He knew that you loved doing things like that and seeing that you were accepted just made his heart just so full of pride. He was the first person you told and he was so proud of you for following through with your dreams.

He would not have been as vocal as some of the other members of how proud of you getting a part in a voice over but he would show it. He would post about it on his Instagram, Weverse, and shoot he'd be one of the reasons your film did so good on streaming services when it *finally* released. He was so proud of you, and you knew it. <3

He'd be pretty similar to Vernon in showing you how proud he was however, he would be a bit more vocal about it? Even though he is one of the shyer members, seeing how excited you were when you found out you got that role would spark something in him that would be just so loving and awww. idk im soft

He would show love and pride by gifts. He'd buy you flowers, your favorite snacks, anything. He would also be so excited he would tell the members the exciting news when he was at practice. ohhh myyy gosh~ Seungkwan would be your personal cheerleader ever since you were thinking about auditioning for the role. He would read lines with you, he would "act" out scenes, and would send coffee trucks for you on days you were filming. He was so proud of his best friend, his significant other, his soulmate. <333

Like Seungkwan, Channie would be your biggest cheerleader and supporter. After day 1 of filming, he would be on set with your favorite drink, snacks, and flowers and would have the biggest smile on his face. He was so so proud of you. Your voice was one of his most favorite noises in the world and he was so excited the world would be able to hear it as well. He also would get cocky? Like he would tell people "you know who voiced this? (Y/N), aka my perfect girlfriend/boyfriend. Isn't her voice just so nice?" wripewjribweir

After finding out that you got the role, you both were jumping up and down screaming in excitement. You had been praying, manifesting, and wishing for years to become a voice actor and it finally came true. Seokmin was so excited that he was with you when you got that phone call because he knew how stressed and nervous you were post audition. He would give you a big hug and say "see! I told you! I told you they would pick you!"

So y'all remember when Wonwoo went "awoo" while watching Mingyu's fancam? (for those who don't or just want the friendly reminder here lol.) This is how he would react to you being a voice actor. Especially in a Marvel film?? In his eyes, he won the friggin jackpot! When they were on tour, he would always put on your film on and would be so happy whenever your parts came on. He would always take a picture of your character and send it to you. It was honestly very precious. <3

✭ Hoshi ~

Oh he would be so ecstatic like Seokmin. When you found out you ran to the dance practice room just so you could tell him before anyone else could. When he saw you he'd give you a hug out of instinct but once you *casually* told him you got the role he would pick you up and spin you around. He would then shout and tell whoever else in the room the happy news causing everyone else to cheer.

✭ Jun ~

He would have found out from a news source before you had the opportunity to tell you. He'd be at your door with a bouquet of flowers and take out from your favorite restaurant. He would just be smiling so wide and kept telling you congratulations. Like Seungkwan, he would read lines to help practice. He was just so happy that you both had another and new thing in common. <3

✭ S. Coups ~

Cheolie would have reservations at your favorite restaurant as soon as you both found out. He would keep smiling at you like a proud dad lol , because he is daddy af, and would continuously tell you how proud of you he was of you getting this role. He would be similar to Jihoon and shower you with gifts. He also decided that for the movie premiere he would buy the dress you would wear and make sure his suit matched. <3

✭ Mingyu ~

Speaking of movie premieres, Mingyu was the perfect date for you. He would show up for you both in front and behind the cameras. He knew what it was like to be in front of flashing cameras and when you had told him you were nervous about that, he would take your hand in his and kiss it and tell you there was nothing to worry about because he was right there with you. <3 // besides attending the premiere, he would also take you on a celebratory date, help with lines, drive you to the filming, stay with you on late night shoots, and just show how much he loved and supported you in any way he could think fit. Jeonghan found out shortly after you did because you had been crying on the floor because you were shocked by the news. When he finally got it out of you he was so proud of you. He ended up kissing you all over your face and whispering congrats to you over and over again. He would be wiping away your happy tears and then would ask more about your role. He wanted to know everything.

javier has gone from being so suspicious of lloyd he was willing to investigate him in secret and then subtly warning him that he was keeping an eye on him:

to straight up helping lloyd to come up with a lie to explain this sudden new ability he has:

like!!! he's not even subtle about it!! he doesn't even give lloyd plausible deniability, he doesn't give him an out, a convenient excuse or just a helpful push, something like 'oh is this something you picked up from a dark wizard in a fight?', no, he just,,, straight up asks lloyd what lie he's gonna go with so javier can back him up.

this is javier telling lloyd 'i know you're lying to me, i know there's things you're not telling anyone and i'm not going to ask, just tell me what i need to say so i can help you' which,,,, fucking hell man. the absolute trust!! javier is absolutely loyal to the frontera family, so for him to know that lloyd is being suspicious and hiding stuff and still being willing to go along and outright help him??? it's because he just trusts him that much. he trusts him with the most important thing for him. he trusts that he won't betray the family that took and raised him since he was a child.

and it's not just a 'he's not dangerous' sort of trust. it's a 'he will help' sort of trust which is even more amazing.

javier has full trust that lloyd will help. lloyd will save the people of the estate. he will protect the frontera family.

and that's why he's willing to not just not ask questions but help make a believable story he'll back up if needed

and lloyd let's him! lloyd accepts the help!! he now knows that javier will be there if he needs the help!!! that to a certain extent he doesn't need to be as careful around javier because already knows something and while it isn't the full story it certainly means lloyd can lower his guard aroung him to a a degree that he hadn't allowed himself before!

and when i tell you this fucking broke me man ajkshdjkafds

it's definitely a big change from the novel but one i was soooo interested in!! i wanted so badly to know where they were taking this!! it changed so much of the dynamic between javier and lloyd and the way their future interactions will go!! the emotional conflict depends on the way these two trust and tell each other what they think the other needs or doesn't need to know!! so for the webcomic to change such a significant part of their dynamic so early on in the story??? massive change!! very interesting!!

but seeing the way the latest chapters have been (and sometimes just,,, not) handling the more earnest moments, i'm kinda scared ajdshfjkdas

i just hope this was done in order to let them be closer in a way they weren't allowed in the novel and not to diminish the impact and emotional weight of the latter part of the plot :/

but i'm keeping my hopes up and hoping we get more moments like these in the future where we get to see more of the trust that's developing between these two!! because it makes me sick in the head and i love that for me <3

Okay, can we please talk about how some of the biggest R/L supporters/shippers are Dany stans? Like....IDK....just spitballing here....but I probably wouldn't support the relationship that produced my fave's killer and caused Dany to have to gone on the run and be sold as a bridal slave to the Dothraki at the age of 13 in the first place.....but I guess that's just me!! I'm built different! I get that they are coping with the, 'ThE BoOkS ArE goINg To bE DifFeREnT' which 1) sure jan and 2) what books lmaoooo.

