It's so annoying when people say OSDDID accounts are only run by fakers because "why would a person with real OSDDID show off their disorder like that?"

Because we're real people! We have real interests! We can want to be online and be ourselves if we want too! It's our trauma and we can do what we want with it! We shouldn't be forced to close ourselves away from everyone to prove our legitimacy!

If you wouldn't say it to someone with depression, don't say it to someone with OSDDID! /srs

Sayori here to remind you that you are allowed to decorate your mobility aids to your liking! /gen

This may seem obvious to some people, but a lot of ableist people like to share the idea that decorating a mobility aid is a sign of faking. Trust me, it's not! Tons of disabled people decorate their mobility aids to feel more like themselves, and you are allowed to do so as well! This goes for canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, and everything else!

You are not faking if you want a personalized aid.

You are not faking if you put cute stickers on your aid.

You are not faking if you want to stand out with your aid.

You are not faking if you don't want the boring industrial gray.

You just have a personality, and that's okay! Just because you're disabled doesn't mean you have to abandon your personality, especially not to please our ableist society. Just remember that you are valid and many people support you, including me! ♡

Hiyo! :) I have another horror film recommendation, this one for Yuri and Natsuki (if you're interested).

There's a 1999 flick called "Ravenous," centered around a Mexican-American War general, exiled to a remote outpost in the Rockies due to showing cowardice during a massacre of his unit, who then crosses paths with someone claiming to be from a group of white settlers who was duped by another army general into taking an impossible route to Oregon--one that left the whole party so cold and hungry that he, the lone survivor, turned to cannibalism to survive. In the course of trying to get to the bottom of the matter, however, the exiled general begins to suspect that something much darker and more supernatural is afoot--especially after he begins to feel many of the same urges.

As you might guess, there's a good amount of cannibalism and gore in the film, mixed in with some pretty potent social commentary and thematic musings about the legacy of Manifest Destiny on American history. Since Yuri was so interested in cannibalism and Natsuki in gorier films with body counts, I figured this one might be right up your alleys, too. :) It's a pretty solid film that's garnered quite the cult following over the years, one I'd recommend watching at least once for sure.
