Ignore this post, my HoTD moots, this is going to be a long post you don't care about.
it's PJO/HoO rant time.
What can I say, Tumblr brings me back to the simpler times of 2016.
Y'all baby Frank too much. Like. Way too much.
Leo was a dick at times, no doubt. But I think y'all forget Frank was absolutely being antagonistic because he was paranoid over Leo looking like Hazel's ex. You can argue it's because Leo fired on New Rome, but Frank himself counters that claim and Leo is initially grateful Frank didn't blame him.
Tumblr media
Frank was also the first one to bring up Sammy, not Hazel, just before that. Later, all before Leo says anything against Frank, Piper thinks Frank's behavior is because it seems like Leo and Hazel had a history. This is a longer bit of a book scene, but I feel like it gets ignored.
Tumblr media
This is still before Leo says anything against Frank. I will be saying that a number of more times. Leo just complimented his ability and Frank responds with a pretty catty comment about Leo's physical abilities. You can see the difference in how he reacts even more clearly in a scene before, when Hazel is commenting on Frank turning into a dragon
Tumblr media
Frank doesn't counter the idea to become a dragon, he just has an issue with leaving Hazel with Leo. Leo again, so far, isn't upset with Frank. He wants to prove he's trustworthy.
When Piper does her fun little exorcism on the lads, this happens. I have to say yet again. Leo has not insulted Frank at this point. Not a huge issue, Frank was a bit shaken up, but it was still kind of a dick move to just. Let him hit the dirt. I'll excuse it because it is very funny.
Tumblr media
Later when they find out about Nico, this scene below happens. Leo has still not said anything against Frank at this point - Jason even agrees repeatedly with Leo, but Frank only glares at Leo.
Tumblr media
After this, when Hazel is upset and leaves, Leo starts to likely say he should go apologize, but Frank cuts him off saying, "you've done enough."
We're a few hundred pages through the book now at this point. Frank has insulted Leo, he doesn't trust him, doesn't want Hazel around him, singles him out, and literally let him fall to the ground. Leo has not said anything against him yet.
Even Percy notes that Frank's mood is tied to his relationship with Hazel, and Leo seemingly threatening that.
Tumblr media
(and for those who are curious - baleful means threateningly, or to wish harm)
This is when, after a good chunk into the novel, we reach Leo's first dig at Frank.
Tumblr media
Then ~the iguana incident~ comes not long after, but if you're going to call this Leo bullying him, you'd have to include... Everyone. Since they literally all laughed at Frank turning into a lizard to get out of the finger trap. Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, everyone. Not a fun moment for Frank, I sympathize with him there, but I wouldn't personally call this pointed bullying. You may disagree but I do not think at the very least that Riordan intended it to be seen as bullying. This is followed by Leo sending Frank's dirty laundry out on Buford for awhile (though he does claim that it would be cleaned and returned to him, eventually we do learn the laundry is lost. This was not a planned thing by Leo, and I don't understand why this is characterized by some people as him purposely throwing away Frank's clothes.)
All this eventually leads to this exchange.
Tumblr media
Gee, I don't know, Frank. Maybe because you keep glaring at him anytime you're around him to the point even Percy was like oh boy I got to get him off the ship before he folds Leo like a pretzel.
Later, Frank actually helps save Leo in eagle form, but ends up injured in the process - and drops Leo. I really don't think Frank meant to drop him, but Leo thinks Frank dropped him on purpose. That's kind of a big thing, even though it's a minor line.
Tumblr media
Then, Frank is back to being untrusting of Leo. He's glowering, glaring, and again - doesn't want to leave Leo with Hazel.
When Hazel is alone with Leo, she finally takes the time to defend Frank.
Tumblr media
So, clearly, Frank scares Leo.
Leo scares Frank.
It's a fun horrible little wicked web! It's almost like the author intended them to buttheads! Shocking!
I've run out of pictures to add!
I could and probably will continue this nonsense, but the general point of this rant is Frank is not just some totally sweet big guy who has never done anything wrong in his entire life, and characterizing him as such just makes him boring. He's self conscious, insecure, and lashes out at- boy, doesn't that sound familiar. Anyway.
He was kind of a dick to Leo, and Leo was kind of a dick to him in turn.
I'm pretty sure I had a better ending for this originally, that summed everything up, but now I'm distracted and just bitter they didn't kiss.
I didn't even have time to reach their interactions underwater.

She didn’t know why she hated Jason. She just had that feeling deep in her gut ever since they “met” in that stupid bus to the Wilderness School, when she couldn’t remember her own name nor where she came from.
The only thing her stupid mind remembered is that she really didn’t like the boy sitting beside her. He seemed so… perfect. Like, the annoying type of perfect. The type of perfect that makes anyone fawn over you.
With that stupid messy blond hair, that stupid tanned skin and stupid strong arms, she just knew she disliked him, a very lot.
When he opened his eyes, the first thing they saw was her sea green gaze analyzing him. He grimaced immediately, as if realizing that he hated you too.
And suddenly, something came to her. Jason. That’s his name?
“Finally the sleeping beauties are up, huh?” A boy that looked like a latino gremlin with pointy ears teased. The girl beside him slapped him playfully on the arm.
“Shut up, Leo. Let the couple.” The girl in the front seat said, giggling ever so slightly.
‘Couple’? She and blondie were a couple? When she heard those words, she finally realized the position they were in.
Her head was laid on his shoulder, and it seemed like they had fallen asleep like that. He had a small wet stain on the sleeve of his shirt, that looked a lot like drool, probably hers. But the weirdest part of it all was that they were holding hands. Like, intertwined level.
She immediately let go and pulled away from him, her mind still dizzy and groggy from the slumber she was in.
“What the-“ She mumbled, trying to pull herself from that sleepy state she was in, but the boy beside her reacted first
“Y/n?” He asked, staring right into her eyes. He also seemed to instantly dislike her.
“Listen here, cupcakes!” A squeaky voice yelled out from the front of the bus. She drifted her eyes towards where the sound came from.
It was clearly the baseball coach. He wore a cap pulled low in his hair. Had a weird stubble and sour face, as if he had eaten something rotten. A whistle hung from his neck and there was a megaphone clipped to his belt. He’d be fairly scary if he wasn’t five foot zero.
“Stand up, Coach Hedge!” A student jeered.
“I hear that!” His eyes scanned over the bus as if looking for the culprit, but his eyes locked at Jason and Y/n. His scowl deepened, and she realized that the tiny man knew that they shouldn’t be there. She got scared for a few seconds if he was going to call them and ask how the hell did they got there. She had no idea what she would answer in that case.
The man looked away, clearing his throat. "We'll arrive in five minutes! Stay with your partner. Don't lose your worksheet. And if any of you precious little cupcakes cause any trouble on this trip, I will personally send you back to campus the hard way." He mimed hitting a homerun with a wooden baseball bat.
“Can he talk to us like that?” The blond boy - Jason - asked, but this time directed to the other two people sitting in front of him.
The pretty girl just shrugged him off. “Always does. This is the Wilderness School. ‘Where kids are the animals’.” She said, grinning as if this was some sort of joke that the pair was supposed to be on.
“This is some kind of mistake.” Y/n said, finally sitting up straight. “I… I shouldn’t be here.”
“Yeah, right.” Latino Gremlin - Leo - spoke up again. “We’ve all been framed. I didn’t run away six times. You didn’t blow up a gas station. Piper didn’t steal a BMW.”
That last one earned him a harder slap, but this time with no hint of playfulness, from the pretty girl named Piper. “I didn’t steal that car, Leo!”
Piper and Leo, Y/n thought. Are we friends?
"Oh, I forgot, Piper. What was your story? You 'talked' the dealer into lending it to you?" He raised an eyebrow at Jason, as if to say can you believe her?
Piper looked at Y/n with hopeful eyes, as if she was supposed to believe her or back her up, but as far as she knew, she'd never met the girl before today. Still, Piper looked at her and talked to her and Jason as if they'd been friends long enough to share an inside joke and maybe a few secrets.
What the hell is going on?
"Anyway," Leo said, "I hope you've got your worksheet, Jason, cause I used mine for spit wads days ago." He looked up from fidgeting with the buttons of his army jacket, frowning at Jason's confused stare. "Why are you looking at me like that? Somebody draw on my face again? Piper, I swear -"
"I don't know you," Jason said.
“As much as I hate to agree with blondie here,” Y/n said, grimacing at the boy beside her as he rolled his eyes. “but I don’t know you either.”
Leo rolled his eyes with an amused grin. "Sure. I'm not your best friend, I'm his evil twin," he joked.
"Leo Valdez!" Coach Hedge yelled from the front. "Problem back there?"
Leo winked at Jason and Y/n. "Watch this." He turned back toward the front of the bus. "Sorry, Coach! I was having trouble hearing you. Could you use your megaphone, please?"
The coach unclipped his megaphone and continued calling out instructions, but his voice was distorted.
The students cracked up, growing louder as the coach tried again and the megaphone blared: "The cow says moo!"
"Valdez!" Coach Hedge yelled.
Piper stifled a laugh. "How did you do that?"
Leo flashed a tiny screwdriver at them before returning it to his sleeve. "I'm a special boy."
"Guys, seriously," Jason said, his tone pleading. "What are we doing here? Where are we going?"
Y/n looked expectantly at the two students in front of them, hoping whatever answer they gave would jog her memory, though those hopes weren't particularly high.
"Are you guys joking?" Piper asked, her eyebrows furrowed in vague concern.
“No! I have no idea who you- “Y/n began, but Leo cut her off almost immediately.
“Of course they’re joking, Pipes. They’re trying to get me back on interrupting they make out sesh last year, aren’t ya’? I already said sorry, guys. I’d never walk in on you two on my own accord, trust. Don’t wanna be traumatized.”
Y/n immediately felt her cheeks heat up, but she didn’t know if it was from anger or embarrassment. She grimaced again as if she tasted something sour out of nowhere.
“Uhm, I'm sorry to disappoint but, uh…” She hesitated a bit before glancing at the blond boy beside her. He didn’t seem too bad, but she still had that feeling deep in her gut that she hated him. “I’d never make out with him.”
The boy just scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Like I'm the worst option between me and you.”
Piper and Leo glanced at each other with confused expressions. They couldn’t understand what was happening between their friends.
“Uh… okay… what’s going on here? Why are you two bickering as if you aren’t completely in love with each other?” Leo asked.
“In what?” Y/n asked, her voice laced with disgust and disbelief.
“Not possible. At all.” He added, shaking his head eagerly.
“I don’t even know what you’re talking about.” Y/n said, exasperatedly.
“Leo. I think they’re serious.” Piper said, as if you two weren’t right in front of her and listening to every bit of conversation they had.
“We are!” Jason insisted. “Well, at least I am. Don’t know ‘bout her.” He said, pointing discretely at Y/n, who hissed and elbowed him on the ribs. “Ow!”
“Oh, please-”
“That’s it!” Coach Hedge yelled from the front. “The back row has just volunteered to clean up after lunch!”
The rest of the kids cheered as Leo muttered, "There's a shocker."
Piper's concerned gaze flickered between Jason and Y/n. "Did you guys hit your heads or something? You really don't know who we are?"
Y/n shook her head, Jason following suit.
Helplessly, he muttered, "I don't even know who I am."
Piper frowned. "Do you remember each other?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
Y/n met Jason's eyes with disgust. She knew that she knew him, but she didn't have any memories of him besides the sound of his name and the feeling that they hated each other. Quietly, she said, "Maybe?"
Jason nodded, reluctantly.
"Huh," Piper said, her brows furrowed together in a picture of deep thought. “Let’s figure this out later, we’re already here.”
༺♱༻
The bus dropped them off in front of a large red museum, which sat in the middle of nowhere. All Yn could see was desert everywhere she looked. A cold wind blew over them, making her shiver. She wasn't dressed for the cold weather - she had on a pair of dark-wash blue jeans, worn black combat boots, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt that was about two sizes too big for her. Despite how comfortable it was, though, it wasn't nearly warm enough for the biting cold nipping at her fingers.
"Alright, crash course for the amnesiacs," Leo said.
"We go to the Wilderness School, which means we're the ‘bad kids.' Your family, or the court, or whoever, decided you were too much trouble, so they shipped you off to this lovely prison - sorry, 'boarding school' - in Armpit, Nevada, where you learn valuable nature skills like running ten miles a day through the cacti and weaving daisies into hats! And for a special treat we go on 'educational' field trips with Coach Hedge, who keeps order with a baseball bat. Is it all coming back to you guys?"
Y/n shook her head and muttered a small “No.”
She looked at the kids around them, wondering what they'd all done to be sentenced to a school for delinquents - and what she had done to get sent there, too.
