Alex is known as the grumpy one, rarely smiling (so rare that it became a meme of sorts on social media of to comment when he did in 2022). This may be changing in 2023 with a change to McLaren after six years at Andretti. New season, new team, new Alex? Time will tell. He still isn't the most social of people, preferring people people (friends and family) over people (everyone else). He has a soft spot for child fans, often going out of his way to interact with them.
His conservative upbringing shows on occasion, particularly on his podcast where he and good friend James Hinchcliffe discuss the latest racing news and whatever else comes into their heads. The number of times James has said "No, Alex. We've talked about this." when Alex says something that could be considered concerning for a rational person to say (often related to those conservative views he was raised with) is numerous. Much credit to Mr. Hinchcliffe for having the patience to educate his friend.
Alex extensively researches (perhaps obsessively) what catches his interest, be it smoking meats, the PH of his pool, or weird flavored soda cocktails. He is generous to his closest friends, recently planning a "not Bachelor party" weekend for a friend. He is something of perfectionist and a (self-admitted) clean freak. He enjoys betting on sporting events, although now must do his betting through friends as he allowed James to parental lock the betting app on his phone.

Already That Girl: New Healthy Habits I've Adopted
Tumblr media
I thought I’d share my latest habits so that it may hopefully inspire others as well.
Starting with the Scorpio Full Moon from 15/05/2022, I decided to challenge myself every day with new habits and routines that propell me in the direction of my goals, but also improve my wellbeing and mental health (we’re all about the holistic glow up here, ladies).
1. Matcha latte
Tumblr media
I started drinking matcha daily, along with lemon water. I already drink black tea for the energy kick (or green if I don’t need extra energy) every morning instead of coffee, along with a glass of water. I tried matcha latte after being curiously spurred by all that girl reels on IG and honestly, I fell in love with it. I don’t resonate with running with the crowd for trends, but matcha is a good one. It has amazing benefits for your health, tastes great, and it’s also green.
2. Daily greens
Tumblr media
Adding a big, nutritious salad to my lunch every day. Packed with goodies and topped with my favorite dressing: tahini + lemon. If you haven’t tried this combo, and want to incorporate more salads into your diet, you should definitely give it a taste.
3. Going to the gym with a trainer
Tumblr media
Hiring a personal trainer and going to the gym 2-3 times a week has been a longtime aspiration of mine.
I have wanted to make going to the gym part of my lifestyle for a few years now, but after several failed attempts, I realized it had to be my way in order to be sustainable long term. I have high standards and expect quality for any service I go for, and as such have not been satisfied with the trainers I’ve worked with in the past (I can write a separate post on that if anyone is interested). Even so, I refused to give up!
I kept switching trainers until I finally found the perfect one for me, and I’m so happy I did. I know myself well enough that I do need a mentor to guide me. Worrying about researching posture, anatomy, movements, what to eat or how to formulate my workout plan, was not the way to go for me. I prefer an expert to do it for me, and all I have to do is show up and get the exercises done, so I can spend the rest of my time & energy on my other goals. Besides, having a mentor waiting for you at the gym, who motivates and uplifts you, makes a huge difference in creating consistency & good habits when you’re right at the beginning!
4. Jogging, long walks
Tumblr media
Doing cardio (jogging, jump rope, long walks) at least once a week. I have found that cardio, particularly jogging, does wonders for my body and my mental health. It boosts mental clarity, alleviates anxiety, clears my head. That boost of endorphins is better than anything you can do in the four walls of the house, there’s only so much you can journal, blog or paint your way out of negative thought patterns.
I’m a nocturnal animal, so I knew that integrating jogging into my routine would not be sustainable long-term if I forced myself to do it in the morning. (Scheduling it for the evening when I don’t need to slather myself in SPF50 is also an appreciated perk.)
I’ve also been making it a focus to add yoga and stretching into my routine – daily if possible, but especially after strenuous workouts.
5. Leveling up my skincare
Tumblr media
Using sunscreen, Vitamin C serum and retinol in my skincare regimen consistently. Vitamin C is a new one, but I’m enjoying La Roche Posay’s Vit C10 serum so far, after seeing it recommended by every dermatologist on Youtube.
