Random Fact: Like most little kids, throughout his childhood he believed things that his father told him without question: that chewing gum would stay in his stomach for seven years if he swallowed it; that oil patches on the road were the remains of kids who didn't look both ways; that there was a chemical in pool water that would turn his urine purple if he dared to take a leak in there. He's embarrassed to admit he believed the pool chemical myth way into his teens!

It's time to get to know your Durge! Below are some "get to know you" questions about the current or favorite Dark Urge of anyone who would like to participate. As always, feel free to skip any questions that don’t strike your fancy or apply to your character by marking them with an “X”.

OC Deep Dive Questionnaire
Thank you for tagging me, @lynzishell! You are the best and I enjoyed reading about Atlas and Asher so much- their warmth and affection were so evident throughout the entire questionnaire! ❤️
For this I chose Sasha and Gideon. If anyone is interested in a different pair, I'd be glad to do it again!
Gideon: Oh, we’ve been invited to do a Deep Dive Questionnaire!
Sasha: No. It’s absurd.
Gideon: We were tagged by Asher and Atlas, though. They’re so nice!
Sasha: Buuh…Fine.
-What common/uncommon fear do they have?
Gideon: Are you scared of anything, Sasha? You have to be one of the most fearless people I know. Who walks into a vampire coven meeting like you did? You are something else.
Sasha: When I was little, my mom took me to a petting zoo and bought me feeding pellets to give to the geese; they all kept crowding me and chasing me around this pond and I thought I was going to die.
Gideon: What did you do?
Sasha: I threw all the pellets at them and jumped into the pond.
Gideon: That’s actually very scary for a young child! Did your mother have to jump in after you?
Sasha: Nooo. The pond was pretty shallow.
Gideon...How old were you?
Sasha: Like 10.
Gideon: PFFFF!
Sasha: Shut up.
Gideon: You’re so dramatic.
Sasha: What about you?
Gideon: I fear... not ever having you by my side.
Sasha: [Turning red and burying his face in Gideon’s chest]
Do they have any pet peeves?
Gideon: Hmm...Probably people who are rude, especially in public. It’s not that hard to hold the door for people or say excuse me, or turn your blinker on before making a turn.
Sasha: OMG, when people sit down at a table and keep talking to each other and when I come over to take their order, they’re like, “Oh, I didn’t get a chance to look at the menu yet.” I’m like- there are FOUR things on the menu. Just order or I will choose your food for you!
Gideon: You also dislike bad tippers.
Sasha: If I get another religious tract as a tip, someone is going to be meeting their lord sooner than they expected.
What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?
Sasha: We bought a bunch of stuff recently! We got a sofa bed and a fridge... What's one more thing?
Gideon: What about Mrs. Kachky?
Sasha: She goes where I go. She’s the only thing I have left of my mom’s.
Gideon: I'm feeling a little jealous. I think she gets more cuddles than I do...
Sasha: Awww! I’ll let you cuddle her too.
Gideon: [Inhaling deeply] I’m throwing you back into that pond.
What do they notice first in a person?
Gideon: Appearances can be deceiving. I’m more interested in seeing how people treat those they perceive as being beneath them. People often behave badly when they have any kind of power.
Sasha: I was raised in the Spice District! You think we make eye contact with people while walking around here? You keep walking- mind your business.
Gideon: Let’s combine the next two questions because I think they’re related.
On a scale of 1-10, how high is their pain tolerance? And -do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?
Gideon: I was a soldier when I was mortal and as a vampire, I’ve endured my share of attempts on my unlife: I’ve been stabbed, beaten, and I’ve escaped more than one attempt to burn me into ashes. I assess a situation before fighting. I won’t necessarily run if the odds are stacked heavily against me, but I may try to explore an alternative. I’d say I have a high tolerance. A 9.
Sasha: Me too.
Gideon: [Squinting and shaking his head]
Sasha: Okay, but in my defense that comb snagged my hair really hard- I didn’t expect that. Let’s say a 7.
