Joshua Graham (Canon) Joshua Graham, “The Burned Man,” appears as an NPC in the Honest Hearts DLC for Fallout: New Vegas. (said DLC is likely riddled with problems related to Native American representation) But Graham is a popular character, he is a legendary figure in the history of the Mormons, the Legion, and tribes of former northwestern United States. Born in New Canaan, Graham experienced both the lofty heights of power and the depths of despair, first as the military commander of the Legion under Edward Sallow, then as the fallen Burned Man and a prodigal son. His stubborn refusal to die after being cast into the Grand Canyon elevated him to mythical status, striking fear into the hearts of superstitious legionaries and members of tribes of Utah and neighboring states. He also said the following quotes: “I survived because the fire inside burned brighter than the fire around me.” “ I have been baptized twice, once in water, once in flame. I will carry the fire of the holy spirit inside until I stand before my Lord for judgment.” Born and raised in New Canaan, a Mormon settlement in post-apocalypse Ogden, Utah. He served as a missionary to the Blackfoot tribe, co-founded a fascist replica of Rome, then realized the error of his ways after being set on fire and thrown off the Hoover Dam. He returned to New Canaan, found acceptance, rekindled his faith, and now seeks redemption and revenge against the legion he founded.

Will Jensen (Canon) Will Jensen is the front man of Everclean, the hot new boy band straight outta Utah. He could be a great leader, if only his ego didn't get in the way. Will has a strong relationship with mormonism, but has a bit of a rebellious streak (if you can call growing a beard rebellious).

I was trying to make a destiel breaking news meme about trump’s mugshot, but I fell asleep mid sentence

Back in November of 2020, I tried explaining to my mother what was happening within the Supernatural fandom, which she understood none of. I told her about it so often that whenever I'd go "oh god not again" near her, she'd say "what language did they go canon in this time?"

Jump forward to now, November 3rd 2023, and I receive these texts from my mother:

i love that jensen ackles has become like. a well known and respected actor ever since he played soldier boy in the boys but i still see him pop up in social media all the time talking about bringing back supernatural. like he's committed. the spinoff didnt even do that well and he still won't shut the fuck up about doing another season or making a movie or whatever. i fear the deangirlism is fatal. he's like a musician on the titanic it's all or nothing he's sinking with this fucking ship dude

So this is going to be more of a stream of conciousness about a potential upcoming fic than a directors cut of an existing fic BUT here we go.

Cause I am contemplating doing Febuwhump if I finish whumptober in the next month to encourage myself to keep working on my whumpy multichapters and cause I work better with challenges. On the Febuwhump list is Time Loop. Now I have wanted to write a time loop for ages but have never settled on an idea I think that I could see through enough bad times itterations ... until today. And that is a Strike Back S6 Ep8 Time Loop (putting the rest under the cut incase people don't want spoilers)

For me there needs to be three things for an effective time loop:

Something that is initially obvious as the "thing that needs to be fixed"

Multiple different ways that could be fixed

Things that could go to shit around that central thing

And if you focus in on Saving Will Jensen's Life then there's so much to play with in that shitshow of a day. That's the concept of this fic - Gracie Novin wakes up in Jensen's hospital room as he sleeps ... but she's already lived this, Jensen is dead at the hands of their boss and the terrorist threat is resolved. Then she finds out it isn't and she's living that fateful day again. Novin believes that in whatever fever dream this is she needs to save Jensen but that's not the whole story. Like in one loop she keeps Jensen in the hospital but not having him on the comms for Mac and Wyatt his unintended consequences on their mission etc.

So yeah, that's my idea that I wanted to talk about from today 🙈
