Luna does like who she is, physically speaking, she doesn’t really mind her appearance and doesn’t have time to worry about it, but she would like, if it was even possible, to stop worrying about everything all the time and she’d like to have more faith in herself.

Care : How does your OC engage in self-care, if at all? If they don't, why not?

As I said, self-care is the least of her worries 😭 she probably should take care of herself sometimes tho.

I don’t think she’s ready to engage in a long-term relationship, she’s definitely not mature enough, the affection is very private, and she won’t really show it to anyone else other than her lover tbh.

She’d definitely enjoy a relationship but doesn’t think about it often since their adventures take most of her thoughts. Intimacy is really important for her tho. She’ll wait a long ass time to talk to her crew about Shanks.

She’s self-reflecting a lot but her main goal remains the same; finding the one piece and being the greatest sharpshooter in the world. She definitely does not know everything that she wants and it’ll change often but it’s just part of her journey.

She’ll try to hide how unsure of herself she is as much as possible, thought, to be sure not to demoralize her crew and the people around her. (Much like Usopp that says all these big words and is nevertheless scared)

She had a little sister and her parents until she was 20. Again, imma do a fic about the whole story. It’s family by blood but god she wishes her parents weren’t related to her. Their relationship was complicated and distant, but she absolutely adored her little sister and would’ve died to protect her.

Luna’s mentor for a little more than a year was daddy the father/masterson. She had tried to reach him before for mentoring and advices, because he was known to be one of the quickest sharpshooter around, but he had refused to teach her due to personal reasons. She came back to Loguetown, two years later, and asked for guidance again which he accepted.

They get along pretty well, it’s a lot like a daughter and father kind of relationship. He pushes her to her limit and they both relate to one another since Daddy’s dream to beat Yasopp is now Luna’s. (She also loves Masterson’s daughter)

She doesn’t currently have an official partner but her heart belongs to Shanks after they meet for the first time. It’s so intense that it leaves a mark on her and she definitely does not know how to handle it. (Imma do a fic about how they met for the first time so no worries hehehe)

Social Circle : What's your OC's social circle? Are they obligated to spend time with others in their circle, or are they happy to be there? Has their social standing and social circle ever changed, and if so, how did your OC feel about it?

Her social circle is mostly her crew (brass knuckle pirates) which includes, as of now, her captain; Megan (@lunar-cherries’s sona), the crew’s medic; Andrius (@lunar-cherries’s oc) and their scout; Marin (@stuckinthewrongworld’s oc). She absolutely adores her crew. There’s a reason she chose to follow Megan. They do have their ups and downs but they can count on each other and that’s what matters the most to Luna.

Her social circle changes every time they land on an island and meet other pirate crews, including the straw hats, the heart pirates, etc. Her crew easily makes friends and enemies, so they have a lot of acquaintances in the Grand Line and all the seas.

She has been the one to leave first and it’s a big part of her backstory. She left her hometown at 18, leaving her sister and parents being to become stronger and find Daddy Masterson to train her (that’s the first time she’ll ask him -> he refuses).

Luna deeply regrets it because it will be the last time she ever saw her family. She will always feel guilty about leaving them behind to die and it haunts her dreams for sure.

Exit : Has your OC ever had someone important leave their life in a way that was unremarkable, unintentional, or clumsy? How do they feel about it? Is there any chance they'll meet again?

I can’t think of anyone that has left her that was very very important. There’s Shanks that had to go his separate way and they both made peace with that, since they’re both pirates and after the same thing, but let’s say she really misses him and so does he. (They’re very discreet about it tho 😭)

I can only think of Shanks tbh. She’d probably freeze for a second wondering what the hell is he doing here. He’d be smoother about it, holding absolutely no grudges, and exchanging long tender looks showing her that the spark is still there.

If it was possible to fall in love with the same person again, she would. But I feel like it will take a long time before they see each other again.

Simon wasn’t someone who very willingly opened up to anyone, his teammates were no exception either, save for Price. It was always better to keep things quiet and let people assume what they pleased instead of trying to answer their questions. Better to remain mysterious than show your cards to the wrong person. a/n:this was originally started because of a snippet @thebeesatemyknees had written, thank you so much for letting me turn this into a full fic! I hope I was able to do it proper justice warnings:none, just tons of fluff Part 2

Johnny had badgered him from day one if he had a partner, going on and on about how much he loved his girlfriend. SImon wasn’t going to tell him anything, no matter what he’d keep his lips sealed.

Kyle was the next one to ask, though it was more in passing rather than a true and genuine question when he cornered the older man. They had been discussing mission details when the topic arose, did he have a next of kin? And if so, who would be the one to inform them if Ghost were to be KIA’d? He never asked Simon after that day, instead going on to different topics whether they had to do with the mission or what they wanted to eat. Kyle treated him like a friend, it was nice.

And John, well he knew all about Simon’s personal and very private life.

You were a new addition to the team, a medic that could stitch up a wound within a minute and get you back on the field within five. They were thankful to have you come around with them, helping stitch up a wound on Johnny’s arm, or cleaning up a gash on Kyle’s head. The only person who seemed to be a little wary around you was Simon, which both Johnny and Kyle felt odd. You fit in their group like the puzzle piece that was missing, and yet Simon acted as if he wanted nothing to do with you. Surely he’d warm up to you a little more, they were all sure of it.

“Thank you all for meeting me on such short notice. We’ve got word that an arms dealer is hosting a gala and we need to get more intel before we can swoop in.” Kate was a woman who took no shit and left no prisoners, she wasn’t going to risk this.

“Who do we want to send?” John was nervous, his men were trained for this, but putting them into a situation where they’d have to become someone else entirely? Nerve wracking.

“I was discussing it with Shepherd last night, and we’ve decided that Simon and Y/N will be going on this mission while the rest of you stake out the building.” All eyes suddenly shifted to Simon who looked calm as ever.

He’d forgone the mask for this mission briefing, knowing that only his teammates and Kate would be in the room with him. Knowing that you were going to be there made things a little more tense, could he handle something that dire?

“If you think that’s what’s best, I fully support the decision.” John wasn’t going to argue, Simon could be suave and charm the pants off of anyone if needed.

“Thank you, we’ll be heading out tomorrow and meeting up at the hotel. Promise me you’ll behave so no one suspects you, please.” Kate knew how much of a troublemaker that Johnny and Kyle could be, given the opportunity of course.

“I’ll make sure of it myself if need be, don’t you worry.” John smiled up at her, leaving Kate to wonder how much trouble there would be.

They would need to debrief you on the plane ride over, given that you weren’t even in the room with everyone. Having something like that just dumped on you with no time to prepare was the worst, how could they manage? Simon would just have John give you the rundown so he could worry about more important things, like how he’d have to act like the two of you were so desperately in love.

You would have an entire day to get comfortable in the hotel room, there would be a few people lingering so you’d get used to being stared at. Simon knew they’d mainly be staring at you, you were downright gorgeous. And with the clothes that had been picked out? A deep navy blue tux, with a pitch black button up and black silk tie. It perfectly matched the dress they’d picked out for you, a deep V down the front that left just enough to the imagination. The color matched his tux almost identically, the only difference was your dress was silk. 

