We used to see each other when we were at university. Back then we were like any ordinary couple. I couldn't imagine how I could stop loving him. And one day, I found out that he betrayed me. He sold my family's information to the Italians. So I... shot him.

Kinnporsche Fanfic Recs
In celebration of the 2 year anniversary, here is an avalanche of Kinn/Porsche fics that I've enjoyed. Painfully incomplete & posted in no particular order. My shipping interests are 100% focused on the K/P couple and that will be reflected in my list, sorry 😘.
Deep Like a Coastal Shelf by Lilla_Torg
(79,000 words) Green Arrow inspired AU. "After five years abroad, Kinn Theerapanyakul returns to find his city under siege by a vigilante known as the Phoenix."
Stain of Sun by Lilla_Torg
(78,000 words) Omega brothers Porsche (hacker) and Chay (grifter) team up to take down the Theerapanyakul crime family. Things do not go as planned. // This marries A/B/O with mutant powers. As long as you're not wholly opposed to Omegaverse, give it a chance. Every one of this author's long KPtS fics is a banger.
Pouring Down Crimson Fire by Lilla_Torg
(119,000 words) Sort of a mutant AU but honestly that underplays how fucking cool this fic is. “I think you know something about keeping secrets,” said Kinn. He flashed Porsche a pocket-ace smirk. “You’re mine. Say it.”
The boy he’d been fourteen years ago would have told him where to shove it. But Porsche had been around long enough to know that the mafia always won. Still, he looked around, searching for a way out, before giving up and turning back to Kinn, those black eyes awaiting his surrender.
“I’m yours,” he said.
a perpetual unscattering by concernedlily
(31,000 words) Canon-divergence AU. “Pissing in bottles behind a cocktail bar,” Kinn said. “But Pa gave him to me, so I’m stuck with him.” To a visibly furious Porsche he said, “You don’t know the minor family? Never come across any of them before?”
“How would I know the fucking minor family?” Porsche snapped.
what a tangled web we weave by fortunehasgivenup
(80,000 words) 1000 Nights inspired alternate universe, fantasy-historical Thailand. // After the betrayal of his first husband, King Anakinn Theerapanyakul vows to never love again. Once a week, he takes a new husband, a young man who will not live to see another dawn.
When a nobleman comes to find a young man to adopt and marry off to the king in place of his own son, Thee chooses Chay.
Faced with an outcome that he refuses to contemplate, Porsche steps in and takes Chay's place. He only has one request for the king - to be allowed to tell his brother one last bedtime story.
Burn Your Name Into My Skin by Everyforkedroad
(72,000 words) In which Kinn visits a high-end sex club and he & Porsche meet under the guise of anonymity for what should be a 1 night encounter. Except not only are they intensely drawn together... things are not what they seem.
Salt by ronandhermy
(49,000 words) Sweat stings because the salt is purifying. Porsche may be in high school but he is still a National Champion in Taekwondo and he catches the eye of the national team's newest sponsor: The Theerapanyakun Family. Alternate first meeting. Leans into the darkness of canon, read the tags and proceed w caution.
how do you like it, daddy by Baby_Droll
(28,000 words) "and ain't shit 'bout me cheap and ain't shit 'bout me free" - our lord and savior, florence millicent. kinn & porsche, and all the other pieces on their fucked up chess board. a sugar baby/daddy au with an omegaverse twist. // This is a dark reimagining alternate universe. Iconic toxic K/P fic.
two shots by Martynax
(81,000 words) AU, different first meeting. Porsche joined the armed forces & became a hired gun. // “So I’m supposed to end a mafia dispute?”
“Something like that,” he mutters, wondering if he’s making a mistake, revealing it to Porsche so soon. Nothing is set in stone, after all. But he has a gut feeling that the man appreciates honesty and simplicity much more than intrigue and schemes.
be the best you ever tasted by Martynax
(90,000 words) an AU where Porsche's life is shit so he shakes his perky little bum for strangers at a strip club and Kinn books him for a private show. Porsche doesn't fuck customers and shouldn't get associated with whatever grey business his boss is trying to run out of the club. But... you know how this is gonna go.
between the sheets by DasWarSchonKaputt
(70,000 words) “And who’s that?”
“Oh. That’s Porsche. He’s Khun Kinn’s live-in boytoy. He’s harmless, mostly. Just a pretty face.”
A boyfriend can go so many places a bodyguard can’t. As the threat of a potential leak in their security forces looms large, Khun Korn hatches a plot to place an added layer of protection around his heir presumptive. Enter Porsche, former bartender, current bodyguard, and reluctant fake boyfriend of Kinn Theerapanyakul.
Stumbling to the Edge by FireRisingOverTheHills
(51,000 words) Of the genre of KP fics where Kinn and Porsche meet-cute in a random bar encounter, instead of a meet-ugly, this one is my fav. I just really enjoy the Kinn PoV with his what?! is?! happening??? vibes as he finds himself irresistibly drawn to someone who doesn't fit neatly into defined roles.
"He makes this all seem like it’s perfectly normal and Kinn is helpless to do anything but go along with it."
Whatever Else that Touches You by technicallyverycowboy
(9,330 words) Tender established relationship and bisexual self discovery, post canon. // "No, it's fine." Porsche shifts to be a little less plastered against Kinn's side, straightens his shoulders and smooths out his jacket with great dignity. "The answer to your question is yes, I have really never been with any other men."  Porsche answers questions, asks some of his own, tries new things, and fills in the knowledge gaps of his own sexuality.
An Elegant Mechanism by Laughsalot3412
(87,000 words) A/B/O AU, Kim centric with some background K/P and dysfunctional brothers & cousin bonding. The only fic on this list that isn't K/P primary. //  "Kim was only an omega when he was luring people closer to his gun. No one had to give Kim a weapon. He was one.  (Kim's mission is to get close to Porchay Kittisawat. Chay is not a typical alpha. Kim is not a typical omega. Kim isn't having feelings and Chay is going to be so normal about all of this.)"
Love and Violence by thewayside
(9,500 words) Beautifully written, post ep 14. // "Love and violence have always been bedfellows for Kinn. Down to how his first proper relationship ended in a pool of blood. Porsche’s beauty might have drawn him in, but he knows in his gut that he met someone in kind that first night, blood coursing through their veins as the fight ended and Porsche led him onto a bike to a road he barely knew."
Burnished night, blood-soaked stars by The_Old_Astronomer
(13,000 words) Missing scene set between the end of episode 6 and the side story (pre-ep 7). Porsche fights to keep Kinn alive after the attack, and gradually realises how much the other man means to him.
Night Call by vesna (mrsronweasley)
(34,500 words) "On Kinn's birthday, Kinn is dragged by Tae and Time to a strip club, where he gets a private dance from a man who calls himself Jom. Kinn is smitten. Things spin out from there." Canon AU, where Porsche became a stripper because bartending wasn't paying enough.
NFWMB by vesna (mrsronweasley)
(18,700 words) There's a rushing in Kinn's ears, a noise he can't shake. It almost makes him miss the next thing Arm tells him. "He was supposed to check in, as per protocol, but—"  "But what," Kinn snaps. A headache is building behind one of his eyes.  Arm's eyes are wide right before he lowers them and says, "He hasn't been heard from in two and a half hours."  Or, post-canon Porsche is kidnapped. Kinn goes through it.
Caught Off Guard by Altered_Ego
(23,000 words) The one where Porsche is one of his escort's bodyguard. Alternate first meeting; Porsche took another path to support his brother.
the less i know the better by mslunita
(45,000 words) Bored Kinn joins Tinder in hopes of getting his rocks off with a different kind of guy, instead of the standard escorts. Porsche challenges him in just the right way. // Alternate first meeting. Basically their canon selves, but this is after Porsche has already had his bi awakening.
XXX curious STRAIGHT boy BEGS for COCK for the FIRST TIME XXX by mirrorofprinces
(35,000 words ) Porn industry AU. “Porsche is extremely close to signing. In fact, he has a final meeting with the execs on Monday morning. The only condition is that he wants to request his first partner, and it’s you.”  Kinn takes a long drink of his whiskey, sets the glass down, and runs his tongue over his teeth. “So you had to meet with me, urgently, to tell me that a beautiful boy wants me to fuck him, thinking I’d say no.” He drums his fingers on the bartop. “Which means there’s a catch.”
paint my kiss across your chest (your touch is like a happy pill) by darkknight
(16,000 words) Episode 8 era. "Porsche discovers different new ways of how good sex can feel, ways that would never even have crossed his mind before meeting Kinn."
quis custodiet ipsos custode by concernedlily
(8,600 words) Porsche being on dangerous missions and Kinn discovering he has Feelings About That. Missing scenes and Post Ep 14.
Wing of a Butterfly by Kalere
(320,000 words) Some years before the canon storyline, two young men have a random encounter at a bar. Their friendship changes everything. // The epic Porsche & Vegas friendship fic.

