It is so deeply weird to exist as someone who deals with chronic suicidal ideation at a time when the government and large parts of society either actively want you dead or simply do not care. Like I’m out here with my suicidal ideation getting actively triggered over these things, but also living just to spite the fuckers because I refuse to die just because people hate trans and disabled people.

This is the incredible Caroline Cossey. She is probably the person who has had the greatest influence upon my development as a transwoman and my becoming the woman I am today. I'll explain why later. Some of you may know of her and her story already. If you do, please bear with me while I recount her story and try to explain why I admire her so much.
Caroline Cossey is a British model, author and actress who was born in Norfolk, England, in 1954. Through puberty Caroline was distinctly feminine in appearance due to an intersex variation of XXXY syndrome. Growing up she experienced confusing feelings about her gender and was bullied by her peers due to her feminine appearance and behaviour. At 16 she left home and moved to London.
She started transitioning while working as an usherette in London's West End. By the age of 17 Caroline was receiving hormone therapy and working full-time in a female gender role as a showgirl. At this stage she had not told her family about her transition and continually made excuses so as not to return home. Eventually she decided that she had to go home as she missed her parents and sister so much. She did not tell her family she was coming and simply walked into the house as a girl. Her family accepted her immediately and supported her completely.
Following breast augmentation surgery Caroline worked as a showgirl in Paris and as a topless dancer in Rome, so she could save money for her gender reassignment surgery. She saved up for her own surgery because the waiting-list to have it performed free on the National Health Service would have meant waiting years. After years of hormone therapy, and a legal name change, Caroline had her final surgery in December 1974 when she was 20.
Caroline then worked as a model under the name 'Tula'. She appeared in top magazines such as "Australian Vogue" and "Harper's Bazaar", and worked extensively as a glamour model. She was a Page Three Girl (a topless glamour model which featured on page three) for the British tabloid "The Sun" (once appearing topless alongside her sister Pam) and later appeared in "Penthouse" and "Playboy". These days transgender models are nothing unusual and they are openly accepted as transgender. In the late-1970s this was not the case. If it became known that Caroline was transgender her career could have been over.
In 1978 Caroline had a regular part as as a 'beautiful assistant' in a British TV gameshow. A tabloid jounalist then contacted her, revealing he had discovered she was transgender and planned to write about it in his newspaper. Other jounalists researched her past and attempted to interview her family. Caroline quickly dropped out of the show. After this she kept a low profile, accepting only minor modelling assignments.
In 1981 Caroline was cast as an extra in the James Bond film "For Your Eyes Only". Shortly after the film's release the tabloid newspaper "The News of the World" published a front-page headline which read "James Bond Girl Was a Boy." She was so upset by this that she contemplated suicide. As a result of this all her scenes were removed from the film.
However, she continued her modelling career by focussing, once again, on smaller assignments. Caroline then responded by releasing "I Am a Woman", which was her first autobiography, in 1982.
Caroline became engaged to Count Glauco Lasinio, an Italian advertising executive, who was the first man to date her knowing of her past. He encouraged her to petition for changes in the British law concerning transexuals. The engagement ended, but her legal efforts continued for seven years, eventually reaching the Europen Court of Human Rights.
After breaking up with Lasinlo, Caroline met Elias Fattal, a businessman who was unaware of her history until he proposed to her on Valentines Day, 1988. When she told him, rather than rejecting her, he stated he wanted to go ahead with the marriage. They were married in 1989, weeks after the European Court of Human Rights decided to legally recognise Caroline as a woman. They returned from their honeymoon to find that "The News of the World" had published a story on their wedding, which led Fattal to seek an annulment.
On 27th September 1990, the European Court of Human Rights overturned its earlier decision, following an appeal from the British government. Caroline returned to modelling which she had given up 4 years earlier.
In 1991, Caroline released "My Story", which was her second and final autobiography. In it she gave details of her transition, her relationship with Fattal and her unsuccesful battle with the European Court of Human Rights. She was featured in the September 1991 issue of "Playboy" in the pictorial "The Transition of Tula," as an acknowledged transgender woman.
