I was chased by a hybrid FNAF animatronic (DJ Musicman with Funtime Freddy’s head) from the hallways to the science lab at a boarding school.

Oh to be a tiny little nanodroid repairing an abandoned lab with my other nanodroid friends, blissfully unaware that any previous occupants are long gone, and that there’s no need for us to work anymore

Places: Laboratories
A scientist in his laboratory is not a mere technician: he is also a child confronting natural phenomena that impress him as though they were fairy tales.

To my kiddo to work to do a brief experiment, and this baby is ready to be a scientist!

I wandered endlessly through a cheap art supply store as my old science lab partner tried to sell me two-for-one Valentine’s day dresses and tickets to go clubbing.

I'm painting a gift for my lab now that I've graduated!
I did my whole masters during covid in an empty lab. I'd communicate with my supervisor, who was on sabbatical in New York for all two years of my masters, through Slack and Zoom. Sometimes my colleague would come in, but it was mostly empty. Our lab meetings were virtual, too.
In second year, there were one or two more people, but most days it was still quiet. Occasionally my supervisor would come by Toronto and treat us to lunch, then head back to New York.
This is a tribute to the quiet days where it was only me, the kettle for making tea, the whiteboard for problem solving, and occasionally my colleague, who'd wave at me from his office.
It was honestly a great two years, and I'm going to miss my lab so much. 🥺💖

Crisis Core Reunion mini-SPOILERS!!
I’d like to point out that this is the operating table that Vincent was experimented on. It already was creepy in CC, but it was ramped up to an even higher level of eerie in Reunion. Granted, the human experimentation scene might be heavily dumbed down (I really hope not, please SE, don’t do this), and the design might be very different. But of all the things they’ve censored in Reunion, this certainly wasn’t one of them.
