i know im quite late but this has been stuck in my head and i need to get it out so here are my 12am impulse thoughts,,,

how i imagine nct dream would be on valentine's day;

note: this is just the vibes i get from seeing them and 100% based on my delusional imagination

So i wasnt sure how to do this at first but it was actually very fun and i loved it!!! ❤️❤️❤️

🌿After the Changrettas are gone and there is peace, Tommy tries to take a holiday. But theres nothing can bring him peace, hes bored, golf and fishing are both dull, they give him too much time to think of things hes trying to forget.

🌿He expects the theatre to be just as bad, has predicted he'll last about ten minutes but

🌿When you walk on stage during the third scene you take his breath away

🌿Suddenly hes really concentrating... He might only be concentrating on you but thats still something.

🌿He cant take his eyes off you for a second, youre not just pretty, you're an angelic kind of beautiful.

🌿The play is romeo and juliet, you are juliet and when your final scene comes you bring the heartless Tommy Shelby to tears.

🌿Not that he lets anyone else see them.

🌿Afterwards he finds out your name, does his research, and sends you a letter telling you that youve sparked an interest for him in the performing arts, invites you to teach him all about the theatre

🐻Likes all the costumes a lot, he likes touching the soft silk, feeling how delicate you are...

🐻Eventually actually asks if he can take you out, on a date, you kind of know you should refuse, that getting involved with dangerous gangsters is a bad idea, but something about Alfie, his theatrics and melodrama has really captured your imagination.

🐻Brags about you to everyone, especially Tommy.

🐻 Has you sing to him while youre in the bath together, you wrap your legs around him and wash his hair whilst you give him his own private performances

Arthur

🍂 Is grumbling about attending the theatre with Tommy, doesn't have the attention span, doesnt think hes smart enough to understand these things

🍂"These places Tommy, they aint for the likes of you and me..." "Now now Arthur, we've earnt our right to be here just like everybody else..." but Arthur thinks Tommys just trying to kid on that the family is moving up in the world...

🍂Arthur is still chuntering away to himself when the play begins. Its Shakespeare, one of the comedies and he feels a little out of place when some of the crowd laugh at jokes which have gone over his head

🍂But he begins to relax into it, finds himself enjoying it, laughing just as loud as everyone else.

🍂That might have something to do with the pretty girl playing several roles, who keeps coming on stage in different costumes, behaving like a totally new person each time. Arthurs fascinated by you and afterwards when Tommy and himself are invited back stage to meet the cast, Arthur barely says a word to the lead actors because his mind is set only on you

🍂When he finds you youre in your dressing room and he gives you a fright for which he immediately apologises.

🍂 "m sorry sweetheart didnt mean tk frighten you like... Just wanted to compliment you on your performance"

🍂At that you're completely stunned because you werent playing a lead role and no ones ever come back stage to do that before. Arthur is confused too, he wants to know why you arent out greeting people like the rest of the cast, when you explain that your role is only small and no one usually wants to meet you, he is shocked.

🍂 "Nah thats not right, you were the most important person on that stage..." he genuinely cant get his head around your apparent lack of confidence, you laugh and say hes being very sweet... Which makes him blush.

🍂 Hes fascinated by the whole acting thing, has loads of questions for you, thinks its incredible how you can just become someone else... This is a skill which deep down he craves to master, because of all his demons he wishes he could be someone else, the fact that you can become a whole new person so quickly gives him a naïve hope.

🍂 He thinks youre so fucking clever

🍂He comes to all your performances, doesnt always understand them, says he likes it best when youre in the funny ones, not the sad ones... He doesnt like seeing you sad even if its just pretend.

🌼 Similar to Arthur, hes not sure the theatre is really somewhere for the likes of him... Hes expecting it to be boring or too serious. He's only going because Tommy says it would be rude for them to turn down the invite.

🌼Its his Aunt Pol he really pisses off, she tells him of how some of the best actresses come from their very own gypsy blood. This is really what piques his interest and males him feel more comfortable.

🌼 But he is bored, hes bored the whole of the first act and Tommy has to force him back into his seat when he tries to leave.

🌼But you come on in the second half and suddenly he's interested.

🌼 "Fuckin 'ell why didnt they bring her on sooner"

🌼 Hes not been paying attention so he's got no idea who your character is or what shes doing, but he does think youre amazing.

🌼Is it because you're talented or does he just fancy you? You are talented but Johns awe is definitely fuelled by your looks.

🌼 Hes taken in by thr glitter and glamour of the theatre, of how pretty you look shimmering on the stage like a true starlet.

🌼 Tommy and his family dont return to thr theatre for awhile, but John starts going in secret, sitting alone, admiring and slowly falling in love with you

🌼 One day the theatre managers approach him, they know who he is and invite him to tour the theatre. Hes not really interested but when they mention he may get to meet the cast or see them in rehearsal, he changes his mind and agrees.

🌼When he does meet you its "accidental" he accidentally loses his tour guide and gets lost. He bumps into you and actually gets shy. Which is very unlike him. Up close youre more beautiful than ever... When he realises hes said that out loud he goes red.

🌼But you just smile and make a light hearted, maybe flirtatious joke out of it... "So are you Mr Shelby..."

🌼 He isn't found by his tour guide until youre finished with one another, the attraction is imediate and you tske him to your dressing room to fuck.

🌼 Its you who tells him you want, no need to see him again.

🌼After that he comes to you all the time. You have a lot of risky backstage sex.

🌼When youre trying to learn lines you ask for his help and he tries, but he ends up getting bored and distracting you.

🍀The Golds have followed the crows south to Cornwall which is where he meets you

🍀Theres a tradition in cornwall of outdoor theatre performances. Sunset on the jagged cliff edges, the crowd gather and sit on blankets on the rocks, they drink wine and ale and watch a plethora of performances. Dances, plays, musical concerts.

🍀Bonnies seen similar he supposes, when families gather together for celebrations, hes seen plays and music before... But not like this... Never as stunning as these.

🍀He stumbled upon the performance accidentally, he'd been on a walk over the hills, looking out for seals and dolphins in the water down below, when he'd heard the rabble of an audience and their applause.

🍀He hovers at the back of the crowd, climbs up a tree to sit and watch the performance unnoticed by anyone below. Except you.

🍀You look up half way through a line and catch sight of him in the tree, he's so relaxed, just sitting up there with his peaky cap on and the sight seems so absurd that you laugh mid line and have to stifle the giggle.

🍀He shoots you a wink but he doesnt think you see it.

🍀He watches you, the sunset behind you lighting you up like a firey angel, its a blazing, heavenly sight. You look as though you have the light of god shining out of you and its beautiful. Hes in awe.

🍀After when the crowds are dispersing he waits to climb down from his perch. He goes down to the "stage" when everyone is away, he's curious and he wants to look around.

🍀Whilst hes down there he starts imagining how theatrical and amazing one of his fights would look on that stage. If they had a ring down there. He starts practicing his moves, light on his feet, too caught in his daydream to notice you

🍀You take him by surprise, "Should have known you were a dancer," you tease making him jump and blush, he's embarrassed to be caught, especially by you.

🍀"A boxer... midlands welterweight champion actually," he feels silly when he admits it with a proud smile and you giggle.

🍀"Well mister midlands welterweight champion... Right now it looks like youre dancing on my stage..."

🍀He likes how cheeky you are and you flirt back and forth a little while before he asks why you only perform down here on the rocks, why you dont go to London to perform in the fancy theatres there... He tells you you'd be famous if you did, a pretty girl like you with all that talent.

🍀You blush and smile and get a little shy, you had all the confidence in the world 3 seconds ago when the two of you were teasing one another but now he looks so serious, his eyes full of admiration.

🍀"Not as romantic is it, London... Down here you feel like there's the angels watching you too..." it sounds silly when you say it like that but Bonnie thinks its sweet.

🍀He tells you about his boxing, how he's gonna be champion of the world one day and you listen, admiring his drive and passion. You think its amazing he believes in himself that much.

🍀"Well Bonnie Gold, when you're champion of the whole world you'd better make time to come and see me still from time to time" you kiss his cheek and he beams, lights up completely. Promises he will.

🍀Although his family move on eventually, he spends the whole time he's camped near you, with you. He has you teach him everything you know, you teach him how to fake cry and remember lines and he teaches you a little of his boxing skills too.

🍀He wishes he could take you with him when he leaves but he makes sure to return to you whenever he can.

🍀One day when hes in london for a fight he passes a theatre with your name in lights above the door. He uses his peaky credentials to get inside where he bursts in on your rehearsal, he's beaming with pride and is also very happy, now he will always know where to find you.

🍀With him a famous boxer and you a famous actress, youre a star couple, people recognise you when youre about which Bonnie loves. Whenever you wish for peace and quiet though he takes you away with him to travel awhile with his family.

Isaiah

🐀He's never set foot in something as posh as a theatre before and he has no intention of it. The theatres for toffs.

🐀But then he meets you at a bar one night and when he asks what you do and he finds out your an actress, his interest in the arts begins to grow.

🐀He tries to steal a kiss from you that night at the Garrisson but you stop him, teasing him you tell him you'll only kiss him if he comes to see your show.