The only time I have ever seen Dany/Targ stans be critical of R/L is in the immediate aftermath of the GOT finale when they were absolutely fuming and started talking shit about Jon and Rhaegar. Saw a Dany fan/Jonerys shipper say that Jon Snow is the best argument in favor of abortions and against having affairs and when I tell you I SCREAMED lmaooooo. And I saw another Dany stan say that Dany would have been alive, and well and happy if only Rhaegar could keep it in his pants and lmaooooooooooooooo.

But now that time has passed and they are coping using the books it's back to R/L apologia because they think Jon is necessary in order to be Dany's sperm donor/Harwin Strong-esque hubby or whatever in order to bring about Targ Restoration (tm). It's all so deeply unserious. lol.

It confounds the shit out of me!!!!! Lmao! Like you’re a fan of the guy that ensured Daenerys would spend so many years of her life in agony?

I think it stems from the fact that Daenerys’s father was a rapist psycho and Viserys was just as bad, therefore they want Daenerys to have someone to look up to that isn’t horrible.

However the fact is Daenerys never met Rhaegar so any feelings she has are pure idealistic projection. People like Jorah is a slaver and into little girls Mormont spoke positively about him but that’s not saying much.

My hope for Daenerys and my hopeful expectation of her is that she was always meant to surpass Rhaegar. Rhaegar Perfect Prince Targaryen who believed he was TPTWP or that it was HIS SON. Never fathomed that it couldn’t be him. She surpasses all the egotistical male Targaryens who came before her.

Yeah if we’re being absolutely realistic most not all but most Daenerys Stans love Jonerys within the strict parameters that Daenerys is Ruling Queen & Jon is a subservient Prince, just like many Jon Snow stans think he’s Rhaegar’s real heir (Rhaegar who saved the world with his penis) and will be the ultimate King Aegon with Daenerys as one of many happily subservient Princess consorts.

The copium that these two will bring on a Targ restoration is just that pure copium 😭

That’s not to say they won’t have a relationship I think the possibility is there? but I sincerely doubt it will match any of the fan’s expectations.

I do hope the books will come😭 call me gullible but I have faith

Reading your posts remind me that Shin Ae was having a dream about Nol most likely before he woke up at the hospital. It’s very possible her realization can come in a dream because now he’s voiced something she never considered. Dieter could interpret what he saw as romantic. She can dream of this. It’s possible with the way Quim writes. I’m on Patreon too now and she likes her “fever dream” concepts. A dream might be the most wholesome way to realize she’s in love. To savor him and wake up to the emptiness and realize she wants it. Tealize why she cares so much. This might be canon. Who knows. Quim loves to surprise us.

Waaaaaah thank you!!!! Idk why but I feel especially happy that people have been looking at what my friends say? Everyone is so clever and most importantly - so wonderfully feral lmao - that it makes yelling about our feelings even more fun! ILY is a fandom gifted with passionate fans, haha!

I'm ESPECIALLY happy when people appreciate when I write about Kousuke and Alyssa! The more I wrote about them, the more I came to appreciate their characters and while many people will always dislike them, I always hope I can at least convince people to appreciate them for what they are and how they drive the story. We wouldn't have ILY without them!

I've seen other people saying that about what she was dreaming before he woke up, too! And it wouldn't be the first time she's dreamt of him in some form. @somebody-909 has written fantastic analyses and I've always loved this one about the bird in the dream Shinae has during break. That it represents a subconscious awareness of Nol slipping away from her and slipping through her fingers at the time is SO good, and it definitely feels so in the episode where she lmao literally stalks him at work.

But YEAH I feel like it would be VERY in line with how quimchee writes? My friends and I were joking that lmao what if the "kiss we'll see during season one" turns out to be a dream kiss alfjakjfkjfakjafjaf lmao (I mean the jokes have long-since written themselves. What if it's Yujing pecking Shinae's cheek at the restaurant) but it just alfjkkjf WOULDN'T IT BE SO FUNNY AND AGONIZING?! Realistically I don't think Shinae and Nol are in the place to jump into a relationship yet - not because they're "broken people" or anything like that but just the general circumstances: Dieter, Shinae's confused feelings, Nol literally going to jail in 3 days lmao. But it would be such a clever way to give a TASTE of what a lot of people are chomping at the bit for without compromising the characters or where they stand, right? And what a SATISFYING way to figure out you have strong feelings for your friend lmaooooo The idea of Dieter actually being there to really make her see isn't something I'd considered but I like it - because the idea is really that she's going to end up mulling over this and how it specifically relates to Dieter's feelings for her, so it wouldn't surprise me to see that appear in the dream lol.

I love you Shinae but boy you are too close to the picture to see it for what it is. You gotta step back and take in the details from afar, like a Monet lol

OK first of all: At no point did I see the end of Boy Blue coming. Every little detail of that story was so masterfully woven, I read it with my heart pounding and my jaw on the FLOOR. Maybe because I just binged Boy Blue, the parallels are obvious to me, but MY GOD YOU ARE A GENIUS.

You two get into a fight and doesn’t fix it since Giyuu’s communication is bad. It ends up in you walking away.

Nighttime and demons are lurking around in the forest as you take a stroll to clear your mind. Then a demon launches on you but thanks to your quick reflexes you dodge.

It’s a strong demon, close enough to become one of the lower moons. But nothing you can’t handle.

Giyuu senses a demon nearby and he frantically searches for you. *sim dads reaction when the mother goes into labor lmaooooo*

Lights fill up an area of the forest from the techniques you use. In like 2 strikes the demon dies.

He finally finds you as the demon’s ashes blow away. Your hair is dramatically blowing too.

