In private, I see him to be really into worship/soft dom. I feel like he gives "scary" or "hard dom" vibes but to me... he's just a simp lmfaoooo. I don't see him really being mean unless he needs to fuck the stress out or if you did something in public that set him off and he needed to show you who was in charge. In public, people would just know that Wonwoo and you were a couple and not because of PDA or anything like that. Wonwoo wouldn't be like Mingyu and kiss you in front of everyone but he would stare. Like, if you were at a party or something like that, he would be watching. If you were talking to anyone he would be staring and make sure they and you knew and remembered who you belonged to. If you had decided to be bratty and fake flirt with someone. You would feel his hand wrap around your waist and he'd cut the conversation short and well... you both would be going somewhere private asap so he could remind you again who was in charge.

In private, I can see him being all about you. He'd be a lot like Seungcheol where he would be so needy and soft dom. music is important to hansol. he adores it, loves it. he doesn't go anywhere without his headphones, whether it be his wireless airpods or beats or his store-bought wire ones. it doesn't matter which set he uses, however, because whenever he grabs them from their case he thinks of you. you've decorated each of the cases, pressing cute stickers and covering them. even his airpods max case is decorated in your stickers, his initials on each speaker in glittery pink. seungkwan had laughed his ass off when he first saw it, but hansol adored it. he loved pulling them out of his backpack and seeing his airpod case with your cute little kitten stickers decorating it, loved running his fingers over the turtle sticker you slabbed onto the case. whenever he uses someone else's headphones, whether it be for a schedule or because he somehow forgot his own, he can't help but think of his own headphones and how much better they were, simply because of your stickers.

you love touching chan. which is great because he loves touching you too! but in particular, whenever you're sitting, you grab his left hand and press it between both of yours. soon enough, like clockwork, you'll start twisting his rings around his fingers, smoothing over the metal. he'll ask you if you're nervous or anxious, but you'll just throw him a confused look and shake your head. it's fine, though. he loves it when you run your hand over his, when you twist his ring around his finger. it gets to the point that whenever he even glances at his ring he thinks of you, thinks of your fingers playing with his. rings become his favorite accessory because of you, and he even buys a special fidget one. his favorite ring, however, is the one he'll eventually wear on his left ring finger, a perfect match to yours.

mingyu: the puppy of all puppies. this man is putty in your hand and he will do anything and everything for you. he becomes your hand swatcher when you go to sephora or an equivalent store, lets you try new hairstyles on him, and lets you drag him everywhere bc he's so infatuated with you and doesn't want to leave your side

vernon: I feel like he's a little less hesitant to do some of the things mentioned above, but will do them anyway because he's a certified simp. he probably doesn't like the pink and purple eyeshadow, but would definitely let you try a bold red lip or blue highlighter on him. also seems like the type to secretly love being dragged everywhere because it gives him ideas for where to get you gifts for special occasions

another person who i think would react in very different ways depending on the situation. for the most part, i think he would play nice as much as he can to avoid conflict.

when he saw you and the other person interacting, he could tell that you couldn’t tell that the person was flirting with you, and not just being extremely nice.

he doesn’t hesitate to make your relationship clear with small but impactful forms of pda. with an arm around your waist (or a back hug if you are standing) , he whispers something that only you can hear, like one of your inside jokes, to make you laugh and further drive the point home that you are in fact taken.

Woozi:

not even gonna lie i imagine this man’s to be so silent but so scary. like even if you aren’t “uncomfortable” he would be so mad seeing that this person wasn’t giving up despite you rejecting them.

you would see him fuming from the other side of the room and send a small smile to him to reassure him that you are okay and not uncomfortable, which causes the tension tugging on his heart to ease up.

bonus points if the person flirting with you turns to see who you’re smiling at- they would see jihoon glaring back at them and immediately be unsettled.

he would feel very accomplished with himself.