6. More homemade food
Tumblr media
Less takeout, more homemade food. Cooking is not a favorite pastime, but I love wholesome, home-cooked food made with love – it does have a different energy than when you just order in. I’ve been enjoying baking bread, looking up vegan recipes and just creating meals from scratch.
7. Rescheduling negative thoughts
Tumblr media
Any negative thoughts after 9 PM are postponed until next day. No use stressing over things you can’t do anything about, and which may be caused simply by fatigue! All you need is some chamomille tea, a hot shower, and a good night sleep. Tackle tomorrow’s worries tomorrow.

Le Crookie 🥐🍪
It was 3 February when the queues started forming at Boulangerie Louvard in Paris. Even in the sort of downpour that usually empties streets, clued-up teenagers gathered outside the family-run bakery in the 9th arrondissement, desperate to get their hands on one thing: its owner Stéphane Louvard’s invention, le crookie.
It’s a crisp croissant filled with American-style cookie dough, then baked to achieve a soft, gooey centre, and a video of the Frankensteined pastry had gone viral on TikTok.
Arriving a decade after the New York-based French pastry chef Dominique Ansel revealed the recipe for his cronut, the crookie is the latest in a long line of hybrid croissant offerings to cause international fervour. “We were very surprised,” says Louvard, who now sells up to 2,200 crookies per day. “We had to hire two additional people to be able to produce the necessary quantities. It was a little stressful.”
Bakeries across Paris have now started selling them. “My local is doing it, even though it’s not very trendy at all,” says Houssine Bouchama, director of Time Out Paris. Meanwhile, from Singapore to Toronto, copycats are making their own versions. Cookie Crumble, a micro-bakery in London, has been getting orders from across the country. Rhiain Gordon, founder of Babyfaced Baker in Edinburgh tells me it’s “unusual to see any left by 10am”.
To say that cross-bred takes on classic breakfast pastries have captured public imagination is an understatement. In 2013, when Ansel first brought the cronut, with its glazed doughnut outside and flaky pastry inside, to New York, they sold out so quickly that a black market arose on advertising website Craigslist. By the time it landed in the UK in 2016, it was with so much fanfare that Londoners skipped work to try it.
A muffin-croissant hybrid, the cruffin, was next, causing such a stir at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse in San Francisco that in 2015 the recipe was reportedly stolen. Then came the croloaf (croissant dough baked in a bread tin, debuted by M&S in 2016). There have been tacros (pulled pork filled taco-shaped croissants created by San Francisco’s Vive La Tarte) and cretzels (salted pretzels made with croissant dough, by Seattle’s Coyle’s Bakeshop).
Since the global launch of TikTok in 2017, the appetite for these hybrid snacks has accelerated. In 2022, the suprême – a spiral of croissant dough stuffed with the pastry creme-filling of an Italian bomboloni doughnut – became a global sensation. Next came the croffle; croissant dough pressed in a waffle machine, popularised in South Korea by cafe chain Aufglet.
What is it about hybrid croissants that have captured global public imagination for so long? Meg Palmer, a research manager at market research agency Verve, thinks it’s because “there’s something about the merging that makes it more permissible to be indulgent”.
Pastries are also perfect for TikTok, she explains, because they look and sound great. “[In videos of] the crookie you see hands breaking through the croissant. You hear that initial crunch, and you see whether it’s got filling if it oozes out. It’s very sensorial.”
She ties the constant invention of hybrids to small businesses trying to stand out on social media. “They’re always thinking ‘what can be our hook?’ People do latch on to these trends, and they don’t just want a flat white and a croissant any more.”
Bouchama has seen the impact of this in Paris. “There’s an Americanisation of French patisserie going on; the desire to reach an international audience on TikTok,” he says.
Bakery Philippe Conticini in Islington is London’s main purveyor of novelty croissants. The chain launched in London in 2020 with classic French patisserie, but found it hard to survive.
“We’ve found we have to be creative all the time and follow the trends,” says Ludovic Carassi Del Villar, operations manager. The shop soft-launched its £5.90 crookie last week and is already getting calls demanding more.
Back in Paris, TikTokers are already moving on, says Bouchama: “Some bakeries are now experimenting with the pain au chocolat-brownie.”