🐀So reluctantly he drags finn to the theatre with him one night to watch you.

🐀The theatre is so fancy that both boys feel out of place. Their peaky caps mean that no one messes with them though and they even get given the best seats in the house.

🐀When youre on stage youre trying not to be distracted by the thought he might be in the audience. Every night that week youve waited and he hasnt come. Tonights the last night and youre worried he won't show. That you'll never get to kiss your peaky boy.

🐀But when you take to the stage after the final scene you hear his voice - unmistakable Birmingham accent among the cheers of the well to do - and you feel your heart rush. You see hes with a friend, both of them shouting and cheering for. you in the most unconventional of ways.

🐀Its sweet though and when you go to meet Isaiah out in the auditorium to sneak him back stage, you delight in teasing him.

🐀"You know youre supposed to bring an actress flowers after her performance..." you say tsking at him. Youre only messing though, you just wanted to see the cocky boy falter.

🐀And then you almost feel bad because hes sheepishly admitting to you that he didnt know, that hes never been to the theatre before, this was his first time...

🐀That much was obvious to you from the way him and his friend cheered for you.

🐀"Well..." you say before standing on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek, "youd better not make it your last..."

🐀"That depends love, will i get another kiss if i come back tomorrow?"

🐀He actually travels to see you perform again, he has to go up to Manchester to see you, but he does... He can't believe himself for doing it, but thats how he knows you must be something real special for him.

🐀Eventually you settle at one of the theatres in London, a resident actress, your name up in lights. Isaiah begs tommy to let him move and do Peaky Business in London, but he keeps secret his real reason for moving... His very own starlet with her name up in lights.

☘️ He's been to the theatre many times before and knows exactly how to behave. Back when he was Henry, he used to love going to the theatre but now hes Michael Gray and hes got more important things to do

☘️Still hes a man who likes fine things and the theatre is a luxury hes proud to afford,so he goes regularly, just to show people he can.

☘️Hes had his eye on you for quite some time but hasnt had the balls to talk to you

☘️In then end he does something overly elaborate almost on a level with some of Tommys plans... He hosts the after party for the performance at Tommys mannor.

☘️He is so overly attentive when it comes to managing the party and making sure everything will he perfect.

☘️On the evening of the party youre looking more beautiful than ever and Michael is feeling nervous... Not that he'll admit that to anyone else. You know that as one of the leading ladies its your job to thank him for being such a wonderful host and when you go to him he suddenly regrets not going to you first.

☘️No small part of him is a little bit pleased with himself that you choose to come up to him though, especially when you thank him for being so generous to the theatre company.

☘️He stands there looking like a classic gentlemen, he takes your delicate hand and raises it to his mouth, kissing it lightly. When he holds eye contact and says "its all for you," you die.

☘️You fall for his charms ever so quickly, and michael makes lots of generous donations to the theatre company to impress you. He brings you fancy gifts, glamourous dresses, sparkling jewellery, pearl necklaces...

☘️ Sees it as a status symbol, being with a famous actress and he loves to take you to the most fancy restaurants between shows. After a Sunday Matinee he takes you to dinner, wines and dines you and then takes you dancing in one of his cousins fancier establishments.. He enjoys noticing the paparazzi taking photos of the two of you together.

☘️ Likes to fuck you in your dressing room, fantasises about taking you on the stage, not in front of an audience but with the heat of the stage lights shining on you as he fucks you rough.

Nobody asked for this but I recently rewatched Prisoners! Such a really cool film that doesn't hold your hand <3 I fell in love with Detective Loki all over again 😭 he's such a cool character because hes really up for interpretation! Def check it out if ya aint seen it already!

SFW Dating David Loki headcanons!!

Oh boy, being with this man will be pretty rocky and take a lot of communication and patience tbh. He'll often be absent, late for dates, or have to reschedule them due to his demanding job as a detective.

I'd say David doesn't really have the time to create many deep relationships, mostly fleeting ones. A few one night stands here and there, but a rare occurrence none the less. He's not too into flings but he's a rather lonely person and still a man with needs if ya know what I mean 👀

But! Back to his absentness, let's say you're someone who's stuck around for awhile and understand his life style and him as a person more or less. He never enjoys cancelling on you or not being able to spend time with you. You're very important to him but he's also got a important job to do.

It'll stress him out a bit, he's a bit of a perfectionist and a pretty empathetic person in general. He'll try his damn best to make time for you since he does really appreciate you putting up with him and being one of the very few people he can be himself and relax around. Definitely feels like he doesn't deserve you, or just got really lucky. 💖

David's not picky with dates and definitely won't mind if its just you picking out places that you enjoy. He'll like doing whatever if its with you.

I'd say one of his favorite activities to do with you is travel if you're into such a thing. He likes exploring and learning new things about people and the world, especially the more positive aspects since he mostly sees the ugly side of humanity at work.

Another one would be going to see a movie or going to your home and cooking a meal for him whilst you listen to music or what have you. It's very comforting to him and relaxes him. Being with you and being close to you really is a nice get away from the harsh world out there, that waits for him every day. He also doesn't really cook for himself too often or has time to enjoy home cooked meals. He always loves your meals even if you're not the most fancy cook.

He'll sometimes try to repay the favor, he can be a pretty decent cook when he really tries.

He'll be very grateful if you're particularly understanding of his chaotic schedule and the strain it puts him through. He'll often try to hide how much a case is wearing him out of effecting him, wanting to for your sake.

That stress tic he has will often give it away though.

He'll be very soft with you and even a little dorky at times. David enjoys making you laugh with his dry/sarcastic humor. Seeing you smile or hearing your laugh is one of the highlights of his day.

So expect phone calls from him while hes at work pretty often. He likes to keep in contact with you to try and make up for when he's not there.

But there will be times where he won't call at all due to a particularly difficult or tasking case. He'll make it up to you though.

He always tries to make it up to you.

The detective himself isn't a very clingy person but if you are, he'll very much enjoy it actually. He didn't have the best childhood nor youth and it may take a bit to break his walls down, but once he lets you in he'll take all that you'd want to give him.

For him I'd say he likes to hold you a lot. He's a very protective guy and it relaxes him to always have you in his arms, knowing you're there and that you're safe.

David's pretty flexible though. If you enjoy certain other things more he'll definitely take note of it. He's a very perceptive guy, being a detective and all.

Like say if you enjoy receiving gifts he'll enjoy getting you the things that you like. He wants you to know that he really does love you even if he can't be by your side all the time, so he'll often express that with his actions.

Now David is a very intelligent and logical guy, but also has a lot of internal fears that he tries to hide.

So when it comes to jealousy, I'd say he'd only get a little jealous if someone was able to offer you more than he could in the stability department. It's really one of his biggest regrets that he can't be there for you more often than he'd like to.

David likes to protect and to provide, so if another person appears that you begin to become good friends with and are able to spend more time with than him, he'll start to get afraid that you'll tire of him not being around and prefer the person who can be around more.

He trusts you, and doesn't blame you- he just doesn't want to lose you. I feel you'd either notice something was up and ask him about it, or he'd eventually wisen up and awkwardly bring it up.

I feel he'd just need some reassurance and he'd realise that he was being silly, then apologise to you; also probably asking how he can make it up to you as usual. 💕

David has a great ability at remaining calm and rational, and when it comes to you, even more so. I don't ever really see him raising his voice at you, even if/when you yell during arguments and fights.

He'd try his best to diffuse whatever was going on and be understanding. Or just wait until you let it all out and give you your space before coming back to talk to you more.

Depending on how bad the fight is, and he's the angry one, David would probably need some space as well. Probably go on a drive. It helps him think and calm down.

All in all, it'll be turbulent and may take time to get close to him depending on how you are, but once he's in- he's all in.

Loyal, dependable when it matters, understanding, paitent, and a great romantic partner.

so... vaggie.

definitely also one of my faves YET the LEAST thought-out character out of the ENTIRE main six cast, asides from niffty, of course.

honestly, i'm not surprised- given that this is a very frequent phenomenon in media, where one of the people in a sapphic couple end up being watered down to nothing but as an accessory for their partner (uwu gay bean!!! wow vaggie so gay for charlie !!!!!). i mean. I SUPPOSE i can see the direction they were trying to aim her character towards but ... its just so... MEEH? literally, that's the BEST word i'd have to use for her character as a whole. a pretty interesting idea/take yet lacking proper execution & diligence in making consequent storylines.

the wiki page states:

Vaggie is an angel and former Exorcist. She is the deuteragonist of Hazbin Hotel and serves as the manager of the Hazbin Hotel.

Skilled in combat and very protective of her girlfriend, Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie is tough but has a heart of gold.

there's EIGHT episodes. EIGHT EPISODES where they'd managed to flesh out VOX better than HER who is literally supposed to become a major threat only in SECOND season. don't get me wrong, im a vox kinnie and i love him so much, but it sickens me how there's so much we can say about vox but VAGGIE???? vaggie's ENTIRE personality just basically spins around charlie.

and hey, that's fine, too! it can make up for an interesting arc- and there's clearly implications of how she struggles to separate herself from charlie, example:

episode three, scrambled eggs:

"I took charge today and it all went sideways. I'm supposed to make your dreams a reality. I'm supposed to protect you. I'm supposed to never fail you."