DK:

much like joshua, he would be trying to keep the peace between parties, so he would first approach the two of you by placing one of his hands on the small of your back, and shooting a smile to the stranger across from the two of you before greeting them.

but, let’s say it doesn’t go so well…. the other person is far from interested in dokyeom s presence, even with an arm around you. they completely ignore his presence as they keep pursuing you.

it takes more time than the average person to make dk mad, but the second you are uncomfortable it’s over.

dokyeom can feel you tense up, which causes an almost instantaneous shift in his entire demeanor. instead of the usual sunny smile, his face is blank, staring back at the person still trying to talk to you.

“you should back off.” he states, with much more aggression and dominance than either of you expected. but somehow, with a scoff and a roll of their eyes, the person walked away.

dk immediately puts his hand over his chest to calm himself down. “i thought they were gonna beat me up!” he exclaims quietly.

“me too” you chuckled back.

Seungkwan:

have you seen this man when he’s mad or annoyed?????? yeah. imagine being glared at by seungkwan. no thanks.

so you can only imagine how the other person feels when they practically feel holes burning into their skull, before turning and seeing none other than seungkwan glaring them down from across the room.

most of the time, the person leaves before seungkwan ms strides bring him to his spot beside you, but if the person hitting on you is still brave enough to endure short distance glaring from seungkwan, it doesn’t last for very long before they start shifting uncomfortably and eventually excusing themself.

Injuring Yourself During An Argument ~ Joshua Hong

The moment your peace was shattered, a sigh came from you as you knew that Joshua was finally home. You sunk down in the sofa, looking around at the mess that still covered your apartment after a hectic few days for the two of you.

Your eyes remained down on the ground as he walked into the room, a hum coming from him too as he looked around the room and saw the state of it, and then saw you sat down on the sofa.

You could feel Joshua’s eyes on you as he moved through and perched down on the arm of the sofa. Straight away he could tell how comfy you were, knowing that you’d been there a while.

“You could’ve tidied whilst I was gone,” he told you, his eyes staying on you.

The moment he spoke, your eyes widened in surprise. You could still remember asking Joshua to tidy things up as most of them were his. The last thing you wanted to do was put something in the wrong place, deciding it was best for him to sort it.

“I mean this place could be spotless in the time that you’ve probably sat on the sofa scrolling through your phone,” he added, digging himself a bigger hole.

Your eyes shot up as he went silent, shaking your head in his direction. “Why would I bother tidying it up when I asked you to do it when you got in from your night with the boys yesterday?”

With one too many drinks consumed last night, Joshua couldn’t remember much of the evening, and especially couldn’t remember you telling him to tidy. In fact, he hadn’t realised just how much of a mess everything was until he came home sober from work.

“I haven’t had the time to tidy, but you have,” Joshua pointed out to you, “you could’ve helped me out and done it seeing as I’ve been so busy at work recently.”

You weren’t quite sure how he was doing it, but with every single word that Joshua said, he was making things worse for himself. You were fed up with running around after him, you knew that he was busy, but that didn’t mean everything had to be left solely to you.

“I mean I bet you’ve not been as busy as me, in your quiet day you could’ve found the time to do it.”

Your hand came down against the arm of the sofa as silence descended upon the room once again. “You’re not a baby Joshua, you don’t need me to hold your hand. I shouldn’t have to do everything around this place you know?”

“You don’t do everything; I just don’t see why you couldn’t do this.”

It was far from just the one occasion, you’d lost count of the times you’d been told that dinner needed to be on you, or he needed to be given a lift somewhere. For a while you thought Joshua appreciated the things that you did, but slowly you were beginning to think that he was taking advantage of how understanding you were.

With a shake of your head, you stood up from the sofa, deciding that space would be best for you both. As you stood up, Joshua’s eyes watched you straight away, knowing exactly what it was that you were doing immediately.

“That’s it, just run off,” he mumbled to himself, “rather than be an adult and talk to me you just go and hide like a child Y/N.”

