ZODIAC SIGN VIDEO GAME PLAY STYLE

Sun/Mars/5th House placement in your birth chart and the Houses occupying the Sun and Mars will likely resonate with the fighting style you favor in video games. 5th House occupying in any other planets will suffice as well. I was inspired by 12signs27nakshatras/astudyofastrology’s post about astrology and video games. Unlike their post, I am specifically discussing about what play style or characters you are drawn to. For example, if you have Capricorn Sun, Sagittarius Mars, and Aquarius 5th house, then you'll be more drawn to play styles that revolve around tanking, sniping or shooting, or magical/scientific abilities. This is only just for fun and you may resonate beyond your signs/house. As a gamer, I enjoyed making this blog!

FIRE-Influence of the Fire element will likely influence the individual to favor an aggressive style of combat. They tend to like to be in the thick of battle and even if they favor range combat, they’ll likely favor short-range combat or being a mobile shooter. They like rush in hard and fast, obilerating their enemies to smithereens!

ARIES

Will likely to rush into battle, with or without their teammates (LEEEEEROOOOOY). (Ex: Warrior classes)

Favors being a lightning bruiser, a tanky warrior who hits fast and hard (Ex: The Brujah clan from Vampire: the Masquerade; the Daemons of Khorne from Total War: Warhammer)

Prefers having an Area-Of-Effect (AOE) ability, an Aries trait of being a solo warrior (Ex: Darius from League of Legends; Axe from DOTA 2)

Favors high damage, sustained combat so therefore they will likely get lifestealing items or abilities (Ex: Lifestealer from DOTA 2);

Having the power of nigh-invulnerability is a dream that Aries will kill for (Ex: Tryndamere and Olaf from League of Legends; Wraith King from DOTA 2)

LEO

Likes to rush in as well but they would rather rush in with their friends together. After all, a Leo must prove he/she/they is/are the leader of his/her/their pride (and also needing to have a supportive audience). (Ex: Achilles from Smite; Draven from League of Legends)

Attracted to skills/abilities that can benefit their teammates’ especially in offensive power.

Similar to Aries, they might prefer AOE abilities in synergy with lifestealing capabilities.

Alternatively, they like to be solo hunters, favoring flashy moves, and love it when the announcer announces their killing streaks. Lions are predators after all. (Ex: The Gangrel clan from Vampire: the Masquerade; Rengar from League of Legends).

SAGITTARIUS

Likely prefer range combat but no slouch in melee either.

Alternatively, they likely prefer shotguns, dual pistols, sniper rifles and bows as weapons. Shotguns and dual pistols require them to be closer to be effective. Bow is one of the symbol of Sagittarius so they’ll likely to be drawn to that as well as sniper rifles

They like to be on the move will shooting, They also like shooters who move in an aggressive/flashy way (Ex: Lucian and Graves in League of Legends)

If they like melee, then probably a combat style that favors a bit more of mobility but still has raw power (Ex: Bloodseeker and Ember Spirit in DOTA 2)

As a Support, they’re drawn to characters or play style that gear towards offense (Ex: Omniknight from DOTA 2; Leona from League of Legends) Bonus: they tend to be attracted to paladin-esque characters, fitting with their character trait.

EARTH-Influence of the Earth element will likely influence the individual to favor a more defensive or slow but calculated style of combat. Similar to the Fire sign, they’ll likely be in the frontline but they will tank (refers to taking hits) enemy damage for their teammates and hit back with heavy blows. They like to assess or endure their enemies’ blows before making a slow but groundbreaking (hehe) strike!

TAURUS

Might be a bit hesitant at first to engage. Sometimes that’s a benefit since they know when to engage and when not to.

The ultimate tank. They will likely trade raw offensive power for raw defensive power (Ex: The Ventrue clan from Vampire: the Masquerade)

Alternatively, they’ll favor a more slow but heavy hitting style.

Embodies war of attrition the most (Ex: Daemons of Nurgle from Total War: Warhammer; Undying from DOTA 2)

VIRGO

They’ll likely lean to the support role. They focus on buffing their teammates’ defenses and specializes in zone control

Prefers characters/combat style that requires skill and precision to maximize their power (Ex: Invoker of DOTA 2; Jhin of League of Legends)

They like to use precision based weapons such as sniper rifles or bolt-action rifles

Information gathering is important for them. They need every detail they can get to better know and understand their enemies. (Ex: The Nosferatu clan from Vampire: the Masquerade; Cypher from Valorant)

CAPRICORN

Quite similar to Aries but likely more willing to wait for their teammates

War of attrition, like Earth signs, is their name of the game. Unlike the other two however, they are more likely to be on the offense.

