Gah see the one thing I can't do with the EDAs, and it drives me up the wall nuts, no matter how much I do agree that they are meant to be books and that's the point of them, that they only metatextually and even thematically work as books, and obscure forgotten books at that - the one thing is, I can't make vids. Gifsets either. God, you have no idea how much I wish I could vid this series.

So many things, so many astonishing visuals and cinematic parallels, so much I want to string together in a coherent form and I can't, I just can't. Like, the actual factual thing that caused me to fucking Mandela-effect myself into misremembering the series as a 90s tv show in the first place was imagining a fanvid about Fitz's fashion sense set to Macklemore's Thriftshop, of all fucking things, BUT. While yes, obviously that would be a work of unrivaled genius, it's not just that. Over the years it's become this endless want, this constantly seeing gifsets and screencaps and vids, vids, above all else, vids, of all the different moments there are.

There is (of-fucking-course) a blog (at least one, but maybe many more) dedicated exclusively to making gifsets of every time destiel touch each other in all contexts. Of fucking course there is. I scream with envy over this because like. That could be us, if only the EDAs had any footage at all, but it's a goddamn (brilliant, daft, exceedingly stupid) BOOK SERIES instead. Every time Eight/Fitz touch? Fitz is in fifty books and they are both extremely touchy; you could absolutely dedicate an entire fucking tumblr blog to making a gifset of each of those moments; you'd be making gifs for fucking years.

I want to bestow upon them the highest honor I could give: a fanvid about their insane nutso relationship set to Vienna Teng's Never Look Away. I want a Sam vid set to Marina's Oh No! I want an Eight vid to the Indigo Girls' Galileo. I can see all these so so clearly and I want to share them with the world. I want a gifset of thematic uses of the color red in Sam's early books episodes books. I want to hear Sail on Sailor and know how the fuck the diagetically composed Dr Who theme would actually sound on violin or acoustic guitar, with its unspeakably tender lyrics. I want someone's painstakingly color-corrected, digitally restored, hi-res slo-mo shot of Fitz in his princess fairy tale wedding dress flying around on a jetpack.

Like they are books and they're supposed to be books and it's significant to what the silly things are trying to say, and also quite frankly there is no way in hell any doctor who ever, even now, could pull off even half the shit they got away with via the infinite budget of the page, and they certainly could not have made say, YIT in the 90s and have it look anything but silly and cheap when it needed to look real, BUT. I wish I could see it. I wish I could make the vids I see playing in my head when I reread these silly, edgy, annoyingly smug, painfully earnest, wildly creative and visually stunning FUCKING books.

do you think Dean has survivor's guilt? I'm thinking mostly of 01×12, but I'm also wondering if there's a running theme there that I don't remember

Yes, I do. In fact, I think Dean blaming himself for the outcome of traumatic experiences he couldn't have changed or that aren't his fault is something that happens very frequently, because Dean has a very overactive sense of responsibility—primarily resulting from his parentification (and the people in his life don't always help—sometimes they do, but they also sometimes feed into it).

1.12 "Faith" sets the stage for the entire theme. Dean struggles to deal with Layla not being healed when he is, and how horrible it is that a man died in exchange for his life. At the end of the episode, Dean stops running from the reaper, planning to let it kill him so Layla can be healed, but it doesn't happen because Sam disrupts the ritual before Sue Ann can complete it. (Kya has a great gifset here). What tends to co-occur with Dean struggling with survivor's guilt is the idea that Dean has a job—a responsibility, even—to the rest of the world. This is both why he must survive, and also something that weighs him down with even more guilt in a vicious cycle.

DEAN Why? Why me? Out of all the sick people, why save me? ROY Well, like I said before, the Lord guides me. I looked into your heart, and you just stood out from all the rest. DEAN What did you see in my heart? ROY A young man with an important purpose. A job to do. And it isn't finished.

I've written about Dean's survivor's guilt in the context of season 2—how 1.12 and John's sacrifice in 2.01 are primary motivations for Dean making the demon deal in 2.22. We get dialogue from Dean in 2.04 actually apologizing to Sam for John's death, because he blames himself even though it wasn't his fault and none of this was his choice.

He also blames himself for Sam's death in 2.22, even though that also isn't his fault. The parentification aspect of all of this is screaming loud in the following dialogue from Dean in 2.22:

You know, when we were little— and you couldn't been more than 5— you just started asking questions. How come we didn't have a mom? Why do we always have to move around? Where'd Dad go when he'd take off for days at a time? I remember I begged you, "Quit asking, Sammy. Man, you don't want to know." I just wanted you to be a kid... Just for a little while longer. I always tried to protect you... Keep you safe... Dad didn't even have to tell me. It was just always my responsibility, you know? It's like I had one job... I had one job... And I screwed it up. I blew it. And for that, I'm sorry. I guess that's what I do. I let down the people I love. I let Dad down. And now I guess I'm just supposed to let you down, too. How can I? How am I supposed to live with that?

Dean even as a child felt responsible for Sam, and even for John. We see John blame Dean for his own failures as a father in episodes like 1.18 "Something Wicked" and 1.21 "Salvation", and we see the impact of that tendency reflected in how Sam sometimes treats Dean as well. Hell—we have indication that even before Mary died, Dean was "cleaning up [John's] messes" according to Sam (5.16). We see John apologize for Dean having to take care of him in 2.01 instead of the other way around—an acknowledgement that he knows this has been a source of harm to Dean for a long time... but it's too little too late—and ultimately is ruined by John's next actions, leaving Dean seething with resentment toward John for seasons to come even as he grieves and blames himself for John's death.

Dean's guilt for things that aren't his fault is further explored in episodes like 1.18 "Something Wicked", 5.11 "Sam, Interrupted" and 7.04 "Defending Your Life", where Dean is confronted by his guilt over Jo's death, and feeling responsible for Sam being a hunter, which is absolute horse shit despite the fandom also trying to insist this is the case frequently (see my tags #sam the hunter for a start). He blames himself for Kevin even getting involved with hunting to begin with. Dean blames himself for the havoc Michael is wreaking (14.03, 14.06, 14.14). Dean also blames himself and feels horrible guilt for torturing souls in hell, despite the fact that this happened under extreme duress and literal decades of torture and psychological conditioning—i.e., Dean had no actual choice—he's just presented with the horror of being made to feel that it was his choice when it was deeply and torturously coerced. The very worst part of Hell for him was that he tortured other souls, and I don't think he ever recovers from the guilt of that. He clams up about it after being called weak and pathetic for being guilty about it and then he never speaks about it ever again.