“They’ve packed everything for you to do your own hair and makeup, we don’t want you to stand out too much, better to blend in.” It was the smartest idea, if you or Simon were to attract too much attention things would end badly.

“Yeah, Kate told me as much as she could, I made sure to pack my best heels.” You were nervous, it’d been so long since you’d been able to go out to something fancy.

“Are you sure you can handle this?” John knew you were smart and quick witted, but something about this mission unnerved him.

“I’m positive, Simon and I will get the intel and get out before anyone even notices we’re missing.” You were confident everything would go smoothly, Simon could be silent if needed.

John nodded at you, settling back into his seat as the plan began to descend down onto the tarmac below. Simon was staring at you from across the way, palms sweating slightly as the time drew closer to getting inside the hotel. Johnny was going to see how nervous he was and make comments, he was sure of it. The sound of tires squealing brought everyone’s attention to high alert. It was time to grab your things and head to the cars, you were driving over with Simon, leaving the other three to their own car.

It was mainly to not raise any suspicion, if you were seen driving with any man that wasn’t your husband word would spread before you managed to make it to the party. You were absentmindedly playing with your ring, twirling the obnoxiously large diamond with your other fingers. It was a habit you picked up whenever you tended to wear jewelry, though it was much better than picking at your cuticles.

“You feeling alright hun?” Simon glanced over at you, though his own nerves were shot, he wanted you to feel comfortable.

“A little nervous, but that’s to be expected considering the circumstances.” You kept twirling the ring, glancing between Simon and the road ahead of you.

Simon took a quick breath and grabbed your hand, lacing your fingers together without skipping a beat or taking his eyes off the road. You couldn’t stop the smile that spread across your face, you had been waiting to see how long it took before he finally felt comfortable around you. You’d need to practice around everyone else if you were going to look natural around a bunch of strangers. Everything was going to be just fine, you were sure of it.

John had set up everything in the hotel room, along with hanging up your dress and Simon’s tux to help steam out any wrinkles if needed. So far there was nothing to worry about, save for Soap acting like a little shit and pranking Simon and Kyle for the most part. You’d all settled in, changing into comfortable clothes and ordering food so that you wouldn’t have to leave. Simon was cleaning up the kitchen so he could sit down and enjoy dinner with you.

“Do you need any help?” You walked over to him, pressing your hand against his lower back.

“Nah, just need to finish cleaning this plate and we can eat.” Simon smiled at you, leaning down to press a kiss to your cheek.

“Whatever you say.” You patted his back gently, heading over to the small kitchen table.

Johnny raised a brow at how you and Simon seemed to naturally work with one another, he didn’t want to raise any suspicion. Kyle on the other hand was ignoring him entirely, digging into his own meal and scrolling through his phone. Simon had finally finished, grabbing his plate of food and heading over to sit with you. He could faintly hear that you were both discussing the mission and going over your alias’ one last time.

“Simon, you need to wear your ring.” You’d gotten on his case the entire day, he kept taking it off complaining that it felt weird to wear it.

“I’ll wear it during the mission tomorrow.” Simon brough the fork to his mouth, focusing on his plate rather than your raised brow.

“You say that now, but when we end up leaving you’re going to forget it and then we’re going to have to drive all the way back because you won’t wear your ring.” You had put yours on right away, mainly because you were forgetful and didn’t want to end up forgetting it.

“Are you really going to make me wear the ring all night?” Simon’s expression would normally terrify a recruit, but you’d gotten used to it.

“If I want to make sure you have your ring on? Yes, I’m going to make you wear your ring until we get back on that plane and go back home.” You’d glue it on if need be, but Simon knew better than to disobey orders.

John chuckled to himself watching the two of you, it was a dynamic he hadn’t seen in quite a while and it was pretty funny to witness. Johnny on the other hand was now even more flabbergasted at the way you worked together. Why did you seem so comfortable arguing with a man who’d killed for less? This was something sinister and it unnerved him to no end, he’d get to the bottom of this.

You’d offered to clean up everyone’s dinner dishes, carefully cleaning any knives before laying them on a towel to be dried by Simon. He walked over to where you were, wrapping an arm around your waist to pull your bodies flush together. Johnny’s jaw dropped open as he slapped Kyle’s arm to get his attention. The playful bickering was one thing, but watching Simon the Ghost Riley be so affectionate? 

“Damn, he’s a good actor.” Kyle watched the way you and Simon began to sway gently, giggling at something he’d whispered into your ear.

“Scarily good, didn’t think he had it in ‘em.” Johnny shook his head, turning back towards the computer in front of him.

It wasn’t until the sound of someone kissing caught their attention once more. Simon had dipped you, lips pressed against yours as his arms wrapped around your waist. Johnny’s jaw dropped wide open, well if you weren’t together already that was surely going to change. You pressed your hands against Simon’s chest, laughing happily as you stared up at him.

“Cap, do ya think Lt and the medic are gonna get together after all this?” Johnny had high hopes, no one gets kissed the way Simon kissed you and simply part ways.

“What’re you talking about?” John barely lifted his gaze from the screen, typing up the pre mission notes to help catch up on them before.

“Simon’s practically tonguing the medic! He’s gonna woo her.” He waggled his brows at the older man, cackling when John rolled his eyes.

“Oh, yeah that’s not gonna happen.” John’s attention focused back on the task at hand.

Johnny’s laughing abruptly halted, what the hell had he meant that Simon wasn’t going to woo the medic, it was obvious! Clearly John had no idea what he was talking about, Johnny could see the little twinkle in your eye from across the room.

“Gaz, am I wrong or do ye think Ghost and medic are gonna end up together?” He was determined to get someone to agree with him.

“Oh, if they don’t I’m asking for her number for him.” Kyle may have had a slight crush on you, not that he’d ever admit it.

John sat upright in his chair, focusing on Johnny and Kyle who thought they were being more subtle than they actually were.

“Have you ever looked at their name tag by chance?” John wanted to see if the other two would finally catch on.

Both Johnny and Kyle shook their heads, neither of them had a reason to over analyze your name tag when they had injuries to be taken care of. He sighed softly to himself before glancing over to you and Simon. You were laughing at some bad joke Simon had whispered to you, a bright smile on his face.

“Her last name is Riley.” John watched as realization dawned on their faces.

You’d been married this entire time and no one, besides Price, was none the wiser. How the hell had you managed to keep it hidden from everyone? Then again Simon wasn’t the most overly friendly or affectionate when it came to anyone. You were his wife though, that was different! Surely you could bring out a different side of him, something that no one usually got to…of course.

“Would’ve been nice to know at least.” Johnny shrugged off his disappointment, this was a big thing to keep hidden away.

“It wasn’t my place to tell, just remember that.” John wanted to respect your privacy, it was the least he could do considering your line of work.

