Yesterday I watched a ts3 CAS video on youtube and it made me want to download heaps of CC so I racked my brain for a good excuse. I love making male sims in all the games so I originally thought of just making a few boys to live together.

Then it hit me:

Why don't I reboot my favorite household I ever made in ts3? They were a never-aging band called the FirEnds and I loved them. I played them constantly between 2012-2014, so I thought it could be fun to give them 2022 CC looks especially since I have no remaining CC left from that era of time. Unfortunately that means I can't do before & after pics although I'll throw in the only screenie I still have of all 4 of them. I never took screenshots back then, sadly.

Okay are you ready? Yeah I know it shows absolutely nothing 👍

They didn't even have CC skin because I made them at a time when I had no CC. Then they somehow ended up like this. But anyways let's get on to their 2022 reboots, shall we? I gave them CC skin but made no other changes to their faces. They were all covered in tattoos which I removed so that I have fresh canvases to tat up during play. I don't have very much male CC yet so I'll likely tweak them even more as I go.

Get ready for questionable names, long hair, and eyeliner. Had to keep them true to their 2012-2014 selves. I did my best to dress them the way they would have back then.

Name: Khristian Villareal

Sexuality: Undefined

Khristian is the band's bassist and besides that only ever worked part-time jobs. He's had a few girlfriends but nothing serious. He likes nerdy things, dogs, and brunettes. He is a weird guy in the best type of way. Others often find him hard to understand because he spends most of his time in his own world.

Name: Manchester Hillguard

Sexuality: Straight

Manchester is the band's guitarist, but he is also a solo Vocal Legend. He has a preference for ultra-glam, big-busted blondes and would be a Romance aspiration were this sims 2. He's the most masculine of the group and sometimes isn't the most friendly. He cares deeply about his appearance and it's canon that he may have had an ED in the past.

Name: Adrian Mistine

Sexuality: Gay

Adrian is the band's drummer but also a World-Renowned Surgeon! He is extremely smart but tends to dumb himself down to match everyone around him. He's naturally blonde but has had every color and style hair imaginable. He's the only one of the 4 who had any significant long-term relationships. He fluctuates between a sort of muted-goth aesthetic and hot-pink drag queen. Those around him would describe him as having the biggest heart ever.

Name: Nicky Holmstedt

Sexuality: Does it matter if nobody ever wants him?

Nicky is the band's keyboardist and occasionally sells paintings on the side. Real jobs and actually working isn't his thing. Nicky started out with an aesthetic closer to Khristian's however as Adrian is the only person to actually understand him (his words, not mine), overtime he began mimicking Adrian's style and then put his own spin on it. He's had absolutely terrible luck with women. He smokes. He comfort eats. He likes cats. If sims had mental illness he'd be depressed.

It took me way too long to do this so I don't get to actually play tonight 😓 Tomorrow I'm going to make them potential partners to live in the world and then I think send them to university right away as opposed to at the very end like I did with their 2012-2014 equivalents. These 4 sims are clones of the originals so they have no relationships, no skills, no progress. However I do intend to take them down similar or identical paths to how they were. It's just their old save was a complete mess.

The Brothers and Side Characters Play the Sims

I don’t know what possessed me to make this but WHATEVER. I’ve been playing the Sims since I was a wee little girl, and I’ve seen my fair share of weird Sims stuff that I feel would fit these bozos perfectly.

My Sims have a Functional Family Life Because I Don’t (Lucifer)

God dammit Levi’s obsessed with another game... ugh.

Spends 5 minutes in Create-a-Sim and hops into a starter home.

Lucifer’s the type to start with all the average stuff and then build their stuff up as his sim gets promotions.

It’s just... so peaceful...

...he’s adopting a dog.

Look at his new little virtual family... his sim-kids are self sufficient and getting A’s in school, his Sim spouse MC or Diavolo take your pick loves his Sim-self, his sim-dog-

WAIT NO- THE DOG’S AN ELDER?!

AAAAAAAAAAAAA-

...

He’s fine. It was just a virtual dog. *sniffle*

He’s now spending his free time drinking Demonus and playing the Sims.

What’s a mod? Levi why does your sim have gun?

Behold, My Gorgeous Home... It’s a Box (Mammon)

Mammon, like the rest of the HOL, is mooching off of Levi’s Origin account.

“AW SHIT! This house looks awesome! I’m gonna build it for Sim-me to live in!”

Mammon proceeds to build a box with rooms. Yay...

He just picks the funnest sounding job if he picks any job at all for his Sim. That’s how he ended up making 9 dollars an hour in the criminal career.

Didn’t stop Mammon from buying that solid gold bathroom set from Get Famous... a box with solid gold bathrooms.

His Sim is broke send help-

“Leviiiiiii my sim needs money... the people my sim kidnapped and is forcing to paint aren’t making enough money...” “Ugh... press control shift C and type ‘motherlode’.”

...Levi made a mistake.

“FUCK YEAH! MOTHERLODE!”

His sim’s life is so chaotic, he has a piranha pool that his sim has almost died in twice, the sim is carrying on several torrid love affairs, his sim got struck by lightning, his sim has nearly died in a grilled cheese making accident twice... in the same day.

At least once Sim-Mammon and Sim-MC get married things calm down a little.

Mammon finds out what custom content is and proceeds to download EVERYTHING HE CAN FIND.

And now he’s asking Levi why his computer is running so slow.

Expansion Pack King (Leviathan)

He got into it back when the Sims 2 was new, he’s a veteran fan.

“Bro remember when Agnes Crumplebottom would show up and whack the shit out of your sims if they were flirting?”

“Remember when that witch would show up randomly on the lot you were on if you had Makin’ Magic?”

“Remember when Bella Goth was abducted by aliens and we just... didn’t question it?”

He whines about the Sims4 and how crappy it is but still buys every expansion pack, game pack, and stuff pack.

This boy watches like 40 hours of built tutorials and ends up sobbing over his weird roofs.

“WHY DOESN’T IT LOOK AS NICE AS THE ONE I’M LOOKING AT?! THIS ISN’T FAIR!”

The mod folder is so full istg-

Levi gets custom content for the sole purpose of making his favourite fictional characters.

This is why Henry and the Lord of Shadows are married and Ruri-chan and Sim-Levi are roommates.

Oh my god they were roommates-

Levi also added his brothers to the world and uh... Sim-Mammon died in a tragic pool accident F.

Levi then proceeded to befriend the Grim Reaper.

He’s anxiously awaiting the release of Paralives.

Wait Gameplay? In This Build Simulator? (Satan)

Satan’s here to build and leave. Gameplay who?

Our favourite bundle of rage is a master architect and the amount of followers on the Gallery he has shows it.

He takes up those build shell challenges and always ends up making them look positively perfect.

Asmo’s always using his houses, and Satan often takes requests when he gets bored.

No Mammon, he reserves the right to refuse to build a golden castle for you- YOUR SIM HAS 40 SIMOLEONS-

No mods, no CC, he’s building with what EA gave him.

...and EA gave him debug objects, and he’s not going to explain how to get them.

The one time he did actually play with a family... it was one sim and seven cats.

He tries to play without cheats... and ends up getting frustrated and turns on cheats.

All hail the Pets Expansion Pack.

Custom Content Soap Opera (Asmodeus)

Asmo spends 5 hours in Create a Sim then just... clicks out of the game.

That’s how it goes most of the time, buuuuuut when he gets super invested in a family he’s made, boy howdy is he INVESTED.

Sim A is carrying on an affair with Sim C who’s in love with Sim B who’s married to Sim A but Sim D wants to kill Sim A and C even though they’re the illegitimate child of Sim C-

When Asmo realizes that in the Sims 4 he needs to manufacture all the drama himself and he can’t just sit back with a glass of wine and watch the fireworks, he switches to the Sims 2 and 3.

“...why is this old lady beating up my Sim..?”

He immediately recoils in horror upon seeing how ugly the Sims are pre Sims4.

HE NEEDS TO FIX THIS-

Ah, there we go, perfect. Custom Content to the rescue!

He ends up remaking the entire world just so he doesn’t have to look at weird looking Sims.