Dean certainly isn't the only one with these issues. Sam, Dean, and Bobby's survivors guilt is all explored simultaneously in 4.02 "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean Winchester" when people they couldn't save like Meg Masters and Victor are brought back by a curse.

DEAN It's my fault you're dead. I left you [Victor] behind. And the minute I heard about that explosion, I thought, "I should have known." I should have protected you.

This whole episode implicates hunters as a whole with serious survivor's guilt for the people they can't/don't manage to save. Multiple hunters die in the beginning of the episode, killed by the people they're haunted by not saving. This is a natural and understandable result of the work itself. You just barely don't get to someone in time, or you make a choice with an outcome you didn't forsee at the time, or you weren't fast enough or strong enough, or you dodged left when you should have dodged right, or you should have stayed, or you "let" the monster get away and it killed again. You are in a line of work where you are probably always left thinking, "If only I had done [insert hindsight judgement here]". Bobby blames himself for the deaths of two kids in 4.02. He blames himself for his wife Karen's death (3.10). Sam blames himself for Ava (2.11) and they all accept blame for the Devil's Gate even though that wasn't their fault either (and other hunters throw the blame on all of them too) (3.01).

The thing about being a parentified child is that you are, by definition, held responsible for things you are not equipped or qualified to handle—things that are too much for you, that are not actually your responsibility, and that are/were entirely out of your control. Combine growing up being blamed for things you did not actually have the power or authority to make happen or prevent from happening, with the overall tendency within the line of work hunters are in to feel survivor's guilt, and you get Dean. Add in that Dean cares deeply for other people—even strangers—and therefore feels an extra empathy when people are harmed for these things he thinks he could have prevented. You get someone whose moments of suicidal ideation are usually deeply connected to survivor's guilt or guilt more generally.

these are all from projects that i have in a folder titled "on the bench" that i want to pretend i'll come back to, but.... some of these have been benched for so long and they're no longer fresh in my head so i fear they'll be abandoned forever. should also be mentioned that a lot of projects on the bench are literally just me making all the typography first and then losing inspo when i actually wanted to gif things.... usually by the time i do start, i change my mind about the type anyway. i also have so many abandoned gifs from other gifsets i've already posted but i'm not even sure where to begin searching so... here are some things!

one of the many gifs i already created for a prompt from @yellowjacketsoctober to put the show in a different genre. ironically, a prompt that i came up with for the event specifically to make this gifset but didn't even complete. i spent so many hours and so many days trying to gif this entire arc for these three with the intent to make it a heist drama set but after so long i realized i was just giffing exactly what happened in the show and it started to feel pointless. but at least here's a preview of something that i'll never finish. my trio of all time, can they commit more crimes together please! (should also be said that this folder is 44gb because i already saved all the caps + because these psds are so heavy... new years clean up for real)

i don't know what it is about lydia that makes it so hard for me to finish any set for her, but every time i try i seem to always lose the drive eventually (probably because twd in general just feels really uninteresting for me to blend, for some reason). from a 2022 spotify wrapped meme, i'm pretty sure i restarted this specific gifset so many different times, unhappy with the colors and the blends and the text and everything -- which is why there are two very different examples here. my girl of all time though i will finish something for her eventually (and maybe even this one, because this song is still so good for her).

one of the many gifs that were abandoned by my scream vi set for favorite slasher in october. when tumblr first changed the image upload limit to 30, i promised myself to never take advantage of that too much, but i severely underestimated how many moments i would want to include for this movie and i made so many other gifs for this set but ultimately cut them so i could try to tone it down - 18 gifs in this set still feels like a lot but i spent so much time on this set that it was hard to part with many more. anyway here's sam being the hottest final girl in the world and correct about everything.

i don't know how long this has been on the bench but it was definitely a project i started way before season 2 even aired. i think i just got stuck and wasn't sure where to go with it, but anyway her!

extra spoiler for @wyllhalsin but this was supposed to be a pride edit in june for one of my favorite lgbt characters of all time. this show's camera movements nearly makes it impossible to blend anything so i lost the drive, but i will come back for felix someday (and for coty, obviously this set was for him).

i'll start this with the caveat that my watching of campaign 3 is very tangential, largely through just seeing live blogs/tweets, gifsets, clips, etc. because i want to finish vox machina before jumping fully into bells hells. but i've still consumed a lot of it, especially post-laudna coming back (including full episdoes). and i just find it really interesting that the thing that seems to frustrate a lot of people about this campaign is exactly why i love it so much. i love that the bells are terrified and isolated from each other and so distrusting and that they feel like side characters being forced to save the world. i think it's a really nice change of pace after vox machina and mighty nein, two groups that mostly worked so cohesively and (especially with vm) were so clearly the main characters who were made to save the world. i love how much the bells have to scramble and how much they have to lose. also i just kinda fundamentally disagree that we haven't gotten enough time with the characters outside of Big Plot Things. firstly, a lot of those plot things are important for the characters and do inform a lot about them. but also, the entire first arc is pretty similar to c2 in that it's just them fucking around and getting to know each other. and there have been so many episodes and extended scenes since which have been so focused on the characters as opposed to the plot. i think it just doesn't feel that way because the bells are way worse at properly opening up to and trusting each other, which means they tend to go in circles.

iit's fine to not like campaign 3, this is just me talking about why i do like it, but i do think it's genuinely very dumb the amount of people i see who treat the players like they're stupid. watch some fucking 4 sided dive because they aren't making these frustrating choices accidentally. if i have to see one more person imply (or even outright state) that the players are just playing badly without any awareness that what they're doing will have consequences, i'll scream. don't think i've forgotten how you all treated laura like she was stupid during that big otohan fight or taliesin like he was ruining the whole game and their friendship with the shard.

the nice thing about posts from last august being circulated is that I get to inflict my thoughts onto a whole new group of people <3

so i'm pretty sure what I was referring to was this post (which later became this fantastic gifset)

basically that pete and vegas's main interactions started with pete being ordered to follow vegas, which then becomes pete following vegas again and again of his own volition, using his own agency, making his own choice. eventually leading him to the poolside.

it makes vegas asking "why did you follow me?" so much more loaded. because, from the second he hears pete's voice vegas knows he isn't going to shoot. that's why he screams like he does, his release, his escape has been taken from him because he knows he won't leave pete behind if pete asks him to stay.