In 1992 Caroline married Canadian David Finch.
Following her marriage Caroline continued to fight for her right to legally marry in the UK and to be legally recognised as a woman.
Caroline is now 68 years young, still beautiful, and has finally found the peace and happiness she richly deserves
......................................
I came across a copy of "My Story" in a second-hand bookshop when I was a teenager. At that time I was living and dressing full-time as a girl and living in a small country town in rural Hertfordshire. I didn't know anyone else that was transgender and had no-one I could really express my feelings and concerns to (apart from my family). I suffered some abuse and the odd beating from the boys I was at school with - and I felt a bit alone. I had lots of girl friends but despite all their encouragement and support i needed someone who understood what it actually felt like to be transgender.
Reading Caroline's book was an eye-opener! I related to so much that she said, especially about her early years. I found it incredible that at my age she was taking hormones and working as a showgirl! I couldn't see that being allowed for me - though I think I'd make a great showgirl! Times had certainly changed!
What shocked me most was the way she had to hide the fact that she was transgender or risk losing her career. That and the fact that the press went out of their way to out her and persecute her. I was disgusted by the way the press targeted her regardless of the consequences their actions may have had - including her potential suicide. No-one should EVER be outed without their permission.
At least Caroline's book showed me that things have improved for the better, however slightly and slowly. I'm so glad I wasn't transitioning back in the 1970's. I have nothing but respect for those that were.
Anyway, reading Caroline's book really inspired me. It also made me realise that I didn't really have much to complain about compared to what she went through. It really helped focus on what really mattered to me and made me wish I had half the courage she has.
I even wrote a letter to Caroline introducing myself and explaining who I was and how much reading her book had meant to me. I sent it to her publishers and didn't really expect a reply. However, I eventually received a lovely letter from Caroline in which she expressed her support and wished me the best for the future. She was really genuine and warm. She also enclosed a signed photo. I still have the book (now containing Caroline's letter) and the framed photo now stands on my mantlepiece.
Sorry this has been so long! Katie XXX

Introductions
Hello! You may call me Samuel :] (or Sam, Samael, Oroniusn, Oro, I’m not picky!) I decided to redo my introduction post so it was more accurate and elaborate.
I’m a trans man, I’m oriented aroace (romance and sex repulsed/indifferent but it fluctuates at times, when not repulsed I consider myself gay/MLM)
I call myself Transexual, Tranny and a fag, that bothers you feel free to leave your complaints at the door I do not care. All other “old” queer terms fit as well!
Currently learning German (A-1? Bordering on A-2? It’s a slow process) and will probably be posting on here in German as a practice when I get better.
American English is my native language (C2)
I’m a practicing Norse Pagan (with Christopagan/Enochian elements mixed in) as well as a Therian/Otherkin (spiritual and mental, depends on the kintype, feel free to ask questions!) I’m generally a very open person when it comes to the paranormal, ghosts, cryptids, curses, demons, I follow a sort of “It’s real until proven otherwise” path. It keeps life interesting.
-DNI-
Supporters of the IDF/Israel or anyone who thinks you can have a neutral stance on the liberation of Palestine
Actually anyone who thinks ANY form of colonization is correct, I don’t want you here
Far right wingers (I’m a socialist, why are you here)
TERFs/SWERFs/TRUSCUM, any of those fuckers, I’ll just block you anyways but might as well add it
“Kill all men” people (I’m a trans dude, once again why are you here?)
Evangelicals, I have no problems with other branches, Y’all are welcome here
Anti-recovery (It’s fine if YOU don’t want to recover, just not if you don’t believe people should recover)
Anyone who is Anti-reclaiming, please do some research on 80’s-90’s queer culture.