Asmo is the only one to have finished a proper Legacy Challenge, but it gets crazy chaotic after gen 3.

“My sim just got abducted by aliens and now he’s pregnant- WHAT?!”

He has about 40 saves and only two he actually plays.

Just a Big Ol’ Happy Family (Beelzebub)

Beel found the game, proceeded to make everyone in create-a-sim to the best of his abilities, and made everyone get along.

That’s why Sim-Lucifer and Sim-Belphie are on a swing set together, they’re friends :D

“Hey Luke do you think you can make this?” “I-is that a cake shaped like a hamburger?” “Yes. Please make.”

He took one look at the cooking options and decided to max out his Sim’s cooking skill to unlock all the options.

Beel proceeded to drool all over his keyboard. Gross...

Boy howdy did he have some crazy dinner suggestions!

Overall, very wholesome Sim-life, except for the time Sim-Levi died because the toilet caught fire, don’t worry, Sim-Beel knows how to make ambrosia.

All is good in the Sim save...

...until Sim-Beel ate pufferfish nigiri and fuckin died-

Wait Did I Not Pause- (Belphie)

Huh, this game looks fine... I’ll play for a little- *SNORE*

Belphie makes some sims, plops them into a starter home, plays for an hour, then falls asleep.

He wakes up five hours later to absolute carnage.

Three sims have died because someone decided to make Mac and Cheese and the oven caught fire, the kids were taken away by social services, and the dog ran away.

“...heheh, holy shit everyone look.”

He doesn’t play often, but when he does, death occurs. He has found out every death method for every game from Sims 2 to 4.

And that INCLUDES the Sims Medieval! You guys remember that game?

Sometimes it’s not intentional, but Belphie got bored with the totally normal life his sims were living and decided to spice it up.

“Why are the ghosts breaking my showers..?”

Help There’s a Bug- (Diavolo)

The Crown Prince started playing when he noticed Lucifer was playing it.

He was immediately obsessed.

Dia mostly plays the Sims Medieval because he likes the feeling of achievement after completing a quest!

“Barbatos... why isn’t my Sim completing their task? The icon won’t show up.” “My lord it appears the game is bugged.” “:(“

No one thought to tell Diavolo that EA doesn’t plan on offering bug support to a game made in like... 2009

This doesn’t matter! Look at how great his kingdom is doing- oh no his hero has the plague-

He plays through the Pirates and Nobles expansion and manages to get the peaceful ending, he’s so proud of himself.

“MC! Look! My Monarch’s sword is permanently on fire and I’m fighting an evil wizard!”

When he does play the other Sims games he’s pretty basic, though, he does a great job at furnishing!

Dia gets crazy sad when his Sims die... he turns off aging.

Builder no. 2 (Barbatos)

Barbie doesn’t have time for this... but when he does, he builds.

No create a sim.

No playing the game as intended.

Just builds.

It’s relaxing, okay? A nice little suburban house he’s never going to play in, maybe a treehouse, maybe a big Hollywood Mansion...

The only time he actually plays the game outside of build mode is when someone needs his help to fix something in-game.

He does download custom content build items if he feels bored by the current selection.

Oh Crap What Am I Doing?! (Simeon)

Help him. Please.

He’s so confused.

“Luke, why is my sim upset?” “He’s hungry, Simeon.” “Oh, how do I fix that?” “...Simeon-”

There’s a toilet in the middle of the living room.

The fridge is facing the wall.

There’s no bathtub or shower.

The house is on fire- there is no god- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Okay, once he gets the hang of it he’s sitting pretty. His sims have good jobs, the kids are getting good grades, everything’s fine.

...

But Simeon won’t forget the nightmares.

What Even is This Save? (Solomon)

Solomon’s save is the definition of chaos.

One sim’s a vampire, the other is a spellcaster that really wants to fight the Callientes for some reason, there’s one normal sim that’s always sick for some reason,

It gets weird, confusing, and horrible.

Just how Solomon likes it.

His house makes no sense, like, what even is architecture?

Money cheats are needed because Solomon‘a goal of chaos and confusion is proving to be kind of expensive.

Square up Mortimer Goth, Solomon’s sims are here to steal your weird knight statue that’s worth a shit ton of simoleons for NO REASON.

He joined the scientist career for the sole purpose of getting to the alien planet and kidnapping adding an alien to the household via cheats.

The vampire ended up dying on their wedding day because Solomon forgot that he gave them the sun weakness.

Oh well, the ghost got added to the household! VAMPIRE GHOST!

The Child (Luke)

Before you say Luke’s too young to play the Sims, you should know that I was nine when I first started playing, and I turned out fiiiiiiiiiine.

He’s just happy to be playing.

Look, his sims are gardening :D

Look, two of them are getting married :D

Look, they had a baby :D

Look, his sims are building a rocket ship :D

Look, his sims’s rocket just crashed-

The concept of death hit the little angel right in the face that day.

“*sniffle*... my sims...”

Don’t worry, with tears in his eyes, Luke quit without saving and everything was fine!

Speaking of My Sims, Luke played MySims Sky Heroes and that was when Luke had his first bout of gamer rage.

MC came over to hang out with Solomon and Simeon, and in the distance they could just hear:

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY TIME WASN’T FAST ENOUGH TO CONTINUE THE STORY!? I’LL SHOW YOU FAST ENOUGH TIME!”

Okay, maybe Simeon should take the game away... just for a bit... he should take heed not to be bitten by the incredibly angry chihuahua.

Playing Favorites (part 2)

Here we go again! Another 4 TS2 premades that really strange my town! (I’ll see myself out.) Anyway, I have to preface this with saying that so far I’ve only played the 3 base game hoods and although I really enjoy PV and VV, I added them to Strangetown just recently, so I’m still getting acquainted with their casts. That’s why my Playing Favorites posts are so dominated with desert-dwellers - but I definitely plan on including more non-ST Sims once I got to play with them more!

And I also low-key love everybody in Strangetown.

TOP 15 TS2 Premades (according to my personal tastes somewhere in May 2021) (not in any particular order) (and I can’t guarantee I stop at 15 either)

Tank Grunt (Strangetown)

Yes, I am one of them. I am a Tank Grunt apologist. Brace yourself!

Similarly to the Pleasant twins, I view Tank as a victim of his father (Buzz Grunt, the esteemed Strangetown's Worst Parent Award nominee). Of course, that's not to say he's innocent. He is absolutely guilty of bullying Ripp and Johnny and equally guilty of being a bigot. And, most importantly, totally guilty of casually wearing camo face-paint. (that he canonically gets tatooed on his face down the line, which is... its own kind of tragic.)

But that is exactly why I like him so much!

Let me elaborate.

Tank is a very multilayered character, albeit a bit cliché. He is very artistic a eager to always do his best, whether that is in school or home where he competes for his father's affection and approval. Buzz provides both of that but it always feels conditioned – if Tank was to stop getting A+, stop parroting his opinions, stop working out, stop following in his footsteps, would that go away? Even though the answer depends on your interpretation of Buzz and his levels of horrible, Tank definitely thinks so. Just take a look on how his father treats Ripp!

I read Tank as somebody who believes firmly in order and good but has a very twisted understanding of both given his militaristic and hyper-masculine upbringing. He has an enormous potential for character growth. Can he gain (psychological) independence of his father? Can he follow his dreams and become a dancer? Can he free himself of his father’s biases now that he’s out on his own? Can he mend his relationship with Ripp and Buck? (...or maybe even Johnny?) It makes him so fun to play.

Also, I think that it was indeed very cowardly of the developers not to set his gender preference as gay.

Conclusion: Tank is fun! (Although he would probably resent me for saying that.)

Dina Caliente (Str- wait, Pleasantview)

Finally someone who doesn't live in the desert! Both Nina and Dina are such interesting characters, with their connection to Bella’s disappearance, their alien bloodline and their opposing personalities and ambitions.

I feel like the sisters are often getting unjustly demonized. (or mixed up together, I’m looking at you, TS3 and TS4) They’re young, very attractive and in unconventional relationships, thus often labeled as predatory. They’re not.