Kim Kardashian's influence was undeniably strong from the second half of the 2000s to the present. However, Kim is more than this carefully curated sex object she display for all of us. This Blog would be a timeline of Kim's achievements and setbacks throughout her career, with her job titles aligning after her leaked sextape with her then-boyfriend Ray J. Then it followed a pattern with American Pop Culture trends such as being a Reality TV star during the golden age of Reality TV in the 2000s. Then, as social media began to gain popularity. She quickly hopped on the trend and started influencing most notably on Instagram throughout the 2010's and later in the decade when social issues were brought to light and recognized in America. She became a Human activist for Prison Reform. Finally, for the 2020s she plans to focus more on connecting with the fashion industry and solidifying herself as a fashion icon for many European fashion houses. With honorable mentions for entering new industries such as personal financing companies, celebrity video games, lingerie clothing companies, fragrance, and makeup business ventures that were either a massive success or a massive failure throughout her career from the 2000's to the present.
Aside from her business and career ventures, her physical appearances have changed dramatically, and I will discuss the rise of the Hourglass body and The Brazilian Butt Lift or also known as "BBL" operation that spread like wildfire throughout the 2010's, as well as the current rise of a Slimmer body that began to attract attraction post Covid due to the comeback of trends of the 2000's and discuss many of the public speculations on how she attained her new body physique with either normal diet and exercise, reversing her plastic surgery, or most notably this now viral diabetes drug with one of the most well-known side effects which is massive weight loss.
Her style evolved dramatically from pre-Kayne, during Kim and Kayne's marriage, and Post-Divorce styles of being trendsetting or following a trend that shows a visual point in America's Pop culture and what is the craziest trends and latest fads of the 2000's, 2010's, and finally the 2020's.
These are the three main components of Kim Kardashian's recipe for becoming America's Favorite Sex Object. On the surface, it appears to be beautiful, but in reality, it removes the human from her.

Is Blogging Still Relevant in the Age of TikTok and Instagram?
What is blogging?
Writing and posting content to a blog is referred to as blogging. A blog is an online platform where people or organizations may express their opinions, insights, and knowledge on a variety of subjects. Bloggers often publish to their blogs frequently, adding text, photographs, videos, and other multimedia components to entries. People can connect with others, express themselves, share information, and potentially monetise their material through advertising or other methods by blogging.
Tumblr media
TikTok
TikTok is a short-form video hosting service owned by ByteDance since 2016. Users can make and distribute videos that can last anywhere from three seconds to ten minutes. Both the App Store and Google Play offer a mobile app for TikTok (Apple Inc, n.d.). The app is intended to be a gathering place for engaging, unplanned, and sincere mobile films. Users can see, interact with, and share films that feel individualized for them. TikTok offers a variety of entertainment, including sports, animal videos, comedic videos, and more.
For making and sharing short videos, TikTok has gained popularity, especially among younger audiences. In other nations, the app has also been used to spread hate speech against race and religion as well as to develop cuisine trends and recipes. On Google Play, TikTok has received over 59 million reviews and has been downloaded over 1 billion times (Apple Inc, n.d.).
Tumblr media
Instagram
According to (Wikipedia contributors, 2023), Instagram is a social media platform for sharing pictures and videos that is run by the American business Meta Platforms. Users of the app can upload media that can be altered using filters, categorized by hashtags, and geographically tagged with a specific place. Public or pre-approved followers may share posts. Users can view trending content, like photos, follow other users to add their stuff to a personal feed, and browse other users' content by tags and places.
Tumblr media
So, is it still relevant?
Yes, in the era of TikTok and Instagram, blogging is still relevant. Even though social media sites like Instagram and TikTok have become very popular, blogging still has its own perks and benefits.
In contrast to the constrained structure of TikTok videos or Instagram posts, blogging enables users to delve deeper into issues and provide more extensive information. This is especially useful for topics that call for in-depth examination, lessons, or thorough explanations (Corinne, 2023).
Second, blogs are more visible in search results. Google and other search engines index blog entries, making them accessible through pertinent search searches. On TikTok or Instagram, where content is mostly driven by algorithms and social sharing, this may make it harder to achieve organic traffic and long-term visibility (Tiffany, 2021).
