RTC Headcanons for a cyclone-free AU except it’s a lot of projection

- Ricky had a warrior cats phase

- No elaboration

- The group learned a little Ukrainian for Mischa and learned ASL for Ricky

- Constance loves to crochet

- She makes gifts for EVERYONE

- Headbands for Ocean, sweaters for Ricky’s cats, a slip dress for Noel, etc etc

- They all joined the choir for different reasons

- For Ocean, it was her love of music and desire to get away from her parent

- For Mischa, it was escapism from his abusive adopted parents, but he just said singing helped his rap career

- For Constance, it was time away from her family and new friends

- For Noel, it was his love of songwriting and poetry. Choir was such an underrated art form and even though he pretended to hate some people in the choir, it was becoming his favorite thing a

- Nobody knows why Penny originally joined, but she’s one of the happiest ones there

Would you put your angst bowuigi fanfic as an ao3 book!? (I really hope you do!)

Uhhh which one? I have a bunch of concepts, even if i didn't share it here lol. What i am currently working on is my Evil Luigi idea. Not a full story because i cannot finish things but like establishing it so the idea is out of my head. However, since there IS a split "route" basically where Bowuigi happens and where not i will either go for Bowuigi completely or i will basically split the chapters from then on, one being the bowuigi route and one being the route where Bowser stays in an alliance with Peach. (if you curious, i did state my entire Evil Luigi concept before and messed around with it a bit and also made a small illustration). But yeah, that will definetly be very open ended.

As for my other concepts like the timeloop one, probably not? Again, i have trouble finishing things and i have motivation to actually write like once every 4+ months or so and i already have like 5 projects open. So if i can control myself i won't start anything else because it most likely won't be finished. Ever. That's why i share concepts in such detail and i also dont mind elaborating more things i imagined to it but never stated, so the idea is at least somewhat out. The Evil Luigi thing is just the exception because my friend and I mess around with him a lot and one day i was very motivated to write. (i am only 3 Paragraphs in please have mercy-)

As for my other concepts, you can do with them what you want, essentially. I'd love to see people liking my ideas so much they'd like to work with them as well. Half my headcanons or concepts i share are generally just a call-out to anyone talented or willing enough to actually draw or write something to it, no matter how silly it is. When someone made a shitpost based on my coupier Luigi post i was very happy. So yeah, if you like any of my ideas, use it! If you need any more background Info for it from me because you cant imagine a few things etc, feel free to ask!

TL;DR: No, i probably won't touch my Bowuigi concepts aside from shitposting or adding onto them when i have ideas. But you can use them however you'd like! Just tag me in them so i can see what you made!

So first of all I'm sure for neither of my worlds there will ever be an exhaustive list of factions. ('^.^) I often have too many ideas and never enough reservations about adding them lol. That being said there are a few in either world that I feel can adequately fulfil the need for any OCs' faction astrology assignment. (>v<)

Digitally Dead

The Association

To those outside of the Undercity, the Association might seem like a massive organized crime syndicate. And they'd be right! Despite that this group is an essential part of the concrete jungle's ecosystem. In large portions of the Undercity they provide a level of organization and order that simply wouldn't exist without otherwise. Most members join because they genuinely want to help their community... and get paid to do it. Widely the members care deeply about family, dedicated work, community, and their own brand of honor.

Chemical Phoenix

While a completely decentralized and often subject to infighting, this hacking group has a sort of shared subculture. In this community they earn their username, named based mostly off of insects and sometimes other animals, by literally stealing it from their predecessor through a mix of out competing them and dangerous battles over the dream-net. Members are among the most tech savvy, creative, and truly chaotic memesters around. Despite more or less being glorified shitposters most of the time, they genuinely appreciate dedication to their craft. Whether it be massive hacking operations to cripple shady corporations or elaborate pranks on the public.

