Billy knows when you have a headache. He can see it in the way you hold your shoulders, can hear it in the shortness of your voice. He knows that you go quiet when you’re hurting so that you don’t accidentally snap at him or anyone else. He admires your restraint, but it kills him because you’re in pain and you won’t tell him. So, one of the times you’re quiet and tense in his passenger seat, Billy reaches over and begins to gently rub your neck. He wasn’t expecting you to break down crying because of how good it felt. From that point on, Billy loved helping when you had headaches. He’d smirk as he came up behind you, muttering something about “his magic touch” as you all but collapsed from the relief. You’d be annoyed at him if he wasn’t so good at it.

i have finished the safe haven baby fic she shall be out tomorrow at dawn (midday) but you can have a tiny little snippet from the no rizz kink fic for @jamietarts
It all starts in the station parking lot the morning after their second date—it just kind of spirals from there. Eddie follows him out to his Jeep, which isn't entirely unheard of, but the jittery energy that's been emanating from him for the last few hours of their shift is completely uncharacteristic. It sets Buck on edge. He's grown, he's back in therapy, he's learnt to trust Eddie with his heart as well as his back, but there's always going to be that quiet little voice telling him that Eddie's about to call things off between them.
Except...
Well, that's not what happens.
"Okay, I understand why Hen and Chim get so irritated when my leg bounces in the engine now," Buck mutters as he turns to face his shadow. Eddie blinks at the sudden attention, shoulders hunching.
"H-hi, Buck," he says.
"Hi, Eddie," Buck says slowly. "Want to tell me why you've been following me around like a little duckling?"

Rules: Without using any images, describe your ideal place to write :)
I've always written on the train or the bus, so it's defo on the bus for me
It should be one of those half-empty buses where I can have a row of seats to myself (and one where the AC works because 35°C weather is not fun to write in)
It should be dawn (7am or so where I live) so I can look out the window and see the sunrise (also no grease on my windows pls)
I'd have of my playlists on (probably my most chill one) and put some essential oils on my wrists for a nice smell
Tagging @diabolical-blue, @njnetails, @kaylinalexanderbooks, @bodoramzap, @possiblylisle, @possiblyeldritch and anyone else who thinks this could be fun! (It is haha)
Thinking about Billy’s hand resting on the back of the passenger seat where you’re sitting as he looks over his shoulder to back up. Thinking about how his hand lingers there as he keeps driving, sliding down to absently tug at your hair and rub the nape of your neck. Even though he does it without thinking, Billy can’t help but smirk when you lean back into his hands, loving the way you trust him, loving the way you respond to his touch.
can i get 'You can barely keep your eyes open.. When was the last time you slept?' with Thorin Oakenshield?
Yes of course, I haven't written for Thorin in a while and I am exhausted so it shouldn’t be too hard to write a sleepy reader <3 I hope you enjoy, anon :)
For you-
You jerked upright at the feel of a hand on your shoulder, the dagger you had been cleaning dropping to the ground.
“Are you all right?” Dwalin looked down at you, his concerned face illuminated by the campfire’s flickering flames.
“Of course,” you rubbed at your sore eyes and bent to retrieve the dagger. “I just got lost in thought for a moment.”
“You can barely keep your eyes open.” Thorin’s voice rumbled from his seat by the fire.
You straightened to see him studying you, his gaze causing your heart to stutter. “When was the last time you slept?” He asked.
“I offered to take the night watch.”
“For the past four nights.” Kili looked more worried than Dwalin. “I told you, Uncle.”
“Kili,” you hissed, getting to your feet in order to prove that you were, in fact, fine.
Only to promptly fall to the ground.
For Thorin-
“Here,” you balanced the bowl of stew in your hands as you sat beside Thorin at the edge of the campfire. “Eat this.”
Thorin grimaced. “I take orders from no one.” He grumbled, accepting the stew.
“You should have thought about that before you began courting me.” You offered him a smile despite the worry furrowing your brow. “You can barely keep your eyes open...When was the last time you slept?”
“I’m fine, darling.” Thorin looked at you, his gruffness disappearing as he noted the worry etched into your face. “You worry too much about me.” He moved to press a kiss to your forehead, such a public gesture of affection rare and welcome.
“Another thing you should have considered before our courtship,” You smiled as you kissed his cheek. “My king.”
