Ruthlessness is Mercy Upon Ourselves…
This was inspired by @witchysolfan and their SaMS Epic AU (Greek mythology). *edited to their UN on tumblr
If you aren’t familiar, sketch and more below after their video.
I love angry protective Dadcode. This is a Greek Mythology AU where Bloodmoon is left a wreckage after a battle, but “mercifully” left alive to suffer and Kill Code (separating from Moon magically) is none too happy about this.
If you haven’t listened to Epic the Musical I Highly recommend it! Greek mythology never sounded so good. The animatics all over YouTube are also delightful.
I was so worried about rendering it, but I’m extremely happy with the result. Now the song will continue to be stuck in my head. 😹💕

why am I suddenly obsessed, I don't know! but Mariner needs to eventually notice that T'Lyn is, by Vulcan standards, a bad girl (this is literally why she was thrown off the Sh'vhal!) and therefore exactly Mariner's type

Short Prompt Idea! (Pre-lucemond)
Lucerys is a ruthless little shit.
When Vaemond called them bastards and his mother a whore, he stopped his uncle, who's hand reached for Dark Sister, and smiled at his uncle Vaemond, who was grinning victoriously. Lucerys smiled quietly, before jumping at him and stabbing Vaemond in the eye, gouging it out.
Vaemond screamed, falling to the floor, everyone in the court room screamed, though none attempted to help him. Lucerys quickly left Vaemond's side, before heading straight to the green's side. Alicent pulled both Aegon II and Helaena behind her as Aemond raised his hand to protect them, his other hand on the pummel of his sword. Lucerys smiled, dropped the knife and walked forward, ignoring the chaos behind him as they called for Maesters.
Lucerys suddenly grabbed Aemond's hand and placed something wet, round and slimy on it. Aemond looked as Vaemond's eye stared back at him.
"I believe I owe you an eye, uncle. With this, my debt is paid." He smiled, patting his uncle's cheek in mock care, smearing Vaemond's blood on his face in the process, before turning around and heading towards his family, who looked absolutely shocked, except for Daemon, who laughed hard.
When Otto tried to call the guards to arrest Lucerys, he just glared at him.
"I merely gave what was owed. I owed my uncle an eye. Since granduncle Vaemond showed that he doesn't use his own very often, I opted to take one of his. It's not like he'd miss it, blind as he is to our shared Velaryon blood. In fact, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I took the remaining one, right granduncle?"
He flinched, staring at the boy who he thought would be an easy one to intimidate, the pain from his loss numb to the pain of his embarrassment. He lost an eye to a brat. The Maester that was sent to help him hesitated, not knowing if he should start sewing or if he should wait for the other eye to be taken first.
"At least you'd have a reason to be blind about your own blood, granduncle." Lucerys continued, about to walk towards Vaemond, only being stopped by Daemon, who still has the look of amusement.

So you want to read ✨Zodiac Academy✨ but when you look up the series, you have no idea where to start. The prequel novella? The prequel *series*? Book 1? There are multiple ways (and no true right way!) to approach this, but there is a way that I think is best suited for binge-reading *and* makes the most narrative sense!
So without further ado: my updated Zodiac Academy recommended reading order.🤓
✨Seth on the Moon and Night are both available ~for free~ in the authors’ Facebook group (Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti’s Reading Tribe)

Nico tortures and plays with his enemies first. He revels in their screams of pain and agony. He then passes them to Jason to finish the job. Jason doesn't use his powers or his sword, no, he kills them with his bare hands, sometimes rips out their throat with his teeth too.
They kiss after, their faces and clothes drenched in red and gold, carnage behind them. Many are horrified but to them, it's fun. (And a way to warn the gods to not fuck with them anymore)

oh man yall
just read the heck out of a new-to-me-still-in-progress GEM-- the author has smushed together the characters of the Avengers, plot elements of Captain America: Civil War, and the plot of The Boys. And they did it. So. Fuckin. Well.
