Studyblr Intro!!

hi everyone!! I've been on tumblr for a few days now, and i decided to make a studyblr! i'm hoping that through this studyblr i can enjoy studying what i love, and be more productive. i'd like to make new friends in this community too! — about me + i'm kali! + i'm fourteen this year (practically a fetus) + capricorn and infp-t + i live in singapore, south-east asia, but i love travelling, especially because of all the different cultures and sights around the world! — interests + i do soccer, horse riding and ice skating + i play the cello and er-hu (chinese instrument) + producing music and videos seem really interesting to me and i'd like to try them out! + photography and videography + i actually try quite a lot of things, and like bouncing around from hobby to hobby! + kpop! especially Got7! i love music in general — study favourites! + i love learning languages; and i'm fluent in english and chinese, and i can read korean, irish, and russian! a few more languages on my list are japanese and norwegian!

+ since i'm fourteen, i haven't chosen my subjects yet, so i'm taking everything. some subjects i am definitely taking later on are: physics, biology, chemistry, geography, and history! — some studyblrs i admire

just about to put in all my events for my august monthly spread! i’m toying with different ideas for the sidebar on the right. last month i tracked my violin practice and language practice, but now i’m only tracking my violin practice. i also put in two quotes instead of one. additionally, since school’s in a few weeks, i thought it’d be a good idea to write down my resolutions for sophomore year. hopefully i’ll keep them... (mozart didn’t actually say that quote, but he does say it in the movie amadeus, in which he’s played by tom hulce.)

i. are you a morning person? I wouldn’t say that I’m a morning person. I’m more a night owl seeing as I have class at night and prefer to sleep all day.

ii. Achievement you’re most proud of? My most proudest achievement would have to be named the President (??) of my old library’s Teen Advisory Board in 2013.

iii. Favorite season and why? I love the transition period between winter and spring. All the bright colors inspire me to write more and be more productive.

iv. Which fictional character would you protect at all costs? Oooh this is a hard one but I’d have to go with Jeremy Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries. Not only is Steven R. McQueen very handsome but at times I think his character is weak (especially since I’m rewatching the series) and that he needs to get stronger.

v. Which fictional universe would you most like to live in? Yet another hard one but I would definitely pick Divergent. I would most likely be in the Candor faction because half the time I have no problem sharing the truth.

vi. Favorite teacher/professor? My favorite teachers have always been my history/geography ones especially when my freshman year teacher showed us John Green’s ( @fishingboatproceeds) Crash Course videos. Those videos made me absolutely love history.

vii. Cats or dogs? I love both and have owned both animals so I can’t choose just one.

viii. On average, how many hours of sleep do you get each night? Most of the time I’d only get two to five hours seeing as I sleep almost all day anyways.

ix. Social media (besides Tumblr) you use most often? I use Snapchat whenever I can (follow me there @/mslesterhowell) and when my phone doesn’t take up too much space from it.

x. On a scale of one to ten, how tidy are you? Honestly I’d say I’m about a seven. I have this strange fascination of organizing other people’s stuff before my own.

xi. This isn’t really a question, but describe one person you really, really love! A friend, a significant other, a family member, anyone, just talk about them! Well one person who I really, really love would have to be my six year old little brother. He’s literally growing up so fast and I’m a proud sister. He learned his sight words a little while ago, knows how to write and spell his name. Whenever I talk to him on the phone he says “I love you so so much sissy. I wish I can play games with you more often.” How cute is that? He was a brat when he was like two, but what kid isn’t a brat? Such a sweetheart and lovable little dude.

Hey study friends!

I'm back after a long hiatus under a new name -- I used to be quotestudy but I decided that I wanted a new name to come back under and hence fictionalstudy was born! I'm so excited to be back in the studyblr community and to also make some new friends on here.

Although, we should start with getting to know each other, right?

Hello everyone!
