Mirabel: What are they doing?
Bruno and Camilo, jumping up and down while maintaining intense eye contact and chanting in unison: A big black bug bit a big black bear. A BIG BLACK BUG BIT A BIG BLACK BEAR.
Isabela: I think it's some kind of cult ritual.
Mirabel: Should we...stop them?
Isabela: And get cursed by the bear cult? I think not.

Neurodivergent Madrigals
So in the tags of my first headcanon list @omgcheez mentioned neurodivergent headcanons for the canon characters, and it got me thinking. I don't know if I would call all of these headcanons, most of them are my interpretations of canon, or theories I have, but that's close enough.
Bruno- Dude has OCD, they put it in the script, the creators said he’s based off of ND family members, it’s canon. Dude may have autism too, I am largely apathetic to that reading of his character. I neither like nor dislike it. I think it works for him but his character also works without autism. I do headcanon that he comes out of the walls with back problems that not even Julieta can fix, that will make him bed ridden in the last year of his life.
Alma- The whole movie is kind of contingent on her PTSD. Like, she watched her husband get murdered right in front of her and it changed her. It would be really weird to be like “Yeah, sure, her trauma changed her forever, but it didn’t alter her brain chemistry or anything!” So yeah, Alma has PTSD.
Pepa- I don’t know a lot about anxiety disorders, so this theory is one grain of salt away from being canon to me. Is it still an anxiety disorder if the thing making you anxious is the ever looming threat you might summon a hurricane? Or is that just perfectly normal, non-disordered anxiety? Either way, the woman is constantly anxious, so depending on the definition of Anxiety Disorder, she probably has one.
Antonio- This is in that nebulous space between “an idea the writers had” and “something that wasn’t in the movie”. It’s not technically canon, but it’s a little more than a fan theory. He was originally supposed to be non-verbal, so unless the plan was for him to be straight up mute, I think it’s pretty safe to read him as autistic. Although mute Antonio would have been interesting too.
Luisa- This is on the line between fan theory and headcanon. Her people pleasing tendencies scream anxiety disorder to me, especially considering the way she melts down when she feels like she’s disappointing everyone.
Dolores- I don’t think the writers intended for her to be autistic, but a lot of people in that community vibe with her, so that’s a headcanon I will go to bat for. I think that even if she isn’t literally autistic, her gift effects her in ways that she kind of might as well be. Y'know? It's like with Alma, it's sort of weird to be like "Yeah, ok, so because of her super hearing she experiences a lot of the same issues as an autistic person who struggles with sensory sensitivity, but she doesn't have an autistic brain! Just an extremely similar life experience!".
Mirabel- She’s probably got some unaddressed depression, I feel like that’s kind of a given. Although, the movie sets her up more as a metaphor for being physically disabled.
Isabela- I think you could very easily read Isabela as being some variation of ND that hyper fixates (on plants), and she just has masking skills off the charts. So either autism or ADHD, or both.
Julieta- IDK what problems Juli has, but realistically she’s been dealing with gruesome injuries from a young age. So she’s probably got some sort of trauma response. We don't see enough of her character outside the role of Caring Mother for me to make a call on this.
Camilo- He’s a theatre kid.

Encanto 2023 Day 17: Home
The anniversary of the Madrigal’s Miracle was both a celebration and a tough time for the family. On one hand, it was the triplets’ birthday and the anniversary of the magic that brought them their Casita in the first place. On the other hand, it was also the anniversary of their father’s death. It was the hardest day of the year for Alma in particular, because not only are her children getting older, but she was also reminded of the loss of her husband.
On the day of the triplets’ fifty-first birthday, Casita transformed its courtyard into a mini-theatre for the children to put on a variety show they were planning throughout the day. While they did so, Alma took the triplets out for lunch and to go shopping to make sure it was kept a surprise. While they were out, Julieta and Pepa found a little perfume shop in the village square that had all different kinds of scents to sample.
“What do you think about this? The bottle itself looks nice and I can smell a bit of a mint scent to it,” Julieta explained as she gave the bottle to Pepa.
“I love this mint one. It reminds me of whenever Casita changes its scent during the Christmas season to match the mood,” Pepa replied.
Bruno walked over to his sisters to see what they were smelling. “Are there any other scents they may have?” he asked.