He’s living in a nightmare. Kim is certain of it. He doesn’t know why, or how, or even when it happened. But at some point he went to sleep and he never woke up again, even though he thought he did. There’s no other explanation for it.
What is “it”?
It is his ex-something laughing with his favorite cousin, and sending furtive looks his way like he knows Kim is watching. Like he wants Kim to watch. Macau looks painfully aware of the tension but is doing nothing to cut it. When Chay isn’t looking he does try to offer Kim an apologetic shrug, which Kim responds to with a shake of his head.
He gets up and leaves as soon as Tankhun gives him a chance. He is not doing this.
***
Kim isn’t surprised to get a call from Macau hours later. He thinks about not answering it. There’s been an irritated little itch under his skin since he saw them together, though, and he can’t quite scratch it.
He answers.
“Dude, it’s not what it looked like,” Macau says immediately.
“What did it look like?” Kim asks, because he’s an asshole when he’s feeling hurt.
“We’re not dating.”
“Do you want to?”
“No!”
Macau sounds pretty certain about that. He might also just think Kim would kill him if he said yes. Which, he wouldn’t. Probably. If he did, Kim would need a new favorite cousin, and Vegas really doesn’t meet his standards.
“I would be okay if you did,” he says carefully. He tries to sound like he means it.
“Ew, no, we’re like. Cousins.” Kim very carefully does not respond to that. Kinn and Porsche are ignoring… all of that, and Kim is following their lead. Not that it matters because he and Chay aren’t together anymore. “Sorry, dude.”
Before Kim can think better of it, he starts to ask, “Is Chay…”
“He’s doing okay. Mostly angry, at a lot of stuff. He, uh, he asked me to help make you jealous?”
Kim smiles at that. Chay isn’t totally ambivalent to him, then. Part of him still cares.
“And you agreed?”
“He didn’t really give me a choice? We were just hanging out and suddenly he saw you and then he was just. All over me. And he told me to go with it.”
“Why did you?” What he means: do you know what happened?
“I already got the full story from Chay.” Kim doubts that, when not even Chay had the full story. Then again, he’s smart, maybe he got it all figured out on his own. “He made it sound pretty bad. And he’s my friend, y’know? My only real friend, so I was, I dunno, trying to be supportive.”
“You’re a good friend.”
“You’re a terrible boyfriend.”
That startles a laugh out of Kim.
“I know.”
“He still misses you, though. He won’t admit it, but he does.”
And it’s only because this is Macau that Kim quietly admits, “I miss him, too.”
“... Okay, here’s what we’re going to do.”
“About what?”
“About getting you two back together, duh. Because I’m a good friend and you suck as a boyfriend and clearly you both need help. So, are you in?”
“... What do you have in mind?”

One of the things I feel like KinnPorsche the Series does so well that not enough people talk about is giving its queer viewers a story that's shelter from societal homophobia.
I want to emphasize that this is not the same as telling a story in which people live in an idealized world where homophobia doesn't exist.
I've seen a few people mention that characters or couples dealing with homophobia is often not a part of Thai BL. I really appreciate that as a queer person who consumes media.
But KinnPorsche does something slightly different.
It's not that homophobia doesn't exist in the world of KinnPorsche. We know it does, with the snide remark about gelato Don made to Kinn in episode 1, in the way that Porsche-sans-gaydar told off Big for being close minded with Kinn beaming out of sight, in the way Porsche was bashful about revealing to his work/adopted mother his self-realization of bisexuality through falling in love with Kinn and Yok specifically affirming that love is love, with the way Porsche felt a moment of self consciousness holding his boyfriend's hand in public on the date he planned.
We know homophobia exists in the periphery of the world Kinn and Porsche and all these characters live in. But what the narrative chose to tell us instead is: we are not going to let that affect the way we show how these people fall in love and love each other.
It's not an idealized version of the world where homophobia doesn't exist; sadly I don't think we'll get there in my lifetime. But I'm also sick of stories like that. That has the same teeth as "it's not a gay love story, it's a love story about two people."
Well fuck that. These characters are queer and I'm here because I'm queer, and I want a queer love story. And sometimes that means the shadow of societal homophobia looming in the background.
What's beautiful about KinnPorsche is that it says in response to that: these characters are queer characters. They don't "just happen" to love someone of the same gender.
But in this story, you get to see them love without the shadow of what haunts queer people in real life. You don't have to be worried, we'll protect you from that. And that is something I haven't gotten from another queer media before.
So when queer people say they feel loved back by the KPTS production, I think that's often what they mean without quite being able to put their finger on it. It's acknowledging the weight of our reality without forcing us to once again bear it alongside the characters. And how much more loving can a story be than that?

I'm way too lazy to copy that Marvel What If font rn but...what if
What if Korn took Nampheung, not out of obsession or some freaky desire to attic wife her, but to please his father? I think it’s pretty much a given that his recitation of the shooting events is a lie and that Gun’s is closer to the truth.
In both versions, though, they are there trying to persuade Nampheung to come home again because their dad is insisting. I’m guessing that since Nampheung has yet another son, their father is ready for her to come back into the fold, bringing her kids with her. Korn kills her husband, obviously to get him out of the way. But I think that he didn’t want even more competition against his own sons for a place in the family. Vegas and Macau were enough. So he brings her and leaves Porsche and Chay behind.
And then he tells his father the same story he told Gun, but in reverse. Gun freaked out. Gun killed Ted. Gun killed Porsche and Chay because he’s obsessed with Nampheung. Gun tried to rape her. Keep her locked away and safe from Gun. It’s enough to make Gun completely lose favor with his father. Nampheung either tries to kill herself because she thinks her sons are dead as well, or Korn just keeps her drugged up. Now he’s eliminated both rivals for the head of the family in one fell swoop. After his father dies, he keeps her because why not? She’s completely under his control and someday he might need her as a weapon/hostage (turns out he does).
What if Porsche is actually Gun’s son? Gun doesn’t know it, Nampheung didn’t tell him — I’m thinking one night of passion and her realizing that is she was with him, she’d never escape the Mafia life, or they knew their dad would never allow it. So she just ran off with Pat, who married her to protect her and the baby (maybe he was already in love with her, maybe they fell in love later.) But Korn knows it or at least he’s pretty sure of it. It would explain his interest in Porsche but not Chay, who would presumably be more malleable for Korn’s needs. (I know people have explored this possibility in way more depth than I can).
Yes, I know that would make Porsche and Kinn actual cousins, but look, I’m watching a show where a severed head in a box is considered a gift, and a torture raincoat standard equipment. Every romantic relationship on this show is ignoring the guy on the ship waving blood-red semaphore flags in frantic “danger, Will Robinson” messages. I promise you, my line is not a consensual romantic relationship between two blood-related adults who didn’t even grow up together.
TBH, I’m just throwing this out here because I want Porsche and Vegas and Macau and Chay to have to navigate an enemies-to-brothers relationship. Porsche and Vegas, two men conditioned to love and protect their brothers, having to deal with their super awkward relationship. Chay and Macau, both used to being the adored baby brother, unable to stifle their resentment and confusion. Heck, they’re still babies, so send them off to camp together so we can have a Parent Trap type bonding situation. Y’all I just want one of those cheesy 80s, defensive “that’s my brother!” moments.
What if Porsche becoming Tankhun’s bodyguard was meant to be a test by both Khun and Korn as well as taking Porsche off of the hot seat for a minute? Korn brings Porsche in, is delighted by his moxie, puts him on the board as an actual player, and then he’s just a disaster who almost gets himself killed by the Minor Family. So, letting him be Tankhun’s bodyguard got him out of the spotlight for a minute, long enough for the Minor family to move on to other grudges. And it was a test to see if he had any ambition, any edge at all. That’s why Korn does not want him to guard anybody else when Porsche suggests it. He passed the test and needs to stay in play.
Khun sees Kinn’s interest in Porsche. After all, Kinn comes personally to rescue Porsche from his fish-killing punishment. Switching Pete and Porsche protects him from Minor family retaliation(because come on, do we really think that Vegas was gonna let that go? If he hadn’t wanted to use Porsche, he would absolutely have gotten revenge.) It also gives Khun a chance to study Porsche and see if he’s worthy of Kinn’s attention. When he decides he is, he nudges him back toward Kinn ...mentioning the meeting, telling him that Kinn said he was useless and would get killed, eventually “giving” him back to Kinn with the flimsiest excuse.
@iamcon-fu-sion mentions some of these ideas about the bodyguard situation in their KP rewatch and I was so happy to see that because I constantly think I’m over analysing everything about this show(I mean I’m not gonna stop though).
What if Ken wasn’t the original mole? What if it was a lower-level bodyguard, and he didn’t betray the main family until Porsche came onto the scene? Maybe he’d already turned down the offer before. Then Big gets hurt and Porsche comes along out of nowhere. By rights, Ken should have moved into Big’s spot, but Porsche stops that, humiliating them in the process. Porsche continually fucks up and yet still fails upward. Sure, they made fun of him being Tankhun’s bodyguard, but realistically, Tankhun has the best bodyguards they have other than Big and Ken.
Arm and Pete are constantly pulled into other missions because they’re so valuable and talented. Maybe no one wants the job, but it’s still one of the most high-ranking. Then, when Ken does get the head bodyguard job, it’s yanked back out from under him. He has no idea that Porsche is getting all kinds of nepo baby/sugar baby privileges, but whatever is going on is enough to leave him bitter, angry, and betrayed enough to go over to the minor family.
editing this because where did I get Ted for the Kittisawasd dad? I ...have no idea.

