As much as I love K and wish to romance them I don't it's possible for my mc, she would not be angry, sadden is the right term but happy K found someone to help them through everything, happy someone was there for them even if it meant K moving on from her. In fact if canonly possible I think my mc would already know K moved on, hence why she wouldn't reach out to touch them, after talking for few minutes. I think my mc is very good at reading people who she knows, in this case k being her ex-spouse it make sense for me for her to know K moved on. But I think there is also a part of guilt for still wanting to reach out to K, to still be together, to work things out, but she wouldn't want to intrude in K current relationship. Staying friends with K would be hard not because she doesn't want to but the fear that she isn't looking for just friendship but more, and that's not fair for K in her mind.

I think if K were to tell her this it would just confirm her fear of getting close to k and romancing them, things changed, K changed, but i feel like for people in these types of situations like my Mc it's hard to admit your life will never be the same, that you were robbed of your time together with your loved ones and sadly it's time to move, slowly but to heal.

That's completely understandable! However, I'd like to mention that K hasn't moved on from the MC. They're in the process of moving on from the MC. I made it that way because if K had truly moved on from the MC with Gabby, K wouldn't have been a romantic option to begin with. The situation as a whole is a complex one, and I'm super excited to explore it further. Both when it comes to the MCs interactions with K, their interactions with Gabby, and simply the interactions between K and Gabby. I'm also excited for the people who aren't romancing K to see how everything begins to work out with Gabby.
The quote, if it helps at all, is from a specific moment wherein there's an emotionally charged scene and the MC pushes K too far into a direction that they desperately don't wish to go into, and they sort of snap at you. It's not something that K would just randomly say out of the blue unless they felt strained/stressed emotionally. How the route is planned to go it's pretty black and white, at least when in regard to actively getting on it, when it comes to wishing to get back together with K or not. There won't be a bunch of will-they-won't-they (there will probably be some moments of it but it’s not going to be a main feature), because I don't think the situation needs the added angst of it, coupled with everything else that's going to happen, which is why I've mentioned in the past that you need to be 100% certain that you want to get back together with K because of certain choices that will have to be made.
At the end of the day, K completely understands if the MC doesn't wish to reach out to them, but they'd never wish for you to feel guilty if you were to do so. Gabby would honestly whack them upside the head if it's something they're too dense to notice is happening.
K just wants you to be happy, even if it's not with them, and if you're able to achieve that then everything has settled exactly the way it's supposed to.
I can't wait for you to witness how everything plays out in the end!

Girl!! Are you actively trying to get pregnant again?!? So much love.
I mean, I'm not not trying. There isn't a sense of urgency or a huge effort on my part. No fertility meds are involved yet. My period restored in November and has actually been regular so I'm going to see if I can conceive without meds. I know it's possible since it happened in 2021 with the pregnancy that I miscarried. Plus some of the fertility meds lead to a huge spike in suicidal ideation so if I don't have to take them that's a win. I'm also not tracking ovulation with OTC tests. But have I typed my cycle length into a tracker to get my expected peak fertility? Yes. Am I having extra intimate time during that period? Absolutely. So I guess we will see what happens. I know for certain I want another baby. I'm not sure I'm ready for another pregnancy, delivery and 12 months of nursing. My thoughts on that change daily so I'm just being carefree for now and leaving it to the universe to decide if the time is right so I don't have to make that decision.

For those who don't know, I've been on this Fred marathon since last November and my brother has actually watched a lot of his filmography with me. (200+ credits on IMDb BTW 🤯)
Recently, he pointed out that it's crazy that he can both pass for different ethnicities (that might be a future series 😉) and look so different within a year's time depending on the movie/show. But it's a seamless, natural transformation.
For example, in 1995, he looked like this...