Gideon: Or a 4... It’s ironic, because you won’t run from a fight. Even if you know you’ll get beaten up. It’s very paradoxical.
Sasha: In Sparta, we die like men!
Gideon: [Rolls his eyes].
Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?
Gideon: My coven is my family, and it is a fairly large one. I think I’ve been somewhat absent and disconnected from them for a while now. I do miss that closeness we shared over the decades.
Sasha: Nope. It was my mom and my dad and me. After she died, I was pretty much on my own. My dad and I haven't spoken in years.
[Gideon reaches for his hand and clasps it tightly.]
Gideon: I'm always here for you, Sasha. You're not alone.
What animal represents them best?
Gideon: [Laughs]
Sasha: PASS!
What is a smell that they dislike?
Sasha: Depending on where you are walking in this city, every once in a while you’ll catch a whiff of weed that’s just skunky-ass bad. Or pee. Or trash water on the sidewalk.
Gideon: Garlic.
Have they broken any bones? if so, how?
Gideon: Oof...I’ve broken a few. I used to ride horses when I was a soldier and had my share of bad falls.
Sasha: I broke my arm falling off a jungle gym. I was in first or second grade. It wasn’t too bad. All my friends drew on my cast and then my arm was super stinky when the cast came off.
How would a stranger likely describe them?
Sasha: Gideon? Sophisticated. And...Suede.
Gideon: Suede?
Sasha: Yeah! You know, someone like super confident and elegant...
Gideon: Did you mean...suave?
Sasha: ...Wut?
Gideon: [Quickly] Sasha is completely and devastatingly adorable and endearing.
Are they a night owl or a morning bird?
Gideon: I don’t need much sleep, but I find myself keeping hours similar to Sasha’s now.
Sasha: I stay up late when I work at the diner.
What is a flavor they hate and a flavor they love?
Sasha: This man loves the flavor of his fancy-pants whiskey.
Gideon: You forgot my favorite one: you.
Sasha: Stop it...And you hated Twizzlers.
Gideon: Why someone would eat a rope of twisted wax is beyond me. You hate fine whiskey- I'll never forget “liquid leather”. But you love junk food, which baffles me. Have some Styrofoam instead- at least it doesn't pretend to be real food.
Sasha: Heh! I got you some Tootsie Rolls and Necco candy... Can't wait to see you try those...
Do they have any hobbies?
Gideon: I love the arts. I frequented the theatre, museums, and concert halls often. I'd love to take Sasha with me sometime.
Sasha: I like walking around the city. There is always something interesting or new to see. Oh, and piling stuff into the hall closet so the contents fall down on Dima when he opens it. He falls for it. Every. Time.
Boom, surprise birthday party! how do they react to surprises?
Sasha and Gideon look at each other: No.
Sasha: Let’s say what we hate about surprise parties at the count of three. Ready? 1...2...3!
Gideon: Surprises.
Sasha: People.
Do they like to wear jewelry? if so, what is their favorite piece?
Gideon: I don’t really wear anything except for my Rolex Daytona.
Sasha: F*ck. How am I supposed to follow that? A few pizza-shaped earrings from Claire’s? They were super cute, though. Oh, and a friendship bracelet Tito made me a couple years ago. It broke off but I still have it somewhere.
Do they have neat or messy handwriting?
Sasha: Have you seen his writing? It’s like he signed the Declaration of Independence. Mine is barely legible.
What are two emotions they feel the most?
Gideon: I sense many of Sasha’s emotions, but I don’t want to put him on the spot.
Sasha: I do feel anxious and upset a lot.
Gideon: My emotions would be frustration and...Hmm...
Sasha: Horniness.
Gideon [Stares in mock surprise as Sasha snickers]
Do they have a favorite fabric?
Gideon: I like linen. It has an elegant simplicity that is timeless.
Sasha: I like flannel.
Gideon: [Playfully] Not suede?
Sasha: Oh, haha, you dick.
What kind of accent do they have?
Sasha: Do I even have an accent?
Gideon: You sound like you’re from San Myshuno. No doubt. What about me?
Sasha: You do have a pretty neutral accent, but every once in a while you’ll sound like you’re from Henford-on-Bagley.
Gideon: Well, it was more likely to hear Simlish from Henford since it is closer to where I hail from.
Sasha, imitating Gideon very hammily: Say, old chap, do you fancy a tipple of liquid leather with some freshly harvested Cheetos? No, wait- Cheeee-tooows!
[Laughing]
Sasha: Heh! I guess that wasn't so bad, after all...