-BYF-
I pretty much never check the accounts I interact with before hand, if I broke your DNI it wasn’t intentional (although I tend to find “this fandom dni” type lists stupid as hell)
I can seem very unhinged at times, that’s pretty much my normal (by unhinged I don’t mean “silly” I mean I have little to no moral compass and empathy for others, I also struggle to differentiate right from wrong sometimes)
I also experience paranoia, hallucinations and delusions that can cause me to be irrational. Typically around things like being watched (either by something or by cameras Truman show style) being hunted or an impending sense of doom/feeling that something bad is about to happen.
I struggle with self harm/suicidal thoughts and will occasionally vent on this blog, if you’d like to avoid seeing that block the tags (#tw self harm) and (#tw sui ideation)

Boy Meets Girl
Hi everybody! so I have another movie recommendation for you all if you want to watch. It's called Boy Meets Girl it is another LGBT movie on Tubi that involves one of the characters being a transexual woman again, and this one too has a happy ending to it. And one of the characters is Mike from Twilight!
The only things to watch out for is this one has full frontal nudity in one part. there is a bit of transphobic language but it doesn't last long, just one of the other characters being a butthead.
There is also the subject of suicide however, nothing is shown it is just mentioned about in sort of the same way of Amanda Todd's video. which is apart of the backstory for the transexual character however, that is pretty much it for the trigger warnings.
Well that's it my inner romantic is clearly showing happy endings make me very mushy what can I say. XD But if you like these kinds of endings and love to smile then please watch this movie.
maybe someday I will possibly write a story like this one that is not connected to Charmie or Elio or Oliver and can stand on its own legs and grow. who knows! 🤷🏻

I'm still in camp Mizu is some sort of transexual. bc like. I know the show is def made by cishets who have no idea how gender dysphoria works, but if Mizu really was entirely cis, they would be so so so suicidal. bc cis ppl get suicidal too when they do the whole pretending to be the wrong gender thing too. and they are clearly very comfortable with being a man/very uncomfortable with being feminine. also they react extremely violently whenever anyone calls them a girl. also that scene where they immediately projected on that bisexual samurai when he started macking on that dude. there is like. zero cisgender explanation for that. also Mizu isn't real so I can project on them as much as I want and I say they're trans.

Never understood why ppl keep saying that we shouldn't talk abt queerness with children bc it might affect them. Bc. What abt the queer kids who have no idea why they are the way they are? I knew I liked girls and boys and didn't know why I was feeling so weird living in my body simply bc I was never told abt queerness. I had never heard the word transexual until I was like, 15, and it was online. I lived feeling like I didn't belong anywhere every single day. I started contemplating suicide at such a young age bc of this. If it was something taught to children, it'd help queer kids to know they aren't alone and teach something to non queer kids so that they wouldn't bully bc of these differences.

For transexual Thursday;
Transitioning made me want to live, i struggled with suicide since i was VERY small and i couldn't imagine me having a future. But after a almost if not fully 2 years on t and about almost 4 months after top surgery i can finally feel at peace.
It feels like i belong in this body, that i was destined to form it like clay, my little art project just ment for me and my enjoyment.
I can finally see myself in the mirror and cry in happiness instead of pain, feeling like "yes i am attractive i deserve to love myself and think my body and i are great".
After years of struggle my soul, mind, brain and body are in unity, still separately due to trauma and how i see the word due to different things, but now all are working together instead of tearing each other down.
I love being trans and how complex my identity is due to my experience, culture and autism, it is so much fun finding things that put my feelings in words, discovering more and more who i am, now that I'm at peace with my body.
I love the scars on my chest and that their not picture perfect prettiness telling a story on their own. When i feel down and insecure i look at them and take care of them as a sign to my body that i love it and that I'm so grateful how far it went how much it fought even tho i wished so many times that it just gave up. Within it i wouldn't be able to finally know and feel happiness to know how it feels like to be alive and not survive not knowing if the next day is my last.
Transitioning saved my live and teached me how wonderful live can be.