“How about this one? I know perfumes tend to be too strong for you, but I think this one is a little bit milder,” Julieta said as she handed Bruno a citrus-scented perfume bottle.
“I like this one! Not only that citrus is my favorite scent, but it also reminds me of that time Casita made itself smell like citrus at the beginning of summer, that one time when we were kids to remind mama of the smell of her hometown in the summer.”
Pepa then picked up a vanilla-scented perfume bottle. “What about this one? You know how much I love vanilla scents!”
“Casita even makes itself smell like vanilla sometimes during the Christmas season, along with the mint scent,” Julieta pointed out.
“Maybe we should ask mama what her favorite scent Casita produces is,” said Bruno.
The triplets found their mother by the fabrics, trying to find one to make a dress out of for Luisa’s twentieth birthday next month. She turned around and saw her triplets running up to her excitedly, while also smelling a small combination of the scents they were smelling at the perfume shop.
“Hola, mijos! Are you ready to head over to have lunch?”
“Si, but we also wanted to ask you something while we walked to the cafe,” Julieta said.
Alma and the triplets began walking over to their favorite cafe Alma used to take them when they were children. Alma even took her grandchildren there several times a year and would go as a family often. The Madrigals have gone so often that the owner and his family became great friends with the Madrigals.
“Mama, we want to know, what’s your favorite scent that Casita makes? We were messing with a few perfume bottles in the shop and we were curious,” Pepa asked.
“That’s a great question; I love all the scents that Casita brings to us over every holiday, but my absolute favorite is the apple-cinnamon scent that Casita brings when autumn starts,” Alma explained to the triplets.
“I think that one’s my favorite, too,” Julieta replied.
“As much as vanilla is my favorite scent, I think the apple-cinnamon scent is my second favorite since that’s usually Casita’s signal for us that the autumn season is starting,” Pepa explained.
“Same here,” said Bruno.
“Do you ever wonder if Casita can make a birthday cake scent on any of our birthdays? I don’t think it has ever done that before,” said Julieta.
“I don’t know, maybe it might do that today. We’ll see,” Alma replied.
Once Alma and the triplets got to the cafe, the current owner walked up to Alma and gave her a hug. “Hola, Alma! How have you been?”
“I’ve been great, Mateo, gracias.”
“And I understand it’s your childrens’ birthday today? Feliz cumpleanos, Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno!”
“Gracias, Mateo,” the triplets said simultaneously.
“I see you’re going to be fifty this year?”
“Fifty-one; and I’m taking them here today because my grandkids are planning something extremely special for them when we get home later this afternoon, since this is their first birthday together again in ten years,” Alma explained.
“That is amazing! I’ll get you seated right away.” Mateo took out four menus for them and led Alma and the triplets to their seats outside the cafe. “I’ll get your server.”
Once Mateo walked into the cafe, Alma and the triplets decided to continue their conversation about Casita’s scents. “Not only that the apple-cinnamon scent is the sign of the autumn season starting, but probably smells the most homey to me,” Alma explained.
“I think any autumn-related scent smells homey to me,” Bruno replied.
Alma and the triplets continued their conversation throughout the lunch and spent some more time in the village square for a couple more hours before it was time to go home. Once they got back to Casita’s front door, it was locked. Casita purposefully locked the door to make sure they did not come in until everything was set up. Once Casita unlocked itself, Alma opened the door to see the courtyard transformed into a mini theatre, and the children on the stage, Felix and Agustin at a table on the side of the stage with the cake they made together, and most of the village in the audience.
“SURPRISE!!” the children, Agustin, Felix, and the villagers yelled once they saw the triplets walk inside.
The triplets cried in shock once they saw how Casita transformed itself. They even smelled the birthday cake scent that they were talking about in the village with their mother earlier that day. Did they predict this? Or did Casita just want to do something special since this was their first birthday in ten years with Bruno again.
“Mama, did you plan to have Casita smell like a birthday cake today?” Julieta asked.
“Don’t look at me, I wasn’t involved in the planning of any of this,” Alma answered.
The triplets walked to the front of the courtyard to see three empty seats with papers on them that each say “RESERVED FOR THE BIRTHDAY BOY/GIRL” on them. They removed the papers and sat down in the seats. Felix and Agustin walked from the cake table and found their seats next to their wives.
“Do you like what we planned?” Felix asked.
“You planned this?” Pepa asked.
“We just planned to have Casita smell like a birthday cake. The kids planned everything else,” Agustin explained.