so "why did you follow me" means why did he follow him to the pool when he could have let him shoot himself instead. but it also means why did he follow him back into the safehouse when he could have ran and vegas would have let him. it means why why did it have to be pete sent to follow him in the first place. why, in the great, cosmic scheme of things, was it pete sent to spy on him and set off this chain of events that led to him finding the only person who could crack him open and leave him vulnerable and bruised but seen and whole, the only person he could love like this, the only person that could make him stay.

why would pete take the agency that's been denied to him his entire life and use it to continue following vegas. why would he continue to choose him, one of the people that took his choices away from him?

eventually he gets the answer. as pete figures it out, from "I don't even know" in the safehouse to "because i'm hungry" by the pool and finally "I just want to follow my heart" in the hospital.

when pete chases him down to the pool it is not as a main family bodyguard following orders and not as a prisoner making dubious decisions. he's just pete. who wants and needs to save his heart.

favorite character(s) pat !! he's one of my favourite characters from any media ever. I just love how selfless he is and how he transforms through the show, and how bright he is but knows when to stand his ground. i could wax poetics about him fr <3

favorite episode(s) Whenever i watch/rewatch bad buddy i tend to binge it so i can never distinguish betweens episodes lol. In general, ep 12 is definitely one of my favs because i feel like it ties things up nicely and i like seeing them happy :) i can probably give a better answer for favourite scene...

favorite scene(s) ...which is why it's great that this is the next question!

In no particular order: the staircase proposal scene, the bus stop roleplaying scene, the post-curtain bench hand holding scene (specifically that one face pat/ohm makes which imo is the single most most heartbreaking frame in the entire show), the ep 12 post-credits scene (wait was it actually post-credits, i don't remember ajksdjf), the screaming on the rocks at the zero-waste village scene, and the rooftop kiss (ofc)

Basically i just like to see them happy (most of the time) :)

one thing you would change about the show if you could the whole making-it-up-to-wai arc was not it for me. WHY was pran the one apologising and going after him??? still makes me mad to this day, but i think i'd have a lot more animosity towards wai if ep 12 didn't exist (also all the wai redemption arcs in fanfics have made me warm up to him :P)

what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people? ahhh so many!! joy of stanning a show that's finished is that it stays going through fanworks, but also now there's too many that i absolutely adore to remember in the moment, sp here's some:

Okay, I can’t take it any more, I give in. Please explain Guardian to me. I’ve tried looking at the Wikipedia page but it provided no answers. All I can tell is that there are these two guys, and one is a police officer and the other a university professor but they’re both also magical immortals or something? And maybe one of them is the eponymous guardian of the other? If that’s the case, I totally can’t tell which is which. Please help, every day I see gifsets and each one leaves me more confused than the last. I thought The Untamed was bad, but this…

we're gonna need a readmore for this lol

guardian was based on a bl book and was obviously censored - i'll provide an explanation of the show rather than the book, but pls know the most significant censoring (other than the obvious) was the change of everything from ghosts, demons, etc to aliens

you get this big animated infodump at the beginning with no warning and it's glorious

for backstory, there's three races on haixing - the haixingians (effectively humans), the yashou (alien race #1, can transform into plants or animals depending on type [main animals are snakes and crows, with one noticeable exception in my beloved catboy da qing]), and the dixingren (alien race #2, can have basically any powers that you want for plot related purposes, have to remain underground due to a treaty that was written 10,000 years ago)

zhao yunlan (the one with the facial hair) is the chief of the special investigations division (sid), which is kinda like torchwood but less and also more competent? depends on how you look at it. he's the titular guardian, because he's in charge of keeping haixing safe by catching the dixing criminals who come to the surface (in the book he also gets a cool whip which is called the guardian order - at one point he mentions that when he was given it he thought he was gonna be the first male sailor moon, bless him). smart and smartass. likes being one step ahead of you without you knowing. permanently exasperated with existence. in absolute love with shen wei.

shen wei (the one with the eyes, you know the one) is hei pao shi, or the black cloaked envoy - he's the dixingian envoy also tasked with ensuring all dixingren who unlawfully cross into haixing are punished back in dixing. university professor who teaches biology. worst liar in the entire world. wears sleeve garters and an ass chain to kill me personally. absolutely devoted to zhao yunlan.

they will send you absolutely insane and you will thank them for it. they're on levels of eye contact never before seen. together they Are the gaslight/gatekeep/girlboss mansplain/manipulate/malewife couple of your dreams/nightmares.

shen wei has been around for the aforementioned 10,000 years - zhao yunlan is his own special case ;)

there are 7 members of the sid and they will all send you various levels of feral

da qing - aforementioned beloved cat boy. zhao yunlan's cat but also brother but also father but also son. best dynamic. they ran out of budget to be able to have him transform into his cat form like 5 episodes in (their budget got majorly cut partway through), so instead it's just a guy in overalls acting like a cat. i lvoe him.

zhu hong - a snake yashou. my absolute wife. has amazing fashion.

lin jing - resident scientist. stresses himself out a lot. makes me laugh. still stumble over saying jin ling when referring to him

wang zheng - ghost lady! she's very sweet. her backstory is wack lol

sang zan - ghost lady's ghost husband. part of the wack backstory. sid's illiterate librarian <3

xiao guo - baby boy. baby. the babiest of boys you will ever see. precious little beanpole. genuinely the sweetest character you'll ever see in your life. levels of earnestness you wouldn't expect someone to pull off, but he absolutely does.

chu shuzhi - dixingren. has magical strings and a magical puppet. you can pinpoint the moment he falls in love with xiao guo down to the millisecond, and i screamed when i watched it.

throughout the plot they're tasked with collecting the four hallows, holy tools that have a lot of power, because the resident Big Bad (and their minions) want them to take over the world and so on and so forth (they're fun and dumb)

this show will tear your heart out and you will thank it, and then you will rewatch it while sobbing the whole way through because gahhh!

Episode 5: The Scream-ening

This show continues to take some genre staples and just flip the bitch. I thought from the morning conversation with Porsche and Kinn that Porsche didn't remember anything (which, unfortunately, can be a side-effect of GHB) and I thought OH NO, not this again.

But no. Porsche remembers. He just doesn't know what do do with it. Kinn is treating him like before, maybe worse than before. Porsche is being punished by the bodyguards he's supposed to be in charge of. Kinn flaunts having a different lover right in front of Porsche, and flippantly makes clear to Porsche that whatever it is Porsche is doing with his time, it is of less than any concern to Kinn.