Additionally, blogging offers more revenue-generating alternatives. Bloggers can experiment with a variety of revenue sources, including advertising, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and direct sales of goods and services. TikTok and Instagram both have monetization options, but blogs provide you more freedom and control over how you make money (Corrine, 2023).
Blogs also provide evergreen content. Due to the rapid stream of new posts, TikTok and Instagram material frequently has a short shelf life, whereas blog entries can continue to be relevant and draw readers over time. Because of their duration, bloggers can create a collection of useful information that readers can access and enjoy for a long time (Panorama, 2022).
While TikTok and Instagram have their own benefits, blogging is still a useful and relevant medium for content producers, companies, and people who want to offer in-depth information, establish their expertise, and interact with a loyal following. The final decision about a platform comes down to personal objectives, target market, and content choices.

TikTok Is Obsessed With Water. Experts Are Concerned
Tumblr media
Welcome to WaterTok, where the ice is loud, the vibes relentlessly positive, and the beverages zero-calorie
BY EJ DICKSON | APRIL 14, 2023 | Article Link
“I’m on my second water of the day and it is 11:55, so I am cruisin’ with the water goals today!” Tonya Spanglo cheerily announces in her TikTok video. She bounds over to her “water bar,” a collection of sundry Skinny Mix syrups on a Lazy Susan. Cotton candy flavor? Nope. Dragon fruit acai? Nah, not today. She settles on coconut, mixed with a packet of pineapple flavoring, because, as she trumpets, “Mama’s trying to have a pina colada!” She breaks out her peach-colored, 40 oz. Simple Modern cup, twirls around her straw, and takes a sip before breaking out into Rupert Holmes’ “Escape (The Pina Colada Song).”
Welcome to WaterTok, where the ice is loud, the vibes relentlessly positive, and the beverages zero-calorie. The hashtag, which has about 94.1 million views, features a panoply of upbeat, mostly white women in athleisure with charming Southern accents, showing off their recipes for flavored water in their giant metal Stanley cups. There is peach-ring flavored water. There is Dole Whip-flavored water. There is even banana-split-flavored water, and, perhaps most infamously, birthday cake.
With her messy bun, Oklahoman twang, and relentlessly upbeat manner, Spanglo, who goes by @takingmylifebackat42 on TikTok, is the undisputed champion of the genre, posting her first concoction — a coconut-and-pineapple-flavored beverage mixed with Sonic’s ocean water packet, which she dubs “mermaid water” — in June 2022. “I have been dubbed the queen of WaterTok,” she tells Rolling Stone, as her four-year-old granddaughter plays in the background (later, she will request a sip of water, though Spanglo will inform me that it is plain). Through posting her water recipes on TikTok, she’s garnered more than 700,000 followers, as well as an affiliate partnership with Skinny Mixes, from which she says she gains a 10 percent sales commission with her videos. (A rep for Skinny Mixes confirmed to Rolling Stone that following Spanglo’s mermaid water video, Mermaid sold out a record seven times.)
Editor’s picks
Like many other food trends on TikTok, #WaterTok could be seen as relatively innocuous, if not a little silly; many commenters have pointed out that flavored water is essentially juice, or that using artificial sweetener-laden Skinny syrup is not exactly healthy. Others have noted that WaterTok skews heavily white, female, and Southern (a critique that Spanglo, who is all three, dismisses: “Maybe I need to do more research, [but] I do not know where that came from,” she says).
Meagan Anderson, an over-40 lifestyle influencer from Texas who has made her own #WaterTok videos involving collagen, acknowledges that even she was wary when she first saw the trend: “Water seems so simple. And flavored packets have been around forever. It’s basically the same thing as Kool-Aid to someone my age,” she tells Rolling Stone. “It was funny — the younger generation was basically making Kool-Aid come back again, kinda like skinny jeans or parachute pants.”
Yet watching content creators on TikTok playing alchemist with various flavored packets and syrups is admittedly hypnotizing, even if it’s hard to pinpoint exactly why. Some experts, however, have genuine concerns about the trend, pointing out that because many of the videos are targeted toward weight loss, the videos could be harmful to those struggling with disordered eating habits.