“We love it; we know we’re truly home when we’re with you,” said Julieta.

in the same verse as those hcs of delores and macaque, i feel like macaque would track down bruno first because he enjoyed bruno's plays, but then learns bruno can see the future like macaque can hear it. considering the personalities involved, would turn out great or horribly
I have been tossing around a Bruno and Macaque fic for a bit and yeah, that is the vibe. My thought process, however, was the Madrigal kids going on a school trip to China and Bruno being a chaperone (pushed by Alma) who ends up entranced with the cool shadow play they watch.
And maybe the puppeteer.
I think Macaque would get a kick out of Bruno, while Bruno is much more nervous around Macaque. Even if he can see into the future, he can't predict what this shadow will do next. One second, he and Macaque are relaxing and talking about how to do this cool theatre thing, the next Macaque is in a fistfight with Mirabel and has to be separated by Qi Xiaotian.

Two Theatre Kids {Young Bruno Madrigal}
Master List
Tumblr media
Extra Info to Know Before Reading: This is inspired by the musical ‘Heathers’ // Meant To Be Mine (I know it was written in like 2010 BUT let’s just say it wasn’t.)
Casita was quiet, the only sounds coming from Julieta in the kitchen, working nimbly to prepare lunch for the house hold. Pepa, at her sisters side, Félix with the two, chatting ideally. When the sound Casita’s front doors being thrown open caught their attention. The two sisters looked at each other a moment before they slowly inched towards the courtyard. Ears straining at the sound of hushed words, before a bang was heard. “Félix, get Agustín and go around…” Félix nodded at Julieta’s words and quickly shifted to leave through the kitchen to get outside, to find the city boy. “Querida~ amor… por favor~” the sound of Bruno’s voice caused shivers to run down Julieta’s back, and without a second thought she ran out to the courtyard. Eyes instantly in the scene before her. Casita had put a wall between Y/n and Bruno, two doors the only thing keeping them truly apart.
Y/n stood a step away from the door, hands raised and clasped over her mouth, exaggerated fearful shaking racking through her body as she took in staggered breaths. Bruno stood on the other side, a deranged took dripping from his features as he leaned against the other side of the door with a look Julieta has never seen her younger brother wear.
“You were meant to be mine~!” The raised tone that melted off of Bruno’s tongue was chilling, his eyes closed and a sickly sweet smile chilling the room. He laid a open hand on the door, leaning his forehead against the rough wood. “I am all that you need~!” Dark eyes opened, pupils blown wide as he slid his hand down the door, slowly moving his hand to rest on the door knob. “You carved open my heart~” Bruno gripped the door knob with his left hand as he spoke, right hand clutching at the fabric of his ruana, harshly twisting left and right before pulling his hand away, a sneer pulling at his lips. “Can’t just leave me to bleed~!” Banging an open palm on the door he let out a staggered breath. “Y/N!¡!” It was quiet a moment, Pepa’s eyes wide as she struggled to figure out what to do. “Open the….” Bruno took in a deep breath, the sickening smile returning to rest upon his lips. “Open the door please~” his tone swam in a sickening tone that turned Pepa’s stomach, leaving her feeling sick and helpless, and she found herself only able to watch, as both sides played out. Her eyes found Y/n’s who gave her a weak smile in turn, her hand pulling out a small bottle of clear red liquid from her satchel.
Bruno reached his hands up, resting them near the top of the door before leaning his head against the rough wood, eyes closed, hands shaking. “Y/n open the door~” Y/n gripped the clear red liquid tightly in her hand, eyes blown in fear as she rested her back against the door, hand reaching up to wipe furiously at her eyes. “Y/n, can we not fight anymore please~” turning her head to the right, she caught sight of blue joining yellow before she sucked in a breath, breaking the brief eye contact. “Can we not fight anymore~!” The bang that resounded through the courtyard echoed, causing Y/n to jump in fright, attention back to looking at the door as she slowly slid to the floor. “Y/n, I’m sure you’re scared~!” Popping the small bottle open Y/n took a breath, eyes locking with Pepa and Julieta a moment before she brought the bottle to her mouth. “I’ve been there, I can set you free~!” The bang that echoed through the courtyard cause both Pepa and Julieta to flinch, a storm cloud appearing and thundering over the two sisters as they watched in horror. “Y/n don’t make me come in there!” Throwing her head back Y/n emptied the contents into her mouth, eyes closing as she clutched the bottle close to her chest, raising and falling with every staggered breath she took.