"If I can't help you, what's the point of me?"

like. I REALLY do recognize what they were planning out- i only feel like there wasn't enough.... flavour? emotion? screen-time devoted towards her struggles? or maybe this also could be the result of hazbin hotel's recurring problem: "show, don't tell." and honestly i kinda presume the last one to be more suitable in this case.

the thing is, a lot of stuff that viv says doesn't really make it into the show. she keeps mentioning how husk LOVES magician tricks, grew up in a casino, but... if i didnt know any better i'd NEVER have even the slightest thought that he, in fact, enjoys magic tricks??? the closest to that is him using cards as weapons but it can be easily alluded to his gambling addiction instead. or how angel dust was from the mafia. look at this pink twink and say to my face that he has an inkling of mafiosa blood in him?

im really on edge about this scene because on one hand, i can praise the team for at least making a scarce attempt at establishing her issues- on the other... jesus fucking christ, it was so out of place. i mean, if you didn't SCRUPULOUSLY inspect and examine it time and time again just like i did, and watched it for the first time, you'd be just left dumbfounded and utterly lost on "where tf did that just come from????"

this is only ONE sentence, too. we NEVER get it brought up again. NEVER. we just... then continuously ignore it up until the end. of course, charlie & vaggie talk it out eventually. it was very sweet and an example of healthy communication between the two, however quite iffy:

vaggie: " I'm sorry I got so crazy today."

charlie: " No, no, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I put pressure on you. We work as a team. I guess I just thought all this would be easier, but, we'll figure it out, together. I mean, look what your exercise did for them."

very good apologies! i loved how apologetic both of them were and how they were instantly willing to talk it out, and that charlie respected vaggie's need for personal space & left her alone, but...

... what. in the holy. was that?

i thought the ENTIRE point was that she was UNSURE of what she was without charlie??? what do you mean "we work as a team"???? the FUCK? didn't you say some time ago "Vaggie, don't say that! You do so much! It's-" YOU INSISTED THAT SHE DOES SO MUCH OUTSIDE OF HELPING YOU BUT THEN LATER YOU QUITE LITERALLY TURN IT ON IT'S HEAD? okay. maybe you mean that this isn't ALL for charlie, and that vaggie is a distinct part of it, too. but the phrasing is so hard to decipher and in the end i can't even make sure claims because it's just so vague. was it a mistake from the writers or was it on purpose? its unclear. and im sure people wouldn't want to waste all of their brain-cells trying to make sense of what the FART this was translating and leading up to. like- simultaneously, there's this "show don't tell" problem AND vague turns of phrases, too? it's just a big mess.

"guys LOOK she's so totally dependent on charlie!!"

"so... does that mean she's basically based off charlie and is an addition to her?"

"no!!!!! she's just charlie's gf!"

honestly that's how i see it. they are trying to desperately shove something down our throat and we can't even know for sure what it is- is that chocolate or some frozen flavoured poop? okay eccentric comparison i know but i think a lot of people will agree with me when i say that vaggie deserves a MUCH more clearer storyline, without the writers having to SPELL IT OUT and assure us that this is REAL, yet provide little evidence to back up their claims.

and gosh i fucking DESPISE her name with my whole heart. the meaning/reasoning behind it makes me even more distasteful and disturbed- like there's NO fucking way sera would allow this??? she's adam's manager isn't she, so HOW DID SHE LET HIM DO THAT?? she's supposed to be in charge of this whole fucking thing and take "load" of responsibility on herself? but to me it just seems like sera fucking dumped everything onto adam and then goes whining about how "gawd guys im so stressed!!!! *wipes sweat* tis so hard sitting on my ass all day and telling adam to handle everything on a daily basis!!! *sighs* man am i tired" girl don't take ALL credit from adam away aye? considering everything, he's an amazing commander that supports his soldiers (and don't you fucking DARE tell me that he's a "misogynist", i WILL sneak into your house at night) and does all he can trying to lead an army of THOUSANDS???

vaggie's distrust for men is also unjustified... he PRAISED her and said that she was "one of his top girls", he didn't say anything along the lines of hateful, GENUINELY congratulated her for getting a gf... so where's the distrust coming from? he attacked her? it was literally lute, and all he did was take away her halo. he didn't beat her up on a daily basis or anything, at least as far as we can see? did he act-up stuck up? yeah sure, but so is lute saying that "angels don't make mistakes". and even then it's NOT a good reason to be distrustful towards men... he's just a narcissistic person that's proud of the fact he's the first man that's it. his gender literally doesn't matter in the long-run. and he's... only lowkey sexist at some points? again, it just shows more of how much of a dickbag he is rather than some predatory rapist that sees women as objects and thinks that the entire reason the exorcist army is so good is only because of him. (quote: "lute, how many demons did you kill this year?" "about two seventy five, sir" "woah, badass! pound it danger tits." he doesn't go: "man I trained you so well! gosh im such an amazing big man!" ) or wtv the fuck people think of him. and trust me, i do have the rights to argue about this as a woman who has been sexually harassed by men repeatedly. i wouldn't be creeped out by adam, i'd just think he's a sexist weird dumbass but that's it.

its just.. okay, maybe im getting a little overboard here. let's change the subject and talk about the whole ordeal with "out for love".

what the HELL was the point of that song? WHY did vaggie need to hear it? ALL she did up until that point was SOLELY because of charlie... she doesn't need to be taught to remember to protect her because THAT'S ALL SHE FUCKING DOES THROUGHOUT THE SHOW? she tells charlie not to trust angels not because of a personal vendetta/prejudice but because she's worried for charlie and her ending up disappointed by the fact that heaven isn't as carefree as she thinks? and she literally has every right to do so, her fucking lieutenant severely injured her to a point she became disabled? at least that's how they demonstrate it.

onto her backstory.

why did she spare the sinner child?

i mean... it may be a silly question but in the end it has A LOT of weight to it. she was taught that demons are HORRIBLE, eldritch creatures that deserved nothing but eternal punishment, and then suddenly she sees a kid and then refuses to kill him? i really don't believe that's how it works. what would be the difference if it was an adult crying and being scared? what was the thing that spurred her on to give mercy to a demon at that moment, "the embodiement of pure evil"? she was one of the exorcists' army's "top girls", meaning she had a very high body count, and this was another Extermination like any other, so what in the WORLD stopped her? i really don't fucking believe the delusion that she DIDN'T kill a demon child at some point before that or witnessed someone doing it instead. it's just... god i'm fuming so bad because so many things are thrown into our faces but they don't end up getting properly explained.

and don't even get me started onto the wings thing. HOW DID SHE REGROW HER WINGS GODDAMIT? IS THAT ALL SHE HAD TO DO? SING AND PRANCE AROUND TO A LATINA BEAT WITH A GIGANTIC SWORD WOMAN? WHY ISN'T IT QUESTIONED BY ANYBODY IN THE SHOW... YOU GOT TECHNICALLY AN ENTIRE LIMB RIPPED OUT AND SUDDENLY IT GROWS BACK LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED? that is so fucking strange and I'm willing to bet all my organs painful as hell.

"im not used to fighting with long hair" BITCH WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE LONG HAIR THEN??? DON'T YOU WANT TO PROTECT CHARLIE? HUH???? YOU WANT TO PROTECT HER BUT MAKE IT HARDER TO DO SO BY YOURSELF AND POSSIBLY HYPOTHETICALLY ENDANGERING HER SAFETY???

and guys, please explain to me how the fallen angel thing works? like... the process of becoming fallen? why does lucifer get funky horns + a tail and vaggie doesn't? is it because he's a seraphim and she's an exorcist? why has no one noticed that she's vastly different from the rest of sinners? literally carmilla makes a jab at that in the show itself and breaks the fourth wall, which is icky icl. HOW NO ONE FIGURED OUT SHE WAS AN EXORCIST AND WHY CHARLIE NEVER QUESTIONED THE FACT THAT SHE WIELDED A RANDOM ANGELIC SPEAR? how did she NEVER see vaggie's golden blood when she first found her? so confusing.

why the hell does she wants to help charlie? like, okay yes, she saved her and she's her girlfriend and she wants to support her and everything, but how did vaggie came to terms with the fact that hey, maybe redemption is possible? and even then the wiki says that it's " unclear whether Vaggie fully buys into Charlie's concept for redemption". and it makes her flat as a character. she doesn't have her own goals besides helping charlie.