Leo rolled his eyes. "You're really gonna play this out, huh? Okay, so the four of us started here together this semester. We're totally tight. Jason does everything I say, gives me his dessert, does my chores -"
"Leo!" Piper scolded.
"Fine, ignore that last part. But we are friends - and we have fun, at least when you two aren't busy sucking face or having those intense-looking, deep talks where you talk about life and the future and whether those children's books with the bears are called Berenstein or Berenstain-"
"Leo, stop it!" Piper said. "I think they have amnesia or something. We've got to tell someone."
Leo scoffed. "Who, Coach Hedge? He'd try to fix them by whacking them with his baseball bat."
The coach was at the front of the group, barking orders and blowing his whistle to keep the kids in line. Every few minutes he'd glance back at Jason and Y/n and scowl.
"Leo, they need help," Piper insisted. "They could be concussed or-"
"Yo, Piper." One of the other guys in their group dropped back to join the four teenagers as they headed into the museum. He wedged himself between Piper and Y/n, throwing an arm around Piper's shoulders. "Don't talk to these bottom-feeders. You're my partner, remember?"
"Go away, Dylan," Piper grumbled. "Y/n/n's my partner, not you."
The new guy looked at Y/n, something strange flashing over his face before he replaced it with a blinding grin. "Coach said there'll have to be a group of three, what with the odd number, so it's both of your lucky days!" He threw his other arm around Y/n's shoulders, and she bristled immediately, something like dread settling heavily in her stomach. As he dragged Piper and Y/n away from Jason and Leo, she glanced back at them one last time, meeting Jason's eyes for a moment and rolling her own before Dylan was walking her and Piper deeper into the museum.
༺♱༻
Y/n didn't need her memories to know she hated guys like Dylan. She met him barely five minutes ago and she already wanted to punch him to unconsciousness for several different reasons, and she didn’t think she was a violent person. Then again, she didn’t remember even who she was, so her opinion of herself wasn’t truthful. The boy kept his attention focused on Piper, which shouldn’t bother Y/n. But she saw the look of discomfort in Piper’s face every time he spoke with her and touched her.
Everything, without exception, that came out of the guy's mouth was either a flirty remark or something cocky about himself that neither of the girls really wanted to hear. Less than five minutes around him and she already knew everything there was to know about him – he was cocky, egocentric, an asshole and rude.
Y/ noticed some of the other girls in their group kept looking in their direction and snickering. One of them called out, "Hey, Piper, does your tribe run this place? Do you get in free if you do a rain dance?"
The other girls giggled, and even Dylan suppressed a smile. Y/n’s fists clenched at her sides as she glared at him. She was beginning to think that maybe she got sent into that damned school because of fighting, since she was this close to knocking Dylan’s perfect teeth out of his face. Or punch those racists bitches right on the face. Both were tempting options.
"My dad's Cherokee," Piper said through her teeth. "Not Hualapai. 'Course, you'd need a few brain cells to know the difference, Isabel."
Isabel feigned a look of surprise. "Oh, sorry. Was it your mom in this tribe? Oh, that's right. You never knew your mom."
Y/n had to dig her nails deep in her hand, so she didn’t punch that Isabel girl right in the face. For some reason that, like everything in her life right now, she didn’t know why, she knew the perfect spot and strength to punch Isabel and knock her out.
Really useful knowledge you decided to keep, brain.
Piper charged at Isabel and y/n was right behind her, but before a fight could break out, Coach Hedge barked, "Enough back there! Set a good example or I'll break out my baseball bat!"
The teenage racists kept calling out little comments to Piper as they made their way through the museum. Y/n quickly flipped them off and muttered something in a language she recognized but didn’t know which one was it.
Sooner rather than later, Y/n snapped, "Are you going to shut your mouths voluntarily or am I going to have to break each of your fragile little jaws to get you to shut up?"
The gaggle of girls rolled their eyes at Y/n’s threat, as if they doubted she'd follow through with it. Piper grabbed Y/n’s arm before she could make good on her threat. "Where'd that come from?" Piper asked, raising an eyebrow.
"They're a bunch of little bitches." she muttered. "They deserve to get more than just their jaws broken."
Piper gave her a small smile, hooking her arm around Y/n's. "Thanks for defending my honor," she said. "But I’m sure I can take care of myself, babes."
Despite her lack of memories, Y/n didn't doubt that for a second.
After more walking, the group of students stopped in front of a set of large glass doors that led out to a terrace. "Alright, cupcakes," Coach Hedge said loudly.
"You are about to see the Grand Canyon. Try not to break it. The skywalk can hold the weight of seventy jumbo jets, so you featherweights should be safe out there. If possible, try to avoid pushing each other over the edge, as that would cause me extra paperwork."
They all stepped outside onto the skywalk. The Grand Canyon spread out before them, huge and unforgiving in its depth. Y/n glanced over the side of the skywalk railing, flinching and quickly stepping back when she felt the flip of her stomach.
Thunder rumbled overhead, and a cold wind washed over the skywalk, making Y/n shiver. Piper, turning away from Dylan, asked with a teasing smile,
"Jason's sweatshirt not warm enough for you?"
“What?!” Y/n glanced down, her cheeks burning as she realized why the sweatshirt was too big for her. Annoyedly, she took it off and said, "Me and Jason, we're... dating?"
Piper raised her eyebrows at her once again. "You seriously don't remember? You guys have been together since before me and Leo even met you - you guys came here together at the start of the semester."
Y/n frowned, beyond frustrated by the fact that she was dating the only person that she remembered both the name and how annoying he was.
Piper's eyes were concerned as she looked Y/n over. "How about Leo and I take you to the nurse when we get back to campus?" she offered. "She might be able to... I don't know, figure it out?"
She felt, deep in her gut, that the school nurse wouldn’t be able to figure out what was going on with her lack of memories, but she nodded anyway. "Thanks," she said quietly. She couldn't remember Piper at all, but she wished she could - Piper seemed like a good friend.
Piper worked on the worksheet they'd apparently been assigned to complete during their field trip. Neither Dylan nor Y/n helped her, but Y/n felt like her excuse - namely not even remembering her own last name, much less what the definition of mechanical erosion was - was a lot better than Dylan's, which seemed to be that he was simply a fucking bastard.
Instead of helping with the worksheet, Dylan was hitting on Piper, touching her shoulder and flashing her that stupid smile. After the fifth time Piper pushed him away, Y/n shoved her way between them, her head barely reaching his shoulder.
"Quit," she snapped.
Dylan rolled his eyes, but that something from before flashed through his eyes again. It made her skin prickle with goosebumps and filled her with anxiety. And, again, that stupid feeling told her that lots of things filled her with anxiety.
Something told her Dylan's worst quality wasn't his inability to take no for an answer, and that made the dread in her stomach grow heavier.
She saw Jason talking to the coach, and she noted the look of relief on his face as the two spoke. She would have gone over to join them, but she didn't want to leave Piper alone with Dylan or to be near Jason voluntarily, so she stayed where she was, glancing over the worksheet in Piper's hands and wincing at the headache trying to read it triggered.
Lightning crackled loudly overhead, the cold wind picking up speed and strength. Worksheets flew into the Grand Canyon, theirs practically being torn out of Piper's hands by a gust of wind. The bridge underneath their feet shuddered and kids screamed, stumbling and grabbing the rails on either side of the skywalk.
Ophelia held the railing so tightly, her knuckles turned white, and she purposefully kept her eyes forward, not letting them stray toward the bottom of the canyon thousands of feet below them.
She almost immediately felt the tears forming in the corners of her eyelids when she looked down – not on purpose – and made a quick realization that if she fell, she’d die.
The coach yelled for them to go back inside. The storm clouds that had been lingering overhead churned like a miniature hurricane. The students around her screamed and ran for the building, which was only a few feet away from Y/n and her group. Piper and Dylan ran for the doors, holding them open and herding the crowd of teenagers inside. Y/n stood frozen on the skywalk, fingers tight around the railing.
She reached into her front pocket, not sure what she was reaching for. But what she did find was a small, cold hard metal. She pulled it from her jeans.
It was a key, made of what looked like solid gold.
Why did she have a gold key in her pocket?
What did it open?
Apparently, she was in a school for delinquents - had she stolen it?
Y/n looked up at the sound of the doors slamming shut, Piper and Dylan having lost their grips. Aside from her and the two of them, Jason, Leo, and Coach Hedge were the only other people on the skywalk. Great. A jackass, a jock, a little latino gremlin, a five-foot male, a beauty queen and a girl who wasn’t even sure her name was Y/n. Couldn’t be better.
Piper struggled with the doors, trying to open them back up, but they seemed to be stuck. "Dylan, help!" Piper shouted over the raging winds.
"Sorry, Piper," he said, standing there with a malicious grin like he was enjoying the sudden storm. "I'm done helping." He flicked his wrist and Piper went flying backward, slamming into the doors and sliding to the floor. Y/n tried to run toward her, but the wind was fighting against her. Dylan looked at her, smirking at her struggle, and flicked his wrist again, sending her backward toward Jason, Leo, and the coach.
Jason caught her around the waist before she could fall all the way to the ground, steadying her. She immediately got away from his touch, glaring daggers at him – who just rolled his eyes.
"Stay behind me," Coach Hedge ordered. "This is my fight. I should've known that was our monster."
"Monster?" Y/n questioned.
"What?" Leo demanded. A flying worksheet smacked him in the face and he swatted it away. "What monster?"
Coach Hedge's cap blew off, and Y/n was beyond shocked to see two horns sticking up above his curly hair. He lifted his baseball bat, but it was different. It had somehow changed into a tree-branch club, with a few twigs and leaves still attached. “What the fu-”
Dylan grinned like a psycho. "Oh, come on, Coach, let the boy attack me!" he mocked. "After all, you're getting too old for this. Isn't that why they retired you to this stupid school? I've been on your team the entire season, and you didn't even know. You're losing your nose, grandpa."
Coach Hedge let out a sound that was like a goat bleating angrily. "That's it, cupcake - you're going down."
"You think you can protect four half-bloods at once, old man?" Dylan laughed. "Good luck."
Uh- What?! Half-bloods?
Dylan pointed at Leo and Y/n watched in horror as a funnel cloud materialized around the curly-haired boy. He flew off the skywalk like he'd been tossed, somehow managing to twist in midair and slam sideways into the canyon wall. He skids, clawing furiously for a handhold, finally grabbing a thin ledge about fifty feet below the skywalk. "Help!" he yelled up at them. "Rope, please? Bungee cord? Something?"
Coach Hedge cursed and tossed Jason his club. "I don't know who you are, kid, but I hope you're good. Keep that thing busy" — he stabbed a thump in Dylan's direction-"while I get Leo."
"Get him how?" Jason demanded. "You going to fly?"
"Not fly. Climb." The coach kicked off his tennis shoes, revealing hooves instead of feet. That settled it – Y/n had officially lost her mind.
"You're a faun," she said, not sure where the knowledge came but sure it was the truth.
Coach Hedge looked at her with a suspicious glint in his eye. "Satyr!" he snapped. "Fauns are Roman. But we'll talk about that later." He leaped over the railing, sailing toward the canyon wall and hitting it hooves first.
"Isn't that cute!" Dylan turned toward Jason. "Now it's your turn, boy."
Jason threw the coach's club, which seemed kind of useless with the winds raging around them, but it flew right at Dylan, even curving when he tried to dodge it, and it smacked him in the head hard enough to bring him to his knees.
She didn't even feel sorry for the satisfaction that flooded her at the sight. Maybe a little, but that was because Jason is a prick.
Y/n noticed Piper feigning a dazed appearance, her fingers closing around the club when it reached her, but before she could use it, Dylan rose. Blood-gold blood-trickled from the wound on his forehead.
"Nice try, boy," he said, glaring at Jason. "But you'll have to do better."
His body dissolved into smoke, which was a decidedly freaky sight. He rose like an evil angel made entirely of smoke. The sight gave Y/n the strangest sense of déjà vu.
"You're a ventus," Jason said. "A storm spirit."
Dylan laughed. "I'm glad I waited, demigod. Leo and Piper I've known about for weeks. Could've killed them any time. But my mistress said two more were coming, said they were special. She'll reward me greatly for your deaths."
Four funnel clouds touched down, two on either side of Dylan, each of them turning into venti-ghostly young men with smoky wings and eyes that flickered with lightning.
“Oh great,” Y/n muttered to herself, clutching the key in her hand. “just fucking great. It wasn’t enough one wind-man, it had to come four more, because life is already great.”
Piper was still down, pretending to be incapacitated, but she looked determined to fight. Jason stood tall, like a warrior, staring at the five venti without a shred of fear in his eyes. But he was unarmed - there was no way he could take on the storm spirits without a weapon.
