instead of eddie munson knowing he's gay, let's make him completely oblivious. he just acts like that and is obviously gay because it's who he is.

instead of nancy wheeler being oblivious to her queerness, let's have her know she was in love with barb. let's have her try to 'fix' her love by dating steve.

instead of eddie helping nancy through her queer journey, what if nancy helps eddie through his? what if nancy wheeler told him she wanted to kiss barb and jonathan and now wants to kiss robin and jonathan? what if she helps him through coming out? what if she helps him ask out steve?

I need the rojancy trio in s5 so bad

Okay but it’s canon that Eddie believes in True Love even if it’s in his own way and I think that is both beautiful and funny as fuck.

Eddie The Freak Munson believes in soulmates essentially and thinks Nancy and Steve are. He hasn’t met Jonathan from our knowledge. So there’s two routes this can go fanfiction wise if we really clutch onto this:

1. Eddie likes Steve but refuses to get between him and Nancy because it’s “true love” and he wants Steve to be happy. Cue Steve falling for a Eddie over the course of a few months and having to convince him he is an option, dammit, Steve can chose his own “true love”. This involves lots of pretending to understand DND, helping Eddie making his campaigns for the kids, concerts where the music is way too loud but also garage rehearsals where Eddie is just gorgeous in his element, and getting Eddie to teach him guitar but he’s just so bad at, “maybe you should get behind me and guide my hands👀” (Bonus points for Jancy or Ronance or even Rojancy endgame on the side)

2. Eddie realises he likes Steve and does everything in his power to convince the universe that they are destined, and that he can be Prince Charming (he ends up more of a damsel in distress with how often he’s jumping into Steve’s arms or throwing a fright trantrum) and Robin helps him because she wants Nancy so bad and if this helps her chances, she’s taking them, sorry Stevie. Steve is just confused to why Eddie keeps giving him mixtapes with acronyms that make no sense like IAYDJFITWSK

(“I adore your dumb jock face, I think we should kiss, that should get the point across, right Robin?”

“Shorten it, I’m pretty sure he failed English class.”

“Shorten it…? Oh, okay, yeah, that makes sense.” *follows instructions incorrectly and makes it harder on poor Steve*)

and growing bright bustles of flowers besides his trailer that keep making Eddie’s allergies act up. Steve does like the free flowers tho, good gift for his parents as well as Joyce, Mrs Sinclair and Mrs Wheeler.

i saw a rojance (robin x nancy x jonathan) post on twitter and i'm having very mixed opinions.. any comment?

i ship jancy but. idk. 😭 like robin's a lesbian so... it's weird to ship them together even if it is with nancy as well?? or maybe it's meant to be like nancy has two partners and jonathan and robin aren't considered to be dating, they're just dating nancy. which in that case, that's definitely better.