They like to play as tanks with strong offensive powers. (Ex: Sion from League of Legends; Geb from Smite). Bonus that their charging abilities start slow but once they go fast, their impact hits far bigger than the other elements.

Like Virgo, they like precision based weapons but fare better in closer range like pump-action shotguns or burst rifles for mid-range.

AIR-Influence of the Air element will likely influence the individual to favor a more range focused combat or a hit and run style of combat. Strategists, mages, skirmishers, archers, they rely on mental prowess and agility of mind and body to swiftly bring down their foes. They are likely to use trickery, traps, mental influences, and social support (ex: buffing your teammates) as it requires strategy to execute them to the fullest.

GEMINI

Likes using trickery and deceit (Ex: Shaco from League of Legends; Loki from Smite)

Likes to play characters or play styles that require good hand dexterity (Ex: Merlin from Smite; Visage from DOTA 2)

Likes to play as Mages, especially that requires a lot of management (Ex: Daemons of Tzeentch from Total War: Warhammer; LeBlanc from League of Legends)

Similar to Sagittarius, they like shooters who are mobile but have more range (Ex: Strife from Darksiders; Storm Spirit from DOTA 2)

They like to have mental based abilities like driving enemies insane or mimic their abilities and appearances (Ex: Malkavians from Vampire: the Masquerade; the Mesmer class from Guild Wars)

Likely drawn to playstyle that/ characters who can essentially bob and weave (Ex: Yasuo from League of Legends; the Outlaw specialization of the Rogue class in World of Warcraft).

LIBRA

Will likely be regulated in the Support role

Likes to play characters or play style that requires teammates to fully maximize their abilities (Ex: Io from DOTA 2; Yuumi from League of Legends)

They may also be attracted to a play style wherein they can command minions and utilize them to bolster team power (Ex: Chen and Enchantress from DOTA 2)

Likes to play the strategists/tactician but more into area of control (Ex: Brimstone and Astra from Valorant).

Probably drawn to characters that are good duelists. (Ex: Legion Commander from DOTA 2; Fiona from League of Legends)

AQUARIUS

Likes to play characters or play style that is very unique (Ex: Meepo from DOTA 2)

Likes to play as a scientist (Ex: The Engineer class from Guild Wars 2

A bit similar to Gemini, they like to copycat enemy abilities but it requires deep knowledge of the game’s mechanics to effectively use that power (Ex: Rubick from DOTA 2; The Morrigan from Smite)

May also be drawn to raw magical/range damage (Ex: The clans Tremere and Tzimisce from Vampire: the Masquerade)

WATER-Influence of the Water element will likely influence the individual to favor a more supportive, stealthy, and/or versatile style of combat. Like water, these individuals adapt to any situation they are in. In addition, they favor a more stealthy approach whether infiltrating the backline and do assassinations or throwing in a few surprises, they should not be underestimated.

CANCER

Can be drawn to the Tank role that has healing to self-sustain and heal others (Ex: Yemoja from Smite; the Guardian class from Guild Wars 2)

As a support character, they may like to buff their allies with stealth in addition to healing (Ex: Oracle and Mirana from DOTA 2)

Could be drawn to play as a guardian who can heal and protect either in the frontline or from the shadows

SCORPIO

Likes to play as the assassin

Burst damage and stealthy entering and exiting the fray is the play style they’ll likely gravitate (Ex: Riki from DOTA 2; Talon from League of Legends)

Alternatively, they can frontline shadowy warriors who still use invisibility or shadow magic, even in the frontline (Ex: Slark from DOTA 2; the Lasombra clan from Vampire: the Masquerade)

Likes to play as characters or play style that utilizes psychological terror against their enemies (Ex: Daemons of Slaanesh from Total War: Warhammer; Nocturne from League of Legends)

Likes characters or play styles that have strong survival skills. Also likely to gravitate towards characters who can adapt (Ex: Kha’zix from League of Legends;)

PISCES

Perhaps the epitome of a support player

Is willing to sacrifice their resources and lives for their teammates

Similar to Gemini, they like to play characters or play style that revolves around trickery but in Pisces’ sense, strong crowd control and illusions (Ex: Bane from DOTA 2; Shadow specialization of the Priest class from World of Warcraft; the Mesmer from Guild Wars 2)

Perhaps thanks to their strong imagination and daydreaming, they could be the most versatile player since they would daydream of being a strong warrior hero or intelligent battle mage. Although they will be the jack-of-all-trades, master of none type of player.