The only marks that Porsche bears from his time with Kinn are the marks of punishment, and his entire bearing, his entire demeanor, shows that he is struggling to find his footing in this space and failing.

Gone is the animated, over-exuberant man who flings himself around and happily inhabits the life of the party. His actions are tempered, small. His face is a mask, his eyes are downcast. When he interacts with Kinn he tends to hunch, to turn aside, to turn the volume down from 10 to barely heard. Even when directly confronting Kinn it's worn down.

Even then, from Kinn's perspective, it's clear that Porsche takes up all the air in the room. When Porsche tells him if Kinn can do whatever he wants, then do it, Kinn physically sways into Porsche like he can't help it. Now, whether Kinn is not allowing himself to name what he feels for Porsche because a) whatever in the past that happened throws a pall over it or b) he literally is just not allowing himself for personal reasons, it's still the same outcome - Kinn will not let himself admit that Porsche is different to him. Despite how his actions are screaming out those differences.

I think, when he got the advice from Pete on how to talk to Porsche, Kinn was honestly just thinking "how to get through to my most dumbass body guard, excellent" and nothing more. And he's clearly super, super bad at the execution. Though it does give Mile the opportunity to show off how he normally handles himself vocally (soft but assured and pointed) versus how Porsche ends up twisting him up (frustrated, snappish, verging on loud).

Also, I mentioned this in one of my gifset tag explosions but: the tryptich scene, where they showed both Porsche and Kinn attempting a casual hookup while BOTH of them were thinking of the episode 4 hookup, and thus neither one of them could get very far because it did not live up to the memory of their time together: chef's kiss. I was screaming into my hands about that.

Anyway, I love the range here of both characters. Porsche withdrawing, trying to find some way to connect to Kinn, and withdrawing even further when those efforts are rebuffed. Kinn trying to find his equilibrium by falling into business as usual and trying to keep his father's good opinion, and still finding no solace, and finding himself in the position of trying to connect with someone on their terms instead of his. Just a REALLY great character study here, especially when neither of them is admitting to their true turmoil out loud.

Mile and Apo just buried everyone with how well they did with these complex emotional interplays and how well acted they were. I am just over the moon about how well they complement each other.

ALSO ALSO. That chase/fight scene. Glad the budget was there for this one, it was so good. I love me some drift compatible battle couples. Seriously my first post on tumblr after I decided to start using it in 2012 was a battle couple post don't @ me.

I believe in the power of being handcuffed together to force people to face their feelings.

(Plus I am waiting for Porchay to wreck Kim's everything by being the sunshiniest cinnamon roll ever and giving him all the feelings. I'll wait.)

Hi again! I'm the anon who was screaming last week about Gabriel to you. I saw the gifset you reblogged with Carlos talking to Trudie and it's making me think it would be even more unnecessary to kill Gabriel. If they wanted to bring grief into the wedding, they could have just worked the plot around TK missing Gwyn.....the parent that is already dead. Given Carlos has said she'll be at the wedding in spirit, they could throw back to that so easily. It would have everyone crying! Killing Gabriel for the sake of making the audience shed tears (as if the wedding itself wouldn't do that no matter what!!!) when they could center it around TK's already present grief, is too much. I'd actually feel bad the focus of grief wouldn't be around TK and Gwyn. Idk I hope the Gabriel theory is incorrect even though it's gained traction these past days and maybe the lack of Benito means nothing.

Hey! Welcome back again. I agree with you entirely. It would be remiss, I think, to do this. I like the idea of TK having a moment to reflect on Gwyn at/around the wedding. Killing Gabriel would potentially overshadow it greatly, because it would be such a fresh wound.

Having said the above....I'm now 100% sure Gabriel is going to die, so I can't offer reassurance I'm afraid! I'm fully on that runaway train with you and everyone else who is solid on this.

I'm calling it: He'll either die at the end of episode 16 or very early in episode 17, and that is what the 'not cute' Tarlos wake up scene will be about.

I don't like it. There is so much more they could do with Gabriel and Carlos by keeping Gabriel in the show for longer. It's such a unique father-son relationship being depicted on TV, and it would be real a pity to lose it for the sake of extra drama and a few extra tears at the wedding, when there is already plenty going on.

I want to be wrong.

Although, as Lisa was in LA, if they did a surprise Star Wars type few seconds where the spirits of Gwyn and Gabriel were sitting at the back of the wedding party, and they just stare quietly and smile and nod and then walk away together...I wouldn’t hate that, in context.

A/N | I got an idea from that gifset, and then when I started writing, all this came out, and I wrote more than I have in a WHILE. I got super jazzed about this idea, and am going to keep writing oneshots & such within this little universe I created. Hope someone out there digs this too, or I’ll just crawl back into my dumpster fire of a brain.

Summary | To protect Dean, you take on the Mark of Cain, much to Dean’s dismay.

You followed Dean into the war room, both of you quiet after the events of the last couple days. You were still trying to come to terms with it yourself - the Mark of Cain was now seared into your forearm. You weren’t sure where Sam was at that moment, or what he would think when he found out, but Dean? You know exactly how Dean felt, silently seething the entire drive home. You knew he was trying to calm down lest he really lose it, but you honestly weren’t quite ready for this conversation yet.

You followed him to your shared room, stopping in the doorway as he sat heavily on the bed, letting his head fall into his hands.

“I’m going to take a shower, and then you can let me have it,” you whispered. He raised his head, holding his hands as if in prayer, resting his chin on his thumbs, staring straight ahead. You figured you would be getting much more of a response, and left for the privacy of the shower.

Turning the knob to start running the hottest water you could handle, you stripped, consciously avoiding looking at the Mark as you stepped into the spray. You tried to concentrate on the droplets raining down on you, but it couldn’t erase the memory from your mind, starting with the disbelief on Dean’s face when he saw you finally stepped out from your hiding spot on the other side of the wall.

“Y/N? What are you…?”

“Crowley,” you interrupted.

“Y/N, I was wondering when you’d turn up. Heard you two never travel alone,” Cain pointed between you and Dean. “You know Dean, after seeing you here earlier, I thought it would be you. But now that she’s come along…” Cain’s dark gaze settling on you. You did your best to remain unfazed, but you could feel Dean’s glare like it was a slap to the face.

“She wasn’t supposed to be here, that wasn’t part of the plan,” Dean growled at Crowley, who only shrugged.

