No fue un día particularmente interesante. El silencio se extendía por toda la habitación, a excepción del barullo de la gente de la calle y el zumbido de la radio en la esquina de tu tienda. La inactividad en el negocio era lo usual, por lo que el trabajo se había convertido en una tarea aburrida más que en un trabajo real.

Dirigir una tienda de chatarra en Ferrix fue probablemente la peor idea de todas, especialmente teniendo competencia con todas las demás de la ciudad. Era una sorpresa para ti que pudieras mantenerla aún a flote.

Eso fue hasta que viste a tu cliente habitual entrar—Cassian Andor— tu favorito. Entró por debajo de la puerta y te vio, sus frías facciones se calentaron cuando llamaste su atención. Miraste la hora desde detrás del mostrador.

-Llegas tarde. Pensé que nunca aparecerías.- Te burlaste de él. Cassian tenía un horario cuando se trataba de visitar tu palacio de piezas de robot. Sin falta,él llegaría a la hora exacta, excepto hoy. A veces no estabas segurx si estaba de visita por negocios o por la compañía que le dabas. En comparación con la otra miríada de tiendas de chatarra en cada esquina, te hacía pensar que te estaba estafando con todas las veces que se pasaba por la tuya.

-Lo sé, lo siento. Tuve algunos problemas con el transporte, lamento que me hayas extrañado.- Te sonrió y luego colocó un componente de la nave en el mostrador de enfrente tuya. Levantaste una ceja.

-¿Un estabilizador? Tengo como diez de éstos,- te burlaste antes de manipular el componente y girarlo. Fue entonces cuando viste un pequeño sigilo grabado en un costado, -mierda, ¿es imperial?- boquiabiertx ante la pieza de metal. Él se cruzó de brazos y se echó hacia atrás con orgullo, asintiendo. -¿Cómo diablos lo has conseguido?- Le preguntaste y comenzaste a darle vueltas en tus manos, logrando una buena inspección de la parte de la nave espacial.

-Una antigua nave que se estrelló a unas pocas horas de la ciudad.- Explicó, y pusiste de nuevo el estabilizador en el mostrador.

-¿Cuánto quieres por él?- Tus puños reposaban contra la mesa, balanceando tu peso sobre ellos. Cassian contempló por un segundo antes de hablar.

-Cinco mil créditos.- Sus palabras estaban llenas de presunción. Te burlaste de la sugerencia y deslizaste el trozo hacia él.

-De ninguna manera.- Respondiste, te levantaste y rodeaste el mostrador, pasando cerca de Cassian, que ahora te miraba, estupefacto.

-¿Qué, por qué no? ¡Esta es tecnología imperial premium, probablemente valga más que eso!- Exclamó, pero no te giraste para mirarlo. Recogiste un trapo que había en la mesa de al lado y comenzaste a frotar la suciedad de un pequeño disipador de calor.

-Eso,- señalaste el estabilizador que se encontraba frente a él, -mi querido Cassian, es basura del imperio. Si descubren que lo robaste, entonces te habrás ganado un desintegrador en la cabeza.- seguiste frotando.

-Bien entonces. Cuatro mil por la parte ilícita.- No pudiste evitar sonreír ante su falta de voluntad para rendirse. Paraste de limpiar y dejaste los artículos antes de girar y sentarte en el borde de la mesa con los brazos cruzados.

Ahora que podías verlo de nuevo, lo miraste prolongadamente a la cara. Su rostro cubierto de aceite y suciedad y su cabello despeinado con una creciente barba unía toda la apariencia de 'carroñero rudo'. Cada vez que te miraba, sus rasgos se suavizaban y todo lo que querías hacer era sostener su rostro entre tus manos y mirarlo a los ojos. Los mismos ojos que notaron tu mirada, y hicieron que salieras de tu ensoñación. Se sintió halagado y, como resultado, expresó una sonrisa arrogante.

-Tres mil. Tiene casi una década de antigüedad, no es tan premium como crees.- Contestaste, y él chasqueó la lengua y comenzó a caminar lentamente hacia ti. Pegaste un bote mientras te enderezabas. Estaba muy cerca de ti, y podías sentir el calor de su cuerpo por la proximidad.

-Me revuelves los bolsillos, cariño.- Casi te derrites en el lugar. -Probablemente podría conseguir un mejor trato con Bix.- Estabas un poco ofendidx por sus palabras. Así que decidió jugar sucio, burlándose de tu falta de negocios como una táctica de amenaza para estafarte aún más.

