HI AGAIN MIKI! Sorry abt this novel of an ask /D UR RIGHT CHILDE'S DESIGN IS UGLY aksjfnaks these arent even hot takes tbh theyre just facts! also candace yeah hers is... i agree. Things i like abt her are her shield + heterochromia (nod) + her colours! and ah dont get me wrong i love bennett, and ofc razor! (he was the first 4star i pulled and im v attached to him) my irks towards their designs are mainly bc i think they deserve better. and i think ur completely right regarding ayato’s design! Smth more traditional (like ayaka’s?) wouldve been a lot neater + fitting! every time i look at his long sleeves i cringe just a bit (hes one my mains tho pfft). and yeah abt sumeru! after all the orientalism, insensitivity, tone-deafness by hyv throughout the region i rlly dont like many of them… at least design wise, tho i like their actual personalities! (srry nilou + nahida + dori) also obvs bc of how white they all are ugh yup ur right. reason why my fave sumeru chars are cyno + collei who imo can do no wrong + i already liked them from the manga lmao (i would type more abt sumeru but its just beating a dead horse @ this point)

ajsfdlk im VERY GLAD we agree on the childe part (his design really is UGLY) and many of the other things too!!! just saying things as they are bc we are absolutely correct 😌 oh and yes i understood what you meant abt bennys and razors designs! their designs are indeed quite basic and simple and they could have had better ones for sure. its just that i really like their characters and im already a bit attached with the designs they have but that doesnt mean they couldnt have or deserved better ones! and abt ayato, yes i was exactly thinking he should have like a male version of ayakas design!! and was so disappointed when he didnt. those long sleeves.... ajkdlfs i get you yeah, theyre so WEIRD and useless they only serve as ayatos boba tea storage

abt sumeru... yeah hyv is def not listening and just doing what they want and its. so disrespectful. ughhh the characters do really deserve better design wise yeah. and collei is one of my fave sumeru characters too! i also saw her first in the manga (tho idk if i ever finished the manga? bc it wasnt complete in the official website when i read it) and then seeing her again in the main story, years later and with the remaining sequels of all she had suffered before.... i love her a lot she deserves all the love in the world 💜

ooh and my fave ult animations! the prettiest for me is probably kokomis animation! i love how she makes like a water swirl and everything turns blue and purple its so so pretty!! i also love kazuha (all the anemo and maple leaves around him is so Beautiful) and ayakas ult (she looks so pretty with her sword and her hand fan right about unleashing a huge cryo swirl) a lot. oh and hu tao yoimiya and albedos too! (i feel like im just mentioning my mains at this point but well ajkdlfk i see their ults a lot so is normal that theyre my faves ig!) and ooooh shenhes ult animation is also very very pretty i really like hers too! and xinyans!! her ult is def the best from all the 4 stars, its sooo cool how she sets her "stage" on fire and YES she does deserve a lot better bc shes an amazing character and i love her a lot too!

oh and dw youre not bothering me at all!!! on the contrary im always so happy to see your asks!!! i love interacting with my mutuals too and i really like talking to you! and abt your name yes of course! i made sure to write it as it is and that includes the accents obviously!

I wrote this instead of working on my summer work, blame Arcane for ripping apart my soul I had to get this off my chest This is the communication the two needed and never got (the explanation)

Idk how to write crazy characters (and I don’t mean that as an insult to Jinx bby)

Inspired by many Arcane fics I’ve binged read. I watched Arcane in 2 days :D my soul…I didn’t know what I was in for .

Idk how to write Jinx (x2), but I basically write her as if she’s given up because of all the constant pain, longing for sanity/normalcy

This is a divergent AU where Vi restrains Jinx (can we even call it if she just gives up) at the Dinner scene. She just glares daggers at Cait and spews shit. But she’s resigned. She threatens to shoot herself, just lets her arm limp pathetically with the gun down, no longer pointing at Cait, (“bullshit!”). Doesn’t point it at Vi, just sighs. Jinx gets sent to prison for 2 years, worsening her mental health being stuck in a cement box, but she gets therapy even if she doesn’t want it. She wants to feel better, doesn’t really feel she deserves it, and she doesn’t feel like there’s much she can do. Which leads us to now, house arrest. (I made this up on the spot)

"momma" scorpius shook her arm, and draco chuckled from behind, "momma wake up, its christmas" the little boy yells out. y/n's eyes begin to flutter open, and she turns her head.

her eyes are met with her husbands, her sons, and her daughter. "morning loves" she mutters, sitting up against the headboard