this could truly be the fucking tagline of the show huh. i'd already forgotten what part of the show i'd mentioned and had to check my post but. listen. yeah. re: went out of their way to mention there are no gay people in storybrooke

so in season 5, when ruby (little red riding hood, and also the wolf) realises shes sure aint straight she has like the whole gay crisis thing. so, she talks it out with snow (during the celebration party for defeating the wicked witch of the west, where snow and charming announce they named their second child after the man who impregnated their first child before he set her up and sent her to prison. slay)

ruby is all like. i feel like i dont fit in here. and snow says "because you're the only one of your kind here." MEANING WOLF. BUT RUBY. WHO IS VERY MUCH TALKING ABOUT BEING GAY. IS LIKE "..MAYBE YEAH. PROBABLY, i wanna find more people like me." which is probably the funniest possible way to talk around this. because not only does it imply there are no other gay people in storybrooke (entirely true) but it also implies there are a lot more gay people in the enchanted forest (THERE ARE THREE. FIVE IF WE COUNT SEASON 7. ALL OF THEM ARE WOMEN. THIS IS MY ROMAN EMPIRE)

i also wanna add this entire scene is used as a flashback during a convo ruby is having with mulan (one of the two other gay people in the enchanted forest)

im sorry you didnt ask for so much detail. but i could quite literally discuss this show and it's choices for days on end.

half a season later dorothy (of oz fame, and the third gay person) is put into a coma and red wakes her up with true loves kiss. love wins. we never see either of these characters again. i love this show

im gonna PAGE BREAK this one teehee! dont feel like u gotta read this dookie its hecking DENSE original content lmao. this aint even all of it just the stuff that pertained directly to stories i had in mind

I used to be super passionate about developing my headworld Tenebres which like, I still love it a lot and I think about it sometimes but idk I lost the spark for it I guess haha... I had a few kinda "big arc" stories in it, some of them were just AU's for fandom stuff, but omg I'd always put my heckin heart into it maaaaang. :/

BASICALLY I RAN OUT OF CHARACTERS LOL

Tenebres Lore: Tenebres takes place in present day and focuses on the hidden society(s) of magic and monsters. Characters can vastly range in appearance and abilities; many of the rules are set as suggestions rather than guidelines. The one thing to keep in mind in regards to looks is that if they interact with common folk they need to be able to "blend in" which can be achieved in a variety of ways. While there are some classifications that entirely define some characters in what they are, there are other circumstances where a character can fall into multiple categories. In these instances, there is usually one that represents them more than the other. Generally speaking all potential types of magic are fair game in Tenebres. The only exceptions are time and dimension manipulation, which are strictly prohibited by a common code kept by most Magi.

Vera and Jagger: one of my earliest stories involved me and my friend's OCs Vera and Jagger who were both werewolves. my werewolf lore is a bit dense but suffice to say that Vera is a "moon-blessed" called a Lune werewolf and Jagger is a "moon-cursed" werewolf called a Tenebroso. Tenebroso become uncontrollable, enraged, and lose their sense of self in their wolf form. Tenebroso also target Lunes for some unknown reason, they kinda set them off..... thats da mystery is that this new "strain" of werewolves is attacking packs and Vera in particular is like "haha something's majorly up rn. im gonna get to the bottom of this" so the idea was that Vera discovers Jagger stuck somewhere and through exposure therapy of herself (a Lune) to him theyre able to uncover some of the mysteries surrounding Tenebrosos. AND THEY FALL IN LOVE. Lune Lore: Lunes are the rarest of the four races of werewolves. Their symbol atop their head is an upward-facing crescent with a dot within its arch. Lunes are so rare because of the means in which one becomes a Lune; Lunes are said to be "blessed" by the moon, seeing as more often than not it is the only time they are able to transform. This does not negate them from transforming at other times, but unlike other werewolf races, they cannot stop or even try to stop the transformation from occurring in the presence of the moon. Tenebroso Lore: Tenebroso have an upside down crescent with a circle attached to its arch on the outer rim. Some have wondered if they have any correlation with Lunes considering how similar their symbols are, though there is no evidence of this aside from the fact that Tenebroso will specifically target Lunes when they are in the area. Not much is known about Tenebrosos, though it is assumed that their initial transformation occurs under intense emotional distress. Tenebroso are big and burly, mutated-looking werewolves. Though they do not always look this way. Similar to casts their outward appearances can largely range from one to the other. Normally their bouts of rage occur around Lunes or other werewolves, leading to rampages. When a Tenebroso is out of this state of mind they look more like a normal werewolf. Their eyes will gleam white when they're attacking and can often times be seen spewing and coughing out black ooze from their mouth. Their entity will darken with a black aura as well.

Juneau my beloved: Juneau's lore is that she was a well-renown mage that began self-experimenting on herself with spells and curses and she ends up irrevocably cursing herself into sometimes becoming a big carnivorous and kinda head-empty beast so she loses her reputation and gets kicked out of prestigious mage school she taught at and lives on her own doing plague doctor work which involves curse removal and cleaning up magic "outbreaks" but she ends up getting sought out by this young familiar named Hemlock who wants to learn advanced magic (which is a no-no for familiars) but juneau's so far removed from mage society that the two agree to risk it and she takes Hemlock and a few other familiars under her wing. there's also Ethel who's a mage that accidentally turned herself into a dragon and she's hiding out with Juneau and faked her death bc she thinks her condition is humiliating, where juneau kinda owns her curse and doesnt care with other magefolk think. her and juneau dont like each other very much, Ethel is very lawful good where Juneau's pretty CHAOTICALLY aligned. she frets over them getting caught teaching familiars advanced magic, but they both have nothing better to do and miss teaching so they do it. eventually they become friends and help their little familiar students excel at magic in a more public light, bringing themselves out of hiding as well. Familiar Lore: Familiars are considered to be lesser magi. The ability to use magic in one's animal form defines what a familiar is. Their magic stems from their animal forms and is usually the form that is able to harness the largest amount of magic. Some familiars are born humans while others are animals; more often than not they're humans. Familiars are sought out at very young ages. Regardless of what a familiar was born as, every familiar has a unique symbol or symbols somewhere on their body; they are always symmetrical in their position on the body. They normally take on the general look of a swirl though its contents can vary significantly. Normally referred to as the Marks of Change, this is how a familiar is identified as a familiar and not just a magical animal. Marks of Change are normally monochromatic and can be lighter or darker than the familiar's skin. Unlike werewolf markings, Marks of Change are always visible and do not vanish when not in use; in addition to this they cannot be removed. Oftentimes these markings are in places where limbs emerge or change, but not always. In order for a familiar to be enrolled in a magic school or academy they have to successfully perform their transfiguration; this is a very simple requirement in comparison to other witches and wizards who are not themselves a familiar. Familiars have very low expectations in the magic community, the most a familiar can hope to achieve is being the assistant to a high ranking or prosperous witch or wizard. Most studies for a familiar pertain to their transfigurations as well as catalyst magic, which involves the combining of individuals' magic. Familiars are intended to be able to naturally shift between states whenever necessary. A familiar's overall comfort in their animal state can range drastically. Some find great ease shifting back and forth between forms while others, more reluctant to the change, can abstain from shifting; this comes with potential side effects such as an odd mergence of the two forms, one might start growing a tail or feathers if they choose not to shift into their animal state. Because of their constant fluctuation between forms, Familiars will often wear loose, baggy clothing that is easily removable. It is not required to a Familiar to have, but makes their removal easier when shifting into an animal. A familiar's animal form does not hinder their lifespan, though it can increase it. As familiars age, their inclination to remain in their animal form grows, though this happens very late in life. This does not mean that they lose their humanity, though in some rare cases familiars can lose their sentience.

Blake and Schofield: just 1917 AU in Tenebres, Schofield's a mage, Blake's an Origin werewolf. blake ends up dying like he does in da movie and he becomes a GHOST that "haunts" schofield, just kinda follows him around and stuff after he dies, the story being theyre trying to figure out why he didnt pass on, why he's still around. it would follow Schofield surviving the war with blake as his invisible buddy, eventually they figure out a way to bring him back and he had a purpose to serve as a ghost.

Origin Lore: Origin werewolves are identified by the O shape on their forehead. Origins are one of the more common races of werewolves. Origin werewolves are werewolves born already inheriting their ability to transform. They can come from a single werewolf parent or both, though regardless of their parents' symbol, the offspring will be an Origin. This does not affect or prohibit the inheriting of certain abilities or features from their parents, however. Origins are considered to be the average for werewolves, not necessarily being the strongest, nor the weakest. They are usually the ones to have their transformations under control at all points in time, given that they were born with the power to do so. They tend to have no special abilities aside from the obvious, and seem to be the most humane of a pack.

Farscape Tenebres AU:

John is a human, over the course of time Aeryn, a mage, teaches him how to use magic and he becomes a mage himself, but in the beginning he's just some guy that falls down a portal that allows him to travel between "mageworlds" which are kinda cut off little mage-made dimensions that magefolk use to avoid using magic around commonfolk. anyway he stumbles upon a mageworld that's sole purpose was to be a prison for people who committed magic crimes and that's how he'd find the "moya crew". D'Argo's a Cast werewolf, Zhaan's a grim reaper, Rygel's a vampire, Chiana (who they'd meet later) is a succubus. They end up escaping and just kinda exist via jumping through portals and running from the law.