Dina is a very nice Sim, with Nice points above the average and many Playful points and she tends to roll wants to start a family by the start of the game, although she is not a Family Sim. She’s actually a Fortune Sim, smart and business-oriented. She’s a widow who wants to remarry and has her sights set on the husband of her missing former sister-in-law.

I know that doesn’t make her sound that nice but there is nuance. First of all, the man in question is Mortimer Goth, well in his twilight years, a father of two, simply an adult. He is not a hapless trophy, the decision to start an affair with Dina not long after his first wife got pronounced missing, is his own. He knows he won’t be here for long and doesn’t want to die alone, he wants someone who can make him feel young again and loved once more. Dina, on the other hand, pursues a shotgun wedding to take an advantage of the Goth fortune that will kickstart her business ventures but she is ready to provide what Mortimer needs. She canonically loves him. (proven by the love flag in her relationship panel)

In my personal gameplay, I had Don take Dina on a date before their marriages to their respective Goths, and Dina kept rolling wants to flirt with Mortimer instead. Later down the line she also helped out the Brokes financially, and after her close friend Brandi died young in childbirth, she took in her youngest children, so that her oldest son Dustin could go to college and not worry what’s gonna become of his younger siblings in his custody while he’s gone. I figured it made sense because of Dina’s Nice points, her relationship with Brandi and her now being partially in charge of so much money it isn’t even funny.

In conclusion: I support and condone Dina! Even if it’s somehow implied that she and her sister might’ve just staged her rival’s alien abduction.

Circe Beaker (Strangetown)

Circe is yet another... unwholesome character on my list. She canonically tortures people, namely Nervous Subject, and her bio eludes to there being more in the past or the future. She's cunning, ambitious and very mean.

But she is also very fun to play! Her aspiration being Fortune (not Knowledge) puts an interesting spin on the whole evil scientist routine. She doesn't do it for the love of discovery like the Curiouses and she doesn't care about credit as her husband does. She's out for power and she may as well get it.

Her rather extreme personality would lead one to think she has to be rather disliked around the town but her default relationship panel says otherwise. She doesn't have any close friendships except her husband, though. That makes me think she is superficially charming and tends to act diplomatic to obtain people's loyalty without necessarily caring about any of them. It makes playing her unique from most other Sims.

She is also canonically bisexual! I personally have a deep appreciation for each and every Sim that Maxis sneakily preset to be LGBTQ+. I may not seem like a big deal now but it is.

Conclusion: "She could gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss me any day.” - half of Strangetown’s population

Lazlo Curious (Strangetown)

Lazlo is a ray of sunshine in the Curious household! A very sloppy ray that makes messes wherever it goes, true, but sunshine nonetheless.

I’m very fond of Lazlo because he’s the type of person that looks like he can barely count to five with his easy-going and messy nature but is in fact very clever and, by some measures, the most competent Curious brother, since he is the youngest and it seems like he’s fresh out of college, yet holds a higher career position than his older brothers. “A smart person that doesn’t necessarily seem smart on the first glance” is a trope I have a big soft spot for. (...and it shows)

In my current gameplay, Lazlo wanted to resurrect Vidcund (who died in childbirth), so he switched from Science to Paranormal to swipe a Resurrect-O-Nomitron and, like the madlad he is, succeeded before their round was over (in a span of few days). It was a combination of dumb luck and him having a compatible degree that gave him a hefty bonus but it still made me realize Lazlo could achieve whatever he sets his sights on.

Luckily, his sights are generally set on pizza and video games.

Anyway, I find Lazlo somehow cute, most probably for his constant and very unfruitful attempts to make Vidcund laugh, and in general, how friendly and easy to get along with he is. While he doesn’t have that many Nice points (5, which is a pretty average number), combined with his playfulness he usually tends to act very amicable.

In conclusion: I simp for Knowledge Sims and it shows.

My 6 heirs from a challenge I’m working on in ts2 (now I’m going to try it in ts3).

It all started with Carey Morgantea (who I used Cassandra Goth’s face for). She married a random old guy, and got pregnant with twins. Her son was going to be the heir, but then his twin sister killed him (autonomous light saber fight). His sister was sent away to never be seen again. Carey had to have another child to carry on the bloodline. Her and her husband gave birth to a third child, Luella, very late in life. Carey unfortunately starved to death when she fell asleep at the breakfast table, and Luella’s father died of old age not long into her teen years. She went to college alone, as an orphan.

Luella was a rather quiet and reserved individual who had a hard time making friends thanks to her solitary upbringing. She made a couple friends in college, even fell in love, but was still alone. She loved a red headed man, who never wanted to commit, and then she found out that he was in love with her best friend also. Not long after, she met Peter Sims, and started a family. The couple gave birth to their son Jorden, who was a little...different. Unfortunately, Peter burned to death in an accidental fire when Jorden was 10 years old.

Jorden was the first living male heir in the legacy. He was rather in love with his looks, and found himself the apple of many womens’ eyes. He excelled in college, and before graduating, found love with a banana yellow alien girl named Rain Sampson. Rain didn’t know it, but her husband Jorden was a serial killer who would get rid of people that got in his way. Jorden would gain fame from selling masterpiece paintings, but he would die without ever being punished for his crimes.

Jorden’s daughter, Kris, was the complete opposite of her father and unaware of his crimes. She was a happy go lucky girl and had a thirst for knowledge. She married Vidcund Curious, who was just crazy about her. The couple had a long lasting, true love, that was hard to find anywhere else. Together they had a son named Vasily.

Vasily looked exactly like his father, but was a much more social version of him. He did well in college, and avoided his twin brother who fought with in childhood all the time. Vasily found a few girls of which he fell in love, but the one that moved in with him was who broke his heart. Not long after moving in with his girlfriend, he cheated on him with another man, being caught woohooing on the sofa! This crushed Vasily, and his parents would often wish for his ex’s death. Eventually, he found love though, and married a girl named Lilac...who ended up being his ex’s sister. A match made through total accident. Surprisingly, she had alien DNA also, just like his grandmother. The couple had a daughter together, named Veronica.

And that’s where the story ends for now. 😛

Surprisingly enough takes more after Martin than Jon, but she definitely has Jon's curiosity. Loves hanging out with Sebastian when she can. Also quite introverted, but she makes friends really easily. She likes hanging out with her dads sometimes, but she doesn't share many of their interests. Loves all things biology. Name: Franklin “Frank” James Blackwood-Sims Gender: Cisman Age: 9 Appearance: Short orange hair, bright green eyes, pale skinned (Caucasian), covered head to toe in freckles, wears glasses (round frames) but they're almost always cracked (much to Jon's frustration), has a gap between his front teeth, wears a lot of outdoorsy gear and shorts, insists on wearing his safari explorer hat everywhere he goes, etc. Personality: Absolute wild child; he wants to play sports and run around outside as much as he can, something neither of his dads can relate to, but they encourage him to pursue his interests and be his own person. He really wants to be an explorer of some kind when he grows up, and he adores animals with all his heart. Very extroverted. (Marked by the Vast/Eye)

Name: Sasha Hope Blackwood-Sims Gender: Ciswoman Age: 6 Appearance: Dark brown hair, light brown eyes, covered in dark freckles, mixed race (Caucasian/African), wears a lot of light greens and blues, loves wearing princess themed dresses, carries her stuffed T-Rex “Mr. Chompy” everywhere she goes, has a lot of hairbands, wears glasses (round frames), etc. Personality: She's still pretty young, so she's obviously only just beginning to become more of her own person/have a personality, but so far she's taking a lot after Jon and follows him around everywhere he goes. She looks and acts a lot like OG!Sasha, not that her dads know this. Name: Kingsley Bruno Hussain-Tonner Gender: Cisman Age: 15 Appearance: Tall as all hell, long dark red hair, even darker brown eyes, mixed race (Latinx/Arab), has a scar running down the right side of his head, wears (Daisy’s) his mom’s old leather jacket around, has the most torn up jeans known to man, wears glasses, always has bandages around his knuckles, refuses to wears shoes/socks, etc. Personality: Born rebel. He’s been getting into trouble since he could walk, and he can’t help but take pride in that. Good friends with Sebastian, even if he thinks he’s a bit too nervous for his own good. Loves wrestling with Daisy whenever she’s willing to. Teases his sister a lot. Bit of an asshole, but he’s got a heart of gold under all that angst. (Marked by the Hunt)