#1- Liam
Which color do you hate?
“Beige. Oh my God, it's just a boring color. I thought that we were past this. Different shades of beige and brown are being used to be the ~aesthetic~ of so many people on Tiktok. Ma'am, where are you from, Boringsville??? I'm not dissing brown. Brown is a great color. But beige??? Who thought this would look nice on anything, much less everything? Why are all of your walls beige--you look like you live in a sandcastle. Man, I feel bad for Hye-Jin. Her powers appear beige! You poor thing. I have brown. An awesome color, remember. So earthly. Anyway, beige can go die with the sand in the Yukon River Basin for all I care. If I go into your house and see one beige wall, I'm leaving. A rainbow is weeping. You disgraced the rainbow. How dare you.”
If all the sounds in the world would cease to exist, which sound would you miss the most?
“I don't see the point in making me choose a favorite sound. Also, how do you know sound stopped? Ceased to exist? Sound exists as a vibration through matter. Why would that vibration suddenly stop? How do you know we didn't all just go deaf? That's a significantly more logical explanation than sound disappearing. And if you think I don't have an answer and am just avoiding the question, you're very mistaken. I'd miss people's voices. For a variety of reasons. Connection, analyzing tone, nuances of emotion or thought, even my own voice. Sure, I'd be able to learn a gesture-based language--I am not saying voice is the most important thing to hear. But considering I like a good oral debate, I would still miss it, even if it would take me time to adjust to the new mode of speaking. Next!”
What is the first rule you learned as a child?
“You are going to have to rebel and argue your way out of everything. You may or may not be able to tell, but I am a strongly opinionated person. I can make an argument out of everything. Knowing how to back stuff up with logic and facts to get your way. Push and push and push. Know your shit. If you're wondering how this was the first rule I learned, one of my first memories is refusing to eat my carrots because they were bad. I was...three and a half maybe. And I told my mom, 'if I eat these carrots, I will throw up, and then I'd have to eat more food, and you get mad when food is wasted'. I then ate carrots and threw up. Never had to eat them again.”
#2- Hye-Jin
What is one embarassing memory from your childhood that you can't shake?
“Oh, oh no. First day of class, kindergarten. I had to introduce myself in front of the class. I was so excited for my first day of class. I wore this cute little dress, my hair in high pigtails and bows. But when I stood in front of everyone else, I got so sick I threw up. I think I ate something like prune juice in the morning. My dress was ruined. Had to be walked to the nurse to change. Wore that the rest of the day.”
What would you take with you if you were trapped on a desert island for one week?
“Food, water, and shelter. Sunscreen. I'm not pale, but that doesn't mean I'll be protected from UV rays. I would like a change of clothes just so I feel clean. I wouldn't mind bringing one person along with me, but you said what, so that may not be an option. But I really think I could do it.”
What is your favorite animal?
“I actually really like snakes. They're super cool in terms of design. Love reading about them, and I have a snake themed room!”
#3- Wendy
What is your favourite animal?
“Changes depending on the day. Yesterday it was tigersharks. Today it's a water dragon. Tomorrow it may be a capybara.”
Do you have any obscure skills? What are they?
“I can basket weave. Some people think that's obscure.”
If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?
“More hours in the day so I can do what I want to do.”
#4- Wade
What is your favorite song?
“Rasputin. How can you not love that song? Mr. Brightside is up there, too.”
Do you like consuming happy, positive media, or sadder, more thought-provoking media?
“I like both. You need a balance in life. But thought-provoking in general. I like thinking about things, analyzing them. Not necessarily sadder stories, but thought-provoking.”
What is your favorite type of weather?
“I like it warm and sunny, but enough cloud coverage. The kind of weather where everything is greener, that makes you say out loud, 'it sure is a beautiful day.'”
#5- Issa
When is the last time you were afraid?
“Last week, I was staying up late working on an essay. I was home alone--something I rarely am with six siblings. It was eerily quiet. I already felt uncomfortable. I was on the phone with Alex, multitasking, so I could have someone to talk to to ease my nerves. She got up to pee, which left me alone in my living room for a few minutes. In that time, I heard a banging on our garage door. It was harsh, constant. I thought someone was trying to break in. Then as quickly as it came, it was gone. Alex got back on the line then. I would've felt much better if whatever that was happened any other time.”
Does the fear haunt you still?
“Not really. It was only a minute, maybe two. Took about an hour talking to Alex. But I stopped working on my essay for the rest of the night. Not that I didn't try, but Alex convinced me to stop when I couldn't concentrate due to my heart pounding.”
What do you do when you're afraid?
“What's with all the fear questions? Well, I usually stand my ground. I yelped a bit when that happened. I was frozen for a bit, but I actually was about to get up to check what the banging was when it stopped.”
#6- CJ
What was your favorite toy as a child?
“I had little mini figurines of a bunch of Puppets* characters. I liked them because most of my playtime consisted of me ordering them based on height. After I lined them up, I would play. I also liked burying a bunch of rubber balls in the yard, leaving them there for, like, a week, then digging them up again. My shovels were definitely a favorite. There was also some cool Alii tech thing that simulated growth of a plant. The entire life cycle, in fact. Man, that was awesome.”
What makes you laugh every time you see it?
“Issa and Alex invite us to their improv shows each Friday. Issa is the best at anything they give her. I could watch her all day. She loves putting inside jokes in her skits for me, and is great at linking back previous gags. And then Alex wins Can You Ask a Question? each time. But it's hilarious how she and Issa interact. One time, Wendy laughed harder than I'd ever seen, and she spit out her drink. Then this one asshole Ellie slipped on it during her turn. So yeah, the improv shows.”
Who is the most annoying person you know?
“Issa is annoyingly optimistic sometimes, but that's why I love her. Parker is also a bit annoying at times, but he's funny as shit, so I don't care. Gabriel is quite annoying. Everyone tells me that we're very similar, but I don't see it. Honestly, yeah, it's Ellie. I didn't want to say she was annoying cause she's mainly rude. She's constantly making fun of me for everything I do. Like she doesn't like how organized and specific I am for some reason. She asked for a pencil once, and I told her no, I have my pencils for a very specific reason, and don't let anyone else use them. I think she's hated me ever since. It's probably not as petty as that, unless it is. I don't know. Thankfully, I don't know her well enough to answer that question.”

