It captures that horrible feeling of isolation caused by discrimination and it makes me want to cry every time I hear this song"

So I finally found out who the transphobic anon was who was sending hateful messages to both me and @pixie-skull some months ago. They sent me another anonymous ask back then too that I never published because it was easily the grossest one out of all of them and I didn't want it to see the light of day. But here they outed themselves by referring to something they said in some of their anonymous asks to me and @pixie-skull
Usually I'd censor people's names when I share this kind of bullshit, but 1, some people don't really deserve that courtesy and I definitely think entitled, bratty transphobes are in that group and 2, this entire conversation is public on my YouTube channel in my community tab so go right ahead and read it for yourself if you feel so inclined.
If this person wisens up and delete their comments, I'll censor their name in this post though.

Mariku was way too excited and it showed. He was standing outside of Ryo's apartment, but it wasn't to visit him- no, this time around he was there for the former thief king.
Once he was permitted in the door he rose a lazy arm up in a wave as he located the shaggy white-haired thief. "Yo, drop whatever you're doing. I've decided that we have to go drinking tonight."
Before Iaret could get a chance to decline the lion-like blond drapes himself across the back of the couch in a lazy way. "I'll pay for both of us." He had some (stolen) money burning a hole in his pocket.
"I know a place near here that has food too. Pretty great kebabs."
As if he's hoping to seal the deal he throws on a faux pout. "Please?~"

Chapter 18: Cuts
Warning: angst, mention of self-harm, mention of scarring
Tony had gone on another mission leaving Alice with in the care of Bruce, Bucky, and Thor. Although they all left her to her own devices. The team would be back by midnight and had left early this morning. With the people who were supposed to be keeping and eye and ear out were in their own little world Loki snuck up to Alice’s room for a Disney marathon.
“So, the child has magic. This woman stole this child and pretended to be her mother. And told her that outside is dangerous and she knows best then locked her up... in a tower.”
They had just finished watching Tangled and Loki was trying his best to not point of the obvious similarities between the character’s situations and Alice’s. He’d keep his thoughts to himself for now.
“Lion King or The Little Mermaid” Alice looked up at Loki he was laying on her bed smirking.
“Flynn Rider”
"what??"
"Flynn Rider, I want to be your Flynn Rider. I want to get you out of this tower and show you the world- no the galaxy” Smiling Loki moved across the bed closer to her. He was being dead serious. He wanted to take her away show her all she was missing and what no one else had yet to see.
She giggled thinking he was all but joking. Why would they run away? They couldn’t. They wouldn’t.
“Well, Mr. Flynn Rider, I don’t think my father would like that. He likes to keep me high up in this tower. Plus he’d cut my hair I have no way down.” Loki’s smile flattered as she spoke. She joked because that what he was doing, but he was not. Maybe she didn’t understand or wasn’t ready he wasn’t going to push her either way. He left it as a joke.
“I’ve got magic I’‘ll let you down. Anywhere you want to go” he pulled her closer she giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck. “ Just tell me” he leaned in closer.
Alice runs a hand through Loki’s hair. She was the one who was allowed to touch his hair. Alice squealed as Loki’s fingers danced along her side his grin frowing bigger with every word and every laugh. The two on the bed Loki tickled her all over trying to make her laugh more as she fought back.
"Stop...can't breath... can't breath" she was laughing so hard the sound was non-existent it was so good she wasn't even breathing. Finally, Loki decided he had had enough of torturing her. He collapsed next to her both of them out of breath legs and arms tangled together still laughing.
Loki’s laughter came to a sudden halt as he looked at her arm her sleeves were pulled.
In all the time Alice had lived in the tower Never in the months, they accompanied each other she had never pulled her sleeves up she always wore sweaters and long pants she never wore less never showed more, and now he understood why.
Her arm was covered in scars. Like snowflakes against her skin. They ranged from big to small from little nicks to long jagged lines faded but deep, all decorating her arms. As hideous as they were strangely beautiful.
As he reached out to trace her scars, she pulled down her sleeve and sat up "Sorry".
“What happened?”
“it’s nothing”
“It’s something”
He tried to touch her again but she brought her arms to her chest and pulled away. “ are you going to tell me? or do you want to wait?” he asked.
“Are you mad?” Alice looked at him teary-eyed.
“I’m not mad. I just... can you tell me what happened?”
Slowly rolling up a sleeve to show her scars.
“I have these abilities. I can control my blood ... I use to practice by cutting myself to bleed. Other times I did it just because. It turned into a bad habit.” she watched as he slowly and gently traced her scars one by one “Then my dad found out. I’ve never seen him so angry before. He stopped visiting for a while. He came back when I started covering myself.”
Alice watched as Loki finished tracing her scars “On Asgard our warriors are celebrated for their scars because it means they’ve survived.” He pulls down her sleeve “ You don’t have to cover up for me. You’re safe with me. I see nothing but your beauty” Alice blushed at his comments and her heart leaped as Loki kissed the back of her hand.
She didn’t know what to say.
“Lion King sounds interesting” he spoke for her.
Thus began a week of listening to Loki sing and mumbled his favorite songs from the movies. And lovely voice he had. Alice enjoyed his singing while the Avengers wondered when he got into Disney.