Like it blew his mind. And after he said that, I started the series.
Now my brother and I have very deep conversations about stuff and let me tell you, Fred fascinates us.
I think it's because there's something so genuine about him that is sometimes rare to find in Hollywood. He just seems human...down to earth if you will, but a very talented human nonetheless.
Like he has been in some terrible movies over the years, but bless his heart does he give his 100% every time. I love to see it. You can tell he loves doing what he does and I love seeing him do it.
And he'll probably never see this, but if he did, I would say that you're awesome and such an inspiration. Thank you for all of the years of entertainment you gave us, even if we didn't always appreciate it. You are loved and respected dearly. ❤️

I keep rotating certain aspects of the Evontra'vir-Ashton conversation and there's one specific thing I see other people taking away from it that is lacking a certain amount of nuance that stuck with me.
Specifically in regards to Ashton's views and how they parallel his fathers.
It should be obvious to everyone at this point that Ashton's stubborn hypocritical "refusal to the call" rooted in his anti divine/fate beliefs need some genuine reflection. They are important and they are aware of it but they don't want any of the hard to grapple with things associated. He needs to think about what it is he can actually do moving forward rather than getting caught up in what he feels he's owed.
However! One very important thing that I keep seeing others ignore or maybe just not even pick up on is THIS.
Efterin's entitlement came from his own zealots ego. The powers he believed he was promised an understanding and control over were NEVER his.
Ashton's entitlement towards the situation is rooted in what was done TO him. Those powers are in fact his. They have been there since he was a child due to a ritual he had no say in. That ritual physically altered his body and killed off nearly everyone in his entire village.
Which. Again. Just because they HAVE those powers doesn't mean they were ever guaranteed mastery over them. Certainly not without putting in effort. It has never been a "gift", even if part of them wishes it was. There is likely never going to be a reality in which the full-blown titan level abilities just ACTIVATE for him with full ease. Moving forward. He has a base level of info. Which he likely didn't find satisfying (but given the situation, there was never really a "satisfying" answer). Now they need to just. Look forward and inward. Make some changes if they want some changes.
But yeah. At the end of the day. Regardless of parallels and a real need for character reflection and growth. Saying that Ashton is "the same" as Efterin seems. Fairly reductive, all things considered.

Hi!! I was wondering if its okay to ask what brushes u normally use in krita? I love your art!!
Thank you so much!!! I only use the ones available in Krita by default and I tend to jump around based on what I think will work best for each piece, but I can give a little rundown on which ones I use the most and what I use them for :)
Here's an image guide with each of the brushes I've used and that I recommend checking out:
I'll highlight my favorites as well with some examples where they were predominantly used! (though in some cases multiple or even all of these brushes were used)
Marker Details:
Varying opacity and size makes this one my favorites for sketching, especially since it can easily be nearly transparent or fully opaque which helps with value range.
I also like using it for silhouette sketches!
It can also be used for final linework, but it takes more work to get to a full opaque and its lack of texture makes it a little less interesting than Ink-7 Brush Rough imo.
Ink-7 Brush Rough:
Really good for linework, especially for comic styled drawings with it's slight texture, varying weight, and opaqueness.
Also good for just filling in entire areas with a single color as well as non-smoothed shading!
Wet Bristles Rough:
Actually just an amazing brush, its pressure sensitivity is crazy.
Blends strokes like paint and can vary in size and opacity.
Also has a nice subtle texture!
Amazing for smoother coloring and shading, especially if you want a more painterly style.
Watercolor Texture:
(hard to show examples of this, just assume that I've used it in any piece that has smooth shading lol)
Not the best for painting/drawing on its own, however I've found it to be really useful when set to white or black on an overlay layer for adding extra shading and/or highlighting on top of the shading I've already done.
I usually shade individual figures, objects, and parts separately, but using an overlay layer with Watercolor Texture (or even Shapes Square) on top of everything helps make the entire piece feel more cohesive.
Also adds a hint more texture!
Another thing to note is the importance of layer modes!
I know that you asked about brushes specifically, but many of these brushes (particularly those to do with effects and textures) work best when experimenting with different layer modes other than Normal. Overlay is generally a safe bet and most of the best for, well, overlaying multiple layers for interesting effects. But please try out all of them at any given opportunity, sometimes things like Burn, Color Dodge, Soft Light, etc can have more interesting effects!
In addition, mess with filter masks! You can even edit where they apply by drawing on the mask directly! HSV/HSL Adjustment (also accessible with ctrl+u) in particular is INSANELY useful for fiddling with the colors and balance of a piece, from individual layers to whole groups and drawings. I also really like blur filters, often times I'll duplicate a layer and make the bottom one blurred to add a glow affect to something without losing its definition.
While this latter stuff isn't about brushes specifically, its generally very important to how I use and experiment with all these different brushes!