I had a name for the magic police written down somewhere but it's been lost to time so it's back to being filler named: [MAGIC POLICE] lore:

The death of a magic-involved individual is something the [MAGIC POLICE] are obviously inclined to investigate

Harm of another wizard has a lot of laws and a lot of potential punishments dependent on the severity of the incident

The [MAGIC POLICE] will also investigate general public crimes that have been involved with magic, for the threat of the magic community being exposed, [MAGIC POLICE] officers are given the okay to use mind manipulation magic on the general public to aid in their forgetting of certain events

The [MAGIC POLICE]'s job is to apprehend wrongdoers whereas plague doctors for example clean up the messes afterwords

[MAGIC PRISON] (Tartarus) is where apprehended criminals are contained, it is seemingly limitless in the capacity it holds

Cast Lore:

Casts have a six-pointed star on their forehead.

Casts receive their powers by curses or spells acted upon them. The means as to how, why, and what the side effects are for a Cast may vary very much depending on how it was that they became a werewolf. This subtype of werewolves is one of the rarer kinds as magic is not common in today's society, though the ability to become a Cast still exists. They are usually the strongest of a pack, gifted with enhanced skills and strength. A Cast will normally have one particular ability that is unique to only them; that isn't to say that there aren't similarities between Cast abilities either.

Some examples may include but are not limited to: The ability to control an element (Fire, wind, electricity, water, etc.), psychic abilities (Illusion, foresight, telepathy, telekinesis, etc.), enhanced physical capabilities (Increased, strength, sleep, sight, hearing, etc.)

Casts are only able to use their magic in their wolf forms.

Some Casts can be muleheaded and a bit arrogant in dealing with affairs, though the other werewolves know how to put a Cast in its place. Casts will sometimes have unique coloring and fur, occassionally one may see a Cast with vibrant colors in association with its natural fur color. They are also seen to have odd mutations in their wolf forms such as an extra set of limbs, though not all of them carry this trait.

So I have a playlist for the EAH music au I made and I wanted to share some of my favorite specific songs for some of the characters.

(note: these are not what I think their voices sound like, moreso what their musical sound would be and/or the lyrics they would write)

(and another note: not all characters are here as not all character make music. yes they're all in the music industry, but that doesn't mean they write or create music. some do art, some marketing, some are lawyers, hell some are security. so if your fav aint here, they're doing something else)

Dexter: I'm made this whole thing for him but I can't decide on a single sound for him. I feel the closest would be With Confidence. I mean the playlist is long, but seven songs from just one band, from various albums too, I'd say that's one of the top runners.

Darling: since Darling writes the majority of Apple's music, her lyrics are like Taylor Swift songs. But she as an individual is a bit of an enigma. She makes her lyrics sound very much royal, when really she's a rebel, but she's also Wonderlandian at heart. So would she sound like Junie and the Hutfriends? Or maybe Studio Killers? or AlicebanD? very honestly it could be all, none, whatever. I do feel like those could fit her though.

Raven: I know that canonically she's a huge of fan of Taylor Quick but that doesn't mean she can't like other genres or that her own sound can't be different from what her favorite. I imagine her musical sound a lot like Icon For Hire, especially with the album You Can't Kill Us, I think it's a perfect fit for her. Paramore and Avril Lavigne are also close to her.

Apple: Taylor Swift. She is the pop princess and Apple would be too. starting her career at a young age, writing stories she makes up and having her sound change and grow the more she does. But also The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess album by Chappell Roan once she breaks away from the idea of making music solely for the money and fame.

Briar: Ke$ha. just all her music.

Cerise: Disobedient from Steven Universe. it's just so perfect for her. The obvious choice is She-Wolf by Shakira, which is also there for her, but Sadie and the Killers.

Sparrow and his Merry Men: Hats off the to Bull by Chevelle. no thoughts, just vibes. OR (i guess one thought), i know a lot of people dont like him, i am not one of them, i think he's fun and classic stereotypical emo, TX2.

Poppy: genuinely imagine her and Holly writing and singing Something That I Want by Grace Potter about their parents. I feel like Holly and Poppy made like a single album when they were younger and both moved on to do other things but they both still really liked music. Holly nowadays just plays short covers of songs on social media and Poppy of course being a hair stylist that eventually joins Dexter and Darling's band. With a musical sound and voice like the lead singer in Tonight Alive.

Maddie: S.J. Tucker. I'm not a huge fan of her music, a couple songs here and there, my partner is and loves how witchy her sound is. Maddie ain't every witchy, but she is odd and witchy-ness can and is also very weird and goes every which way. one song can sound like a whole different genre from another and I feel like Maddie would very much like that sound. Especially with some lesser known instruments thrown in there. (if we wanna talk about what I think her voice sounds like; Madilyn Mei)

Ashlynn: Ryn Weaver. no thoughts just vibes pt. 2

Duchess: the plot I have for her is that she isn't very musically inclined. except for dancing. she can't play instruments and can barely sing. but she has the look and is willing to do anything to become a pop star. so I have a hard time deciding what she would sound like. except ambience music near a lake. she goes along with the vibe of AURORA. Who knows it could be a Paulo and Lizzy McGuire situation where she's just a pretty face with someone else's voice over hers.

Melody: she could be doing so many different things i dont know how to choose just one. i feel like her true sound is Maggie Rogers or Chase Petra while the music she's kinda forced to have per her Charming Records contract is more like Marshmello. Very electric.

Humphrey: Flamingo by Token. i know no other song by him, and i rarely listen to rap as it isn't my jam. Only reason i know this song was a friend from high school gave me some recommendations.

Meeshell: I like the idea of her sounding like Regina Spektor. A light, smooth, clear voice over music that has clear and distinct beats. Often doing music for movies, ending songs that bring the story to a fitting finish.

Hopper: he doesn't make music per my writing, but he does write lyrics. I feel like he writes things like Cody Fry or Gang of Youths. Horribly beautiful and haunting lyrics that tell stories of death and love and beauty paired with huge symphonic melodies that are overwhelming in the best possible way.

Faybelle: Becky by Be Your Own Pet. It took me some time to figure out what exactly her sound would be but i feel like it would be a lot of loud kinda venting music to get all of her emotions out in any way she can. Even though she can get them out just fine on a normal day (though she would never admit that's what she's doing, always playing it off as not as important as it is to her, especially if it's any feeling other than anger.) sometimes writing music for it just feels better.

Chase: yes I made him an important character cause fuck you, I do what I want. Starset. The song Carnivore specifically. I wanted him to have an otherworldly but grounded type feel. like all wonderlandians though his being more...I don't want to say put together. Cohesive than the others. while the other wonderlandians are somewhat all over the place with their acoustic music, his is electronic and always revolving around a certain theme.

and that's just the current generation.

The Evil Queen has a musical sound like Pat Benatar (a personal fav of mine) though the only reason she ever had any sort of softer sounding music was because of pressure from her manager and company.

Snow White has a sound like Whitney Houston, especially with Whitney's History with Dolly Parton. I don't know who Dolly would be in this, but i dont know where i was going with this train of thought. like i said, no thoughts, just vibes.

I was wondering if you could write about Tommy falling back into little brother habits when Joel and ellie come back to Jackson. Being all up in his brother's space, borrowing his clothes, saying he isn't hungry but eating off Joel's plate. (My sister used to do that to me all the time.) Ellie is surprised and Maria is aghast by the rudness. Joel just rolls his eyes and says he's always been like this. Just more Miller brothers!

You Keep Goin' for Family

"Joel, isn't that your shirt?" Ellie asks, pointing to Tommy across the street, working with John to dig a fence post.

"Sure looks like it, don't it?" Joel says. He squints for a moment more, then shakes his head.

"Aren't you going to say something to him?" Ellie huffs her hands on her hips as she stares Tommy down.

Joel waves it off and keeps walking. Ellie eventually lets up her stare and scrambles after him.

It's lunchtime, and Joel's got little Mateo on his lap, he's playing a rousing game of peekaboo when Tommy sidles up to the table and grabs the apple off of Joel's plate.

"Tomas Isaac Miller, what's wrong with the apple on your plate?" Joel says from behind his hands Mateo giggles and wiggles with glee.

"Ain't as shiny as yours," Tommy says, taking a giant bite. He makes a sour face and then places it back on Joel's plate.

"Hey, now. What is this all about?" Joel says, waving to the now-wasted apple.

"Didn't taste so good. I'm gonna stick with mine," Tommy says with a shrug and a wave as he wanders off again, chowing down on his own apple. Joel sucks his teeth in exasperation but goes back to playing with Mateo, who desperately grabs at Joel's hands, trying to make him put them up back at his face. Joel chuckles and obliges him getting a quick laugh and squill when he pops out again from behind them.

"Joel, why do you let him do that?" Maria says, staring off disapprovingly at her husband's back.

"Aint nothing, really. I'm used to it, he used to pull this shit with me all the time when we was kids." Joel answers, turning Mateo around to face the table so he can play with the little block set out for him, now that he seems to be bored with peekaboo.

"Well, I get that, but he's a grown man now," Maria moves some of the blocks around, and Mateo angrily moves them back to where they were. Joel and Maria both laugh at his little face as he glares at her.