A weapon.
Y/n frowned, looking down at the key that was still in her hand. She took a closer look, and it had something that looked a lot like an insignia. She didn’t know what it meant, but she swiped her thumb over the inscriptions on the metal. She blinked, and the key was gone.
In its place was a sword made entirely of gold.
Dylan frowned, a look of angry confusion flashing through his stormy eyes. "Where did you get that?" he demanded.
Who knows, Y/n thought. But I'm definitely not complaining.
She moved into a familiar stance, her eyes settled on Dylan's smoky form. Just as she was about to charge toward him, Dylan raised his hand, arcs of electricity running between his fingers. Y/n barely had time to be scared before Jason was pushing her out of the way, the lightning bolt meant for her blasting through his chest.
Y/n watched in horror as the blond boy she'd woken up next to barely an hour ago flew backward, taking a hit that had been meant for her. A single spot on her chest blazed like she'd been branded, filling her with fury. She looked back at Dylan, releasing a furious shout as she charged toward him and his storm spirit companions, vengeance moving her limbs forward.
She met the closest storm spirit head-on, her body agile as she thrust her sword at the spirit, the thing in question just barely getting out of the way. Y/n feigned right, then moved left and stabbed her sword through the smoky mass in front of her. To her amazement, the storm spirit dissolved into some kind of golden powder.
Dylan shouted something, his tone furious. Y/n ignored him as another ventus charged her. She planted her feet and brought her arms close to her chest, gritting her teeth as she felt the cold wind wash over her. It only pushed her back a foot before the gust passed her, and she charged at the spirit again, moving like she was a dancer performing a piece she'd done so many times it was muscle memory. Her sword pierced through the spirit and it, too, turned into gold dust.
“Suck it!” She shouted excitedly.
A few feet away, Piper was trying to fend off the other two storm spirits, but they were dancing around her, toying with her. Y/n moved to go help her, but a voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Stop." Y/n looked back in shock to see Jason rising unsteadily to his feet. His shirt was covered in soot, and he was missing a shoe, but all in all, he looked pretty good for a guy who'd just been struck by lightning.
“What the fu-” Y/n began, for the second time. And, for the second time, Dylan interrupted her.
"How are you alive?" Dylan demanded, his form flickering. "That was enough lightning to kill twenty men!"
"My turn," Jason said, a lethal look in his eyes. Y/n watched him reach into his pocket, taking out a gold coin and flipping it in the air. It transformed into a gold sword, not too different from the one Y/n’s key had turned into.
Dylan snarled in agitation, backing up. He looked at the two remaining spirits and yelled, "Well? Kill him!"
The spirits left Piper alone, flying at Jason with their fingers crackling with electricity. He took the first one out within seconds, his gold sword turning it into dust.
The second let loose a bolt of lightning, but Jason's sword absorbed the charge. With one quick thrust, the second spirit was reduced to dust as well.
Dylan wailed in outrage. "Impossible!" he shouted over the wind. His glare flickered from Jason to Y/n, settling on Jason. "Who are you, half-bloods?"
“Who cares? I’m better than you.” Y/n said, smirking, proposedly cutting Jason off the sentence.
Piper looked stunned. "Y/n, Jason, how...?"
Coach Hedge leaped onto the skywalk, dumping Leo before bellowing, "Spirits, fear me!" Then he looked around and realized Dylan was the only one left.
"Curse it, boy," he snapped at Jason. "Didn't you leave some for me? I like a challenge!"
Y/n frowned, a little peeved the faun thought Jason killed all four of the storm spirits by himself.
"Hey, I took out just as many as he did," she muttered.
Leo got to his feet, breathing heavily. "Yo, Coach Supergoat, whatever you are - I just fell down the freaking Grand Canyon! Stop asking for challenges!"
Dylan hissed at him, but there was fear in his eyes. Or whatever those were.
"You have no idea how many enemies you've awakened, half-bloods. My mistress will destroy all demigods. This war you cannot win."
Above them, the storm exploded into a full-force gale.
Cracks expanded in the skywalk, sheets of rain pouring down on them. If Y/n hadn't been cold before, she was fucking freezing now. Especially because she was too proud to wear Jason’s purple sweatshirt.
A hole opened up in the clouds, and Dylan looked up at it. "The mistress calls me back!" he shouted with glee. "And you, demigod, will come with me!"
He lunged at Jason, but Y/n moved fast, pushing Jason to the side and raising her sword to attack. The spirit yelled with rage, letting loose a torrent that knocked them all backward. The worst of it hit Y/n. The wind knocked her sword out of her hand, and she watched it clatter noisily to the glass floor of the skywalk. Her back hit the railing and she lost her balance, tumbling over. She managed to grab the railing with her left hand as she hung over the abyss below her.
Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down, she chanted internally.
She closed her eyes tightly, the tears rapidly making their way into her eyelids.
She could hear her name being screamed, could hear the unmistakable grunts and shouting of a fight, but she was a little busy trying to keep her faltering grip on the railing to pay her surroundings much attention.
Her fingers slipped, and with a shout in a language that did not sound like English, she was plummeting to her death.
She couldn’t move. She just accepted her fate, the upcoming death. Her clothes and hair were flying in the opposite direction, and she could only hope that, maybe, dying wouldn’t hurt as much as she thought it did. She didn’t scream. She just... let it happen.
She wondered briefly if she was hallucinating when she saw Jason diving off the skywalk after her, rocketing down to her. She wasn’t. He tackled Y/n’s waist and pulled her close to his chest.
Great, he’s stupid enough and now we're both gonna die, she thought.
But to her astonishment, the wind suddenly died around them. She opened her eyes, the tears still flowing down her face, seeing Jason's face a few inches above hers, his eyes shut tightly. They were hovering in the air about fifty feet above the river at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
"Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK!" Y/n breathed. His eyes opened, and he looked around them, taking in their position with wide blue eyes.
"Whoa," he whispered, his gaze moving to meet Y/n’s. She wanted to hug him, even if the only thing she remembered was hating him. Y/didn't remember ever meeting Jason, but she knew him. She couldn't explain how, but she did. And she did not like him.
Jason looked up. The rain had stopped, and the storm clouds seemed to have calmed a little. He looked back at Y/n. "Hold onto me," he told her, repositioning himself so he was hugging her to his chest. She wrapped her arms around his neck, trying to ignore how inexplicably right the closeness with him felt.
Jason looked up again, and they suddenly surged toward the sky. He held her tight as they flew back up to the skywalk. As soon as their feet touched the skywalk, they ran to Piper and Leo.
Piper stared at Y/n and Jason as if they'd turned into horrifying mutants during their trip into the Grand Canyon. "How did you...?"
"Apparently, I can fly," Jason said quietly.
“And I'm afraid of heights.” Y/n muttered. "Is he okay?" She asked Piper, looking at Leo, whose curly hair was covered in gold dust.
Before Piper could answer, Leo muttered, "Stupid... ugly... goat."
"Where did he go?" Jason asked.
Leo pointed straight up. "Never came down. Please tell me he didn't actually save my life."
"Twice," Jason told him.
Leo groaned even louder. "What happened? The tornado guy, those gold swords... I hit my head. That's it, right? I'm hallucinating?"
The look on Piper's expression seemed like she wanted to agree.
Jason walked over to where his sword was, picking it up and flipping it. Mid-spin, it shrank back into a gold coin and landed in his palm.
Jason picked up Y/n’s sword. He handed it to her, and she took it, not gratefully, looking at it for a moment. She took a closer look at the hilt, and the same insignia that was in the key was in her sword. She slipped the pad of her thumb over it, and it turned back to a key.
"Yep," Leo said. "Definitely hallucinating."
Piper looked at Y/n as if she'd never seen her before - so not much different to how Ophelia had looked at her when she first woke up. "Those things-"
"Venti," Ophelia said. "Storm spirits."
"Okay. You acted like... like you'd seen them before."
She looked from Y/n to Jason. "Who are you guys?"
Jason shook his head. "That's what we've been trying to tell you. We don't know."
The storm dissipated above them. The other kids from the Wilderness School were staring out the glass doors in horror as security guards worked on the locks. It didn't look like they were having much luck.
"Coach Hedge said he had to protect four people," Jason said. "I think he meant us."
"And that thing Dylan turned into..." Piper shuddered. "God, I can't believe it was hitting on me. He called us... what, demigods?"
Leo laid down, staring up at the sky. "I don't know what demi means, but I'm not feeling too godly. You guys feeling godly?"
"Not particularly," Ophelia admitted.
There was a sound like twigs snapping, and the cracks in the skywalk began to widen.
"We need to get off this thing," Jason said. "Maybe if we—"
"Ooo-kay," Leo interrupted. "Look up and tell me if those are flying horses."
Y/n looked up to see a dark shape descending from the east. As it got closer, she saw a pair of winged horses, with massive wingspans. They pulled a brightly colored chariot behind them, and there were two figures inside of it.
“What the fuck?” Y/n said, finally concluding her thought.
"Reinforcements," Jason said, meeting Y/n’s eyes. For the first time, she didn’t pull away. "Hedge told me an extraction squad was coming for us."
"Extraction squad?" Leo struggled to his feet with Piper's help. "That sounds painful."
"And where are they extracting us to?" Piper asked.
The chariot landed on the far end of the skywalk. The flying horses seemed uneasy as they stepped on the glass, as if they knew it was about to break. Two teenagers stood in the chariot - a tall blonde girl and a bulky guy with a buzzcut. They both wore jeans and obnoxious orange T-shirts with some kind of logo on the front. The girl leaped off before the chariot had even finished moving, pulling a knife and running toward their group as the guy reined in the horses.
"Where is he?" the girl demanded, her gray eyes fierce and intimidating.
"Where's who?" Jason asked.
She frowned like his answer was unacceptable. She turned to Leo and Piper. "What about Gleeson? Where is your protector, Gleeson Hedge?"
Leo cleared his throat. "He got taken by some... tornado things."
"Venti," Y/n said. "Storm spirits."
The blonde girl arched an eyebrow at her. "You mean anemoi thuellai? That's the Greek term." Her gaze flickered from Y/n to Jason. "Who are you, and what happened?"
Y/n let Jason explain. When he was done, the blondie didn't look satisfied. "No, no, no! She told me he would be here. She told me if I came here, I'd find the answer."
"Annabeth," the guy with the buzzeut grumbled, having joined them halfway through Jason's explanation. He pointed at Jason's feet. "Check it out."
Jason's left shoe was still missing, having been blown off by the lightning bolt he took to the chest.
"The guy with one shoe," the guy said. "He's the answer."
"No, Butch," the girl – Annabeth - insisted. "He can't be. I was tricked." She glared at the sky as if it had personally offended her. "What do you want from me?" she screamed. "What have you done with him?"
The skywalk beneath them shuddered.
"Annabeth," Butch said, "we gotta leave. Let's get these guys to camp and figure it out there. Those storm spirits might come back."
"Fine," Annabeth muttered. She fixed Jason with a resentful glare, and Y/n bristled, moving to clutch her key in her pocket.
The girl turned on her heel and marched back to the chariot.
"What's her problem?" Piper asked. "What's going on?"
"Seriously," Leo agreed.
"We have to get you out of here," Butch said. "I'll explain on the way."
"That girl looks like she wants to kill Jason," Y/n muttered, eyeing the girl's distant figure with distrustful eyes. “Don’t really judge. I’d want to do that too.”
Butch hesitated. "Annabeth's okay," he assured them. "You gotta cut her some slack. She had a vision telling her to come here, to find a guy with one shoe. That was supposed to be the answer to her problem."
"What problem?" Piper asked.
"She's been looking for one of our campers, who's been missing three days," Butch said, his expression grim.
"She's going out of her mind with worry. She hoped he'd be here."
"Who?" Jason asked.
"Her boyfriend," Butch said. "A guy named Percy Jackson."

