Locklyle Headcanons

@waitingforthesunrise and I had a whole conversation about this. Some of these are hers, some are mine. By the way, this is a long post.

Lucy wears Lockwood’s pajama shirts to bed.

Holly is the one who started all of the bets on how long it would take Lucy and Lockwood to confess their love, kiss, and start dating.

Lockwood is a closet/hangers person. Lucy is a drawers/floor person.

Lucy organizes her clothes by feeling. Lockwood organizes his clothes by color, activity, and how much he wants to impress Lucy.

Lockwood does the laundry. Lucy says she makes the bed but she really just throws the comforter back on the mattress and goes “Done!”

Lockwood does most of the chores.

Lucy says “Thank you, love” and kisses him and that’s his payment.

They’re literally every trope ever.

Big moment of catharsis after a fight in the rain with “I love you, bloody idiot?” Totally in character.

Saying “I love you” by accident? Totally in character.

Established relationship but then someone finally says it? Totally in character.

But you see, if the big fight were to happen…

Lockwood: *does something reckless and stupid*

Lucy: *is mad*

Lockwood: Why do you care so much?

Lucy: Because I love you, you bloody idiot!

And she kisses him.

Lockwood’s all like, “what?”

And Lucy starts storming away.

And so Lockwood runs after her and he’s like “You can’t just tell me you love me, kiss me, and then walk away. I love you too, Lucy Carlyle.”

And then they kiss.

Dinner was very awkward that night.

So something will happen, romantic-wise, and Lockwood blushes and looks like a dork.

And Lucy’s like, “Wipe that silly look off your face, Lockwood.” Then she does it for him.

And he’s all like “Well, what if I put it back on my face? Then what happens?”

So she’s like, “Then I’ll just have to kiss you more, I suppose.”

At their wedding, Lucy either wears a white dress for the ceremony and a blue dress for the reception.

OR

She has one of those dresses that’s all shimmery and shifts depending on the light.

I like the skirt on this one.

Lockwood wears a blue three-piece suit.

And he matches his socks.

Before the wedding, Lockwood’s like, “Let me in, I want to talk to Lucy.”

But Holly’s all like “No.”

Lucy says it’s fine.

They end up kissing when she’s in her wedding dress before they get married.

Holly’s just like “Why? Why am I here?”

Lockwood cries when Lucy walks down the aisle.

He dips her when they kiss. Exactly Something like this

He has a different suit for the reception.

George also got him a tie with cartoon ghosts.

George is best man for the both of them.

Barnes is standing in the back, just watching. “Those two crazy kids. Finally.”

I have a whole list of songs for their wedding playlist, but first dance is: I Want You by Stephen Sanchez

The pure duality of they sleep together but then they SLEEP together. Y’know?

Lucy’s more flirty, but Lockwood can be really soft and make her blush.

“Hi.” “Hi.” “I love you, you know that?” “Yeah, I do :).” “I need you to believe that, Luce. I love you more than you can imagine."

Lucy’s crying because no one ever really loved her like that before.

He just hugs her.

He traces circles on her shoulder a lot. Soft gestures like that.

Lucy’s the little spoon because Lockwood protects and Lucy needs protecting.

He's like “Luce, love, it's okay. I'm here. I love you and I’m never letting you go."

She’s still crying.

He kisses the tears running down her face.

She’s like “fuck you <3”

"You don't get to make me feel like this, Anthony Lockwood" "Like what?" "Happy and sad and amazing and bad all at the same time. I love you."

Okay imagine: Lockwood's sitting in an armchair. Lucy goes to sit next to him, perched on the arm. He wraps his arms around her waist, she wraps hers around his shoulder/neck and then before you know it, she's sitting on him and they're cuddled together and she's like "Mine."

COFFEE DATES

Lockwood’s had a bajillion coffees and now he’s buzzing and hyperactive

Lucy’s downed like six espresso shots and she’s still tired.

It’s raining when they walk home.

He gives her his suit jacket.

But they forgot an umbrella so he’s soaked.

But he doesn’t necessarily mind that he’s in a wet shirt clinging to his chest because Lucy’s totally checking him out.

She keeps stopping to kiss him on the way home.

And then they get back home and Lockwood's like "Yeah I need to change" and dude just takes his shirt off right in front of Lucy.

She’s red-faced.

George is in the doorway just like “Get a room.”

So they do.

Their respective rooms.

And it’s been a few minutes so Lucy thinks Lockwood is done changing so she goes to return his jacket.

But no, he’s not.

