You do not have to intent to post anything for the fest to write a prompt.

You do not have to write a prompt to claim one.

We as fest moderators are not going to penalise you based on what you write, your content is your own. Anything may be entered, provided you leave proper warnings for it. When creating the prompt list, we will attach an asterisk to any potentially triggering or disturbing content. Readers are expected to be able to curate their internet experience safely - take care!

Entering a prompt does not mean it will be claimed.

The format for prompts looks somewhat like this: Prompt –Tumblr username/anonymous – AO3 username/anonymous – gifting preference(optional) –preferred rating (optional) –preferences (optional) –squicks (optional).

The Voldemort Brainrot server presents ‘Feed My Frankenstein’! The FMF Fest encourages and celebrates the good, the bad, and the ugly of monsters. The goal of this fest is to take a pairing and turn one — or both — characters into monsters — or if they are already so, explore canon further. One character must be a Death Eater, but the other is free to choose.

This is inclusive but not restricted to Tomarry, Tomione, Volmione, and Harrymort. Do whatever pairing you please, as long one is a Death Eater!

Although run directly by @screamingmandrakes, this fest is the group effort of the members of the Voldemort Brainrot Discord server. Due to the nature of the server, it is 18+ and the fest adheres to the same rules. The FMF fest is not directly a dead dove one, but it is encouraged :)

That being said, you do not have to write dead dove! Write what you please.

HP Cottagecore Fest is a Harry Potter cottagecore themed prompt challenge. It'll run Sept 4th - Oct 1st. 🧺🧺🧺

Announcement for the Bloody Kisses Fest 2023

With spooky season coming to a close, we proudly announce the return of the Bloody Kisses Fest! Ready your fangs, artists and writers, because we’re back for another vampire Tomarry round.

The Bloody Kisses Fest is a Tomarrymort (Tomarry or Harrymort, whichever you prefer!) fest spanning November 2022 to April/May 2023!

The criteria for this fest is to create a piece of media (whether that be fic or art, or anything that falls under that category, such as podfics or moodboards) that contains both Tomarrymort and a vampiric element to it.

First up: the changes for this year!

Starting prompting half a month earlier, to push the schedule early enough to hopefully avoid exam season and thus unfinished fics/art.

Introducing two new mods! Welcome mods Nero and Atta to the blog!

When asking about email checkups, we got a 50/50 split on whether that was okay, so we decided to send in one email to check in on people with a month left until the end of submissions.

There will be a fixed date for when claiming ends, leaving a week solely for submissions.

There will be a schedule posted as to when each fic will be revealed (titles only)! Times during the day may vary depending on which mod is revealing, but should they forget to reveal, another mod can step in to ensure it is posted on the correct date. This can fix the inconsistent posting from last year. This will either be once every two days or once a day.

Extensions will be arranged in order to prevent gaps in posting and each extension will be noted on the schedule.

The author reveal date will be announced at the beginning of posting.

The email for the fest is now [email protected] to avoid the issue with Yahoo last year.

Next: the schedule!

Prompting: November 15th - January 10th

Claiming: January 11th - April 20th

Submissions: Open anytime from January 11th, but the final due date is April 30th.

Posting: To be decided after submissions are due in, but early May.

The illustrious Tom Riddle celebrates his birthday on December 31. In honor of the one and only Dark Lord, Riddle Fest is open to fanfiction and fan art featuring our favorite villain.

Information

Riddle Fest is an anonymous, Tom Riddle-centric Harry Potter fanfiction and fan art fest. This fest is open to all ships – or general works – featuring the Dark Lord. Works may feature Riddle in any era, from his youth to his time as Lord Voldemort.

How to Participate

Optional: Join the Harry Potter Fest Hub Discord to discuss the fest, as well as get looped into fest announcements, reveals, and more. If you do not join the Discord, it’s up to you to track dates and check in to this document and the fest collection.

Create a work that meets all of the rules and requirements.