First off, your many thank yous made me very very (two verys) happy. So thank YOU.
Second, you absolutely deserve all of the attention you're getting. You're seriously an incredible artist, and I love the fact that a lot of your art is on paper. I especially love how Donnie looks in your style (which is funny, because I remember you saying that you DIDN'T like it). Ahem. Getting off track a bit there. Anyways. You're an incredible artist, and all of the attention is well earned, AND it's okay to feel overwhelmed. I hope you know that we don't expect you to answer everything right away. You're popular, and lots of people are asking you to do things. You can choose to not do something, and you SHOULD. Do what inspires you, and we'll love it!
Third, and hopefully finally. I play with character AIs a lot, just to kind of see how characters would react to certain things. I AM an author, and I can imagine these things myself, but I like seeing it from external sources more. It almost seems more believable. When a human comes up with it, it just feels more raw and expressive. Or something. I have no clue what I'm saying; hopefully it's not too muddled. Then, when someone DRAWS it. It's a thousand times better. I just love it so much!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love how we can give you prompts and questions, and you'll go somewhere amazing with it. I loved the thing with Leo, Donnie, and the coffee. My thanks goes out to you and the asker. It's a huge gift to us when you respond. Literally, it's like a present, I love it.
So, just to clarify because I'm paranoid and words don't really work sometimes, are you okay with super random prompt-asks? Like earlier I saw a post where so-and-so asked so-and-so what the turtles night-time routines would be. Stuff like that?

I'm curious if his s/o confront or debate about Sephiroth's vengeance, they're will spit the fact about such as," You think this is best solution for destroying world because of your mother? Even your mother doing nothing to you, does she should protect you like every mother does instead demand you to destroy it?" I bet Sephiroth also question about it.
For sure! His S/O being present will intensify his identity crisis. But to successfully lead Sephiroth from the path of evil would depend on a variety of factors, imo. How long have they been in a relationship for? Is this confrontation happening at Mt. Nibel or the Shinra Manor? If they can say the right things (Really empathizing how important it is to be tactful here) and have already been in a relationship with Sephiroth long enough, it will be enough to make a difference. The location is important too, imo. The Shinra Manor is the time and place to let out those emotions, and the hard truths must be said. Beyond that, I just think there would be no stopping him.
Personally, I think it would be a bit easier for a SOLDIER S/O to get through to him as they can empathize with him, being a victim of Shinra’s greed and lies themselves. It will still be difficult, however. If they can successfully empathize with him, then they could definitely temper his rage by encouraging him to discover more information with them together and maybe convince him down the line that destroying the planet isn't something a true mother would want him to do.
I’m stealing this part from my Superman/Sephiroth analogy mini-essay (Which I may or may not post) It’s also important to think about the most important bonds he had in canon. Gast, Angeal, Genesis and later Zack (in his broken mind) abandoned him. He only had Jenova, whom he projected his idealization of motherhood onto. He also empathized with her. Humans took the planet from her and locked her up like some beast. These are the same humans who also used and abused Sephiroth. He calls Zack a traitor during his boss’ fight because he genuinely felt camaraderie with him, but now Zack is fighting for the very humans that hurt Sephiroth and his mother. Sephiroth now feels the need to protect himself and his mother. He also wants vengeance by lashing out at everything, which why he is hurting innocent people. Back to this scenario, it would become more than just Sephiroth’s vengeance. It will be his s/o vs Jenova. Using pure logic that his mother should have protected him like any other won't be effective. You must speak to him on an emotional level to make your argument.
Having Zack present at the manor would be a point in the S/O’s favor, since that’s two supports against one. I, like others, firmly believe that Zack failed to reach Sephiroth because he just wasn’t close enough to him. It also doesn’t help that Sephiroth may resent Zack for what happened to Angeal (from Dissidia Opera Omnia. If I can find the post, I’ll link it). For this situation: with his S/O's comforting presence, his resentment towards Zack will be tempered.