Johnny and Kyle understood why Price hadn’t admitted to questions about your relationship, but knowing the truth? It felt good. They watched the way you and Simon danced to the music playing from your phone. Simon’s arms were wrapped around your waist, pressing kisses all over your face as you tried to squirm away. It was a side of their teammate they’d never thought to see, and no one outside of this hotel room would ever get to see it.

At least, not until after the mission of course.

Yay yay tcoav qna!!!! I still have one more chapter left to read, but I’m super curious about the magic aspect of Yuu Shi’s homeland!! So far we know it’s been banned for like a longggg time, but magic deffo exists. How did it get banned? And regarding that, what does NRC in Yuu Shi’s universe even teach since it’s probs not a prestigious magic school?? I kinda just want to know the similarities and differences between twisted wonderland and Yuu Shi’s world

Also, I didn’t leave any comments on ao3, but ur writing style’s wonderful!! the pov switching is really smooth and not confusing to me at all, and i love how you characterized the staff members given the super limited information about them in game (in contrast to the students’, at least). Magic in Dusk Summit is a rather tricky subject, some people partially agree that the land claims it as "dangerous," while others think its some weird form at garnering control over the citizens. It is a very... strict place, so to speak.

The main reason that magic has been banned has actually been long forgotten, both by the people themselves and the ones who rule. (Ofc i know the reason but thats entering big spoiler territory ehehe >:))) Therefore, it was simply watered down to "magic=danger!!!" Over time.

Even then they are not particularly wrong- given that in Yuu Shi's world, the outside lands still DO practice magic. She just doesn't know jack shit about it due to being raised inside the Dusk Summit. It's because that magic is still practiced in other countries that the rulers are able to handpick tragedies and push the 'magic?!?! bad!!!' propaganda.

The main differences between the two worlds of Twisted Wonderland is that basically, if you look on a globe, her homeland has poofed out of existence. Everything else is still there.

As for why that seems to be one of the only differences, i'll expand on that in later chapters mwahahaha- everything isnt as it seems, ofc!!

So. Hear me out. Clown is still the overarching villain of the series. Whatever's happening with Kyle and the void is still """""important"""""" n stuff, but (totally not because i'm biased or anything (i totally am)) that's all a red herring covering up the real threat. The idea I have rn is that Clown is biding his time and finishing up whatever research he had on the void, then when Kyle is defeated, he's gonna swoop in, take the void for himself, and become basically unstoppable which'll lead into season 3 or smth.

Bits Of Info That Makes The Pepe Silvia Meme Cover Relevant

Time to be insane and dump every single bit of potential evidence on why I think Clown's a bigger threat than the others think he is, starting at the very beginning (i'll try to keep this as chronological as possible but i'm busting my brain trying to piece everything together i watched this so out of order at first).

First, obviously, is the whole him killing Pyro bit and betraying him to get to Rae, then killing everyone in the commune. hoWEVER bro just casually tore open a portal to the nether and back and none of the other people in the group can do that. It's kinda hinting that Muu knows how to make portals but other than that the original s1 group has been stuck there since the start (which maybe suggests Muu isn't from this dimension also but that's another thing to unpackage).

a side note here: lincu came from an end portal that clown made for maddy and they NEVER BRING THAT UP AGAIN????????? WHAT

In the Pyro POV that came after that, it was heavily suggested that Clown was originally a conqueror or insanely destructive pillager (not the actual mob) (like come on, "bow before the scythe emblem" or whatever the words are? just write your name in the book you're practically screaming it at this point). Then, when Branzy showed up in that cameo episode, he didn't shut up about how Clown destroyed entire villages and killed a fuck ton of people (i will scream more about this point in a second 😁).

In the Season 2 opener animatic, he dropped his manipulative buddy buddy act the moment the void appeared, stabbed Kaboodle, and fucked off. He was also shown going full aggro on Magic, trying to get information about the void from her. A little while later, he's shown reading books on the void and finds something "perfect" for whatever he's planning (brain explosion).

Looping back to the Branzy cameo, it was revealed that he, Branzy, and Ashswag worked together in a laboratory somewhere in a different dimension researching and experimenting with portals. Ashswag said that Clown pushed him into one they made, which resulted in him glitched out and broken (WHICH OPENS UP ANOTHER CAN OF WORMS ARE THEY SUGGESTING THAT THIS IS ALL ACTUALLY JUST A SIMULATION/GAME LIKE HOW MINECRAFT ACTUALLY IS???????????? holy shit if i think about this for too long i'm gonna have another huge scream fest again).

and THEN in the most recent one as of today (aka A New Issue) it's revealed that Pyro had his suspicions that Clown is otherworldly and unnatural. Bro casually soloed a 100-Piglin invasion. I already had the thought of "oh yeah this guy's definitely not from any of the three dimensions" but the only contradictory thing that popped up for that was he and Pyro used to live together for a bit with the Waste Walkers. HOWEVER with this new information that Clown was just this anomaly that popped up periodically in their group, he's practically screaming that he's not from any of the three dimensions.

BASICALLY. I'M VERY NORMAL RIGHT NOW.

HA it makes sense eventually I promise 😭

Okay let me try to explain this to you.

To start, while Connie didn’t have Steven, she did have Amethyst (they met around the same time Steeb and Connie met in canon). And that gem kinda took Connie’s early rebellion and naturally sneaky kid-ness and cranked it up to 100.

She was the one who pretty much introduced Connie to gems and all that, and as Connie became more and more enthralled in that world, the more she wanted to become apart of it too.

So she went through the good ol’ go-behind-my-parents-back-and-learn-how-to-use-a-sword, because she did get close to the other two gems too after awhile. And of course she met Lion and they became besties.

Becoming a Crystal Gem really did build up her confidence (tho she’s still a bit of a loner sometimes), but along with the training and school and all the classes Connie’s parents made her take, she began to get exhausted.

And then remember the incident where Connie punched Jeff? Yeah, that happened, and Connie’s parents finally got super suspicious.

Eventually, one way or another, they figured out what Connie had been doing.

And for awhile she was totally grounded, Amethyst managed to get in touch with her but it was a bump in her training.

But yeah, she finally lost her mind (not literally) and ended up opening up (snapping and blowing up at her first) to her mom. After some much needed long communication, Mom-maheswaran agreed to hear out the gems. And the gems were more than happy to come and back Connie up and overall vouch for their favorite human crystal gem.

Long story short, the Maheswaran parents ended up deciding to let Connie continue her training and pursuit of being a crystal gem, so long as it didn’t drastically effect her studies and the Crystal Gems took good care of her when she was away.

(They didn’t realize exactly what the level of danger was until their daughter went missing)

Very curious and ridiculously impulsive. His hunger for information is never stilled. He often does a lot of stupid things, sometimes getting into trouble, because of his impulsivity.

Goofy. I wouldn’t say he’s the funniest guy you know, but he enjoys a good dose of humour and shits and giggles every now and then. And of course weird ass shenanigans.

Has a big interest in the supernatural, legends and folk lore. He has a ton of books on these subjects and he knows a lot of ghost stories from the top of his head. He loves visiting creepy and possibly haunted places. And of course, he’s into horror. Might I add, he’s also a bit of a monsterfucker. Look at this man.