He’s just staring at you then hugs you “I’m sorry. I’m not underestimating you…I just want to protect you.”

Then all good. He’s amazed by how strong you are despite you’re short stature. You’re going to missions together and sometimes he just watches you finish off the demon. Just happy to see that satisfied smile you have when you kill a demon.

Muichiro Tokito

When he first met you at the pillar meeting, he muttered his thoughts, wondering how could someone be that small? You’re in the same age but you’re small.

Shinobu heard him since she was beside him and said “that’s rude to ask someone”. She’s lowkey offended.

Tengen retorts to Muichiro. “You’re small too…??”

Since it’s rude, he kept his mouth shut. You’re the same age as him when you entered the corps. He thinks you’ll grow up anyway.

Surprise surprise you grew up, 2 inches. But still small.

He gets nervous a bit around you since puberty did you good. Won’t admit it though.

Cue swordsmith village arc

He’s having trouble dealing with Gyokko. (I hate his face. It’s weird and ugly.)

Then minutes later, you show up out of nowhere, giving great damage to the demon.

“Are you okay?” you ask him with concern and you two fight off the fish demon.

He’s in awe because you actually took over the fight. Sure you have injuries but those are minor compared to his and you were very careful.

He’s injured so he couldn’t do much but you saved him and the civilians by defeating the demon. That’s when he realized how amazing you are and you earn his respect.

Days pass by and you two along with the other demon slayers are commended by Oyakata-sama.

He thanks you when the both of you are walking together. He’s very grateful for what you did and you two become closer afterwards.

“Ah young love.” Mitsuri sighs blissfully as she watches you two leave the headquarters.

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro knows you’re small and he knows you’re strong. You’re one of his trainees along with Mitsuri, so you’ve known each other for a long time now.

You rose to the ranks of the pillars with Kyojuro’s guidance. And now you’re looked up to by the whole organization because of your excellent swordsmanship despite your small figure.

So you’re tasked to train 20 slayers ranked below Tsuchinoto. You take them to a clearing in the forest where training equipment are already placed. You train them by remembering what Kyojuro has taught you over the years. And you smile, seeing your past self in the struggling slayers.

You gave them a 10 minute break and after 10 minutes, you do a headcount to see if everyone is in your proximity.

“18,19…?????”

Oh no. A slayer is missing.

So you set off to find the missing one and there you found him.

Hanging upside down from the arms of a large demon. The boy is muttering apologies for straying faraway and is begging for you to save him upon seeing you.

You are annoyed at the fact that he has disobeyed your orders and is now at the hands of danger. But this was no time to be blaming someone for a boy’s life is at stake here.

You jump into the air and you take down the demon pretty easily with one strike of your sword. And you catch the falling boy bridal style with your annoyed face.

You put the boy down but suddenly a demon comes attacking you both. You kill it but more of it comes at you. They are easy to take down but it keeps coming, making you tired if you have to do this all night. It just won’t stop multiplying.

You think you’ve killed almost all of it but then the slayer screams “(L/N)-SAN!!!!!”. A monstrous looking demon bares its claws at you, but before you could react a flash of flames appears right in front of your eyes.

“Kyojuro…” You whisper in relief as he slays the final demon. The bright flames sparkle in your eyes as you’re once again amazed at the man.

Kyojuro looks at you and comes over. “You’re so amazing.” You manage to say.

He smiles and says. “No. You’re the amazing one.”. You always manage to face whatever challenge and it always ends up in you winning. Kyojuro knows how hard you proved others wrong by becoming a strong pillar.

Super proud of you cause you’re strong. He actually watched you battle those before jumping in to save you.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

He doesn’t really care if you’re short or tall

The important things is that you’re useful to the organization

When someone teases you about your height, you end up feeling down and he’s there to beat that someone’s ass.

He doesn’t like to admit it but he’s a softie when it comes to you. You eventually break down his walls and now you can say you’re friends with the scary wind pillar.

You always tease him though and he’s always annoyed. But everyone thinks you’re both dumb since it’s very clear that you two like each other but you still deny it.

There’s this time where Sanemi is visibly struggling fighting demons as you watch him peacefully on a rooftop. He’s glaring at you and asks you “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”.

You just smile at him sweetly😊

Sanemi pretends his heart didn’t do a flip. But his heart stopped when he saw a demon behind you on the rooftop.

He was about to call your name when another blink and the demon’s head was cut off.

He was surprised since it all happened so fast. You go down to the ground, landing safely as you battle demons that the frozen Sanemi left.

It just took you 10 seconds to eliminate those demons and Sanemi’s mouth is left agape as he watched you.

You weren’t normally like this. So why the sudden surge of power?

“Sanemi hun. Close your mouth.” You say to him with a blank face, but before you could go past him, he gripped your wrist tightly and placed your small body in front of him.

He dragged you so easily lol.

He hugged you with your faced buried on his chest.

It was the comforting kind of silence. Sanemi was scared losing you to that demon but deep inside he knows that you’re strong.

Won’t admit that your moves are amazing.

Gyomei Himejima

This man is the strongest in the demon slayer corps and the tallest

Gyomei actually gets out of tricky situations easily because he’s that strong

You’re a fairly new pillar who earned her spot 3 months ago. You two were assigned on a mission together. A gigantic demon appeared throughout the village that was between the regions you and the stone pillar were assigned in.

Gyomei knows your capabilities so he trusts you in doing a good job, but he can’t help but worry about you.

He doesn’t care if you’re small, he thinks that height isn’t the basis for an excellent demon slayer. But he’s still worried, so he looks for you. I don’t know how he looks but he looks.

Then he sees you fighting off demons very easily. A determined look is seen across your face. Gyomei feels he’s tearing up because he’s so proud of you. Proud boyfriend here somethin.

You were just a weak mizunoto years ago and now you’re a strong pillar who can fight with him side by side.

When you finish off the demons, you look to see Gyomei smiling at you. This were the fruits of the harsh trainings you went through, it made an excellent swordswoman.

Among the pillars, you stand beside Gyomei in rankings. So you’re powerful like wow. O_O

Obanai Iguro

He’s small but have you seen him fight? He’s a demon slayer with remarkable speed and you won’t know he’s attacking you because his moves slithers secretly like a snake.