“I’m going to count to three!” Bruno banged on the door at the end of his sentence, his eyes momentarily going to his sisters, his sinister smirk widening impossibly at the audience that he gained. “One” he held up one finger, dark eyed drifting between the two, frozen in their spots. “Two” Y/n crawled back away from the door, before she fell to her side. Glass bottle clanking tauntingly through the air as it his cement and rolled. “Fuck it!” Stepping back Bruno clenched his fists, and prepared to kick the door before arms wrapped around him and pulled him back. “Agustín! Félix!” Pepa called in surprise, eyes watching intensely as Bruno was dragged back away from the door. “Bruno what is wrong with you!?” the raven haired teen only tilted his head in response, wide doe eyes looking over his shoulders to his sisters novios.
“Y/n!” Julieta was quick to run forward once she had registered that Bruno was properly restrained by Félix and Agustín. The teen remained unmoving, breathing shallow. “Pepa go grab something for her to eat quick!” At those words Bruno perked up, his eyes quickly turning to the door casita had placed between himself and Y/n; Pepa’s yellow dress moving in a blur as she ran into the kitchen. Doors moved and makeshift walls receded to where they originally had come from. “What’s wrong with Y/n?” He asked in confusion as he looked towards Julieta as she pulled the limp teen into her lap, hand running through her hair to move the flyways out of her face. “Y/n, wake up, Pepa is getting you an arepa” Y/n’s shoulders were shook and her softly.
“You psicópata! She drank something because of you!” Félix’s hands tightened on the raven haired teens arms as he, and Bruno found himself fighting back a wince at the tight grip. “psicópata?” He muttered eyes turning back to Julieta as Pepa ran back into the room with an arepa in her hand. “Ay dios mio” Bruno fought back a smile as he slumped forward, a chuckle leaving his lips. “Y/n, Querida, scenes over” at his words Y/n pushed herself up to sit, head tilting as she looked to Bruno who smiled lovingly to her. “That wasn’t in the script” Bruno shook his head at Y/n’s words and slowly pulled his limbs free from the his sisters novios grasps. Y/n looked towards Julieta and Pepa a moment before she pushed herself up, offering Julieta a hand once she was standing.
“But…” Julieta hesitated a moment looking towards Y/n’s hand before back to her brother. “You were shaking with fear, I felt scared for you looking into your eyes!” Y/n simply smiled and leaned down, grabbing Julieta’s hand and pulling her up. “Mí vida, you put your heart and soul into that scene didn’t you?” Y/n hummed quietly, hand patting Julieta’s shoulder reassuringly before she turned to Bruno with a smile. “So did you!” She stepped forward a step before her arm was grabbed by Pepa, who’s eyes were on her brother, pooled with hesitancy. Y/n looked back to Pepa smiling in reassurance and she reached her free hand into her satchel, and pulling out a small note book. “It’s okay, we were just reenacting a scene from this play, it’s called ‘Heathers,’ it’s really big in the cities right now”
“You make a really good J.D Cariño” Y/n gave Pepa one last smile as she stepped closer to Bruno. “Using my name instead of Veronica though?” Bruno rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Lo siento, I thought it would get a more genuine reaction” Y/n shook her head as she looped her arm around Bruno’s with a content hum. “It caught me off guard that’s for sure. But I think you scared your sisters because of it” Bruno finally glanced to the two and panic instantly flooded his system as he quickly stopped forward. “Lo siento! I didn’t, I didn’t really think that through.” He bumped his forehead with the palm of his hand muttering quietly before offering more apologies.
“Ayy we should have known” Pepa shook her head and threw the arepa in her hand at Bruno with an annoyed look. “I thought I was going to have to hit you with lightning!” She glared in annoyance at her brother before huffing and turning away from him, arms crossed. Félix was quickly to shimmy his way to stand next to Pepa, wrapping her in a loving hug. “If you were to have so much as put a finger in Y/n” Julieta waved her finger threateningly at Bruno and huffed out a sigh as he nodded quickly.
Bruno moved to stand next to Y/n once more. “No…” Bruno slipped an arm around Y/n’s waist pulling her closer to his side with a smile. “Never” he leaned down and peppered her with quick kisses, muttering words of affection as he did so.

