soo i’m writing a marcmarc fanfiction and Im going to make it multi chapter, it’s going to explore a bit Bez’s internalised homophobia and his path towards the light (fucking with Marc)

and i’m going to upload it both here and on Ao3, if you like it i’d love for you to leave kudos, no pressure tho obv <3

2024 pre-season

It was cold, but still, Marco was sitting outside the ranch, it was around 3 in the morning he supposed, thoughts clouded by the joint he was still finishing up.

He was trying to reflect on something that had been seriously affecting his life lately, or rather much someone.

Marc Marquez.

Since he had signed with Gresini the Spaniard just seemed to continuously pop up into his life, whether it was on track or not, like last week for example, he was out with a group of his friends and who did he meet at the club he went to? Marc Marquez, drinking with a guy he thought was a friend of the man, but the more he thought about it, the more he remembered strange details, like a hand lingering a bit too much or a few glances casted in a very lustful way.

He archived the memory as a made up one, a result of the not so little amount of alcohol he consumed that night.

Plus, Marc had a girlfriend, and even if he didn't, everyone on the grid was straight.

All the jokes, flirty ones even, were always platonic and between friends, he did that too with Pecco, and it wasn’t like he was…gay.

He had had a girlfriend until a few weeks prior, when she decided it would’ve been a good idea to cheat on him and dump him via text of all things.

The joint was coming to an end, and with it all his will to stay outside and freeze, looking for a warm blanket and a snack instead.

Memories grew along with his hunger, and the frames of his mind ran back to the night he saw Marquez at the club.

Shirt buttoned just halfway, a silver necklace adorning his neck and bouncing slightly every time he moved.

His smile, a painfully magnetic one, drawing people to him like moths to a flame, like his eyes, profound and deep.

But what Bez remembered the best were his shoulders.

Broad, muscled, tanned and glowing with sweat, moving up and down rhythmically when he laughed.

If he focused enough, he could remember peeking the outline of one of Marc’s scars from the hem of his shirt, and something similar to a hickey on the juncture between his neck and shoulder, sinfully on display.

Fuck, why did he remember those things? He was pretty sure that a blonde flirted with him that night, he was sure she was hot even, but he couldn’t remember a single detail from her, just from that small fucking bastard

As his mind stopped wandering Bez realized he was back into his room, an half finished protein bar in hand and an obviously painful bulge in his pants.

Fuckfuckfuckfuck how did that happen? was it the blonde? it couldn’t have been Marquez, could it?

The answer came when his dick twitched at the mention of Marc’s name.

He was conflicted: should he let it go away on its own or act on it? because he knew the moment he would’ve touched himself thinking of his rival it would’ve been over for him.

Seeing him in the paddock, on insta or at one of the clubs would’ve meant remembering this.

he thought while sliding into bed and slowly slipping his hand into his pants.

It was embarrassing how quickly he became vocal about it, softly of course because he didn’t want the other guys or worst, Vale, to hear him moan out Marc Marquez’s name and finding him like that.

He stroked his cock with growing speed, twisting his wrist when he came close to the tip, gritting his teeth and grabbing the sheets with his free hand.

“Marc-“ a suffocated plea leaving the boy's mouth, but remaining painfully present in his room, floating around as a curse.

The more he thought about the Spaniard the harder he got, he wanted more more more.

He wanted Marc, in all his stupid perfection, he wanted him to choke on his cock, or bouncing on it, he wanted Marc to be as desperate for him as Bez was for the man.

“Si si si” a trail of words left the boy’s mouth to get lost into the silent and cold night in Tavullia, alongside with Marco’s orgasm, which hit him hard and fast, ropes of white liquid staining his abdomen and part of the sheets.

He went to the bathroom to wash his hands and getting cleaned up, being extra careful not to wake anyone up.

He looked at himself in the mirror, cheeks red, puffy lips and glassy eyes, pupils still blown wide from the smoke and the excitement of the recent jerk off session.

He knows he will have to face what he just did, because what if it wasn’t just Marc? What if it was men in general? Could have he been bisexual? To be fair he was a bit scared to know, what if Vale or one of the guys found it disgusting? what if his family did?

Could’ve he kept that secret for long?

He doesn’t think so, honestly he’s scared of loosing both families at once for something like that.

No no, he ultimately decided.

If he understands he likes guys he’s going to keep it for himself.

It’s going to be better for everyone that way

How I push through writing when I don't feel like writing.

Here are some of the techniques that I use to help me write more often or more consistantly when my laziness/depression/anxiety starts to take over.

I watch TV. I don't do it with the purpose of zoning out though. I watch something popular and well-liked such as the LOR or Harry Potter to get new ideas on how I can develop my story and apply their in-depth world-building ideas to help develop mine. Without plagarizing of course!!!!

Zoning out and daydreaming. As I have mentionned before, daydreaming is a huge part of my story outlining and world-building process. I'll stand in the shower, or take a walk and think about how my charcaters would act/react/behave in situations, mundane or not. Doing this gives me a better sense of my characters, and sometimes gives me ideas for scenes I use later on.

Work on writing related projects. These work well at keeping me distracted while still being productive on my writing goals. Example, I have one story I am working now, I made a new language (alphabet and numbers included) to include as a cool and fun component for the book. So, at times when I don't wan't to write, I continue creating the dictionary (very fun, 8/10 would recommend). Also, for the same book, my characters don't work off the Georigian calendar and 24 hour clock, so I've been working at creating a new calendar (harder than it seems, 2.5/10 dont recommend). These are side projects that help my story, without having to write.

Reading. You saw this one coming, I know. Reading is great, especially when you're editing, your writing style will unconsciously change to be more similar the author you were just reading. Also, most importantly, I'll be reading and think, "this story is really good, but you know what story I like even better? Mine." then change to writing.

This one is my biggest life saver!! I learnt about a year ago that sometimes I'll get bored of writing a story, and have difficulty keeping on track. That's why I finished my first book in 2016 and just started editing the first draft last week. The solution for me was to work on multiple projects at once, because it was much harder to be bored of multiple stories. I stick to 2, but will sometimes add a third. This is easy for me, because I have a list of over a dozen series I want to write. Don't abandon one project for another, use them as a distraction/ motivation for each other, so you're always furthering at least one project. I've never heard someone say, "oh no, i accidentally worked on this other writing project for three months instead of the other writing project I was doing. Dammit." No, we're just happy we have written something. Be sure to have well outlined story lines before starting, don't just start writing randomly or you'll reach a point where you don't know where to go from there.