He’s just sitting there, on the bed, without a shirt.

He just spent the last ten minutes thinking about how Lucy Carlyle just kissed him over 20 times in the same hour.

He’s grinning like an idiot.

And Lucy comes in and she's like "Lockwood, what are you doing? You're still wet and you're not dressed and as attractive as I may think that is, you're going to freeze!"

He's like "What a blissful death though."

“But if you die, I can’t kiss you anymore.”

She tells him that every single day and then kisses him to prove her point.

When Lockwood puts his arm around her shoulders, Lucy reaches her hand up to hold his so she's both making sure no one takes him and that he's not leaving.

I'm gonna make a Pinterest board for their wedding.

Do not accept candy from strangers

Danny made a lot of stupid decisions in his life, several, so many that he couldn't even begin to count them, but according to him that was great when it came to learning from his mistakes.

So, it's no wonder that on his one day off he decided to do everything he was told not to do:

1. Leave Amity

2. Reveal himself to the world

3. Accept things from a stranger

The first 2 were reasonable, considering the situation with the GIW and how 80% of the population did not believe ghosts existed, the last was a warning Jazz made sure to instill in him.

But Danny was dead (more or less), and what harm could it do to eat a candy or two? It's not like he could poison himself.

The answer was a lot of harm; Technically no one offered him the fallen Kryptonite on the ground (he just thought it looked delicious), and both Lex Luthor and Superman weren't paying attention to him during their epic battle or whatever.

So Danny just picked it up and ate it, well, ate several (Lex was throwing them away like a candy trail, the halfa had fun thinking of Hansel and Gretel), Superman looked worried as he heard "Lex's evil plans to surround him with Kryptonite."

But instead of finding a perfect circle surrounding him, he found a teenager, a young white-haired boy who was rolling on the ground and complaining of a stomach ache.

Danny could almost hear Frostbite's voice scolding him for eating candy off the floor, damn it, and some of the candy wasn't even pure! They looked manufactured and stale. Danny glared at Luthor before deciding it wasn't worth it and going back to his task of complaining.

Ellie worked undercover at Cadmus

So, Ellie has grown up and become an Adult living on her own by now.

She is doing her best to make the most out of her life. She went to school, graduated from College, and even got a Job.

She grew up in a Lab, and learned quite a bit about Genetic Engineering over the course of her life both before and after escaping (Both from Vlad, and from Danny during that Point in time where they were trying to permanently stabilize her).

So, when she gets an offer to join a new start-up Company called Cadmus, she jumped at the opportunity to use her Knowledge to help others. (She was told it was a Research Company that used Genetic Engineering to make medicines)

It wasn't until she had already signed the NDA that she figured out that this was an Illegal Cloning Lab.

Thankfully, she was immune to the Mind Control that they had tried to use on all of the Scientists to make them okay with all of the illegal shit, but she still had to play the part so she could help the poor clones who would be created in this project.

She went Undercover for years. Any time a Clone was deemed a "Failure", she would try her best to save them. She did manage to save a few, sending them to Danny so he could help them find a home, but unfortunately she couldn't save them all.

After a few years, the other scientists began to stress out. The K-Series had been a total failure so far, and none of the Clones had even come close to being Viable. Even the most successful one, identified as Match, couldn't come close to being called an actual success.

So, they went a different route. If Kryptonian DNA didn't want to be Cloned, then maybe they could splice it with some other DNA and force it to work with them?

The Scientists began splicing Human DNA into the Genome, running trials to see if it would be Viable at all before even attempting to create a Full Clone. And they did find some success, preliminary tests showed that Human DNA was uniquely adaptable when it came to splicing, and theoretically it could be used to make a Fully Viable Clone!

When Luthor heard of this, he deemed that nobody aside from himself was worthy of being the "Father", and gave his own DNA to the Scientists to use for the Experiment.

Ellie was put in charge of transporting the DNA to the Lab, but in a random accident (we both know it wasn't, Clockwork), she ends up dropping the Sample. In a rush, she just puts some of her own Blood into the Vial and gives it to the Scientists working on the Gene Splicing Project. (She was panicking, ok?! Nobody would be able to work in a lab like this without getting a little bit of anxiety, and she hadn't gotten a wink of sleep in days at that point!)

They are thrilled! They don't know why, but Mr Luthor's DNA was so much better at Splicing than any other Human DNA they had ever tested before. He was certainly right about his own DNA being the beat suited for the Job!

