When I tell you I SCREAMED!!!! Giggling, kicking my feet, etc ohhhhhh my fucking God I'm insane. And he goes to stare at the Brooklyn Bridge……….. help me.

AND! We're getting the Hydra Stomper ep in a few days. Y'know... the continuation of the Captain Carter TFA rewrite from season 1... the episode that's going to be a Winter Soldier redux where (presumably) Steve is the brainwashed antagonist as the Hydra Stomper and Peggy has to get through to him, and it'll all be within the context of them being a romance.

They are doing these PARALLELS (again) intentionally DAYS APART. They chose to remind everyone that Steve always breaks Bucky's brainwashing right before we're gonna get Stevepeggy parallels.

Hela | What If

Love that What If s2 gave us a Hela that is:

- bold, witty (for sure the sis of Thor & Loki), willing to learn, adorable in traditional Chinese dress (汉 Hàn 服 if I'm not wrong- the Han's costume - the contrast & line delivery, damn), a polyglot (likely a studious daughter, not like we expect any less from her but still, screw Odin..), has a great sense of humour & charm

- knows what's up, willing to sacrifice her crown ("Are you,Hela, the goddess of crowns?" "Give him Hell" 😭 like the one she was banished in) but still would immediately start a fight with her nemesis Raggy 😆

I don't think it's necessarily Goddess of Death vs Goddess of Life here. She could very well still be the Goddess of Death, but only the death of the evil, having gained a new appreciation for life. These are just titles and we stan a versatile queen who can be whoever she wants to be.

More things I love in this:

Hela & Fenris 🥰, Cate Blanchett (her accent & voice 🤩, altho her mandarin voice is like a different person), Hela in 汉服 just hits home for me, she and her siblings getting along (pls marvel we need more, same goes to her facing off thanos)

Yeah Im really mad about the What If? season 2 finale and think that the writers would've been smarter to have had Stephen and Peggy learn from each other that their lives don't need to revolve around the lovers they've lost and that they can take control of the hopeless loneliness that seems to affect them in every universe, effectively choosing to remove it from their own stories.

I can't tell if I'm subconsciously shipping them or if I just think they have a lot to learn from each other but man, you know the source material is bad when Im shipping the non-canon straight ship

Yo, I am as saddened and in denial of what happened in the season 2 finale and I wanted to share some fanfics I found that practically redeems/improves supreme strange’s arc. (All of these are found in AO3)

- Survivor('s Guilt) and Stars Will Light the Way by Linzerj

-All I Want For Christmas is…Friendship and Aspects of Reality by Trickstress

In summary: supreme strange was butchered like king magnifico (wish) but worse and it shows that people who write fanfiction can do arcs/stories a bit better than the actual ones.