“Had to hedge my bets,” Crowley replied. “Figured you two were the best candidates, and I’d let the big man decide.”

“And decided I have,” Cain answered, coming to you and resting a hand on your shoulder. You stifled a shudder, reminding yourself that you were doing this for Dean. He’d done enough for this shitty world, he shouldn’t have to do this too. You heard one of the doors from the other side of the house open and close quickly, but you knew at least a couple demons snuck through. Dean and you started heading that way, but Cain held you back, whispering in your ear.

“I can give you the Mark, Y/N, if it’s what you truly want. The Mark can be transferred to someone who’s worthy.” He moved to stand in front of you, in between you and Dean, who was preoccupied with the demons Cain undoubtedly let in.

“You mean a killer, like you.”

The corner of his lips twitched. “Yes.”

“Can I use it to kill that bitch?” You snarled, thinking of Abaddon.

“Yes. But you have to know with the Mark comes a great burden. Some would call it a great cost.”

“Spare me the warning label, you had me at kill the bitch.”

“Good luck, Y/N. You’re going to need it.”

Cain grasped your forearm just as Dean returned. You heard him shout in the background, but you couldn’t make it out as you fought against the pain, managing to keep the scream contained in your head. Your arm felt like it was on fire, and then all at once, the feeling disappeared. You looked down, seeing the Mark red and angry against your skin, unable to ignore the rush of power that seemed to come with it.

“And the blade?”

“Nothing can destroy the blade, so I threw it to the bottom of the deepest ocean.” You rolled your eyes, turning from Cain to face Dean. His jaw twitched, worry and fury fighting for dominance in his gaze. Cain continued, stepping between Dean and Crowley.

“You find the blade, kill Abaddon, but you make me a promise first.” You eyed him, wondering what in the hell he would want from you, when Dean and Crowley disappeared. “When I call you, and I will call, you come and find me, and use the blade on me.”

Your face scrunched up in confusion. “Why?”

“For what I’m about to do.” Cain reached forward, and suddenly you were outside standing beside Dean. He looked down to you, grabbing your hand and pulling you to the Impala, Crowley following behind.

Knowing you couldn’t put off the impending shouting match much longer, you finished your shower, got dressed, and walked back to your room to find it empty. You sighed, trying to decide if Dean wanted you to join him in the library, where he was likely downing whiskey. Your bed seemed more inviting though, so you climbed in, waiting for him to join you when you fell asleep.

Instinctively, you stretched your arm to Dean’s side of the bed to find it cold and empty. Sighing, you crawled out of bed and wandered to the library. You’d probably only dozed off for an hour or so, but you still had no idea what you were walking into as you turned the corner.

Your boyfriend was sitting in his armchair, glass of amber liquid in his hand as expected, the decanter on the table half gone beside him. You stopped at the entrance, unsure of what to say. Based on Dean’s blank expression, you were pretty sure he wasn’t sure of how to start either, so you took a deep breath and spoke.

“You’re probably right to be mad, and I’m sorry for that. Crowley told me where you were, what you were going to take on, and I just…”

“You just what, Y/N?” Dean’s voice was dangerously low, but at least he didn’t seem to be completely lost in his bottle.

“You’ve done enough, Dean. If Cain was willing to give it to me, I thought this was one thing I could do to protect you for once.” Dean simply nodded and took a long sip. You were surprised at his next words.

“What did Cain say after he zapped Crowley and I out of there?”

You sighed heavily, knowing he’d want to know sooner or later. “That one day he would call, and I would have to kill him with the blade.” Now that got Dean’s full attention.

“What? He wants you, to kill him?” He asked in disbelief, emphasizing the last three words.

You shrugged. “I was just as surprised as you.” Dean scoffed, exaggerating his own shoulder shrug.

“So that’s it then, huh? Just, shrug it off, act like this is no big deal?” His voice roared, starting the fight you knew you couldn’t avoid.

“I know it’s a big fuckin’ deal, Dean! Why do you think I took it?” You shouted back, strutting over to stand in front of him. You took the glass from his hand, slamming it down so hard you were shocked it didn’t shatter. He shot up to his feet, towering over you.

“You shouldn’t have done it! We have no idea what we got into…”

You snapped back, cutting him off. “So that means you should have taken the risk?” His jaw clenched, and you knew he had nothing to come back with, so you continued. “I know you’re mad Dean, and I get it…”

“Mad?” Dean angrily whispered. “Sweetheart, I’m not mad, I’m fuckin’ furious. At you, at Crowley, at,” he faltered, “this whole damn thing. But more than that, I’m terrified.” You raised an eyebrow, not expecting that, nor the tears that were starting to well in his gorgeous green eyes. He took a long breath, and his hands cupped your face. “We have no idea how this ends, Y/N/N. And I can’t lose you.” His voice was no longer angry, but desperate as his thumbs brushed across your cheekbones.

“I couldn’t lose you either Dean,” you admitted, feeling your eyes start to water as well. He sighed, searching your gaze for an answer you didn’t have.

“I’ll figure this out.” You gave him your best bitchface, and his plump lips thinned into a straight line. “We’ll figure it out, okay?”

You nodded, and he pulled you in, tucking your head under his chin. You knew he wanted to believe that, and right now, you needed that feeling of safety from him. So you tilted your head back, hoping he’d take the hint. His lips captured yours in a soft kiss, causing a tear to fall down your cheek when you closed your eyes. You didn’t know it, but one escaped Dean too as he poured all his love into that kiss, praying to anyone who might be listening that what he said would prove true.

You didn’t sleep much that night, worried your inevitable nightmares would wake Dean. So instead, you lay there quietly, trying to stop your thoughts from running wild. Needing a break from staring at the ceiling, you turned your head to glance at Dean. He was actually sleeping peacefully from the looks of it. His jawline relaxed for the first time that evening, soft lips closed. You were tracing his freckles in your mind when he startled you.

He swallowed, lips pursing as he did. Sleep hadn’t completely let go of its hold on him yet, his eyelids fluttering open just a fraction at first. You’d always thought he was adorable when he first woke up, and this time was no exception, right up until the events of the last day seemed to come back to him, and his gaze snapped to meet yours.

“Can’t sleep?” he asked, green apple orbs filled with concern. Your heart skipped a beat, knowing you were the reason for that worry. He turned to rest on his side, facing you, skilled fingers tucked stray hair behind your ear.

