Sorry I asked

(So as per the poll, Zip wins, meaning we'll get a little piece from his past first. Also quick clarification for anyone who may not know or remember: Zip's given name is Amos and since this happens before he joins the Zeds, he will be referred to as Amos).

It was a cold February evening. The air was biting and chilly. Low hanging clouds released a mix of cold rain and big snowflakes that disappeared on the wet ground. A young man walked through the cold streets, pulling his jacket tighter around himself. It was his birthday. For most people, this would probably be special, but for Amos Willis, it was anything but. It was always miserable and dreary, he couldn't remember a single year when it had been sunny on his birthday. And that was the least of his problems. He tried to tell himself he didn't care about his birthday and not to think about it, but the harder he tried, the more the thoughts overtook his mind.

It was dark when he got back to his apartment. The drafty old building offered little protection from the late winter chill. "I'm home!" he called out as he opened the door.

"Don't yell, Amos, I have a headache." Came his mother's voice from inside.

"Sorry..." He stepped inside, slipping his shoes and coat off. In the living room, his mother was lying on the couch. She rubbed her temples, trying to ease her headache. She still wore the rumpled uniform of the drugstore she worked at. Amos stiffly sat beside her as she looked at him with poorly masked irritation.

"What is it?" his mother asked.

"Well, I've just been thinking..." Amos began. "It's my birthday today...and now that I'm seventeen and I'm older, I thought...well, I was wondering about...about dad, y'know?" He tried every year to ask this question, but each time his mother said she would tell him when he was older.

His mother sighed. "I guess I can't keep it from you anymore can I?" she asked. "Fine. If it'll get you to stop asking."

"You know, I used to be gorgeous." she began.

"I won't ever ask again." Amos promised. His mother gave him a doubtful look.

"I still think you're pretty." her son tried to reassure her. His mother shot him a look that told him to be quiet.

"I had a perfect slim figure, perfect skin, and perfect golden hair. I knew I was gonna be an actress. And of course, wherever I went, I turned heads. Including your father. Sure, he wasn't much to look at, but he was a charmer."

"What was his name?" Amos asked. His mother looked irritated at his interruption, brow furrowing.

"Michael. Michael Willis." she answered curtly. "Like I was saying, he was a charmer. He made all sorts of promises and claims. Told me I was the most beautiful girl he'd ever met. But there's one thing I'll never forget. He said, 'Goldie, I'll make sure you become a star'. And I was stupid enough to believe him." she sighed, before narrowing her eyes in anger. "Next thing I know, he knocks me up and then leaves. Didn't hear from him for months. Then next time I see him, he's got some other girl clinging to his arm." His voice shook. "Never saw that bastard again. And here I am, stuck with the miserable mistake he left behind! I had to forget about acting and care for a son I didn't even want!" she shouted.

There was silence between the two. His mother had tears welling up in her eyes when she finally looked back at him. "Just...go." she said. "Get out of here for a few hours, leave me alone."

"Where should I-"

"I don't know. Just leave me alone." she said, voice wavering.

Amos stood up quickly, walking to the door. He slipped his shoes back on and grabbed his coat. He heard his mother let out an angry choked sob as he stepped out the door. He let out a sigh, his breath visible in the cold air. As he stepped out into the city streets again, he found himself thinking, one thought repeating itself. "Michael Willis." His father's name. He wondered what his father was like. He wondered if he even knew Amos existed. "What if there's a way to find him?" The idea stuck in his head like gum on his shoe. But the question remained of where to start.

Amphibiuary 2024 Day 4: Sing

A simple Zed for today, had to be done. They're wearing an outfit I wore recently because I got stuck on what to have them wear, it's not their usual style I will admit lmao

(Posting the last couple of days was delayed mostly by the fact that I was busy when there was enough daylight for taking photos, which is fleeting enough as it is this time of year fnfnnf)

Stranger Things Verse

When he was six, Zed Nakos went missing one day. His parents didn't know where their son had gone. They searched for their son and got the local police involved, but they could never find him. The Nakos Family didn't lose hope in finding their lost son. Four years later, Zed is found in tb3 middle of the woods where he went missing. But, there is something different about him. His hair was green instead of its natural brown color, his skin deathly pale, and red lines appeared around his eyes. Not caring about the sudden change in his appearance, his parents welcomed him back into their arms. Something felt off inside of him. Like he had died and came back. He also felt angrier all of the time and he had strange cravings for…flesh and organs. Especially brains. With dye and makeup, they changed his appearance back to normal. Eating raw animal meat along with brains and organs kept him satiated. This restores his skin color back to its original pigment. As long as he is fed, he can function normally. It could still enjoy normal food as long as he kept to his true diet. Food didn't taste as good but there was no way he was ever going to give up ice cream. Young Zed was forever changed. He had been in the Upside Down and something happened there. He doesn't remember most of it. All he remembers is that he spent most of his time there afraid and wanting to get home. Settling back into his life in Hawkins wasn't easy, but he was a strong kid. Through therapy and support, he adjusted back to normal. He reunited with his friends Eliza, Wynter, and Bonzo. He eventually joined the football team and became its star player, captain, and fullback. His grades are above average. His mother has left, but his father has been raising his children the best he can. He even developed a crush on a cheerleader named Addison. His college prospects are looking good and he aims on continuing a career in football. He hasn't decided what he wants to do with his life yet. But, as more strange things happen in town, Zed's condition worsens and becomes more amplified. His anger becomes harder to control, he discovers he is much stronger than he should be, and then his cravings for meat ( which he has been handling through eating raw meat provided by his family ) turn to cravings for human flesh. He hears a voice in his head sometimes. A voice calling him back to the Upside Down. He is a spy for a being called Vecna, an experiment by the being sent back to watch over things. Zed has seen zombie movies before. He knows what he has been turned into. A zombie. And it is only a matter of time before he loses control and gives in to his primal instincts. He works hard to make sure that never happens. There has to be a cure somehow. There is no way he is letting this being have him as another puppet in his game. He will not be lost to his cravings.