Progression, Chapter 21: Preview
“Would you like me to call Pete?”
“No!” Tankhun says, feeling a buzzing, hurt rage in his head as he updates his Instagram feed. Again. Still no pictures or announcements.
“Why haven't they posted anything?!” he says, tossing his phone to the side, “Pete just posted the kittens yesterday! Vegas posted a story of Pete helping him cook breakfast with a heart as the caption this morning! Where’s the baby? Vegas was NOT holding some doll in the cemetery, and he referred to Pete as Papa!”
“Maybe they adopted her and it isn't finalized yet,” Arm says gently, “Or maybe they are fostering her and can't post pictures. We don't know the situation, which is why I am offering to call and ask Pete for clarification. We talk to him pretty regularly, and I don't see him keeping this from us unless he had a reason.”
“The reason is Vegas,” Tankhun mutters, “He probably told Pete to not tell us. He's rude like that.”
Arm lets out a sigh and takes his hand, “Tankhun. You have been worried sick about Vegas the last few nights-”
“Lies!”
“You said you thought Douglas hurt him too, and then you have been blaming yourself ever since,” Arm continues, “Why don't you…talk to him?”
Tankhun stares at his deranged boyfriend incredulously, “Absolutely not.”
“You said you used to babysit him a lot,” Arm says quietly, “And when you made a mad dash out of the safe room to get to me during the attack-”
“To save you, which I did!”
“You crossed paths with him, and he left you alone,” Arm says, “And when we found out about him getting shot, you broke down and cried.”
“Hmph!” Tankhun says, because it is much more preferable than admitting Arm is telling the truth.
“He's been the main thing keeping you from actually hanging out with Pete in person, but he never stopped it from happening the few times it has occurred,” Arm says, now massaging his hand, “He seems to be very content out of the business as well, and you just found out you, Kinn, and Kim may share an abuser with him-”
“We don't know if that's true,” Tankhun says, feeling his voice grow hoarse, “He may have just had to pee.”
Arm breathes out, “...And he just so happened to drive out of his way to a cemetery to pee on the freshly dug grave of a man associated with your family?”
“...Fine. That is far-fetched,” Tankhun says, “Maybe it was a witchcraft ritual, and that is why he was so okay with us holding a fake seancé. Vegas had a fixation on witchcraft when he was eight! I still think he likes the aesthetic, to be honest, but when he was little? He and I would be dark witches, and Kim would be a nice witch. That's all he would play for a while. Uncle Gun hated it, but Auntie Milan thought it was funny, especially when Vegas made a Ouija Board and we insulted our stupid, dead grandfather through it because we both hated him-”
“Tankhun,” Arm cuts in, “You're doing it again.”
Tankhun tilts his head at that, “What do you mean?”
“Talking about your cousin with fondness.”
“I did no such thing!” Tankhun says with a gasp.
“Lies,” Arm says simply, and that is true, but still!
“Will you be okay with never knowing for sure if Douglas hurt him?” Arm asks, “Because I would understand if that is the case. There is a lot of bad blood, and the feud your father had with your uncle strained things between you and your cousins. If you want to keep your distance, I will support you. But I thought…I don't know. We have been together long enough-”
“Two years in a little over a month,” Tankhun reminds him.
“It's coming up very soon,” Arm says, a small smile forming on his lips, “You have opened up to me a lot during that time. More than you ever did when I was just your friend and your guard. So I know enough to know that at one point, you really cared about Vegas. Loved him, even. And when we found out about Namphueng, you told me you wondered if we had fought for the right side.”
Tankhun looks away at that, “...I felt that way because Pa faked his death, let us mourn him, and got people killed. And because Kinn told me Pa kept Namphueng locked in a room and away from her sons. I also felt that way because he told me Uncle Gun saw her and cried, which wasn't like him. Uncle Gun wasn't good either. He became despicable too. But he wasn't evil enough to lock a woman up in a room and keep her from her family for years, let alone medicate her with...whatever she was being given."
Arm says nothing, and Tankhun understands. No answer Arm can give will be a good one. If he defends Pa, it undermines everything horrible he did, and how many lives were ruined or ended because of him. If he sides with Uncle Gun and Vegas, then it would ignore the fact that several of his coworkers died by their hands.
But there is no denying Pa is the one who set it in motion, regardless of what happened to any of them. He and Kinn were just expected to fight for their lives until Pa thought it was appropriate to make himself known, and they just went along with it because that was all they knew.
And when he thinks about it that way, he supposes Vegas was in a similar situation and trying to meet his own father’s horrible expectations, that he was groomed by him, just like Pa tried his best to groom his own sons, albeit in a different way.
Just like he might have been groomed by Douglas like Kinn was.
Just like Vegas may have been threatened or hurt by Douglas like he and Kim were.
“Ugh, I'm mad at you!” Tankhun says, jumping to his feet to glare down at Arm, “I don't want to talk to you for the entire night!”
Arm’s entire face drops, “Khun-”
“The entire night! You can sleep on the couch!” Tankhun reiterates, then storms off to his room and slams the door behind him. He shuts his eyes and tries to stick to his resolve. How dare Arm make him overthink their strained family ties? He is supposed to be on his side! Also, it makes no sense for Arm to encourage him to reach out, even if Vegas had been hurt. Vegas hurt and killed several of their guards. They may not have been guards Arm was close with, but they were allies and their lives meant something.
Even though Pa clearly felt differently, since he triggered the whole attack purposely.
Arm is so annoying! If he weren’t so smart, compassionate, gorgeous, and incredible, Tankhun would be DONE.
Although, Tankhun supposes he has made mistakes of his own in the past. Arm has just taken them in stride, or sometimes worked with him on the occasions Tankhun expressed he would like to change the way he reacts to certain triggers.
But that doesn't make him less annoying! Arm is supposed to be aligned with HIM, with Pol coming in second because Arm loves Pol as a brother and Tankhun loves Pol too.
Just like they love Pete. And Pete is with Vegas, which makes that relationship strained because their relationship with Vegas is strained. And now, Pete and Vegas have a baby, and Pete hasn't said a word. That's probably because a baby binds him and Vegas together forever, and that means Pete will never leave Vegas.
Especially if Vegas actually treats him well and truly makes Pete happy.
Ew!
“What are you still doing on the couch?” Tankhun asks sullenly as soon as he opens the door again.
Arm meets his eyes and lets out a sigh, “I did pace for a little while and hover my fist over the door. But I wanted to give you space if you needed it.”
“No,” Tankhun says, lightly stomping his foot, “I want you in here.”
“Ah,” Arm says, standing up, “I must have misunderstood.”
Tankhun nods once in agreement, then leads Arm to his bed so they can both sit down.
Their bed. Arm stays here more than enough for this to be their bed.
“I can understand your concerning willingness to make up with Vegas,” Tankhun says, “You just found out one of your best friends is raising a baby with him. Of course you would like to extend an olive branch. Of course you would like to hang out with Pete in person a lot more. I get it, because…because I want those things too. It's just hard.”
“I know.”
“And…” Tankhun continues, swallowing the sudden lump in his throat, “The thought of getting Vegas’s confirmation that Douglas hurt him upsets me. I used to babysit him when he was younger. I used to adore him, and I know there is no point in denying that. So if he admits Douglas hurt him too, that means I failed him as well, and I don't know if I can handle that.”
Arm puts his hand on his back and rubs it, “Would you be able to handle never getting a confirmation, always wondering, and just continuing to have weekly FaceTime chats with Pete? Or is that preferred over finding out what Vegas went through and possibly...mending things? I don't know if that's possible, but it might be a step in the right direction if the issue is thought out and approached in the right way.”
Tankhun thinks on it, then breathes out, “I think it should be Kinn who reaches out. That would be the best way to go about this.”
Arm looks slightly startled by that, “But he hates Kinn the most-”
“But Kinn was also hurt by Douglas the most,” Tankhun interrupts, “And if Douglas actually managed to hurt Vegas, he may be bitter over the fact that Kim and I fought back and managed to get out of whatever Douglas planned to do to us. And if he got away from Douglas like we did, I…As much as he resents Kinn, I can't see him being happy about a fourteen year boy being sexually assaulted. I can't even see him being happy that Kinn went through something like that, because at one point, he loved Kinn.”
“...Do you think Kinn would be willing to admit that to him?” Arm asks.
“I don't know,” Tankhun groans, “Probably not. But Porsche is in contact with Pete and Vegas and visits them. Maybe he can help set up and facilitate a conversation like that. I just…Fuck, Arm! You are SO annoying!”
“You have said that before,” Arm acknowledges as Tankhun pulls out his phone. He sets up a group chat with Kinn, Porsche, and Kim before adding Chay at the last minute. Chay games with Macau and talks with him. Maybe that connection could provide a backup plan that Tankhun doesn't fully have formed in his head yet.
But regardless…
Tankhun: I need to have an important meeting with the four of you. Kim, Chay, I know you two have been working on music all day, but please take a short break. I hope we can come to a decision about this and move forward with my plan within the next couple of days.
Kim: What is this about?
Porsche: It sounds serious. There are no emojis.

Kim: You never even use any of those.
Tankhun: That's because I need to have a serious conversation with all of you. Come here. Now. Kinn, you too.
Kinn: Is everything okay?
Chay: What do you want to talk about?
Tankhun takes a moment, then types one word.
Tankhun: Vegas.