"I'll be honest with ya, Maria, I'm just happy I still got him around to give me shit. There was a time I never thought I'd have this again." Joel's face darkens for a moment, and Maria reaches out and places her hand on his. Joel looks up to her, his brows furrowed, his mouth pulled down. "I won't make excuses. I was a right idy-jit after... outbreak day. But I did what I thought I needed to do to keep Tommy and myself alive, but it weren't enough, and I know that now. Tommy did the right thing leavin' me. I'm just sorry it took me so damn long to get my act together so we could have this again."

Joel pats Maria's hand when she gives him a gentle squeeze, and some of the pain drains from his face when Mateo babbles loudly about the tower he built. "That's mighty fine work, little buddy." He says, lowering his head so he can leave a soft kiss on the crown of Mateo's head. "I'll put up with all his stupid shit if it means I got my little brother back again." He gives Maria a stern eye and continues, "But don't you tell him that, don't need that boy getting a bigger head than he already has."

Maria laughs and puts her hands up in agreement. "You'll have no argument from me there, I promise I won't say anything to him." She leans forward and whisper talks to Mateo. "Though your daddy might end up needing to be a little nicer to his big brother when he finds out that you're gonna have a brother or sister to play with, in about 7 months, and he needs someone to help babysit."

Joel looks down at her, his eyes wide, and she smiles a wicked little grin. "Though you might like to have a little something to hold over him in repayment." She says, a twinkle in her eye.

"Damn women, you are downright evil, but thank ya, and congratulations," Joel says, matching her smile.

"Well, you better use that info today; otherwise, I'm telling him myself tonight," Maria says, taking Mateo from Joel as he gathers their trays.

"Don't you worry none Maria, I plan to," Joel laughs.

The opportunity presents itself almost as soon as they leave the dining hall when Tommy's suddenly right next to him, throwing his arm around Joel's shoulder.

"So, big brother, when are you gonna ask that nice Miss. Molly out for a date?" Tommy asks, a shit-eating grin on his face "I heard she gave you a pie for the work you did for her on her porch the other day."

"My love life ain't any of your business," Joel grouses, shoving Tommy out of his personal space.

"Hey, now I just wanna know when it is I can expect to welcome a new member to the Miller family. Can't be all on your own forever," Tommy says.

"I ain't alone I got Ellie, and she's more than enough trouble for me, thank you, and I don't need to worry about adding members to the Miller family when you're doing a fine job all on your own," Joel says.

Tommy stops, his eyes squinting at him in confusion. "What do ya mean by that?"

"I don't know, baby brother, it's you who can't manage to keep his hands to himself and keeps knocking up your wife," Joel smirks as Tommy goes pale and starts to bluster and stammer, Maria and Joel stopping to turn to him.

"What... what... I-I don't... Maria? Am I gonna be a daddy again?" He looks to her, his eyes large. "And did ya tell my brother before you told me?"

"Yes, you are, and yes, I did, maybe next time you won't be so focused on teasing your brother to forget that I told you I had something I wanted to tell you at lunch," Maria says, one hand on her hip the other one holding Mateo up.

Tommy hangs his head like a whipped dog and scuffs his boot on the ground. "I'm sorry, darlin' I remember you sayin' that now this mornin'."

"It did, but it's okay. Can you come over here and kiss me already?" She holds out her hand to him, palm up.

"Always mi amor." He says. Joel steps in fast to grab Mateo before Tommy takes Maria into his arms and spins her around, laughing and kissing her at the same time.

"What the hell is going on here?" Ellie says, scooting under Joel's free arm to tuck herself right against his side.

"I just found out you're gonna have another little cousin to drive you crazy in some months' time," Tommy says, holding Maria close to him.

Ellie reddens at the use of the word cousin in relation to her but hides it in typical Ellie fashion "Ewww, you guys, can't you stop like procreating or something? Every time you do, I have to think about the fact that you guys did like the horizontal mambo."

Joel guffaws in surprise as both Tommy and Maria chuff out laughs as well. "Damn girl, you don't pull no punches. Well, you're just gonna have to deal with it because I kinda like the idea of havin' a nice big family, and If I can't count on my big brother to add any more members to the family, then it's just gonna have to be me and Maria" Tommy says waggling his eyebrows.

Maria indignantly slaps him on the shoulder and says, "Oh no, you don't, I ain't anyone's broodmare. This is the last Miller you are getting out of me, mister."

Tommy throws up his hands in surrender, and Maria kisses him tenderly. Joel smiles at them and thinks again how happy he is to have his little brother back. He'll deal with his shit any day if he can have this too.

"You know, it would be nice if you would be a little more careful with my shit, though," Joel says, nodding his head at the rip in the shirt Tommy is wearing that is very much his.

"I don't know what you're talkin' bout, Joel, this rip was here when I stole the shirt from ya." Tommy's eyes twinkle with delight.

"Ripped my ass," Joel says and cuffs Tommy on the back of his head.

While Atsumu likes those heartbreaking, Whitney Houston-like lyrics with high energy backgrounds, Osamu likes those romantic, suave songs with acoustic guitars and small drums on the instrumentals.

So Lover was my number one pick.

Soap just grinned his usual wolfish grin at his Bonnie. "Well lass when two mortals love each other very much..."

"Doesn't have to be love, Imvaassj." Ghost drawled out and chuckled as he waved him off.

"Right, when two mortals get down to it they fuck and boom a bairn is made."

"Right. Well honestly I'm kind of shocked you even know how babies are made." She laughed as he cocked his head.

"Course I know how they're made. I've made a few." Soap huffed and that got his Bonnie to look at him concerned.

"We've all made little ones, hen." Price says before tilting his head back and letting smoke roll out of his mouth.

"Aye why you think Alejandro and Rudy are so attentive to their hen?" Soap said with the biggest grin on his face as he bit his bottom lip like he was holding back a secret. "It's 'cause they're trying to knock her up bonnie."

He grabbed her before she could jump to her feet to warn the Inquisitor. With the amount of greater demons in one location... audio was spotty at best and it seemed that this moment would be conveniently lost.

"I aint done with ye. Now, if you want someone who is attentive I'd suggest going after a keeper or a changer... if you want a nest and the whole big display of wooing you and then leaving you... well that would be a slanneshi move. Really all depends on the demon's or prince's personality nothing really a blanket statement cept when you get with a bloodthirster or a demon prince of khorne we tend to do it with mortals with the full intent of knocking them up." He explains just sitting her down again as Ghost wanders over.

"My preferred partners are knights." Ghost drawls on.

"Aye but you have a nasty habit of tragic romances there Ghost."

He shrugs, "Not my fault I fall madly in love with my quarry. Though I am enjoying one of my Initiates company... a good little bird." He mutters as his brass eyes unfocused.

"Back on topic..." She says softly looking back at Soap. "So lets say you did knock me up." She leans back as Soap just practically vibrates before Ghost grabs the back of his neck.

"Heel. Try your best not to scare your bird." Is all Ghost says before he walks away after being happy with how much Soap calms down.

He swallows, his eyes glowing a little bit brighter, his chest puffed up a little more, she could practically see the outline of his horns around his head... she was confused was he preening? "But, when I do knock you up. You can expect a few things. Ahh if I was an unaligned demon you'd get something to what you humans would have called changlings or demigods depending on how strong they were. So not quite human but human enough. But given the amount of aether that would be going into you..." He taps his chin thinking.

"Well when König knocks up one of his darlings it's usually always another bloodthirster and also for him usually kills the mother."

Said bloodthirster huffed softly, "I'll make a demon prince one of these days. Just have to find... the right one so to speak." He said looking up from his book; a murder mystery.

"Aye but that's because he's a big boy and he tends to have big boys. But as for me I've made a few bloodthirsters, bloodletters, and a couple of blessed children. Al tends to make bloodthirsters as well but that's because of his rank. The old man's got one of his in yer Grey Knights."

Her head whipped over to Price, who just shrugged and barked, "I'm not that old. I'm at most a few centuries older than you. But yes one of my blessed brood is a grey knight. Not uncommon for what were once considered demigods to you mortals to be picked up by your space marines." He sighs softly, "Just I'm so disappointed that he went and joined them. Utilizes psyker powers too and everything."

"Geeze you sure don't sound too torn up." She states as Price barks out a laugh.

"No didn't really care for the mother with that one. But I'm certain my sweetheart and I can make a couple of happy little ones when she lets me." His chest rumbled.

"R-right... I think I've spent too long here." She gets up to her feet rather quickly but Soap grabs her.

"Och no. Yer goin' to gab to the Inquisitor." Soap growls as all of the bloodthirsters in the room look at her with that molten gaze. "They'll keep me away from you bonnie... keep us away from our hens... if they found out what we were after. Al and Rudy are so close to being a proud pair of papas... ye don't wanna take that from them do ye?"

"Imvaassj Pohn Oynhcat," She manages to hiss out watching his bindings glow but he fails to be contained and Soap just grins.

"Stay still for a wee moment bonnie. I was truthful with ye. Doesn't mean you have to remember it all."

"What."

Is all she manages to say before she grows slack jawed and eyes glazed as he pulls a glowing strand from the side of her head. Oh Johnny can't lie... none of the boys in the room could lie. They could be like fae of old and with hold the truth but not outright lie. Perhaps Johnny was a bit more of a fae then he let on as he pulled out bits from her memory to let it snap back like a rubber band.

