Does "Danganronpa: Atlantic Sorrow" haves death order? Would you make it as official fanfic? Because plot sounds cool!!!

Unfortunately, there is no death order and I really don’t feel like writing this seriously.

At most, I just have a series of disconnected plot points.

Romantic Tokomaru subplot.

Chihiro and Hiyoko having an Arei/Eden-esque relationship, with either Sayaka or Kaede being like Hiyoko’s new Mahiru-figure.

Kazuichi having envy for Leon that may or may not be a thinly-veiled gay crush.

Nagito still being every bit as Nagito as the original, willing to cause trouble for the sake of "extra credit" or "testing them".

Peko being the only one who knows the truth behind Shuichi's talent and the drama that results from it.

A possible friend group between the athletes (Chihiro, Kazuichi, Kaede, and Angie).

Leadership being divided between Kaede, Angie, and Nagito (until Nagito's inevitable reveal). After those events, Chihiro and Ryoma get their stints as leaders.

Trial-point-getting squad Komaru, Touko, and Nagito.

Alright!

So, like Galactic Melancholy, “Danganronpa: Atlantic Sorrow” is a talentswap fic with a mix of characters from the game! It takes place in a mysterious underwater facility, and is headed by a mysterious mermaid known as Monohina, heading by her crab and fish sidekicks.

The primary twist is that these talents are taken from Danganronpa Another and Danganronpa Another 2!

Our protagonist is Komaru Naegi, the Ultimate Pilot! Thanks to her having an Ultimate talent, I’d believe that she would be a far more confident person, without her losing that good ol’ Komaru charm. In spite of her hermbo energy, Komaru’s shocking moments of intelligence and craftiness could help her survive in the diametric opposite of the sky!

But she is not alone in her endeavors, for she also has the help of:

Toko Fukawa, the cowardly and distrusting Ultimate Police Officer as well as Komaru’s support, with a hidden free-spirited side!

Sayaka Maizono, the charismatic and cheery Ultimate Merchant/famous advertising personality with a million-dollar smile!

Leon Kuwata, the burnt-out prodigy Ultimate Actor who wants nothing more than to step out of the limelight and follow a different dream!

Chihiro Fujisaki, the timid yet superbly-kind-hearted Ultimate Cheerleader who wants nothing more than to assert himself as a real man!

Sakura Oogami, the wise and contemplative Ultimate Psychologist, who’s a firm believer in a healthy body equalling a healthy mind!

Kazuichi Souda, the Ultimate Billiards Player who wishes to reinvent himself as a tough assertive person, but can’t shake his natural cowardice!

Hiyoko Saionji, the cute-looking yet mean-spirited and competitive Ultimate Painter, who is the latest scion of an influential family of traditional artists!

Peko Pekoyama, the stoic Ultimate Journalist with an analytical mind and a pair of sharp eyes that no piece of information is able to evade!

Nagito Komaeda, the gentle yet self-deprecating Ultimate Professor whose soft baggy eyes and dorky demeanor belies a hidden “zealous” side.

Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Lawyer who is the definition of a “bunny-ears lawyer” and has mysterious delusions of being the “fangs of justice”.

Shuichi Saihara, a guilt-stricken young boy who refuses to share his Ultimate talent, claiming that he doesn’t deserve it and “failed” at it.

Kaede Akamatsu, the optimistic yet hard-headed Ultimate Boxer, whose muscular body belies a dorky love for shonen manga and cake!

Angie Yonaga, the class’s foreign exchange student and the Ultimate Soccer Player who has weird and forceful methods for promoting “teamwork”!

Gonta Gokuhara, the nature-loving Ultimate Guitarist who is big in both body and heart and wishes to share his “songs from forest family”.

Ryoma Hoshi, a former ex-convict who is currently the Ultimate Priest and wishes to find solace and atonement for his past deeds in the form of “God”.

Can this cast of characters successfully evade the grasping hands of death, or will despair force them down into even deeper depths?

DRDT Secret Switching: Upon learning about SS!Whit's work underneath the Spurlings, SS!Xander is determined to put a hit on these people, and make sure that SS!Whit would be able to properly rest and matchmake with a passion!

DRDT Roleswap AU: Teruko!Whit and J!Xander first interacted, when they've shown each other their motive weapons (J!Xander demonstrated his shooting skills). Next time they interacted, the rebel hid next to the matchmaker to get away from Arturo!Min, only to get threatened at scissor-point.

