The golden colours, still speaking of the sun, his apparently unhurt body, brown and human in contrast to the white nereids... "Ok so. Abt 10 mins long song, completely standalone with no relation to any other albums. Based on frankenstein. AND IT FUCKS. Retelling of frankenstein where the monster is an ai created by victoria frankenstein and it basically destroys a whole planet bc victoria wouldn't let it create others of its kind, leaving it lonely and refusing to acknowledge its existence as more than just her crowning achievement, something that brings her glory but should never be seen as anything close to a human being. But the ai keeps victoria alive, killing and reviving her over and over again in hopes that one day she'll agree to let it create more of itself, even though she keeps refusing every time. The song itself shows one iteration of that cycle, with victoria waking up, recalling her ai's actions, refusing its demands and dying only to be revived again at the end of the song, with the cycle continuing on. Its very much a 'first lines of the song are the same as the last lines' scenario and its great. Im submitting it over other mechs songs bc you don't really need any previous context to understand it and its severly underrated and i love it."

i may be hyping mtself up too much but the ideas i have for skills bracket 2 already are killing me it'll be soooo funny

Bit late now but I think separating classic who and new who would have been a good idea and a bit fairer.

well yeah, but also that would have been kinda less interesting, i've loved watching certain classic companions narrowly gain victories from what i thought would have been obvious nuwho sweeps (thinking especially about the ian/clara match) and also seeing which classic characters have ended up being winning and iconic (hi ian). tbh if there was one thing i'd change going back to the start, it would be not putting four characters from any category through, because that's what made it possible for there to (technically only potentially but probably certainly) be an rtd-only semifinal and final, although that's also in part a problem of assuming equality across nuwho eras and classic who eras as two broad categories, and then splitting every group across the four corners of the bracket rather than, say, putting two rtd characters into two of the semifinal feeders. idk, there's lots of ways it could have been done differently, but the "unfair" results are also part of the interesting bits for me

we're accepting nearly any form of visual art, but primarily sticking to stuff like paintings and the like. loom banners are cool!! engravings are awesome!! stained glass? even better! that being said, feel free to submit statues and modern art stuff because if we're running a poll about art that fucks you up, it would be absolutely criminal to stick to just those.

(and yes. we do accept statues and paintings of people in the nude. just stay away from sending us real life photos of people having sex and claiming it's art. technically it kind of is, but we're not accepting those submissions. i reserve the right to refuse a submission.)

unfortunately, we will not be accepting fanart. i know there are some fantastic pieces of art made by people on this website for their fandoms, but we're not going to be accepting those :(

ALSO. if you are submitting art made by someone actively on tumblr, PLEASE ASK THEM FOR PERMISSION. technically, whilst making the polls, we would be reposting art which is usually against most artist's boundaries.

Question: do you guys want the current list of 32 and current runner ups? I'm pretty much done for tonight, but I could get that together tomorrow if people want that. To clarify, what I mean by runner ups: currently quotes with 4+ nominations are in the bracket, so I'd put the ones with 3 nominations as well. The 3 nominations are runner ups.