"morning, we wanted to wake you up before we opened presents of course, isnt that right scorp" draco says, ruffling the boys platinum blonde hair

"mhm, and daddy said i can have candy once you woke up" scorpius says, and draco tightens his lips together, hiding his face in his baby daughters neck as he held her

"oh did he?" y/n raises her eyebrow, a smirk playing upon her features

"it was his idea" draco blames the boy

"no it wasnt, you said i-" draco cuts him off, as he attacks his stomach with tickles, and places the girl in y/n's arms

they are all giggling, as scorpius laughs, squirming around. while ava, their one year old, claps her hands together in amusement, and lets out soft laughs. "oh, you think this is funny?" draco turns around, and his fingers meet the girls stomach as well, making her small laughs become louder

scorpius stands up, falling on y/n's lap, and kissing her cheek. he wraps his small arms around her, and she looks into his ice blue eyes, placing a kiss on his button nose, "wanna go make pancakes with me?"

"actually-" draco interrupts, picking ava up and holding her to face the mother and son, "we already made breakfast. you deserve a break, love"

y/n smiles at his sweet gesture, even though hes always considerate, and never overworks her. "even better, lets go" she pats scorpius' leg, and he jumps off her lap, running to the kitchen.

"thank you" y/n goes on her tippy toes, placing a kiss on dracos forehead, pinching both his and ava's cheek softly. he chuckles, placing his hand on the bottom of her back, leading them to the kitchen

"daddy, when am i getting the candy" scorpius pouts, waiting in the kitchen. draco squats down to meet his level, placing ava on his lap.

"okay okay, come on, let's go beg momma to let us have candy" he muses

"momma!!" scorpius yells, tapping y/n's leg, "please" he looks up at her, with soft baby eyes, and she shakes her head at his cleverness

"your just like your father, scorp" she kisses the top of his head, then turns around to get the candy out of the cabinet. "here" she hands it to the excited boy, and he thanks her, walking over to the couch and climbing up onto it.

"your right, hes just like me, irresistible" draco jokes, making y/n roll her eyes, and place a kiss on his lips

Okay i wanna talk about mid season finale because I have so much to say, first of all i’m in pain, lots of it and so much shock and confusion and happiness too. Yeah mixing emotions.

Okay secondly, when the episode started and Max was giving gifts to everyone and told Sandra (from billing) “Please tell me your cat didn’t die” I WHEEZED. I’m sorry it’s just so funny. Next Lauren’s gift was for her favourite restaurant and she just be like “IM A VEGETARIAN NOW” !!!!!!! girl you ate a whole damn steak in a hospital bed, okay but Leyla making Lauren vegetarian is hilarious i was like darling u what???? anyways, these couple minutes were FR funny and as always i enjoy Max’s ideas and chats with everyone.

Now moving to where things started to hurt!!!!!!!!! Lauren came really excited about the idea of a romantic dinner with her girlfriend at her favourite restaurant and david hun you turned OUR chance into the confrontation???????? (SCREAMING AND CRYING) Well, Leyla asking Lauren “how much did you spend to buy my residency?” No because in that moment i started to cry, Lauren’s face broke me and then “where did you hear that” no like my girl leyla ain’t stupid she can do some math and 2+2, gosh. Then when Lauren actually tells her the amount, Leyla’s face broke me even MORE.

MOVING AGAIN BC I WANNA JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THE SECOND PART OF THE LEYREN CONFRONTATION AND HERE I HAVE MY FEELINGS MIXED. First Lauren expected Leyla not to be mad after she asked literally how much did she pay for her residency and decided to ask like nothing happened BBY i love you but come on. secondly, seeing Leyla so hurt hurt me immensely i started crying again, she doesn’t deserve that, she did nothing wrong absolutely nothing. Now here’s where things get rough because Leyla is completely right. Lauren was selfish, self serving and LIED to her when she asked if she had something to do with her recidency. However when Leyla told her “that’s not love” NO BBY these things didn’t need to be said. Lauren has never been this in love and she has no reference of healthy relationships. She thinks her actions are for the better, when she said “I just made sure everyone knew it and if i hadn’t you’d be halfway across the country, you’d be gone, we’d be over” Her abandonment issues took the best of Lauren, she thought making all of this would make everything better not realizing how Leyla would feel after she knew the truth. I understand Lauren’s feelings, sometimes when you’re in love you make everything so you don’t lose them but sometimes also all those actions you make without stop to think twice may make you lose them anyway.