He LOVES cooking and is very passionate about good food. Especially Ramen, Ramen is his favourite and he will info dump on you about how amazing it is when prepared correctly. That being said, he’s also tired 24/7 and often struggles to come up with enough energy to cook for himself so instant Ramen it is.

Ray’s special talent

I can’t talk about Ray without mentioning Dee.

Ray has the unique ability to talk and see Death/The Grim Reaper, which he started lovingly calling ‘Dee’. He obtained this ability involuntarily after a near death experience in a car accident. There’s a lot to say about this but I don’t want to spoil too much, you’ll have to read the story ;D

But it’s safe to say that Dee changed his life a great deal. Even though she’s sometimes annoying and has the worst timing, they have become quite good friends. Dee has shown him aspects of life he wasn’t aware of (which is quite ironic) and in turn Ray teaches her about humans. And, of course, Dee finally gets a friend.

- First and foremost, literally everything I write about her pre-turned verse derives from the LARP I attend and act out in person while playing her character. It’s a weekend long, I’m actually going this coming week (that’s when her brother dies and she officially becomes a vampire lol), and anything important that happens there is written into her backstory here. I play her future verse here. Both her past and present are constantly being updated, as whatever occurs in LARP directly influences her present, making her the only character I have that will be consistently updated for years coming.

- Leathe is the hometown/world she comes from. She is a Shavali — a spiritual and Slavic based group that are very, very tight knit and essentially act like a mafia. Family and freedom means everything to them. They are externally performers, jesters, entertainers, wear a shit ton of colorful clothing and bells and sashes to gain the spotlight. Internally, they are very perceptive, keen, eavesdroppers, sly, and can even be murderous as all fuck should someone harm one of the family.

However, their two-sided reputation eventually caught up to them and towns often view Shavali in a negative light — murderers, thieves, liars, etc. They’re often the first blamed for town crimes, even if they had nothing to do with it. Shavali are constantly fighting to prove their worth.

To lose a family member is to lose your entire self.

- Betty as a human used to have a personality similar to Charlie. Save your people under any cost necessary, redeem the misunderstood and damned. She loved so hard, cared very deeply, and was always on guard to protect. She was a heroine — a front liner, a fighter with a two-sided battle axe the same height as herself (5’7). She was also a bard and performed under the stage name ‘Lullaby Betty’ — and all of her bardic spells dealt w mind manipulation. She was very persuasive and charismatic, occasionally sultry and seductive to get information out of someone.

This bled somewhat into her turned days — her axe isn’t used as much and her bardic spells were entirely forgotten, replaced with her vampire powers as well as blood magic. She’s even more conniving in her persuasion and charisma and she’s even worse with being seductive to get what she wants. Before it was usually for fun, but nowadays it’s used with malicious intent. Her turned days are chaotic evil. Her pre turned days were chaotic neutral.

She slowly forgot about her good morals and regards for others the more the vampiric disease festered. Love became obsession, the plethora of traumas and losses turned her into a selfish and closed off creature coupled with unbridled rage and bitterness, and her respect for the Gods went out the window. Any hope to be a heroine was trashed due to how badly it hurt and how horridly the expectations of the townsfolk damaged her, leading her to entirely discard the optimistic look on anything that walked the earth. Obsessed with freedom and getting to do whatever the fuck she wanted with no repercussion, she became a villain, never wanting to feel the pain of loss and rejection again after failing too many times to save her people.

- People don’t necessarily die in Leathe. They die often in AWFUL ways — but are usually sent back to the living with no memory. If your luck is particularly shitty, you could not come back though.

Yeah, that fucked her up pretty badly. That meant she would have had to watch ALL of her family and friends die CONTINUOUSLY and never know if they’d return or not. Too many times had she watched her loved ones perish in some freak accident or failure in battle, sob out, then wait in the freezing cold for them to come back in fears they wouldn’t. Her father figure once was turned to ash right in front of her. Her older brother was poisoned slowly. She once was eaten alive by a zombie lord herself. The dead may not remember, but she sure as fuck does.

Over and over and over and over again.

- Her older brother, Dimitrius, taught her everything. He raised her, protected her, taught her about the culture, taught her how to honor the spirits, how to get around town, etc. She looked up to him like a fucking God more than a brother — she wanted to be like him when she was older. He was a role model and her last saving grace.

However, he turned his soul over to an infernal many moons ago to save some of the family — which means when he dies for the last time, his soul doesn’t get to reincarnate or go anywhere. It goes to the infernal’s lantern — and used as ammo against the celestials, ceasing to exist. Nothingness.

He was killed in front of her. She screamed, begged, tried to attack the infernal, her father figure had to hold her back — and nobody could do anything. All she had left of him was his bell of healing, which she still wears on today centuries later. Despite the countless years passing, she never forgot about Dimitrius.

It was the same day she too died and became a vampire — and it was that very day the original Betty died with him.

She was never the same again upon respawn.

- The townsfolk eventually split into unsure gossips when they found out she was a vampire amongst the living.

On one side, she DID continue to fight for her people — albeit a lot more violently and mercilessly now. She was BRUTAL with her axe and carried the rage of a barbarian (her father figure was in fact a barbarian lmao) and was taught lethal blood magic by the same vampire that bit her. She was melded into a winter soldier by the church of Drevarria — a goddess that created the undead and taught her followers necromancy and lessons through unadulterated agony. Meaning she would be trained so violently that she nearly DIED relentlessly. Broken limbs, punctured organs, open lacerations, violent spellwork, etc and still forced to fight and endure to become numb to the agony.

All of this made her a fucking TERRIFYING opponent to deal with became she was immune to common physical bludgeons, mind alterations, and fear itself. She often carried about an aura of intimidation and a spell that caused others to cower in fear, only to decapitate them once they fell to their knees.

The other side feared her so much for being undead that they actually tried to kill her. Her own friends did in fact turn against her and tried to kill her despite her trading in mortality in order to protect her people better.

And thus, the anger and bitterness grew.

- When I tell you this bitch became a force to be RECKONED with after she left Leathe on nothing but HATRED, ANGER, BETRAYAL, AND A DISGUST FOR ANYTHING THAT BREATHED OR EXISTED LMAO

Thus, the lovely Ubersreik (Warhammer End Times) days commenced ✨

The era of self experimentation to see how far she can push her immortal body, getting appointed as a war commander for these giant ass mutated rat men, claiming part of an abandoned castle to train her men and herself, raiding clans, mass genocide on both other clans and humans, interrogation and torture, black market business with her elixir brewing, etc. This resulted in a LOT of deaths — but due to her immortality and never ending spite for the Gods, she kept coming back. Which made her power trip all the more insane.

- And then FINALLY, on her tenth death, the Gods went god fuck this bitch and shot her down to Hell to punish her for the novels worth of crimes.

and she just set up shop in the hotel with her elixirs and thrived with the chaos, not regretting a damn thing GFGDHDHFHVBB

Karma’s changed a ton, I can’t say that enough. She used to just love bomb on anyone who showed interest in her and would be an open book but really just trauma dumping on others.