“I’m going somewhere that perhaps I can be treated with respect,” you snapped back to Joshua, “if you can’t be bothered to pull your weight around here, then what’s the point?”

With hazy eyes, you began to walk through the room, however it didn’t take long before the mess in the room hindered you. You had failed to notice a pair of Joshua’s shoes in the middle of the floor, tripping over the top of them.

Your body stumbled forwards as you managed to grab onto the side of the sofa to steady yourself before you collapsed down on the floor. Your eyes shot back to see what you had fallen over, letting go of a huff of frustration.

“Y/N, are you alright?” Joshua panicked, standing up too and holding your waist to steady you.

Before you were able to carry on walking out of the room, Joshua used his grip on you to sit you down on the sofa. Your ankle throbbed as you lifted the weight off of it, running your hands over your face with a disgruntled sigh.

“Are you good?” Joshua asked you, kneeling down in front of you, meeting your eyes as soon as your hands moved away. Things couldn’t have gotten much worse for you, especially as Joshua’s concerned eyes looked over you.

Your head shook in reply to his question, “don’t, this is your fault.”

A sigh came from Joshua too as he took a quick glance across the room, knowing that most of what was around was his. “I’m sorry,” he told you once he was looking back at you again, “you’re right, I should’ve tidied up.”

“Why couldn’t you see that ten minutes ago?” You challenged, “instead you decided to be stubborn and look what happened.”

As you spoke, Joshua pulled the coffee table over towards the two of you, placing a cushion on top of it before lifting your leg up to rest your ankle in the middle of the cushion in an attempt to ease the swelling and the pain.

“I shouldn’t have argued, you asked me to do something, and I should have just done it,” Joshua finally admitted.

He knew deep down there was more that he could do, he relied on you a lot and knew that at times he needed to stop and make sure that he was there for you too.

Something as simple as tidying the room should have been an easy task for him, but instead he made a big deal about it. He felt bad enough as it was but looking at your foot up and the pain in your expression made things ten times worse for Joshua.

“I promise that I’ll tidy it,” he assured you.

“Do you mean that?”

“Absolutely,” he instantly replied. “I’ll tell you what I’ll do, I’ll go and see if I can find some ice in the freezer for your ankle, and then I’ll tidy. You can sit here and watch and yell at me when I’m doing things wrong and tell me where you want them to go.”

Your smile ever so slightly turned up as Joshua spoke, “you can start by moving those stupid shoes,” you told him, pointing to the ones that you had tripped over. Straight away you recognised them as the ones that he wore on stage during a recent show, also knowing the huge weight that they carried too as you went over them.

“I won’t ever let things get as bad as this again,” Joshua promised you, “I’ll start treating this place like a home rather than like a dump.”

Your head nodded in agreement with him, “just treat it like our home Joshua, and stop creating stupid trip hazards all over the place.”

“I really am sorry about that Y/N.”

Your smile turned up a little higher, “I know,” you whispered across to him. “I get that things are busy for you Joshua, but if we’re going to live together then we need to be considerate of one another first and foremost.”

“I agree, and I’ll make sure that I stop taking advantage and expecting you to do everything. We’re a team after all, right?”

“Exactly, we do things together.”

it has been two weeks. fourteen days (well, fifteen if you count the half-day when you texted him) since joshua has seen you. he’s surprised you even agreed to meet him, understanding that you needed time to yourself since he read the text of you ending things with your previous partner.

joshua prepares himself for when you walk through the coffee shop door but he’s never quite prepared when you sit down in front of him with a small smile on your face.

he can’t quite imagine how could anyone think or even follow through with cheating on someone like you. someone warm, caring, with a heart too big for their own good. joshua frowns when you take your seat without–”c’mon, no hug for me? that’s cruel coming from you.”

you scoff a laugh and roll your eyes, pushing your chair back to stand. you don’t get to walk far when joshua’s coming around the table to get to you instead; arms spread wide, a welcoming embrace of a good friend who pulls you in. sighing, you curl into him, giving his waist a squeeze just as he squeezes you back in return.

he reluctantly lets you go and gets you comfortable by ordering your drink at the counter, standing in line and constantly looking back to make faces at you when he catches you looking his way. as he returns to the table, he places your drink in front of you before taking his seat opposite you with eyes analysing your features. despite the sadness that swims in your eyes, he notices how... brighter your overall face looks.

he doesn’t realise he’s staring until he sees you resting your chin in your palm as you lean forward to rest your elbows on the table, motioning with your head his way.