And while i still fear for my live due to the political climate i am no longer afraid to die if i know i can die as the person i always was. I will fight for my right to know happiness and use the strength i have gathered to fight for other trans people because no one deserve to feel like i did in the past.
That hopefully they also can feel the joy of being trans and how wonderful it can be.
(sorry if it came of as rambling i have the tendency to do that)
Sculpting who you are, to throw yourself on the pottery wheel and, with careful, loving hands, making who you are is such a monumental moment. It's the single-best thing about being able to become, I think

tbh it amazes me the sheer extent that the western mind-body dualism idea has been taken and its reproductions, even while its being critiqued
the whole academic language around ""bodies"" is just one particularly annoying and debumanizing example. but its absolutely willlldddd to me that even while we say that mind-body dualism has had a series of negative consequences for western medicine, were Still pushing for it
the fact that weve gotten to the point where saying "your body affects who you are" and "you are your body" is ""biological determinism"" or ""biological essentialism"" is bloody insane it really is. people just throw words around like nothing
denying that you are your body or that your body affects who you are as a person is entirely ruptured from reality. if you have a disorder which impacts the physical structure of your brain, this will 100% affect you, because you are your brain and body. ptsd has visible affects on the structure of the brain, depression does, dissociative disorders can be seen in which parts of the brain are turned on or off. people with psychopathy are shown to have different brain structures to an extent. if you get a disease which degenerates your brain neurons, the connections, or your brain matter this will absolutely impact who you are and may lead to memory loss, drastic personality chance, agression, and a series of other things. if you get a brain tumor, a traumatic brain injury, or have parts of your brain removed this has been shown time and time again to have at times radical affects on who people are, their personalities, their emotions, how they process and handle things. a lobotomy shows quite damn well that your body affects who you are
,,,,, not even just the brain??? disregulatities in gut bacteria have been shown to lead to depression, which surely impacts behavior emotion and how you see the world and react. autoimmune diseases can attack the brain and lead to psychosis or other states. hornomal imbalances absolutely have an effect on the brain and body, because we are absolutely affected by our hormomes. women who have had hysterectomies, women who have gone through menapause medical or natural certainly know this, many women especially women with ptos and pmdd can certainly testify that ovulation and periods can lead to drastic emotional and personality chances such as suddenly suicidality, irritability, hypersensitivity, anger, deep sadness and depression etc, while the effects of cross-sex hormones on transexual individuals also show chances in behavior, emotion, and processing. it is known too if someone has hormone imbalances this can lead to behavior such as being more emotional, more agressive, or a series of other things. we know this to be true in other animals, and we are just. other animals too
even beyond that for gods sake. there have been several interesting cases of peoples personalities and interests changing after organ transplants to be closer to those of the person the transplant came from, despite them not knowing of the person previously - perhaps we will soon get that conciousness exists not only in the brain, but throughout the body in some way. it has also been shown that things such as religious feelings and out of body experiences can be reliably induced medically throughout the manipulation of hormonal and chemical levels in the body, as well as activations of certain parts of the brain. psychadelics are substances which are physically ingested and while they alter our minds and perhaps spirit, they are doing so by very much physically, bodily affecting our brains, the connections in them and what chemicals get released.
to simply deny that the body has an affect on who we are is Absurd, it is the peak of western mind-body duality which has had so many negative medical consequences, and its just leading apart from stupid adacemic disorder, to this ongoing thing with people deadass thinking they can do just about anything to their bodies (themselves) without impacting their psyche (also themselves)
perhaps souls exist, and perhaps spirit exists too. surely. but in this mortal realm, they are intimately bound and tied and processes theough the physical body, and anyway most spiritual and religious beliefs understand this

So, the "trans debate". We hear about that a lot, it's particularly all over conservative media. But what is the debate and why are we having it? LONG RANT (TM) time?
INTRODUCTION
For those who haven't been paying attention, there's been a wave of bills across the United States pushed by conservative (usually MAGA) Republicans that targets the rights of transexual people. Depending on where you are, these bills may target the health care that trans people require, it may target their right to participate in sports as they chosen gender, or it may target their right to be referred to by their preferred pronouns. Many states are doing all of the above and more.