Now? She’s worked through a lot of that pain and come to accept that shit happens and not everyone needs to be apart of that shit. So for her to fully open up is gonna take some time. Long serious talks about random stuff. She’s definitely someone where you’ll know her body before you know her thoughts which in a way is still sad.

She wants a deep relationship with someone, someone she knows she can talk to about anything at anytime but that is still a heavy struggle of hers. It’s part trust issues and part ‘I don’t want to tell this person unwanted information’ type of thing. She’ll get there though, she’s got a lot of good friends so far so some of you are getting to that point where she’ll open up and let her feelings be shown.

YES OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING TO EXPAND ON THIS i just couldn't figure out how to work it into my story (though, there's a little bit in my original chapter!!). i'm gonna go through roxy, the boys, jo, and camille for this one and its SO LONG but i hope you enjoy bc i had so much fun writing it

Roxy:

How many people are in her immediate family? - The only person in Roxy's immediate family is her father, Declan Somerset. How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Roxy has no idea how many people are in her extended! As far as she's aware, her father has his parents who she's never met and probably never will meet. Her father is the only person who she has ever considered her family, and that's just fine by her. - Information from the author wise, this is just flavor and will probably never come up in the actual story, Declan is an only child, but his parents had many siblings, leaving him with a shit ton of cousins. However, his father and mother both had large age gaps between them and their closest in age sibling so all of his cousins are 10+ years older than him. In combination with leaving home at 17 after falling out with his parents and his family members being far older than he is, he's never felt the need to ever reconnect with anyone blood related to him after moving from Texas to Minnesota. By extension, Roxy has never met or learned about anyone in her family beyond her own father. Who in her family is she closest with? - This may come as a shock: Her father. Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - Roxy is not close with her bio mom, and Declan being her biological dad would make her technically close with her birth family I guess! - Another fun author fact: In the original draft of this story, Roxy's mother played a big role in her connection to the arts and music and had recently passed away, severing her ties to anything music related. Her father, after seeing this, pushed her to go audition at the pop star search and that's how she ended up meeting the guys etc, etc. but i realized that's almost exactly the same as the plot to one of my favorite shows, Julie and the Phantoms, and i completely wrote her mom out of the story and am now trying to achieve the "Kendall and Katie's dad effect" where she's just never mentioned. She truly matters so little I never even named her lmaooo - In the published version (more flavor text tbh), her mom moved from Texas back to her hometown of Duluth to have Roxy, dumped her on Declan, dipped, and they never heard from her again. I imagine that she was just flirting around the Texas punk scene hoping to get with someone who was going to be famous and accidentally ended up pregnant - when Declan was like 'damn i'm gonna have a kid guess i need a real job now' and left his band to move to Duluth with her, she left him. - Slowly but surely, Roxy's finding Mrs. Knight as a maternal figure, though she's not actively searching for someone to fill that role! - Carlos, Logan, Kendall, and James are also something special to her, though, not quite found family... - Camille and Jo on the other hand... If she imagined having sisters, she thinks it would be a lot like being around them are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - yes/no/not/no or were there only peers from school? - High school friends, Mag and Dani, have been mentioned in the story already a few times! Mag, roped Roxy into joining his band during the first week of her freshman year at her first high school. Dani, the drummer, though mostly keeping to themself eventually came around to both her and Mag enough to join as well. The three of them were mostly just a shitty cover band, but as Roxy started to grow into her own (and into her feelings for Mag) she became comfortable enough to begin sharing her songs with her friends. when this backfired, she was so depressed over everything that had happened with them her father literally made her change schools between freshman and sophomore year so she'd hopefully never see them again. two weeks after the switch, she goes to the audition and her life is forever changed!

2. Carlos

How many people are in his immediate family? - His mother (Sylvia), father (Erik), and three older sisters (Maria, Lupe, and Alena). - Along with these six living under one roof, his grandparents (unnamed, mom's side) live in one of those duplex houses with them How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Carlos just has the biggest fucking family on the planet, he couldn't name everyone even if he tried. he and his sisters combined couldn't name everyone if they tried! they all meet once every few years to check up on each other, but rarely hear from them outside of that. since they're so large of a family, they're spread out across the US, though he's the first Garcia to settle in California! Who in his family is he closest with? - His dad! If not evidenced from chapter 8, he and his father get along the best. they match each other completely in energy and ideas, and having four girls living with them meant they often had to band together when they ganged up on each other. Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Why have one when we can have BOTH! He's close with his immediate family, and sees Logan, James, and Kendall as an extension of this. They're his brothers!!!! Forever!!! Always!!!! are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/yes/not/no or were there only peers from school? - Carlos is just such a sweetheart he's got so many friends from school because everyone loves him! While he never got as close to anyone as he did Logan, James, and Kendall, he did value the friendships he made in Minnesota and I imagine he texts his other friends randomly like "had some caramel coffee today, your favorite! miss you!" and "i'll guest list you for the duluth show, let me know if you can make it"

3. Kendall

How many people are in his immediate family? - I see his situation nearly identical to Roxy's with the addition of a sister! - Jennifer and Katie are the only members of his immediate family. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - 0... I think Jennifer lost her parents at a pretty young age and went through the foster care system which is why she's so overprotective and doting on her own children. She knew what it was like to love and lose, and really wanted a family of her own so her own children would never have to feel the same way. Who in his family is he closest with? - Katie! From the minute he could teach her to scheme, they've been thick as thieves. They know each other so well they might as well be able to communicate via telepathy at this point. Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Re: Carlos are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/no/not/no or were there only peers from school? - The hockey team! Like he grew up playing with Logan, James, and Carlos I think he's been around those guys for so long they're really good friends of his. I don't think they really keep in contact all that much, but he can see what they're up to on ScuttleButter and will comment on posts etc