He laughs, "What don't like the idea that Nurgle demons and demon princes just make the chunkiest babies." He says continuing a conversation that had no start. Watching her face grimace. "Like I was saying fussiest babies are from Slannesh, the curious ones are from Tzeentch..."

"And what about your lord?"

Soap just grinned at her, "We get the calmest little babies after all they should enjoy their innocence before their future is drenched in blood."

OHHH hard to choose. Ive been rewatching Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War (and watching s3 for the first time) lately and its def one of my faves. It's a comedy but it has a kot of serious parts fit into it really well (Sometimes in comedies rhe serious bits are totally ruined bt sticking a joke in the middle, or theyre just inserted into it reslly weirdly- I think love is war does it really well tho)

OH !!! Mononoke is also rlly good its probably my all time fav in its genre (Like I wouldnt pit a comedy against mononoke bcs you gotta judge them on different things yk?). Its also the onky dubbed anime that I watch the sub with. The dub aint bad but I thi jnk the sub is just rlly good.

In generalllll I'd say The Disasterous Life of Saiki K bcs its so rewatchable imo (I'm the worlds #1 rewatfher ever).

OH JAPAN SINKS 202O THATS ONW OF MY FAVES 100% i'm Science Saru's #1 dickrider but I really enjoy it in general for a lot of reasons. Bcs its SciSaru the animation has a really unique feel- When you get to watching so many anime you can lose interest in an otherwise good one if it has the standard, boring style every time yk? SciSaru tho has a lot of influence from western animation as well as eastern- The chief of animation is actually Spanish and worked in Ireland and France before going to Japan for SciSaru !! France is actually where one of the founders met Góngora (chief animator) and when he started his own abimation studio w/ Eunyoung Choi (other founder) he invited Góngora to join. Sorry I rlly like taljing abt SciSaru.

Anyway the studios animation is of itself is a amazing. I lije to describe it often as a more western feel with the actual animation, but a very Anime-y framing and bloxking if that makes sense? I could go on abt this for hours. anyway

As I said Japan Sinks 2020 is super good, so's a lot of SciSaru's other stuff. Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken is also an AMAZING one done by them. iirc it was the first of their anime that I watched.

Sarazanmai and Stars Align are also great ones !! Yk how when you finish one rlly good media you immediately want The Exact Same Thing but Slightly Different? I like to rec those rwo together bcs it feels like that sorta vibe. Weathering With You also ig. If you were to watxh both of them I'd say go for Stars Align first tho, or else the wildness of Sarazanmai might make Stars Align seen like a bit of a letdown. idk

If I had to go for movies I'm always a sucker for Makoto Shinkai ones, and if you like his stuff then Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop might be down your alley too. I've been watching the Satoshi Kon fest and Tokyo Godfathers is AMAZING as well. Pretty different from the ones I just mentioned tho

Last years fall season releases had some gems too!! Hells Paradise, My Home Hero, and Heavenly Delusion were amazing. I havent finished those last two yet tho haha

Kotaro Lives Alone also came out last year I think? or maybe 2020-2022 idrr. Its a luttle sad but its rlly good. So sad that theres no more ToT

Minami gay discussion (Part 2)

So Minori is scaring Ami with some shitty ghost stories, but then

MOOD'S CHANGED.

Sis is flabbergasted. Because she does not yet understand what the fuck Minori is talking about. This doesn't stop Minori, who knows Ami will understand her and pick it up.

Minori is telling essentially "people are attracted to people who understand them". She says this, btw, while using her analogy about ghosts and love. The one thing she had only ever told Ryuji before. While TRYING TO MAKE AMI UNDERSTAND HER.

YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND HOW FUCKING RABID THIS MAKES ME. IT'S SO GOOD. AND SO GAY.

And so, Minori ditches Ryuji to go tell this to Ami. Ami, who has no idea of the chat they had at the beach. She's trying so hard, in her own way, to make Ami understand. Understand that she's moved on.

But Ami's caught on. And she aint picking up what Minori's lying down.

As established: Ami has no patience for bullshit. Minori being this roundabout is just more of that. It pisses Ami off, and she tells it outright.

She also probably does this because, as she's caught on, she doesn't really wanna hear what comes next.

But Minori insists. She's like... really desperate for this. She wants Ami to understand so hard. AFTER JUST STATING THAT GHOSTS (her love metaphor, I repeat) SHOW THEMSELVES TO PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THEM

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHOW

Anyways, here's where Ami shows her cards.

She's projecting. She's guilty and she thinks Minori is gonna blame her for everything that happened. So she tries to take one step forward, trying to pretend she doesn't care.

But we all know Minori. Minori would never do that. And she has no reason to blame Ami, either. Ami's comments wouldn't have changed the outcome, because Taiga still likes Ryuji and vice-versa.

But... Ami doesn't know that Minori witnessed Taiga's breakdown, and that that was the moment she gave up for real, despite everything.

But Minori's just confused. And surprised. This is the first time she's heard of Ami's guilt and I fully believe she was taken off guard by the sudden counter-argument to something she hadn't even thought.

But Ami's got no time for bullshit, so she starts to leave.

I'd make a joke about 'head straight' but this is just japanese translated so too bad.

Anyways, Minori knows she has no time to explain now so she tries to get to the point. She's thinking 'clearly' now. She's not full of doubts anymore (lies) and she wants Ami to know this so hard.

But Ami misunderstands all of this as her still blaming her. And also... she doesn't wanna hear it. She doesn't wanna hear that Minori is giving up romance, love, happiness.

She'll make her own decisions moving forward. As stated in a future episode, her new philosophy is that only she can gran herself happiness. So she'll 'settle everything', that being, making sure Taiga and Ryuji stay together.

But whether she gets it across correctly or not...

Ami still doesn't wanna hear it.

She's upset, and guilty, and feeling like shit. And now she's half certain Minori is giving up all romance due to her actions and all she can do is walk away and try to ignore it (learning from the best, of course).

The text of the scene is crazy good, but the subtext? This is almost an anti-confession. Ditching the guy you like to go close off your emotional arc with someone arguably unrelated to it, and wanting them to truly understand you? And you want them to know, so hard, that you're ignoring romance because it's a hassle?

Why Ami? If she was angry with Ami, she wouldn't have started this conversation. Please, bear in mind: They're not even friends. Up until this point they have only ever interacted because they're both in the Ryuji/Taiga circle of people.

Why do they care so much about each other? Ami goes constantly out of her way to try to get her to be more honest, even at her arguable detriment. Minori being here, trying to get Ami and herself on the same page. What did she hope to achieve?

Think of it from her perspective. She tells Ami this story about ghosts and she'll finally understand how she feels and... then what? What happens if she's like "oh, I get it" and accepts your feelings?

An apology? That's not what Minori is after. The only thing that can spar from this is... well, a relationship. Platonic, of course. Mutual understanding, getting rid of their grievances.

But Ami's idiosyncrasies stop this from happening. Because despite everything, they're not on the same page. Minori's roundabout way of expressing herself gets on Ami's nerves and Ami can't help being pissed.

IT'S SO COMPLICATED AND SO FUCKING GAY AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH

Been a looong while but I'm back with a new episode commentary. 1x09 here we go!

The instant recall to finale of spn s 1 is just as delicious and jarring this time around. Find it very very interesting that it's the vampires that mimic the Winchesters here and do so in order to learn their fate and fulfil it. I'd definitely call this a dark mirror to begin with.

I also adore these vamps, they're sooo fun looking.

John and Mary really came out of that near death experience losing no time in getting together.

The appreciation of Dean being paralleled to the appreciation of Baby is just... sooo funny considering the sheer amount of connections there.

Soo Kyle is instantly suspish here. Not even hiding it, damn. You can tell the shift in personality just based off his demeanor. I also think the little hand gesture he does as he walk away is interesting, it's almost like he's saying "im washing my hands off this bullshit". It subble enough that you could think it's jealousy.

The little hints at Lata and John friendship! My beloved!. Also Lata is suuuch a gossip I love her!

I once more am asking John Winchester to stop trying to be subtle, it aint his strong suit. But alternatively, I sorta get it? Like I can understand why it would be confusing if u don't get where Mary is coming from, since she has no problem letting strangers (and exs) on the street see them together, but not their close friends? But I also completely get Mary as well, she's actually lived as a hunter her whole life which means bagage already, then the fact that their relationship is new and fragile. Plus both her parents and his haven't had the easiest time with relationships. Cautious makes sense.

Ah yes, "fate is what u make it". Dean hearing it from John who heard it from Millie. All of them have their very personal reasons for that saying to apply, but also... Dean saying he didn't expect where things got when he "pushed that first domino" reminds me of Cas and him talking after the 1st Apocalypse that wasn't and about how free will sometimes means things aren't really gonna go the way you like them.to or expect them to (peace or freedom?). It's sorta funny then (read:ironic) that in both John's life (SPN!John) and Dean and Cas after Swan Song the outcome was actually quite tragic over all, John's life literally going out in flames with the rest of it being a living nightmare and in Dean and Cas' case Sam is dead and Heaven is starting a Civil War. This episode then does something really nice in subverting that expectation by setting up the tragedy (John is to die, can't change that) and allowing him to survive and not just that but ending it with him getting exactly what he'd wanted here in the beginning of the episode, getting to freely be with Mary.