[Note: In this world there is a big push for individuality, so don't feel restricted to these two. These just happen to be the two I had aesthetics vaguely set for lol]

Guildergate

Imperial Quester Guild

The Imperial Quester Guild was directly formed by the first Flonese Emperor Juno Ereuson after being inspired by the Farender traveler culture. This guild was created to raise and sponsor capable adventurer-warriors, known as Questers, to deal with any number of issues that may arise across the expansive empire. Especially along the Imperial frontiers where legions are more occupied with the protection of the loose borders around the Empire over other possible threats. This guild is somewhat decentralized into guild houses that take on local requests for dealing with any dangers, exploring, and any number of other 'quests'. The people who become Questers are typically adventurous and bold. They value experience and often take great joy in facing the unknown head on. They are usually easy to identify while between quests because they carry all of their equipment and supplies with them as they travel. This usually features a bag, bedroll, weapons, tools, and sometimes the odd souvenir from an adventure.

Goldport Merchant Guild

When the Flonese Empire began landing it's legions along the Tenebic coast, one of the first cities they arrived at was the mercantile City of Goldport. Instead of a violent conquering the city's reigning matriarch, Lady Anastasia Lucinda Trigg, managed to broker a deal. The city would join the Empire as an autonomous city-state and be allowed to continue it's trade without any imperial tariffs. From this deal the Goldport Merchant Guild was born. It's members are charismatic and cunning entrepreneurs. They always have an eye out for a good deal and take pride in forming extensive social networks even beyond the guild. They have a tendency to dress to their wealth and to make themselves more visible to potential business partners with colorful clothing and shinny jewelry.

Rift Association

The break up of the Naiad Empire was a messy affair. When the quest for immortality that the entire Empire was built around failed in spectacular fashion, even killing their Emperor in the process, it only took a matter of weeks for the entire Empire to crumble. Many Archons and petty warlords struggled for power over the fragments of the Empire rapidly eroding whatever sense of unity might've remained. Behind the scenes many of the Naiad scholars and mages widely began disappearing. These individuals went underground (literally and figuratively) to form the original members of the Rift Association, a somewhat secretive collection of intellectuals who still held onto the old quest of the Naiads. It's membership and goals diversified over time, but they still held onto it's magic and intellectual forward ethos. Members of the Rift Association are usually brilliant in their own way and more often than not a little... 'quirky'. They prize knowledge, wisdom, and out of the box approaches above all else.

okay no I know. let’s start with how everyone and their fatherfucking walrus is on there it’s like a goddamn cult. you are forced to feel the fomo when you don’t have an account because EVERYTHING happens on there but if you haven’t made one yet trust me do NOT do it. run while you still can. because the fomo of not being on shitstagram is only a sliver of the actual fomo you feel once you join the cult. it’s a neverending social hellscape that concentrates the worst most painful parts of the social experience unless you’re one of those super chill people with three super tight friends you’ve had for years and an even tighter rule of not letting anyone else on there it gets stressful as shit. and if you are I mean that’s great I’m glad that works for you but 1) im not sure how long that can last because you’re all not going to stay in one place your whole life and 2) as someone who’s been the new kid and not fit in anywhere my whole life I personally have always felt weird about hard defined groupism. and god instagram thrives on groupism.

people are fucking obsessed with taking pictures and posting them on instagram. whatever you do. and it’s the easiest way to get sucked into social pressure because however firm you are about your boundaries constantly seeing everyone else having fun without you does get to you. it’s like there’s almost no point doing things together unless you post about it at this point and I fucking hate it. the serotonin you get when someone tags you in a story or adds you on their close friends or whatever feels good yeah but it’s a TRAP. it’s like an MLM. you’re always going to exclude someone and be excluded and it becomes impossible not to start comparing and it honestly ruins normal fun experiences. one thing I’ve realized in college is parties are literally just for the taking pictures. I didn’t think I could hate parties more than I already did but I swear to god it’s a fucking curse. instagram fuels jealousy and insecurity like nothing else especially when you’re in a not very stable stage of life. I didn’t mind instagram as much in certain stages of high school because all my friends were losers (affectionate) like me and no one really posted about things like hangouts and we basically used it just to shitpost and like a sort of digital journal. in an environment like a new college where everything is slippery and undeveloped though it’s a breeding pool of insecurity and comparison.