Ok so I've been wondering, what exactly led to Luka putting Faust in his mouth occasionally? Is there any actual scene behind the first time or was it just something you draw bc you like it? (Both options are lovely imo)
erm i’ll be tbh honest with you i tried to think of an instance where there was a “first time” but nothing stuck so yeah it just kinda happened because i wanted to draw it
one of my very first posts was like “grumpy tiny x giant with oral fixation dynamic” which was kinda the blueprint for lufa, but then when i started figuring out their personalities and they became more couple-y i realized luka would probably want to become a better person and would respect faust as a person more. thus doing fewer things to intentionally annoy faust/satisfy himsef
i still draw mouthplay stuff but i’m kind of iffy about what i post on tumblr now. i know there’s the community labels but in general i prefer to keep this account sfw, even though a good majority of my stuff is suggestive at worst lol

So i imagine you're comfortable with spoken Mandarin by now? But how about written?
Here’s the funny thing with my Mandarin! First of all important to know is that I’ve never actually taken a class or anything for it.
Listening: Day to day I understand what people are saying. Some vocabulary is stronger for me than others. Like when a Chinese teacher is talking to a student at school I can understand all of that. But at the doctor I need English still. And I’m far less comfortable having a social conversation in Mandarin. So basically my ability/comfort level here comes down to what I’ve been exposed to.
Speaking: I hit a block here for a while. Funny enough, I was very good at speaking Mandarin when I lived in China and nobody around me knew any English, and it got worse when I got to Taiwan. Also, and this happened for the first several years with Spanish for me too, I have like… irrational anxiety about speaking? Like I’m SO nonverbal as much as I can be but then when I do speak people say it sounds practically native. What still stops me a lot is because of my lack of formal education, I’m still missing a lot of sentence structures. When I finish my masters I’m gonna do an intensive course to just get all that down and I bet I can get to a good level of fluency in a few months. Like all the words are there, I just gotta put them together
Reading: Also enough to get around. I first learned pinyin, but I have an okay enough understanding of zhuyin/bopomofo that just reading kids books helps me learn a lot. So like I can follow signs and read a menu, and if I’m looking at like a random shop sign I probably know 25-30% of the characters, though not always their meanings haha
Writing: It’s bad lmao but not a priority right now. My stroke order is kind of bad and anything I write looks like a kid did it but I really only ever have to write my name and address which I can do okay. Everything else is typing which is much easier. I still type with pinyin on my phone so when I’m at a computer and need to use Zhuyin I’m kind of screwed but eh
So yeah basically I’m a lot worse than I should be and my Chinese has probably gotten worse since moving to Taiwan actually because my work is all in English here and I’ve been so busy with school and personal issues to really focus on studying but I do learn more every day and plan to keep at it.
tl;dr I speak like a kindergartener and read like a second grader

I don't know if this has been answered before, but why do you have a fascination with birds? In light of some hints I see in your post, including the most used tag on your account, my personal favorite birds are Great Horned Owls!
I am happy to answer non-fandom related asks :)
The reason I have such a fascination with birds is because ah, I'm super duper autistic and they have been in some form or another my special interest since I was 11 years old, and I'm currently working towards a career in ornithology right now.
It's hard to pick a single bird when ever single one I see is more radiant then the sun and softer then dust motes, but, if I had to choose my two favorites would have to be [in no particular order]:
Great Blue Heron: These lovely creatures fill me with a deep joy. Most would say their defining traits would be their elegance, and while I don't say they're not ! I would say that they can look adorably awkward on their big stilts of legs :) [my most recent post w/ bird skeletons [grace] were Heron skeletons actually [though not all specifically Great Blue Herons]] [they are also Extremely fun to draw, you can add a certain bit of mystique with their strange anatomy that you can't really get with any other critter!]
Mourning Doves: These sweet drops of candy can get me giggly and peppy with nothing but a ruffle. They have such big empty eyes I can not help but fall madly deeply in love; who let them have little drops of burnt sugar attached to their itty-bitty faces? &! When they do strechs and puff up their wings they look softer then freshly fallen sediment, it is hard not to adore them :)
Honorable mentions would probably be:
Bar owls: they are treebark and lycan and freshly fallen ash, and also supremely stupid . [/aff] they are Burning dust caught in the air in a midsummer morning! !!!
Red tailed hawks: Ohh red tailed hawks, I'm filled with a deep longing and envy when I see them, to be a sunset and fallen trees and autumn all at once, is it hard to be more radiant than the [eye of heaven]?
Kestrel: these guys! goofy silly :) [their steel greys and bracketed blacks and lovely oranges are so so So lvoely]

