OKAY. I got up and chatted with my roommates and (very nicely) asked my mud-tracking roommate to not track mud in the bathroom, and I got myself a little bowl of peanut butter to tide me over until I pick up my friend and go get fried chicken.

#this peanut butter is the first thing i've eaten today. it's 5:19 pm. i have GOT to get better about this.#i'm TRYING but it keeps happening.#i've been doing better though! i've been very consistently getting AT LEAST one meal a day and almost always 2 for the last several years.#which is progress.#AND i showered last night AND washed and changed my sheets even though i didn't feel like it.#so i may not be fed but i'm CLEAN. and i'll be fed in an hour.#personal #food #eating

I tried using a more textured brush for the highlights because it looked too smooth and the dark, cloudy sky in the background I did with watercolor. I think all the extra textures are kind of fun to look at? Maybe? But anyway, here's how it looks without all the interesting lighting. I'm not sure if the first one is too much?

the book ice court heist has big group project involving people who don’t like each other vibes but the tv version is just going to be forced couples counseling via trying not to die together

relatedly i'm not entirely willing to let go of the reading of tolkien as environmental, like i think there's a lot to be said for it i really like & would stand by. but at the same time i do think some of that reading has to be tempered with an understanding of how anti-industrialism can very much lead to or go hand in hand with a sort of idealization of pre-industrial (particularly rural) life in a way that's both ultimately conservative and overlooks a lot of issues, particularly to do with class. if that makes sense

more of my i can make him worse au hiii. teru goes with mob for mogamis exorcism & gets possessed as bait for mob. keiji realizes this kid was the spitting image of the lesson he was trying to teach so when mob gets thrown into his scape, he’s found himself abruptly transferred to black vinegar middle school where he struggles, to say the least.

edano and his boys bully him pretty relentlessly until teru finally takes notice of him and creates this messy possessive bubble around shigeo where only he gets to bully and fuck w him (🏳️‍🌈❓) until mob gets so angry his powers begin to reawaken and teru POUNCES on him for a fight. except this time, teru wins, and gives mob an ultimatum to become his little esper guard dog in return for a socially lavish lifestyle.