Rating KinnPorsche ghost ships:
PetePorsche - 10/10
Tumblr media
Adorable, amazing, brilliant, showstopping, spectacular! Best friend to lovers to soulmates for the win. Really pure ship. What else is there to say? Pete and Porsche will sneak away on little dates, mostly to eat and smoke. They will be partners in crime to all sorts of crazy ideas. Pete will definitely go and open a restaurant by the beach with Porsche. Pete and Chay will be best friends. Chay will also have to be the mom of the group because the other two morons don’t know what self preservation is. Pete’s grandma will be so happy that Pete has found such strong and beautiful boyfriend, she will start sending food to feed a small army claiming Porsche and Chay need to grow even stronger.
MacauChay - 7/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Love them! I really do! But those little gremlins will kill each other if they date. I see why people ship them. They’re both from a broken family with only one brother to rely on. They’re both trapped in their circumstances and may find comfort and understanding in one another. They will absolutely hate each other at first, though.
ChanBig - 10/10
Tumblr media
Did someone said Daddy Chan? I think we all saw that scene in ep1 and we collectively went - yep, they fuck. It’s the way Chan has all the power, the way Big doesn’t want to disappoint him. My daddy issues could never. It’s their power dynamic, it’s Big refusing to look at Chan’s eyes, it’s Chan being firm but gentle. I don’t need to say anything more, there are already amazingly slutty fanfics about them.
VegasTay - 10/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This ship gets bonus points for the aesthetics alone, they are both gorgeously styled. I can see it happening as a one night stand. When Tay has finally had enough of Time’s bullshit, he goes to a club and sees Vegas there. Tay is ready to make some bad decisions. Vegas on the other hand has no idea what is happening, but one of Kinn’s best friends is flirting with him and he’ll be a fool to miss that opportunity. Vegas wrecks Tay’s world that night. Tay tells him he can leave marks. Vegas knows that his definition of “marks” is different from most so he controls himself. It will be so much more satisfying if Kinn’s friend does not regret this in the morning. Afterwards Tay tells the story of his shitty relationship and Vegas suggest murdering Time. Tay should have found that calm statement frightening, but he didn’t. He actually found it quite funny. Having his friend’s hot psycho cousin care more about his feelings than his actual boyfriend. Tay suggests doing that again, gathers his things and leaves. Vegas doesn’t know why he never told anybody about that night, maybe he forgot.
ArmKhun - 8/10
Tumblr media
I’m taking points out because of the power imbalance and I’m giving points back because of the aesthetic. Diva Khun and Bodyguard Arm! Yes, give me more. The scene of them fighting the minor family with Arm’s car-bombs which were bedazzled in gems by Khun is what sealed the deal for me. They are an amazing team. Khun is such a fun and crazy character and I would like to see him in a more serious situation. What if he gets a gun pointed at him and goes into a ptsd episode while Arm has to be the best bodyguard and protect him but also later calm him down. The crack but also angst potential is astonishing.
KenBig - 6/10
Tumblr media
Someone said they are the Mean Girls of KinnPorsche and it hasn’t left my mind since. Yes they are! Them just gossiping around and making everyone’s life miserable, love to see it. Don’t know if I can see them as something more serious than fuck buddies but I see the angst potential of both of them dying without knowing about what happened to the other.
ArmPorsche - 7/10
Tumblr media
I’m seeing this starting as one sided love because notice how Arm looks at Porsche, that boy is in loooove! He was ready to go against his boss just to help Porsche. If Kinn was actually cheating on Porsche, those two boys would be game.
KinnPete - 6/10
Tumblr media
Pretty sure this ship became famous after VegasPorsche left KinnPete in the dust in that alley. I can’t see this ship working, surprisingly because Kinn is a cinnamon roll when he’s in love and Pete is a psycho when he’s in love. But there is something really homoerotic about Kinn having trust issues and Pete being the only one he trust unconditionally. I can see it if the story takes a “dead dove do not eat” approach. With Porsche betraying Kinn and Kinn turning dark, and Vegas betraying Pete and Pete turning desperate.

I'm clearing out my fic rambles of things that I wrote that might have been things but probably won't be (at least for a while). I just need them out of my brain space so I can focus on the important stuff.
the memories of you, t/m?, 2k. Older Porsche/younger Kinn. A prologue I guess? It traces to the point at which the hypothetical story would start.
(Heads up, there is ten years' difference and they meet when Kinn is thirteen. nothing underage happens.)
Porsche has worked for the Theerapanyakul family a long time and even amongst all of those years, his loyalty has only ever been to the one who picked him up off the street, bloodied and broken in too many places, and told him he would help him take care of his brother. P’Chan had been his hero in more ways than one, but unfortunately, it’s been almost as many years since Porsche stood at the bottom of P'Chan's open grave and said his goodbyes to his mentor, replacing him as the head of security. Now pushing thirty-seven, he’s got the greys and the body aches that come with the life he’s lived.
He also knows that in and amongst all of it, he was little Kinn Theerapanyakul’s first love. Introduced at twenty-three to his charge’s younger brother, a pale little thirteen-year-old with braces and a bright smile, Porsche found him endearing in his openness. He never said a single word to Porsche for months but his eyes would always light up when Porsche walked into a room and he was distinctly quiet during their training sessions when Porsche would peel off his sweaty vest and wipe his face with it. More than once, Kinn had disappeared with a flushed face and an awkward boner passed off as needing to finish his homework. Porsche left him be because he was harmless. His crush made him interested in things he was not natural to, like gunmanship and knife fighting.
“You need to be as good a shot with your left as your right, Kinn,” Porsche bit his tongue not to call him, Little Dragon, his pet name for Kinn when they first met. Small, but fierce.
Kinn wasn’t a natural, but he was outstanding. And puberty finally blessed him. It cleared up his skin, and with his braces off, his winning smile became blinding. He was still a little scrawny as a teen so Porsche frequently had Nya, the compound chef, cook him up some more chicken and eggs which he tried to push off.
“I can’t eat anymore,” Kinn groused as he rubbed his little belly full of food.
“You need protein to rebuild your muscles. Can’t get strong on rice and salad,” Porsche reminded him.
“You don’t even eat this much,” Kinn whined and Porsche smiled.
“I’m not built to be a heavyweight. You could pack on some serious muscle if you wanted to, Little Dragon.”
Kinn flushes, “Don’t call me that.”
“Why, ‘cause it’s cute?” Porsche teased him, “You are the littlest dragon. Maybe one day you'll grow—”
“I’m grown,” Kinn volleyed with conviction and Porsche stopped because there was an iron to it that he’s never heard from Kinn.
“Are you now?” Porsche replied to ease the tension. “You won’t mind if we do ten proper rounds tomorrow then.”
Kinn exhaled because he’s bought himself a world of pain, but Porsche ruffled his hair, “Don’t be in such a hurry, Kinn, growing up is the worst thing you can do.”
Porsche had watched him grow and become a young man and he was proud. It was an awful day when Khun Korn had set his succession on Kinn’s still too slim shoulders. He smiled like he was grateful and honored, but Porsche watched as the light dimmed from his eyes. He was only eighteen. His ‘adulthood’ had coincided with a changing of mantles. No longer was Tankhun the heir to the family business, it was now Kinn, with all the knowledge that Porsche taught him and then some.
“Did you know?” Kinn breathed as they stood out on his suite balcony.
“I did,” Porsche told him honestly. He knew his work would transition from one heir to the other.
“Fuck you,” Kinn spat at him and Porsche accepted it with a shrug.
Kinn pushed him and said it again and Porsche did nothing to defend himself.
Porsche grabbed still thin wrists and pulled Kinn into him for the hug he didn’t get from his father, “You’re going to be okay; I promise, I’ll take care of you.”
Kinn sobbed for the life he would never have only once, buried in Porsche’s shoulder as he stroked his hair and rubbed his back.
Porsche cupped Kinn’s face when he emerged, puffy and red, and rubbed his cheeks with his thumbs, “There you go.”
Kinn has big brown eyes under thick eyebrows and they made Porsche smile and he stroked his hand over Kinn’s face. The air shifts and Kinn’s hands gripped tighter on Porsche’s waist.
Porsche was about to stop him when Kinn looked down at his lips, “Just once?”
Their dynamic was about to change completely. Porsche would stop being his teacher and shift into his bodyguard, his humor replaced by a list of requirements to ensure Kinn’s safety. They would never be Porsche and Little Dragon again.
In a way, Kinn now in a way looks exactly like the boy he met five years ago, but he’s also a man and Porsche understood him perfectly. He wanted a memory to hold onto. Porsche isn’t so cruel as to deny him that.
“Just once.” Because it’s stupid, irrational, and likely to get him fired and lose everything.
Porsche tipped Kinn’s face up by his chin and sealed his lips over Kinn’s. Kinn sighed and relaxed like it drained all the unhappiness away from him. He fumbles a bit as he opened his mouth and tried to tease Porsche, but it was clumsy, so Porsche worked with him, gentling him and pushing his tongue into Kinn’s mouth as he tugged on Porsche’s hips to bring him in closer. Teaching him as he had always taught him. And then Porsche could feel him pressing hard against his thigh as he licked Kinn’s soft palate and dragged his tongue over Kinn’s before he let them part with a slow kiss against Kinn’s lips. Kinn trembled and Porsche silently folded that up into himself because it was beautiful.
Kinn looked at him with a dazed expression and his lips were red.
“I’ll report to you 7 am sharp tomorrow, Khun Kinn.”
It’s a simple sentence, but it destroyed everything. Porsche was reassigned to Khun as if nothing had changed and Kinn disappeared to study abroad. Porsche only ever heard from him to have weekly updates via teleconference, no video, to keep him in the loop on his brother’s progress. It was as if Porsche was being held away by the length of an invisible stick and Kinn would not let him any closer.
He knows now that wasn’t the end, but it was the beginning of the end. The true end had come at when Kinn was twenty-three and he had come back from school and his year abroad in France, strong and more defined in himself and even more set on his feelings. Confronted with a man who knew what he wanted Porsche struggled to keep the line between them. Kinn wasn’t a child and he wouldn’t be contained.
“Porsche,” Kinn called him over and he walked up to the front of Kinn’s desk. He bowed politely and Kinn pressed his hands together under his chin, the rain a distant sound that prickled between them. “You were wounded on the last excursion.”
He had some fantastic bruising and there is a tense moment between them where Kinn expected him to raise his shirt and he did not.
“I appreciate your concern, Khun, but it’s nothing to fret over,” Porsche immediately realized he had set Kinn off. A rookie error.
“I don’t need you to define what my concerns are,” Kinn scolded him. “If my family is to remain protected you had best be up to the job and to prove it.”
Kinn motioned for Porsche to come and stand before him as he turned his chair away from his desk to make space for Porsche in front of him.
Porsche complied to save a fight and unbuttoned his suit vest, stripped it off and then his shirt. The biggest bruise bloomed ugly on his waist and up onto his ribs. It looked and felt like he had been hit with a boulder. Kinn’s fingers reached out and hovered over touching him. Porsche also realized that he’s softer in places than Kinn remembered, Porsche’s want and willingness to lean and hone his body had taken somewhat of a backseat due to his lessened workload. He’s still cut and his stomach ripples as he turns away from Kinn, but there is a soft overlay that cushions his stomach as Kinn grasps him and holds him by the pained part of his side.
“Ow,” Porsche can’t help it, and perversely, Kinn digs into it harder. Porsche pushes him off and Kinn grabs the back of his thigh and Porsche stumbles into him. Kinn hooks his hands around Porsche’s thighs and somehow hikes him up onto his lap in the chair.
Porsche is left to look down at Kinn, his thighs on either side of Kinn’s as Kinn held his hips, eyes trained on his bruise. He asked Porsche, “Did you kill them?”
“Of course, I killed them. They could have harmed the family.”
Kinn ducked and pressed his forehead against Porsche’s bare chest, “The family.”
Porsche yelped as strong fingers dig into his rear and he tried to pry Kinn loose, “Khun—”
“Fuck you,” Kinn told him once again, those big brown eyes coming up to scorn him. One hand loosens and grabbed Porsche by the back of the neck and yanked him down to press him against Kinn’s mouth. Unlike the clumsy eighteen-year-old, Kinn at twenty-three had practiced, and he stole Porsche’s breath away as he consumed him, tongue demanding entrance into his mouth, doing anything, including jabbing Porsche’s bruise to get it. Porsche gasped, startled and Kinn was inside. His grip meant that Porsche couldn’t go anywhere, he was left pinned as Kinn leaned up into him and repeated back to him the same kiss he was given when they kissed last, but it was not the same. It was not humble or kind. Kinn owned him and left him wrought and raw, breath heavy as Kinn finally let him go.
Porsche was about to speak, to curb the insanity, when Kinn hauls him up with strong, stronger than Porsche remembers, arms and carries him towards the bedroom. Porsche pushed at him, “Kinn.”
“I’m a better fuck than half the guys you’ve been with. If not, I’ll never say another word.”
Porsche should have ended it, but he didn’t. He could make infinite excuses: he was weak, he was lonely, it had been a long time, and Kinn was there. The only one that was true was that in that moment, Porsche wanted him. He forgot about the history, he forgot about his place in it all and he simply wanted the gorgeous man in front of him who made him feel special because five years had passed and Porsche was still at the forefront of his mind. Because it was Kinn.
He still remembers how he cried out when he came, shameless, and Kinn crowing victoriously he wrapped his fingers around Porsche’s throat to hold him back to Kinn’s chest. The window Kinn pressed him into was cold and his legs ached but his body shivered hotly. He mewled and shook and it was exhilarating and embarrassing because Kinn was right. He was a better lay, and within an afternoon, ten years of respect went down the drain. Not respect for Kinn, Porsche’s self-respect because Kinn was his charge, even when he wasn’t, and Porsche couldn’t keep it, or his legs, together.
Maybe Kinn thought that if they slept together things would change. Porsche would change. But he didn’t. He showered and dressed and he presented himself to Kinn’s bedraggled hair and sleep-rumpled face.
“You have a meeting at 10 am, Khun Kinn.”
Kinn glares at him, “You’re fired.”
Porsche nods, “Of course.”
His father put Porsche on Khun’s detail far away from Kinn until he left for a business trip that was supposed to last six months but it ended up being three years.
Porsche figures they must have it under control by this point so that when he greets Kinn now, it can be as his true guide and mentor.
Kinn gets out of his Maserati but the passenger side door also swings open and a man, a little older than Kinn but younger than Porsche, gets out with a wide, almost smarmy, smile.
Pete nudges him in the side, “That’s Khun Kinn’s boyfriend, right?”
Porsche has no idea, “I think so.”
“When he said he was bringing him home, I didn’t think he’d go through with it,” Pete murmurs but Porsche has Kinn pinned with a look. He doesn’t know what his face is saying but Kinn is staring back at him just as hard.
Pete reaches out first with a bow, “Khun Kinn.”
“Pete, Tawan, Pete is part of my brother’s detail under Porsche,” Kinn gestures to Porsche.
Porsche doesn’t bow, “I serve as the head of security under Khun Kinn’s employ.”
He lets his gaze slide over to Tawan, “You’ll understand if we have to make some adjustments while you stay here.”
His voice is thin and tight and Kinn barely conceals his glare. Porsche doesn’t care, Tawan seems none the wiser, “That seems reasonable, it was a very abrupt visit after all. I’ve been bugging Kinn to meet his family for months.”
Months. They were fucking the last time Kinn came home and Kinn looks at him while he makes the calculation. Not that he should even have to, Kinn isn’t his boyfriend or even his fuck buddy. He’s pretty sure Kinn has a detailed list about that rather than informing his head of security that he’s bringing an unvetted individual to the compound.
“There’s no problem, is there, Porsche?” Kinn smiles but it’s vacant and he wraps his hand around Tawan’s wrist like a shackle. Porsche eyes his hand and then looks at his face, “Why would there be?”