TLDR; i am more attached to the lost trio than the og trio
i don't know how this happened, but i find the lost trio much more, i don't know, entertaining(?) than the og trio. i also feel like the lost trio has like a counterpart to them in the og trio, so that's how im going to break down this opinion peice.
the first one i'm going to do is piper and annabeth. i chose piper for annabeth because in the books they are shown to be kind of like a direct parallel of each other, so thats my reasoning for piper as annabeth. that, and the only girls in both of their trios. i feel like i became more attached to piper since i got to see things from her perspective, i never really got that sort of thing in the original books. you are going to hear that a lot, but we only ever saw things from percy's perspective, and it was easy to get attached to characters but you were never as attached to them as you were to percy. i feel like we didn't ever get to see much from any other character's perspective, unlike tlh, where we get chapters from the three main characters perspectives. we get to see piper's personal frustration with the aphrodite cabin, or her traitor's guilt about what she's doing. we never got to see this kind of thing from annabeth, we kind of had to go with the social cues percy gave us, not annabeth directly stating. i feel more connected to piper because of how much more we got to see her emotions, and we were never told how she felt from a party that wasn't her.
next, i'll do leo and grover. they aren't a direct parallel like piper and annabeth, but i was originally going to compare jason to grover but their personalities feel too different, at least grover and leo have a little in common. i feel like we didn't see enough of grover to become properly attached. his story felt mostly wrapped up by book 4, and then his final ending in book 5 was like remembering you have leftovers from the night before. and even though he had some sort of cameo in every book, the cameos were always short. like that one family member that shows up to the function, grabs some food and leaves. and, once again, we get proper chapters from leo's view. we never really hear any sort of bad emotions from grover, the few times we did he seemed very general. like when he felt he'd never be as great of a hero as percy, or his fear of not getting his searchers license felt so general they were impersonal in a way. who knows how many demigods felt bad about themselves cause they thought they'd never amount to anything because of percy? or how many satyrs were afraid of not getting their license! were as we see leo dealing with what i assume is some form of survivor's guilt. like feeling that it was entirely his fault his mom died but he survived, it feels so personal. it makes you sympathize with him. i like leo more because of how brief grover is in most of the books.
lastly, jason to percy. they aren't the best parallel, like, at all, but they'll have to suffice. i don't think this is a real thing, but reading so many things from percy pov, i felt almost like a fatigue of reading it. at least with jason we get breaks. and unlike most readers, i actually found jason's perspective more entertaining. i don't know why, though it might have to do wiht the fact that i act a lot more like jason than percy, so there was almost a built-in connection. and percy kind of states the way he feels, and we already know most of what he had gone through, unlike the first ever interaction we have between jason and his past. he talks to lupa, and has this sort of context mental structure. he talks about how he has this feeling he isn't allowed to be weak when talking to lupa, he suppressed his emotion and he doesn't even know he did that. it feels almost like that joke where you say something traumatic under the guise that it's funny, and when they react weirdly you think, that didn't happen to you? jason doesn't even know he was taught to supresss weakness, and does it subconsciously, whereas percy expresses his emotion, even the ones that are weak. we also put percy on a gold pedestal, but jason didn't get that treatment from the fandom, since he was a demigod who felt he was better than the hero we read about first. jason just feels more relatable for the people who felt like they needed to hide anything that made them weak, or the ones who felt shunned by a large group of people. i am more attached to jason because he has subconsciously routed these ideas so deep in his brain, they are still there when hera steals his memories.
overall, i feel like the lost trio is more relatable to me than the og trio.

How would companions react to getting pulled into an alley on their way home by a Mr Handy? (The Mr Handy has surprising strength!)
They think it’s like a surprise attack and they’re about to die but the Mr Handy swiftly gives them either a Haircut (Beautiful hair) or a shave (growing a beard) or a tune up, and it comes out really well!
Cait: The Mr. Handy barely kept Cait still as she kicked and clawed from its grasp. Even when the robot showed her a mirror to admire her haircut, she still took a hard swing at its metal body, narrowly missing it (and breaking her hand). When Cait caught her reflection, she watched her cheeks burn red. She looked... pretty. "Never fuckn' do that again, robot." Cait spat beside it. "I don't care if you make me look like a damn pre-war supermodel. I'll bust yer face in."
Codsworth: "Why, I never!" Codsworth didn't struggle much. He hoped to persuade the Mr. Handy to unhand him before it came to violence. Then Codsworth realized it had given him a tune up. "Oh, I see what you did there. Thank you, good sir! It's nice to see some kindness still in the Commonwealth."
Curie: The haircut was over before Curie could even scold the Mr. Handy. When it held up a mirror, Curie primped her hair and smiled kindly. "Thank you, little robot. But please, do not do that again. I could have harmed you in my struggle."
Danse: "Unhand me, robot!" Danse threw the Mr. Handy off before it could style his new haircut. Even when it showed him a mirror, Danse shoved its mechanical hand away. "Where is your human? Who do you belong to? They need to be aware of your unsanctioned actions against military personale." It was only when he returned to the Prydwyn did Danse notice the Mr. Handy gave him a wonderful haircut. He felt a little bad about his rudeness.
Deacon: "Where are we going, buddy?" Deacon held still when the Mr. Handy pulled out a razor, unsure if the robot was malfunctioning and dangerous. Then the Mr. Handy gave him a wonderful shave, which he had been sorely needing after a mission. Deacon hated when his ginger stubble ruined a disguise. "Gee, thanks, pal." He rubbed his smooth face and smiled. "So do I tip you in motor oil or something?"
MacCready: "Knock it off!" MacCready swatted at the Mr. Handy as it took his hat off and clipped the sides of his hair. Before MacCready could finally pull away, the Mr. Handy showed him a mirror. "Well, I'll be damned. I'm lookin' pretty good." He ran a hand through the new hairstyle and smiled. "You're alright, robot."
Preston: "Oh boy." Preston let the Mr. Handy fix his stubble, but only because he felt like jerking away while it had a razor to his neck was a bad idea. Preston was glad he was patient. The Mr. Handy had given him the closet shave of his life. "Would you like to come back to the Castle with me? If you don't belong to somebody, that is. There are a lot of other Minutemen who'd really appreciate your magic touch."
Piper: Piper got in a few good smacks against the Mr. Handy before it finished her haircut. She didn't appreciate being pulled into an alley. When it showed her the new hairstyle, she paused briefly to admire the layers it had expertly created to frame her face, then crossed her arms. "That was real stupid of you. One of us could have gotten hurt." Piper assumed it was malfunctioning. She was just grateful it used its scissors to style her hair and not anything more violent.
X6-88: The Mr. Handy barely shaved X6's face before the courser threw it against the wall. "I'm the only robot who gets to groom me."

How do you think the companions would react to stubbing their pinkie toe on something? Who cries? Who screams or swears (fuck, shite, etc)? Who just bite their lip and walks away, trying to walk it off? So on and so forth.
Gosh dangit, I hate this when it happens to me, it hurts way more than it should!
Nick Valentine: Bangs his foot quite often often on his desk or chair, but the pain never gets easier. He curses the Institute under his breath for programming him to feel pain and for the vivid memories of old Nick banging his toe while also working at his desk. It’s especially frustrating when he’s working intensely on case that’s been bugging him and this is what interrupts him.
Piper Wright: Was running around her office trying to get her latest paper printed out in time for the morning, but she passes a little too close to her printer press and there’s a bang loud enough to wake up Nat and all her neighbors. The reporter drops all her papers and lets them scatter on the floor, hopping to her chair while she hisses with the pain. She gets a now awake Nat to bring her an ice pack and a Nuka Cola to help distract her from her throbbing toe.
Codsworth: He doesn’t have feet. (Remembers that cursed YouTube video with Codsworth with legs) Oh God help me, I need to bleach my eyes.
Preston Garvey: Was helping around Sanctuary with little repairs when he gets too close to a workbench, resulting in him crouching over and grabbing his foot while trying to muffle his curses as there are children settlers around. It may hurt like hell, but he’s still gotta be a good role model for the kids to look up to. (I love this guy)
Curie: She was drooping with exhaustion and walking around half awake the clinic she was helping at, long overdue for a break. Just when she was about to walk off to finally have a rest, an evil wall corner makes contact with her toes and she falls over with a pained cry, shaking out her foot. Everyone within a mile radius is running over to offer their hands to help the poor overworked woman back up and onto a sofa for a much deserved nap.
Cait: She doesn't care who is around or where she currently is, every swear word in the book is leaving her mouth as Cait punches whatever happens to be nearby in frustration. Preston has to run over and help her hobble away so she’s no longer frightening the settlers and their children.
Deacon HAS to play it cool when he smashes his toe on a stone coffin the the Railroad HQ because he just finished bugging Carrington and this mistake will ruin the joke and give everyone a reason to poke fun at him. He waddles out of HQ like a penguin, waiting until he far away to start yowling like a wounded cat.
Danse: Bangs it on the corner of a wall almost immediately after exiting his Power Armor. His entire face goes all scrunchy and red as he bites back a yowl of pain, forcing himself to hobble to the nearest chair. If anyone is around to ask if he is alright, Danse will responded with a very strained “Yes.” and a nod.
Hancock: Straight up asks the table why they gotta do him dirty like that and attack his favorite toe. He’s pretty sure that he’s the one who purchased said table and gave it a good home when it was about to be turned into fire scrap, so for it to suddenly turn on him was completely uncalled for backstab.
MacCready: Does a silent scream while he cradled his injured foot and hops around on the other. He gets all tight faced and looks like he is just really constipated with how he waddles around tight cheeked, he’s really hoping no one walks by for awhile until he can regain himself. For the rest of the day, he has a little furrow to his brow.
X6: One would assume he didn’t feel any pain as he walks on without taking much notice to the fact that he just smashed his toe into a bed frame hard enough to break it. But he’s actually dying and screaming internally the whole time, and if you could see his eyes it would be a window straight into his pained stricken soul.
Strong: Was lumbering around a settlement and passing by a log. He glares intensely down at the log with pure rage and fury in his face, exclaiming “Strong smash puny wood!” The super mutant proceeds to kick said log until it’s a bunch of tiny splinters on the ground, then he has to go to Sole for help because he got a bunch of them logged into his fingers.
Moral Of The Story: Don’t EVER look up Codsworth with legs. (Seriously, don't)

I love your writing! You capture the fo4 companions personalities perfectly <3
Companions react to a sole who had a confident and chipper view when it came to taking on the commonwealth finally breaking down after visiting the institute?
I love this ask! I've been writing an outline for this but it's very long, so I've decided to hit the key parts. Otherwise I would never get this done.
Tumblr media
[When you left the vault you were lost in a world you didn't know. But you took it in strides. You went through the commonwealth taking everything on the chin because it would all be worth it to see your baby boy again. You left the teleporter with a smile but when you returned your smile was different, like you face was would break with a single push. You dismissed yourself to go home and your companion followed to check on you.]
Hancock
He knew something was wrong, that something had changed, so when you broke down it didn't surprise him. Pulled you to the floor and held you as you cried and soothed you to sleep. He held you for the entire night. Doesn't offer you chems, as much as it was something he turned to in times of stress, he saw himself as a cautionary tale. "It's okay Sunshine, let it out."
Cait
As much as she generally condones violence, she was at a lost when you were destroying your own stuff. She gets you to stop by grabbing your face and asking what's wrong. You don't answer and just hug her. And after you've been there for her, she's there for you. She tells you it's okay because you'll move forward together. "Whatever happened, we'll fix it yeah? That's what you do."
Preston
He heard you were back but you didn't go see him so he went to you. He wasn't expecting you to be on the verge of a panic-attack. Tried to get you grounded but his presence freaked you out and pushed you over the edge. Got you to calm down and stayed in silence for a while. You broke and told him what happened, and he dutifully listened. "I can't imagine what you must feel like, but I can help you. Whatever you need, I will get. Whatever you want me to do, I'll do. You are not alone."
Dogmeat
He finds you crying on your bed and gets to work. Pushes himself in you arm and licks the tears away. He makes sure you're okay then leaves and drags back a blanket.
Deacon
He's been with you since you left the vault and was amazed by your chipper nature. But he knows there was no way you would be okay. So he stood in the hall as you cried in Shaun's room. He didn't go in, he couldn't bring himself to. He left purified water and fancy-lads on the table and left. When he next saw you he didn't mention it. "Hey [Sole], what's up?"
MacCready
He felt for you. The scenario of doing anything for Duncan was very real to him. So the thought of doing everything and more to have it all be for nothing, less than nothing, disturbed him. Suddenly, the man who always have something to say about things pulled you into a hug silently.
Piper
To her it felt very personal, especially because she was with you for most of the search. The mission you were on to solve the mystery of the Commonwealth was at it's end, and the punchline wasn't funny. You find out your promise land was corrupted, Excalibur was a lie. She turned to you for answers but you were in a state she had never seen before. So she does what she knows, she asks you questions and gets you talking about your life in a good way. "Nora/Nate did that? Did they get away with it?"
Nick
He wouldn't be a very good detective if he couldn't see something had changed, something that disturbed you. But you tried to leave it, when he asked what happened you said nothing and continued with a smile. But at some point you can't take it and freak out, almost like a dam broke. He lead you away to the safety of home and you just wailed to the heavens. You asked Nick why everything went wrong, why your son, what were you supposed to do? He held you close and answered the best he could. "It's okay doll/pal. We'll find out, I promise."