Candlelight Fun Facts
And finally, to make up for the lateness of the last couple of chapters as I figured out how to best end this monster fic - have some fun facts and future notes about Reme and Bruno’s lives.
Beware, there are spoilers ahead and it’s fucking long. Consume at your own peril my lurves:
1) Reme knows how to fence. Growing up a rich girl, it was one of the things she took up, thinking it would improve her station in her family. It did not work. She quit after two years and was a solid 5/10.
2) Reme used to smoke. The classic ‘I’m at university let’s give this a go’. And because it’s set in the 1950′s and everyone thought it was good for you back then. She quit after 6 months because she didn’t like the taste. (Don’t smoke kids, etc, etc)
3) Reme is Colombian (despite any of my butchering of the language and slang used). The university she studies at its The National University of Colombia.
4) Reme technically speaks 5 languages: Spanish, French, German, English and Italian. She is fluent in two, speaks well enough in another two, and is terrible at one. You get to pick which is which.
5) Because we love the spouse and family colour schemes in Encanto, I always imagine Reme’s default outfit as like a white/beige shirt, loosely buttoned with rolled sleeves. Dark green suspenders, with even darker green slacks. The blazer she sometimes wears on top is tweed.
6) On her wedding day Reme wears a white version of her usual shirt and slacks and her white blazer is embroidered with bright colours by Mirabel. (Somehow she still manages to get the entire thing covered in mud and grass stains before the ceremony - but that’s a one shot for another time). Emilia and Mateo walk Reme down the aisle.
7) Reme and Bruno’s triplets are identical boys. Their names are Rico, Luis, and Fabian. (Reme nearly straight up divorces Bruno when he suggests they call one of them David, as a joke). Two years after the boys are born, Reme and Bruno (accidentally) break the Madrigal tradition of having 3 kids. They have two more kids (one year apart from one another) called Marcos and Maria.
some fun facts about the kids (in age order), because how could I not:
-Rico is the best. He is classic Himbo through and through and I would die for him. Like think thor-level himbo in Ragnarok. He’s not really the brains of the group, but he’s the eldest and he loves his family like so much dudes and is always willing to help. Has the dumbest ideas and lowkey the leader of the triplets. It’s worth noting all the triplets are identical and they look almost exactly like Reme, but with Bruno’s nose and hair. Rico’s gift is Invulnerability.
-Luis is basically a calmer copy of his mother. Quiet, logical and obsessed with science. But this extends to all sciences. His favourite is chemistry. Despite his calm exterior he is also a pyromaniac (my boy) and his bedroom is explosion proof due to his experiments. His gift is the ability to see the history of an object by touching it.
- Fabian is a poet and writer much like his father. He is a soft emotional boy and we love him. He is always performing or helping his father with stuff at the theatre. He wants to become a famous actor and playwrite and one day leave the Encanto. Ironically, he is the one who gets into the most arguments with his father - usually about plot and pacing and themes in their writing. (One time Fabian calls his writing contrived and they don’t talk for a whole week). His gift is the ability to sense - and mildly influence - other’s emotions.
- Marcos is a bit of an awkward boy. As the middle child, he’s quite an anxious kid, but his mother is his favourite person in the world. He always feels a little bit out of place in the family and so gets on well with Mirabel and his father. His gift is the ability to turn invisible. Sometimes when he is surprised, he will turn invisible by accident. The triplets always try and get him to use his gift for mischief, boosting his confidence. But as older brothers, they also tease him a lot. His gift means he is always surprising his poor father, but Reme is the only person who knows when he’s there, invisible or not. When he’s older he wants to be a doctor like his Tia Julieta.
-Maria is a stubborn tomboy. As the youngest of five kids and the only girl, she is determined to be just as tough as her brothers. She is usually seen dressed almost identically to her father - ruana, shirt, and slacks. She will throw hands for any reason, but loves her family dearly. As someone who is also super responsible, she sometimes finds herself at odds with her mother and her absentmindedness. Her gift is the ability to control light, manifesting usually like sparkles. Think Jubilee from the Xmen. She thinks it’s embarrassing. Her favourite people are her father and Marcos.
8) Over the course of her life, Reme’s research room grows to an enormous size to accommodate all of her work, becoming even bigger than the library.
9) In winter, Reme’s old injury will always ache, no matter how much Julieta and her try to fix it, it’s just one of those things. A consequence of that day.