The WIP Questionnaire
Thanks to @modernwritercraft for tagging me! Filling this out for my current WIP, cowriting with @leisureflame.
1. What was the first part of your WIP that you created?
The plot and worldbuilding drastically evolved in leaps and bounds quite a few times. The first part of the first version of this WIP that we wrote was an excerpt from somewhere near the end—but for the current version, we started with the initial meeting of the MC and the future love interest.
2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?
Runaway by AURORA—the lyrics about escape and freedom fit well with the theme.
3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?
Blad. He's a bald black chicken and the MC's brother's adopted son. He is majestic. You wish you were him.
Another favourite is Finneas, the MC's love interest. He's tall and blond and a loser, and we love him.
4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?
Fans of novels similar to Red Queen, or really any other dystopian novel, would likely (hopefully) enjoy it.
5. What has been your biggest struggle with your WIP?
The chapter outline. We've been stuck on it for the longest time—we know a number of plot points, but really fleshing it out and figuring out every little detail has been challenging.
6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!
Yes. Blad.
7. How do your characters get around? (e.g., trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)
We haven't put too much thought into this just yet, but seeing as the novel is dystopian and set in the future, the methods of transport are likely futuristic as well. I'll update once we figure that out.
8. What part of your WIP are you working on rn?
Like I said, the chapter outline. We're struggling.
Aside from that, there are a couple characters we have to finish developing, and a few others whose exact role we've yet to ascertain.
9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your WIP do you think will draw people in?
Betrayal, opposites attract, slow burn romance, reluctant acquaintances to friends to ALMOST LOVERS to enemies, grumpy x sunshine, lovers in denial, love/hate.
10. What are your hopes for your WIP?
Getting it published. And assembling a fandom. Every writer's dream, isn't it?

What haven’t I read more than once? I have 350+ open tabs and yet, here I am, re-reading @loftec’s None The Wiser. AGAIN. Because it makes me happy, and what is fandom about, if not making you happy? Urgh. Don’t. Yikes… Yevgeny. Mandy. Fiona. Everyone else on Shameless who disappeared and then was never spoken of again. Like… what the heck? You don’t need to get the actors back. Just get the other characters to mention them, so I don’t feel like the writers forgot they existed! Also don’t give me Dichen Lichman and then just take her away!!! 😭
What scene or moment do you feel isn’t discussed enough?
Every time Mickey has to say the end of his sentence directly into Ian’s mouth because Ian can’t wait the extra 3 seconds to let him finish, he needs his lips on that boy’s mouth NOW! They’re so precious and horny and I love that for them!