Curie
She didn't know how precisely you were, not okay obviously but she didn't know how to approach you until you had a panic attack. So she quickly sat you on the ground and asked you to breathe. It was a struggle but she wasn't going anywhere. When you started trying to talk she told you it's okay. She held your palms open and rubbed circles into them. "It is alright to feel overwhelmed. Just keep breathing deep, we can talk about it after."
Bonus
X6-88
You tried to make the most of your son being alive so you helped him the best you could without compromising your moral code, this included gaining X6's respect and subtly coaxing him to be a person. So when he died and you took his place, you immediately forced their hand and united them with the Railroad. He didn't understand it but didn't go against you. You then forced the Brotherhood to stand down with the combined force. With his new found person-hood he stayed by your side as you stayed by his. So when the treaties were all done you allowed yourself to let go. As you cried X6 walked up to you and asked what was wrong, and you could only say you didn't know if this was a good ending. He put his hand on your shoulder and told you, you did a good thing even if you didn't get everything you wanted. "You single-handedly brought the Commonwealth to it's knees. No one will fault you for not getting everything done right. Those who do have done nothing to compare. I will stand by you, sir/ma'am"

Okay so I just has the most fun brain vacation ever thinking about the Percy Jackson demigods watching Disney's Hercules. I love Hercules, not gonna lie, but it's... less than accurate. No interpretation of the myths are 100% accurate, including Percy Jackson. It was funny because these universes are just so unmeshable.
Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Hazel, Nico, Jason, Thalia, Leo, Will, Calypso, Reyna, Piper, Apollo, and Meg are piled in Percy's living room watching this
All of them are just quiet and watching (slightly confused) until they figure out that the pink lady is supposed to be Hera. Then everyone goes BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! so loud Percy's mom comes in to check on them. Obviously Meg doesn't know Hera, but she's gonna boo anyway bc why wouldn't she.
Nobody can keep a straight face when they realize that the blue dweeb is supposed to be Hermes, especially not Apollo. And do I even need to tell you how they react to Dionysius's design?
Nico continually mutters throughout the Underworld scenes. "The Underworld doesn't look like that. What place is that supposed to be? Why Charon rowing Hades across the Styx, and why is he just a skeleton? Who are these two demony dudes? Cerebrus is a lot cuter than that. Etc. Etc. Etc." Eventually everyone just tunes him out.
Grover makes some comment about Penelope the donkey and how nice Hercules is for stepping in for her
Annabeth is also making observations and corrections throughout the movie, and they also tune her out for the most part. We got two constant commentaries going on
Thalia starts laughing SO HARD when Zeus's statue comes to life and says endearing things to Hercules and does not stop until Hercules leaves the temple bc she can't actually imagine her father saying these things to anyone. Apollo tries so hard to not laugh and fails, and Jason just sits there with his poker face
Hercules: If you're my father, then that would make me a...
Everyone in the room: A demigod.
Zeus: A god.
Everyone: ?????
Grover sees Phil and is like "Satyrs aren't that sort do I look that short?"
Everybody cracks up at Phil's impersonation of Zeus reading a bedtime story
Piper and Jason both go "Poor Achelous he's getting misrepresented he's not mean he's just sad."
Meg considers herself superior to movie Meg, but pretty much everyone likes movie Meg
Percy is far too excited during the fight with the hydra. Like he has the most dramatic reactions and everyone else is just going "wtf Percy" I haven't decided if he's rooting for the Hydra or for Hercules
Nico has finally accepted that this is just a person they decided to name Hades and has no actual resemblance to his father
Everyone yells at Hercules for giving up his strength. Then Leo starts teasing Piper about not encouraging him to do it bc it's for Meg and love and stuff and she smacks him
Everyone is extremely confused about why the Titans are under the ocean and why Hades is releasing them. Piper goes, "No don't set them free you idiot!" to which Leo says, "Why, does he have a crush on them?" and earns himself an exasperated sigh and an eye roll
Everyone laughs when the Titans are unleashed bc I mean they are moving mounds of element and don't fit any Titan at all
They've just recovered when Leo goes, "FrEeEEeeEze zuEeS" and Reyna has to pause the movie so they can laugh and not miss stuff
Nobody is happy when the pillar smushes Meg
Nico wants to know where this is that Meg is bc it doesn't look at all like Asphodel
Nobody understands how Hercules got regodded
Hercules's homecoming scene is completely drowned out by boos for Hera
However, they do catch, "I'd like to stay on earth with Meg" which gets everything from "ew why" (Meg) to "awww" (Grover) to "That's not how it went" (Annabeth) to "He did a Percy!" (Will)
Reyna, Leo, Hazel, Jason, and Meg require him to explain because whAt Percy rejected immortality?
The end. It was fun. Definitely not gonna watch it again with Annabeth or Nico, but maybe without them :)

Rosas Blancas
Summary:
Rosa Valdez is dying and Leo goes to see her one last time with Calypso there to mediate. It goes better and worse than expected.
Read on Ao3
.x.
“Do you know what you’re going to do?” Calypso asks as they approach the ranch. Her cinnamon hair is pulled into two of those bubble braids that the Aphrodite swore by as fashionable and comfortable, and her mouth is set in grim determination as she gazes at the door like she’s about to fight off her own father. Leo is grateful she came with him, Piper and Jason would’ve been too overprotective and jumpy, Calypso at least could keep herself serene and blank unlike his friends.
“Not a fucking clue,” he admits as he climbs the steps, his boots make noise on the porch, and suddenly he feels nostalgic remembering the dances they used to have on this porch when the night grew dark and the only light was that of the porch. His hand hovered over the door, already in a fist to knock it, but Leo couldn’t quite bring himself to do it.
His hand shook, and he put it down slowly, taking one breath, and then another. Calypso lays a supporting hand on his shoulder and knocks on the door for him. He shoots her a grateful look and tries not to tremble as the door opens.
“Esperanzita’s boy,” Tio Concho grunts, reaching out a hand to ruffle Leo’s hair as Leo blinks back tears and Calypso places a hand between them.
“Hello,” Calypso greets serenely, “I’m Leo’s foster sister, Calypso Atlasides, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Tio Concho eyes her, his huge mustache quivers in thought, and even that’s nostalgic to Leo. “You’re whiter than you sounded over the phone.”
Leo doesn’t even twitch, he had heard worse from other kids at school and from his own family after the funeral. He still intervenes before Calypso can get outraged. “Tio, it’s nice to see you. Where’s Elena and Carlos?”
Tio Concho sobers. “Out back with your abuela. Come, I’ll take you.”
He gestures for them to enter, and they follow, Leo doesn’t dare pull out any pipe cleaners or rubber bands to fiddle with. The ranch house was meant for twelve children to each have their own room and play. Out of all of them, Leo’s Abuela Ximena had inherited the ranch in lieu of her brother Kevin and thus, Tia Rosa and his Mama as her only children were meant to inherit the ranch. Now it’d probably fall onto either Elena or Carlos to take care of Visabuelo’s Sammy’s ranch. Leo stops, feeling a smile tug at his lips, at least he finally knows now why Abuela Ximena’s middle name was Hazel. He wonders how she’d react if she met her namesake and decides it’s not best to test it, she’d have a stroke.
Leo and Calypso walk into the backyard deck and his breath hitches at the sight of his family. Elena as is always perfectly put together the same way she had always been since she was ten and lorded her two years over Leo. Her glossy black hair had been cut short sometime between then and now, but she still looked the same. Carlos had a beard now which made Leo feel frozen in time, he was a year and five younger than Carlos, yet Carlos clearly had his life even more put together than Leo had ever even in Camp Half-Blood.
He tries for a winning smile, shoving the little Molotov cocktail of anger into the pit of his stomach. “Primos! Como les va?
Elena smiles and embraces him, she’s as scrawny as he is. “Leonidas,” she says, and cups his face in her hands, she frowns seeing the cut he has on his cheeks from the shrapnel coming off the Argo II. “It’s so good to see you. And who is this?”
“This,” he says, motioning towards Calypso, “is my foster sister, Calypso Atlasides. She came with me since Nyssa wouldn’t let me come alone.”
Nyssa had tried to convince him to stay at the camp until she could tell Jason and Piper who were in Rome and Oklahoma respectively for June, but Leo had argued that Calypso was more than fit to take him and that they'd go to California after for her to speak with Atlas. She had given in although not before sending a message to one of their siblings in Camp Jupiter to be on stand-by to pick Leo up.
He loves Nyssa, he really does, but she feels like his mom sometimes instead of his slightly older sister.
“A pleasure,” Elena says, offering her hand to Calypso, who daintily shakes it. “Where have you been, Leo?”
Leo shrugs, trying to seem affable despite wearing the nicest clothes he had in his closet at Camp which had been a gift for Piper last Christmas. “Texas mostly, last year though they found me a place in New York that’s more my style and that’s my permanent home, apparently. Our foster dad, Chiron, runs this summer camp, so we get to socialize with a ton of people.”
“Summer camp?” Elena asks, curiously. She looks over Leo’s shoulder and gives a small shake of her head, probably to Carlos. “Is it like the movies with canoeing and zip-lining?”
“Yes and no,” Calypso intervened smoothly. “We do canoe races, but we also do metalwork, architecture and have historical projects like building replicas of Greek triremes. A lot of rich people like sending their children away during prime tour season, and they make their way to us.”
Elena’s eyes widen, her smile becomes more real, and Leo feels grateful that he can still read her easily. He glances back to Carlos, who’s speaking with Abuela. Abuela isn’t looking at Leo but instead out into the plains, and Leo’s heart sinks. She still blamed him for his mother’s death then.
Elena follows Leo’s gaze and her excitement dies down. She motions for them to follow and Leo tries not to throw up as they approach his grandmother, somehow he didn’t think that she’d appreciate that.
Leo stops, just in front of Carlos, who shakes his hand but says nothing else. Abuela doesn’t speak, she never makes the first move.
“Abuela Ximena,” Leo says, trying to sound dutiful and respectful instead of sad and resentful. “It’s nice to see you.”
Abuela Ximena sighs, turning to look at Leo, and he’s struck by how much she and he look like Sammy Valdez. The same impish face, eyes and sardonic twist to their lips. Leo’s face was a bit uglier due to his father’s nose and his too big ears, but beyond that he and Abuela shared an uncanny resemblance.
Leonidas, they said you ran away twenty times, I’m surprised you're still alive.”
“Tia Callida made me tenacious.” Leo replies without missing a beat and to his surprise everyone in the room flinches. Abuela Ximena guiltily adverts her eyes, and Carlos and Elena share a look.
“Callida is dead.” Abuela says she sounds sad.
“I know,” Leo lies, “she had a letter sent to me after her death.” If he never had to see Hera again, it’d be too soon.
Abuela nods, straightens up and Leo unconsciously straightens up with her, ready to steady her like he did when he was a child. He hates himself for it. They had abandoned him, told him he killed his mother and left a nine-year-old to duke it out with the foster care system, and he still wants their approval.
“Calypso, was it? Come here, child.” Abuela says, and Calypso stands in front of his grandmother, probably using her magic to peer into her soul or something. “Tell me, do you know what Leonidas did?”
No, Leo thinks, dread trickling down his spine. No, no, no, it’s been nine years.
“Of course,” Calypso says unflinchingly. “He survived when your daughter did not, I’d think you should be more grateful a piece of your supposedly beloved daughter lived instead of despising it, but then again we’re all entitled to our own opinions.”
The deck goes silent. One beat, then two. Abuela turns red in embarrassment and fury, and Calypso is unmoved. Leo remembers with some amusement that Apollo and Hephaestus had been one of her few regular visitors to her island, and she’d likely thrown even more acidic quips in her direction.
“What do you know about that?” Abuela demands.
“My father tried to kill me, and my siblings locked me in a manor for ten years until Leo finally broke into said manor and helped me escape.” Calypso replies, going with the official ‘rich family with dark secrets’ story she and Chiron had concocted while creating her identity. The sad part was if you replaced the manor with an island and ten years for two millennia she had changed basically nothing, and it was perfectly believable. “In that time I’ve learned one of my sisters is dead, the other two are in jail and my brothers are missing. It has not been an easy adjustment.”
Everyone is silent for a moment. Then, Elena speaks. “Is this why you're a foster kid?”
Calypso nods. More silence.
Leo sighs and decides to be the peacekeeper for once in his life. “What do the doctors say? About Tia Rosa?”
The mood plummets even further.
.x.
Tia Rosa looks old as Leo waits for her to wake up. Calypso sits on the other side of the room towards the windows and stares out of them. But Leo can’t pull his eyes from her pale face.
She looks so much like his mother it hurts.
Leo drums his knees with his fingers and tries to think of what he should say to the woman who ruined his life.