and there’s the whole tagging culture and people will have these super exclusive private accounts and okay that's only the social aspect of instagram. it's very mentally exhausting when you don't have a clearly defined social circle - which like i said is pretty much impossible as a young adult unless you stay in one place for a long time and/or have a clique or something. instagram is inherently about social perception and projection and in my experience that's rarely a good thing because it isn't usually authentic. and it's coloured by what other people think in the worst way. especially when you're developing as a person and aren't 100% sure of who you are. you lose track of when you stop doing it for yourself. this is not even a third of my issues with it we need to get a speed on lol

I'm not going to get started on the reels and kind of content they have on there and shit because that is just going to become another uncontrollable rant lol. suffice to say it's an echo chamber of the same algo driven shit that literally warps your sense of reality and what is normal and it's not an easy perform to curate. it's essentially just the worst parts of whatsapp and tiktok lol. it literally rots your brain and it sucks that people predominantly use it to stay connected because whatsapp is better for that imo. the content is exponentially better and more diverse on youtube it's just. not worth it in any sense tbh

okay. so. somebody told me to elaborate on this post i made here

and since im absolutely insane, that's exactly what i did.

so without further ado, here are all my current ideas for my shitpost tma highschool au.

Jonathan Sims- just your average, mundane and boring highschooler like literally every protagonist in this setting ever.

Martin Blackwood- generic best friend turned love interest character, thats literally all i’ve got for him. (aka jonmartin WILL be real in 5, 4,)

Timothy Stoker- also generic best friend, very laid back, probably a skater boy, also on the football team because jock archetype

Sasha James- She exists alright. (timsasha WILL be real in 5, 4).

Not!Sasha- just another student named Sasha who everyone confuses with the actual Sasha all the time

Elias Bouchard- generic highschool asshole because of course he is. owns a pet cat named Peter.

Melanie King- president of the ‘ghost club’. there are no ghosts, the club just fucks around after school for an hour.

Mike Crew- emo kid who is literally only ever seen on the rooftop or in the trees outside the school. how has he not been expelled yet.

Gerard Keay- also emo. literally just vibes wherever. probably listening to mcr.

Michael "Distortion" (Shelley is his *real* last name)- founder of a miniature cult. he also found a secret trapdoor in the school library and he now just drags his friends there every lunchtime to smoke mad amounts of weed. probably a frat boy.

Helen Richardson- Michael Distortion’s best friend. also smokes mad weed.

Jared Hopworth- homophobic football team captain

Jurgen Leitner- stupid fucking nerd who essentially lives in the library. nobody likes him.

Peter Lukas- Elias’ ex-boyfriend. semi-popular but he acts like he has literally no friends like a fucking loser. has a pet cat named Elias.

Simon Fairchild- terrible psychology professor but everyone thinks he’s cool since he’s essentially an old man frat boy. vibes on the rooftops with Mike a lot.

Alice “Daisy” Tonner- a jock/athlete girl who lives a secret second life as a furry.

Jane Prentiss- goth girl who is overly into biology. has been observed to eat bugs before.

Nikola Orsinov- sinister theater kid. thats it.

Oliver Banks- yet another emo. hangs with other emos in their natural habitat.

Agnes Montague- generic hot girl. badum tssh.

Thoughts & Opinions on episode 122?

episode 122 came into my house, took all of my bread, and desiccated my crops ,,, what the fuck, like 50 separate things happened and all of them reveal some new shitshow that’s been happening behind the scenes

i’m gonna go over some of the bigger points & my theories around them under the cut

don appeared in the medieval times

okay so there’s two possible ways to see this event: don appeared in tori’s era before he was imprisoned by the shadows, or he manifested there somehow after he was trapped in the ROS.