Author/ writer projects. Maybe this is building a following, or community to share your projects and engage with. Tumblr, Insta, Reddit, whatever it is. My hope this year is to start up my website to offer publishing services (editing, graphic design, short writing courses) and build a following as a writer. (See what I did there? Never a bad time to self-promote ;) ) Having your own projects like this will help you in the future when you're going to try to publish and sell your books!

Talk with friends and a writing community. Never underestimate the passion that will burn inside you when talking about your story, or when others are talking about theirs. Surrounding yourself with a positive writing community can be the best thing for you as a writer.

Write or read (your story) every day. I'm not going to be one of those people that say you need to write 1000 words a day, that's a lot. But maybe try for 100? That could maybe only take 5 minutes, and at the end of the year that's still over 36 thousand words of a novel. Or just read your story, and I've always found it helped me get in the creative mood.

Make a playlist of songs that remind you of your characters, your story, or just puts you in the mood to write. Then play it ONLY when you're having trouble writing. Playing it while writing will not help, you'll get annoyed with the songs.

Just really can't do it today? That's okay, take a break. You deserve it. There's always tomorrow.

Grouping these all together because a whole bunch of things happened today and there is a lot to talk about. For those who haven't seen, Georgia posted an Insta story of the sunset, which was followed by an extremely similar picture/Insta story from AL about an hour later. Shortly after that, Anna posted another story of Lyra and Birdie baking side by side, which Georgia also reshared:

Right off the bat, one thing in particular stood out about AL's story: Her using the hashtag #bakingwithsheenant, which differs from the tags she and Georgia normally use (#Sheenbergnants or something to that effect). It especially caught my attention because "Sheenant" is one of the ship names used in the fandom for Michael/David (though it is not a term I normally use). AL could have easily been referring to Lyra and Birdie in the photo, of course, but...of all the portmanteaus and hashtags AL could have chosen, she went with that one, and all I can say is that if it was nothing more than a fluke, then it was one hell of a fluke for her to make.

As if all this weren't enough, however, we then have what @phantomstars24 has mentioned, which is another story that Georgia shared just a little while ago:

To what was said in the Asks above, if this is true, it would absolutely mean that Michael and David are also neighbors, and that my head feels like it's slightly melting. Because there is no way in hell Michael bought a house in London next to David by accident. A meteorite has a better chance of hitting the Earth and bringing back the dinosaurs as our reptilian overlords than that does of being an accident.

Also if Michael and David are together as part of some poly arrangement, I can't think of a better way for them to ensure that they can see each other all the time. The number of possibilities are limitless: Random sleepovers, snuggling on the couch for movie date night, unwinding with a glass of red wine after they've had a long day doing their respective plays. Thinking as well of how we saw Michael and David looking at each other at opening night of Macbeth, now the chances of them going home together afterward have shot up by about a million, and I can hardly get my mind around it. I mean...dear God...

As for Georgia's "So linked!" sounding sarcastic, I could definitely see that as sarcasm. The sunset pictures from earlier seemed very planned, and even more so once we saw the baking picture. I saw some reactions from fans calling AL and Georgia "besties" once the Insta stories were posted, but I'm not exactly sure how those posts make them besties. The way Georgia posts about Anna is entirely different from how she posts about Jennie Fava, whom we know actually is one of Georgia's longtime best friends, so that difference makes it difficult for me to see why people see Georgia/AL in that light.

And if they are frequently getting together because of that proximity/because it is easier for Michael and David to have one house to themselves while AL, Georgia, and the kids are in another, I could see some degree of resentment existing on Georgia's end, especially if she feels like more of a babysitter than anything else. It's difficult to say for certain, of course, but we also have so many instances now of Anna copying Georgia on social media that I would imagine it has started to feel like a bit of a "me and my shadow" routine.

In any case, we have a lot of little pieces here that only give us a small glimpse at the whole, but boy, are they some very interesting pieces indeed. I think what strikes me most about all of this is that these stories also allude to Michael and David spending time together, yet we never actually see any pictures of them. (I have an Ask related to this waiting in my inbox, so I will expand more on that in a bit.) But we are being given room to think that, and to draw certain conclusions as a result, and I think both Georgia and AL know that and seemingly do not have a problem with it.

So yes, those are my thoughts on all the developments from today. Glad as always to hear from my followers and what your thoughts are on all this...

How to explain JK & JM and their endless coincidences?

Easy really, none of them are coincidences.

I'll admit that I'm not the quickest at reacting to what's going on around me. My poor ND brain takes a while to absorb it all and put the pieces together, but then I can't stop thinking and thinking and thinking about all those puzzle pieces.

Gotta get those thoughts out of my head to make room for new ones LOL... so here they are.

Everything is not a coincidence 🎶

I hear Jimin singing this in my head.

No, of course its not.

We've seen how intricately they plan their cocepts, outfits, stages and releases. We saw it in detail with the Artist Made Collection and the Photo Folios. The processes they went through were thorough and thoughtful. They considered everything.

For Jimin and Jungkook, aligning their message is nothing new. For years they've been coming out in matching clothes, jewelery, and accessories - including the cute and silly matching Pororo bandaids at the puma fansign in 2016 when neither of them had an injury (JK's idea, according to JM).

Sometimes the matching outfits are identical...

Other times the alignment is more subtle....

But it's so frequent, we barely comment these days.

When they aren't matching, they're swapping. Their shared wardrobe is legendary - especially for someone who doesn't like other people wearing his clothes (JK) and someone who has assured us they have different clothes (JM).

But I digress....

The gist is, we know they pay attention to the mesage they send with their clothes and styling.

AND...

They know WE we pay attention too - they know we notice it all. Every.Single.Thing.They.Do.

AND...

They tell us they know all the ARMY jokes and memes. They do and say things that correspond too closely to ARMY's conversations on socials to be a coincidence.

