Depending on how much the HONEYFANG zine makes (and my current finances) I will be donating a TBD portion of the profit to Palestinian relief efforts both as a one-time and a continuing donation (when possible) until Palestine is free. There are many talented artists, writers, and designers making beautiful things because of this show. It’s kept people alive, helped people become their authentic selves, and helped others heal.

I’m in the latter camp. I wanted a piece to celebrate Indigenousness and to represent my favorite character, Ed. I can identify with him on a level that I haven’t felt in a long time; I was already on a path to healing this year, but he helped nudge me to continue. They tried to eradicate us, but here we are. Here we experience our sad moments, our happy moments, our difficult times, our joyous moments. When we smile, its a beautiful rebellion to those who tried to rid us. Our existence is a miracle of resilience. Our ancestors fought for us to be here today, and here we are. If you'd like to support my art on such an important day to Indigenous people here today, I would highly appreciate it. Either way, I'm just happy to be here. Our very being is a testimonial to our ancestors love for us now.

I’m in a precarious position at my day job as I ended up reporting some harassment, racism, transphobia and just general bigotry from both my management and employees, and I was put at another location that is twice as far away. Unfortunately, this is putting a huge strain on me mentally, emotionally and especially financially. It’s the main reason why I’ve been kind of MIA lately. The investigation is likely to go on for over another month, and I’m spending about a whole shift’s work on gas a week now. I would really appreciate anything anyone buys because even $1 will get you something on both ❣️

I would also love to connect with other authors/artists about how they handle their day jobs (especially large corporations) who’s discrimination against them impacts their work and how they help work through it because I’m feeling very dejected atm.