When you ask them why these bills are necessary, the ones who don't resort immediately to outright transphobia will tell you that they are necessary in order to pause the issue and prevent any damage from what they call risky and untested procedures while we, as a society, debate the issue.
TERMS OF THE DEBATE
So then, let's dig into the debate itself. What, exactly, are we debating? From listening to these conservatives and the arguments that they are making, I see a few key topics:
1) Whether gender affirming surgery is safe and, often, whether it is specifically safe for minors.
2) Whether there is measurable harm in either transitioning or a lack of transition.
3) Whether cisgender athletes, particularly women, are harmed by the presence of transgender athletes, again, particularly transgender women.
Let's look at each of these in turn and examine the evidence that's available to see the state of the debate.
GENDER AFFIRMING SURGERY
Conservatives have made the argument that gender-affirming care is not sufficiently studied and should be regarded as dangerous. They further argue that these surgeries should be limited because there is a high risk that the individual may regret the surgery. The problem is, a quick Google search is enough to show that this is completely false.
Every study I can find (such as this one [1], for example) shows that gender-affirming surgery has an extremely low regret rate (1% or lower). For comparison, knee replacement surgery is an incredibly common surgery and has a much higher regret rate [2], as high as 20%, though this may have as much to do with the setting of proper expectations as the results of the surgery itself.
Further, longitudinal studies showed that, though the number of people seeking gender-affirming surgery has dramatically increased in the last several decades, the percentage who express regret or detransition afterward has not substantially increased [3].
Even further, just about every major medical body in the United States fully endorses gender-affirming surgery as a treatment for gender dysphoria. This includes the American Medical Association [4] and the American Psychiatric Association [5] among others.
Regarding gender-affirming surgery for minors, while I'm able to find recommendations for puberty blockers and hormonal treatments, I'm unable to find any medical group that recommends or provides actual gender-affirming surgery to minors and I'm also unable to find a record of a case where it has been performed. I suspect that this may not be a real issue at all.
THE HARM OF TRANSITION OR PREVENTED TRANSITION
The harms of a prevented transition are fairly well documented in scientific literature. Transgender youth show more than twice the risk depression, anxiety, and attempted suicide as non-transgender youth [6]. Transgender individuals who are able to transition still show elevated levels of these mental health issues, but they are substantially reduced [7]. Further research shows that transgender individuals who are not able to transition not only show elevated levels of these mental health issues, but that the levels further increase the longer they are prevented from transitioning [8].
As far as the risks of transition themselves, they are fairly well understood and almost entirely medical. There are increases in immediate medical risks to the hormones used in transition as well as a longer term increased risk of cancer related to them [9]. Surgery also carries risks, primarily related to bleeding, infection, or the standard risks of anesthesia [10]. However, all of these risks are very small and are well understood by the medical community with their own treatments if they were to occur.
In other words, there is a very large risk to the mental health of an individual who is prevented from transitioning, including substantially increased risk of suicide, and a very small risk to the health of an individual who uses either hormones or surgery to transition.
THE HARM TO ATHELETES
While the other two issues are actually very well studied, this one is still fairly open. In searching, I found studies that indicated that there was no provable competitive advantage for transgender women competing against cisgender women, like this one [11], and studies that indicated that there was, like this one [12].
More importantly, this issue is also less susceptible to research given that it relies also upon the subjective value that an individual places on athletics, on gender, and the opportunities derived from them. Given that, this one does seem to be in a place of real debate without any conclusive evidence one way or the other.
STATUS OF THE DEBATE
Given all of that, I think it's fair to say the following: there is no reasonable debate over the status of transgender issues except in the field of athletics.
SO, WHY ARE WE DEBATING?
Given that the evidence is absurdly clear on all but one minor issue, we have to ask again the question I posed at the beginning: "what is the debate and why are we having it?" For the answer, I think it's useful to look at another "debate" that we've had in the past.