yeah it's so sad...can you imagine how much bigger seeu could have become if she was trilingual
vocaloid wiki says seeu english was canceled: "mainly because of how they were unsure how the fans would react, and also because of the need to heighten SeeU's popularity. SBS [said] that SeeU is "good for the library, whether or not, we'll see.""
i'm not entirely sure what that means though...unfortunately the link they give to the screenshot of the email where SBS said this seems to be broken.
her "impact" section on her article says: "The hiatus [on developing SeeU English] was to raise SeeU's profile and make her more popular as SBS A&T were unsure how fans would react." so i think it means that they wanted to wait to see if seeu was popular enough to warrant an english voicebank. and they wanted to try to make her more popular so an english voicebank would sell better but it just didn't happen.
and while kim dahee's legal issues aren't the cause of the cancelation, i imagine that'd make it difficult to give seeu any kind of update without controversy. but they still sell seeu and st media still posts seeu stuff on their youtube channel so i wouldn't say she's abandoned.
seeu was unfortunately never as successful as her company hoped. apparently they even admitted she sold less than they expected. plus seeu was actually kinda controversial when she was first released due to the history of anti-korean xenophobia in japan. just a lot of unfortunate factors which led to unpopularity which led to her english bank being canceled...

Do you think Hector is Cassandra's dad? Or maybe Vedis perhaps?
Hector and Cass do resemble each other, and he's about the right age, so I can def see where ppl get the idea- but I don't HC that he's her dad personally!
I don't think it'd add anything to their dynamic and it'd be hard to separate with all the baggage from the mt, the Tree, etc. 'Special hidden parentage reveals' and ~destiny~ are overdone enough in the series too, imo- I wouldn't want it to feel like any smaller of a world, y'know?
Chris (sigh) also suggested in a post-finale interview that he had something in mind re. Cass' father, and that his identity might be explored as a plot point if he were given a spinoff- if the intent was for it to be Hector, I think the original series would've hinted at the connection more and gone in a different direction with their interactions.
Vedis tho! That's a new one! I don't think I've heard that suggested as a possibility before? My preference is always going to be that her biodad was just Some Guy, but I think Cass having DK heritage that's a few degrees removed from the Brotherhood trio and royal family is interesting and a nice midpoint.
It seems more plausible as well, since we know he left the DK and traveled extensively with the circus, including visiting Corona- it'd be more likely that Gothel would encounter him out in the world rather than running across Hector at the Tree.
With Vedis' feelings towards the moonstone/DK, him running from his past, and the greyer morality, I feel like there could be more of a connection and some potential common threads btwn him and Cass, too? Just spitballing, but what it means to make a difference, laws vs. doing what's right, the meaning of 'home', the shared exp of life on the road... less bad blood, and more of an opportunity for them to learn from each other, than there'd be w/ Hector?

Gosh, thank you for appreciating them. Honestly, I'm just happy that people like them, because making icons is a bit of stress relief compared to the hodge-podge of gifmaking. Like yoga vs an intense cardio workout, if you will. I gather that might be a bit of a dramatic comparison, but there's definitely a level of "I can shut my brain off a bit while doing this" that I experience with making icons that I definitely do not experience while giffing.
Point being—my unneeded rambling aside—that it's a bit of a break from everything (both in Photoshop and in life) for me, and I'm glad that people enjoy them enough to use them. It makes me really happy to see. 🥺
