should i write a little fic about obsessive/stalker!ani (modern) killing readers dad because he hit on Padmé, reader walking in and actually thanking him because her dad is horrible and abusive, and Anakin becoming far more fixated on her than he ever was to padmé? like he felt controlling over padmé and read that as love, but he actually falls in love with reader? ik i ask a lot of these and never actually post the fics but i actually like this one lol

As a Sith Palpatine botched apprentice after apprentice, so I think as a Jedi he’d invest more time into being a good master. Despite being an elder he’s only raised one padawan (maul).

He’s still not perfect and is still guilty of murdering at least one unarmed person, it’s was the abusive Cosinga Palpatine so everyone who knows just kinda looked the other way. It motivates him to be a good father to Maul.

A Codywan and How to Train Your Dragon crossover that turned into a the Mandalorians factions are dragons AU, because I can never just do something simple and for the heck of it.

If you’re not interested the AU lore, leave now or suffer my rambling lol.

Basically, the idea is that Mandalorians started as a race that could shift into dragons. The Mand’alor line and those of most influence were notably ‘Fury’s (for example Mand’alor Tarre Viszla was a Nightfury and so is his generational line). But over time most Mandolorians who could shift were killed off or just lost the ability as more non-shifter Mandolorians married in. Eventually only a few of the Fury’s were around, and when Mandalore split most chose factions lead by the remaining Fury lines. AKA: the New Mandalorians/Lightfury’s, the Haat Mando'ade or True Mandalorians/Duskfury’s, and the Kyr’tsad or Death Watch/Nightfury’s.

Basically this also helps explain (in my head) why Mandalorians would follow Death Watch (terrorists) or the New Mandalorians (Intense Pacifist). It’s because they see those lines that can still shift as chosen leaders or a physical embodiment of the Ka’ra’s will.

How is Obi-Wan a shifter though? Well in this AU he’s the son of Tor Viszla. Long story short, early on when Obi-Wan was born he displayed being force sensitive, and Obi-WAN’s mom (Tor’s wife??? Idk it’s not important to the story) basically went ‘Aw hell naw’ and tried to drown Obi-Wan. Only to be stopped by a traveling Jedi who stole Obi-Wan and saved him. Totally unaware that this baby was Mandalorian, the son one of the biggest Mandalorian factions, AND also one of the last few existing Mandalorian dragon shifters. (Also Obi-Wan’s mom doesn’t want to admit that she lost Obi-Wan to a Jedi and just tells Tor that he was force sensitive and she succeeded in drowning him).

Maybe I’ll get into it later but basically Obi-Wan grows up as normal in the Temple, but obviously at some point he shifts and has the biggest panic of his life. But with help from friends (Quinlan, Garen, Siri, and Bant) he figures out shifting (enough to control it) and helps keep it a secret (Mandalorians and Jedi still don’t have best relations and Obi-Wan is paranoid about being kicked out of the Order anyways *cough cough Brandomeer cough cough Melinda/Daan*). To be clear, Obi-Wan isn’t like ashamed of what he is. He just doesn’t want the judgments of coming from CLEAR Mandalorian roots, and Death Watch at that. Plus he kinda just decides to not think about how he’s pretty much definitely related to well known terrorist Tar and Pre Viszla, because then he doesn’t have to address it. Besides he’s happy as a Jedi.

Anyways, NOW CODY-

So without getting to detailed (mission failed lol) all the clones ARE shifters (Duskfury’s just like Jango Fett), but they have it suppressed by the Kaminoans (probably part of their chips? I haven’t thought it fully out yet). BUT THINGS HAPPEN, probably Cody and Obi-Wan get stranded alone somewhere for a long time and Cody gets his chipped fucked up somehow, and now he’s shifting into a dragon???? And scaring the shit out of both him and Obi-Wan. But Obi-Wan exposes himself as a dragon shifter as well to comfort Cody and show that he will keep his secret. Plus he clearly understands him. (At this point they both are under the impression the clones aren’t shifters, and think Cody is just an outlier and “late bloomer” so to speak). Cue them learning how to be dragons together and be comfortable in their other form.

And eventually they get rescued and find out somehow all the clones are shifters, and therefore find the chips and discover Palpatine’s plan, SO THE GALAXY IS SAVED!

(Additionally the clones get rights and go to form their own society/group (Obi-Wan comes with to be with other dragons, but mostly to be with Cody), and they form an alliance with the New Mandalorians and accidentally unit Mandalore purely by the three Fury types (Nightfury/Obi-Wan, Duskfury/Cody, Lightfury/Satine) being around each other lol.

“Y/N!”

She hears her mother call, groaning as she trips over her feet while slipping on some pj shorts.

“Comingggg!” She yells back, grabbing her phone and earbuds before tumbling down the stairs messily.

She grabs her bag she packed the night before-probably the only part of the trip she had panned ahead-as her earbuds and phone hang off of her arms uncomfortably.

her mom clears her throat with a glare, motioning to a woman sitting nearby with a gentle smile. Y/n assumes this was the friend her mother had told her about, so she try’s not to spill everything out of her arms as she clumsily introduces herself.

“Hello i’m-“ The woman cuts her off calmly. “i know who you are, dear. your mother has told me many great things about you.” The woman nods her head. Y/n, feeling silly in the kind woman’s presence, smiled back. “Right, sorry.” Y/n stuttered out.

“You’re Shmi, correct?” She asked, trying to rekindle the conversation. “Yes, mother of Anakin.” She introduced. Anakin? She didn’t hear anything about an Anakin. She dosen’t have to energy or confidence to mention it as she just politely greets Shmi, exchanging more kind words before she stumbles out the door.

Y/n gets to the car, blasting her music as she pops open the trunk while moving her hips to the music. She throws her things in, grabbing a energy drink and blanket out of her bag for the trip.

She walks over to the back door, swinging it open only to be met with a blue haired boy. They both looked a bit surprised to see each other, y/n more than the mystery man.

“Who are you??”

They both ask in sync, their tone of voice annoyed and confused. “Wait.. are you Y/n?” The boy asked, looking her up and down.

“Yeah? What about it?” She asked catiously, trying to sound intimidating. The boy just laughs, slipping on his headphones before shutting the door in her face. Rude much?!

She then realized that the boy was most likely Anakin, annoyed she’d have to sit in the car with him for seven hours on top of sharing a room with him for two weeks. Oh god, she won’t make it.

Jedi Palpatine au. He still doesn’t have an innate ability to feel empathy and mostly just replicates behaviors from other Jedi. Sometimes he can sense he’s hurt someone’s feelings without knowing what he did, and desperately tries to regain their favor without understanding the problem.

Btw his emotional influence on flora and fauna carries over from legends but is more in line with Ezra’s powers

Some doodles of Cody and Rex from my Dragon shifter AU (AKA: my How To Train Your Dragon/ Clone Wars crossover)

Wanted to practice drawing the Duskfury/Cody’s dragon form. Plus conceptualize Rex’s dragon form.

Also since Cody was the first clone to gain his dragon from from his damaged chip, the first person he told/showed (other than Obi-Wan) was Rex. Except Rex was totally a dramatic little brother about it.

Sometimes, I write placeholder titles for these updates. This one was called “Everyone Hates Mara.”

In her defense, everyone makes mistakes, from someone not explaining to her brother that their mutual father is a Sith Lord to summoning Grandpa Palpatine to their location.

I deleted a line from the script where Galen still tries to enforce Vader’s will by telling Leia not to swear. It would have made it funnier if he had sworn at the end, but I ultimately didn’t like the bossiness of the line, so I cut it.