You did your best to smile at him. “You know me too well.” You inched closer, burying your face into his strong chest. His arms pulled you in tight, one hand tangling itself in your hair.

“I’m sorry,” Dean murmured. You could feel the deep timbre of his voice, and you melted into the comfort he was providing. “I know you’re scared too, even if you won’t say it.”

“I believe the word is terrified,” you replied, half-jokingly. He kissed the top of your head.

“I promise you, Y/N/N, we will figure this out.” You nodded enough that he would feel it, afraid to speak and let out your fear. “But you have to sleep, okay? I’m right here.”

Him reminding you how much he loved you was the last straw, and you felt the sob eek out before you could stop it. He didn’t say anything, simply pulled you impossibly closer, as you breathed through your moment of panic.

Once your breathing evened out, he loosened his hold so he could rest his forehead on yours. “I love you, Y/N.”

You captured his lips in a sweet kiss, not trusting your voice yet.

“I know you do, sweetheart,” he mumbled against your lips before pulling back slightly, tucking your head back under his chin. “Now close those pretty eyes. I’ve got you, alright? You’re safe.”

He stroked your hair until he knew you had fallen asleep before he let his own tears fall, searing the memory of your body against his into his mind.

stevie! thank you for sending this! so I knew this was going to be difficult to answer, so I decided to give you my fave sets from schitt's creek, heartstopper, rwrb, and taylor swift! i.e. the key parts of my personality!

David Rose x Bruises by Renee Rapp: I remember you saying this song is for David Rose, and I completely agreed! I knew I would do something with it one day and then the set its inspired by came across my dash and it was meant to be! I love the colors and the typography in this one! I consciously only chose scenes of David from season 1 so looking at our boy in that season made me feel a lot. I just wanted to hug him the entire time and give him a glimpse of his future.

Nick + Charlie and Fearless (Taylor's Version): this is a set inspired by @eddiediaaz's beautiful 911 x Speak Now sets (linking Part 1 and Part 2 because they are GORGEOUS AND I'LL NEVER STOP SCREAMING ABOUT THEM). this is a set that if I saw it even last year, I would have thought I wasn't skilled enough to figure it out and do it. but once alie posted the tutorial for the cassette animation, I decided to go for it. I was giffing a lot of Heartstopper at the time so I knew it would be a Nick/Charlie set. it was between Fearless and Speak Now for the album. I went with Fearless for two reasons. First, yellow is one of their colors. Second, I could not get over how perfect Fifteen is for them. Nick saying, "I wish I knew then what I know now," and the song going "wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now" was too perfect to pass up.

RWRB page to screen: my first set for this movie and it uses the same ripped paper technique I used in the Heartstopper set! I was actually hesitant to make this set because I saw other people doing the ripped paper thing and I didn't want people to think I was copying them. a classic problem us gif creators deal with I think. but I did it and I love how it turned out! it's definitely one that takes time to figure out to make sure the right text shows up in the paper, but I was patient with myself for the hours it took me to make it lol.

Fearless (Taylor's Version) Event set: I consider this to be my first "real" set on my side blog. I had done other sets before but it was at this point I consciously thought, I want to make more taylor sets! and I love this one! Fifteen is one of my favorite songs of taylor's and so I got it in my head to make a set with that song and thought it would be cool to have it be her playing the guitar through the years, and it worked out perfectly because she played Fifteen on the guitar during the Fearless Tour so that could be the last gif!

Kinnporsche finale(🤧🤧 )thots

1) apo and mile are so fine. And fine actors. And have good chemistry . Like all of that together. Wow.

2) p'tong did a wonderful job in the three brothers scene. And he looks like the elder brother when they're all sitting together. He's taller.

3) but jeff was the one consoling him. I kind of think kim didn't know daddy korn didn't die. Even he didn't think korn would take it so far as to fake his death . It's my feeling.

4) someone make a side by side gifset of that stan lee librarian fight in andrew Garfield's spidey movie , brooklynn 99's gina and kimchay scene. It was fuckin hilarious. But also extremely romantic. Like , kim tried to not break bottles in the beginning. 🥺 So that chay won't be disturbed or even slightly inconvenienced. 🥺🥺🤧 Lovely.

5) the shot of the theerapanyakun crest being shot multiple times during the confrontation scene in the porch🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

6) Did daddy chan know?? I feel like he may or may not have. His death was cinematic excellence though. It kind of gave off the vibe that he won't be mourned. Maybe bodyguard deaths are not mourned.

7) it's also kind of sweet how the elderly guards like erika and chan may see kinn still as the boy who would play pretend or run through the hallways or mess with them on their duty hours and shit and i dunno it kinda hurt seeing how erika was like get kinn out of here and chan was like they're coming fuckin run I'm sorry i couldn't stop them 😢😢😢🤧

8) also we didn't get MUCH of arm , pol and pete bodyguarding because they were with tankhun and all of us like to make fun of them that they're scaredy cats and all that. But do you think, for even a minute , that Korn would place his eldest heir under the protection of weak men? No no no. Those are the best guards under their payroll. They're also the MOST LOYAL and TRUSTWORTHY ones , which is what tankhun needs. And boy they delivered.

9) bible. The scenes where he breaks down. Acting🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

10) like if we're gonna mention acting we'd be here all day. Every single cast member did their job. The mother- creepy as hell and made us question if this was really the end , WITHOUT OPENING HER MOUTH EVEN ONCE.

Korn- master deception but gentle and calm hence we're bound to fall into his trap like a snake moves with the charmer

Gun- violent explosive loud so we're less likely to listen to him ,but more likely to suspect him.

Chay- his childlike innocence still there , but clouded by kim' s dark aura which is still shy of leaving him alone

Kim- still can play guitar and hold a gun , won't bat an eye while killing you , and many many things which even the main family spies probably haven't a clue about I'm sure.

Like all these different character portrayed with utmost care and precision. The entire cast deserves a second season.

11) most favourite scene is vegas going "or heart?" And kinn screamed YANG!!! . Like that's love bitch. 😔

12) second fav scene has to be jeff kicking ass while making all of us collectively drool.

13) pete and vegas was the couple i was most scared they'd leave as a cliffhanger or somethin but thank God. Also macau💕💕💕💕. They're a family and i like to believe that prosche protects them from afar which is how he gets the minor family to behave.

14) the rings. They got the matching rings. I'd like to believe kinn's is platinum and prosche's is gold.