Ellie meanwhile is having a bit of a meltdown. She can't believe she just gave them some of her DNA! And they already used it to make a Fetus! She's a mother now! She never wanted to be a Mom!

But she guesses that none of that matters anymore. She's has a son now, and she needs to get him out of there. But how to do it? As the only successful K-Series Clone, he was under the most heavily guarded security imaginable, so there was absolutely no way she would ever be able to sneak him out of there. Even if she used her powers, the Security was primed to scan for any and all foreign energy signatures, even Ecto Energy.

So for now, she was stuck. She couldn't break him out, and she also couldn't just leave the Company and let them abuse all those poor clones like that! She just needed to wait for the right opportunity to get her son out of there, even if it meant that she would have to stay behind.

It wasn't until a team of errant Sidekicks broke into the Lab a few years later, that she had a way out for her son.

Why Didn't Jason Remember Reyna?

Okay so I'm a diehard Jeyna shipper and Jason stan and Reyna stan respectively.

And it always made me so sad that Jason didn't remember Reyna, while Percy remembered Annabeth.

But the thing is? Jason did remember her. Maybe not in the way that Percy knew Annabeth, but he knew there was someone he should miss. Someone he cared about.

Think of it this way. Percy didn't necessarily remember Annabeth because of his love for her, he could have remembered her because Hera let him.

We see Chiron's conversation with Jason, we see Jason's reaction at the arrival at CHB, he knows that's enemy territory. Jason was at Camp Jupiter for years, raised in a strict Roman society. He would have been educated on the Greeks and taught that they were enemies.

But Percy wasn't. In The Titan's Curse, he's like "What's so bad about San Francisco?" (Yes, I know that was also partially about Mount Othrys but shh) The Greek demigods were hardly ever told about other pantheons. Percy wouldn't have felt any sense of hatred towards the Romans, he would have just thought "Oh, fellow demigods, cool." (Like when he refrained from killing or hurting the demigods on Kronos' side too badly in The Last Olympian.)

If Hera had let Jason remember Reyna, he most likely would have pieced things together much more quickly. He would've thought "I need to get out of here and find Reyna." Jason is naturally a pacifist and he wouldn't have wanted anyone to get hurt, so it's just better to run. He finishes the quest (because he's noble like that) and leaves.

So this then begs the question- what would have happened if Jason somehow made his way back to Camp Jupiter? Spark Notes Version: he would head back, meet the Hunters along the way, and see Reyna when he gets back. Then we have maybe four months-ish (???) until Percy comes. This gives Jason enough time to become settled in again and finally start dating Reyna.

Then Percy comes along. But Jason hasn't told Reyna everything that happened while he was away. Jason automatically realizes that "Oh no, this is Percy Jackson, from the enemy camp we're not supposed to interact with."

I think Reyna would want to train him as a Roman demigod and try to brainwash him (for lack of a better word) and Jason's like "No, we need to send him back and get rid of him, now." This also raises an interesting point with Nico, but we'll talk about that later.

Reyna agrees to send him back, but she puts him on the quest first.

When the CHB demigods come in, Jason comes to the grudging realization that he does need to work with them and this is inevitable. He's part of the Seven. So he goes on the quest and ends up making some pretty great friendships. (I have some headcanons about this, feel free to ask.)

He then comes back and everyone works on bridging the gap between the two camps with an exchange program and he's still working on recognition for the minor gods.

Instead of going to the all-boys school, he enrolls in some community college classes in New Rome. He's in a healthy relationship with Reyna, he started seeing a therapist, he's going pretty good.

Then The Burning Maze rolls around. He helps Lester. He doesn't make it out alive.

Reyna is heartbroken. But she goes on to join the Hunters of Artemis because as much as she loves camp, she wants to see what's outside.

Introducing the Erased AU!!! or as I like to call it: The Mysterious Disappearance of Normally Oak

Hehehehe I actually came up w/ this back in May (with the help of @kaseyskat <3) but it's been modified to be more canon compliant since some recent things got the brain gears turning :]c

The premise is essentially Norm and Dood do some. very silly goofs. aka w/out telling anyone Normal decides to go back to the Doodler's home dimension w/ Dood to keep them company and through some magic shenanigans everyone now has no recollection of Normal or the Doodler apocalypse- everything is a picturesque happy ending... or is it?

Sparrow is the first to realize something's up due to her new art studio being where Normal's bedroom used to be, but the others aren't very far behind. They all have to put the clues they discover together in order to figure out what happened and bring Normal back. Speaking of, I dunno how long a human can last in an eldritch dimension after all...