I adore how Carlos calms down the driver, showing once again the full range of their skill as hunter and empathy as person. Love them so so much!

Couldn't get a hold of John, says Mary, being more suspicious then if she and John had shown up together... I find that hilarious!

Also also, love that this clarified that fangs are still teeth aka u can identify people (vampires here) based on them. I love love love that!

Uuuù Betty is suspish about Mary.

God! Dean had to have loved the vampire robbers. Vobbers? Rompires? Vambbers?

Oh noooo John! Don't be ur children! Don't just pick up random amulets like a moron! (At least we know who they got it from?)

Carlos is almost just as bad, my God! You see ur friend drop it like it hot and you just bend to.pick it urself?! Ah, Carlos, the range you got babe.

John dying by vamps begins my headache of the night because it is 1000% a callback to Dean's death in 15x20. And I wish that wasnt the case.

Ok let's talk Ursitoare (Uhr- see-too-ah-reh) a sec. So this is Romanian myth. To give an overview of it, the myth largely relates to the Ursitoare (or Fates you could say) blessing or cursing a new born after they've been born. Usually the legend states that the mother or midwife would have to leave out gifts (generally food like bread or water or salt etc) to basically appease them and make sure the baby gets a good destiny foretold. It's also states that those who eavesdrop on them as they tell the childs destiny shall die. They are also said to be quick to anger if spurned. Another interesting think tho about the myth is that (while there can sometimes be 7 or 9) the 3 ursitoare are generally known as Ursitoarea, Soarta si Moartea (aka the One who Wishes your fortune, Fate and Death) again the Greak Fates work very well and there's def overlap between the myths here. But importantly, Ursitoarea is the oldest and Death the Youngest (or othewise simply stated as the 3rd).

Now based on this we have a few things to keep in mind, mainly our vampires. They esentially eavesdrop on John's fate here and get exactly what the legend states - killed. In other news, the Ursitoare are very much neutral beings generally. They can be plied with offerings sure, but overall they just spin the thread as it goes. Its only ever an active role when wishing the newborns destiny. Now John's our newborn here, new to hunting at least, reborn once already after the war and a second time after confrunting everything he has since hunting became his life. More importantly, in some versions of the myth, the ursitoare give either the mother or the midwife dreams the night after the baby is born that need to be carefully interpreted afterwards - exactly what the Gem does here.

To wrap this part up a bit, I am.endlessly happy about the way they tackled this myth. SPN had sadly a bad bad record with Romanian mythology and lore - 1st with the witches in s7 which I'd argue was ... 'inspired' by rromani mythology rather than Romanian which is its own culture and as such its own racist connotation to that whole mess. And 2nd with the Imaginary Friends in s 11 aka Zanna .... which has absolutely nothing to do with Romanian mythology beyond slapping a horrendous mispronunciation of Zână onto a piece of lore that doesnt exist in Romanian mythos - we don't have any imaginary friend stuff, its literally all imported from the US. So this lore here? This is fucking aces! It actually makes sense, is actually a Romanian myth that is still being invoked nowadays - especially in the countryside as tradition of baptising/birth and it works very well in the context of the episode. Now, it would've been perfect if they didnt add that shh sound in Ursitoare making ir Urshitoare... Like its funny a bit cuz I constantly think of bears (urşi - ursh is plural for bear in Romanian) but its ok since its just that. I can live with a minor mispronunciation. I will say the Gem itself is fully made up tho for TW.

To answer Carlos tho, the Ursitoare themselves tell u 2 things: the future and also a future they are willing to bless or curse you with. It's essentially both. They show u the future, ur life as it's meant to be exactly, no deviation, but only in pieces or really a piece as a dream and, importantly the sorta end result of ur life which they wish upon u as newborn. How u get to that wish is up to you. The Gem.appears to have merged these two.

I also love love love the show of community that hunters have, that a hunters network is important to getting the job done. It makes me strangle SPN!John worse because he actively isolated himself aaand his kids. Ffs!

Awwwweee I like Betty! I mean shes a cop soo... not great but shes nice and cares so much and is worried :((

Millie does a good job here I think. She's not dismissive of Bettys concerns, but shes also careful to dispel them if possible. She shows once more how good she is at manipulating people, tho admitedly this time it isnt anything malicious or even generally negative.

I also gotta say that Betty (and id say John by extension) is very naive to think that war could in any way shape or form help with the issues John had had. Like he had trauma from his fathers abandonment and his mothers general treatment afterwards, had trauma from the disfunctional relationship the two had before Henry died/left, which all was underscored by deep-seated guilt that he let out as rage. Like all war would do is make it far far worse. It shows just how young Betty is truly and how she really hasn't lived through too much yet. And i said John too because Im fairly sure he also thought going to war would help in a similar manner.

I also headcanon that Betty was very inspired by Millie... but thats just me.

Carlos continues to be a dumb dumb about Anton... unsurprising, but omg.

I forgot the stone was carved from the Ursitoare's ribs... is it just me who though of the birth of Eve here??? Also yes, Il Soarta is def Italian I realize now. Do i question why an Italian cult was obsessed with Romanian myth.. absolutely not.

Im think that the 'most times not'part of what destiny the Gem shows u is due to essentially the stone acting as ... well... an eavesdropper. Literally. It was given to specific people to use by the Ursitoare as recompense for their worship - so good fate; but then as time went on it became a useful artifact for the benefit of Il Soarta so it became a way to eavesdrop on destiny so said destiny changed in them because that worship became.in name only. As mentioned, the Ursitoare arent patient and dont take well to being spurned or used in this case.

God the drip on the vamps, love them so much!

I would also argue that fate ultimately doesn't care about anyone if the whole universe is in jeopardy and uve a bigger destiny like John Winchester does.

I agree with Mary calling Millie here. Especially since she actually.knows what it's like to just ... lose someone like that. John does too, but he's also the one in the middle of it.

Ironic that Mary says "even if i have to kill every vampire in the tri-state area " ... a version of her actually does do that... for her kids. And simultaneously, its ironic also that another version of John will tell their kids that vampires are extinct (which could get them killed fyi).

Millie and Dean would be horrible together... all theyd do is work in the garage and shittalk research... and I kind love that for them.

I also like that Millie does in fact tell John bout Betty and also basically tells him.to not bullshit a bullshitter. This convo between Millie and John might be the 1st truly empathetic one we've had for them. Like yes, John's defenses go up instantly and he immediately assumes that Millie agrees with Betty and is judging him, but Millie, this time, doesnt do that. She just wants to check-in on how he's doing. And does so softly. And believes him more importantly.

And of course, back to the tried and true Winchester feelings avoidance after we've just had a helluva emotionally vulnerable talk.

I live for Carlos being disappointed in the vamps housing choices. I too would judge that. (So would Dean tbh)

Aaaaand Carlos once more gives us the biggest puzzle piece to where the vamps are.

While Lata is once more absolutely delighted by the magic lockpick like the wonderful nerd she is.

Millie to John "Dont do what u always do, not today" --> leads him directly to the room hes gonna die in. Irony at its finest.

A lot of irony in this episode, i realize now...

God I adore Carlos v vampires fight scene, its soo good. And its followed by the equally as fantastic Mary v vampires. Ahhh, I love them all so much.

Ppl really shouldn't fuck with Mary Campbell when shes pissed and worried.

I will miss the vamps tho... i really liked them :(

I like what this ep says about how dead mans blood works? It implies that vampires literally drain the life force through the blood because the dead mans blood only came into effect once John did actually die - a few moments after he got bit thus implying a certain supernatural link between the blood just ingested and John's lifeforce. I vibe with that.

Ah yes... the full context - still drives me.mad. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ROBBIE?! Especially with all the parallels TW has to SPN.

I appreciate the CPR not stopping until only after they think he really did die for good. U DONT stop CRP for dramatic pause ( advice to othee shows/movies or in ro aviz amatorilor)

I will say time and distance made this episode easier to watch for me. 15x20 had fucked me up before and made it very hard to watch without refering back to it. It has several parallels to Dean and dying specifically. The main one ofc being death adjacent to vampires. But it also has John killing himself for the sake of the hunt which sadly doesn't bode well either because it reminds me of a really bad couple of weeks back in 2017 when i had the realization that Dean has literally been shown as suicidal every single season (and i can name the ep, its so clear) and then Advanced Thanatology hit the Tv screens on nov 9th 2017... not a fun realization and def not a fun series of events afterwards. Sorry to bring this up here, but well... its relevant sadly.

Thankfully tho, this episode works well to deconstruct that and to subvert the spn finale by allowing John to live and to fully embrace his realtionship with Mary.

In other news, next ep will anger me a bit... for.multiple reason, some having already been discussed by people better equiped to talk about it then me. But rest assured, ive shit to say outside of that too, so see y'all for ep 10. Im aiming to have that up by the end of the week.
