🌹 My fan art of Grell Sutcliff (from Black Butler) feeling "split in half" and trying to "stitch" herself together. I drawn this in response of the ones who say "you want to be trans", "it's all about stupid social constructs", "it's all an invention" etc. And Grell's character is rather a good representation of what a trans person feels.

Grell Sutcliff in her own words : "My biggest regret is that I wasn't born a woman. I think God made a mistake." Although, the way her brain functions makes her a woman, Grell wouldn't have that knowledge back in the Victorian era. However, as a trans guy myself, I understand that what Grell wanted to say is that she would never be able to live as herself, because she is trans.

Transgenderism is something very real and has nothing to do with stupid stereotypes or inventions. This is not an act. This is not something we want or choose. It would be way better for me if I was born a cis guy. Better in many ways. But reality doesn't care. Gender incongruence is something you are born with, we don't just start or stop being trans.

I made a post a few days ago to help me get cleaning supplies which I so desperately need as it’s allergy season, pollen and dust collecting !

As well affording medication for my arthritis as my body is flaring up from all the stress with my landlord.

I paid a portion of my rent on the first but I’m still behind ( just got done fighting an eviction case and it was dismissed 2 weeks ago and I don’t want to be served a 14 days summons again as I can’t keep up with rent & my needs + linking GFM in the comments so folks can directly donate there )

- UK Black Pride’s Community Action Fund supports organisations that advocate for LGBTQI+ Black individuals and POC in the UK. Community groups, organisations, charities with less than a £1m annual turnover, religious groups, and individuals with a UK address for their bank account are eligible to apply. - The Disruptors Fellowship supports emerging television writers of color who identify as transgender, non-binary, disabled, or undocumented/formerly undocumented.