VEGASPETE FIC RECS | SEASON 1
Thank you @kprecfest for making me finally start putting together all the vp rec lists I’ve been planning! (And also just in general, let me say it again, what a fantastic idea I love you.) There are so many amazing fics in this fandom, but let’s start with canon compliant fics set during season 1, including everything except the post-credits scene, which will be a separate list.
Package of a Person by @kat8porgs (E, 2.4k) Pete gets put in the vase's box for shipping to the safe house.
Drowning, and other Metaphors by lewdhandholding (E, 8k) Vegas has never experienced an afterglow that burns like an oil fire, a sudden and dangerous thing that he can’t quite remember how best to put out past the panic. It doesn’t help that Pete’s smile is like a torrent of cool water on his feverish skin, making the flames jump higher. It makes Vegas want to do something dangerous that he’s never really been good at before – it makes him want to take care of Pete. Problem is, he doesn’t really know how.
i want it all by devoutpete (E, 5k) “It’s too hot…” Pete repeated. He wanted to cry. This was taking too long. When their eyes met again, Vegas smiled. It was almost…sweet. “I told you already,” without warning, he poked the blade into Pete’s skin, red peeking from the puncture. “You’re hot because,” he carried on with a sudden, slow drag of the blade spanning a few inches, “It’s inside of you.” — Vegas was sick of Pete's inhibitions getting in the way, but he knew just how to fix that.
take me to your planet by @any-open-eye (E, 1.3k) Pete’s face is doing something. He thinks he might be smiling. He feels fucking high. What the hell is happening to him? He knows afterglow and this isn't it. If it was, he'd be way more into sex. There were people in high school and then one long-term girlfriend a few years ago, but she never—it was nothing like this. This is like… that blissful moment between sleeping and waking when you're conscious of your body but not yet of your mind. Just a vessel of receptors and processes. Electrified meat. “That was good, right?” Vegas's hands are on him. “Tell me it was good.”
(more under the cut, it got a bit... long)
Sharing Different Heartbeats by @raelle-writing (E, 58k) Of course Vegas noticed Pete. But not with much weight. Sure, Pete was hot. But so were all of the rest of Kinn’s bodyguards. That wasn’t notable. It wasn’t worth more than a passing once-over, or an absent glance at the man’s ass in those suits they insisted on wearing. He had a nice ass, but it didn’t stick in Vegas’ mind. It was passing lust, nothing more. And he certainly wasn’t hotter than the other bodyguards– not Porsche, for example. The only thing notable about Pete was that he had a surprisingly soft, cute face, and a sunny, disarming smile. He looked far too soft for his job. But he was Tankhun’s head bodyguard, and one of the men that Kinn often tapped for important missions. Which meant that the cute, soft face was hiding real talent and skill. So yes, Vegas noticed Pete. But it didn’t mean anything. — Or: a retelling of the story from Vegas' POV, from first impressions until after the hospital.
How Deep it Goes by @giraffeter (E, 4k) It’s only been a couple of days but Vegas is already coming to crave the way Pete looks at him when he enters the room, the alertness that enters his body, the wary skitter of his eyes to Vegas’ face. “I want to watch a show,” Vegas says. He sets the tote bag he’s carrying down on the bed. Pete stares at it. “And you’re going to put one on for me.” — Vegas decides to bring some toys for his new pet to play with.
write somewhere deep. by @evashougouki (M, 2k) “All clean,” Vegas says, like Pete doesn’t know what he’s planning. “Am I?” Pete asks, though he’s unsure why he says it, why he pokes. Vegas is silent for a second, silent enough that Pete can hear his breath hitch. His laugh has an air of breathlessness to it then. “You’re such a fascinating creature.” Lips come to lay up against the side of his neck, just resting. Or lingering, maybe. Pete shivers but does not have the energy to fight it. Slippery hands slide between his thighs, pushing stinging soap into the still too-raw burns there. The shock of it is rapturous. — Vegas washes Pete in the safehouse.
ain't nobody trying to save you by @incendir (M, 1.9k) Vegas is splitting Pete open on three fingers when Pete gets the idea. Or, some additional details on KPTS 1x12.
A Close Shave by @fleet-off (M, 4k) The bathroom walls feel claustrophobically tight, and Vegas’s stomach is a ball of leaden frustration poised to turn molten. He wants to shatter the mirror with his fist, to yell at Pete to stand up straight, to curse his uselessness--just another one of Vegas’s failures. The razor sits on the edge of the sink. This was a bad idea. — Vegas gives Pete a shave.
Dare to be Bad by @raelle-writing (E, 7k) “I think you want a reason to have to hide your skin, don’t you, Pete?” Vegas drawled, and Pete made a sudden, surprised, unmistakably aroused noise as Vegas shoved a knee between Pete’s thighs, pressing suddenly, threateningly against his groin. Pete couldn’t stop his breaths from coming a little faster, heart racing, cock already responding in his pants, even as he tried not to let it. Fuck, he couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this turned on. Vegas’ lips curled up in another lazy smirk, dark gaze still locked on Pete’s face. “Aren’t you tired of playing the perfect little bodyguard, Pete?” he murmured, voice low and sultry. “Don’t you want to be bad for me?” — After failing to mark Porsche at the auction, Vegas runs into Pete and decides to blow off some steam.
An Interlude in the Space Between Light and Shadow by lewdhandholding (M, 3k) One of Kinn’s guards is a step ahead of Vegas’s attempt to flee the diamond auction venue, so Vegas decides to indulge his anger and frustration for a moment. After all, Pete makes such a perfect little chew toy. It might make Vegas feel a little better if he can get him to squeak.
splinter by @lu-sn (M, 2.8k) Pete has managed to lie to Khun — and Kinn, and Porsche — about where he's been. He knows without a shred of doubt that he will not be able to lie like that to Chan.
past the last exit by jumun (M, 1.6k) Pete thinks about Vegas’ face, wonders what Vegas would have done if he’d brought the knife just an inch higher, wonder what would've happened if he hadn’t goaded him. He knows he did it intentionally, because being able to push and prod at someone isn’t something he’s indulged in in years, because it's difficult to talk about that with someone much less have a mutual understanding. Pete did not have a mutual understanding with Vegas.
stay with me a minute (swear i'll make it worth it) by @incendir (M, 2.3k) Pete hadn’t anticipated how much breathing would hurt. Or, an unseen moment in 1x13.
cleans up nice by Lirelyn (T, 2.1k) Vegas likes his pets clean, so Pete gets a shower and a shave. It's fine. Nothing Pete can't handle.
when he comes by Anonymous (E, 3k) “Hm,” again. Vegas has stopped twisting, but he hasn’t let go, still tugging idly, crouched over Pete like a predatory bird. The pain is cold and strange and Pete thinks his dick might be leaking. “I want to eat you,” Vegas says absently. “Cut you open and eat you. How did that feel?”
cut me open and tell me what's inside by @wegathpete (E, 3k) In retrospect, Pete will find it funny. A self-proclaimed man of honesty, yet so unwilling to look deep within himself, afraid of what he might find beneath the carefully crafted and polished surface. Keeping so much of himself locked away, behind bars, like a condemned prisoner, a chained up, feral animal, unworthy of being seen by the world. Is he hiding from himself or everyone else? Would the world like him for who he is or hate him for who he isn’t?
like a trigger (get me ready to shoot) by @veliseraptor (M, 6k) sadism: psychosexual disorder in which sexual urges are gratified by the infliction of pain on another person. (Encyclopaedia Britannica) — As far as Vegas can tell, there are normal people who want normal things, and then there's whatever he's got going on.
First Impressions to Love Expressions (Ch. 12) by @iffervescent (E, 6k) “Don’t try to hide it,” Vegas murmurs, in the voice that has started doing weird things to Pete’s insides. “I know you’re suffering. Let it out.” Pete wants to hit him, wants to scream, wants to yank these stupid chains down from the ceiling and set fire to this house and wants to kneel at Vegas’ feet and beg him to whip him again. And – fuck –  he wants Vegas to cook for him some more. And to sit in the garden together, for a nice reason this time. And to tease him about having stupid books. And to feed him another pill with his breath warm on Pete’s mouth and all that tightly-leashed strength hovering above him and make Pete hard because of another person for the first time in his life.
while I do my thing in the background by @judiwench  (G, 2k) "I have a gift for you. This is Pete."