Name: Bethany “Annie” Willow King-Barker Gender: Ciswoman Age: 9 Appearance: Second tallest of the triplets, short red hair (curly), bright green eyes, mixed race (Caucasian/Latinx), her face and arms are absolutely covered in dark freckles, wears the most oversized sweaters, sweatpants are the best pants, etc. Personality: The firstborn of the triplets, Beth has a very no nonsense attitude, yet she still follows her siblings into all kinds of shenanigans (mostly because she goes along with whatever Matilda says). Pretty put together, but she's an eccentric bookworm and would much rather sit inside and read than play outside. (Marked by the Eye)

Name: Matilda Joy King-Barker Gender: Transwoman Age: 9 Appearance: Tallest of the triplets, long blonde hair, light brown eyes, mixed race (Caucasian/Latinx), wears jeans with a skirt, has ballerina shoes (wears them damn near everywhere), tank tops are the best shirts ever invented, wears a ginormous adventurer’s backpack everywhere, always has some kind of big ribbon in her hair, etc. Personality: The secondborn of the triplets, Matilda is almost always the leader and insists that her siblings follow her along on adventures. In a no!kira world, both fem!L and fem!light have a crush on misa. how do they try to impress her?

Beyond Birthday “accidentally” (its totally on purpose, he just doesn’t want to admit it) gets involved with the Kira case, and he and Misa become friends while they both annoy light.

Light Yagami wakes up in his teenage bedroom after he died at the Yellow Box warehouse. He still has all his memories, and it’s exactly one day before he originally found the death note.

The Kira case ended years ago, the Wammy’s House is shut down. Only very few of the original Wammy’s kids are still in touch with each other. Linda hasn’t talked to anyone from Wammy’s in years. One day, Near knocks on the front door of her atelier in LA.

Light Yagami is for whatever reason a Wammy’s kid. (Pre-canon, so not even LABB has happened yet, and we’re ignoring the timeline, so L, Light, Beyond, and the other Wammy’s kids (Near, mello, matt, linda) are all the same age.) Chaos ensues.

Fantasy!AU. The noble knight Light Yagami was tasked with slaying the “evil” monster Ryuk. On his journey through a fantasy land while trying to find and defeat the beast he meets many people, like the cutesy goth witch Misa Amane, the baker’s son L Lawliet (Watari’s the baker) and his twin Beyond Birthday, or the group of 4 students from a wealthy orphanage (Wammy’s House is the orphanage, Linda, Matt, Mello, and Near are the students).

Hailee’s Makeup Set

Hailee’s Makeup Set is a set of stylized goth harlequin makeups that I painted about five years ago for a high-res model that I named Hailee who to this day is one of my favorites that I ever created. I recently started working on converting her unique makeups and tattoos for use in the Sims 4. This post contains her makeups.

This set contains three parts: one face paint with ten swatches, one brow with three swatches, and one blush with five swatches. The face paint is the main course of this set. It contains the eyeshadow, lipstick, and all the main decorative elements of the makeup. The brow contains the decorative/stylized brow in two styles; one is straight black while the other blends in a bit more with skin tone. The third brow is completely transparent for when you don’t want your Hailee to have any brows at all. As for the blush, it contains three shades of pale white in three intensities (use the lightest intensity for light skin tones, medium for medium skin tones, and the highest intensity for dark skin tones) and then two bonus blushes that are “pale dirty” for an extra dynamic “gothy” look to the makeups.

All three parts include custom thumbnails and have been disabled for random townies. Don’t forget to use the blush when using the face paints, they just don’t look right with out it! Be sure to check out the other images in this post to see all the various makeup presets and some of their combinations.

NOTES:

Keep in mind that some makeups will look different depending on your Sim’s facial structure and skin tone! If there’s enough requests for it, I may share my Hailee Sim (the one shown in the previews) so you can experience the makeups as they were intended to be seen. Just let me know.

My utopia is literally a place where I don't have to feel overwhelmed and overpowered when trying to express myself professionally or emotionally, because of overbearing aggressive forces of masculine energy. I want to feel at peace when I am outside, and I don't want to feel threatened or violated. I don't want to feel like it's my responsibility to educate men to be better, because it's emotionally exhausting and I always find myself doing that when I'm hurt.

Okay, so the space I would imagine is the wild from Madagascar where alex goes like who's the cat Im the cat. And there would be no gender like no dicks or vaginas, And anyone could fall asleep anywhere without any fear, And it would be summer all the time And everyone minds their own business and are introverts somewhat Also the houses should be made of clear glass

