i mainly ship jancy but i am SO down for ronance, JUST LOOK AT THEM. THE HAND GRAB? yeah. them.

It is astounding to me that this is literally a site full of analysis makers, artists, and film students, who know exactly what they want to happen in season five, and none of you have considered that we could literally just like, write the script ourselves????

Like, I have zero doubt in my mind that if we all committed to this, the season would be done long before the duffers did theirs.  

Random post, but the thing I love about Byler is that it feels like a queer ship for queer people. Usually in fandoms with big m/m ships, it's often shipped by straight people (which is fine) but sometimes in a way that comes across as a bit odd and like they're UwU-ifying queer men. And whilst I'm sure there's some Byler shippers who do that, in general it's mostly slightly depressed gay kids who kin either Mike or Will, which I love a lot.

That's not even talking about Ronance, although let's be honest, straight people never tend to get behind wlw ships anywhere as close as they do male ones.

Personally my problem with Vickie is not exactly that they’re similar, but it’s the fact that it’s so clearly forced, it doesn’t feel like there’s an actual connection, like it’s just for the sake of representation. And yeah representation is good but we just want our love to be seen the same way yk? This article explains it pretty good!

Also Robin and Vickie are similar which isn’t necessarily bad but Nancy and Robin love eachothers differences, like they complete eachother, they accept eachother for who they are, and help bring a new perspective into eachothers life’s, and I just think that’s much more beatiful <3

oh yeah! i agree with everything you said. another aspect of robin x vickie i forgot to mention earlier is that vickie’s character is severely undeveloped and it’s honestly annoying. i seriously hope they expand on her character and, if we’re lucky, manage to make her plot relevant somehow. it does feel a little forced and for the sake of representation (which doesn’t mean that the rep is bad but it’s also not amazing either). nancy and robin do complete each other! they balance each other and, like you clearly put it, give each other a new perspective. i love them as a pairing so much even if it’s just as platonic friends but i think they’d be amazing together as a romantic pairing <3 thanks again for the ask 😊!

robin with vickie or nance?

this one’s a little hard…i genuinely like ronance so much. it’s a great pairing imo. however, i wouldn’t mind robin with vickie and i actually think they’d be super cute. but, the only problem i have with them is that they’re super similar to each other, and while that’s great and all i think some more balance would be beneficial in the relationship. that’s why ronance is so great - i think nancy and robin mesh well together. robin is hyper and talks/does stuff without thinking whole nancy is more collected and confident. thanks for the ask!