Hey guess what, I didn’t kill Mom and I hunted down her murderer and burned her alive and killed myself in the process? They’d send the cops after him, again. Leo licks his lips and tries not to bolt from the room, instead finally pulling out his pipe cleaners and twisting and twisting and twisting, until they resembled the knot in Leo’s stomach that consumed him whole.
“Esperanza,” Tia Rosa breathes out, and Leo freezes. “Your boy is here, Esperanza, will you forgive me now?”
Leo can’t speak. Tears prickle in his eyes, and he isn’t strong enough to do this. He moves to stand up and feels a weight on his left leg. He stares down and finds that a wind spirit is gripping his leg tightly to the chair. He meets Calypso’s gaze from across the room and begs her with his eyes to let him go. She shakes her head and another wind spirit forces him back down into the chair.
“Tia Rosa,” Leo says, and his heart feels numb. “I’m here.”
“You are. See Esperanza, I brought him back, after all he did I brought him back. Can’t you forgive me now?”
“Tia,” Leo hesitates and takes her hand. He’s overwhelmed for a moment with the urge to burn it, but the moment passes and all he feels is sick. “Tia, do you need something from me?”
Tia Rosa’s eyes focus on Leo, hazel like his mother’s and Leo nearly vomits at the sight of them. She always looked too much like his mother for his memories to be comfortable being blameless.
“The ranch,” she slurs out, she pushes herself up and Leo helps her. Leo always helps her. “It’s yours.”
“Tia, that doesn’t make any sense—”
“It was supposed to be Esperanza’s, now it’s yours. Elena is too in love with the stars to take care of the horses, Carlos is too young to think of such things. You are a practical little boy, Leo, like Esperanza, like Papa, the ranch will be yours like she wanted.” Tia Rosa says. Her eyes are like flint and stern, the same way they were when she described him as his mother’s killer.
Her eyes wander the room and land on Calypso. “You're from my dream.” she mumbles. “Leo on that dragon and you behind him as you wandered lost.”
Leo looks at Calypso hopelessly, and tries to process everything. The ranch, Sammy’s ranch, was going to him? No, Abuela would not have it, Tio Concho would not have it. Leo couldn’t take care of it, not even if—
Esperanza’s Repair Shop and Ranch, a little voice in his head whispers. Hazel could come and pick up horses for Camp Jupiter, Jason could drink out on the porch, Piper could sing the new Cherokee lullabies she was learning from her cousins in Oklahoma. Nyssa and Harley could come help out with the rest of his siblings. Calypso could pop in for special offers of food and drink for the regulars. Festus could live in the four acres of land that they owned instead of the monster infested woods of CHB.
That dream is poison, he reminds himself. That dream is poison, that dream is poison, that dream is poison.
Then why is it so sweet?
Leo swallows the hope rising in his chest and instead lets go of Tia Rosa’s hand. “I hope you get better,” he lies. “Bye, Tia.”
“Hasta el final y hacia delante, Leo.” Tia Rosa says, her gaze focusing on Leo. “May Esperanza forgive both of us.”
Leo swallows the lump in his throat and nods. Calypso lets the wind spirits off him and they both stand. Calypso exits first and Leo bows his head in some semblance of respect to the dying.
“Que Dios te bendiga, Rosa.” Leo says. He takes Calypso’s hand and they exit the room.
They wait outside the door. Leo looks at her, she looks at Leo.
“California?” Leo asks, already pulling out a drachma.
“California.” Calypso agrees, a rainbow forming in front of them.
Leo smiles, giddy and maybe a little freely. He left Elena and Carlos his number for Camp, Abuela Ximena had refused to speak to him and Tio Concho was probably helping on the farm. Leo had finally had the chance to clear the fucking air and nothing, not even the gods themselves would keep him from achieving his dreams now that he had.
They walk out of the hospital, already planning their trip back to New York.

2002 Charmed S4 finale Kern interview
Tumblr media
"I am very tired," says "Charmed" executive producer Brad Kern. "I masochistically wrote and directed the season finale. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm actually in the editing room right now, looking at it. We're almost there." The Thursday-night drama about the Halliwell sisters, good witches in San Francisco, has been in a rebuilding phase all year. Last season's finale set up the death of eldest sibling Prue, played by Shannen Doherty, who left the show. To fill the gap, Kern introduced indie-film actress Rose McGowan as Paige, the long-lost half-sister of surviving witches Piper and Phoebe (Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano).
Much of the season focused on the integration of Paige into her new family -- and her efforts to cope with her newfound magical powers -- along with the romantic and supernatural complications of Phoebe and her half-demon lover, Cole (McMahon). At the same time, Piper has been dealing with the travails of married life with Leo (Brian Krause), the sisters' "Whitelighter," or supernatural guide. Despite all the ups and downs, Kern promises the family remains intact through the final episode. "I think it's safe to say that this season ends on a positive note," he says. "I think we owe that to the fans. It was pretty dark last year, so all the sisters survive this year." Near as Kern can tell, the audience likes the new addition. "The audience seems to be reacting favorably to Paige. I feel like, with all the darkness we've had to deal with through the middle and end of this season, with the Cole-Phoebe saga, Rose's wacky, fun, bright-light personality helps keep the show in balance." "I've been very happy with her. I think she's integrated very well with Alyssa and Holly, both on and off the set." Off-camera, McGowan had to adjust to the demands of series television, including working more hours per day for more months out of the year. "She was limping and spewing oil and crawling last November," Kern says. "She and I had a long conversation when we hired her. I told her it's a marathon, not a sprint, and that's the biggest difference." "I was a little concerned about her in November, because she was exhausted, beat. But she found a way to figure it out. I think one of the reasons why her performance has improved steadily each and every episode is because of her pacing herself emotionally and physically."
"She ends the season no more tired or exhausted than the other two girls, so she's done a miraculous job." As far as the Cole-Phoebe romance goes, the witch and the demon have faced almost every kind of natural and supernatural challenge over the course of the season, including facing down (or giving in to) ultimate evil. "We've honored the Cole-Phoebe love story," Kern says. "Our mantra is always the same -- no matter what happens between the two of them or separately, their love shines through everything. Love, we hope, will conquer all, and that's that we've held true to."
"I'm a big romantic. The Cole-Phoebe story is one of my favorite parts of the show. It's a tragic love story, but love stories are. It's sad that he's got this evil DNA that keeps him from being able to shed it completely to fully realize and have a normal love life with Phoebe, but that's the tragedy."
"He loves her, and she loves him, and they keep trying to find a way, and they will keep trying to find a way. They'll just have to be a different way."
Despite the big wedding episode, don't expect happily ever afters. "You can't stay married to a demon for very long," Kern says. "There will be a parting of the ways. That doesn't mean that they love each other any less, and that's the tragedy."
"As we move toward the end of the season, Phoebe will have tried it every way possible. She will have tried it with him not having [demon] powers, tried it with him having powers, tried it on the good side, and tried it on the dark side. There won't be another way to try it. She's going to have to move on with her life, and that means without Cole."
"Cole's going to have other ideas about that."
As to whether this means supernatural divorce proceedings, Kern says, "Without giving too much away, Cole won't be coming from that place next year, but that's where the surprise will be. He will be coming from a different place, a new place. There's good, there's evil and then there's a third way."
After last year's cliffhanger finale, Kern decided to call on an old friend for a little help in getting through this year's closer. As a former supervising producer on the short-lived FOX cult series "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." he turned to that show's star -- also the star of the "Evil Dead" feature films -- to play an FBI agent in the May 16 episode.
"I called Bruce Campbell up to guest-star in the episode I wrote and directed. He's great. Bruce rocks. We're going to let him direct an episode next year as well. Alyssa and he did a movie together several years ago, so they knew each other. It was just a riot on the set. We all had a lot of fun."
Regarding next year, Kern says, "With Paige having been fully embraced by her sisters, and with a whole year of being a witch under her belt, and with Cole and Phoebe's relationship being somewhat resolved, [and now that] Piper and Leo have something to look forward to, we look at next year as a rebirth."
"Though there are some looming questions and looming evils, I really wanted to end the season on a positive note. It was time to get back to the light and use that as a springboard for next year." https://www.antoniogenna.net/streghe/stampa/estera/zap2it-s4.htm

Note
Egg!!!!!!! I wanna kno. What companions you thing would smoke the za? Which companions would enjoy it or hate it or not wanna try it again?
Finally, now THIS is a good companions react!!!
Side note you almost got a "companions react to pizza" because I did NOT know what "za" was slang for. I was very confused on why companions would smoke pizza. I am not a cool druggie :(
Also also I Have Never Touched A Drug Ever so all my information comes from spying on my older sister and her friends "doing their homework in the backyard" when I was like seven. Enjoy.
Companions React to: Weed
Cait:
Yeah sure why not
Pre Benign Intervention she already does a shit ton of psycho so she wouldn't turn down weed
Post Benign Intervention probably won't continue though for obvious reasons
Not the type of person to make it her entire personality though
Codsworth:
Maybe???
Okay okay I know he can't actually smoke it BUT
It's not like they'd program a mr handy to snitch on their owner for slurping on the bong (is that what they do??? That's what it sounds like)
If Sole's having a good time with friends then Codsworth's happy to be the designated sober friend :)
Curie:
Will only try it if its edibles
Smoking is BAD FOR THE LUNGS and she's the type of person to smell someone smoking weed from across the road and complain about it
She is interested in seeing what being high is like and there's no real risks to it so she's down for experimenting
Probably won't do it again but she enjoyed the experience
Danse:
Medical use marijuana?? More likely than you may think
NOT a partier tho. Will take his One (1) perscribed gummy bear he keeps in his weekly pill organizer and frown at anyone who even mentions the number 420
Makes it surprisingly easy to sneak it past him tho. "I'm making weed brownies.... for medical reasons.... the baking helps with my anxiety as well. Don't eat them."
Deacon:
Oh yeah totally [lie]
You would 100% THINK he's the guy to smoke pot. He knows all the code words. He wears the weed shirts. He knows what "za" means.
But deep down he's a fraud
After getting clean from hard chems he really just does not want to touch any drugs or be around high people in general
His deep insecurities and fear of being abandoned as soon as he's unlikeable will leave him too scared to admit any of that though, so he'll end up smoking just to fit in if he can't find a good excuse to do otherwise
Desdemona:
Has probably done it as a teen and probably enjoyed it but won't do it again
She is too important to the Railroad to ever be inebriated
Unless Glory convinces her to take a break and then mayybbee she'll get high with her
Takes a lot of convincing though and will probably only happen as a celebration for destroying the Institute
Father:
Sole will blow smoke in his face and he will die right there and then he is Too Old
Gage:
Gage canonically doesn't like drugs but come on he'd smoke weed
Just a little bit. As a treat. Not the type of person to get ridiculously high for hours
Probably had a bunch of bad highs in the past and now is too scared to do it again around others
Hancock:
Not only does he enjoy it, he's like, Into It
Knows all the different kinds of strains and will shit talk your dealer if you show up with Low Quality Weed
Don't ask him too many questions or else you'll be listening to him explain the details of every strain for three hours straight
Maccready:
NO drugs are BAD and he needs to be a GOOD INFLUENCE for his SON
Ends up getting FOMO immediately and tries it.
Probably enjoys it??? Idk bro this is such a hard prompt I DONT KNOW WHAT WEED IS LIKE
Maxson:
I give up
Nick:
This comic is all you need
Piper:
Would try it if Sole gave it to her
NOT IN FRONT OF NAT THOUGH
Would enjoy it
Uses all the terminology wrong though
Preston:
Lets be honest he needs it
Probably won't like it recreationally and good luck getting him to a doctor so he can get it medically
But medical marijuana would be helpful for him pls get him some
X6-88:
He's a teen boy who's rebelling from his parents (the institute) for the first time so of course he tries it
Acts like he enjoys it even if he doesn't
Does this
Bonus Carrington because I have a good guess on who sent this ask:

TW:⚠️Talks about blood, murder, and death (lots of death)
Surprised I went quiet for so long-
Anyways, it's time to talk about:
My Silly Apocalypse AU!
First off: Who in the ever lovin' hell is Silly? Well, gather around, as I tell you about him.
This is the only drawing I've done with him, but anyways (we're going to ignore the orange belly I gave him without realizing Tinky had it already, if you have color suggestions let me know please)
Tumblr media
Sligamore, or Silly for short, is the fanmade Lord in Black character I was talking about in my last post. Silly can manipulate emotions, but instead of pushing them to anger and rage like Blinky, he pushes them to insanity. He toys with them, and almost like Pokey, can control them, hence the puppet face. This level of insanity can lead to something doing something very out of character, leading to arson, murder, and many other crimes.
So imagine he takes over almost all of Hatchetfield?