Everything is not a coincidence 🎶

So with the visual themes of their solo releases being so astonishingly similar, anyone with eyes in their head (and a moderately functional brain and heart) can't think it's accidental. And JK and JM can't possibly think they're being subtle either.

And I honestly don't think they're trying to be subtle. Not at all.

I think they are demonstrating very clearly that even when they're apart, they're together. They're always aligned*.

They share ideas, they work together (they certainly don't work in secret) and they agree on what they, together are choosing to show.

Everything is not a cooincidence 🎶

We know they've shared ideas for this because at no point has either of them shown suprise at seeing the other wearing a similar outfit, holding a similar pose, or adopting similar aesthetics. They're hyping each other's music and promo work, and sharing their pride and enjoyment with us. (JM posting on insta to celebrate JK's #1 on the hottest 100 was NOT for JKs benefiit. It was for ours 💜)

It's not a matter of who did it first or who copied...all of this they created together.

They're showing us their individual strengths and telling their own stories, but using an aesthetic framework they've planned together. The visuals overlap is enough to to unmistakablly link their narratives together without restricting their self expression.

It's genius really.

They're living their 'I am you, you are me' dream right now, but in such a way that they are also without a doubt independent individuals as well.

Personally I love this. I love them.

I love that they can contribute to one another's creative processes, each produce something wholly unique to themself, and still have visually connected stories.

One day this will become their shared history. With a brief glance, anyone who looks will be able to see how much they supported and cooperated with each other, and that they chose to reflect their personal relationship in these works.

This would be a very conscious decision - to be visibly connected, not just for the few months their solo work is on the charts but for as long as the record of BTS's existance remains.

And that will be a long, long time I am sure 💜

*They're always aligned, i believ, with regards to their goals. For their work but also in terms of their relationship.

I think they trust one another implicitly, both professionally and personally. I think they're honest but kind, and they have each others backs. They are each other's highest priority and I hope it will always be this way for them 💜

Um um um what about one where Jacob and Xolo have actress!reader on their podcast and they are just talking about acting but Jacob stares at her thebwhole time and gushes about her roles she's done before and Xolo teases him for "fanboying" over and having a crush on her?

Reader really couldn't believe that out of all people Xolo and Jacob would be asking her to be on their podcast.

She originally met Xolo for a quick moment on a big red carpet event. It was months back and it was only for a split second. She had been seated at a table next to his for the dinner part of the event. They had simply said hi and that evolved into a quick conversation before the show started.

A week later he was sending her a DM though Insta a pretty normal conversation compared to some of the other weird messages she has gotten. He just made small talk and asked some general questions. It wasn't long into their small friendship that he asked the odd question.

“Would you be cool coming into the podcast with me and Jacob? As a guest start?”

She found it a little odd but didn't see a problem with it.

Sitting up in the middle of the night in her bed scrolling along. Her eyes reread the message over again to make sure she was actually seeing it right. Thinking it over the idea did sound kinda fun. She had done interviews before of course but never a podcast. It could be kinda fun and she would also be able to hang out with what she was sure of was a good friend. With the tap of a finger she sent a message agreeing to meet up and appear on the podcast the following month.

“Uh Reader are you in there? You okay?” Xolo’s voice broke her out of the small flashback she was having. Gathering her thoughts she nodded before looking over to the tanned man. He grinned as he started to walk into the small building. She quickly fell beside him as they made their way inside. Xolo’s smooth voice rang out “I'm so excited that you actually agreed to come on the podcast. I was kinda scared you wouldn't want to.” Reader laughed a little “Oh come on I couldn't pass up this fun experience! And plus this gives us a reason to actually meet up again, in person.” at that a switch seemed to flip on his brain.

His eyes widened for a moment as if he finally remembered something important “Oh yeah! I totally forgot that the last time we actually saw each other was when we were at that award event.” Reader nodded.

After walking around a few hallways they finally seemed to find the right door.

Before Xolo opened the door all they way he whispered “Dude Jacob is so excited to actually meet you so don't freak out if he's a little weird at first.” Reader raised a brow at him but before she could say something Xolo was pushing the door open. Walking in they were met with a pretty clean and comfortable room. It wasn't the usual set but it was very similar. The vibe was warm and friendly. A splash of oranges and reds filled the room in different things. Fuzzy red bean bags sat on the floor which had a amazing orange and red run underneath.

A few mics were laid around the room as well. A huge set of high-quality and expensive camera equipment. She could only guess that most of the other stuff behind the camera was their streaming equipment. Besides all of that stuff along with a few detective pieces, that was all the room had inside it.

Except for the person sitting in one of the chairs scrolling on his phone before looking up at them. Jacob grinned and shot up from his chair, throwing his phone back into the seat before walking over to them.

“Yo!! Man, you made it right on time I was just about to text you.” he gave the other guy a small side hug. Xolo laughed at his excitement saying “Yeah it's no big deal, I was just waiting for Reader to get here. I wanted to make sure she was able to find her way here. Didn't want her getting lost or anything, plus it gave up a minute to talk.” Jacob only blinked at him. His grin disappeared and was pulled into more of a small smile with a hint of flatness. The look made Reader want to say something but the words caught in her throat.

She had never meet Jacob before and almost all of what she knew about him was from Xolo. Colo talked about him quiet a bit in their texts to each other. It was pretty normals seeing as the two where such good friends and had been on the same show and set for so long now. Their friendship seemed sweet. She couldn't deny that in some of her free time she had sat down and watched a few interview clips of the two friends together. Their friendship was strong and she loved that for them.

Seeing Jacob in person was a whole new experience for her. She didn't exactly expect to feel what she was now feeling. Her cheeks heated up a little at the new feeling of closeness between them.

Jacob was both cute and hot all at once. He was extremely attractive up close and personal. Maybe it was just different then looking at him in some pictures or in a few videos online. Seeing him up close made her see a lot more. His eyes, his nose, ears and brows. All of those stuck out to her in a good way.

In some way her mind tried to rip those thoughts from her consciousness.

Two sets of eyes were on her and for once she felt a little nervous.

In a weak attempt to get the attention off of her for a moment she interjected into their conversation “So are you guys ready to sit down and record this thing?” both boys grinned at her and nodded.