-Pero Bix no sería tu chatarrera favorita, ¿verdad?- Eso borró la sonrisa de su rostro y te sentiste un poco consternadx al verle serio. Cometiste el terrible error de llamarle la atención sobre sus frecuentes y predecibles visitas. No tenías miedo de que te atacara—no, conocías bien a Cassian y sabías que no era de los que reaccionanaban violentamente contigo—así que eso es lo que más te asustó, el desconocimiento de una reacción. -Podrías conseguir eso gratis.- Era como si tu corazón hablara por ti, las palabras salían de tu lengua de forma autónoma. Fue todo lo que Cassian necesitó para chocar sus labios contra los tuyos. Cediste en tus fantasías de tus ensoñaciones y tus manos encontraron el camino hacia su barba y comenzaste a acariciarle la mandíbula. Ah, hello Tumblr roleplayers, it has been a while! I am one of many who was left adrift after Omegle shut down and am on the search for rp partners.

I am looking for rp partners in a variety of fandoms, genres, ships, etc. I’ll have all of them listed in a hopefully organized manner below and will do my best to keep this list accurate. If you’re interested, feel free to shoot me a DM or interact with this post and I’ll reach out to you. But please do read through this post fully before doing so, thanks!

-Experience: I’ve been roleplaying off and on in a variety of fandoms and styles for around 10+ years

What I’m Looking For In A Roleplay Partner:

-Age: Roleplayers who are at least 20+ as well

-Style: I’m open to a variety of styles, I roleplay everything from one sentence “text message” style to multi-paragraph advanced lit. Though my preferences tend to lean towards lit/advanced lit.

-Location: I’d prefer someone who’s comfortable transitioning to Discord, once we agree on what we want to rp

-Expectations: One of the things I loved about Omegle were the casual vibes when it came to when an rp needed to end. So, while I hope for some long term rps, I’m looking for people who will be okay with rps ending when interest dissipates. Without the need for big explanations as to why. This goes both ways! I won’t expect such explanations from you either if we start any sort of storyline and you end up wanting to drop out. The way I see it, this is meant to be a fun pass time and ideally shouldn’t feel like a stressful obligation for either of us.

Cómo crear un buen villano

Cómo escribir un buen villano

Hay dos tipos de buenos villanos, los que te hacen aplaudir cuando mueren, y los que te hacen llorar.

El tercer tipo es el que te deja indiferente, así que en esta entrada vamos a evitar crear villanos olvidables y a cambio os vamos a mostrar como hacer los dos primeros tipos.

Tipo 1: Los que son malos sin miramientos:

Puede que tengan motivaciones válidas, pero en general estas son débiles y no les crean ningún conflicto moral a la hora de cometer crímenes.

Estos villanos saben que lo que hacen está mal y aún así no se lo piensan dos veces, lo disfrutan.

Si se escriben bien pueden generar una sensación real de miedo y peligro, porque el lector sabe que no van a parar hasta que consigan lo que quieren.

Es difícil que el lector se identifique con ellos, pero siempre hay excepciones.

Ejemplos: Hannibal, Disney (Villanos de Mulan, Aladdin, La Bella Durmiente, etc.) Voldemort y Umbridge de Harry Potter, Ramsey de Juego de Tronos, Moriarty y todo tipo de asesinos en serie ficticios, etc.

Tipo 2: Los que te crean simpatía:

Al contrario que los primeros, estos villanos sí que sienten un mayor conflicto interno a la hora de cometer crímenes.

No lo disfrutan completamente y sus motivaciones son comprensibles.

Es muy fácil identificarse con estos villanos porque se ven como víctimas de las circunstancias.

No causan tanto miedo como el primer tipo, pueden ser muy complejos y si se escriben bien pueden tener una gran popularidad y cambiarse al bando de los protagonistas.

Ejemplos: Loki de Thor, Kylo Ren de Star Wars, Killmonger de Black Panther, Magneto de X-Men, Zuko de Avatar, etc.

Es muy importante tener claro qué tipo de villano se quiere escribir y qué tipo de villano necesita la historia.

Por lo general, si queremos que nuestro malo final sea tipo 1 (alguien MUY MALO) vamos a meter un mini villano del tipo 2 para que se oponga a los protagonistas pero tenga motivaciones comprensibles y no sea tan cruel.

De otra forma, si queremos que nuestro villano final sea complejo y del tipo 2, vamos a meter villanos del tipo 1 antes para no hacer sombra a la complejidad del villano final.