Earth’s balance has been restored. We accommodate/conform to nature rather than dominate it. • Live music is played in every restaurant • Artistic expression is seen as essential to childhood development • Education is provided to all who seek it wherein history is taught from multiple perspectives, science is taught as tried and true, and language is taught as adaptable and ever-changing • Homelessness eradicated. • Plenty of public spaces where children can run around freely and people can gather without fear & without having to buy something • Dressing colorfully isn’t deemed unprofessional • We can communicate with animals which allows us to respect their space and autonomy 4. I guess my version of a utopia would look kind of like a combination of nature and modernist architecture (visually). Like a bunch of glass and wood buildings with trees. And some luscious as fuck gardens. I don’t know I was watching this thing on Japanese homes so I’m kinda obsessed with that right now.As far as the values of the society, I envision a utopia where education of all kinds is accessible to all people. And, it’s mad cheesy, I see it as a society where acceptance and respect have more value than wealth. Where all people are considered equal, yet everyone is able to laugh at their differences without hate behind it. I imagine there would only be public forms of transportation, excluding bikes and the like. Or we would have at least developed some super modern version of a car that doesn’t run on fuel. I don’t really know if I am doing this right? But I would just want it to look real sexy with lots of glass, modernist architecture and nature. As well as a high focus on providing equal opportunity for all people. Where money doesn’t get you the education that all people deserve. 5. My utopia is a beautiful jungle with all my best friends, mother, khalas and my sisters. We are able to talk to animals, and for some reason I’m imagining the hybridity between humans and animals so I’m half tiger, like the one from fantasia. Our main goal in life is to discover the rest of the world at our own pace, so we are travellers. We go everywhere and visit the sites and places that already exist in the world but there is no one on earth besides us. 6. My utopia would probably be a world where I’m completely alone ... I think that so much of my anxiety about living stems from an inability to feel a true connection to anyone or anything. Which I recognize is an internal problem, hence the isolating factor of this dream. When I think of inner peace I imagine my body floating in a pristine blue lagoon, held by the cusp of a mountain range. Everything is kaleidoscopic; the veil between worlds is thin enough to transcend each plane (my personal philosophy follows 7 planes of existence but you don’t need to make all of those lmao) if needed. What is important to me about this utopia is being able to exist without any kind of surveillance. There is no entry point to/for the other; it’s simply a place to play and experience the corporeal body as it is 7. I think my idea of a feminist Utopia is firstly very green. It’s tech heavy but in a very green space in a perfect future where the world fixed climate issues- it’s a really integrated system like you know that one green skyscraper that they’re gonna make? And i think it’s just very tender and the world is large but made of small moments if that makes sense There’s no rushing, there's a real focus on process as we have moved from a capitalist pace and everyone creates because it’s a human urge 8. My Utopia is my abuelitas house, where the candles are always lit and it always smells like a restaurant. My sister is doing everyone's birth charts and my abuelita is telling us ghost stories. The recurring dream I have of this scene is a more dimly lit space but with more colors and with my dog chocolate who recently died. 9. I want my Utopia to be all pink because that's the utopic color I’ve sort of planted in my consciousness. It’s not just pink, but rainbow. There are butterflies and animals everywhere. When you zoom out of it, it looks like a doll house but we can use the sims principle to build our own little worlds for ourselves. We can walk into the little blocks anytime we want and we all help each other build these worlds (only females) 10. Venus flytrap that sucks in rapists, A sky where you can actually see the moon. Clean air maybe? A truck which transforms your plastic into wax crayons, Wonder woman belts and capes, Virtual Lenses that let me see my notes when I'm going through social anxiety, Nails that transform into weapons, Fecal-matter vibes for humans 11. The setting of my Utopia would be set in a South Asian setting with the busy streets and markets and the same architecture. I would like to add gothic architecture in my Utopia as well just because I always felt like I wanted to see how those two forms of architecture would mesh. Except I would want to see all of this as a cyberpunk scene with bright neon lights and space shuttles at all times. So women actually could walk freely at night in the midst of bright lights and escape into space anytime they would want to on the streets of India. I would want to live in a huge castle with my friends and wear jewelry and bright clothes. I would want men to live in my world actually, but I don't want to be in proximity with them? And they would just live their own lives but with ‘reversed oppressed roles’ hah 12. My Utopia is like that crazy mixture of lisa frank/barbie fairytopia and hot topic. Except I can talk to my cat and only my best friends and mom exist in it. There is also nature but also robots. You can see the moon and the stars at all times 13. Firstly I think feeding and farming takes up most of people’s physical labor and time. I think the only reason we work is to feed ourselves thrice a day and that is super unnecessary. I wish eating wasn’t a thing in my Utopia, just to get rid of that excess labor. I do want fruit trees and nature to exist though but each fruit would have its own healing powers that came with it. In this Utopia there would be a Matriarchy. I would want my Utopia to look like the Botticelli ‘Birth of Venus Painting. I want to live in huge seashells as houses. There is romance, love and friendships but there is no monogamy, because I think monogamy instantly makes any world dystopic. I think female friendships should be celebrated more than the romance between a man and woman in Utopias. If there is that kind of hetero bullshit mentality there should be no masculine and femnine traits that can affect those kind of relations despite not being monogamous. I would also want to have contact with the other planets in my utopia. 14. Probably definitely no men. I don’t really care if they exist and aren’t here or if they don’t exist i just don’t wanna see one unless i wanna ya kno? Also any homophone or terf or anything is immediately comically ejected out of the city like with a big spring. Actually, they’re ejected directly into a classroom that teaches them to be nice, they deserve a chance i mean what if they’re like 11. I don’t really have any specific aesthetic ideas of what it would look like. God id love to be able to walk around without fear, especially at night. But like aesthetically ya kno ya girl goth. I want drama i want pizazz. I want houses with two long staircases inside. I want ppl out on the streets looking like those fecal matter fashion ppl. Just some wack ass hunger games body mods bcuz when women r left alone i bet they’d all go crazy go stupid. I want the Winchester house with doors leading nowhere and staircases that go into the wall. Not to sound cliche but i looove gothic architecture. Like all the spikes and arches and tall tall spires. I also rlly love the concept of New Orleans. I imagine irl it isn’t how it is in my head but in my head it’s so soooky and magical. Just like witchcraft and vampires and everyone’s wearing silk and velvet or grunge clothes or like chunky sweaters. But just everything is so so old and haunted but the ghosts are nice and the cemeteries bang 15. In my Utopia I would like to walk into my office space without my male coworker making a sexual comment to my face without me giggling at it so I can keep my job and professionalism. I would like to be able to walk at night without thinking where I kept my pen to protect myself if someone attacks me. I would like to go out in NYC at night with my female friends without thinking I need to bring a male friend so he can shoo away the men who don’t let us dance on the dance floor. I would like to be friends with more males without having my brain tell me he might have a different intention with me. I would like to live in a world where if I tell someone I got abused they would believe me and understand I would have no reason to lie about it. Since it's not that simple I would like to live in a world with no men. Women would have tentacles that slapped them out of present day earth and we elevated as a human species where we have wings and our own thrones. The children are generated into angelic creatures where they co-exist with older people and there is no hierarchy. We finally get to live in a world which we deserve. 16. My Utopia is our current day world. Except I wouldn’t want my life to fall under this capitalist framework. There is Utopian socialism in my world. Everyone works together and there is no racism, sexism or xenophobia. Basically remove everything that is wrong with our modern day systems which is almost everything so i feel like i shouldn't even go there but you get the gist. There is no poverty, no diseases, no homelessness. 17. There is death but from a young age we learn to lose our loved ones and hopefully no one in this utopia will have to go through losing a loved one. Trauma and pain do not exist. I guess men shouldn’t exist? But they should! and they should learn how to be emotionally intelligent without having their mother/partner teach them. There should be no gender identity or internalizing the incarnation of heterosexuality. There should be more queer people out on the streets, if heterosexuals can show public display of affection so can queer people (but honestly lets cut the part out where I said hetereos can show PDA). There should be more celebration of friendships. Lets romanticize friendships instead of monogamy. That's my utopia itself. I guess in terms of my personal Utopia I would still want to be in my marriage (if men do exist) but I would want the narrative of co-dependency to disappear. I think in Utopias I wouldn’t want to live in the same house as my husband, at least not at 28. I need more freedom and independence spatially and I’m slowly preaching how marriages don’t need to be codependent and people need to have their own spaces and practices if they want to reach their ultimate utopian space. (idk how you can show marriage as an institution lol) Visually there should be no high rise buildings, and I’m sure there's space for every person in the world to have a home regardless. I would want to see coconut trees, gardens, and lakes around me, and everyone should have space to run around, play and swim!! 18. My Utopia is in the landscape of what hell looks like on Betty Boop and Looney Toons cartoons. There are gates to hell and only abusive men walk through it as we all sit on our thrones and play the role of God. We all hold our tridents with our pets sitting next to us. My cat evolves into a wild panther and eats the men who don't cooperate alive. But the only reason hell exists is to reverse the roles now. Men face the abuse and oppression we and our mothers went through on planet earth. They have a microchip inserted in their brains and play out the roles of everyday women's realities. If they finally learn and understand they can finally go back to earth and try to be decent human beings. If they don’t they are stuck in the role of an oppressed woman their whole lives. The surprise guests in this hell are slave owners and the microchip is inserted in their brains so they can experience what slavery was like as a slave. If they learn from the experience they have the option to set those slaves free and if they don’t they will be incarnated (Octavia Butler whomst!!) 19. My Utopia is Cairo, in that cliche Egyptian setting except with rainbow pyramids and a little more cyber-punk esque. We live in a middle eastern matriarchy. We ride our magic camels. I want it to be techno futurist? So there is technology but we aren’t addicted to tik-tok and instagram for gods sake. I want there to be lakes and oceans where there are mermaids and sea creatures and right now i'm imagining a huge octopus in the middle of the ocean with our houses built on top of the octopus. 20. We are all beings that can either choose to be corporeal and have a physical body or just be a floating consciousness. We can switch in and out of these forms. 21. We can modify our bodies in any way we please just by thinking about it. If you want to be a squiggly plant thing or a fucking circle or a humanoid, it’s up to you. We can talk to/communicate with ‘animals’ and we live in an interspecies society without species hierarchy. Nature first Or better yet, we are indistinguishable. Gender does not exist. Money doesn’t exist. Healthcare is based on kindness. Everyone goes through an hour of ego dissolution once a week. Pleasantview with a Twist Recap Spring 1

So, yeah I actually only played one season of Pleasantview with a Twist but it might be one of my favorite saves ever (Go download it here, if you don't have it already)! Read the recap under the cut (probably huge).

Goth Family Part 1:

Bella (Romance/grilled Cheese – Become Media Magnate; bisexual +Logical, Creative -Fatness; OTH Tinkering; Cancer (7/3/5/3/7) – Hopeless Romantic, Perfectionist, Neurotic, Disciplined, Good) returned to her family

Cassandra (Family/Popularity – Own 3 first-class Businesses; straight +Swimwear, Jewelry -red Hair; OTH Tinkering; Virgo (7/2/5/7/4) – Cat Person, Nurturing, Techie, Neurotic, Neat) and Don (Romance – Marry off 3 kids; straight +gray Hair, Charismatic -custom Hair; OTH Fitness; Leo (1/7/8/5/4) – Romantic, Loves to Swim, Slob, Adventurous, Self Assured) got married and moved to Don's Condo.