You’ve always admired Obanai even you’re now both pillars. And that admiration bloomed into something more.

He’s a strong pillar despite his small stature and that’s what you aim for to be like.

You’re trying to show off your moves to him every time you’re in battle together, to show him what you can do. To which he’s just “meh”.

So you give up on trying to show off and just do it for the sake of the people you’re saving.

You really gave up on showing off, but you can’t help it cause your breathing forms are flashy. Obanai doesn’t show it but he loves that display of power you have when you’re fighting.

Poor man doesn’t realize he’s in love with you even though others point it out.

He’s having trouble dividing his attention on protecting the civilians or fighting the demons. Luckily you were near the area so you came to his aid.

You slay the demons with your sharp and precise movements in just a short amount of time.

He’s like 😲 but when you turn he’s back to 😐😷

He’s one of the guys who won’t admit that you’re amazing and won’t admit that he likes you. You force him to confess though.

Tengen Uzui

it's evident at this point to realize that kyotani had a temper. he's always been competitive, always questioned authority and anyone who was older than him, always wore a hard look on his face anywhere he went.

the only time that scary look went away was when he was with you.

when you and him first got together, you were very intimidated by his presence. he always had a frown on his face, eyebrows furrowed, and pulling it altogether with his death glare. but as soon as his fiery gaze met yours, they softened. he looked at you like he'd never looked at anyone before; with adoration.

it wasn't new whenever you had to deal with his anger. kyotani had trouble expressing his emotions, more so with keeping them in check and taking them out on the wrong person. that person has ended up being you more times than you could count. but, you knew in the end that he never meant what he said, regardless of how much it chipped away at your heart piece by piece. you knew he loved you.

unfortunately, tonight was going to be another night of screaming and vicious words spewing from your boyfriend's mouth.

kyotani had come home in a foul mood. he doesn't even know why. he had a decent day today, only a couple things and people annoying him. but, sometimes people get in moods and they don't know why.

you, being ever so observant, immediately picked up on the sour look on his face, his frown more evident than usual. you timidly walked up to him as he was taking his shoes off, his eyes avoiding yours.

"you okay, 'taro?" you asked hesitantly.

his piercing gaze flicked to yours for a split second before he grunted in response, shoving past you to the kitchen. you stood there dumbfounded, wracking your brain for things you did that might've made him upset. you came up with nothing.

you followed him to the kitchen, seeing him looking through the refrigerator, you assumed, with hopes of finding something to eat. "u-um, there's dinner in the microwave... i made your favorite."

you were met with silence as you watched him go to the microwave, your heart being suffocated from the tension in your dainty kitchen. kyotani could feel your pleading gaze, hoping to get some type of interaction out of him. the thing is, he didn't feel like talking right now, could you not pick up the hints? the one thing he forgets sometimes is that you're not a mind reader, and you couldn't possibly know what's going on through his head unless he says something.

"'taro... is everything okay?" you asked once more.

when he didn't answer yet again, you walked up to him to place a hand on his shoulder. but when you did, he turned around to snatch your wrist, the tight grip making you yelp out in surprise.

"i didn't think you were this blind, but can't you tell i want to be left alone right now?! god, you're relentless y/n. leave me alone," he spat, turning back around to continue eating his dinner, letting go of your wrist.

you felt tears prick at your eyes, your other hand rubbing your wrist gently to ease the slight pain. you took a deep breath to not break down in front of him, fearing that it'll only make his mood worse.

you tried one last time.

"baby, i can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong. did you have a bad day? did i do something to-"

kyotani slammed his silverware against the counter, turning around once again. the look he gave you was bone-chilling; filled with pure rage. you took a couple steps away from him, fearing that this was going to end in another argument.

"i'm going to say this one last time," he says darkly, "i don't fucking need you pestering me and asking if i'm okay. i don't need you to coddle me like i'm some baby. what i need is to be left alone, and what i certainly don't need is you."

you gasped at his last sentence, the tears falling freely down your cheeks. your boyfriend didn't spare a glance at you as he turned back around to grab his plate, leaving the kitchen. you covered your hand over your mouth to silence your sobs.

you had a hard time wrapping your mind over what the fuck just happened. were you really that overbearing? you were just trying to help. and the fact that he blatantly told you he didn't need you and simply walked away without a second glance really fucking hurt.

you stood in your own misery for a few minutes before you snapped out of it, grabbing your keys and putting your shoes on before walking out the door, not even caring if he heard you or not.

but he did, and as soon as he heard the door slam shut, he felt this weird feeling start to bloom in his chest. it felt heavy, out of place, like his heart was literally sinking.

"guilt," he presumed.

he started to think back to not only tonight's argument... god should he even consider it as an argument since you didn't fight back? you just stood there and took his harsh words, visualizing your glassy eyes and trembling lip. you looked so hurt, so sad when you were only trying to ease his anger.

he held his head low, clenching his fists at his sides when he thought of how much of an idiot he was. the slamming of the front door echoed in his head.

"what i certainly don't need is you."

his heart was filled with even more dread when he put two and two together. your broken figure, his harsh words, the sound of your keys jingling in the tense air, the door...

he scrambled to find his phone, lifting blankets and pushing off pillows. he finally spotted it on the dresser of the bedroom. he felt like his heart couldn't sink anymore when he saw no messages from you. he feared the worst. he pulled up your contact, dialing your number and putting the phone up to his ear, biting his thumb nail due to the anxiety building up.

you didn't answer the first time, so he tried again. and again. and again.

he threw his head back in frustration, mumbling out a "pick up the damn phone." could he really blame you though?

he tried calling you one last time, the line ringing once, twice, before it went silent for a second. he thought you had sent him to voicemail before he heard your angelic voice travel through his ears.

"kentaro, stop calling me. i don't want to talk to you right now," you snapped.

"no wait- please come home! i'm sorry for what i said, i didn't mean it! i-"

"kyotani."

kyotani? you never call him by his last name. that's when he knew he was in deep shit.

you let out a deep sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. you had gone out to take a walk in order to ease your emotions. you felt numb, angry, hurt, sad, you didn't deserve to be treated this way. you wished he was better at communicating how he feels with you. you've always been patient with him, but sometimes he needs a little prying in order to feel comfortable with communicating something as vulnerable as his feelings. you guessed you pried too much this time.