Going back to where Leyla said “you tried to own me, you bought me that’s not love” She is mad and I get it, she’s hurt and I get it, everything she’s feeling is absolutely right but doubting Bloom’s love because of a mistake ? yes it was a huge mistake, what Lauren did was for love even though it looks so freaking bad. But Lauren loves her more than anything and it shows because she would risk everything for her. I know Leyla is hurt now and probably will need the time and space to process all of this before coming back to Lauren, and i want to talk about what Iggy was speaking to the married couple whose lost their kid . “Talk to each other is how you survive” I also think after Leyla takes her time they need to talk about it. Because they love each other we have seen it and I don’t think Leyla is gonna give up that easily, I just know she won’t she just needs time.

That’s it. If you read my rant thanks i appreciate, i’m still with lots of feelings on especially about the Leyren drama, but imma gonna hope for the best I just know Lauren can fix it somehow and make it up to Leyla and Leyla is kind and has a big heart she’s gonna forgive her, she loves lauren too. I hope she tells her that.

I have no idea what i’m gonna do until Jan 4 without my comfort show, gotta deal with the pain i have in this moment first 😭.

• You and your bestie hang out every Wednesday night! So if Oikawa tries to hang out with you, you reject him

• You often went out to lunch with Oikawa, and your friend would end up tagging along

• When you came back to an intense glaring battle between the two you smacked them both on the back of their head

• The constant bickering between the two never ended and only continued when you were turned around

• One minute they were with you the next your hear slamming on the lockers seeing your boyfriend yelping in pain and your best friend looking around

“His fangirls do be crazy.”

• You sigh and help him up placing a kiss on his forehead, your best friends jaw dropping and him sticking his tongue out at her

• When you catch one of them in the act they automatically get scolded while the other snickers at them

“Oikawa! Don’t step on her!”

Kenma:

• He seems like he doesn’t care, but he’s ready to throw hands ✨

• When he sees yours best friend glaring at him, he knows what’s about to happen

• He lays his head on your lap smirking at her while her jaw drops

• You automatically run your fingers through his hair

• They were really discreet about how they fought

• The moment your head turns Kenma hisses gives her a warning glare not to mess with him

• Kenma doesn’t care if y’all are best friends he’s going to call her out anytime

• You guys are getting lunch together?

“Y/f/n why’d you step on me?”

• You’re leading them back to class?

“Why are you glaring at me?”

• Overall you sit your friend down while Kenma smirks at her from across the room

“If you game so much why don’t you marry your game instead of y/n?!”

“That’s not legal and that’s weird, what goes through your brain y/f/n?”

• You sigh and hug Kenma looking at your friend

“I know you’re looking out for me, but Kenma is harmless... see?”

• As you lift his face up, his face squished between your hands as he looked confused

“He looks like a fish”

“You look like kuroo’s nasty foot y/f/n but you don’t see me saying anything.”

• They could never not fight 🙈

• There was something about Kenma that bothered your friend, and she was one to take action, and he was only attacking her because she was attacking him

• Kuroo usually stuck around to be amused at Kenma being so fired up, come on Kenma being fired up? That didn’t mean he was always happy with what happened

Y/f/n: Shut up your roots are showing!

Kenma: and your head is as big as Kuroo’s ego!

Kuroo: why do all his insults include me :(

Y/n: I’m not sure... *pats his back awkwardly*

Bokuto:

• BABY WAS SO SAD

• When your friend would pull you away glaring at him he questioned what he did wrong

• When she would tell him you’re busy hanging out with her he was upset

• And Akaashi didn’t stand for Bokuto being upset so while you and Bokuto would invite them places Akaashi would protect Bokuto and You from seeing her seeth at the owl haired boy

• Akaashi protecc yes yes but he also attacc

• The moment your best friend is about to say you two have plans he pushed her face back

“What the hell Akaashi?!”

“Sorry y/f/n, you had a fly on your face.”

• But when Akaashi wasn’t there-

“Hey! Y/f/n! Y/n! Where did you guys go!?”

• She would drag you far away from him before you could say anything

• This would upset Bokuto, which you would walk over to him and kiss his nose

“Don’t be upset! It was a split second!”

• He would automatically light up with happiness he loved nose kisses stop

• You definitely were as clueless as Bokuto, because it wasn’t until Akaashi brought up your friend throwing things at Bokuto that you noticed

• This upset you, you knew Bokuto wasn’t the type to argue back because he wouldn’t wanna upset you or your homegirls 😎

• As much as you weren’t one to notice things right away, you were definitely one to confront people

“Y/f/n. You need to stop being rude to Bokuto.”

“I’m just worried about you is all!”

