-English/American) writers you mentioned available to read in English?

Brecht, Hermann, and Condé, definitely. I think Kehlmann’s been translated, and I know Noth’s works were translated in the thirties but the translations are... not very great, and difficult to get a hold of, besides. Some of Kolmar’s poems are translated.

Did you study literature?

Yes! I studied German, French, and Russian language and literature, as well as German history (with a self-developed focus in German Jewish history).

Wait, studied? How old are you?

Twenty-four.

Do you have a personal blog?

Yes, but for certain reasons, I prefer not to list it publicly. If you’d like my personal blog, just message me off anon and I’ll give it to you!

Will you ever finish [fic that was last updated more than a few months ago]?