-> if this happened before his imprisonment, then i think don had started travelling around time to help others with his abilities after attempting to save his family from the anomalies, and gradually grew more corrupt as he tested the limits of his powers, or started losing his mind as things he did in the past started having butterfly-effect style impacts on the future that he had to try and fix over and over.

this could possibly mean that don started a paradox where he himself introduced anomalies to the world by meddling in the past, which amplified the number of anomalies in the present and ultimately looped back to giving him his abilities and killing his family in his original time, though it does still leave a blank as to what exactly started this real-world cycle of anomalies in the first place (who pulled that ‘thread in the fabric of time and space’ don mentioned? how does he even know what happened?).

anyways, don’s interference grew to a point where it had become dangerous to the fabric of reality, so the shadows imprisoned him in a realm beyond time and space, the room of swords, to contain his abilities (perhaps reducing his ability to rewrite reality to be limited to changing one day’s events) or maybe punish him, with the knowledge that by trying to help others, he’d doomed them to becoming anomalies and being imprisoned themselves.

things that point to don being in tori’s era before he got yoinked to space jail: in the flashback where he tries to save his family, he has a mustache (bigger than his current one), and he could have grown that out into a beard as he travelled. he looks pretty damn evil in tori’s memory so maybe at this point he’s pretty much lost it, and he has a full beard, similar to how it looked when he was first shown in the room of swords during the season 1 finale, so maybe this is just about when the shadows took notice and imprisoned him.

-> if this happened after his imprisonment, unlike the above where we can probably assume he started jumping around time soon after he tried to save his family (if he succeeded maybe he felt that he could help others too, if he failed maybe the guilt drove him to try and save others from the same fate), it’s harder to pinpoint when he might’ve manifested into tori’s time.

if we go off of the theory that the ros exists in cycles, repeating its objective with the same (or new) voyagers each time, and the constants are don, the black box holder(gyrus) and the shadows, it’s likely that don somehow got out of the room of swords in an earlier cycle. he used his powers to manipulate reality in tori’s time, and this resulted in her gaining her own abilities as an anomaly, sending her to the room of swords.

maybe don was trapped in the ros for trying to rewrite reality to save his family and was imprisoned by the shadows. thinking this was unfair, he tried to escape, but failed. he then realized that maybe he couldn’t break out, but somehow (i can’t guess what method he managed to use ghfdsjfj), he could still affect the outside world. he started out by wanting to help people and protect them from the anomalies that happened in their era, but this resulted in the people he helped becoming anomalies and they would get trapped in the room of swords as well, both because of their abilities and to remind don to Stop Doing That. this eventually resulted with don slowly losing his mind and morals, hence why he began as such a warm, friendly person, but later showed himself to be so determined to escape the room of swords that he’s willing to kill nephthys and poison hinju.

things that point to don being in tori’s time after he got yoinked to space jail: his harmonica. in the episodes that show events taking place before the main timeline, and most notably in the flashback where don explains how his family died, he’s always shown using a guitar to channel his powers. he’s only started using the harmonica to try and kill nephthys, and only in recent episodes, in the present timeline. maybe the harmonica is an item he found that can channel less power than the guitar, which makes it weaker but much more discreet so that other ‘meta’ beings (shadows and maybe gyrus) don’t notice him slipping out of the ros or using it to switch boss swords with fakes, murder people, etc, and he keeps the harmonica secret and only uses it when he’s doing shady shit.

i’m going to elaborate on this point later but like what the absolute shit happened there

gyrus is possibly queen amelia’s son (or at least, her descendant)

so like. hi this entire plot point drove the discord nuts

first off, like,,,, gyrus is descended from (presumably) european royalty? i know that toon stated that gyrus was of korean descent and he’s shown to be able to speak in korean but i mean it’s also possible that the foreign king that queen amelia married, was from east asia, and their marriage was entirely out of necessity to lift the curse on her kingdom. the king dipped tf out after the ceremony to rule his own lands.

don took the baby (assuming the baby is gyrus) to gyrus’ era, and this displacement amplified a chain of anomalies that began to deteriorate reality, leading to the world don describes as gyrus’ in episode 109 (’catastrophic anomalies are commonplace’ ‘whole worlds destroyed without warning’). in addition, don notes in the same episode that gyrus had ‘kind relatives that [took him] in and [gave him] a life of comfort’, which means that either his parents died on his home planet, or he’d never known his parents-- which would be the case if he was a baby don sTOLE FROM ANOTHER ERA.