• You raised an eyebrow at this sitting with her

“I don’t want you to get hurt like the past few times - I don’t know Bokuto but the more I messed with him, I realized he didn’t even bother to respond because he didn’t want to upset you by getting angry with me...”

• You hold onto her shoulders and smile at her

“I appreciate you looking out for me but Bokuto wouldn’t even hurt a fly.”

• You friend ended up apologizing to him to which Akaashi apologized to her-

“I’m sorry I pushed your face..”

“And?”

“I’m sorry I tripped you so you wouldn’t catch up to y/n and Bokuto.”

“And?”

“AND IM SORRY I THREW MY BOOK AT YOU OKAY?”

“Akaashi you threw a book at her?”

“At the back of her head and it was a paper copy so it wasn’t that bad.”

Kuroo:

• Niether of them were slick about it, and they didn’t care

• Oh, you have to go study with Kuroo?

“She’s mine!”

“She’s MY girlfriend!”

• With the amount of times they pull you by your arms and use you as a tug of war rope, you’d think your arms grew longer

Y/f/n: She has to come to my house, we have a test to study for *tugs you towards her*

Kuroo: Well Shes better off coming with me because you have no brain and I’m smarter than you *tugs you towards him*

• This goes on for awhile until Kenma just casually grabs you and walks away with you leaving them to argue and confused about where you went

• Sometimes when you force them to both study with you, you watch your best friend throw Kuroo’s stuff off the table

• Or he brings you a coffee and completely ignores her and let’s her go coffee-less

• They weren’t subtle and you had no clue as to why they were so mean to one another

• They crossed the line a certain day when you went shopping with Kenma, Kuroo and your best friend

Y/f/n: Shut it rooster head I’ll sell you so they can chop you up and have you for dinner!

Kuroo: You’re just mad you cant be naturally pretty like me!

• When she smacked Kuroo in the back of the head making him drop the coffee he was drinking and she claimed there was a “bug on his head” Kenma was already 10 feet away from y’all claiming he doesn’t know you guys

• Especially because he saw your fuming face he wanted no part in that

• As the two were bickering you stood over them, angrily with your fists to your sides both of the automatically getting quiet

“One more argument out of either of you and I’ll leave both of you here and take Kenma with me.”

• They both remained quiet and the rest of the trip was peaceful ✨

• Until you got home-

“She was MY best friend first.”

“She was not! Plus she’s my girlfriend that over rules best friend.”

fights, tears, and make-ups

pairing: kenma kozume x reader

word count: 1.4k

genre: angst (but i honestly can’t tell if it’s super ansty-), fluff, hurt/comfort

synopsis: kenma shouldn’t have taken you for granted, but he did.

“Kenma, you need to eat dinner.”

“In a sec,” you heard the blond-haired boy reply from his gaming room, undoubtedly with his eyes still glued to the screen.

“Kenma. You haven’t eaten all day. You need to eat.”

Seconds pass with no response. With a sigh, you grabbed the bowl beside you and walked towards his room. Sliding open his door, you find him completely focused on the game. He’s pale, dark circles under his eyes drooping and anyone walking in would see he’s exhausted, needing rest, but he can’t. The only thing on his mind is that he has to pass this level.

Walking over gently, you place the bowl onto his table. Kenma jumps at the noise, not having known you were there, the motion making his screen character go a little too far left and being crushed by a falling rock.

He throws his console onto the desk and gives you a stare burning through your skin. “I was about to pass that level. I’ve been stuck on it for a day and you just had to enter right then.”

“Kenma, you haven’t eaten a single thing today-”

“Oh, shut up.”

You tense up under his harsh words, about to speak when you’re cut off by more of his rambling.

“Kenma this, Kenma that. It’s annoying. Quit acting like I can’t take care of myself. Things were so much quieter and calmer without you anyways.”

His tone is barely above a whisper, almost as if he thought it was too much of a bother to talk to you. Taken aback by his words, you take a moment to fully absorb what he had said, every word cutting a slash into your heart.

“I hope your life goes back to calm and quiet” were the last words you left him before you left the apartment with tears streaming down your face.

Kenma’s eyes linger on you for a moment before going back onto his screen. He instantly regrets what he said, but doesn’t go after you. Instead, he restarts his game and his character dies again, at the exact same place.

The bowl of food on his table goes cold.

The first day with you gone passes fine for Kenma. As usual, he goes to sleep at way too late and gets up at noon-ish and scrambles together some food to prepare for his stream. His viewers tell him he doesn’t seem as energetic, and isn’t smiling as much. He says that he’s a little tired and didn’t sleep too well last night, which was only half the truth. He feels a little empty, mind often tracing back to your smile and then immediately to your tear-stained face. He eats two bites of bread for dinner and decides to go to sleep.