4. Logan

How many people are in his immediate family? - His moms, Joanna and Sabina, are the only members of his immediate family. - Another fun fact: In the original draft, Logan had a little brother named Percy! I tried to work him into the story but then it got way too Logan-centric and eventually I just forgot Percy existed at all a la Tina from That 70s Show, so I just took him out entirely. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - I think Joanna's family keeps in contact and she has both her parents and a few siblings with one or two kids around Logan's age! They're not Duluth local, but they see each other a few times throughout the year and Logan does his best to keep in contact with them, even if they are on the jerky side of the jock spectrum. I think they all play hockey too :) -Sabina's family didn't keep in contact after she came out :( but she was gladly accepted into Joanna's family, so that counts for her extended family! Who in his family is he closest with? - Sabina... She's a pediatric doctor! Through their shared love of medicine, she inspired him to want to pursue his own career in medicine! Though, I'd say he's just as close with Joanna, too, because she's a hockey head! I can't decide lol :) Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Logan, while not their bio son, was adopted practically the second he was born and his bio mom needed to put him up for adoption, so he considers his moms his birth family. And he has to stay with them sometimes. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Brooke cut her parents off once she became a successful business owner and moved to the mid-west. He has family somewhere on the east coast, but he wouldn't know how to go about contacting them... He also doesn't really care. - Wanting as little to do with Blake as possible, James tends to avoid family gatherings on that side, but he has two grandparents over there. Penny also has her parents and a sister, but he hates seeing them too. Anything relating in anyway back to his father is something he tries to ignore. Who in his family is he closest with? - By default, Brooke, but only because he doesn't have other options. Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? -Found family all the way. Kendall, Carlos, Logan, Jennifer, and Katie mean the world to him! How many people are in her immediate family? - Her father... She's also a child of divorce to me, so her mother and older sister are in the picture... Just... Also not because her parents separated when they were practically babies. It's where her jealousy issues come from... Her mom cheated on her dad so he split and got Jo in the custody battle and her mom got her sister and moved away from North Carolina. That's why it was so easy for them to up and leave their home state and start a new life in Los Angeles + it was better for his government job. How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - She's got grandparents, two uncles, and a few cousins! They helped her dad through the divorce, and Jo is much closer with them than she is her mom and sister. Who in her family is she closest with? - By default, now, her father, though before she left NC, her grandmother! She taught theater at her local high school and inspired Jo to move out to LA to chase her dream <3 They still talk almost every day, too. - Now I'm retconning my own story and saying she's on the phone with her grandma in the chapter where Kendall is trying to woo her LMAO Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - Birth family for sure, just her dad's side! - Though, as time goes on, Camille and Roxy are starting to feel like sisters! (Good sisters, that is, not shitty older sisters who only call on her birthday) are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/yes/moderately/if she remembers to call them on holidays or were there only peers from school? - I imagine Jo was moderately popular in school and had a good lot of friends, similar to Carlos' situation at his school. How many people are in her immediate family? - Her mom and dad, and her FIVE older brothers. Yeah. - I never gave her parents names, but her brothers (from oldest to youngest) are Gabriel, Jean-Luc, Elliot, Claude, and Jules How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - She has no clue, considering it was such a hassle to travel with six children her parents just never did, outside of their annual camping trip. So, she's never met all of her family, but she knows she has grandparents, a few aunts and uncles, and a small army of cousins. Who in her family is she closest with? Her closest in age brother, Jules! Before she and her dad moved to Hollywood in her pre-teen years, he was the last remaining brother living in her childhood house before moving out when she was 11. Though their primary mode of communication is through the phone, they talk pretty regularly and are able to match each other's energies well. When she get's all crazy, he always knows what to say to calm her down. Plus, he loves Logan... Can't wait to meet the guy... So Camille loves talking to him! Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - She's close with her birth family, but since she moved away from them as a young girl, she doesn't really feel all that connected to them. They feel more like extended relatives than immediate relatives, but it doesn't bother her! Everyone in her family loves her, even if they do think she can be a bit over the top sometimes. - Before going to her family about important things, however, Camille finds herself rushing to Jo and Roxy <3 are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/yes/not/no or were there only peers from school? - She's got her friends from the Palm Woods school, considering she practically grew up with most of the kids in that classroom, but she's never felt closer to anyone than she has Jo, Roxy, Logan, Kendall, Carlos, and James.

Diluc is the kind of old-guard rich and not necessarily the flashy type we think of when we see stars today. He looks like he dresses normally enough, but the shit he wears is the best of the best. High-quality, maximum comfort, all of it.

Ayato is like that to a certain extent, as he is the odder kind of eccentric rich that has him purchasing an island on impulse. So naturally, he can afford to have a strange sense of style too.

”But think about it! When I can put about three boba drinks each in my sleeves, I can drink boba tea whenever I want to! I’m a genius.”

Yelan just happened to run into Diluc one day when he was getting a coffee. The barista had messed up her order and Diluc was behind her in line.

Yelan was about to give up when Diluc ordered two of the same thing she did (twelve espresso shots with cinnamon - beyond the legal limit) and paid for her.

But what shocked her the most was the absent-minded way he gave the front his payment. A stack of like thirty twenties.

Here’s the thing though. He’s really nice for someone with a shit ton of money. A little unaware, blunt and direct, dense as a pound cake, and really weird, but genuinely nice.

They started meeting there every few days as time and schedules allowed them to, hitting it off as friends.

At some point, Ayato went to the same coffee shop because his favored boba tea shop was closed for renovations and he was also up for three straight days.

Ayato: How many shots are you legally allowed to give me?

Barista: Seven.

Yelan & Diluc: He’s asking for the Sudden Death.

Barista: Ah, I see. So twelve.

So naturally, they incorporated him into this little group of theirs the instant he chugged it all in one go and asked for another.

Yelan works as a commentator for the digital and e-commerce sphere, a columnist for some digital papers, and also runs some hustles that aren’t really taxable.

But her real work lies in being an internet sleuth. She knows all sorts of shit and it’s dangerous work. The dark web loves her as they buy information, objects, and the occasional domain from her as well.

She has the Tik Tok on a burner account of a burner account on a burner phone that she’s rigged to be bleached when compromised.

So yeah, it’s a shock to them all when their collective clownery starts gaining traction.

I have what some people would describe to be a problem.

So I love the idea of them having "lore" on Tiktok like yeah Yelan and Diluc met in a coffee shop when he bought a ridiculous amount of coffee.

But in the "lore" Yelan just picked him up one day.

Like one of Yelan's Tiktok's is that Just a Video of Diluc Drinking a Capri sun well spacing out in a bean bag chair, and the sound is, "Oh, people are asking how bagged a baddie Diluc? I didn't bag shit. Yelan just picked me up one day and threw me over she should, and I've been here ever since."

And honestly, that's not far off. Cause she probably warned him about flashing cash.

I'm also thinking about Diluc still being ridic strong here and absolutely not looking like it, but man always goes to the gym. And one of Tiktoks is just Diluc going to a public gym for the first time. And Yelan is cracking up as he like asking here like "Is it ok if I use this??? This isn't someone's?"

Diluc is absolutely old money. His family has been stupid rich for generations. And what surprises people is that Diluc has had an actual job before. He worked at a cafe/bar his family personally runs. And In Highschool his dad had him and Kaeya work there.

Now for Ayato. His lore is a lot funnier cause he wanted something more dramatic. But it actually changes every time he tells it.

Ayato is from a wealthy family that has been steadily growing. And it isn't as old as Diluc's. And Diluc's family is like business wealthy. But Ayato's family is high government office rich.

And while Yelan's TikTok's about Diluc are him being like a good boy and trying to understand without like being condescending. Ayato just absolutely doesn't get it and just. Gives up halfway through.

So the story takes place from the perspective of "Beatrice," an extremely haunted, traumatized, and morbid 17-year-old in her junior year. She has noticed a shit ton of paranormal activity happening ever since her sister went missing five years ago at their uncle's farm. Her uncle has been arrested for having human teeth in his hog pen, non of which are from her sister. He swears up and down that those teeth came from people who were attempting to hurt him due to his super secret knowledge. He says that he saved Penny and she ran away during the attack, however, Beatrice has no idea of any sort of "attack." She slept through the night and reported no disturbances, and to boot, her uncle reported and aided in the search of Penny. While acting as if he had no clue she went missing that morning. The trauma of this whole ordeal causes her to miss A TON of school due to heading straight to a grippy sock vacation. She is held back and ends up in class with her cousin, Valentine.