WaterTok “has the element of danger because it is a classic eating disorderbehavior that happens,” says Jillian Lampert, chief strategy officer for the Emily Program and Veritas Collaborative, which offers comprehensive eating-disorder treatment programs in nine states. “In their fear and anxiety about eating and weight, they try to minimize the calories that come in.” Lampert refers to the practice of filling up on fluids as a means of ignoring hunger cues as “long-term, old-school eating disorder behavior.”
To be fair, not every WaterTok video is hashtagged #weightloss, and the trend is not overtly coded as a weight-loss method. Yet its origins are indeed rooted in weight loss, at least according to Spanglo, who is not the original progenitor of the trend but has certainly done more than anyone else to popularize it. Spanglo tells Rolling Stone she began drinking flavored water as a way to meet her water goals after having gastric sleeve surgery three years ago, with her doctor recommending she drink at least 64 ounces per day to aid in her recovery. She says drinking plain water made her literally ill: “It would make me so full I would puke. You feel like something is erupting in your esophagus,” she says. She had already been using Skinny syrups to flavor her coffee, so she decided to try using them to flavor her water; following her surgery, she has lost more than 220 pounds, she says.
Related
Spanglo says she started posting her water recipes on TikTok last year, with her mermaid water and her “unicorn” water — a mix of a pink Starbursts packet and Skinny syrup’s blue raspberry frosting flavor — racking up millions of views. Along with her general weight-loss content, she now posts water recipes almost every day, most of which get hundreds of thousands of views; after featuring her new clear cup (“so people can see all the colors”) in a recent video, the cup sold out on Amazon within two hours of the video going live.
Though Spanglo says her followers range widely in terms of demographics, she estimates that about 60 percent are gastric bypass patients like her who are trying to meet their water goals. “We have built this weight-loss community and we are all getting healthier and happier together,” she says.
Lampert, however, has concerns about WaterTok, particularly since much of the content is marketed with the hashtag #weightloss. Though, she says, it will likely prove harmless for the majority of those who encounter it, for people who are vulnerable to developing disordered eating habits, “it can very easily be a way for people to feel like they are ingesting food and adequate nourishment when they are not,” she admits.
In addition to the fact that many people with eating disorders drink excessive amounts of water to drown out hunger cues, there are also significant healthissues associated with overconsumption of water, says Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, the CEO and chief medical officer of Within Health, a remote treatment program for people with eating disorders. She cites hyponatremia, a condition that causes low levels of sodium in the body and can potentially lead to cardiac effects, as one potential complication.
“Anything that is egging us on to drink water to lose weight has the potential to take us out of being balanced and thoughtful in our pursuit of health, to doing things that become dangerous,” she says. Though there is a clear distinction between trying to stay well-hydrated (the standard rule of thumb for adults is about 64 fluid ounces, or eight cups, per day) and overconsumption of water to the point of risking one’s health, Oliver-Pyatt cautions that using water as a weight-loss tool makes it easier for people to lose sight of that distinction. “If you’re drinking water to lose weight, Houston, we have a problem,” she says.
That concern is exacerbated by the nature of TikTok’s algorithm, which recommends content to users that they are more likely to engage with, regardless of whether they’re actively searching for it. Due to its algorithm and its relatively young user base, TikTok has come under scrutiny from eating disorder specialists, who have argued that the platform prioritizes potentially harmful content in the form of weight-loss ads and potentially triggering “What I Eat In a Day”-type videos.
In response to this criticism, TikTok issued a policy limiting weight-loss product ads for those under 18, and it has also added a disclaimer to weight-loss searches on the app. When asked for comment, a spokesperson for TikTok noted #WaterTok does not appear to be violative of any of its policies, stating, “content that promotes, normalizes, or glorifies disordered eating is prohibited on TikTok and we remove content that violates those guidelines.”
Nonetheless, despite these safeguards, Lampert says the prospect of falling down a weight-loss-content rabbit hole on an app like TikTok can be dangerous for those struggling with disordered eating.
“From a client perspective, we hear so much [about TikTok], regularly, with clients under 40,” she says. “The story used to be, ‘I heard about this diet from a friend and then before I knew it I was out of control.’ Now, all of the stories start with, ‘I was online and I saw this thing and I got sucked into it, and even when I tried to change my content I couldn’t, and my whole feed was around diet and weight loss.’ That’s really striking to me as a clinician.”