In the 1940s, scientists conclusively linked tobacco to lung cancer. This was further confirmed by more studies in the 1950s and was uncontested in scientific literature by 1953 [13]. The tobacco industry, which was threatened by this information, launched an unprecedented campaign to sow doubt on the research and preserve its product [4]. In other words, instead of having an accurate debate about the facts that would have gone badly for them because the facts were against them, the tobacco industry manufactured a debate about the validity of the research itself.
It seems to me that conservative lawmakers and pundits are doing the same thing here. Rather than debate the actual safety and necessity of gender-affirming care (surgical, hormonal, or even just societal transition), all of which is well understood to be extremely safe and to mitigate substantial harm, they have manufactured a debate about the existence of that evidence itself, all the while passing legislation that goes against that very evidence.
WHY?
I suppose this is the crux of the matter, why would someone be so committed to their position that they would hold onto it even the point of rejecting all evidence? Fair warning, this section is far more speculative than the others, but I still think I'm on fairly solid ground here.
If you look at the culture of religious conservatives in the United States, they've made gender determinism an increasing part of their identity. Conservative religious denominations increasingly delineate behaviors, feelings, actions, activities, and even physical traits by gender. In tying gender so closely to their religious teachings and individual identities, they have caused any behavior that does not conform to that view of gender, such as homosexuality and gender change, to represent a threat to their entire system of beliefs.
In order to prevent a challenge to this system of beliefs built on gender determinism, it is imperative that behavior that blurs the lines between the genders be suppressed or even eliminated. That, in my opinion, and not concerns over safety, is the true motivation for the so-called "trans debate".
CONCLUSION
From a review of the topics under discussion and the evidence available, I have to conclude that those who oppose gender-affirming care are engaging in bad faith. They are not engaging with evidence, but are seeking to sow confusion about the fact that all of the available evidence aligns against their position while attempting to legislate that very same position that is contradicted by evidence.
They are using the same tactics used by the tobacco industry for decades to prevent the acceptance of research showing that cigarettes caused lung cancer and the same tactics that are still being used today by fossil fuel companies to prevent the acceptance of climate research.
I hope this was illuminating, especially for those who may not have been paying close attention and thought that this truly was a fraught issue.

Jennifer Olson, a former Charles W Flanagan high school student from the years 2002-2005 and family relative of Certified Public Accountant “Josepha” “Josephina” Josephine Fify Viera, is an Obese Psychiatric outpatient and member of the Fat Mafia and Cannibalistic Pedophilia Ring of Julio Hurtado of Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, and New Jersey as she has studied in Louisiana State University and is possibly a Cuban-American descendant of Gulf of Mexico Pirates, causing thin boys, girls, women, and men into becoming Schizophrenics like her and Josephine Fify Viera in order to turn their victims Fat and Obese, causing autoimmune illnesses through waste sites and Nuclear Power Plants that cause the victims’ immune systems to attack the victims’ pancreases and thyroids, by first labeling a girl a boy’s name like Yuriko, a Spanish name, in an English-speaking nation like the United States of America, Canada and England, to then have the girl with the boy’s name misgender and transexualize the 5-year-old to 7-year-old boys with her boy’s name, facial makeup disguises hiding their Criminal Motives, and name-calling the boys “faggots” and “Fruit Cakes” such as “marícón” in order to cause the confused boy to smack the girl, push the girl or hit the girl with a balloon at age 6, to then be bullied by Corporate MBA Queen Accountant graduate of Nova Southeastern University so that she gets the response she loves most from boys in which the boys, too young to know words and language, make fun of her Fatness and Obesity in order to avoid Anger or Aggression from the girls and women. The scheme from Jennifer Olson and Josephine Fify Viera involves blocking boys into becoming heterosexually Straight so that the boys as Future men cannot reproduce with their woman as Jennifer Olson and Josephine Fify Viera get to be friends with children’s female and male Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners such as Svetlana “Lana” Schwartz and Cuban Psychiatrist Dr. Charles Anthony Barrios, as Josephine Fify Viera has openly expressed favor for children getting killed in their mothers’ wombs as fetuses in Abortions. School.