Reader couldn't stop laughing at the boys and their silly games. The two were constantly cracking jokes throughout the stream. Every weird little comment and joke had her stomach twisting up in laughter. She had to cover her face for a minute as they all busted out laughing at something Jacob said a moment before.

The laughter slowly died down and soon they were all sitting in a nice calm atmosphere.

“So Reader now that we are getting into this, what has been your favorite role so far?” Xolo asked. Reader gave a small hum before thinking back to all of her past film roles. One of her favorites came to mind but before she could say it Jacob was blurting out his own answer.

“Mine had to be your character Missy from Sweet Dreams with Love. Amazing acting on your part and you pulled it off perfectly. I watched it like fine times, it's one of my favorite movies too.” his voice filled with a hint of excitement. Readers fave heated up a little bit. That was such a old movie that she had stared in. It was actually one of the first gigs she ever got.

Xolo leaned over in his chair a little “Oh so you know some of Reader's work then?” he said into the mic.

Jacob snorted saying “Yeah, Sweet Dreams with Love, Voice from Above, Ran Faster, She Sleeps at Dawn. I even watched that one show, Meet me at Freddy's that she was in for a while.” his voice started ti get a little more pitched as he went on “Her character type that she plays is just so good, and she plays them perfectly in my opinion. When I hear she's in something new I always just hope she's playing the same character type because it fits her as an actress so perfectly.” he sat back in his seat.

Readers face felt like it was now on fire with what she had just heard.

She couldn't believe that Jacob was a fan of her work like that. Hearing him talk about her and even the work she had been in made her feel all bubbly inside. She didn't expect him to name so many movies and tv shows. A feeling of warmth sped through her chest at the new information.

Xolo laughed loudly while putting his hands up “Wow okay so apparently our boi Jacob might just be a super fan guys. I'm learning something every day with this guy.”

“Don't make it sound weird man-”

“No no for Reader’s sake I will stop before you start fanboying again. You might start drooling on her or something, or worst try and hunp her leg in the studio. I don't want to see that and I doubt out views do either.” Xolo says pointing at the camera with a smirk. Jacob slumps back with slightly pink cheeks. His eyes rolling as he looks away from them for a split second. He's right back to his regular self only seconds later, cracking a joke not even a minute latter and making them laugh.

The rest of the show is spent talking and joking, having a good conversation about Reader's life and career.

But all that talking doesn't stop Reader from feeling all warm. Her eyes strayed from Xolo and the camera a bit too much. Instead they found their way to Jacob. Watching every slight movement he made. Like her brain was taking notes for something later. She didn't know why but the more she looked at him the more she questioned him.

She wanted to know more about him. What he liked and didn't. What his hobbies where and his favorite places to go.

She wanted to know if he really did like her characters.

Because if he truly did, then he would like her seeing as almost all of her characters were almost always tailored to herself. Every character that she ever tried to audition for was similar to her in some way. Her one flaw in acting was not being able to play characters she couldn't really relate to or channel. It was just one of her quirks.

Reader didn't really remember when the podcast ended but soon enough it was just her and Jacob left in the room.

Colo had already taken off after the stream had ended and he claimed to be going home to work on editing some stuff with it. This left her and Jacob alone. They cleaned up a bit before heading out together. The walk to the parking lot was a bit quiet. It was almost as if both of them were a bit embarrassed by what had just taken place inside. They walked side by side as they reached the main part of the lot. The silent was there and caused Reader to flake a little. Any thoughts of asking him about a thing faded. She realized that this was just a one time thing and the chance that Jacob would try to contact her again was-

“Hey so I hope me…sating all of that stuff on stream didn't creep you out. I guess I just get really passionate sometimes. I really do like your movies.” Jacob said while looking over to her. His face was serious, not like the humorous grin he was wearing almost the whole stream.

“No no! I'm actually happy that you like my work so much! It can be hard to tell sometimes if people like my acting or if they just like the movies I'm in. It's nice to know you liked, well me, in them. It's kinda refreshing I guess.” she couldn't help the small part of her that was insecure about her roles. It was hard for an actress like her to know if people liked her work due to her size sometimes. It was a pretty common topic that came up, she hated it. But it was still something she had to deal with.

Jacob seemed to almost understand where she was coming from.

“Yeah no I love you work! You do such an amazing job with your characters. Your also just a really good actress, and well a good person too I guess.” his voice cut out a little at the end. He was definitely hiding something. Reader raised a brow which had the guy every so slightly panicked.

“Okay so maybe I have watched a few interviews you have done and you were real nice. And you're super cute too so I mean you can't blame me for wanting to go watch some videos with you in them, can you?” his eyes meet hers. For a minute they just stood there looking at each other.

She couldn't help but smile at him “No I can't, that's very sweet of you.” Jacob’s look of panic eases at her words.

“Hey um why don't you take this.” Reader fumbled in her pocket for a minute. Feeling around she found what she was looking for. Pulling out a small piece of paper and shoving it into Jacob’s hand. He looks down at his hand in question. Before he could ask her what the paper was she had already started jogging away.

“Just call me okay? Or text me!?” her voice carried through the parking lot before she was out of sight. Jacob could only watch as she ran off. He looked down at his hand and flipped the piece of paper around only to find a business card with her name and number. He smirked to himself before slapping the light card around on his other palm.

He mumbled to himself “And Xolo told me I was being too much of a fanboy, well fanboy got the girls number so…” he laughed a little, giving the empty parking lot one last look before heading home for the day.

I hope the people I already sent this to don’t mind if I talk about it here, but I’ve been thinking about it the past couple days and it’s been bringing me joy 🖤

so the other day I was scrolling through pinterest (man there’s like. a couple people I haven’t introduced on this blog who just exist as pinterest boards rn. need to get on that) and I found this screengrab:

and I mentioned to some friends that like, Maxi would consider this in red or black first and foremost, but he would definitely be absolutely enchanted with the idea of wearing this silhouette to y’all’s wedding (non-church affiliated TM).

like I imagined you’d be scrolling through your own wedding ideas on insta or pinterest or, god, even here, and though initially you were just idly scrolling by, his pupils would expand like a cat’s and his breath would audibly catch as soon as he saw this image:

Final Them: “Do you… like it, babe?”