Mortimer (Knowledge/Fortune – Become Captain Hero; straight +Hats, Creative -Perfume; OTH Nature; Cancer (4/6/4/7/4) – Mooch, Genius, Green Thumb, Easily Impressed, Outgoing) and Bella decided to renew their vows now that she was back.

They hired a butler.

Mortimer joined the Garden Club

Dina (Fortune/Romance – 3 Pets reach Top of Career; straight +red Hair, Charismatic -Great Cook; OTH Nature; Sagittarius (2/8/1/8/6) – Born Salesperson, Flirty, Eco Friendly, Couch Potato, Slob) didn't take it so well that her old nemesis Bella has returned.

She kept coming over to kick the bin but the butler always greeted her so Mortimer had the chance to apologize to her and they are on okay terms again.

Caliente Family Part 1:

Dina and Nina (Romance – Graduate 2 Kids from College; bisexual +Stink, Good at Cleaning -black Hair; OTH Sports; Great Kisser, Vehicle Enthusiast, Adventurous, Loner, Disciplined) headed out to Downtown with some townies.

Nina met Daniel Pleasant (Romance/Fortune – Have 10 simultaneous Lovers; straight +Workaholic, Good Mechanic -Great Cook; OTH Tinkering; Virgo (6/3/6/4/6) – Snob, Non Committal, Black Thumb, Never Nude, Active) there and they got along pretty well. But Mary-Sue (Fortune/Family – Become Sports Expert; straight +custom Hair, Charismatic -Stink; OTH Music; Gemini (5/8/6/3/3) – Workaholic, Jealous, Virtuoso, Good Sense of Humor, Evil) was also around so they had to be careful.

Nina got a job as dancer and was fired the first day due to a bad chance card.

Dina tried to befriend a wolf.

The twins went Downtown again with Brandi Broke (Family/Romance – Become Captain Hero; straight +Jewelry, Charismatic -unemployed; OTH Arts; Aries (3/6/4/6/6) – Commitment Issues; Family Oriented, Artistic, Slob, Cheerful) and Nina met Daniel again, but jet again Mary-Sue was also around (I'm pretty sure she's controlling him).

Burb Family Part 1:

The Burbs moved back to Pleasantview and got a nice house.

John (Family – Have 10 Dream Dates; straight +Fatness, Swimwear -black Hair; OTH Nature; Aries (4/4/4/7/6) - Family Oriented, Sailor, Inabrobriate, Cheerful, Unlucky) and Lucy (Grow up, OTH Movies; Cancer (6/4/3/7/5) – Bookworm, True Slacker, Proper) wanted a dog so Jen (Fortune – Have 10 first Dates; straight +formal Wear, Full-face Make up -unemployed; OTH Music; Gemini (4/7/6/3/5) - Materialistic, Dance Machine, No Sense of Humor, Outgoing, Adventurous) took her daughter Downtown to buy one. They brought little mixed breed Amigo.

Lucy also met Justin Kim (Grow up; OTH Fitness; Aries (4/7/6/4/4) – Dog Person, Good Sense of Humor, Mean) and befriended him almost immediately.

John and Jennifer are desperately trying for a second kid.

Lucy is quite lazy with her homework and doesn't do so well at school.

Lothario Family Part 1:

Don finds out that he's pregnant. He's not sure why, but he has an idea...

He still tells Cassy he was abducted by aliens and Cassy is super excited to finally see alien hybrids herself.

Cassy is a Cat Person so when she's at work Don drives downtown to get her a cat. He buys the fluffy kitty Belinda.

Cassy finds herself pregnant too and it's a real struggle to keep two pregnant Sims alive.

They hire a maid to keep the house okay and it's Remington.

Don gave birth to twin girls, Annabeth (Loves to Swim (Don), Night Owl (Kaylynn) and Bianca (Adventurous (Don), Brooding (Kaylynn)). Cassy is a bit disappointed that they don't have alien skin, but at least they got alien eyes.

Broke Family Part 1:

Dustin (Fortune/Family – Have 10 best Friends; straight +Glasses, gray Hair -formal Wear; OTH Nature; Aries (3/6/4/6/6) – Ambitious, Angler, Slob, Self Assured) is struggling with his aspiration but it gets better when he had his first kiss with Angela (Popularity/Family – Have 10 first Dates; bisexual +Stink, red Hair -Hats; OTH Nature; Aquarius (4/3/9/7/5) – Dog Person, Family Oriented, Loves Outdoors, Shy) .

He taught Beau (Grow up; Gemini (6/7/4/3/5) – Star Quality, Social Butterfly) how to talk.

Brandi finds herself pregnant by her late husband.

She tries to maintain a friendship with the Caliente twins.

Beau grew up into a child (OTH Music; new trait: Mature) .

Brandi started painting, to get another small income.

Oldie Family Part 1:

Herb (Romance/Pleasure – Raise 10 Puppies or Kitten; straight +Make up, Athletic -red Hair; OTH Nature; Libra (2/8/1/8/6) – Commitment Issues, Party Animal, Technophobe, Coward, Slob) and Coral (Family/Fortune – Become a Rock Goddess; straight +Charismatic, Artistic -Athletic; OTH Movies; Virgo (6/3/6/4/6) – Ambitious, Nurturing, Dramatic, Socially Awkward, Mature) live in a nice small apartment with charming neighbors like Mr. Big, the Diva and the (female) date-able slob.

Coral invited the family of her daughter and tried to get through to Lilith (Popularity/Family – Reach Golden Anniversary; bisexual +Full-face Make up, black Hair -Hats; OTH Sports; Aquarius (2/3/8/5/3) – Equestrian, Match Enthusiast, Slob, Athletic). Herb was more successful.

Coral got a part-time job in a record store.

Mr. Big and the Diva became a thing.

Herb has a small thing going on with the date-able slob.

Pleasant Family Part 1:

Daniel tried his best to restore the relationship with Mary-Sue.

It didn't help that he was nauseous all the time.

Mary-Sue went bowling with her parents and Daniel found out he was pregnant.

He talked to Kaylynn (Family/Knowledge – Become Minister of Education; straight +Glasses, Jewelry -Good at Cleaning; OTH Tinkering; Aquarius (6/1/7/4/7) – Genius, Nurturing, Perfectionist, Brooding, Night Owl) when his wife was at work and she told him, that she didn't know she was a Pollinator until Don Lothario turned out pregnant too and she got herself tested. Daniel had no idea how to explain things to Mary-Sue.

She didn't believe him being abducted, they don't own a telescope so they argued the rest of the round.

The twins were around too, Angela loves taking care of the garden and Lil' started smoking...

Dreamer Family Part 1:

Darren (Knowledge/Family – Become Criminal Mastermind; straight +black Hair, custom Hair -Hats; OTH Nature; Aries (4/4/4/7/6) – Computer Whiz, Family Oriented, Gatherer, Clumsy, Friendly) was invited Downtown by Mortimer Goth. He agreed to go, I the hope Cassandra would be there too, but she wasn't

He started a fire and painted.

Dirk (Fortune – Become Captain Hero; straight +brown Hair, custom Hair -Hats; OTH Tinkering; Virgo (6/3/6/4/6) – Frugal, Handy, No Sense of Humor, Good) actually has a career centered LTW so he got a part-time job and will go to College soon. His grades sadly dropped since he never had time to do his homework.

Darren still mourns Darleen and accepted that Cassandra choose an other man.

Frat Household Part 1:

Joshua Ruben (Fortune/Romance – Woohoo 10 Sims; straight +Fitness, Full-face Make up -brown Hair; OTH Sports; Leo (1/8/6/5/3) – Frugal, Flirty, Soccer Player, Slob, Daredevil) started dating Tiffany Sampson (Knowledge/Pleasure – Become Space Pirate; straight +Swimwear, brown Hair -custom Hair; OTH Nature; Aries (4/5/4/6/6) – Perceptive, Party Animal, Angler, Erratic, Cheerful).

Ashley (Romance/Family – Become Criminal Mastermind; straight +Hats, brown Hair -Logical; OTH Sports; Leo (2/9/7/6/1) – Dislikes Children, Family Oriented, Footballer, Can't stand Art, Charismatic) made a bet that he would get Allegra Gorey (Knowledge – Become the Law; straight +Fatness, blonde Hair -Glasses; OTH Fitness; Pisces (5/2/9/2/7) – Computer Whiz, Healthy Lifestyle, Brave, Shy, No Sense of Humor) into bed before he graduated and instantly went out on his mission.