And the KinnPorsche rewatch continues...
First we have the side story.
Oh my god. I forgot about Tankhun's fake tears. Bless this over-dramatic idiot <3
Oh, Vegas, your flirting is really a sight to behold. By someone. Not named Porsche. Or Kinn. In fact, Kinn can't even bring himself to open his eyes and look. :')
OKAY BUT THE CUT FROM PORSCHE'S FACE "You think I'm scared of that?" TO HIM UNDER THE COVERS IS THE BEST.
Tumblr media
THE WAY PORSCHE CLUTCHES KINN'S HAND! <3 This is so cute *sobs*
And now Episode 7!
Ahhh, I really enjoy the set for this casino.
OH THE GRENADE. It always cracks me up how they left that one dancer with the grenade at the end.
Tumblr media
RIP, my dear, I hope you made it out of this mess unharmed :')
Okay, I don't know if I'm just tired, but the way Vegas pops up on screen in his bloody raincoat made me laugh. :')
Ooooooh, okay. Right after Vegas says you can eat whenever you want the camera pans to Pete, who nods (albeit with a bit of attitude). I see, I see, I see. 👀👀👀
I know it's a lot for Porsche to take in, but I wonder if he ever clocks that Macau is wearing the same school uniform as Porchay? alskdjflakwj :')
OKAY I'M SORRY FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING SCREEN CAPS BUT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THIS AWKWARD 'OH SHIT' SMILE AND WAVE IS GIVING ME LIFE. it is second only to Chay's judgey side-eye :') THE WAY HE GLANCES AT THE PHONE AND THEN BACK TO KIM AKSJFALKWEJA WHYYY?? :') :') :')
How to get a Porsche: 1) get a motorbike 2) psspsspsspss
Macau is so easy with his physical interaction with Porsche. Like, he feels comfortable enough to pat Porsche on the arm during this apology even though they barely know each other and had a pretty shitty introduction to each other... It's interesting, especially since Macau seemed pretty isolated from the rest of the minor family during the dinner. Whether it's because of how he sees Vegas and Porsche interacting, or if Vegas told him something.... that's for the fanfics I guess :')
Chay: "I'm sorry I lied" Also Chay: *immediately lies again*
OHMYGOD I THINK BARCODE IS ALREADY TALLER THAN JEFF HERE??? I noticed the camera angle looked a little tilted and
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DID THEY TILT THE CAMERA ANGLE SLIGHTLY TO MAKE KIM LOOK SLIGHTLY TALLER IF YOU SQUINT? ADSLFKAJW;KGJLKA someone please tell me i'm just being delulu i can't take this asldkfjawka sorry i'm gonna be thinking about this for the next 12 business days i'amfkwje;lgakjga
ANYWAY now that I sort of recovered from *gestures upwards* that let me get back to my apple thoughts real quick.
So back in episode 2 I basically assigned the green apple as Kinn and the red apple as Porsche. And of course in this episode Korn was cutting up the red apple (Porsche) as he talked about how cutting apples for his wife essentially weakened and, in his mind, rendered his favourite knife useless. And he tells Kinn to find his hold self.
But then he gives the red apple to Kinn! *cue flashback montage of Korn insisting that Porsche is hired to work for Kinn* And Kinn eats the red apple! *clue flashback montage of Kinn eating Porsche uh romantically*
And now we have Kinn telling Tay that he doesn't want to find the old him. He's all about them red apples now. No more green apples.
And look, this post by @technicallyverycowboy about how the green light bleeds away during the bathroom scene.
:D

Hello! I just recently binged KinnPorsche and I found your blog and I have to say I love it so much. The analysis, the different stories and ships. It's all amazing. I love it.
Secondly, I will DIE on the hill that Big deserved better. My manz did not deserve what he got.
🥰🥰 this is such a lovely message, thank you so much - and welcome to the fandom!!! 💖
oh yes. I actually (maybe surprisingly) like that Big dies - @snickerdoodlles articulates why really well in this post - but I think he deserved better in that I wish that his death had had more of an impact after the fact.
I wish the show had leaned slightly harder into making Big's feelings for Kinn explicit (I've seen a bunch of people come out of the show not realising that Big was in love with Kinn!), and I wish more time (or any time at all lol) had been given to exploring how his death impacted the surviving characters.
I'm not saying Big needed a funeral - I think part of what is so tragic and good about Big's death is that ultimately, he was just another bodyguard to Kinn. he had to be. he died because it was his job to do so and that was that - but I think the way he died would have had an impact on Porsche especially. Big, who hated Porsche and antagonised him constantly, sacrificed himself for him because he knew it was what would make Kinn happiest. I wish there had been some exploration of how this affected Porsche!
until then, Porsche had very much seen Big (and Ken) not as people with emotions and desires and reasons for being there just as he himself had, but as Kinn's mean mafia lackeys. Porsche had shown up, been rude to both them and to Kinn, demanded (and been given!) Big's job despite being completely unqualified, and then had been surprised that Big and Ken didn't like him all that much. Porsche is not typically one to hold grudges - we see this in his relationships with both Tankhun and Vegas - but Big and Ken had seemingly been exceptions to this. so I think this very abrupt confirmation that Big was human, just like Porsche, and that his actions had been motivated out of the very thing that now also motivated Porsche - love for Kinn - would have been difficult for Porsche to come to terms with. and I, personally, would have liked to see that!!
also, part of the tragedy of Big's death for me is that if he had been listened to at literally any stage of the Tawan situation, his death would have been avoided. Big risked his job to stand up in front of Kinn and Tankhun and Korn and urge them not to trust Tawan, but they let Tawan in anyway. he told Arm and Kinn not to trust Tawan's flash-drive, but they ignored him and the flash-drive turned out to be a virus that broke the CCTV and allowed Tawan to escape.
but Kinn didn't listen to him, and Big was forced, against his better judgement, to follow Kinn to his own death - while Kinn and the others escaped unharmed.
"this would never have happened if you guys had had a better boss", Kinn said to Arm in the aftermath of the warehouse showdown. Kinn knew it was his actions that led them there - but this grief and this guilt is never explored. it lasted for a single scene and then, like Big, was never acknowledged again.
and that's where I think that Big deserved better.