"babe?" he sounded broken, it made your heartache.

"i'll be back in a few minutes, we're having a conversation when i come back. okay?" you said sternly.

you both bid your goodbyes and you dreadfully started walking back to your home.

you were right when you said you'd only be a few minutes, walking in to see the blonde sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, his right knee bouncing up and down nervously. his head shot up when he heard the door open, his blood running cold when he saw your exhausted form. none of you said anything as you walked to sit next to him, putting a reasonable amount of space between you two.

none of you knew where to start. none of your fights had ever gotten this bad, and you didn't want to make him feel bad with your concerns. but, it was better to confront the problem now than to have to experience it all over again.

"you really hurt my feelings today, 'taro," you started.

he felt a slight wave of relief when you called him his nickname. this was progress... sort of.

"i-" he cleared his throat when his voice trembled, "i know, and i'm so sorry."

you let out a sniffle, feeling his stare as he tried to read how you were feeling. a small tear slipped from your eye, but you wiped it away before he could see.

"i wish you would just talk to me. you know i love you and i want to help you. i've always been patient, but in order for this, us, to work, you need to put in effort," you stated, finally meeting his eyes.

he gulped, his hands shaking as he reach for yours. thankfully, you let them intertwine.

"i know. i just..." he was having a hard time putting it into words, "it's just hard. i shouldn't expect you to know how i'm feeling when i don't even tell you in the first place."

you nodded in agreement, encouraging him to continue.

"i love you so much. and i know i'm ass at expressing that, or expressing any emotion besides anger for that matter, " you let out a small laugh at that, a grin creeping up onto his handsome face.

"i don't want you to leave me. i know the words i said before hurt you, and i can't take it back, but i'll prove to you from this day on that i do need you. i always will."

you felt a few more tears slip, kyotani removing one of his hands to wipe them away.

"i'm sorry, baby. i'll make it up to you," he stated, pulling you into a tight hug, burying his face in your neck.

"i promise."

Golden Eyes - Paul Lahote x Reader

A/N: I thought of this last night when I had trouble sleeping. Can’t wait for you all to hate me, but I thoroughly enjoy it and encourage you to read until the end. It’s kinda a sad one folks, but I give to you a soft Paul

Paul and I sat in the meadow as we had grown accustomed to. He had found it on patrol a few months ago, so now we come here as often as possible, now that the threats of impending vampiric doom was dwelling since Bella and Edward got married a few days ago. It was time for everyone to breathe for what felt like the first time in forever.

I inhaled the fresh scent of teakwood cologne on Paul’s chest. My head rested on his bicep as we laid down. Simply enjoying the company of one another, laughing at each other’s stupid jokes, and giggling whenever he whispers yet another sweet nothing into my ear.

The light shone on us almost magically, it almost felt surreal. I felt the warmth from the sun’s rays shining on my skin, pairing with Paul to make the almost chilly day bearable.

The deep rumbling of his chest sent waves of happiness throughout my body, his laugh was the air I needed to breathe. Paul really made me feel things I never knew were possible.

Suddenly, the air grew quiet. The sounds of nature came to a halt. We no longer heard the sounds of birds nor the rustling of the wind. Paul’s chest tightened and he inhaled deeply. His large body turned over onto mine, crushing me into the ground.

“Paul?” I asked, voice trembling.

“Shhh.”

He looks around, trying to find the source of whatever killed our blissful moment. Though that only lasted a few seconds before I heard his voice once again.

“What’re you doing here, Irina?” Paul asks, letting himself get off of my chest.

I turn and see the woman I recognized from Bella’s wedding. She stared daggers at us all night.

I looked into her golden eyes, and I saw nothing but pure disdain. She was not happy to see us.

“I came to apologize to Carlisle for my behavior at the wedding.” She smirks, looking over at me.

“Well, you’re about fifteen miles away from their house.” Paul says, growing more uneasy by the minute.

He stood in front of me, I began to stand myself but my legs were trembling with fear.

She wouldn’t be stopping to see us for any good reason. She might’ve actually came to apologize to Carlisle, but smelling us out here might’ve presented too good of an opportunity for her.

“You killed him.” She scoffs, her golden eyes burning holes into Paul.

I knew Paul wasn’t trying to escalate the situation, as he was trying to avoid more conflict and was hoping she would just leave. But it was after then he knew that he had to phase.

“He tried to kill Bella.” Paul reminds her.

I latched onto his bicep in fear.

“He wanted to be like us!” She yells, beginning to walk closer.

“Move back.” Paul whispers, shoving me backwards.

His body bursts into one of a large grey wolf, snarling. He backs up closer to me, protectively standing in front of my trembling frame.

“Cute.” Irina scoffs.

Before I could even blink, she was running at us. Thankfully Paul was able to actually see her as he met her in the middle. He threw her into a nearby tree, snapping it in half. Paul runs over to where she landed, hoping to just destroy her.

“Where the hell are the rest of them?” I mumble under my breath, panic fully setting in. I tore my eyes from Paul and Irina and look into the tree line, hoping to see the rest of the pack.

Irina was a seasoned vampire, she knew what she was doing. I had all my faith in Paul, but I worried for his safety greatly.

A loud wine caused my blood to run cold. It was Paul. Irina had crushed his ribs.

“Paul!” I scream, almost running over, but I couldn’t bring myself to run-- it was like my legs were made of concrete.

It was then that my eyes almost bulged from my skull. I watched as she grabbed him from the neck, killing him instantly. I watched as his lifeless body slumped to the ground, his eyes rolling.

“I’ll protect you until my dying breath.” The memory of Paul’s voice rang through my head, echoing around the walls of my skull. He meant those words more than anyone else would ever have.

I immediately fell to my knees, screaming but nothing came out. I tried to run over, but I couldn’t get up from my collapsed state. I was stuck to look into the love of my life’s dead eyes.

Until she stalked over to me, far too slowly. She grabbed me by the throat, lifting me off the ground with an enormous smile on her face.

I watched as the rest of the pack charged out of the treeline, though it wasn’t before she bit me.