Valentine is the stereotypical pretty and popular girl. She's very grounded and level headed and by extension keeps Bee calm and functioinal. Valentine is very supportinve of what Bee goes through and proposes that they create a sort of club to find, and document, any other paranormal cases amongst their peers. Now Valentine is super fucking shady. Obviously enabling what everyone else believes to be Bee's already unstable brain folding on itself is not very supportive. This must mean Valentine has some interest or maybe even experience to back this up, right? Well I can't say because I made this role for my actual cousin, and she has to cosign on if this is cool enough for her acting skills.

Anywho, they start a club that immediately becomes a laughing stock. Valentine is pretty viscious in defending both Bee and the club, and doesn't appreciate the other students and teachers humming the tune of ghostbusters. This doesn't last long as a teacher comes to their aid and agrees to supervise the club making it a real thing, however they need a third member.

I cannot give much information on the teacher or what they will do because my bestie hasn't wrote anything yet as I'm indecisive.

So you may be wondering where the slenderverse or creepypasta comes into this, well I think it would be very cool for a small cult like following of missing kids all throughout the surrounding counties to be sacrificing people to bring an entity back to power. This entity is likely going to be slenderman since I found a really cool warden skin texture for him and I think an eight pages inspired scene with that texture pack would be very funky fresh.

Now I'm a bit of an elitist when it comes to marble hornets and honestly slender verse in general. I'm not a big fan of the whole slender mansion concept, nor am I a big fan of hoodie and masky being proxies. Also, I feel like there are some copyright issues with the characters as proxies, and I don't want them to kick my ass. So I don't want to add slender verse and creepypasta as an untied force, more as separate entities sort of working for the same outcome. For marble hornets, I'm thinking of making it a different timeline where the arg isn't existing. However, I kind of like the idea where this all takes place after the series and the cast goes to find the remaining cast of Marble Hornets, but I feel that impedes on that separate concept. Though the idea of Brian being in a great uncle Ford role sounds funky fresh. Like he died but somehow came back through shenanigans and has been preparing for the return, but I don't want to mess anything up and make it cheesy or convoluted.

Another issue arises, I have a personal beef with the creator of Ticci - Toby, and I'm pretty sure they don't even remember me, but I don't want my ass kicked. So I'm not sure how to add this character either. I was thinking of going the fear street route, where a character that goes through the original story of Ticci - Toby is present, and is chosen to fill a role. Like he goes missing, maybe he's the third member, and he comes back later as an antagonist. I don't know but I want to incorporate him somehow some way.

Another character I'm working really hard on is Nina the Killer. I don't want to touch the redesign nor do I want to go with the full story. Basically, I want Nina to be more like the "Red Makes You Hate" version of herself in the sense that she has interacted with Jeff, but she's in the same instutition as Bee went to before. I don't want her to be at the point of no return. I think she should hold some obessive qualities and a general oddness about her, but I think she'd make a great addition to the main cast and will likely show up during the creepypasta focused part.

Now, I want Jeff to have a pretty big plot. My favorite plot in a lot of different fan fiction is when he's being chased by Jane and Liu. I think this is an iconic duo but I do have some ideas for Jane. I was listening to Ride the Cyclone: Ballad of Jane Doe, and I came up with this concept from it. Very early stages, so bare with me. So Jane is from the county "Redtop" and attends the public school. She was in theatre and one of the musical shows they performed allowed them to attend a state competition. I'm from Kentucky, so this is all happening here, sorry. So they head up to, placeholder Frankford, and are set to stay the night. Well the drama teacher and his superviser are not as watchful as they should be and Jane and five other cast members sneak out during the day to check out this cat cafe. They head over and of course are caught once the teachers notice and call them. While they're waiting on the drama teacher to drive over, they mention walking to the subway a little into town, not but a walking distance away. The teacher agrees and keeps them on the phone until they start talking about a very suspicious individual following them around. Somehow three, including Jane, are led away from the group and are kidnapped. After enduring a lot of torture from Jeff, the other two are thoroughly deceased and Jane is the only one left. She was always combative and sassy, making Jeff sort of obsess about hurting specifically her even going as far to look into who her family is. Eventually, law enforcement is catching up on the case of the missing redtop kids and Jeff sets Jane on fire in an attempt to make it as hard as possible to confirm her identity. Not to save his own ass, he just wanted to add a bit more salt to the wound. They find the two others and an extremely burnt body and close the case.

Now here's where it can get a bit cloudy, I'm trying to figure out how to make her come back to life. How would that work and why would the government have that power? Why would they risk this coming out to the public if Jeff has been deemed killable. Well I thought maybe the anguish and torture she died feeling would be enough to fuel her into chasing him. I think Jane should be a reanimated corpse hellbent on killing Jeff. I don't have many ideas on Liu just yet. I also don't know if I want to add government intervention because fuck it anarchy.

There are also a few characters I don't think I should add, like Laughing Jack for example. However, I would love to figure out how to redesign or maybe create some other character to fill the role he would have played. Slenderman will be the only entity other than perhaps zalgo because I don't see how I could add any of his fannon brothers. The appropriate ones, of course. I like the ideas of proxies, and I think that should be what the cult is based on.

OKAYYY sorry for the rambling. This is all the ideas I've thought about so far. This is just dumping the concept for anyone who might be interested. Please give any feedback or ideas you think I should add or fix.

nice transformation, especially the leadups i think it absorbs information from whatever it eats, hence its immediate decision to suck up the evidence kinda like a bird of paradise with its colorful dance pre-attack; wtf was that about anyway? o'dude wanted to capture its insides i guess interesting realization not to look at it tech dude got forgotten at the end; lucky-ass with that barbed wire; how dafuq did he fall unwrapped though? surprised his first crush survived that shit some interesting trauma to live with and still hold onto why dauq was it dumping waste on their house though? just being territorial? dude tried to tame a wild animal so it started attacking mofos? or it was always doing it? did drop a quarter and a key though so they all got killed because of the cameras and eyes? just realized mofo was feeding it horses; Lucky's the only one we saw; ten were already sold very interesting transformation did Wrangler leave too? i guess there was significance in him coming back for her; very odd that so many mofos turned up outta the blue like that though; thought everybody it ate came back and maybe she was dreaming or some shit shit, he kept the memorabilia because he saw it as his friend (fistbump); years later he encounters another predator and... I'm planning to finally write the long awaited update to my first medium article on Sly, so I went back and read my past articles and holy shit did I dump trauma into them. God. The one where I talk about needing to replace Ope because he won't survive much longer if I keep chewing on him pretty much documented how my life fell apart when Cazza left remission for the last time. Seeing photos of her on it made me fucking break. I tried reading the one about stuffed dogs that resemble Spot and I had her REVIEW EACH ONE. She was like my little coauthor. God.