alternatively, the baby isn’t gyrus, but rather they were gyrus’ ancestor, who don brought to a time before gyrus’ era. that displacement started creating disastrous anomalies. gyrus’ parents died on his home planet and his relatives took him in, as per don’s words. gyrus leaves home to become an astronaut and joins captain iro’s crew. bing bang boom

what the hell even is this. people on the discord have theorized that this is the origin of gyrus’ inner shadow or his black box, but. how did don. get a shadow. in a bottle. as far as i know, he’s unable to influence shadows directly so he can’t sing ‘get in the bottle or else with this shoe i will throttle [you]’, but also the shadows are his jailors, why would a) don help them by giving them a host or b) the shadows help him by complying. do they both think they’re being slick and using the other gfhdjgfdhgh

and if it’s the black box, how did don bottle it. why didn’t he just take it. what is going on.

either way this might be another paradox situation where don found out the origin of gyrus’ shadow abilities/black box/event horizon breaking point and realized he had to take part in getting events to line up so this could happen. so he essentially manipulated reality to ensure that he could get a powerful ally that would hold the black box and defend it from the shadows, and who would be the second constant to appear in the ros (and first voyager), so don could try again and again to gain his trust and get a pawn for his plan against the shadows.

trouble in paradise the black box

ok rip to black box gyrus i really liked him as a character and as a design and he was fun to shitpost about but there’s no goddamn way he’s going to survive this season. he’s been weakened from losing memories and control over the black box, and i’m pretty sure the shadow dragged him off to kill him. plus kodya being yanked back to the black box and the shadows of the people lost during the incident being released means that black box gyrus has either died or lost the command room/a significant amount of control.

and even if it wasn’t for the fact that the situation is pretty much spelling out black box gyrus is doomed, his plot relevance is also wearing out. it’s the same ‘pupil must outgrow their mentor so the mentor dies’ that happened with kodya but this time black box gyrus genuinely has no more purpose to serve after this arc.

like,,, kodya has plot threads (like nephthys and his own backstory) that exist outside of gyrus. black box gyrus does not exist separately from gyrus. anything he can offer to his reset self, can be found in the black box’s memories once he’s done training him, and they’ve unlocked all the beacon memories. just about the last thing bb!gyrus needs to do is reconcile with kodya and relinquish the black box to gyrus, and then all his story points are technically over. that doesn’t mean i don’t want him to stick around, he’s a well-written character and i am bonkers for his stupid emo outfit, but i don’t know why toon would keep him around after setting up all of the shadow-taking-control-of-the-black-box business and bringing current gyrus to this point in the story.

y’all i know this is irrelevant and i’m just going 👁👁 because it’s cib but it’s CIB and i’m hoping this means that she’ll become a more recurring background character, in shadow form or in flashbacks, since she seems to be really important to ragan and she’s the second voyager. and maybe there’ll be a way to save people from shadow death without gyrus losing all his limbs. god i hope

I was thinking about if one of those deadly virus/99.9% mortality rate apocalyptic type thangs went down and there was no electricity or internet or anything and the survivors started recreating iconic memes via sketching and painting and shite for their kids who'd never known a world with the internet, and generations later, there are huge ancient books filled with the most intricately illustrated memes on fading pages, and elaborate footnotes explaining who the people in the reaction images were and the famous television shows of the time, and there would be books of parables and wisdom but it's just vaguely existential largely contextless shitposts, and because people would be living in smaller self sufficient settlements, ancient global politics would be more of a quirky interest rather than essential teaching, so history lessons would just be a mish mash of some presidents and wars and global warming but also celebrities and the rise of social media and online shopping and how the post worked, and grandparents would be telling the kids storytales by the fire but it's really just like a rough version of Riverdale they heard from their grandparents... man what a world

