Wow SNL really is so desperate for any kind of viewership at this point that they put on their big boy pants, spent 5 minutes researching, 3 minutes writing, and scraped together a parody video so tone deaf and stupid that it was a little embarassing.
You’re right SNL, men holding the co owner of their company responsible for work violations is hilarious and overblown. Completely off topic question though, doesn’t your show have a rich history of harassment scandals and workplace violations? asking for a friend.
Also, Ned Fulmer’s Yale buddy who works for SNL if you somehow see this, hope your Yale Buddy gives you a break considering you’ve spent the last sketch cycle bending over backwards so you can suck him off. Ned Fulmer’s a loser who cheated on his wife for over a year and a half and only fessed up when he got caught but sure the others are the ones we should be clowning on.
Okay the SNL skit about The Try Guys is so gross. They completely ignore the actual real power dynamics between Ned (company owner and boss) and Alex (subordinate) and make the whole thing into a joke about how it was just a “consensual kiss” and the guys are going overboard. IT CANT BE CONSENSUAL IN THOSE POWER DYNAMICS! That’s a legal and moral precedent!
Just disgusting. And it makes sense they took this angle considering that Ned has friends who are writers for SNL.
Irish bar owner Jack McManus (Chris Farley) proudly tells stories about standing up to Errol Flynn, Burt Lancaster, Nelson Rockefeller and Clark Gable, but the stories always end with Jack being a coward and getting humiliated. [Season 18, 1993]
Funeral, starring Jason Sudeikis as a funeral director and an ensemble cast (Will Ferrell, Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Wille Forte, Bobby Moynihan, and Maya Rudolph) as weirdass randos.
#6 on our Halloween countdown: The Curse of Frankenstein, starring Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis as two monsters who are pretty sure the angry mob has got the wrong house.
SNL has not been funny for years; now they make an actually shitty horrific skit making fun of people who’ve been seriously hurt after doing 2 seconds of research and are giving twitter the window to say stuff like “it’s just a comedy show” “they’re making fun of people like YOU” “that words just something you learned from tumblr” okay way to show your big ages I guess????? I hate twitter and I hate SNL and most of all I hate Ned