Fuck school.
I'm going on a rant about the flaws of school, just try and stop me.
I know that school is meant to teach you important stuff, stuff that you may need and stuff that you take interest in, and it does a decent job at this. However, school is built on the expectation that you are "normal". That you have zero health problems. That if you have something like ADHD you have working pills for it. But what about the people who aren't "normal"? What about people like me? I have an extremely hard time focusing on things that aren't interesting to me, and I do try hand to work around this but I can't. A good way to help with this would be to MAKE THE LESSONS INTERESTING. When you're talking about how ratios are different from fractions, half the class isn't listening. A good way to get us to listen would be to spice it up a bit, give us good ways to use this, make us think we need this and get us hooked, most teachers can't do that these days. Another very important thing is choosing the classes you want to take. In Canada, you can "pick" your classes in grade 8, which is pretty late on, but it only really takes effect in grade 9. There's also a very limited amount of stuff you can choose, with no guarantee you'll get what you picked. And yet ANOTHER important note to discuss is the teachers themselves. More often than not you get teachers that aren't the nicest. Like last year I had a teacher named Ms. Santos. She was my math teacher. I d e s p i s e d her. She was always grouchy and mean, and she failed one of her least favorite students even though she was doing everything correct. Teachers need check-ins from the students, not just themselves and other teachers, which I don't even know if they're done. Going back to the thing on the education system being built on the "normal" people of society, schools are still incredibly bad at handling depression, homosexuality and transexuality. On the depression note, all schools do is give up the silent option of getting help from the guidance councillor, they don't even mention it on sheets of paper pinned to the cork board at the office. On the homosexuality and transexuality note, there's probably a few sheets of paper on stuff relating to it on the cork board at the office, but NO ONE READS IT DAMNIT. Having trouble coming out to your parents? Come see this gay club at 7:30 - 8:30 here at the school to meet other gay kids, make sure to get your parents permission to go. That's what most of them are like. All in all, the education system is severely flawed. Actually, here's a list of thing I would do to fix it:
Spread much more awareness about depression and suicide, don't frame it as an enemy, but more of a big challenge to overcome. Also make a good program to help with overcoming this challenge.
Do background checks on teachers about half way into each school year, not just checking their records and stuff, but also asking what the students and other teachers think of them, focusing on mainly how nice they treat their students and if they discriminate against any majority.
Changing how fast you can control your classes. Make it so that more classes start to open up at around grade 6 and let you choose your own classes at grade 8, only a year back from norms but still a big leap.
Understanding. Teachers should know all the challenges of their students, they should know the true reason why their student didn't finish their poster, not just the excuse in black and white. Most importantly they need to understand why this is, some people just don't understand that a select few don't like making their parents worry so they don't mention their homework, then it piles up and that would stress them tf out, making them worse and worse and worse. I'm not venting shut up. Ok maybe.
As much as I do have some more things I would change, it's probably best not to express them because as of now I've said enough. The education system sits on a throne all proud people can't reach, but they cry when people throw stones at their feet. Fuck school, evolve to crab.

if i could stop having to explain my 8 year transexual journey in detail to every medical professional, that would be stellar! im afraid if i dont answer all their questions it will impact my quality of care!! all i want to do is be like: hi im here in the ER/OR/general hospital bc im having an unfortunate medical issue, yes my legal gender is male and my bio sex is female, i would like to be taken care of instead of explaining what being nonbinary means and assuring you youre a good person bc you think "everyone should do what makes them happy, i dont care" like love the sentiment but i really cannot do this right now. like why do you expect me to reward you for using my pronouns while im drinking charcoal after my suicide attempt??? or right before i go into surgery?? in what world is that acceptable???