DRDT SEKAI AU: Xander and Whit have been best friends, ever since they met in their childhood years during their weekly piano lessons. Even if they've stopped going to these lessons, they both regularly attend and support each other's musical performances.

DRDT Beta AU: As a very logical person, Beta!Whit finds himself enraged by Beta!Xander's flagrant disregard for the established rules of the universe. For this reason, Beta!Xander just LOVES to push the matchmaker's buttons in particular, especially when it comes to trial screwing.

DRDT Wheel KG: Honestly, I'd imagine that their dynamic would be somewhat similar, if more developed, due to Xander's longer runtime.

Of course! I don’t mind! I always appreciate asks!

DRDT Secret Switching: Since having these two secrets have made them noticeably nicer and better people, they both do their best to care for the people around them. Whenever SS!David becomes too exhausted or overwhelmed to lead the group, SS!Teruko will always be right behind him to pick up the slack.

DRDT Roleswap AU: Although Whit!Teruko loves to mock and get on Hu!David’s nerves, she couldn’t help but have at least some respect for the fatherly motivational speaker (especially considering her backstory). There is similar respect on Hu!David’s end, even if he tends to regard Teruko as a walking safety hazard.

DRDT SEKAI AU: They only ever really interacted because of prompting from Ena!Arei, and it was hilarious watching the two of them putting up their polite fronts, while Ena!Arei is the only one who knows the truth about their personalities.

DRDT Beta AU: The protagonist and her support, they both try their best to keep the group from collapsing underneath their own hostility, a lot like a good-cop bad-cop deal. Beta!David has a surprising soft spot for Beta!Teruko, and would always be the first person to come jumping to her defense. He would be VERY tsundere about it though!

DRDT Wheel KG: To Teruko, David was little more than a Chapter 3 casuality meant to teach Xander a lesson about getting close to anyone.

Levi/Teruko Relationships (Part 3):

DRDT Secret Switch AU: While OG!Teruko tries to push people away, thanks to her background, SS!Teruko tries to keep her loved ones close to her and caring for them all the way. Upon learning of SS!Levi's secret, she only doubles down on his care for him. And for someone that wants nothing more than to move on from his past and be seen as strong and capable, the help can get a bit...patronizing.

DRDT Roleswap AU: Whit!Teruko and Rose!Levi's relationship is pretty neutral, with them barely interacting, apart from the occasional joke about Levi seeming very sleepy and lazy for someone as buff as him.

DRDT SEKAI AU: Akito!Teruko is actually a closeted MMJ fan, while Haruka!Levi has no idea who she is.

DRDT Beta AU: As much as Beta!Teruko appreciates someone who's mature (at times) and can offer good advice, she couldn't help but be concerned about the few instances of Levi mentioning his past, before immediately changing the subject.

DRDT Wheel KG: Since Teruko is the mastermind, she ultimately viewed Levi as little more than a bit character meant to die for shock value's sake. It's a shame that this trial blew her plans apart.

Halloween Trio Relationships (Part 2):

DRDT Secret Switch AU: Their relationship is practically non-existent. They all wish to keep their distance from others for different reasons: Veronika would rather dedicate herself to her studies, while both Arturo and Ace are harsh, hostile, and invasive around others.

DRDT Roleswap AU: The dynamic could best be described as Veronika!Ace being cursed, Ace!Veronika being scared witless, and Min!Arturo not wanting anything to do with either of them. Their primary bondings involve exercise, which is heaven for the athlete, and hell for the two shut-ins.

DRDT SEKAI AU: Ace and Arturo are groupmates, with the latter being a massive fan of the former both then and now. While he originally thought of Arturo as creepy and stupidly-determined, the idol fanatic managed to endear himself to Ace. As for Veronika, she is, surprisingly, a MMJ stan and regularly watches and comments their videos.

DRDT Beta AU: Beta!Ace and Beta!Arturo are casual buddies who just chill and hang out together (and possibly kiss/j). Beta!Veronika tried to join in the friend group, and they were willing to accept the socially-awkward girl into the group. So long as there are no horror movies. Arturo has a strong hatred of any kind of movies (especially ones with famous actors in them).

DRDT Wheel KG: As the first two casualties of the killing game, Arturo and Ace were little more than statistics in Veronika's eyes. Her eyes are on the "hero" (read: Nico).