Now, before I go explaining my entire apocalypse, let me first explain some VERY important details:
This AU is entirely focused on me and my friends own universe. Most of the characters I'm going to mention are OCs of ours, and a lot of those OCs have important connections to certain characters. One of the biggest ones is definitely Alexa Sutton, who belongs to my best friend. Alexa is Henry's spouse in our universe, they live together under the same roof, and all of that. Another OC I should mention is Harper Kennedy, who also belongs to my best friend. Harper is relatively Alexa and Henry's adopted daughter (in their eyes). There's also my main OC Piper Lovelock, who has a very mother-daughter relationship with Charlotte.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that some characters (Nora and my OC Astra for example) use neo pronouns, and you may see me using them a lot. Nora uses She/It/E/Em pronouns, and Astra uses They/Star/Sun (And star is mute).
I figured I'd tell you guys that since it's very important in the Silly Apocalypse AU.
Now onto the AU:
It starts off with very few people: Sam, Mr. Davidson, Emma (no main character moment this time lol), Henry, and Astra (a Beanies OC of mine). It takes about two months to finally realize something isn't right with these people, but the signs have been clear from the start: Glowing red eyes, fits of laughter (random singing if you're Henry), erratic behavior, etc.
The first victim to die is Nora.
Nora is in eir office, wondering why Astra has been so unresponsive, and whats wrong with Emma that she isn't coming into work. It's going through some paperwork, planning a schedule out, before she feels a sudden pain. Sharp pain. Looking down, it sees a blade sticking out of its stomach. E spits out blood, shakily raising her hand to the blade, which is ripped out from behind. Nora bends over, still in shock about what just happened. Turning around slowly, e finds Astra, a bloody kitchen knife in hand, staring at her with a wild grin and red eyes.
Before it can react, it's suddenly pinned to the desk, being stabbed repeatedly until they pass out (and die). Astra is completely oblivious and keeps stabbing Nora, unaware of a horrified Zoey standing by the entrance. Zoey locks sun in the office, before running back to the front in tears, where Piper and Ryan (another of my friends OCs) are currently.
They try to ask what's happening, but Zoey is too shaken up to properly talk, simply telling them to call the cops. Which was their first mistake. Sam (we'll get back to him in a moment) had already infected the other cops in the station months prior, and once they reach Beanies, they kill and infect whoever is there. Piper is the only one who escapes, running back to their apartment where Emma is.
Focusing on another character now. Charlotte is at home, getting lunch prepared when she's attacked by Sam. She's confused, and she doesn't know what exactly is going on or why her husband is trying to murder her. In an act of self defense, she kills him with his own pistol. Scared and in shock, she takes the gun and runs off, trying to find her friends.
Going back to Piper for a moment, Piper has made it back to the apartment, trying to tell Emma about everything that happened at the Cafe. Emma, however, seems out of it, holding herself back from attacking her friend. Emma tells Piper that they need to run, and how a mysterious 'he' has taken over. Piper is confused, and wants to know more, but Emma is already gone. Piper takes a baseball bat and runs, knowing that she'll need something to defend herself with. Eventually, she finds Charlotte, and the two of them stay together.
Switching to the office crew: Ted, Paul, Bill, Melissa, and Ken Davidson (yes, his name is Ken, and I will call him such). The crew is wondering what's going on outside the office, and wondering what's happening to their boss. Melissa informs Paul that he is needed in Ken's office to have a little talk. Nervous, Paul obliges, and everyone else waits. After waiting for quite a while, Paul stumbles out, being chased by Ken. He's been infected, and he's shouting at everyone else in the office to run. People left and right are either dying or being infected, and the crew have no choice but to run. In the heat of the moment, Melissa is separated from everyone else. She finds Charlotte and Piper, and the three of them decide to stay together to find the others.
Now for the final character: Henry. Henry knows something is wrong, that some kind of apocalypse is going to start. Alexa is trying to get through to him, while Harper is begging for her to run. Henry tells them both that they need to get away from him before he accidentally hurts them, as he struggles to fight off the infection. Reluctantly, Alexa takes Harper away, grabbing her cane (also a sword) and her mobility aid dog, Bear. The three of them are left on their own, forced to face the horrors of their once loving (that's a stretch.) town.
Back with the office crew, Ted and Bill are hiding away in an alley, trying to think of the most logical (well, Bill is at least) reason as to everything happening around them. What they didn't know, was that there were other people hiding as well. At least, until a girl in a red flannel and orange beanie pops out, threatening to hit them if they get closer. You guessed it! Deb is in the alley, and she isn't alone. Alice peaks out from behind Deb, and runs into Bill's arms. The two girls explain how they were on their way to Beanies when they saw everything that happened, and they ran to the alley to hide. The four of them stay together for the remainder of the story.
And that's basically how the story starts!
Bill, Alice, Ted, and Deb are all one group, and the second main group to focus on. Melissa, Piper, and Charlotte are one group for now, until they end up finding Harper and Alexa; these 5 are the main stars of the story.
I really do have so much more to explain, and so much more to talk about in this AU. There's death, betrayal, fury, and so much more (and in true Starkid fashion: some comedy). I would be happy to talk more about this if anyone really wants me to, along with making art and designs for the characters!
Thank you to those that actually read through this whole thing 💜

It was nights like this where Venti allowed himself to be lost in his thoughts. To truly sink into the depths of grief and melancholic despair.
Nights where it was just him, alone at Old Mondstadt with the only company being a lyre, not unlike the one he used to play. He played so passionately and had the indiscernible talent to attract others towards him - including Venti himself - towards his music, akin to the Pied Piper luring rats towards him with his flute. Venti absentmindedly strummed a few strings of his instrument, not particularly aiming to play anything meaningful or impactful, just to distract himself - if only for a moment.
Violent strikes of thunder and brief flashes of lightning accompanied the torrential rainfall, that of which being the sole reason why Venti was at Old Mondstadt, or colloquially dubbed ‘Stormterrors Lair’. Venti didn’t particularly fancy that name, the negative connotations pertaining to the reputation of his dear friend Dvalin painted the soft hearted dragon as a malevolent and merciless dragon, uncaring towards human life and lacking basic moralities. It was a preposterous thought and struck a chord within Venti, yet given the circumstances of the recent events within Mondstadt City, he couldn’t exactly blame them.
Afterall, they’d reacted the same way towards the previous tyrannical ruler of Mondstadt - Decarabian, the previous Anemo Archon before Barbatos.
Thinking of Decarabian was something Venti often found himself avoiding, for it reminded him too much of what he used to have. The day Decrabian was overthrown was the day that Mondstadt had finally reclaimed their freedom. Yet there were still many that would never get to enjoy the spoils of their labour. One of which was Venti’s dear friend, a nameless bard, and the core inspiration for Venti’s entire being.
His appearance, his talents, his personality - his everything - was courtesy of his departed friend. He adapted himself, no, he changed himself, Venti completely changed the entirety of his being to pay homage to his dear friend and now? He's not quite sure where his friend ends and where he begins.
Has he been lying to everyone for all these centuries? Were all those smiles and laughs fake? Was his entire persona fake? Was his disposition fake? Was he fake? Would he be proud of what he’s become, of who he’s become? Venti, a Nameless wind spirit turned god and Venti’s friend, a Nameless bard turned dead.
It was a morbidly true thought. So, so, so very true and real, despite how much he wishes it wasn’t.
He didn’t deserve to die, he ached and trembled as his jaw clenched and teeth grinded against each other for something much more than want, in need, for something he couldn’t live without. Something he’d die for,
And die for he did.
Mercilessly and without a sliver nor an inch of hesitation or humane trepidation, his heart was struck by an arrow. And as the weapon sunk deeper and deeper and deeper into his skin, a white hot pain erupted throughout his entire being, eliciting a scream of absolute pain and agony. Venti, the little wind spirit flinched as the timbre of the voice ricocheted against the stone architecture of Mondstadt and echoed throughout the land, as deafening as it was heart breaking. The nameless bard gasped and struggled to breathe, the fatal injury causing him to clutch his chest in worthless desperation. He collapsed into a heap on the ground, staring up at the sky in immeasurable sadness as the pain of everything slowly numbed away. He glanced around and saw people - his friends - still fighting with everything they had for a world that had taken much more than that. The nameless bard smiled even as his throat tightened and he swallowed painfully. He looked away and tried to blink away the tears in his eyes, not wanting his last moments to be blurred by the salty liquid and noticed the little wind spirit fretting over his condition.
The oddity in his mini companion worrying so much when he was usually such a mischievous and cheeky spirit was amusing in its own right and brought a tiny smile to the dying boy's face. This was it. This is what he had worked so hard for, and as they were so close, so close they could practically grasp the victory, he had to go and get hit. Though, he supposed that this wasn’t so bad perhaps, for he had always worried about being alone in his last moments. Yet he wasn’t alone now, for he had his allies fighting for their shared dream and his wind spirit right next to him.
Yeah, maybe this wasn’t so bad. Perhaps in his next life, he’d get to meet the same little wind spirit again. It was unlikely, but a boy could dream. And if he could start a revolution and incite an authoritarian overthrow, then he could make a selfish wish to meet his friend again.
Yeah, he’d like that. He’d like that a lot.
As those thoughts drifted over the boy’s mind, he closed his eyes as a blissful and serene smile spread across his face. The hand he had been using to pet the little wind spirit fell limp as the warmth left his body and his body shut down. It was obvious as to what happened, the boy with braids, their nameless bard, one of the main supporters and members of the rebellion, had died.
They vowed to properly mourn his death, along with the others that had unfortunately also fallen as soon as the fight was over and regretfully left his now still body, abandoning his cold corpse.
All but one remained. The wind spirit.
They had their little body pressed against their friends heart, listening to his heartbeat, or where his heartbeat would’ve been were he still alive, which he wasn’t. Yet still, they stayed and listened in the hopes that the little thump thump would spring to life once more.
Seconds, minutes, hours and no signs of the steady heartbeat they recognised spurring to life. It was official.
He really was dead, wasn’t he?
The Nameless Wind Spirit and The Nameless Bard were no more, for the day that their friend died, was the day that the wind spirit died as well.
Now all that remained of the awe inspiring duo was a fading memory of a hero and a copycat god trying to imitate the one thing they could never be.
Human.

okay okay so both of them are like meeting in this era where they’re finally like. like you know. like. open to love. like kyra has had flings she’s had fun but evidently since she’s like a demon or whatever she can’t love (??) but now that she’s got this shot at being human like she finally has a chance to find love something’s she’s seen in visions been on the edge of feeling but never quite been able to reach phoebe on the other hand has like just finally realized that like. she’s a lesbian. like. every single relationship she’s had so far had just been because a man pursued her like it was always just her reacting to the chase and she liked playing the cat and mouse game you know it was fun sure but it never really felt like love like she never really wanted them per se she just liked feeling wanted and was willing to fit the role she needed to play in order to feel wanted but now she’s like realizing that she wants to want someone she wants to settle down with someone she loves, not just someone who loves her. and in this journey, she keeps trying to go out with guys and like. wow. when she factors out their emotions. like. huh. she’s not that into them. like. any of them. like. men as a whole. hey. is she a lesbian? does like a bit for bay mirror for pride month like gay love goes to a lesbian bar elise is like hell yes this is great for the paper (also. maybe u realize something doing this column. who know not me!!) and boy oh boy does phoebe realize something doing this column yes indeed she is a lesbian. enter kyra. oh hot damn.
and kyra’s like yes phoebe is a total babe and a half yes like omg but like she’s kinda done the whole dating a demon in the past it really didn’t go well for her i don’t want to come on to strong meanwhile phoebe meets kyra and well let’s say she finally gets what it feels like to want someone and she’s like !!! holy shit! is this how y’all have been feeling this whole time! um but. wow. wow is that a feeling. and it scares phoebe lowkey. like yes this is what she wanted but like kyra feels like all she’s ever wanted and god she wants her so bad and oh my god is she gonna fuck this up quick run!! so phoebe keeps dodging the shit outta kyra which only feed kyra’s need to pump the breaks but whenever phoebe lets her guard down and they hang out oh goddamn do sparks fly anyways one plotline or another psychic visions hit a snafu psychics can no longer have visions they can only transfer them onto other people so like phoebe and kyra are like looking at piper paige leo like okay one of y’all needs to catch a vision so everyone start meditating or something anyway it’s paige who get the vision and she’s like okaay i see what we need uh leo go find out about x demon and kyra phoebe you guys work on a spell and piper you me potion okay and she’s basically dragging piper down the stairs as she says that and piper’s like okay?? sheesh what did you see that was so bad and paige is like no um i wouldn’t necessarily call it bad and piper’s like you wouldn’t call the demon bad and paige is like oh no i would call that bad but um that wasn’t all i saw and piper’s like that wasn’t all you saw and paige is like no um. i also saw um phoebe and kyra. at a wedding. and piper’s like ??? okay? whose wedding? and paige is like. um. theirs! and now piper’s also like !!! bc like. omg??? and they’re like prepping t fight the demon and phoebe and kyra are like haha did the vibe shift in here and piper and paige are like nope!! nope haha why would you even ha what no what would even make you say that lol no don’t even worry about it [should we tell them?] [no! are you kidding! phoebe is already running out of the room at any hint of a relationship] [yeah but like... it is their business, right?] [do you want to tell them?] [no.] [okay then.] hey what are you guys talking about.