Maxi: “…Swishy. @A@“

which, of course, would mean that either a. a similar suit was ordered immediately to his usual tailor, or, b. being the best seams-person of the family, Rora found one of his old masquerade suits and decided to add a train like so.

at the fitting he looks so giddy on the pedestal in front of the mirror that Rora and Hex are just sitting off to the side observing like:

Hex: “I can’t even tease him, look at that face.”

Rora: “You think if we told him he could wear it every day, he’d get the stick out of his ass?”

like. Maxi is already someone who wants to be more visibly queer/gnc but, due to growing up in small-town Louisiana in the ‘80s-‘90s and living with his specific brand of insane parents (with Vincent himself being deeeeep in the closet), never got to explore it as much as he wanted. (save for that one glorious evening he got to be Frank as a last minute understudy in a Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast, but that’s a post for another time)

so even though he’s elated, there’s definitely a moment before the wedding where he turns to you in a fit of nerves:

Maxi: “I don’t know, is it too gay? Are you gonna feel weird, standin’ up there next to me, in that?”

FT: “Maxi, we… we are gay, babe. Like. We are gay. It’s perfectly okay if you look gay at our wedding. We’re getting married, to each other, and we’re gay. You wear whatever you want, as long as you’re up there with me, okay?”

Maxi: “Oh. …Well, yeah, when you put it that way I guess. :’D”

and for the record, on the big day:

he looks amazing, you look amazing in something Rora tailored for you with just as much love though she’ll never admit that to your face, Hex is trying to be the best man and the wedding photographer and not cry all over you/Maxi/his lens, and all the little old ladies of the Greymoon Historical Society agree they’ve never been to a wedding so modern and obviously queer “avant-garde” before.

Recap:

Giada was Charles’ gf for 4 years (met through school) she was still with him when he got signed for Ferrari (2016) Giada’s friend (speculation of if they were friends or best friends still going on) was Charlotte. They did hang out a bit and were always on each others Insta stories but not consecutively but they did portray online as very close. Also Giada was very close with all the Leclerc family, she would attend holidays/hang with his brothers/ and was close with his mom (or got along with her well)

Then one day Giada posted on insta “Charles broke up with me to focus on his Ferrari career” on Instagram.

TWO WEEKS later Charlotte & Charles become insta official!!! so there’s speculation of cheating either physically or emotionally. So Giada looses a best friend and her boyfriend. And clearly the reasoning Charles gave Giada was not the truth because if he had to focus on his career then why get a new gf two weeks later & why is it one of her friends??? There’s speculation Charles maybe cannot be single [x] this tik Tok is his birth chart break down (if you’re into that) but it basically says “he will be a bachelor for a long time” but that can present in different ways so my take is he needs someone like a gf but doesn’t need to be all in, just a space filler if you will. Also no hate to Charles he’s literally my love. Also now when Charlotte goes on holidays with the families the pap pictures (which people believe Charlotte calls the paps or they both do lol to get photos together) but the photos always look awk & like Charlotte isn’t close with the family like Giada was.

Now Charlotte tea:

She has scammed people by selling alliexpress (a knock of online store) jewelry sets at real jewelry prices. She currently has her Etsy shop back up & reviews continue to say “items not like pictured”

She also will post ads & promotes herself right when Charles wins races so she has the most opportunity for reach & views. Exhibit A There is also a theory she’s a tax evader lol cause her father works for (may own not for sure) hotels//casinos in Monte Carlo which happens to be a place many wealthy people can get away with tax evasion but that’s her family so she may not be the one doing it lol.

And lastly TW!Weight talk TW!food Charlotte has also upset many of her followers (she also has a large amount of young gals following her) about the way she talks about “all the weight I’ve lost” or sharing a “what I eat in a day” that shows unhealthy eating habits. Nothing is wrong with posting these things or speaking about weight loss but the way she goes about it has the connotation of being better because of the changes not about being healthy.

Giada update/tea:

I’ve recently found out Giada has interesting (to say the least) family members (Her cousin) have been described as hateful and have said things publicly that they should have not. [X] here is a link to an old ask where someone explains it all perfectly!! Also she now has a new boyfriend they seem very happy together BUT he follows Charles & Charlotte on Insta & it is speculated they have had to be in the same room with Charles and Charlotte at hang outs (oh to be a fly on the wall for that lol) Giada has also been accused or speculated for having misogynistic views.

In conclusion:

There has also been issues with Charlotte copying if you will multiple things about Giada. Like similar dresses for events & such. But people say it’s become they have the same stylist or now Charlotte has Giada old stylist (Giada left, Charlotte right)

My Review of Powerless by Lauren Roberts

Hello everyone! It’s my first review of 2024! I have once again fallen victim to the influence of BookTok and read Powerless by Lauren Roberts, after not being able to escape it being recommended to me by essentially everyone and their mother. And this time they’re onto something, they have not disappointed me with this one.

Powerless follows Paedyn Gray, an Ordinary, someone without any powers in a society where being Ordinary is a crime punishable by death, surviving the slums of Ilya by pretending to be a Psychic and stealing to stay alive. One day she unknowingly saves one of the princes and is forced to participate in the Purging Trials, a brutal competition to showcase the powers of the Elite, powers she doesn’t have, while managing to not get caught lest she be killed when they find out what she really is.

Let’s get a couple of things out of the way, first this book is marketed as an enemies to lovers story, which it isn’t. Paedyn and her love interest, Kai (because of course his name is Kai) are rivals in the Trails by circumstance, but like they both take a liking to each other immediately. I saw someone call it insta-love which, sure, but I wouldn’t go that far per se, but there isn’t really an “enemies” thing, Paedyn just dances around the fact she likes Kai for most of the book and this dude is smitten almost immediately. So, sorry to disappoint you all with that one. There is romantic chemistry pretty immediately, but they do have some fist fights and hold knives to each other’s throats also so if you’re into that, wink wonk.

Second, this book is marketed as a mixture of Red Queen and The Hunger Games, which like, I guess. The comparison to The Hunger Games isn’t completely accurate, I mean there are games that can result in death but people dying isn’t a requirement, there are people who participate in the Trials and lose but also stay alive. The comparison to Red Queen though, is very on the nose, if you liked Red Queen and wanted to read a world with a near identical magic system and a very similar plot progression, this is the book for you. I’m saying this as a fan of Red Queen, it is one of my favorite series of all time, but there were a lot of mirrors between it and Powerless, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it is something you should be aware of.