“what?” he chuckles, mirroring your body language to sit forward, elbows meeting the table.

“what yourself,” you snort, pursuing your lips at him. “you’re staring. any longer and i’ll start to charge you.”

“well,” he clears his throat, “you look... good.”

“is that the pity joshua talking?”

he shakes his head with a smile, “no.”

“...thanks,” your eyes trail to the table, “you’d be amazed at how getting rid of a cheating jerk could do for your complexion.”

joshua knows there’s more to come with that sentence but with the way your eyes seem to warm up to his, he sees this as a good sign to lift his cup up your way, “cheers to that.”

he watches as you shift back enough to grab ahold of your cup to move it towards his way, clinking porcelain with a twinkle in your eyes as you say: “to new beginnings.”

joshua only hopes that this time, he’ll be in it in the way he hopes to be. in the way that maybe you deserve, too.

“to new beginnings,” joshua echoes, meeting your gazes as you two take a sip of your drinks that starts out bitter but ends with a light sweetness kissing your senses.

jihoon can’t help but smile - he thinks you’re the cutest and most adorable thing ever. after he realises how widely he’s smiling, he scoffs and shakes his head in disapproval, just to hide how giddy and fluffy you made him feel with such a small thing. “do you think this will end the fight?” just give him another kiss and he’s gone - the fight is forgotten, there is no way jihoon will take this argument seriously anymore, thanks to you and your cute antics. what can i say, he has THE biggest soft spot for you.

“i’ll give you a kiss later, just let me finish.” very adamant on finishing the fight although he’d completely forget what he wanted to say, all thanks to your kiss, (but boo would still continue to babble even though it wouldn’t make much sense). then he’d just kind of catch himself making no sense, and he’d just laugh and kiss you back, your fight long forgotten (just as you’d be about to fall asleep he’d remember what he wanted to say, and would keep you up for the next hour just so he could finish the argument).

malfunctiones #2. “okay, but does that mean we’re done fighting?” just stands there trying to process what had just happened, because a second ago you were arguing, and now you were kissing him? a bit confused, but relieved at the same time - vernon hates fighting with you, and it doesn’t really matter to him who takes the blame - he could honestly take the whole blame if that meant the fight was over. he’d think about that lil kiss for the rest of the day, he’d even catch himself smiling at the thought of it in the middle of practice.

quite simply, you cannot fool him. jeonghan will take one look at you and know you've got some sort of plot. when you refuse his kiss, he'll shrug and go about his day. you want to go low? he'll go lower. jeonghan will go the rest of the day without kissing you; when he leaves he'll pat your head and then go on out the door, ignoring your puckered lips. at the end of the night he'll send you a cheery "good night, dove!" and then he's going to sleep. but as soon as he wakes up he's climbing on top of you, pressing his mouth to yours and mumbling about how stubborn you are, as if his own pigheadedness was your doing, despite him being the one to prolong it. better not to argue, though; just roll your eyes and kiss him back.

➥ hong jisoo

if jeonghan goes lower, joshua goes lowest. when you pull away, smirking at having pranked him, josh will immediately decide to get you back. if you pranking him by pretending to not want to kiss him was toeing the line, he was launching himself across the line via catapult. he'll do as jeonghan did, not kissing you for the rest of the day. but he'll take it even further. you need help opening a jar? he'll say you have to pay with a kiss. when you go to kiss him he'll pull away, humming and saying something about not wanting a kiss. josh will go to make dinner, saying he'll make your favorite food. but then he'll lean down and say he'll make you some only if you give him a kiss. you'll reach up to press your lips to his and he'll pull away, grinning in satisfaction. eventually, when you're pouting and whining and throwing your arms aruond his waist, begging for him to forgive you, joshua will give in. he'll laugh at how cute you are and make you admit that he got the upper hand, ducking his head to press his mouth to yours.