blah blah blah plot continues phoebe and kyra realize that the psychic issue can be resolved by idk. full transparency. they can’t see their visions because their clouding their own truths from themselves. or whatever. and phoebe’s like haha no i’m not doing that and kyra’s like oh i am i’m in love with you. and phoebe chokes on her drink. and kyra’s like i mean we have to clear the air!! and it’s true. and it’s oaky if you don’t feel the same way babe honestly bc i think you’re so great that i just want you to be happy i want you to be with someone you want to be with. and phoebe’s like thanks <3. and there are still no visions. bc um. Someone Still Has To Confess Something. and phoebe’s like : ). this is fine. and kyra’s like okay well i know i did just drop a big bombshell on you but um for the sake of like saving the world don’t want to rush you or anything but like. we should probably keep trying to bring back visions. and phoebe’s like no yeah totally honestly tho i just really don’t know what i’m supposed to reveal like i don’t think i’m hiding any truths. i mean you know me i’m an open book. and kyra’s like phoebe. babe. you know i love you. like quite literally you know that now. so like. from a place of love, you’re a shit liar and idk we need to get a vision right now to like save piper and paige or something. and phoebe’s like yeah. and kyra’s like come on nothing you could have to say could top mine okay just like let it out and phoebe’s like no i don’t know what i’m supposed to say and kyra’s like ??? just say it like we need this back and phoebe’s like yeah. ..... . and kyra’s like ?? and phoebe’s like oh fuck it and just kisses kyra and the kiss triggers the vision they need and then they save the day <3

All the Stuff Bastien and Maddy Gather and other Initial Delta Side Head Canon
They will fill King Triton’s fishing vessel full of voodooist bodies including Zeke and Brigitte
Bastien will also toss Chess’s body in the pile based on his Jetsam memories. He’ll believe Chess to be family with how close he knows Flotsam and Chess are. She might not be a voodooist but he’ll just feel she’s supposed to be thrown in the pile.
They will bring Sally back to the castle for Frank
They will get the the dune buggy for Chip that Clopin left behind
Delta respects the reaper in Clopin. The grim. In this she will take one final step before makes her final move on the city. She’s going to create a toadstool circle around The Blue Piper. That’s a free zone. Like base. A space the magic of the fairie ring will not effect. A ring within a ring if Piper can portal them in it’s a safety zone.
Funkytown will be given the same ring of protection. Why? She knows the reaper’s daughter’s been jumping there. Willem is a side reason since she’s had Captain Hook as a side project of her own. But, this is really more about Piper. Willem’s a bonus. Who do you think Delta sat around with and talked torture devices with while she lived at the Laveau’s place? Piper. If Frank was her Lurch. Piper was her Wednesday. Piper and the Laveaus are basically saving Funkytown on this one by having had that connection.
The canon for what Delta actually does when the fae ring activates and how the Horned King reacts will come in a separate post including final deaths and character reactions of who’s left.

Can I request companions react to a chubby sole who falls for them but is insecure so they leave them at sanctuary and start traveling alone or with another companion?
Sorry if this ask is a bother! I really like your asks and such btw!!
*this is going to be a longer one so buckle up and enjoy the ride, y’all
The companion knew something was up when Sole began acting standoffish in their travels together, using one-worded, seemingly uninterested responses in conversation and avoiding even looking at them most of the time. They contemplated whether it was something they said that put Sole off, did they insult them in some way? Surely Sole would have told them if that were the case. They knew how much the companion cared for them and would never want to hurt them. So when Sole finally decides to trek back to Sanctuary, [Fizztop Grille for Nuka-companions] and they leave them there to begin traveling on their own, they attempt to piece together what truly happened. For some it was easier than others…
MacCready:
It took him longer than he would like to admit to realize Sole left him because they had fallen, although MacCready thought he had made his own feelings to them very clear. It didn’t dawn on him that Sole was insecure of their body and it never would until they flat out told him. “That’s ridiculous, Sole! How could you hate the way you look? You’re fricken gorgeous!” He chooses flattery and genuine attraction to woo the insecure Sole, and of course it works.
Hancock:
He is slightly annoyed once he realizes that Sole left him because of their insecurities. Sure he understands, he has plenty of his own. However, he thinks that they’re only being dramatic. “Honey, have you seen me? Take a good look. If I can flaunt this sexy shriveled mess, then you can flaunt those stunning curves. Heh heh. C’mon, Sunshine, you’ve got nothin’ to be ashamed of.”
Cait:
She wouldn’t even let Sole make it passed Red Rocket, stomping after them fuming with hurt and annoyance. She would demand an answer immediately and would continue on her hot rage streak until she notices Sole’s features filled with gloom as they tell her the true issue. She would soften and take a gentle hold of Sole’s arms as she moves closer to them. “Oh ‘ye idiot! ‘Ye think I care ‘bout that? If anythin’ it’s the reason I was drawn to ‘ye in the first place. What? ‘Ye thought I was jus’ twiddlin’ my thumbs walking behind ‘ye all this time?”
Piper:
She knew immediately. Piper watched Sole’s mannerisms and the way they isolated themself especially when eating. She pieced it together probably the quickest of all the companions and ultimately thought it was quite ridiculous. She would catch up with Sole and give them a stern look before ripping them a new one. “You think you can get rid of me that easily, Blue? Come on, you’re not the only one with some curves around here. Nothing to be ashamed of, hun.” She would jokingly pat her larger hip and smile at Sole, easing their issues quickly.
Nick:
For a detective, it actually takes him a pretty good time to understand why Sole left him behind. He contemplates all of the things to say to them on his way back to his office when he runs into them again. Before they can turn the other way and avoid him, he calls out for them. “Hey doll, I know why you left me. Now I don’t usually like to scold people for, uh, low self-esteem. That’s usually an issue someone has to work out on their own. But you and I are a great team, so I’m not going to let ya stick this one out on your own either. Why don’t you come back with me, beautiful?”
Preston:
He definitely picks up on Sole’s behavior but makes no comment on it until they choose to randomly leave him behind. Before Sole can walk away, he asks for their attention once more and questions their behavior. Once he realizes the truth, he takes Sole in his arms. “I wish you had told me sooner, Gen- Sole. I think you are just marvelous as you are. Everything about you is perfect, inside and out.”
Danse:
Any other time, Danse would allow Sole to leave him and go, however with their strange behavior toying with his mind, he simply cannot allow them to leave before getting answers. After Sole tells him how they are feeling, he goes in to comfort them. “Solider, my feelings for you are also… strong, and very confusing. While I fell for your kind heart, I have to admit that your, um, figure… kind of drew me in.” O.O
Maxson:
He is slightly annoyed that he had followed Sole out into the Commonwealth only for them to leave him at one of their settlements without further explanation. Knowing they would have to report to him eventually, he would head back to the Prydwen and wait for them to come to him. When they do, he immediately scolds them and demands an answer. After getting an answer he doesn’t particularly like, he would shy away from the conversation but attempt to console them. “I have feelings for you as well, you know that. You are… absolutely stunning, to say the least. I hope my words can ease you somewhat.”
Curie:
She wouldn’t be able to understand Sole’s reasoning for leaving her behind until the two met up again. To which she would then immediately question Sole, innocently asking if it was something she did to send them away. Ridden with guilt for making Curie feel this way, Sole would tell her the truth much to her confusion. “But madame/monsieur, you are perfectly healthy! Is that not what matters most?”
Deacon:
He catches onto their behavior after a while of traveling together and really pieces it all together after they try to leave him behind. Deacon will wordlessly allow them to leave him, but secretly trail them until he can think of the right words to say at confrontation. Once coming face-to-face with Sole once again, Deacon will cross his arms like a scolding parent and furrow his brows at his partner. “Here I was thinking we had something good going on, then you up and leave me without an explanation.” He sighs dramatically before continuing. “I forgive you, on one condition. Please stop swaying those hips when you walk! I am just dying, so entranced. Honestly boss, it’s quite dangerous since you’re distracting me from my job.”
Desdemona:
She somewhat catches onto Sole’s behavior but still doesn’t understand the ‘why’. Before Sole can leave her, she questions it. Getting the answer she didn’t want was disappointing to say the least, but Desdemona took it upon herself to make sure Sole felt otherwise even if they still chose to leave her behind. “Not only are you one of our smartest and strongest agents, you also have a kind heart and that’s what matters most. And I mean, hey, that figure isn’t too bad either. Definitely better looking than most, I’ll tell you that.”
Glory:
“Oh no ya don’t!” She refuses to let Sole leave her and takes her partner by their forearm, holding them until they give her a straight answer for their weird behavior. Once it was given, Glory would release them and fondly take their hand instead. “You don’t really think that matters, do you? Please, if anything it makes you even more attractive as you already are. Haven’t you heard them say, there’s more to love? Yeah, that sounds about right.”
Tinker Tom:
He doesn’t really let Sole leave him, following them almost like a lost puppy. Although he doesn’t quite pick up on their strange behavior at first, he demands an answer in the most polite form. With Sole telling him of their insecurity and basically unleashing their feelings. He warmly takes their hand. “A little chub never hurt anyone. Here, look at mine!” He proudly pats his slightly pouched belly and smiles at Sole. “See? Ain’t hurting anyone, so ain’t nothing to be afraid of.”
Magnolia:
She would realize that Sole was feeling a bit insecure not too much later than their change in actions, picking up on bits of conversation that were off to her. Before Sole could leave her, she would confront them. After getting the truth out of them, she would just chuckle and kiss their cheek. “Honey, you are by far the most beautiful person, in and out, to walk into my life. Don’t think I’m just going to let you walk out now.”
Sturges:
He was only confused for the most part. As he had agreed to travel with Sole, only for them to bring him back to Sanctuary not too much later. He would be sad about it but wait for them to return and then question them. Once Sole told him how they felt, he would not hesitate to take them into his arms and flatter them. “Darlin’, you are so stunnin’. Truth be told, I was real disappointed when ya told me to wait here ‘cause I was gettin’ real used to lookin’ at your purty self all the time.”
X6-88:
He will wait for them for as long as they need to be away. Once they come back to get him, he will be hesitant to question why he was left behind in the first place. After Sole explains to him, he is still beyond confused with their reasoning. “But xir, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You have quite the healthy figure.”
Gage:
He would never realize what Sole’s issue was until they flat out told him. He would, however, wait a while before chasing after Sole and demanding an answer. After they tell him, he kind of just looks at them questioningly and shakes his head. “It’s refreshin’ to see somethin’ like yourself, I’ll tell ya that much, Boss. Heh, that body ain’t nothin’ to be ashamed of.”
Mason:
He cannot piece together the reason Sole left him, nor does he even care for reasoning. He will chase them down without a second thought and angrily express his annoyance with them. “First you tell me that you want me to travel with you, then you leave me at Fizztop to wait for however long you please. Ain’t gonna happen that way, Boss.” After Sole explains to him their reasoning, he still would be reluctant to show softer emotions. “Well… don’t let it happen again. You know you’re fucking hot anyway, right?”
Mags Black:
Because she makes a point to studying the Overboss, she realizes what their issue is before they even leave her behind. She will give them their space to recollect their feelings before approaching them again accusingly. “So you thought you could get rid of me? Won’t be that easy, unfortunately.” She jokes with Sole and hesitantly takes their hand. “I know the reason you left me, and I think it was pretty stupid. Don’t let it happen again. You’re quite the sight to look at and I was missing you dearly.”
Nisha:
She is annoyed with Sole and goes back to her own place. She doesn’t attempt to find them and waits for them to come to her. Only then she will bring up that they left for a very stupid reason and ridicule them for it. “If you leave me like that again, I can only assume you don’t like what we have going on here. I don’t care that you’re a little bigger, idiot.”
William Black:
He pieces together that Sole is insecure about something as they’ve fallen for him and he never can quite figure it out on his own. The way he sees the Boss, they are absolutely perfect in his eyes and have nothing to be ashamed of. Though he doesn’t know or understand what they dislike about themself, as he catches up to them, he lets them know just how much he thinks it’s nonsense. “Boss, there isn’t a thing about you that’s off-putting. Even those Pack folk with half a brain can see just how damn gorgeous you are.”