10)  Bruno ends up establishing a local theatre in the Encanto. It’s open-air for a few years until Pepa cried too many times at the performances, flooding the stage.  All of his children are excellent actors and writers, along with many of their cousins. Unfortunately, no matter how into it Reme gets, she cannot act. At all.
11)  Reme cannot sing. At all. She has a terrible singing voice. Over the course of her life, her dancing improves (as does Bruno’s because she refuses to practise with anyone else).
12)  Reme never takes on a particular role in the Encanto village – more maintains her role as an eccentric scientist and researcher, giving lectures in the Bruno’s theatre when it is not in use. People will occasionally come to her with problems that need sorting and she will do her best to help. She always takes time to visit the school as well, and take the kids on exciting field trips. In her older age, she becomes one of the teachers there – but she is a very bad example for the kids.

Currently imagining the Ashen Wolves putting on melodramatic rat telenovas from within Garreg Mach's sewers, Bruno Madrigal-style, and with every new "installment/episode" progressively getting new loyal and overly-invested listeners from above. It originally started out as the theatre kids and their teacher (read: Ferdinand, Dorothea, and Manuela), but their audience soon expanded to include the entirety of Garreg Mach, with people like Claude getting particularly invested in crafting fan theories for the possible twists in the upcoming episodes.

no because there’s something so hilarious about camilo going around and portraying bruno as this horrifying person who preys on peoples fear, only to meet him and see the most tired scrawny neurodivergent old man he’s ever seen and being like hmmm 🤔 i may have made an error in my judgment
i can imagine their first conversation just bruno going like .... “so..... it’s nice to finally meet you properly. sorry i was like . gone for years . but i’m back now !! and i’m ready to be a part of the family again kinda” and camilo, who just probably gave a bunch of children nightmares two days ago by shifting into bruno’s estranged little ass and pretending to hunt them for sport being like “haha yeah good to have you back 😁”

Encanto headcanon
Young Bruno was just like Camilo and you can’t change my mind
Both are creative theatre kids, Bruno with his absolutely self-made telenovelas, script, backgrounds, voiceover and all that. He himself said that his real gift was acting and Hernando’s proof. He’s actually very playful and likes to joke altough it can be often misunderstood as with Pepa’s wedding. When Felix or Augustin would come to visit he’d probably screamed “Julieta/Pepa your bofriend’s here” like Antonio in “We don’t talk about Bruno.
Probably as he grew up and became more of an outcast, always blamed for bad events he predicted he got more quiet and withdrawn, more stressed and cautious about the way he acts. But in “All of you” we can see that he still has this big personality within him when he lively explains the wedding situation and his body language completely changes from small, slight movements to much more expressive almost dance-like. Also as we all agreed that Bruno heard WDTAB, I love how after Camilo’s verse “ Okay, so we gonna talk about Bruno?” he immediately picks up, like it’s his cue, with “ Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno. I'll start, okay” and jumps in, twirlling around because that’s his moment to shine and finally talk about Bruno

I saw a post somewhere that this
Tumblr media
Could actually be Camilo as Bruno
And the more I think about it, the more it makes sense
For one thing, Bruno’s eyes only glow when he looks into the future, so why would they be glowing here if it was really him?
When Camilo is shown as Bruno
Tumblr media
His eyes are glowing but he’s obviously not looking into the future, because he can’t. But it makes for a scary picture so he shapeshifted with this look for effect
The fact that he’s bopping his head to the rhythm as well makes sense, as Camilo clearly looks like he’s enjoying the song and dance, whether he’s in his own form or the Scary Bruno form
Also, if it really was Camilo, I think it would be really good because it makes for a good transition to his part of the song
Tumblr media
He’s like “I can hear singing. What’s this? Were singing about Bruno?? Okay I’m gonna give my hot take... sEVEN FOOT FRAME R A T S ALONG HIS BACK-”
Though I don’t know if the ones below are Camilo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’d be a nice nod to Bruno if it actually was him sneaking out from the walls and overhearing
Though personally I think they are Camilo as well, simply because he would creep around for dramatic effect and slip in when he’s set the scene, or gotten into character so to speak

So Camilo is a theatre kid right?
Imagine Camilo performing Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen to his family, and Bruno just sits there like:
👁👄👁 That hit a lil too close to home...