“I’ll be fine,” he thinks, “I don’t need y/n to live.”

The days only spiral downhill from there. Snack wrappers thrown all over the apartment and laundry piled up into stacks. He hasn’t eaten something actually cooked in days. Having no energy to do anything, he calls off streams for a whole week. Most of his time is spent lying on the sofa with his face towards the ceiling, replaying his last conversation with you in his head over and over and over again.

“Things were much quieter and calmer without you anyways.”

I’m sorry. Please come back.

He contemplates so many times on whether or not to call you, to text you, to try and get in touch with you. But he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. He was the one who hurt you, told you you were annoying when he didn’t realize how much you matter to him.

Kuroo checks in on Kenma every single day. By the fourth day, he’s determined to make him talk to you.

“Kenma, you can’t keep living like this.”

Tired eyes glued to his screen, the pudding-head boy grumbles in response, Not enough energy in him to do anything else.

Sighing, Kuroo unplugs his entire monitor and forces his chair to spin towards him so that he’s staring Kenma right in the eyes.

“Kenma, I’m serious. You need to talk to her.”

“And then what?”

Kuroo staggers a little, taken aback from the question.

“And then what, Kuroo? I hurt her. She deserves so much better anyways.”

The rooster-haired boy takes his phone and throws it onto his lap.

“You need to call her sooner or later. I don’t know when, but you need to.”

Kenma gently holds his phone with two hands with his thumbs hovering over the screen, constantly switching between the keyboard and the delete button. He debates himself for fifteen seconds before giving up and pressing the call button.

The phone has rung seven times and you have yet to pick up. He’s certain that you won’t pick up at all. Yet on the eighth ring, you pick up.

“Kenma?” He hears from the other side.

His voice hitches in his throat. A thousand thoughts are crossing his mind and his breath is suddenly stggered. He tries to say “I’m sorry”, “Where are you”, and “Please come back” at the same time, but none of them seem to be coming out.

“Kenma, you there?”

“Yn.”

His voice is so empty, dull, tiring and you almost drop your phone out of shock.

“Where are you?”

Coming back to reality, you swallow and reply, “Friend’s house. Why?”

“Can we, uhm, can we talk?”

Your side of the line goes silent for three whole seconds before you take a deep breath and reply, “Sure. Give me a time and place.”

“If you don’t mind, can you just come home?”

HIs voice quivered at the word home, like it wasn’t really home to him anymore. Not without you. You couldn’t help but tell him you’ll be back in a bit.

As you reach closer to your building, the more your heart threatens to jump out of your throat. There’s a knot in your stomach that you just can’t get rid of, and even though you know this was all his fault, your mind can’t stop racing. None of this was your fault, was it?

Before realizing, your hand was on the door handle and without thinking too much, you push the door open.

To say you were shocked from the state of the apartment is an understatement. Yes, Kenma wasn’t the tidiest person in the world, but you knew he’d never let the apartment get this messy. The moment you walked in you knew he would be in a bad state too, which confused you. But he didn’t want you here, did he?

Suddenly, you hear footsteps coming towards you. Frozen in place, you wonder if this was a bad idea. If you should just leave and tell him you couldn’t make it, but it’s too late. By the time your head has gotten back into reality, he was standing in front of you, eyes full of guilt and regret.

“Hey,” you try to say, which turns out to be nothing more than a whisper.

Hesitating for a second, he stumbles towards you and falls into your arms, leaning into your touch, burying his face into your neck and mumbling “I’m sorry” and “please forgive me” again and again.

“I was stupid. It’s all my fault. I was frustrated and took it out on you. I shouldn’t have done that. I’m sorry. Everything is so much better with you and I was being dumb. I’m so sorry please don’t leave.” His eyes were brimmed with tears, threatening to spill out any second. He’s rambling, words that he had meant to say to you over the past days all spilling out. He can’t seem to be able to stop. You’ve never seen him so scared, so vulerable.

Holding him tight, you take a deep breath, swallowing the many things you wanted to say to him, to blame him, to yell at him, to tell him it’s all his fault.

Instead, you hold him tight against you.

“Shh, Kenma. I’m here now. I won’t leave, okay? I’ve got you, we can talk this out.”

He grabs onto you even tighter. “Thank you. Thank you thank you.”

You were going to have a lot to talk about, you both knew that for sure. And maybe things aren’t going to go back to how they were for a long time. But right now he was in your arms and you were in his, and he was never more determined to fix what he broke.