I think my biggest complaint with this book was how the magic system wasn’t really explained in depth, there were different classifications between the different types of powers, each had its own cute little name like they do in Red Queen. People with super strength are called Brawnies, or teleporters are called Blinks, or those who can control plants are Blooms (just off the top of my head). While we are told that the plague is what gave certain people cool abilities and fancy hair colors, we don’t really know much else. At least in Red Queen we know that people inherit their father’s power, but in Powerless they don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason. For example, Kitt has a dual ability, cool, why? He’s the only person we know of that has two abilities and everyone is very chill about this though it is out of the norm and never explained. Kai is a Wielder, meaning he can use anyone’s ability if they’re in range, which is mildly related to Kitt’s ability if you think really hard about it and it makes sense since they’re brothers, but their dad is Brawny? You’ve lost me there. Also, what made certain people have abilities and others be Ordinary, why are Ordinaries still being born, like how does that work genetically if both their parents have abilities. I don’t know, maybe it’s just a me thing where I’m thinking too hard about it, but I do honestly hope that the rest of the series goes into this a bit more since I crave answers. This was probably done on purpose, and we’ll get Ordinary lore further down the line and lore about abilities as a whole, which is a selling point to get you to keep reading, but I would’ve appreciated a small bit of lore as I read. I shouldn’t have had this many questions about the magic system while reading since it did pull me away from the story a bit.

I did enjoy the book despite my mild complaints, the story was entertaining enough for me to keep me reading even though I could essentially predict what was going to happen next since it follows a very basic YA plot progression and the characters were, mostly, fun to read about. Honestly, for a debut book, it was fairly well written, and I don’t have very many complaints on the writing style outside of the typical cliches, but I’m reading a YA book so I cannot complain. Overall, it was very enjoyable, though nothing groundbreaking, and I plan on reading the sequel when it comes out later this year, I give it an honestly pretty decent entertainment out of ten.

Spoilers!!

Normally I start the spoiler part of my review talking about something negative, but I have decided, new year new me, for now, and I’ll talk about something that I liked. I did enjoy the emphasis on the eye colors, which at first is super annoying because you’re like “omg can they stop talking about each other’s eyes we get it” but as the book goes on the eye color becomes super important. When Kai first meets Paedyn, he’s fascinated by how blue her eyes are and she always talks in detail about his gray eyes, while when she meets Kitt she can’t look him in the eyes since he has his father’s green eyes and Paedyn’s father was killed by the king so she sees the eyes of a killer whenever she looks at Kitt. As the story goes on, Paedyn is able to look Kitt in the eyes and starts to see them as his eyes, not his father’s cruel eyes and slowly starts to associate the green eyes with Kitt and not her father’s killer. But then right at the end we learn that it wasn’t actually the king who killed Paedyn’s dad, but Kai, and Paedyn’s dad was the first person he ever killed. So then the whole thing is flipped on its head! Paedyn realizes she had been hallucinating the king killing her dad (which like I get the trauma, but she was too weird about the green eye thing for me to just pretend she had never seen the king before but I’m not going to worry about it) when it was actually Kai. She had spent the whole book lovingly staring into the eyes of her father’s killer, and we find out in Kai’s bonus chapter that he took note of Paedyn’s dad’s blue eyes as he killed him and then was practically writing poems about Paedyn’s eyes. And then Kitt is for sure there.

Speaking of Kitt, I’m excited to see him enter his villain era, though poor guy just doesn’t know what’s going on which is honestly a type of villain that is underrated. Unlike Red Queen where you could tell pretty immediately that the goal the entire time was to get rid of the monarchy, it’s a bit more ambiguous in Powerless because Kitt is genuinely a nice guy who wants to do better but unfortunately his dad was assassinated and he’s a little confused. There is honestly a lot of room for his character to develop and I think that’s what I’m most looking forward to in the next one.

I do have to complain though, because this is who I am as a person. The thing that annoyed me the most was the love triangle (which if this isn’t your first time here you know about my hatred for love triangles) but this one specifically since it’s between two brothers, which is just icky. To paraphrase myself in one of my Goodreads updates (shameless plug) if I had a nickel for every time I read a book where a love triangle involves a pair of half-brothers, I’d have three nickels which isn’t a lot but I’m a little annoyed it’s happened three times. I honestly cannot put my finger on as to why I hate it so much, maybe because it has an incest-y vibe about it, but I just do not like it Sam I am.

Not to keep word vomiting, I will stop there, but I am honestly willing to talk more about Powerless if you jump into my asks, I did very much enjoy the book despite all my complaining. I could also go into a whole thing where I compare it to Red Queen if anyone asks me nicely because I do have thoughts about that, but this is not the space for it. I cannot wait for Reckless and am very excited to see where the story takes us next!

I think Mario and Luigi's relationship wouldn't change too much in mind and soul, but Mario sure wouldn't have as much free time as he does now, considering he'd be taking over both his and Luigi's responsibilities. Luigi would of course do his best to support his brother and help him, but Mario wouldn't want to let Luigi get involved in Kingdom's matters the same way anymore. One of the things Mario would be getting himself crowned king would be to "free" Luigi of his responsibilities and give him more free will to do what he wants. The next big story addresses this subject.

Yes, it will be canon that the parents return. The reunion, however, is still a little lost to me, I've already changed plans like 5 times now :')) I do have a better idea of how things go, but yes, the Queen and King of Mushroom Kingdom will be appearing in the next big story!

Mario and Peach go jogging together early in the mornings! I can imagine them baking or something too (one of the scrapped ideas of the short stories was to be about Mario having a midnight snack with the Head Chef and Peach would've joined them. They would've been making pizza rolls; it was supposed to be one of King Paolo's favourite foods!) In this AU, I think Daisy would rather hang out with Mario than Luigi; Luigi is kind of BFF with Peach, in a way they have a similar relationship to what Mario and Peach have, but Luigi and Peach's is purely platonic. Daisy would maybe rather hang around with Mario, but their relationship is a little complicated. It's mutual respect for each other, but Daisy is also very worried about Peach and Mario is often the target of Daisy's scolding when it comes to that. Still, Mario considers Daisy a good friend and person to have in his life.