15) vegas took multiple bullets. There may have been an alternative ending in my mind for like a few seconds where i thought pete would shoot the last shot to finally kill vegas coz he didn't want vegas to die by another hand.

16) i mean the sight of apo coming in with guns blazing , tits sculpting white tee and all which cut right through his biceps had me moaning so it's no wonder kinn's hand strayed a little far from the gun . 👀👀

17)tankhun had his fun. Like he wasn't afraid to kick ass from afar. Please sniper tankhun in season 2 🥺🥺

18)also people have been saying kinn is stupid and all of that and he's not fit to be a leader . I'd like you to consider .. the gun -porsche-kinn scene. He tried to talk his uncle out of it.

19) in the meeting after korn's supposed death , that's when i felt that kinn was most out of reach. Without porsche by his side his animalistic side has the wheel and that's not good for anybody. But with porsche back at his side , kinn sees reason.

20) and which is why kinn is better than korn. Kinn is not a manipulative violent asshole . He also doesn't trust his father(asks porsche "do you believe that?")maybe we'll get to see kinn finally grow out of his father's mould and be better than him in next season.

all is well..... I guess.

I have certain expectations or theories for the second season and i want them to be real so bad. Maybe another post ..... Hm...

And that final shot of Britin? 😭 It says so much to me to see Brian just draped over Justin and it’s clearly not the first time. It just screams to me how Brian shows how much he loves Justin through his physical body. You don’t pass out on top of someone like that without being fully comfortable with them…

This is where I'm at my happiest creatively, I love thinking in scenes it's my gif process of being able to see a quote/line of dialogue and either jump to a parallel or think of which moments slot in. Kinda like the lyrics set I did for you, so any quotes/poetry/lyrics you associate with them as always send my way it may spark some creativity!

I was feeling down (as you know lol) with my gifs so I'm trying to make more things like this which don't stress me out as the scenes do, and trying out new gif layouts.

But yes that final scene of Brian being so nakedly raw and vulnerable (no pun intended 😛) all his walls and defences are gone and as you say he is an actions speak louder than words kinda guy, physical touch is his communication and we see that as he clings to Justin. Justin himself comes to realise this "he showed me he loved me everyday." Brian canonically can't keep his hands off Justin which makes him being so affronted at Brian wanting to cuddle so fucking hilarious - god that entire conversation is cringe the execution to get Justin to NY was so poor 🤦🏻‍♀️

You sense Brian is finally at peace in a weird way in that scene because he's no longer hiding how he feels, the dreaded "love" weight has been lifted and that's what makes it even more heartbreaking because we know Justin's leaving. Justin truly was his exception to everything.

I'm staying anonymous for now.

This is because of this post (post/668044585142992896/since-that-gifset-of-nick-yesterday-and-your) that I'm overly thinking details like this again. So my scattered thoughts might not make sense to you.

And I will take you ahead of time, I never meant to write this message to be a long message. But my thoughts are always this scattered a lot of the time when I'm thinking about characters, plots, stories, things..

I've watched and rewatched Fear Street movies a few times, and I will watch it again because why not watch horror movies for Halloween.

And if I'm honest... I enjoyed the movies more that I actually thought I would have. Which is saying a lot from me. But there are some details that bothered me, obviously the continuation errors really bother me.

I don't know if I'm the only one with that problem. But I also wish that there more depth to the characters, the plot, the story, to everything.. The acting was fine. The special effects were fine. Things were fine.

I wanted more depth, even just a little more depth.

Like before Nick Goode knew about his family tradition (the Pact), he genuinely seemed like a sweetheart who never discriminated against anyone for their differences. Including Shadysiders. That's the way I'd view his character. He was a sweetheart who wanted to help anyone - like Ziggy - in any way he could. And if I'm honest, I'm not sure if Nick was already crushing on Ziggy at that point. Or if he just didn't want a person to be constantly harassed, and almost killed, for petty reasons like everyone kept doing to Ziggy. Ziggy was just blamed because she was the only Shadysider in those situations whenever counselors had been involved. But, then again, the viewers never really see Nick even interacting with any other Shadysiders besides Ziggy. So I'm not even really sure if Nick's sweet spot was only for Ziggy, or for anyone else if they got to know the real him. Not his family name, not his reputation or his status. The real him as himself. Maybe I'm overly thinking this.

Nick told Ziggy that he's never wanted to be a part with the traditions of his family like the Pact, and tried finding ways to talk himself out of doing the ritual. The viewers never thought the Goode family was this evil family, until the reveal in 1666. But the scene with Ted Sutherland as the teenage Goode men, as Nick, he does really list Thomas Slater. But when he listed Tommy as a name, that happened before he really talked to Ziggy. Because Tommy was killing people during the scenes of Nick and Ziggy kissing, they heard screaming in that moment. And that was when Nick's fate was sealed. But he did try saving people, as many people that he could find. And he was traumatized by the death he did witness, he even got sick over what he saw. Either... Nick never didn't believe the Pact was actually real, or maybe he never thought a situation like that would have never lead to killing dozens of people all at once like that. I don't know. I don't really know if his fate was sealed when he listed a name on the wall, or when he wish to resurrect Ziggy back to life. And I've had similar thoughts as you. After you find out all the antagonizes were actually the Goode family, maybe Nick was also trying to find ways to redeem himself in some way or another but the situations always kept getting worse rather than better. But I wonder.. Do you think he lost his entire soul from the '78 Nightwing Massacre, or do think he kept losing pieces of his soul whenver he added names to the wall for another massacre. A thought that comes to mind a lot.

The Goode father was dead. Nick and Will weren't being controlled by their father anymore. So Nick didn't have to keep that tradition going.

There are details that I always wish was explained more in depth - the minor and major details that weren't elaborated on in the movies, and especially the audience who never read the books or don't remember those details in the books. I know they altered a a few details though.

Like for the Witchcraft, the black magic. Obviously the witchcraft was a part of the Goode family since 1666 because of Solomon Goode did use the magic book, which was passed down for many generations.

How did the Goode father die? So I know not many people care about the father of Nick and Will, but I'm kinda curious to know how he died though. Even if his death might not be an interesting death either.

Did any of the females, like mothers and sisters, know about the Pact in the family. Or only the males. I know, I know.. People have theories.

Just about any and every detail of the plot that was elaborated on are the same details I'm overly thinking about, whether or not the details are interesting. Whether or not the details are major and minor details to the viewers of the movies. Even if the details are to the plot.