No wonder it's gotten so much harder to write those. I'm missing my best friend who gave irreplaceable input.

I want to write the Sly II of Sly II though because I want to share the collective information I've found about Sly since then. It's criminal that unless you get your hands on a tag of Charlene's forever toys to read it yourself their stories are all lost to time.

If I had the energy I'd make my own fansite. Provide more lore info than egnome provides for them. But sadly I'm too exhausted. Just Sly for me. Also you literally have to buy one complete with tags to see the whole tag story and obviously I'm going to limit the amount of 300 dollar stuffed animals I buy thank you very much. My first, Sly II I got for way less than he's worth and my upcoming Christmas present I'm drastically reducing my calorie intake to afford. (Don't worry, they are raising my disability income for the new year and I'm not destitute yet lol)

I just. Man. I keep thinking what it must have been like when Charleen was around and actively making these guys. Meeting up at toy expos and such. All in the US, yeah, but still. Would have loved to meet her. Asked all about Sly. Back when her toys were still in production getting promotional materials would have been easier too. Apparently she had a little fan magazine she shipped out every so often where people could send in letters? That's the sort of stuff you don't get with mass produced toys but is also too much work for modern independent creators who are treading water in today's economy. The egnome mailing list doesn't even work anymore. I wonder when it stopped running.

I'm still not giving up on trying to recreate my own backup Sly, but I'm just so tired all the time. I wish I had a workshop and wasn't just doing everything in life straight outta my bedroom. If you saw my bedside table situation and the mess it is you'd all hurl. The discount section of a fabricland was shit out all over every even remotely flat available surface.

As futile as it seems and as tired as I am, I am also pleased to report that some level of progress is being made though. I'm designing ideas to make my own take on the character distinct enough from the original. I'm also on that subject thinking about finally learning how to quilt. For real this time. Using my roommate's sewing machine is a pain in the ass so most of what I'm doing is by hand so not as nice looking but I have more control and am less likely to murder my hand.

I keep wishing we could go to the other thrift store so I can go on a quest for a ton of vintage buttons. I'm looking for upholstery buttons specifically. God that's another thing. I love buttons. You know that? I should make a quilt that also serves as a button collection. And I still want to one day make a quilt from many of Cazza's old things but currently I can't bear to alter them in any way so I've put them in a tote in my closet so I don't stare at them and cry.

Good news in that I cleaned my room a bit and that Scott is almost finished with his ear medicine. He's become such a good boy about letting me out the drops in his ears. Really adaptable he is.

I keep thinking about how I wish I could go back to drawing tons of Heart of Darkness fan art again. But I remind myself that my very own Whisky died in my arms and yeah. It's no wonder I don't have the heart to do what I'm passionate about anymore.

Maybe I make a Sly entirely out of the dollar store paw print blankets of which Cazza died with. I'd get brand new ones, enough to make the Sly, don't know how many that would take but they're a nice texture. I have old fleece I got at a discount that reminds me of the Cazza collar maybe I could make a Cazza Sly and give him a Cazza collar.

Another thing is there's just been no info on the crying dog. None at all. I didn't stop caring about him. Just that nothing new has happened. Very sad.

Hopefully playing pikmin 3 and then 4 will be a nice reprieve. I can hope.

i mean, on hand, it doesn't matter anything the creator of neurodivergent did. if you disagree with the idea that anyone with a brain structure or functioning that is either 1. verifiably different from what's considered the norm through objective evidence (such as neurodegenerative disease) or 2. culturally or socially understood as different even if only via interview-type testing (e.g. most mental illnesses) then i think you're a loser. there's really no good reason not to see it that way. sorry. i'm not even commenting on the neurodiversity thing bc it just kinda sounds like you're on a high horse.

Lol, that was season 5, but…

Holy shit so much information has poured all over us for the last two months, it’s hard to keep everything straight in your head. I broke my shoulder during Scandoval, I had endless time in bed, in pain, so I did a rewatch (I’m currently mid-season 7, and I’m not committed to seasons 8 or 9). Every episode. Every blowup, every fight, every meltdown, all the drunkenness and drug abuse, all the infidelity and accusations and denials and tears. And I have thoughts. For posterity, darlings.

I’ve learned (and seen with my own eyes—Florida Girl) that BOTH Tom AND Ariana had some kind of pact, and I think they both took it seriously until Tom abandoned it for Rachel, that they would keep their private struggles, whatever they might be, OFF the show and hidden from their castmates and “friends.” I believe with all my heart that nobody on the show or in production really ever questioned it. No one ever leveled an accusation at their relationship. Tom and Ariana were like the closest thing to an audience pov on the show. The DRAAAAMA was Jax, Jax, Jax, Jax, Stassi, Stassi, Stassi, Stassi, fistfights and party crashing and cheating and a breakup…! We were barely shown Tom and Ariana’s conflict over having children, which seemed significant when Tom said it was a dealbreaker, then immediately retracted it when confronted by Ariana. That, plus their difficulties with intimacy and Ariana’s body image issues, was all we knew. They had each other’s back to an insane degree for YEARS, because of this pact, and now the floodgates are open, And we know that when Lala tells Ariana about what really happened at that party the day Ariana’s grandmother dies, Ariana had a meltdown and refused to film with Lala, who had to sit at a table and wait while production talked Ariana down and got consent to film. That’s why she abruptly turns and yells for Tom to come join the Lala info dump, saying I’m not gonna do this, so…let’s get him. And he was absolutely stone cold caught in a lie right then and there.

How could Ariana so easily dismiss the certain knowledge, via Lala, who was there at the party with Sandoval (and Raquel), that TOM LIED TO HER ABOUT NOT FINDING AN UBER SO HE COULD STAY WITH RAQUEL. So, like, I feel like that should’ve been the red flag to end all red flags.

And she definitely had her doubts, no matter how hard she rode for him publicly, because her INTUITION told her to see what she could see when she had the perfect opportunity to look at his phone. The photos app I guess, which is the iOS camera roll. What a shock it must have been. It’s like you’re flying off the edge of the earth, right up into outer space, no tether to humanity because everything is a lie. UGH I RELATE and probably am projecting my shit onto Ariana, which I’m not trying to do fr fr.

There is no way in hell I would ever believe that Sandoval wouldn’t run to his work wife, in whom he has confided everything, and confess every detail, with a TON of drama because it’s Sandoval, to expunge his guilty conscience alllllll over Schwartz. Please. He knew everything from the jump, but of course he took no action beyond urging Sandoval to confess. For seven months. He knew. These people are such great liars.

Every line out of Ariana’s mouth, in her confrontation conversation with Tom, was poetry. Eloquent, blunt, sincere, honest, brutal, true. That woman! I admire her dignified reaction in this episode while also side-eyeing her own complicity in not wanting any breaches of the wall of positivity that she helped create. But everyone on this show has their good and their bad, and we’ve seen it all. Ariana’s very first episode! Disaster. She was playing a tough girl character, not herself.

Brittany is the exception to that and has never done anything wrong or shady or hurtful or mean girl-ish.