You should contact him and ask to do a collab” you looked at the person who made it, ‘Wilbur soot’ you heard of him before so decided to give it a try.

You and your friend sat down on the couch as she watched you pull out your phone and pull up his Insta. You opened messages and began to type:

‘Hey Wilbur! You may not know me and that fine, I’m a/n. You’ve probably heard of me or not but I make songs like, s/n, s/n, and s/n those are my more popular ones. Well let me get to the point, do you wanna make a collab? We make similar music and I think it was be amazing, you don’t have to respond to this but it would be amazing if you did! -a/n’

You turned to your friend who was more beamed than you were.

A few days later..

You listend to Wilbur’s music here and there and noticed how good it was, ‘no way he would reply’ you thought as you suddenly got a notification as you were on your phone and clicked on it. Your face beamed as you read it. It was a reply from Wilbur?!

‘Hey! Sorry it took me almost a week to answer your reply, I’ve been busy with my first gig. But I would love too! We can meet up at ***** street in a bit if your free? Unless your not in brighton’

You quickly typed a reply:

‘No I live there! Is 20 minutes ok? I’m a complete mess right now lol’

‘Yeah ofc! See you there’

You squealed as you immediately went to go get ready and meet up with Wilbur. You put on something casual and did your normal routine as you soon after hurried out the door. You wanted to be there a bit early not wanting to be rude. Thankfully the place he mentioned was near your house and was a cafe so you didn’t have to worry about him being sketchy. When you got there you saw him there too, apparently you both were early not wanting to set a bad first impression.

“Hi Wilbur!” You said as he looked to his side to see you, “hello a/n!” You guys had a slight small talk before walking into the cafe and sitting down. You both chatted away about the whole collab and the whole song writing part writing down ideas in both your notes app. You talked and ordered food also getting to know each other as well and the secret behind some of your guys popular songs and inspo.

After a while you guys thought it was time to wrap it up to for the day and planned to meet up again the day after tomorrow. You guys stood in front of the cafe about to part ways. “Wait!” Wilbur said before you officially left, “can I get your number?” You smiled and handed him your phone with your number area already related for him to type in his own. “Thanks” he smiled as you nodded and started to walk away, “oh and Wilbur” you said turning around, “call me y/n :)” finally you officially walked away leaving him watching you fade into the distance.

I’m just curious about the au since it seems like a really fun idea

YES! “Evil Curse” is now renamed to “Evil Force” BTW since it sounded cool :o) but yeah it is influenced by stands from JJBA. It was really hard to figure out what kind of power systems would slashers have and I think that having like a ghost manifestation power system sounded a bit cool since I guess a lot of spiritual stuff happens in horror movies. Fred (Frederick) has his own Evil Force called the “Dream Demons” allows him to enter any persons dream within 30 meters :o). There are some specific users who possessed the Evil Force so I won’t tell who ehehe.

About the Stu thing! I wanted Billy’s story to go out a very tough one. First we see in the scream movie we see him in a relationship with Sidney (which later in the ending ig he’s not) but in this au I kinda want to show like some of the situations and problems Billy is kinda in with Sidney, some kind of argument or relationship issues or something like that. But with Stu, Billy is afraid that Stu would getting the risk of getting killed by the Deadites, so ig Billy might’ve cut contact with Stu and never heard of him again. But I love the head canon between Billy and Stu as a love interest tho!! I think it’s neat! 💖💖 :o)

My concert report: Blind Channel – Sick & Dangerous European Tour 2022 – Nürnberg (04.09.2022)

So as I am writing this it is 02:42 in the morning, and I should probably be asleep because I will do this whole thing again in munich tonight. But I can’t sleep, I promised @another-sun this report (btw thank you so much you actually helped me so much aswell with my concert), and I think I have to do this for myself aswell to actually process this whole concert. Really wtf was that…

So I have to mention the days leading to the concert, I was more and more nervous about something happening that would have prevented me from going. Like what if the person that goes with me can’t anymore, what if I get sick, what if they get sick, …. So when the day finally came yesterday I kind of couldn’t believe it, I still can’t to be honest…

On the drive to the concert which took like one and a half hours we listened to Blind Channel songs, and I ranted about my nervousness, and we talked about Blind Channel. The person coming with me wasn’t a big BC fan, but I kind of got her into the music. The funny thing was that when I told her about Joel’s love for Germany he sent that insta post where he mentioned he wanted to move here. Perfect timing Joel...

We were there at 5 in the afternoon, two hours before the doors opened, because of my crazy concert brain. The person who went with me didn’t want to sit there for so long so I went alone to join the already waiting fans. Because I didn’t want to stand there alone I tried to talk to the people before me, which happened to be two finish girls/woman and one girl/woman from the US. We didn’t really hit of but that was okay. While i was sitting there I also noticed how tall all the people there were, and panicked a bit, I also kind of felt out of place for some reason… When it was time for the doors to open for us not VIP people, there were some people that were there after us but kind of got in line in front of us which also was a bit frustrating…

But after I went into the venue my whole night changed. I somehow saw this space right in front/next to the stage on Joonas side of the stage. But it was also kind of weird because it was also an open way to walk behind the stage. (And I saw several band members from different bands in that hall during the night, also had some BC crewmembers walked past me, and I think some of the bandmembers of the two acts before Blind Channel also used that way to go to the merch stands, but I can’t say that for sure anymore) I also had a clear view of the backstage door on the other side of the stage (and I saw several band members from different bands standing there or walking past the door aswell. For example I saw Niko when Joonas did that story of him, I saw Tommi and Joonas walk past that door several times, and I am pretty sure I also saw a shirtless Joel walking past the door but again can’t be 100% sure about that) I asked the girl standing next to me if I she thought I was even allowed there and she said yes. There had been a similar set up at the show in Dresden apparently and there were also people standing there. We also talked a bit about moshpits, and stagediving, and I got some great advice about where to stand at my Electric Callboy concert in Leipzig next year.