When asked about whether her WaterTok videos promote disordered eating, Spanglo says she never advocates for flavored water as a meal replacement (though she does make videos promoting protein shakes for this purpose), and that she notes in most of her videos and Lives that she is not a trained dietitian or nutritionist. “I’m not telling you what’ll work for you. I’m saying what worked for me,” she says. Anderson says that she is “12,000 percent against” using flavored water as a “cheat or hack”: “I am anti-diet and anti-skipping calories. I am pro giving your body things it needs,” she says. “This does not add to your nutritional needs. It’s just elevating your water.”
Yet with WaterTok booming and receiving media coverage around the world — Spanglo says that within the past 48 hours alone, she received requests from Katie Couric, the Drew Barrymore show, and the New York Post to talk about her videos — it’s easy to see how that message could potentially get lost in a sea of general diet and weight-loss content promoted as wellness.
Trending
“It will help some people because they’ll drink more water,” says Lampert. “But some people will think that drinking birthday-cake-flavored water is the same as eating birthday cake. And it’s not.”

wtf is a blog and is it still relevant?
Tumblr media
According to Dennis (2019), a 'blog' is an online diary maintained by an individual, a group of people, or an organisation. Some blogs serve primarily as online news sources, gathering information from numerous web sources and adding brief comments and hyperlinks. Other blogs focus on showcasing original content. Additionally, many blogs offer a forum where readers can discuss and engage with the author. Writing content for a blog is referred to as "blogging." Even though written content predominates, many blogs also include substantial visual, auditory, and video components. The online community of blogs is known as the "blogosphere." Some examples of online blogs would be WordPress, Wix, LinkedIn and Tumblr (duh).
So is it still relevant today? Personally, I would say yes and no.
Yes, because there are definitely a number of people who still enjoy blogging as some people like to express themselves through words & writing. The blogging community may not be as popular as before since people now have moved on to "better" things like, blogging was so 2010s? (jk) But I do see it being relevant probably among older generations as younger generations these days have an attention span of a goldfish and would probably give up after writing 2 and a half sentences. According to Sanders (2022), blogging is still important in 2022. In fact, about 409 million internet users per month read 20 billion blog pages. This I found rather surprising because from what I have gathered among my friends and family members, they don’t usually read blogs at all. This may only apply to Malaysians though.
And no, because social media changes and develops over time so blogs are considered an old trend in my opinion. The new trend today would be the use of Tiktok, YouTube and Instagram. People tend to get bored easily especially when it comes to reading. That is why I feel that most people prefer visual entertainment such as vlogs > blogs. With the existence of YouTube, Tiktok and Instagram, most people have stopped blogging and started to create visual content for their audience. Three of these social media platforms have become the main sources of entertainment for this generation of people. I believe that 8 out of 10 people would choose Tiktok, Youtube or Instagram over blogs. Why is that? To me, it's because they provide music combined with visuals so it can attract and maintain my attention. For instance, even though the time taken to watch a Tiktok is about 1 min or less, but it can become very addicting and eventually you'll find yourself scrolling for 1-2 hours (at least for me). They are very short yet very entertaining clips that would feed (mostly) the younger generation's short attention span whereas if I were to read a blog, it has to be hella interesting for me to finish it because I would skip some parts or get bored halfway. Yet, blogging could be considered more intimate and personal in the sense that you are able to express more with no word limit whereas Youtube, Tiktok and Instagram have a word limit for comments and captions.
Tumblr media
To conclude, I feel that blogging has become less relevant now compared to a decade ago? However, I think that food blogs are likely more relevant and popular among people even now. The reason I think so is that there are those who read food blogs in order to obtain recipes for cooking or baking (e.g. my mum) as well as share tips and advice with each other under the discussion forum. On the other hand, people tend to interact and engage with content that they can relate to on a personal level. Therefore, personal blogs also remain significant and are among the most often used categories of blogs even now (Sanders 2022).
This is my first ever Tumblr post of the week so I hope you enjoyed reading it ≽ܫ≼♡

"He have always the strength in his hand of twenty men; even we four who gave our strength to Miss Lucy it also is all to him."