Siempre se recomienda poner los dos tipos de villano en una misma historia, para que haya más variedad y se vean diferentes comportamientos negativos ante los conflictos.

MOTIVACIONES

Dinero

Venganza

Fama

Poder

Su naturaleza se lo pide

Familia

Envidia

Para los villanos más superficiales, sus motivaciones serán materiales, únicamente de dinero, fama y poder. Para villanos más complejos siempre es mejor darles una motivación EMOCIONAL: Venganza por un ser querido, ayudar a un amigo o familiar utilizando malos métodos, matar a alguien por envidia, buscar la aprobación de cualquier forma, etc.

CARACTERÍSTICAS QUE LO DEFINEN

La personalidad de un villano no puede resumirse en ‘Es malo’ porque de ser así vamos a caer en la simplicidad y se va a crear un personaje sin carácter que podría ser sustituido por un meteorito o un tiburón. Hay que evitar eso a toda costa.

Primero, hay que elegir una característica negativa central que lo defina:

Un gran mentiroso

Muy fuerte

…Caníbal

Manipulador

Agresivo

Presumido

A estas características, vamos a añadirles algunas más (no necesariamente negativas) para hacerlo más complejo:

Elegante

Inteligente

Inseguro

Tímido

Con don de gente

Gracioso

Finalmente, vamos a añadirle algunos gustos, tics y opiniones:

Le gusta la música clásica

Le encantan los perros

Tiene fobia a los pájaros

Cree que la familia está por encima de todo.

No sabe pronunciar ciertas palabras.

Ahora, en vez de tener un villano simplemente malo, tenemos a un caníbal inteligente, elegante y que le gusta la música clásica; o podemos tener a un manipulador con don de gente que en verdad es muy inseguro y cuyo único amigo real es su perro.

Las combinaciones son infinitas y necesarias. Si buscas ideas, analiza tu villano favorito. ¿Cuáles son sus características negativas? ¿Tiene características positivas?

PRESENTACIÓN DEL VILLANO

Hay un dicho que dice que una historia es tan buena como su villano. Vamos, que lleva un gran peso encima. Si el inicio de un libro es importante, la presentación del villano debería tener la misma importancia.

En su primera escena, ya tiene que quedarnos claro qué tipo de villano va a ser, si de tipo 1 o de tipo 2.

Si queremos un villano de tipo 1, en su primera escena debe hacer un acto atroz, que muestre su naturaleza y deje claro qué tipo de problemas va a causar y lo difícil que será oponerse a él:

Si es un villano cuya característica principal es que es muy fuerte, que destruya un planeta entero.

Si es muy listo y elegante, presentale en un teatro antes de que mate al actor principal sin ensuciarse las manos.

Si es misterioso, no cuentes casi nada de él, enséñale haciendo algo extraño, intrigante, que deje al lector con ganas de saber más.

Si el villano es de tipo 2, se pueden hacer dos cosas:

Enseñarle haciendo algo malo como en el primer caso, pero en escenas posteriores dar un flashback o una justificación de sus motivos.

Mostrar lo injustas que son sus circunstancias en su vida diaria a pesar de lo mucho que se esfuerza.

En el primer caso, el lector pensará que el personaje es malo sin redención al inicio y a medida que progrese la historia cambiará de idea. “Ah, que lo hacía por eso.”

En el segundo caso, el lector ya sentirá pena desde un inicio y podrá acompañar emocionalmente al personaje a lo largo de la historia mientras se va adentrando en el camino del mal. “Normal que haya acabado así.”

Ambas opciones son buenas, aunque el vínculo del lector con el villano será más fuerte en el segundo caso, porque habrá ‘crecido’ con él.

Para acabar, propongo un ejercicio que os resultará de ayuda si estáis atascados en vuestra historia: Pensad en como sería vuestro protagonista si fuera un villano. ¿Qué motivaciones tendría? ¿Cuáles serían sus objetivos principales? ¿Cómo mantendríais la personalidad que tiene ahora, pero que iría deformándose a medida que toma decisiones terribles? ¿Podría redimirse, a quién le pediría ayuda, quién se la ofrecería a pesar de todo? ¿En que consistiría su arco de redención?

Recordad que muchos grandes villanos son la otra cara de la moneda del héroe, su versión malvada, así que imaginar una versión oscura del personaje os puede ayudar a crear a su némesis perfecto.