Then Oceans came on stage. I actually haven’t really had the time/motivation to look into their stuff beforehand. And I kind of took their performance as my time to get used to standing where I stood. I have never been front row at a concert… But they were great, and I will definitely check out some more of their stuff.

Then after a break Lost Society came on, who I checked out before and liked, but also didn’t have the time to look into deeper. And that performance was just unbelievable… I sometimes caught myself standing there with eyes closed and kind of headbanging, or just wipping my head around to the beat, idk… And I swear Samy smiled at me several times, I think I even have that on video. So Lost Society you have definitely gained a fan now…

And last but not least Blind Channel. I don’t even know what I should say, or where to start. I waited for so long for this concert, and I was so worried about it, but this was so worth it. It was the best concert of my life. Seeing them up close was so surreal. They were all exactly like I saw them on videos before. Joel was smiling so much and I think kind of emotional at the end (I can’t remember for sure anymore). Aleksi did all that crazy stuff he usually does (and hearing him talk live just hits different). Then Joonas energetic self (I heard him scream stuff to the audience so often without microphone, his whole part of thank you for the pain, and again hearing him talk to the audience just hit differently). Olli was so intense (the stares, the moves,...) but also seemed really happy. I didn’t get much from Tommi sadly since there was always someone in the way but I screamed extra loud whenever he got on stage, and he is just sooooo tall. And him and Aleksi were just great together. And last but not least Niko…He was just sooo Niko…I really love them all…

Since I stood so close I kind of filmed a bit to much I guess. But there were also many songs were I didn’t, and I didn’t do every song fully (just one or two actually). But I just had to use the opportunity to get some memorys from them, and I really wanted to capture them all individually (well as individual as you can). I didn’t really get a good angle to capture them all at once I think.

I have to say again that this was the best concert of my life. I sung/screamed my soul out, I tried this headbanging thing, I jumped (I also filmed while jumping twice, really strange videos...), and I just enjoyed every second of it. I still can’t realize this whole thing has happened, and tonight I will definitely just enjoy seeing them without filming much. Probably wont get this view again anyways…

Some random facts in the end…

…There was this box thing right in front of me, which I leaned against often. And Samy from Lost Society stood on there, Aleksi stood on there more than once, Joel also did stand there, and Joonas as well. I really just could have touched them if I wanted to, they were so close… But I don’t like touching people that I don’t know personally, and I wouldn’t want someone to do that with me, so of course I didn’t. (I also have video proof of that, maybe I will just throw some pictures together in the next days)

…The security guy was great. He came to stand by that entrance thing to walk behind the stage when Lost Society came on. And he was just so nice and funny. Said things like „at least people are having fun“ when the crowed started singing along to everybody while waiting for BC. He was also really happy that it was so peaceful. But whenever someone stood on this box thing he had his hands on there as well, I guess to do something if people got to out of line. I am just really happy that I made his day easy tbh...

… Again I can’t get over Joonas and Aleksi talking live. I mean I heared them talk before but it just was so different live.

… I was really afraid of the moshpits before going into the venue and securing my safe spot. There were several girls saying they were going to push people in, and ramble about their injuries they got in them. I think I would have immediately panicked in there.

… I was also worried I will never be able to hear again after the concert, after some girl mentioned she had to put ear plugs in her ears for concerts like that because she almost became deaf from one concert. But my ears survived, and it wasn’t bad at all.

… And how the hell did Aleksi, Olli, Joel, Joonas and the Blind Channel account on instagram (so Joel again probobly) actually check out my storys on there. I actually tried to get them individually, because I just wanted to show my appreaciation I guess.

…And last but not least, I did not faint from the heat. I didn’t at all. Really happy about that. But it was the place where I stood I guess.

...Ohhh and Joonas and Niko had a little Timebomb moment at the end of the song. But they just stood together really, with Niko having his arm over Joonas shoulder.

Sorry me back again. I don’t get to normally chat like this, so unfortunately you’re receiving my wild theories.

I think, and this is just me living in delulu land that in RB’s mind that having Daniel lends an air of credibility and/or prestige. Like you said it’s the same idea of putting Hamilton into a Hass. The car might be shit and the team might be shit but that’s still going to be Lewis Hamilton driving it. It’s going to A.) boost the development of the car B.) boost the image of the team. We saw something similar happen with Vettel and Aston Martin. (That’s part of the reason that AM started out the year so strong, but that’s a whole other soapbox😂) So from a business standpoint if I’m trying to convince everyone (including investors) that AlohaTauri is NOT a junior team that I use to filter out my rookies before giving them a chance at a full seat at RB you want someone like DR3. It’s also theoretically beneficial to have some that knows what a race winning car drives like, and to be able to give that feedback. Based off what I’m seeing so far, I’d really like to see Yuki/DR3 at AF for 2024, give it a year and let them develop a decent car. Slot Lawson into the 2025 season with some that is upper midfielder so he has his time to really shine. Let DR3 head to RB to hopefully keep MV1 interest and not destroying another rookie. I would really hate to see Lawson go the same way as Albon/Gasley/Sainz. Yes they bounced back but I don’t think it’s really fair to Lawson to put him throw that. MV1’s current contract ends in 2027, and with the way he’s already talking about retirement that would give Lawson a prime seat up for the taking.

Also as far as the Williams seat, I’m still not sure about that one. I really think James is going to do whatever they can’t to give him another year. But they’ve also come out and said they would have liked Sargent to have had more experience. Also Wolff has supposedly been pushing hard for Schumacher to take that seat if it were to come open. And with how intertwined the 2 companies are I’m leaning towards Schumacher getting 1st dibs; at least until Hamilton retires.

Will also 100% agree that the “staniels” did mange to make one of the most likely driver ever almost intolerable.

Maybe I'm a bit biased when it comes to lil' Liam and maybe it's me trying to get on staniels nerves because they do just the same to me with their anti-oscar and daniel is a god agenda 😂 but I get where they're coming from but from the things I've read and seen from others on here or in the comments on their insta pages, right now liam is favored but I guess we'll see how it ends up for Daniel (not wishing him the worst of the worst but I'm also not going to be delulu about his chances 😢)

going to start my own team, liam and mick amd because im hella leclerc biased as well, arthur as reserve 😂🥰