Ok so when I first read the book I was confused by Renfeild's obsession with the life being eaten thing (and the movie I watched didn't clear up ANYTHING) but I get it now! In this lore, it sounds like vampires absorb the strength of the victim they take blood from, even those who are not directly fed on. So Renfeild's thought process seems to be the more he feeds others, the more power he in turn can receive.
Also, the fact that Val Helsing & Co were trying so desperately to save Lucy but were inadvertently just giving dracula more power is haunting in hindsight.

15 Questions !!
Tumblr media
Thank you for the tag @phoenixssugarbaby !! 🤍
1. Are you named after anyone?
Yes, sorta, my government name (not Bee) is a combination of my great-grandma who I shared a birthday with and a friend of my mom.
2. When was the last time you cried?
I think it was the other night when I saw a tiktok about a dogs POV when they enter doggie heaven 🥹 but before that it would’ve been in September 2022
3. Do you have kids?
Nope.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
It’s part of my everyday vernacular.
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
this is so weird but eyebrows 😂 I used to get bullied because of how bushy and full mine were as a kid (which is ironic because beauty trends nowadays are for bold brows) so for some reason I tend to look at someone’s eyebrows whenever I first meet them.
6. What’s your eye color?
some days light brown, other days green, but for the most part a combo of both….so hazel.
7. Scary movies or happy ending?
it’s funny cause I love reading romance books, but hate rom-com movies. I can’t explain it but when it comes to dystopian/fantasy series I want a happy ending for my characters, it I do love a scary movie or an ambitious ending that fucks with my head.
8. Any special talents?
My biggest flex in life is being able to write a damn good paper for school. Listen y’all have seen my creative writing on this blog, but let me tell you when it comes to academic, I will forever brag that I can spit out some knowledge. I’m in grad school and last semester I got A’s on all my Case Studies and big papers and have never been so proud of myself.
9. What are your hobbies?
reading, writing, drawing, astrology, sometimes I cook when I wanna try a recipe. Does being the ‘mom’ of my friend group count?
10. Where were you born?
In Europe, but I don’t live there anymore.
11. Do you have any pets?
I have a 6-year-old Rottweiler-Lab mix who is a Capricorn and the absolute chaos of my life. But he’s so cute so I forgive him for most things. Also I’m basically the owner of two neighborhood stray cats who are always coming to my door for treats and cuddles.
12. What sports do you play/have played?
Competitively in order from childhood to present: Figure skating, bowling, gymnastics, soccer
For fun with friends & family: baseball, basketball, tennis, golf & volleyball
13. How tall are you?
5’2 🥺
14. Favorite subject in school?
oh boy honestly I don’t know. If we’re talking the typical core academics then probably English or Spanish, but for electives my favorite was Photography I took junior year.
15. Dream Job?
investigator/forensics expert or possibly even an author of thrillers.
No pressure tags ♥️ sorry if you’ve already been tagged!

Mexican week 😬😬😬 so a culture week is the new trend. I only noticed the last couple years
Syabira I hope she knows about Mexican bakes
Oh I want Matt’s shirt…
You know I haven’t been to Mexico but I feel like my family would not go anywhere that isn’t a tourist city anyway…..
Mmmm love street corn
Yeah it seems I really haven’t had Mexican bakes, like I’ve seen some but
The cracking on top of the concha remind me of Hong Kong pineapple buns, but you know different
Okay, just say weird stuff about Mexico….. 😬
A lot of these look nice
Well Abdul isn’t gonna change his recipe after Paul made a face, wish we could try the foood :’)
Not that I know how to judge properly but

Pico is easy
Janusz has the soap gene lol
I can’t make refried beans, I have heard of the concept but then always forget about it and also I can’t cook
I can make guac
This is more a cooking challenge unless they really weigh it on the tortilla
My sister apparently has made tortillas, good for her
I want some steak
I would want to judge the tacos…
They keep calling the tortilla the taco, hmmmm
Get it Maxy
I know Syabira can cook so getting second on taco makes sense

So the theming of these cakes, probably will be iffy
I am trusting Syabira
Good luck Rebs, that’s an idea