What do you think is next for Ian and Mickey post-finale?
They’ll be deliriously happy forever and ever and nothing bad is ever going to happen to them. It’s terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and we always defeat them and save the day.

These questions will get the best answers out of Khalid Abandonato, from "A Living Machine." He's twelve until the next chapter drops, so that's the energy I'm hitting you with.
1) Do you own any pets?
No. "Animals are a distraction." I "don't have time for a pet." "You'd have to clean the turtle tank, Khalid, wait, it generates too much Paradox to make an entirely self-cleaning aquarium, oh you mean you came up with a design that doesn't require Science well that's a waste of time you should be studying Etheric Chemistry, Khalid."

Reptiles are cool. [pause] They're literally cool. I'd have to print a heat lamp. ... it makes sense why the dorm super won't let me have a turtle. They thought I would use Energetic Physics to negate the cost of the electricity. Adults are dumb. That's what solar power is for. Did you know you can still store solar power even if it's cloudy? A lot of people still think you can't.
2) What is your favorite season, and why?
This answer is going to be foreshadowing, isn't it? I can tell by the way the Storyteller is looking at me.
I… prefer… winter. There's less sunlight, and it's cold, so the other students don't look at me like I have two heads when I say I didn't go outside all day. Nobody's going outside. In the summertime I have to close my blinds a lot more. I like being able to look out the window when I'm working. It's like I'm not alone, seeing other people's lights on. And then when all the lights go out, I stop looking, and it doesn't matter if I'm alone or not.
Yeah, winter's my favorite.
3) Have you committed a crime?
One time I broke into a storage facility. And then I broke into a couple storage units and took a couple things that didn't belong to me. I'm sure I commit little crimes all the time. My department Chair says I think the rules don't apply to me, which isn't true. I'm bound by the same laws of Reality as everyone else. I can't negate Paradox yet.
I do something super illegal when I'm older, but I'm not sure what that is. I don't get to retain temporal orientation unless I'm talking to the Storyteller for some reason.
Oh. Right. They say it's a condition of the Board letting me keep my free will.
Well, I know I break a lot of rules when I'm an adult. That's going to be awesome.

i aspire. it's real hit or miss for me, but i genuinely adore every comment i've ever received even if it goes unanswered.

i guess it would be being batwoman but only because i wrote it as a cliffhanger for the sequel?
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
i generally always aim for happy endings, but in my opinion the 'happiest' is a crisis of indulgence but only because it's layered with angst. all my fluff pieces are happy throughout so the end doesn't hit as intensely (i think).
8. Do you get hate on fics?
only once that i remember: same person on multiple fics. such is life.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
i have tried, but it objectively isn't great so i steer clear of it. this has actually been a conundrum with my latest fic: sauce or no sauce?

i wrote a kate kane + lena luthor one shot once. does that count?

i don't think so

someone asked to translate one into german. not sure if it ever happened.

i haven't but i'd be interested, though i'm usually one of two people: a chaotic procrastinator with fading interest or the most diligent person on the planet. i can't guarantee which would show up for a collaboration.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
there are three:
1. being batwoman | year one - (batwoman) i did so much legitimate comic book research and planning for this that it's a shame i've left it go
2. a handy handful - (arcane) i have 30% of the rest written
3. let's for flying - (supergirl) again, i actually have a lot of it worked out but for one reason or another it's in limbo

like, would i personally do it? no, i don't even have a solid grasp of the english language. why would i go butcher another one?