Castor Nova (Knowledge/grilled Cheese – Become Mayor; straight +Fatness, Fitness -Underwear; OTH Arts; Virgo (4/4/6/5/6) – Genius, Photographer's Eye, Unlucky, Athletic, Good) made out with Heather Huffington (Romance/Knowledge – Become Hall of Famer; straight + Glasses, blonde Hair -Jewelry; OTH Nature; Sagittarius (1/7/2/9/6) – Supernatural Fan, Great Kisser, Eco Friendly, Slob, Absent Minded) on a toga party and made every other girl on the campus hate him.

He also had his first woohoo with Heather on a party.

The boys lives revolve around dating, studying and parties really. Oh, and Pizza.

Sorority Household Part 1:

The girls reconciled after they were mad at Heather for getting Castor.

Heather and Tiffany are outdoor girls, so the got a small garden extension.

They also threw some parties.

Brittany Upsnott (Popularity/Fortune – Have 10 best Friends; straight +custom Hair, Logical -Glasses; OTH Sports; Capricorn (7/7/8/2/1) – Dog Lover, Mooch, Basketball Player, Diva, Mature) got a basketball court.

As with the Frat Boys, their lives are all around dating, studying, parties and Pizza.

Bright Household Part 1:

Turned out that Martin Ruben (Knowledge/Pleasure – Become the Law; straight +Fitness, Workaholic -blonde Hair; OTH Cuisine; Capricorn (8/3/2/5/7) – Supernatural Fan, Unstable, Natural Cook, Hydrophobic, Proper) was the mom of the group.

The all went downtown with Allegra and Ashley and all of his friends.

After some drinks Jane (Family/Fortune – Become City Planner; straight +Fitness, Workaholic -Swimwear; OTH Tinkering; Cancer (72/7/3/6) – Born Salesperson, Jealous, Technology Lover, Never Nude, Mature) and Martin kissed (without my doing!).

Jane was insecure about the kiss and the next day she asks Martin if he was serious about this or if it was just out of a mood. But it seems, that Martin really likes Jane.

They all are real nerds and spent most time reading, or in front of their PC. But Allegra and Martin also have to work out quite a bit.

Martin and Jane finally fell in love before their exams for the second semester.

Jane wanted an orchard tree, but Martin is the one to take car of it.

Kim Family Part 1:

Cynthia (Popularity/Family – Have 10 dream dates; straight +Fitness, formal Wear -Stink; OTH Music; Aries (4/7/6/4/4) – Cat Person, Jealous, Colorblind, Charismatic, Supernatural Skeptic) got a job in Politics and Robert (Fortune/Knowledge – Become Hall of Famer; straight +formal Wear, black Hair -Stink; OTH Sports; Gemini (4/7/7/3/4) – Snob, Computer Whiz, Boxer, Disciplined, Self Absorbed) as an athlete.

Cynthia and Bella Goth befriend over the welcome wagon.

She's also really popular with her colleagues and tried to help her son with his school work.

Goth Family Part 2:

Bella helped Alexander (Grow up; OTH Nature; Cancer (4/6/4/7/4) – Animal Lover, Loves the Heat, Excitable) with his homework and started a fire.

The next day her and Mortimer celebrate their second wedding and she congratulates her daughter on her pregnancy (in fact she's absolutely horrified at the thought of being a grandmother).

Only seconds after their wedding Alexander grows into a Romance teen (Romance/Popularity – Have 10 Dream Dates, straight +Stink, Great Cook -Workaholic; new trait: Irresistible).

Mortimer and Bella go on a second honey moon to Takemizu Valley. Mortimer wanted to go there since forever.

They experienced a lot there but it almost always ended with them being chased by bees.

Back home Alexander's room got a little big boy makeover and he got the computer he wanted for his birthday.

He breaks the computer on the very first day and Bella almost dies trying to fix it herself.

Alexander is surprisingly popular with one of the exchange students and he experienced his first kiss.

Only thinking about this made him struggle with school.

Caliente Family Part 2:

Dina invited Brandi over and the twins were excited to become godmothers.

They also invited Goopy in, but none of them was really turned on by him.

There was a bad storm that ended with a burning palm tree and Goopy being stuck by lightning in the hot tub.

Nina invited Don over to woohoo.

Dina got a job as an architect.

Nina cut her hair short.

Dina really wanted a Dog and so the girls went to buy a proud rottweiler called Chino. And Nina ran into Daniel Pleasant again.

Nina got a Job as an Adventurer.

Nina invited Daniel downtown to go clubbing. The were only dancing, started to slow-dance, when they were captured by Mary-Sue. I'm telling you, she's spying on him! That was the dagger hit for their marriage.

Nina and Daniel still had a pleasant date and plan to see each other again.

Burb Family Part 2:

Jennifer is pregnant!

She uses her new free time to help Lucy with her school work, but that pregnancy is really draining her so they don't get far.

John loves his wife even more now that she's carrying their second child.

Jennifer invites the family over for Lucy's birthday. She has no idea, that her brother is pregnant too, and he's hiding it well (He's wearing an outfit without preg-morph).

Lucy grew into a knowledge teen (Knowledge – Become a General; straight +Hats, red Hair -blonde Hair; new trait: Perceptive).

She is finally able to catch up on her homework with her mother's help.

Lothario Family Part 2:

Living with twins and a pregnant wife drives Don crazy!

At night during a thunder storm their son, Christian Goth-Lothario is born (Self Assured (Don), Neurotic (Cassandra))!

The next day Cassy invites her family to meet the new family members.

Once the guests are gone, they head to practice for the next nooboo. Well Don enjoys the practicing, and Cassandra enjoys the thought of an other baby.

They have to move houses before the next round starts.

Broke Family Part 2:

Brandi gave birth to a third boy, David Broke (Commitment Issues (Brandi), Nurturing (Skip)).

Dustin is really good at school and brought an A+ home!

He is also really popular with all the young guys in his criminal field, his best friend is Loren Teens.

Brandi invites her friends to visit Club Dante were Dina meets Malcolm Landgaab.

Oldie Family Part 2:

Coral could talk Herb into adopting three siblings that lost their parents in a car crash. The children will arrive one after an other since the oldest is still hospitalized.

They make use of the elixir of life to be there for their new children long enough.

The next day they welcome the first of the three kids at their home: Baby Elizabeth (Nurturing (Coral), Coward (Herb).

When Coral is at work, Herb tries his best being a good new Dad to Liz, but he still maintains his affair with the date-able slob.

The next morning they welcome the second sibling, toddler Katja (Grow up; Mature, Slob). Her crazy real parents even died her hair blue!

Pleasant Family Part 2:

Once Mary-Sue is home from work she finds that Lilith invited her boyfriend Dirk and his father Darren over. Darren is a really handsome man to her...

She has enough of Daniel and his cheating. She senses that something is odd with his alien pregnancy and the twins of Cassandra's husband Don. They probably got involved with the same person and Mary-Sue really doesn't want to be in the center of this.

Angela is devastated about the divorce of her parents, so Mary-Sue buys her a small schnauzer called Dana.

Angela brings the same exchange student home, that Alexander Goth shared his first kiss with and she has to admit, that she's really cute...

The Burbs and the Dreamers are over and Mary-Sue and Darren REALLY get along well!

Dreamer Family Part 2:

Darren invited Mary-Sue over and well, things went well between them.

Dirk didn't take it that good and went outside to cry at his mother's grave.

Finally Mary-Sue and Darren fall in love and they have their first woohoo together.

Langerak Family:

Now that Mary-Sue kicked him out, Daniel is forced to move in with Kaylynn. She has a nice apartment with all her colleagues living in the same building.

Kaylynn is thrilled to be a real family. Daniel not so much. He always rolled wants about Nina Caliente.

He gave birth to twin boys, Fritz (Genius (Kaylynn), Active (Daniel) and Gunnar Langerak (Snob (Daniel), Perfectionist (Kaylynn).