Kimhan Theerapanyakul is, by far, the worst of the young heirs. This is a fact universally, quietly, agreed upon by all of the bodyguards.
Tankhun is… odd. Eccentric. His moods are unpredictable and his punishments unorthodox. He’s vindictive but never truly cruel. Not the way Vegas is, some will whisper, trading horror stories about what they imagine may go on in the Minor family compound. Tankhun is also a safe assignment; he never leaves the tower, meaning whatever guards are on his rotation have a relatively cushy life, as long as they can put up with him. Most of them can’t, and ask to be reassigned within two weeks. You don’t become a bodyguard for the mafia because you want to be safe.
Kinn, despite being the middle brother, is the true heir, the one being groomed to lead the family. He is serious but kind, firm but fair. It is an honor and a privilege to be placed on his detail. An honor that Big worked very long and very hard for, sacrificing his life and his body to earn the right to stand at Kinn’s side always.
And then Tawan came into the picture.
A conniving, jealous little creature, who had Kinn wrapped so tight around his finger, it’s a wonder he could even breathe. Big, loyal guard that he was, tried his best to protect Kinn from himself. He overstepped. He urged caution in this fledgling relationship. Of course, Kinn was young and in love, and Tawan could do no wrong, right up until he was caught selling information to a rival gang.
Big was the one to reveal Tawan’s schemes. He wishes, deep down, that he had been the one to kill him, too. That he could have spared Kinn that pain.
Big is dismissed from duty after it’s over. Reassigned. He has been with the family for years at this point, worked his way up as a personal guard to the heirs; he expects he will be reassigned to Tankhun. Instead, he receives orders to report to Khun Kim, who’s recently moved out of the tower and into an apartment across town.
It’s best if Khun Kinn doesn’t see you right now, Chan had told him. That hurt worse than the dismissal. Big was only doing his job, looking out for his boss—his charge, his responsibility—and here he is, punished for it. Thrown away. Banished from Kinn’s presence entirely. It aches. But Big only nodded and bowed, and accepted his orders, because he is a good and loyal guard, and he will do as he is told.
Despite Big’s years with the family, he has had little contact with the youngest son. The next six months show him exactly why his coworkers call him the worst assignment.

Reading - KinnPorsche#2
A different game by CorvusCloudburst (4.2k) https://archiveofourown.org/works/40148862 A post episode 13 storyline. Kim goes violent because he is too worried for Chay, literally kidnapping him.
A Guide to Living, Laughing, and Loving for the Corporeally Challenged by bisexualbard (14.3k) https://archiveofourown.org/works/50550718 Kim disappears and comes as a ghost to haunt Chay, who doesn't like the way Kim is. Little bit of mystery
Checkmate (series) by majestictortoise (105k in total) https://archiveofourown.org/series/3041331 It's a series of 7 stories in total, each concentrating on one of the characters, yet the rest are also always there. Though the series makes up a cross-cutting, yet - alas! - unfinished plot, every story is finished in itself. Loved every one of them, as all the characters are well thought-out and the relationships are as healthy as they could be with all the mafia-thing involved. The setting is after the end of the original show. I'd say it's a kind of a fix-it in the sense that the author tries to bridge the gap between the story we had in the original show and the story it could have been if the creators had been more logical and hadn't left so many question unanswered. One more thing that I like is that all characters don't exist in the story as if there's nobody around - they keep their ties, (mock)hate those they (mock)hate, and love those who they fall for, and brothers are bothers not just because we are told so.
Machine Gun Kick - mainly Porsche's pov. He learns about the video of the fight at the Yok's bar, tries to talk to Chay and from this point the story rolls on. It's all confusing shades of grey, as Porsche puts it. He is reasonable and caring, I have to admit - it's the version of Porsche I do like most.
Counterpunch - While Vegas is recovering at hospital, Pete is getting adjusted to his new role in the family, still cared for by Khun, relied on by Macao and Korn becoming an issue and a threat. So it's time for everyone to choose their side.
Kotov Syndrome - In a nutshell, the summary tells it all - Kim ruins some of his father's plans, talks about his feelings, totally doesn't cry, and finally gets to kiss a cute boy.
Trigger Creep - Now it's Kinn's turn to keep the story going. Kim finally tells his brothers about his investigation, and from that point it's getting more and more intense - involving trust issues, kidnapping, and old sins coming for the revenge
S.I.N.G. - It's Chay's turn to be kidnapped, right from the compound. The opponents make themselves clear about their actions and reasons - nothing nice and nothing new - so teamwork is what they need for survival.
Middlegame - Macao spends time under Khun's protection while Chay is kidnapped. They bicker, share some dirty family secrets and eat ice-cream
Enhanced Interrogation - Vegas doesn't know what to do with his life, has some regrets, questions and doubts and puts into action some plans that he believes he may not survive

“We don’t need another hero
We don’t need to know the way home”
Tumblr media
In KP, Porsche is on his own somewhat twisted version of the hero’s journey. But he isn’t a hero that gets corrupted. That’s not the story arc. The show isn’t about Porsche losing his morality, it’s about him losing his naivety (Chay follows a similar arc in a more minor way). Despite his circumstances, Porsche is still pretty naïve when the show starts. In a way, having to take care of Chay his whole life and trusting Thee has kept him in a bubble. All he has time for is work, and Chay. He half-assed attends school, but not even enough to really be a part of the University life.
He never figures out what Thee is up to until it’s spelled out for him. He’s never even suspicious. He gives Kinn Jom’s name, even though he knows there’s something shady about Kinn, assuming that if they look for him, they won’t find a Jom working at Hum bar and they’ll what? Realize it’s not Porsche and just go away? He doesn’t take the bodyguard job seriously because even though he’s in the heart of the Mafia, he still doesn’t actually believe they’d kill him for nothing. That’s why Pete has to explain to him what would have happened if Kinn hadn’t choked him out in front of the Minor family.
Porsche *lucks* into the perfect spot. As Tankhun’s bodyguard, he can fulfill his obligation to Korn and rarely, if ever have to actively engage in Mafia business. Instead, he’s bored and insulted that he’s taken out of the game. (Compare him Fan Jhe Ruei from Kiseki: Dear to Me, who joins a gang voluntarily and then refuses to do any of the dirty work.)
Pol specifically tells Porsche that Kinn is collecting a debt and that if they don’t pay, it’s going to be a big deal. Porsche chooses to go there anyway, uninstructed. It’s not till he’s there, watching Mes get beaten and having flashbacks that he realizes this is a dumb-ass choice. He, naively, tells this guy who just pulled a gun on Kinn that he’s going to be fine, because Pete told him they weren’t going to kill him, not realizing the rules have changed.
His problem is never really with killing Mes. It’s with leaving the guy’s kid an orphan. We see him kill with no problem and no protest later. He was perfectly willing to go kill the man he thought had killed his parents in a car accident. (Sure, it’s scummy to use your influence to escape any consequences, but it was still, as far as he knew, a legitimate accident, not murder.) He only decides not to because the guy has a grandkid.
Porsche’s issues with the Mafia life aren’t about morality, they’re only about a specific circumstantial empathy. (I’m sure that the people on the end of the Minor family collections business are gonna get a lot more leeway with Porsche in charge if they stay in that business at all. After all, drugs, gambling, money laundering, etc... are much more of a sure thing with much less trouble).
His naivety continues as he trusts Vegas, and believes that Vegas really isn’t a bad guy because, despite Thee, he still believes in family first and thinks that everybody else must feel that way too. It’s only as the “truth” slowly emerges about what happened to his parents that his naivety finally dissolves.
The thing is, it’s only when his naivety is stripped away that he gets to make his own choices. They may not be the best choices, but they’re still his. (Hey, I didn't say he was smart. I said it's his right.) When he sees the truth about Thee, he gets to make a choice instead of being carried along by Thee’s choices and lies. When he sees all the parts of Kinn, not just the Mafia boss, he can choose to give up a chance for escape, to come back and save him in the woods, and commit to being with him.
When he knows exactly who Vegas is, he chooses to deal with him anyway, without any lies or manipulation, to find out what he needs to know. After he remembers what happened in that house and understands the lies Korn has told, he makes the choice to go back and stand by Kinn’s side, not wide-eyed, but clear-eyed. He takes the ring, knowing that Korn is full of shit but realizing that it’s what’s necessary to stand beside the people he loves.