For the Guardians of Eternity Series:
1. What is the first part of your WIP that you created?
The initial idea was about a magical bear of some sort that would appear and guide people to a magic forest. The story grew from that one idea.
2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?
Instrumental, for sure. I really like Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla, Rings of Power, etc.) and Lorne Balfe (His Dark Materials, Wheel of Time), so I’d be happy with any composer with similar vibes.
3. What are your favorite characters that you made? Why?
My creatures! My cute little guys 💜 I love them so much. But I love each of my MC’s equally—it’s impossible for me to choose. I’d say I have the most fun with Adrin, but my best writing is with Hettie.
4. What other pieces of media do you think your fan base would share?
If you like anything character-driven with found family, magical creatures and fantasy worlds where nothing is ever what it seems, you’ll vibe with me. I’ve taken inspiration from a lot of my fave shows/books, so there’s something for everyone.
5. What has been your biggest struggle with your WIP?
Everything. Tomb of Light is the first novel I have ever attempted to write, and the first time I’ve written fantasy. It’s hard to know when to let loose and when to pull back—which is how I’ve learned that I am an underwriter. Big time.
6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!
Creatures!!! Hell yeah! I made a post here about them.
7. How do your characters get around? (Ex. Trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)
By foot or by horse (except Adrin, who is afraid of horses. He walks everywhere. Like a fool.)
8. What part of your WIP are you working on right now?
I have started outlining and writing the sequel to ToL, The Forest’s Embrace! In addition, I am also working on ToL’s first round of edits (which is very hard without alpha readers).
9. What aspects (tropes, maybe) of your WIP do you think will draw people in?
I have a hero to antagonist arc that is essentially an exploration of grief following trauma and a toxic relationship. That is what I think will help my story stand out from other fantasy stories—the magic is really just an instrument that helps the characters heal. (That is the most boiled down explanation I can give.)
10. What are your hopes for your WIP?
I would love to query ToL by 2025 and have it published within the next few years. For right now, I just want more people to connect with the story and see it for what it can be one day.

WIP Questionnaire

Rules: answer as few or as many as you'd like!
1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?
TSP: Lexi was! TSP started out as a school project, and we had to create a character sheet for our first person narrator! That was "Alexia" who is now just "Lexi" (but her full name is still Alexia).
SOTL: The concept! "School for fairy tale characters" was basically it. I got discouraged a bit when I found out this concept already existed, but that didn't mean I couldn't do my own take!
2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?
My favorite types of intros for TV shows are original theme songs or very catchy instrumental music. 30-60 seconds is a good length. I'd hope that for TSP and SOTL. Hope this isn't a cop-out.
3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?
TSP: My favorite characters to write for are Lexi, Gwen, Akash, Robbie, and Carmen. Lexi because the arc I gave her is an exaggerated version of something that speaks a lot to me. Gwen because I wasn't expecting her to be as interesting as she ended up being planned to be. Robbie and Akash because of how funny and sweet their dynamic is. Yes, I love them separately, but they're a package set. Carmen because she's just so damn interesting I love studying her under a microscope.
SOTL: I am barely into writing it, but it's Jack at the moment. Shocker, he has three chapters while Tierney and Úrsula have one each! But the reason is that he is average at everything, but he doesn't let that get him down! He's funny and relatable and a dork.
4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?
TSP: Hm, good question. The only thing coming to mind right now is Young Justice (the cartoon). Starts out with this fun group of kids, becomes extremely dark. Ensemble cast. Sneaking around. Superpowers. Fight scenes. Drama.
SOTL: Insert fairy tale retelling here.
5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?
TSP: Juggling everything. The world building, I guess. Making all the characters distinct was something I struggled at for a while, but I'm getting much better at it. Trying to figure out how the world works is challenging, but I am having fun. But juggling all the moving parts to make it cohesive is a challenge.
SOTL: What is plot?!! Also battling my ambition to do every fairy tale ever. I'm gonna have to make a lot of background characters that will get their own side stories separate from the main series to get all that I want. I probably will do that.
6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!
TSP: Yep! Alium has a lot of fantasy creatures, animal hybrids, and fun things I just made up. Custos the dragon is the only truly prominent one right now. He's a blue fire dragon and is adorable. I also have kitsunes. Animal hybrids include unibison, ferretsnakes, cowyotes, beaverducks. Things I made up include the elemental foxes and blue hedgehogs.
SOTL: Hofiwi is an anthropomorphic bear! She was cursed to be anthropomorphic, this is not a normal thing in this world. I love her and she's just planned at the moment. Can't wait to do more.
7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)
TSP: Hovercrafts, dragons, teleporting, trains, and some other power-based travel
SOTL: I'm still figuring this out no one has gone anywhere yet. Dragons or carriages would be cool. Maybe I can mix them with something modern to fit the setting.
8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?
TSP: World building! Specifically the power database since that will be the backbone for everything.
SOTL: Reading fairy tales... I need to do that more
9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?
TSP: Powers, diverse cast, queer/disability rep
SOTL: same as TSP but fairy tales!
10. What are your hopes for your wip?
If I see one (1) fanart between either my life will be complete.