Kay wants to be a teacher but yet she's stuck with her underpaid maid job.

Frat Household Part 2:

Joshua invited Tiff for a romantic home date and they experienced their very first woohoo.

There was more partying and woohooing.

After another wonderful date Josh proposed to Tiff.

Kevin (Family/Popularity) – Become Game Developer; straight +Fitness, Good at Cleaning, -Logical; OTH Arts; Leo (3/5/6/5/6) – Cat Lover, Nurturing, Avant Garde, Slob, Friendly) feels extremely left out with all his brothers dating steadily.

Ash can convince Allegra to kiss at a party and later invited her for their first real date. He starts to take their relationship serious and almost forgot the bet he did with his brothers.

Al and Ash have their very first woohoo, too.

They all are doing well at school.

Sorority Household Part 2:

Heather's and Tiffany's parties are always a blast.

Brittany wanted to throw a party too, but that one was a total disaster so she went into aspiration failure.

I brought them a bubble blower to raise her aspiration and now all the girls always do is blow bubbles, even Tiff.

Bright Household Part 2:

Heather came to visit her friend Martin and Allegra and her got into a fight.

Jane is really focused on her studies as she's graduating soon.

Shortly before her last exams Martin asked her to marry him once he's older and she agrees!

They go on their first real date and while I initially wanted them to wait until after their wedding, they did it in a changing booth...

Jane graduated with honors and threw a great graduation party.

Life goes on for Martin and Allegra as always, studying and taking care of the house. They hope to move in a third roommate soon though.

Kim Family Part 2:

Cynthia climbs the career ladder at an amazing speed.

Robert is about to get Justin into private school and after getting the house ready on his day off, they invite the headmaster over.

Cynthia makes Comfort Soup and Justin is accepted into private school!

Stacks Family:

Jane moved Downtown and rented a small very green house. Her neighbors are Brandi LeTourneu, Goopy GilsCarbo and Arcadia Bradshaw.

On her first night as an adult she went out with Castor Nova and some of his friends.

Fanon or Canon: The Questionable Fate of Bella Goth

When The Sims 2 came out, long term fans eagerly booted up Windows XP and launched the game, immediately discovering the absence of a popular character. Plumbob Post would not be a proper Sims-themed blog if I were not to address the red-dressed elephant in the room. That’s right, this post is dedicated to the one and only Bella Goth.

“Descended from a long line of occultists, mystics and decadents,” Bella Goth, the “elegant and athletic” matriarch of the Goth family, is undoubtedly the most well-known premade sim. She was introduced in The Sims alongside her husband, Mortimer, and her daughter, Cassandra, in a macabre mansion complete with a graveyard of ghosts. Very little information was given about Bella aside from the fact that she “enjoys a variety of activities from golf to miniature golf,” but she and her family quickly became fan favorites.

Subsequent expansion packs added more background to Mrs. Goth. In The Sims: Superstar, there is a poster featuring Bella, Mortimer, their neighbor, Bob Newbie, and a monkey. The description for this poster implies that she and Mortimer were at one time stars of a reality tv show similar to The Real World. The idea of Bella as an actress was later revisited in the console spinoff The Sims Bustin’ Out in which Bella is employed as a horror movie extra in the movie career.

In addition to having a history in acting, Bella is also implied to be of magical descent in The Sims Bustin’ Out, but this is not an isolated incident. The Goth family is featured extensively in promotional materials for The Sims: Makin’ Magic, the seventh and final expansion pack for the original game. In one render, Bella is shown brandishing a wand and enchanting a gnome, while Mortimer somehow magically waters a plant, and Cassandra struggles to hold back a dragon with a leash. As a result of these advertisements and Bella’s ancestry, it has become a common headcanon that she is a witch among fans and writers, such as Skell.

Imagine, or remember, a fan’s surprise upon loading the Goth family in The Sims 2 only to realize that Bella is mysteriously absent. On top of that, there is an additional Goth child, Alexander, and Cassandra is now an adult with a fiance and a job. Examining the memory panel of each family member reveals an interesting truth: Bella Goth was abducted by aliens.

I know, I know. Those of you that don’t play The Sims are probably thinking “Aliens in The Sims? What?!” Well, alien abductions in The Sims have existed since The Sims: Livin’ Large, but they play a much larger role in the second installment in the series. Mortimer and Cassandra both have memories of Bella’s abduction, but the story gets all the more confusing when one reads the neighborhood story in which it is stated that Bella was not at the Goth mansion at the time of her disappearance.

In fact, Bella Goth was last seen “scaling the deck” of Don Lothario’s condo. Who is Don Lothario? Good question. Don Lothario is none other than Cassandra Goth’s fiance, a romance sim with three girlfriends on the side. This raises a number of questions. Why was Bella with Don? Was she having an affair? How does Don relate to her disappearance?

Most of these questions are left without a definite answer in The Sims 2, but there are several details that have spawned many a fan theory. Firstly, Don is involved with a dynamic duo known as the Caliente sisters, Nina and Dina. Interestingly, Dina is in love with Mortimer at the start of the game and was previously married to none other than Michael Bachelor, Bella Goth’s brother.

As a result of her fortune aspiration and her canon want to “marry a rich sim,” many fans characterize her as wanting to get rid of Bella. A simple look at Dina’s family tree adds fuel to this fire; the Calientes’ grandfather was an alien. Thus, fans everywhere assumed that Dina and Nina must have arranged for Bella’s abduction with Don’s help. This paints a pretty grim picture for Cassandra and Mortimer as well as the deceased Michael Bachelor.

Even so, there are many, many more clues as to where exactly Bella Goth is. If the player switches from Pleasantview to Strangetown, they may notice a familiar face in the neighborhood thumbnail. Playing Strangetown for any amount of time may lead the player to come across a very special townie. A townie named Bella Goth.

This Bella wears the same red dress and heels as the Goth matriarch and shares her bio from The Sims, but her facial structure is different, and she retains none of her original memories. She is also much younger than her husband, who is in the elder stage while she is still early in her adult life stage. As a result, fans have varying interpretations of who this lookalike is. Is she the real Bella Goth? Did the aliens create an imperfect clone? Could this Bella be simply a well-dressed imposter?

Maxis canon assumes the Strangetown Bella and the Pleasantview Bella to be the same person as of The Sims 2 for PSP, in which Bella still does not remember her family, but her secret directly references Mortimer. Additionally, EA released an “interview” where Bella Goth answers common fan questions. While this interview is canon, a large portion of fans disregard the revelations, or lack thereof, that it presents.

The interview reiterates that Strangetown and Pleasantview Bella are one and the same yet again, but adds several key details. Firstly, Bella recalls being in a ship surrounded by green men, confirming that she was indeed abducted. Secondly, she elaborates that she was only visiting Don Lothario to welcome him to the neighborhood, and that all she remembers was being on the roof with him and seeing a “flash of light.” There was no affair between her and the green-eyed casanova.

The most interesting reveal of the interview is that Mortimer created the Elixir of Life, an aspiration reward in The Sims 2 that adds three days to the life stage of whichever sim drinks it. Bella seems to think that someone influenced the Caliente sisters to draw Mortimer away from her because she was a distraction to his work. While the latter theory is often dismissed, the idea that dear old Morty invented the Elixir has been fully embraced by most fans.

While the interview confirmed the ideas of fans everywhere, there was a definite backlash to the voice it gave Mrs. Goth. Many players felt that her flippant attitude was out of character, and that many of the reveals were anticlimactic. As a result, most storytellers cherry pick which details they consider canon.

Luckily, the open-ended sandbox that is The Sims 2 leaves the fate of the Goth family in the player’s hands. One person may be content to accept Strangetown Bella as the true Bella, while another may not. Some simmers may have Dina and Mortimer get married and live out their happily ever after. Others may choose to reunite the Goths. I’m certain there are those out there who say “Forget Mortimer!” and marry Dina and Bella. Such is the beauty of The Sims. To quote the marketing tagline: “you decide.”

While a novel could be written on each and every Bella-oriented easter egg in the games, this article focused solely on canon story details in the first two installments and their spinoffs. If there is sufficient interest, there will be a follow up concerning Bella in the most recent games.