Holy shit, I love that movie actually. Troll Will Smith is fucking amazing in everything he does and I'll never hear otherwise.

As for your actual problem though, that sucks ass. You should try to talk this out with your matesprit, explain to her that everything comes from your genuine feelings for her and that you just like using moves from your own favorite things which you consider to be incredibly romantic on her. That's a very flattering thing to do! However maybe use your own words for it, just to really prove that it's from your pusher and no one else's.

Besides, things work out for the main character in the end of that movie. He gets to be with his flushcrush, and even the bronzeblood and the seadweller get together! (Spoilers if you haven't watched it I fucking guess, but like, that movie is so old that really it's on you if you haven't seen it).

Things will likely work out if you just explain your reasoning... perhaps to her kismesis as well, since he seems to be a big part of it. You should probably stop giving her advice for her other quadrants, though, because clearly other trolls aren't very appreciative of it.

Fair I also unironically forget about my own ocs lol anyways mad scienze characters time because I can't stop thinking about them or I'll explode. I'm excluding their experiments from hobbies on purpose.

Vicky is very meticulous and has an incredibly steady hand. She needs both for her experiments, stitching together corpse parts takes a very careful hand. Lots of tiny nerves that need connecting if you want anything to work right. She likes to read! She's always been fascinated with medical journals and reads them for fun, but before she became completely obsessed on reanimating the dead she also read a lot of horror

Mike is honestly a better programmer than he is st physically building robotics. And that's saying something because he is incredibly skilled with robotics. He builds everything from scratch! Including the programing to translate nerve impulses into something the prosthetics can act on. His hobby WAS building and competing battle bots, but uh, he got banned from competitions. For extreme property damage and casualties.

Zed is a tough one. They would probably say they're the best at everything they do. I think they're probably the best at reading people. They know what makes people tick, it's almost uncanny. As for hobbies, I think they enjoy birdwatching. Also probably video games

Chilopoda is the best at insects. Caring for them, learning about them, studying them- ze is just really obsessive about insects and has been zir whole life. Zir hobby is carpentry.

Entitled fans of shit like that are annoying as hell, though. Even if I can appreciate Steddie when the time is right, let's be entirely honest wth ourselves that Joseph Quinn is the main reason Eddie managed to be as successful as he was cause as soon as that man showed up, he was THE. most blatant of the "Well, THEY'RE gonna die" ST characters, so it was difficult to be wholly invested. But I can see why you're torn on Steve's survival with this context. I feel similarly about h o w forced S4 tried to throw him & Nancy back together when it's like...they are in totally different places in their lives rn & if other characters have to tell us they're into each other a thousand times instead of...showing the chemistry, it don't hold up under scrutiny. ❌️

He would fully be into the fantasy if he was already that distracted & looking for relief & then get self-conscious the next time he went to class cause he couldn't help but think about it. For real!! I knew he was gonna die from the first episode. Like, was it that surprising? It’s the 4/5 season and the cast is already pretty full, he’s definitely not making it to season five😂 Joseph has charm but the way he played him was just a big red flag about Eddie’s short term stay…

Wally definitely isnt creepy, just a confused lil guy (big guy tho because Milo is 6’3 🫣… did someone call for some size difference? a giant?) stuck in a time where he had to be stereotypical. I mean, his whole character in season 1 is about how he was expected to do all these things when he didn’t actually one to do them to begin with. Or, he wanted to try them, found out it didn’t make him happy, and couldn’t move on to try something else. I forget how he phrased it in the show.

I WAS PICTURING THAT😭 I used Jacob Elordi’s height when he’s carrying a backpack/textbook in euphoria as a reference in my head because he’s like 2 inches taller than Milo, and… yeah it looks silly😭 But it’s a good type of silly, because he has the charm to play it off in a comedic way before he gets down to the serious business.

We fr think we’re hearing things, maybe high school is making you delusional lmao. The lack of sleep, stress, something except that it’s a real thing happening in front of you. But it’s totally real. And it’s even funnier if you guys made eye contact but he doesn’t think you actually are looking at him because no one’s seen him before, so you think he doesn’t care and it one brave mfer for doing it💀 (<- him)