I'm just overly thinking through with scattered thoughts right now. And, I know that I keep saying that, but that's how my mind is for me.

ah no this is so great! the great thing about this trilogy is the characters. the must frustrating thing about this trilogy is also the characters, Nick in particular.

The thing that guts most people about Nick is the potential he had. To be better. To forsake the curse. Because Nick obviously had a lot of feelings for Ziggy and knew what he was doing was wrong, but he did it anyway. He succumbed to the curse and his privilege, even if he didn't necessarily seem happy about it based on how he looked when he said Tommy's name.

LOL in my head canon Nick had a crush on Ziggy for a really long time and only found the courage during that summer because of what he decided to do.

I've talked a lot about this with other people - like Nick's intention with the curse, because he was trying to save people and he was frolicking around with Ziggy shortly beforehand. To me, he did know it was real, even if he didn't want it to be. He got close to Ziggy because he wanted to make sure she was okay, even if that epically failed and he was a complete idiot about all of it. the thing about Nick is that he has some humanity in him, especially when it comes to Ziggy. Maybe he didn't want the curse to be real, but he knew it was deep down (in my mind). He just tried to justify his reasoning to himself and was weak.

In my mind, Nick lost a major chunk of his soul when he turned his back on Ziggy at Nightwing. When she pushed him away. Nick in 1994 and Nick in 1978 are two very different people. Nick when he puts Ryan's name on the wall is so much more of an asshole than Nick when he put Tommy (though obviously he's still awful either way). Part of my frustration with this trilogy is that Nick totally becomes a textbook moustache twirling villain in 1994 after he holds Ziggy hostage. Like his whole speech to Deena? totally lacking in nuance. He was just straight up evil. And while some people are like that (Nick’s dad was totally a creep), it was disappointing that they reduced his character so much especially because they’d shown him as a more nuanced character in 1978.

There’s been a lot of debate on how the curse actually worked because the film implies that the first born son kind of automatically inherits the burden? Like the devil ensures that the cycle continues by each Goode having a son and so on. The son doesn’t know until they’re like 17 or something and then they’re told. But if that’s the case - how much free will do they have? Does the heart disappear after the Goode heir dies and then reappears when the curse is renewed? It’s very unclear because the wall has the names when Nick says Tommy and his dad is dead by then. When Nick dies in 1994, it all disappears, so the nuances of the curse are very unclear.

In my head canon, Joseph Goode (Nick’s dad) died from a sudden heart attack or other accident as a final fuck you from satan, though I know other people have different ideas on how Joseph bit the dust which are so fun.

In terms of the females though, people have looked at the Goode family tree and there were barely any females born. Like it’s sons and sons and sons. In my opinion, I think the Goode matriarch’s knew something was up, but maybe not the full details. Same with Will. I like the idea of the curse being something solely thrust on the shoulder’s of the first born son, and so he’s very isolated from the family afterwards.

honestly EVERYTHING is SO GOOD. I've never been in a fandom that had so much good shit, like for example I think I've read about 200 succ fanfics now and they were all amazing??? not one shitty one. so choosing one thing for each category was really hard, but here we go:

fanfic: loser in the sky with diamonds by scrunyuns basically tom & greg go on a trip to the bahamas and tom accidentally takes acid that greg took with him, and then the rest of the fic is them having an acid trip. I'm telling you, this is the funniest thing I've ever read in my whole fucking life. it's from tom's pov (which I'm a big fan of overall) and because of the drugs he's even more unhinged & cringe than usual, I was constantly crying of laughter (I was reading this in the middle of the night and I really had to do my best to stay quiet and not wake my family). and it's SO IN CHARACTER it's crazy, I 100% recommend it if you want to have a good time (all of scrunyuns' fics are amazing, don't know if they're on tumblr but if they're reading this I'm your biggest fan) (thinking about making a tomgreg fic recommendations list based on mood btw, like the best sad fics, the best funny fics, the best aus etc.)

fanart: god there are so many good ones but this one made me laugh out loud, always love to see succession gone girl discourse.

fanvid: @mirunalives' feel like like a woman tom fanvid is one I need to watch at least once a week to keep my sanity, it's so funny

and if I had to choose one I made myself it's my spiralling tom fanvid, because I feel like it really captures tom's entire character and his relationship with both greg & shiv and it makes me scream and tear at walls.

People having dibs on when the writers should post their stories are CRAZY excuse me, they’re giving us stories they don’t have to write but they still do and some people are like no, thank you?????!!!! I’m gonna turn off the internet for those freaks. If I ever get 5 different stories on Monday I would just explode with happiness and gratitude. Some people just take things for granted, that’s wrong. Like, we’re on hiatus, we don’t have content to look for for another +1 month so the only thing keeping me sane is the fics you guys are giving us. Why just have 1 fic through the entire hiatus when we can have a lot more? And let me add that the writers in the Upstead fandom are so fucking good. Like, I’m not kidding when I say that everything I read is more o less so spot on on what we would see on tv, and that’s all thank to you writer(s). That means you know the characters you are writing extremely well and that is portrayed on your stories.

In conclusion, to complaining-anons and haters: just mind your business.

To the writers/content creators: The more content the better. Don’t get annoyed or discouraged by what has been said because it’s not worthy. Feel free to create whatever you like and post it whenever you want. You don’t owe anything to anyone. I can assure you there is no competition inside the fandom, there is no writer more popular and important than the others. I personally don’t see it that way. And honestly, a quick look inside the fandom and anyone would see how you guys are all supporting of each other, defending each other from copied fics, stolen gifsets etc….

Anon, I need you to scream this from the rooftops because you said everything SO BRILLIANTLY!!

There are 7 days in a week and dozens on dozens of creators in this fandom spanning so many different platforms. Are we supposed to just create a new day of the week to make sure we are avoiding “overlap”?? Which in my mind is just a stupid thing to complain about anyway considering double or triple the content in one day only sounds like a blessing.

Echoing what you said, in my experience at least, the content creators in this fandom have been just as (if not more) supportive than regular content consumers. Which makes it so frustrating to me to see anons complaining “on behalf of” these content creators over things that aren’t and shouldn’t be problems.

Thank you for putting this together and for laying everything out so wonderfully. Hopefully your wisdom gets into some of these people’s heads.

My message to the anons/trolls: stop trying to stir up drama where drama doesn’t exist. None of us want that, especially not us content creators. Your dumb little anon takes might be the reason we creators stop creating content at all