I fell to the ground as Irina was grabbed by Sam and Jacob-- being destroyed.

I was flailing on the ground, convulsing as the venom surged through my body. It felt like there was no longer blood traveling through my veins-- it felt like fire, like corrosive acid. I was looking around, screaming-- trying to get up and run to Paul. But I couldn’t, my eyes simply just faded to black-- ignoring the signals my brain was attempting to send to them. Suddenly, I was void of all sight and sound.

Suddenly, I hear my screaming again and I’m sweating profusely. Anxiety coursing through my veins.

“(Y/N), wake up. Please.” Paul begs, gently shaking me awake.

My eyes shoot open and see a worried Paul leaning over me, clutching onto me for dear life. I immediately grab him, pulling him into me.

“(Y/N), you had a nightmare. You’re okay, I’m here. I’m here, baby.” He whispers, raking his fingers through my hair as he held me close.

He picks me up, placing me in his lap, shushing me as I sobbed into his chest.

“I got you, baby. I’m here. It was just a nightmare. It’s okay.” His raspy voice soothes.

“P-Paul.” I choke on my sobs.

“Shhhh, talk about it when you calm down.” His warm hand rubbing circles on my back, my head on his chest.

Hearing his heart beat was the best thing I had ever heard. I was so grateful to hear it, to feel his chest warm. To see him alive.

We sat there for a few minutes, waiting until my uncontrollable sobs turned into slight sniffles.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” He whispers into my ear.

I nod, pulling away to look at him. I felt that it was better to tell him, afraid this dream was an omen of sorts. Maybe to consult with Alice.

“I’m just so happy to see you.” I press my forehead onto his.

His warm hands stayed on my waist, his eyes never tearing away from mine, patiently waiting for me to tell him about my nightmare.

You Three have known each other since forever so it was common for you to eat lunch together, he passed by the classroom when a sertain voice grabbed his attention. “Stop it Saltyshima, You sometimes to mean.” He looked over to see you in his best friends lap, what,why? He know that you were friends but still, he quickly moved so you wouldn’t catch a glimpse of salty tears rolling down his dotted cheeks. You and Kei slightly saw Yamaguchi,You knew what you have done.

Quickly getting up from his lap You made your way trying to get to yamaguchi, soon you hat to start running since he was tall and had longer legs than you. “Yams babe, come back please! Let me explain” He ignored you completely and entered the janitors closet to hide. Opening the door you found the freckled boy in a ball, he had red eyes from the crying. “What were you thinking?” Noya asked, you replied with “since You flirt with Shizumi-Senpai daily I guess I got said and went looking for Akira for comfort.” His eyes widened, he started thinking and you were right. “Sorry Princess, I guess I get carried away sometimes.” With a nod in response he made his way and pecked your lips, “I would like you to tell me when something is wrong, I am your boyfriend.” He sounded guilty, you then after replied with “Yes babe, sorry”

It was early morning, you and your best friend Akira took the train to get to school since you were running late. The train was packed, Akira luckily found one spare sit. You two were debating who was going to sit in it. “Why don’t you just sit in my lap?” your friend suggested, with that said you find yourself seated in his lap. The train doors were opening and closing, people exiting and people entering. You recognized the schools sports jacket and saw your boyfriend that could be a pain in the ass sometimes, but you still loved him and his twin Osamu.

Atsumu made eye contact with you and then with Akira, Ypu knew that Tsumu got very jealous of Akira since you were both really close, to close to his liking. He didn’t care that the train was packed with people, he was going to approach You and talk to you. “What do you think you are doing in this pigs lap?” Oh no, you both were in trouble. “Well the train was full, there was only one sit left so yeah” Atsumu gave you his signature smirk and slowly whispered, “so that is how you want to play? You will be punished later and Akira is going to watch.”

January 20, 2021 - DSMP

Here is my review of what happened on today’s stream! Keep in mind that I was only watching Tommy’s POV, but will be analyzing any other viewpoints that I come across (Mainly Tubbo’s)

I’m going to be honest with everyone, I was unsure as to whether not any of our boys would make it out alive. I went into the stream preparing the worst.

Tommy and Tubbo talking each other up, preparing to leave made me feel all kinds of thing. Like I stated earlier, I was prepared for the two to end their adventure today. I vibed with them when they walked down the prime path, and froze up when I saw the first person in line. I’m not ashamed to say that I nearly sobbed when I saw everyone line up to say their goodbyes to the boys (I’m sensitive, shut up).

The way Sam kept giving them stuff??? Loved that

The way Tommy and Quackity’s voices quivered when they spoke to each other? Punch to the heart?

Tommy telling Eret that she was always the true king??? YES!!! POP OFF!!!

The entire trip to where Dream was both made me happy and broke my heart. Here, we saw these boys, children forced to grow up quickly to be used by those they trusted, do their best to be kids for a moment. They were kids for, what they believed, could be the last time. They had their serious moments where Tommy kept reminding Tubbo that it was okay to not feel okay about the situation. Where Tommy didn’t want Tubbo to hide his inner thoughts from him just to try and make him feel better. The moment that they watched the sun together made me all sentimental and shit. Tommy preparing to die and have Tubbo leave and tell his story broke me.

“Why did you tell me to bring Tubbo?”

“Because, it’s always been you and Tubbo against me, remember? Ever since the beginning, Tommy and Tubbo against Dream” (paraphrasing)

I actually got hyped up when Tommy got the disc. It reminded me of Tommy’s clutch the time he dropped the disc down to Tubbo and knocked Dream off the tower using only planks. I had let my hope for them grow. And then I had my heart broken.

Dream using Tubbo against Tommy was something that I expected would happen, but I still wasn’t prepared for it to actually happen. I don’t think I’ll easily forget about how Tommy gave up the disc to Dream, even when Tubbo begged for Tommy to keep the disc and go. My heart nearly dropped to my stomach when I saw Dream break that first dirt block. It dropped when he told the boys to put their armor in the hole.

I have to admit, I was kinda confused that the homeless man had an evil lair and not a home, but pop off I guess??? The elevator was pretty cool, ngl

When I saw the two discs on the floor, I thought, “Bitch, you better be polishing this fucking floor every 30 minutes. Disrespect Nicki Minaj? What?” My second thought was, “why tf did you make two giant ass shrines for these discs??? Didn’t even center them, wtf dude.”