➥ wen junhui

he'll take your words to heart. jun is the sort of man who takes what you say at face-value. if you've never pranked him like that before, he'll assume nothing of it, that you were telling the truth. jun will look a little crestfallen, but ultimately will stand up and giving you some space. he'll apologize, feeling horrible at the idea of crossing a boundary of yours. jun will start thinking about how he can make it up to you, and you'll have to quickly make amends and reveal your prank. after that, however, if you try to do it again? he's immediately catching on. he'll giggle, and then jun will be chasing after you, hands reaching for your hips and mouth making obnoxious smacking noises.

➥ kwon soonyoung

you?? don't??? want??? KISSES?? soonyoung will lean back, frowning for half a moment. he'll look so serious about it, too. he'll keep his hands on you, because if there's one thing about soonyoung it's that he has to be touching you at all times. he'll keep his voice low, hands squeezing your hips. he'll ask if you're okay, if you feel well, genuinely concerned. you'll have to come out and tell the truth. soonyoung will be relieved nothing's the matter, but then he's set on making you pay. you don't want kisses, you say? and then soonyoung's pressing his face against yours, making loud smacking noises as he presses wet, fat kisses to your cheeks. "you don't want kisses, baby?? huh?? HUH???" you won't be able to escape, and if you do, he'll be chasing after you, still making his loud kissing noises and calling after you.

➥ jeon wonwoo

on the outside, wonwoo will play it off. your boundaries are yours, and if you don't want him to kiss you at the moment, he'll honor it. on the inside? he's panicking. he'll text his friends and members, asking if their partner has ever rejected their kisses before. someone will say something like i guess you really messed up, wonwoo, and he'll start spiraling even more. he'll replay ever interaction the two of you had had for the past six months. he'll act out your conversations from earlier in the day, trying to look at them objectively to see if he said anything offensive. when he comes up empty, however, wonwoo will just come out and ask you. he'll sit you down, hands rubbing at his thighs from nerves. when you break and say it was just a prank, that it didn't mean anything, he'll let out a large sigh of relief. then he's demanding some sort of payback for emotion damages. you'll have to cook a few meals for him, maybe make some phone calls that he absolutely didn't want to make.

➥ lee jihoon

he's immediately confronting you. jihoon didn't like to dwell on things, didn't like to let arguments linger. he'll frown at you, completely serious. then jihoon will ask if anything's wrong, if you've got anything on your mind. if you confess immediately he'll roll his eyes, reaching out and tugging you into his arms. he'll say you're childish, but in reality he's just happy that it wasn't anything significant. if you try and play it out some more, try to shrug it off as nothing, he's sighing again. jihoon will square off in front of you, crossing his arms in front of his chest. he'll say that he understands you needing to set boundaries, that you have a right to want some space, but he deserves to know why, deserves an explanation. you'll have no choice but to come forth and tell the truth, and at the end of it he'll be pressing his hands against his face, sighing at your prank and how it nearly made him panic.

➥ lee seokmin

don't even think about doing it. you pull away from seokmin's kisses, a frown on your face? he's immediately feeling guilt and shame, as if he did something wrong. seokmin's puppy eyes will come out, round and big and physically hurting you. he'll pout, hands grabbing yours and pulling them close to his heart. he'll ask if he's done anything wrong, if you need anything from him. seokmin wants to make things right, no matter what it is. seokmin is completely genuine about it, wanting nothing more than to be in good terms with you. when you confess and say it was just a prank, he's dragging you into his embrace, peppering your face with kisses, whining about how mean you are to him, about how horrible you are.

