There’s this 1st-grade obnoxious rude little shit I have to interact with about twice a week and today he brought up to the class “Did you know Tr. ******” is a girl???” which is a thing that comes up a lot towards one of our administrators who actually does look and sound quite masc
But no, I’ve checked, she’s just a very butch lesbian who likes to present that way. Kudos. But usually when my students express confusion about her, which they do often, I instruct them to go ask her directly about it. She often challenges them in good ways like “Are you a boy or a girl?” “What do you think?”
And anyway this shitty ass kid today continues with “Yeah, she’s a girl who wants to be a boy” and BUDDY did that set me off
I asked him if Tr. ****** told him that directly and he was like “No my mom said so” and I just shut him down with “How would she know if Tr. ****** didn’t tell you or your mom that herself?”
Like if that happened in my class we would have had a discussion about trans identities because they ALL were supposed to learn about it in kindergarten but I’ve seen that it’s one thing for something to be in the curriculum but another for a teacher to actually TEACH it… ahem (also I don’t fucking WANT to know how these cis teachers teach kindergartners about trans identities lmao just let me do it) ((I’m stealth at school, I mean parents clock me pretty darn quick but the students have no clue))
Anyway. Sick of it.

Society says that fat people are just lazy and only need to exercise, which is rarely even goddamn true, but then you SHAME people who seem to actively be fighting against that? Rot in hell

A. Fuck off to a seaside cliff festival in the rain which I’ve been looking to all year and get absolutely fucked up out of my mind, actually using up some of the ~stuff~ I have sitting around in my house
or
B. stay home and WRITE which I haven’t been able to do in WEEKS and I’m quite behind where I should be and also I do desperately need the rest and also it would make my dog quite happy to have the company…