When Dream was monologuing and showing off the stolen goods and pets (and Skeppy) he stole from everyone, I knew he was on something. Him calling Tommy the key confirmed that Dream was overthinking everything and seeing things in places they didn’t belong. Did Tommy initially bring these bonds? Bring all the things Dream said he did? Yeah, I’ll admit it, he did. But it was the people in the server that kept that going, kept it alive. If not Tommy, someone else would have started that chain. The way Tommy look horrified and uttered with a horrific tone, “how do you not hurt?” when Dream mentioned how he cut off all his attachments was hnnnnnnnn

Tubbo actively trying to protect Tommy from going to prison while Tommy was actively trying to protect Tubbo from permanently dying was-

Man, that broke my heart.

“You wanna be the hero of this server? Every hero has an origin story. Batman had his parents, Spider-Man had Uncle Ben. You have Tubbo.”

The look of complete horror/terror that came across Tommy’s face the instant those words were spoken. He genuinely looked scared. He kept trying to defend Tubbo, despite Dream repeating how defenseless Tommy was against him. Dream telling the boys to say their good byes hurt me in more ways that I can describe. Tommy was panicking, actively trying to come up with ways to get Tubbo out of there, no matter the cost or price that he had to pay. Tubbo telling him that it was okay, everything would be okay, he would be okay. The way Tommy was desperate to hold onto his best friend, his Tubbo, whilst saying, “You can’t be okay with this! Why are you okay with this?”

My heart nearly stopped for a second the moment Tubbo said “goodbye, Tommy”

My mind flashed back to Tubbo saying those exact words whilst exiling Tommy, his best friend, for the sake of everyone being safe. Now, here he was again, saying those exact words to the exact same person. The only difference? He wasn’t sacrificing his best friend for the sake of everyone and Dream. No, he was sacrificing himself for the sake of his best friend, his only true friend, Tommy.

“Get away from them”

“Punz?”

“I’m sorry Dream, but you should have paid me more.”

Literal chills. I cannot. It’s the “On your left” of the DSMP. The way everyone came through the portal to line up against this tyrant that manipulated them all. The way I imagined everyone coming through to see this decked out dude with a god complex about to murder a bloody and bruised child, said child’s best friend (also bloody and bruised) was watching, begging to have his friend spared. Imagining how they saw the tear streaks down the boys’ messed up faces as they accepted their fates. As they saw their fear turn to hope as Tommy got Tubbo behind them for safety. How Tommy entrusted them to keep Tubbo safe. How they all came, decked out, to defend these two children.

How Quackity came in nothing but his yeezys because he just fucking knew that Dream wouldn’t put up a fight. The way Dream was so confident that he had power over everyone because he rid himself of his bonds towards objects and friends, only for that to be his downfall. The way Sapnap, Dream’s old friend, his buddy, was the one to give Tommy the pickaxe. The way Puffy was there to protect the two boys she renounced his duckling title for (and the nation).

The way Tommy dug a hole, without any protection or weapons, and had Dream throw his stuff in. The way he didn’t blow any of Dreams shit up, like he had happen to himself, and, instead, used Dream’s things to protect Tubbo and everyone else. The way Tommy took away Dream’s first two lives, paralleling the times Dream took Tommy’s two lives. The way Tommy boxed him in, like Tubbo was at the festival, and the way Tubbo held a bow to Dream. The way Tommy screamed at Dream to tell everyone what he had done. How Dream was the one to blow up the community house. How Dream tormented the poor boy in exile. The way Tommy didn’t spare him because he liked him, or wanted to play mind games with him. No, Tommy spared him because he had a chance to get his brother back, his family.

“Let’s make Wilbur proud. SUCK IT GREEN BOY!!!!”

“SUCK IT GREEN BOY!!!!”

The way the boys sincerely thanked everyone for showing up, fully knowing that they didn’t have to do shit. The way that Tommy said to go to Tubbo’s vc, obviously warming Tubbo’s heart. The way they made it to bench, and finally had a chance to breathe. How they could sit their, listen to their discs, and be kids again. No wars, no going against Dream, nothing. They could just be Tommy and Tubbo, like it’s always been since the beginning.

Then Wilbur fishfucking Soot had to crash the moment like the older brother he was, lmaooooo.

“You didn’t die”

“Ghostbur?”

“I’m not Ghostbur.”

I sucked in a breath, not knowing how the interaction was going to go. Was Wilbur still in the mindset he was whilst blowing up the nation he and his younger brother created? Was he in a mindset before that? Was he sane?

I must admit, their bickering match, along with Tubbo’s dancing, made me realize how much I missed their dynamic. I realized how much I missed Wilbur being in the picture. (Tommy whispering to Tubbo how he liked Ghostbur was hilarious)

Wilbur complaining about being stuck with Schlatt in the afterlife was hilarious. Wilbur admitting that he was preparing, waiting, for Tommy, his younger brother, to join him in the afterlife had me gripping my plushies. Wilbur telling Tommy that he’s proud of him put a sledgehammer into my fragile dam.

“I’ll see you soon.”

“Yeah, I’ll see you soon.”

THEY. ARE. BROTHERS!!!!

It was just so refreshing to see these two get the happy ending they deserved in this arc. The pain and suffering these two children went through at the expense of others, how they were forced to grow up quickly because of their situations, all of that was finally pushed towards the path of recovery. And although they’ve been through hell and back, it’s still them. Although the future will be hard for them, throwing more trials and difficult choices, they know that they’ll make it out, because that how it’s always been. And if their strengthen bond after today can tell them anything, it’s that it’ll always be like that.

It’s always been Tommy and Tubbo.

What I want/what I predict

FOR GEORGE TO BE AWAKE FOR FIVE FUCKING SECONDS

Everyone complimenting Niki on her new fit better fucking happen, I will manifest it

Dream will use his favor from Techno to break out of prison

Connor playing a bigger role in the SMP

I need to scream about RE ID bc like. Did I enjoy it? Yeah, I did. Was it. Just wrapped up way too nicely and quickly? Also yeah. I was a little disappointed by it tho, like the length, and the flashback scenes weren't as clear as I think they should have been? Like I understood what was happening, but it took me a little too much brain power to like keep up with what was and wasn't a flashback lmao

Also I wanna say, I get wanting to keep Jun See alive but god, that did not look fun. Just let him die, dude, no one wants to live like that, smh.