Kinnporsche Rewatch Finale Thoughts
Vegas is warning Porsche! He is telling Porsche that shit is going to go down! He likes Porsche!
The flashback is really well done. Namphueng just wanted freedom from the Theereapanyakul mess for herself and her kids. :( With Porsche hiding in the cabinet, do you think that Namphueng and Pat ran drills with Porsche about what to do if Korn and Gun showed up. Do you think they had code words. Do you think Namphueng knew she couldn't get away, not really.
Porsche is distressed by the incest reveal. Kinn is...confused. but he's confused about everything right now. Korn immediately walks back the incest reveal. Kinn is no less confused. Korn says he's the only one who understood Namphueng and immediately call bullshit. I think you're just as possessive of her as Gun is, sir! I don't think you cared about her at all!
Ok, wait, now the subtitles are consistently calling her Nampheung. can we PLEASE get a confirmation on how to spell this woman's name. my poor ADHD brain cannot handle this.
Korn said Nampheung took pills, he absolutely told her the kids were dead and Gun did it. Everything he says is shady as shit.
I have a lot of feelings about the scene where they find out Korn 'died' but the mostly consist of me going BROTHERS!!!! a lot. but also,i know it's been mentioned before, what the FUCK is that look that Kim gives Chan. Kim has to suspect this is all a ruse and that Chan is in on it, right? And Chan IS in on it, right?
Vegas warns Porsche a SECOND time! the storm is coming! Vegas likes Porsche!
The dick measuring contest between Chan and Gun is so good. Also, I fucking missed it the first time because i was looking at the subtitles and not prepared for Chan to follow Vegas in speaking English but yeah, he really does say "The Adults Are Speaking Now" to Vegas. What a murder. god Chan has such swag. very interesting "don't make this a big deal. for me." there. something to think about. Chan taking down like a dozen guards by himself, getting shot like 4 or 6 times, only to take the time to call his boss and then pull himself up to smoke a final cigarette.... King Behavior. what a badass exit. RIP Daddy Chan, you will be missed. (personally, i will choose to live in Delusion Land. Chan did not die. he is in the hospital with Big.)
Porsche understood Vegas's warning and was like "I WILL be saving my man and I WILL be looking hot while doing it!" The spinning hug shootout is fucking Art.
OK y'all, Quick Sidebar to talk about Tankhun! We've been told the entire show that he was kidnapped, couldn't leave the house for years til Porsche arrived, couldn't lead the family and kinn had to take his place, but Look At Him. His home is under attack! His safe space! By people who WILL kill him. and he is FINE. Yes, he's probably locked away deep in the compound with Arm but he is as calm and rational as any of the other characters right now, actively helping! he is not freaking out at all! I don't think he is as troubled as Korn would have us believe, not anymore.
Erika is the best, that is all.
So like, does Chay even know Kim is there are the bar? this is my favorite Kim scene, I think. you go, murder kitten.
In Gun's version of the story, which i generally believe, there are three gunshots after he's dragged outside: Nampheung, Porsche, Chay. Gun really believes for years that all three of them were killed that day. And what kind of Flowers In The Attic shit was Grandpa Theerapanyakul cultivating in that house that both Gun and Korn are so obsessed with Nampheung.
Oh Vegas. "If I die today can you be the one to do it. I love you." and then running the fuck away. no wonder Pete is insane about you.
Atticwife Reveal! Nampheung has not aged a day, the magic of staying out of the sunlight! Nampheung is terrified and even more scared when Porsche calls her mom. That is the face of a woman who is scared out of her mind and trying to figure out a way out of it.
"Dad? You're....alive? and you have Porsche's mom in your attic???" poor kinn.
"Don't you remember? You were the one who shot her husband. And then when we brought her home you molested her!" Uh...... (x) Doubt. i mean not that Gun is above such acts but....i really don't think it played out the way Korn said. I don't trust a thing out of his mouth, he is trying to Jedi Mind Trick everyone. Did you seen Nampheung's eyes in the background when he says that??? Gun may have kissed her, but i don't think it was in a molestation way. Frankly, Gun may be Porsche's Bio Dad! I could be convinced! Nampheung and Gun have sex (consent? eh....i don't know either way. something hinky was going on in that house with the three of them growing up.) she gets knocked up, immediately marries Pat Kittisawat and runs away. (or maybe Pat really is Porsche's dad and Korn and Gun just think that's what happened. Anyway, it'd explain their obsession with Porsche.) Watch Nampheung's face when Gun says he loves her and will protect her. She's scared but not of Gun I don't think.
WHAT DOES GUN MEAN "The Truth that Nampheung is -" ???????? is Nampheung their half-sister? Is she an alien they're keeping hidden from the government?! WHAT IS SHE, GUN? I will get a ouija board!!!!
and Korn's promise to take care of Vegas and Macau?? oh no. He's going to atticson them like he did tankhun to go with his atticwife and he will have a whole empire of atticfamily that he rules with manipulation!!!
Just shoot him, Porsche. Just do it. Kinn will be sad for a few minutes but he already thought his dad was dead until just now so like, he's already started the grieving process. Everyone will be happier. Everyone will be free. do it Porsche. Doooo It. (Narrator: He does not do it)
Just shoot him, Vegas. Just do it. Kinn wouldn't even be that mad at you, probably. He sure looks at his dad like 'You had this coming' for a second there. Everyone will be happier. Everyone will be free. do it Vegas. Doooo It. (Narrator: He does not do it)
Korn knew about VegasPete, he's not shocked at all about Pete's resignation.
Pete "Joke's On You, You Can't Leave Me I Am Homeward Bound-ing Your Ass" Saengtham
Korn really trying to push "Nampheung is my Sister and you're my Nephew" and it just gets funnier when you remember just how much sex KinnPorsrche were having. Anyway, Porsche does NOT want to be head of the minor family. but he does look good in the suit. Anyway, DYING to know what the wider mafia world thinks of the two Theerapanyakul heads Keeping It In The Family.
Kim leaving the bodies of the wannabe kidnappers for Chay to find when he finishes his game is so funny. Cat bringing his owner a mouse he caught behavior.
Nampheung hears the door open and puts on the act, and you can see Chay crack it. When she realizes that that's her baby. Porsche was older, but this was a baby who is now full grown. She struggles to keep it together when Chay hugs her. but man, when Porsche says "we're together again. we're a family again" so looks so upset because At What Cost. now her babies are trapped here, too. As long as Korn is alive....
the aftercredits VegasPete scene is cute, Macau remains a little shit, and I'm happy the three of them are a family now.
Anyway, off to imagine the season 2 we won't get where everyone teams up to kill korn and live their best lives!

I’m so very tired of people saying nonsense about KinnPorsche the series and trying to bring it down.
I cannot stress enough how much the show means to me. Firstly because I’m enjoying it but more importantly because of what it’s showing, what it’s bringing into the world.
As Mile and Apo have continually been saying the series is showing love is love, we’re no different than the cishets. It’s telling queer people that they’re deserving of such detailed stories too. We also deserve stories that delve deeper than the superficial.
Let us have our complex characters. The morally grey or even morally black. The unclear, contrasting motives. Let us see healthy and unhealthy relationships. Fluff and action and torture. Let us have it all for once.
When we’re finally getting the variety we deserve, stop trying to restrict us back into boxes. It’s light, but it’s not superficial. It’s dark but it’s not gritty, there’s always some beauty to be found whether it be in the storyline itself or the shots.
Fair enough if it’s not to your personal taste/you personally don’t like it but to say such media shouldn’t be out there is wrong.
We get a story full of various kinds of love. Discovery and growth that’s flawed and rocky, an uneven and complicated path. A show that finally explores multitudes. A show through which I can finally feel connections to my own queer experiences but it’s subtle enough it’s not overwhelming and the story is varied enough with action, mafia plots and fluff that it’s enjoyable for the wider audience too.
We’re given NC scenes that feel beautiful, emotional, real and not fetishised. The joy and elation we get to see from them existing together. We’re given NC scenes that are dubious and darker. It doesn’t focus on just one aspect, we get it all. Layered and detailed for once.
They struggle to be together but it’s not because they’re queer, it’s because their lives are complicated and messy. It’s the casual normalising of it, shifting the focus to the people rather than focusing it on the sexuality.
Their words of support interspersed throughout the entire show. Telling us we’re supposed to be here. We’re seen. The effort Mile underwent to get this story out there, the improvements all the actors and BOC made to make the story better, less homophobic. How they changed part of Porsche’s storyline from internalised homophobia and that consequential struggle into something far more beautiful and relevant: an exploration of his quintessential self and his roles in life, his journey of self worth and happiness. How valid that makes one feel to watch such a series.
Chay setting out on his youthful love. Porsche only having his first dating experience in his adulthood. Tankhun feeling unsafe when he leaves his sphere, his use of fashion as a shield. Kinn’s struggle of duty vs heart. Pete and Vegas beginning to remove their masks. These stories, it’s all reminiscent of the very real queer experience. The differing journeys. The sex scenes, the fluff, the darker side. These multitudes symbolise the variety and varying paths of what the queer experience can entail.
The nod, the acknowledgement that there are so many differing queer experiences and stories to be told without reducing the focus to be solely on the sexuality. That queer people are people — as flawed, as varied, as complex as everyone else. Queer people don’t just have to exist one way or fit your ideals. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to see, it’s the reality of existence.
Every single one of these points is why the show is important, necessary even.
I’m not claiming it’s the first show to do so, but I would say it’s the first show to express it so fully — it’s in every single inch of it. Stop trying to bring it down.
If you don’t like it that’s fine, it’s not for you. It’s for me. It’s for me and everyone like me that finally feels represented and loved and shown that we’re allowed to be complex. That we exist on equal ground and deserve to have equally complex media. That like our queer selves, the queer media we have shouldn’t be restricted to certain boxes.