I created a studyblr over the summer and was really excited to do well in my first year of college, but now that I'm actually in school I have no motivation to do my work anymore and it's preventing me from actually posting anything. Do you have any advice on how to get more motivated?

hello anon and welcome to studyblr! hmm how to get more motivated in what respect? posting on studyblr or doing work? or just motivation in general... either way i’ll try to address everything in the context of studying

gaining and maintaining motivation

motivation is extremely hard to maintain and is not lasting, that being said, i won’t be quick to recommend disciplining yourself because even that is harder if ‘re struggling to find motivation in the first place. however, you can make small changes that can contribute to better discipline and work ethic! these are just some little tips to make you motivated and hopefully improve your work ethic~

motivation

find something new and interesting to be excited about in your work - honestly, sometimes studying can be dreadful but if you try and find something to be excited then you’ll be much more eager to learn! finding joy in the little things will help you immensely. whether that be being excited at the thought of learning a new formula, teaching your stuffed animal a new concept, playing with new stationery or reading a new poem for class, looking forward to something will keep you on your toes. learning is exciting!

set goals for yourself - these will help in keeping you accountable and having something to work towards. they don’t have to be straight-forward but they do have to be achieveable, manageable, specific and realistic (i can elaborate more on this / goal setting in general if you’d like). along with your goal add the reason why you want to achieve it to increase the likelihood of you actually doing it.

Goal:

What: Finish The Picture of Dorian Gray by the end of the month

When: in two weeks

How: by reading # of chapters / # of minutes daily

Why: So I can fangirl to my friend about it and finally understand all the shitposts I see on my dashboard

try to find a study buddy or someone to hold you accountable - learning with someone makes the entire experience more fun!! so, if you can, befriend someone in your class or even find someone online to study with. even if you don’t share the same classes / course, you’ll still be able to talk with each other about your achievements, struggles, tips, advices, materials and resources~ this also applies with making studyblr friends!

share to others - relating back to the previous point, express your achievements and struggles to others / someone. the studyblr is a welcoming and inviting community that will readily aid you in anyway shape or form. especially at times of great academic success and hardship.

reward yourself - after finally accomplishing your goals treat yourself to something nice! i like to just lie on my bed , eat some snacks or watch films

discipline

sometimes we have days where we just don’t want to do anything. on those days here are some of my tips:

set three achievable tasks, daily - to do lists can bog you down. by setting three achieveable tasks a day it gives you an idea of what tasks are the most important and allows you to make a dent in your list.

track your progress - i like to do this by posting daily accomplishments or writing on my desktop’s post-it notes with the tasks i completed that day. this helps with visualising what you’ve accomplished

something is better than nothing - whether it be 5 hours or 5mins, any achievement contributes to something in the long run. we can’t always operate with high energy but as long as we do something we’ll get there in the end

an object in motion stays in motion - favourite saying to motivate me now (thx physics). essentially, once you get going, you get going.

studyblr

admittedly, i don’t frequently post original content, let alone studyblr content, but i am working on it. here’s some advice and things i also hope to do when posting original content:

make posts in batches - i usually like to take photos in large batches so i don’t have to consecutively shoot, edit and post onto my acc. however, lately i haven’t had the time or resources to just sit down and take said pics so i definitely recommend finding time to do so.

queued posts are your best friend - once you shot your batches start drafting and queuing posts up so you don’t have to post them yourself at a given time

not all posts have to be a e s t h e t i c pics - there are other forms of original contents like masterposts, “journal entries” or daily accomplishments. i like to do the latter two when i don’t have any pics taken so peole know i’m alive and studying haha

queue is your best friend - again, queueing photos (usually reblogs) is such a lifesaver when you go through periods of inactivity. some days i’m on tumblr longer than usual and my queued posts can reach up to 100. i usually posts / set the queue “timer” to 5 pics daily during peak hours on tumblr.

all in all, finding motivation and maintaining it is hella difficult but when mixed with discipline you can achieve anything, as long as you do something. goodluck and wishing you all the best! if you think i haven’t answered your question or would like to further talk my inbox + dms are always open 💞💗