Thank god they kept Leon's one liners tho, like thank you for that at least lol also Claire, my GIRL, I love her holy shit. Honestly she was amazing, like, just perfect. Not sure why she has a gun in the promotional poster, bc she just. Never has a gun throughout the entire show, I don't think? Also can we talk about how she took that guy down with that lamp, and then hopped on top of him just fucking ready to continue to beat the shit out of him? Chris would be so proud 🥲

Okay also, I saw what you said with that flirting scene, and I agree that it seemed like Leon was trying to lighten the mood, but it so didn't need to be put in there at all @ the writers. Like this show could have gotten away with no romance, or just that one moment near the end with Claire and Leon (which, I don't ship them much, and that moment at the v end where she was like "are you ever gonna stop treating me like a kid?" And he responded with "probably not" or whatever kind of ruined whatever was shown earlier? Like it feels like she's had that convo with Chris before too, so I'm like hm no don't imply romance and then imply that he treats her like a little kid every time they run into each other, now it's weird lol) and been fine. None of the story was contingent on any kind of romance between anyone.

Now with that said, can I just say Patrick absolutely wanted to suck Leon's dick? Like he was smitten, and I bet you they at least fuck after all this is said and done, if not date for a short period of time. I thought they were gonna kill Patrick off, I'm glad they didn't tho, he was v wholesome lol.

Also I wanna mention that every serious moment (save a small handful) I just. I couldn't take it seriously, it was too over the top. Acid? Really? That's the self destruct measure? Slowly rising acid? I dunno, that doesn't seem quite right to me, I don't think that's how it works lol

Honestly they should have just made this into a new movie, bc making it a series implies more to follow and in general a longer narrative, but these eps were barely 20 minutes each, so there's almost no point splitting it like that. Did I enjoy myself? Yeah, I always do when Leon is involved, but it could have been so much better.

Also the silly little shipper in me is kind of desperate for more interaction between Chris and Leon, bc as far as I'm aware it's just RE6, RE vendetta, and RE ID (and I think the person who told Chris to save Claire in either code x or Veronica was Leon? Not 100% about that tho lol) where they actually interact with each other, and considering that they're the two main characters of the franchise, they should probably meet up more? Idk, that's just my gay ass hoping for more Chreon content lmao but still.

ANYWAYS yeah, I would rate the show like a 7.5/10? It wasn't amazing but it wasn't garbage, either. Probably my least favorite of the four animated movies tbh, but I will take the Leon content, thank you Capcom. Also it was interesting to see Leon around the time following/around RE4 and RE degeneration, I thought, I dunno.

oh boy I agree 100% it was wrapped up way too quickly in the end. like killing Jason? by just dropping him in the acid? it was way too simple and easy if you ask me. and like, why didn't he yeet Leon into the acid when he had him by the throat? him not killing Leon makes zero sense to me??

asdfg yeah I get they weren't ready to let Jun See go, but I bet Jun See really would've preferred to go...

I am so happy that they kept the one liners!! Leon felt very, very in character which I loved so much. I was afraid they'd tone it down or make him super serious or so, and it was such a relief they didn't. he was so eager to help and so goddamn kind to everyone I don't know if my heart can even handle it ;;;;;

also Claire!! so badass!! I loved the part where she attacked the guy with the lamp (yes Chris would be super proud haha) and THE HEADBUTT seriously, one of the top highlights of the entire series :'D

(but honestly this is gonna get long i'mma gonna hit that read more here)

and the flirting scene, I do think they could've left it out entirely and it felt a little strong-armed in. but I'm trying to look at the silver lining? Leon was super goddamn adorable in it, like, so cute it hurts :'D and Shen May didn't seem bothered really, it was more this joking thing between them. so while yes, it was unnecessary, i'm focusing on the joking feel of it and choosing to interpret it as such :'D

also, can I just say, the "romantic moment" with Claire and Leon near the end didn't feel very romantic to me? I know it's a romcom cliché (or at least a fanfic cliché lmao) how they ended up in a pile after the rescue but ...it didn't scream romance to me? although I do kind of like the pairing! (not a top fave but a cute one)

and yes, the whole "when are you gonna stop treating me like a kid?" "probably never" felt SO much like a sibling moment!! such big brother energy from Leon, and I don't know, that made me super duper happy?? I want them to be friends. I neeeed them to be friends gdi. which is why I am unhappy with how mad Claire seemed to be at Leon in the end and how they left it off like they did. I am hoping that it sets things up for a second season? and they for whatever reason need them on kind of the opposing sides at first? because otherwise it makes no sense to me for her to be that disappointed in him. in Degeneration they already establish they work in different ways towards the same goal, and for that to do a 180 now feels... like a disservice to the characters? idk?

lmaooooo but yes Patrick 100% wanted to suck Leon's dick he didn't even try to be subtle about it :'D idk I would've wanted Patrick to have more depth and screentime too, i so wish they would've made it a longer series and given the characters more development. because I liked pretty much all of the new characters they introduced! but it feels none of them reached their actual potential!

also I definitely would not say no to more Chris and Leon interactions. (yes it was Leon who told Chris to save Claire :) at least that) it... in general makes no sense to me how capcom seems to think friendships work? like how Sherry is all "Leon and Claire are my best friends" and then they imply they haven't met in years? if not more? idek it's. weird. it's like their characters go into storage containers in between their missions to be stored away so they can't even accidentally have personal lives or friendships or anything. weird.

for me, personally, it's... well, my score for the show would depend on whether I just focus on the characterizations and what I liked, or if I try to actually take the plot and all into account too :'D but I did like this more than Degeneration! already the fact that Leon has actual facial expressions is enough to put it way above that one. (and for the record, I don't hate Degeneration either, I do like it, but... Leon is such a cardboard cutout with zero personality in it, it's super frustrating)

idk I think I need to still process this a bit to see how I will like it in the end :'D there are things i'm super hyped about in it, and things i'm disappointed in, let's see how they'll weigh in the overall experience eventually.