➥ kim mingyu

if you pull away from him, he's frowning and trying to assess the situation. mingyu is a people-pleaser at heart, and if you're upset with him he wants to mend it immediately. but then he'll read you, see you're just messing with him, and he'll start whining. despite his giant stature he'll start pouting, stomping around and pouting. you will have to start cozying up to him, holding onto his arm, pouting back. mingyu will turn up the dramatics as soon as you start playing along with him. he'll act as if he's going to start crying, pulling away with a high cry. he'll run across the apartment before throwing himself onto the bed, crying about how you no longer love him. you'll have to wrestle with him to make him show his face, and only after you smother him with love does he let the act fall, grinning triumphantly.

➥ xu minghao

like jihoon, minghao wants to talk about it. you don't meet his eyes, a little pout on your lips. minghao will frown, concerned. he'll grab your hands and look you in the eye, so completely earnest with his actions. he wants the best for you, wants you to be happy. if something's wrong with you and he can fix it, he'll happily do it. "there shouldn't be secrets between partners when it can be helped," he'll say, thumbs rubbing over your hands. he'll see your hesitation and misunderstand it as being hesitant to share your feelings with him. he'll be a little hurt, and it'll show. you'll have to be quick to reassure him that it was just a prank, that you were being immature. minghao's jaw will drop, and then he's scoffing. minghao will be a little sore about it for the following hours, and you'll have to cozy up to him and pepper his face and hands with kisses. he'll probably vow to get back at you sometime, gears turning in his head as to how to go about doing it.

➥ boo seungkwan

pls don't :( seungkwan quickly gets insecure about it. he'll look shocked when you refuse his kiss, when you pull away and frown, shaking your head. when you mutter about "not being in the mood," his mind will start going a hundred thousand miles a minute. seungkwan will start thinking he's done something wrong, that you're mad at him. he'll be wary of approaching you the rest of the day, biting on his lower lip, unsure of how to bridge the gap he's beginning to think exists between the two of you. seungkwan will think of every single possible outcome of him talking to you about it, worried about crossing a line. when you carry on the rest of the day a if nothing's wrong, seungkwan will be puzzled. but he'll go along with it. as long as you're not mad at him, he's okay. that night when you're getting ready for bed, seungkwan will tentatively break the subject. when you're admitting everything he'll feel relieved, his insecurities melting away; only to be replaced with extreme pettiness.

➥ chwe vernon

honestly? vernon probably won't think much of it. if you pull away, not wanting a kiss and saying you're not in the mood for it, vernon will accept it. he'll say it's okay, that you don't have to do anything you don't want to. vernon is the sort of boyfriend who will assume that if you did have any problems, that if you had anything you needed to talk to him about, you would do it; you wouldn't dwaddle or dwell on it. so he'll just accept that you didn't want a kiss, that you were drawing a boundary. when you go to kiss him later he'll accept your kiss happily. he may ask you about earlier, ask to see if you're okay, just to make sure. he wont beat around the bush about it, and he'll expect you to do the same. when you admit that it was just a prank and nothing seriously, his jaw will drop and he'll loudly exclaim, understanding and relief flooding through him.

➥ lee chan

like seungkwan, chan might get a little insecure about the situation first. you're his safe space; he's yours. the two of you tell each other everything, and while not wanting to kiss him seems like nothing on the surface, chan can't help but dwell on it and overthink. he's wondering what he did wrong, replaying the situation over and over in his mind. he believes in communicating problems, but for a while chan will just try and think of it himself, wanting to figure out where he went wrong. when you go to press a kiss to his mouth sometime later in the afternoon, chan is completely thrown off. he'll frown at you as you pull away, and immediately he's questioning you, wondering out loud what he did wrong for you to pull away. after you explain he'll feel silly for a slight moment at getting so worried about it, but then he'll quickly turn on you. "who plays such mean pranks on their boyfriend anyways?" he'll mutter, though the relief he feels at the whole situation being nothing but a prank will be obvious.