Heya! I'm a Fan Fiction author and I'm working on an epic, but I'm continuously plagued by ideas that don't fit in the epic but are not deep enough for their own stories. In order to keep myself on track, I'd like to find a roleplay partner to wrangle these plot bunnies. I am willing to double up if you would like so you can have yours too. I play Ignis and Ardyn rather well, as I've been told.
Please be 18 or older as I deal with themes that are sensitive and not suitable for people of all ages.
Looking for someone to fulfill my shameless desire to charm the Marshal of the Crownsguard.
So, here is the premise.
This takes place at the same time as the game, but it diverges from the original events. There's no shadow of the "10-year darkness" or the weight of a "chosen king" in this narrative, though daemons still roam at night. The immortal sad-boy Ardyn exists solely as the Chancellor, his involvement in the story is kept to the fringes.
The Crownsguard's reports to the King portray Lucis in disarray, courtesy of the elusive activist group, "The Free Keepers." With their motives and plans veiled in secrecy, the group wreaks havoc across Lucis, leaving chaos in its wake—sabotaged outposts and disrupted hunter activities are common threads in their wake.
In response to this rising threat, the Crownsguard, overseen by the vigilant King, launches a mission to unveil the mysteries surrounding The Free Keepers. This operation extends its scope to include the skilled Hunters. Having faced their fair share of troubles caused by The Free Keepers, the Hunters are well-versed in cleaning up the aftermath in outposts scattered around Lucis. This particular deployment sees the Hunters' involvement as well, which is where the Marshal meets my character.
Enter Venatrix, colloquially known as "Vixen" among her peers. A distinctive figure in the tumult of Lucis, she boasts long, jet-black hair often braided back, lending an air of practicality to her appearance. Clad in a dark blue body suit, complemented by low-rise denim pants and a cropped jacket, Vixen seamlessly balances functionality and style. Her ensemble is completed by black gloves and functional leather boots, reaching up to her knees. Noteworthy is the black beaded statement necklace adorning her neck, featuring a lion charm. (resembles Griever from FF8 lol.)
Vixen's facial features project a deceptive fragility that contradicts her true nature. With doe eyes carrying an unexpected depth and plush lips that hint at both vulnerability and resilience, she embodies a nuanced blend of delicacy and inner strength.
In terms of physique, Vixen's short stature, paired with a generous bosom and thick thighs, suggests a softer demeanor. However, her deliberate choice of clothing, from the dark blue body suit to the low-rise denim pants, serves a specific purpose—it's an intentional effort to enhance her physical presence and project an image of strength. A deliberate attempt to accentuate her muscular prowess, Vixen uses her attire as a means to counteract the initial perception of softness, striving to appear physically strong in a world that might otherwise underestimate her.

the lion king was actually my first fandom (or, the reason I found out that fandoms existed in the first place) and I spent HOURS on DeviantArt reading comics and looking at fanart! also I was obsessed with that comic on Animexx called "Verborgene Geschichten" (Hidden Stories) which explained the stories of some of the fanon characters like Kopa and Mheetu. tlk probably was also the first fandom I did serious fanwork for, I wrote several short stories and a longer fanfic about Vitani (I love her so much) and made a very bad comic and so so much fanart aaaaaa
unfortunately the fanfics are all in german and the comic as well but maybe I´ll share some of the Old Cringe /pos someday
it´s a pretty niche fandom and I feel like most of the fans are way older than me and have families of their own, a completely different generation
which makes sense since the movies came out in the 90s
anyways I am still obsessed with lion king and every once in a while I fall back into the rabbithole and brainrot over my old ideas
