This is another project that I have lost the source of the pattern from sadly, the reason I can't remember or find it was it was through a webpage and not a downloaded pattern and earlier this year I had to get a new laptop, in the process I lost my bookmarks and said pattern was in there. Though with that said, it was less of a pattern and more just a vague "make these general shapes and sew them together", I also modified it somewhat to make it look cleaner and be less fiddly to put together.

It's basically just a little bucket bag with a drawstring and little petal looking flappy bits which make it look like a flower if turned upside down. It's very small, basically fits one cake of yarn in and short dpns, I usually use it for a small hand sewing project but it also works as a portable yarn bowl for center pulling from cakes which has been very useful at my weekly crafting group.

Hc that Andrew buys those jolly rancher hard candies all the time and is constantly sucking on them. Like, it takes him two days to finish a bag, so he buys five bags at a time. He has them in his bags, in his pockets, in Neil's pockets. It's not uncommon to see him pull one out during practice, like, on the court. He'll just loudly unwrap it and plop it in his mouth and tuck the wrapper into his glove or something to dispose of later. Everyone has given up on telling him to stop, despite the clear choking hazard.

so when we first got my kitty Oliver, I gave him a webkinz frog as his first toy and he beat the absolute shit out of it. a few years later, I got him a new one and that one only occasionally gets pummeled. But I found a third one the other day and decided to do a little transplant.

Im taking out the beans in the feet (he popped the bags on the original one so that was a fun mess) and im replacing the beans with catnip bc they (Oliver and Pepper (my other baby)) LOVE catnip so fucking much so I think they'll really enjoy this :)

But I thought I'd share in case anyone was wondering how the beans were set up in webkinz feet.

#contemplating making a bunch of tote bags as basic sewing practice #but the difficulty is that. uh. i think literally every living human has too many tote bags #not a one of god's creatures sits around contemplating how sad it is that they don't have a tote bag available when needed.#tote bags are as grains of sand upon the beach.#box opener #drawstring project bags i think i could actually use like three or four more of #do non-knitters use drawstring bags? not like the backpack kind just regular ones? i've always felt those were also excessively available a #d completely useless.#people are like 'oh it's reusable fancy giftwrap!' but then the recipient has a bag of small to moderate size that only kind of closes. so.

I did SOOOO many chores yesterday and today (why do laundry and dishes never end?), but I'm most proud of my hobby room FINALLY being cleared out. Now I have a place to put my art, makeup, beauty, and sewing stuff.

I still need to figure out a flooring solution bc my desk has wheels and it's hard to move it (I also don't want stuff on the carpet).

today's fish project: so i have two non display breeders now, a 20 and a 10, and I've realized that some amount of scaping just makes everything more enjoyable for me so while I'm keeping the 10 bare bottom for function like isolation, grow out, etc, I'm putting in substrate on the 20 for the purpose of growing plants, and MAYBE it will become a snail only tank, plus blue dream neo shrimp to sell.

and i want it to look little a nice.

then here's the mess of a 10 holding everything lol. since it'll stay bare bottom

got to finally put paint on the walls in the new places bathroom, my knees started giving out at a certain point so i wasn't able to get up the ladder anymore.

Fun side effect was that you can see exactly how tall I am by how high i was able to reach with the brush without the ladder.

#the plastic bag is all the light switches. they arnt fully mounted on the wall yet so they got bagged to keep them tidy #also i do realize this color is Very perry the platypus #and tbh! i Think itll work with the tile/sink/counters that are going in here but i also kinda hate it now that its up.#im going to finish it bc like #i already paid for the paint and wont be able to get a refund probably #ill probably repaint it later tbh.#its a small room and most of everything is going to be covered by the sink and cabinets #so itll be a weekend project once everything is in and i can better pick a color.#Its goong to be a Lot more green and a bit lighter in the future if it doesn't turn out ok

As stated in the image above, a limited run will be be launching at her tabling Perth’s (Aus) Hoshi convention. So if you happen to be going to Hoshi, definitely DEFINITELY hunt down her table.

- The online release will be in late May/early June.

- pricing will be $50USD.

- size: 20 x 20 x 4 cm

- can be worn as a crossbody/shoulder bag, this strap is included. But as you’ll see in one of the above pictures, the back of the bag allows it to be worn on a belt like a bumbag/fanny pack. 💕

This is my current Tiny Emergency Project; if you find yourself out with nothing to do but wait, it's very useful to have a Very Small intricate crochet doily in your bag, waiting patiently to be worked on!

I'm using very very thin yarn (it's actually one of the 4 2-ply yarns that made up a much thicker (but still thin!) shawl yarn, which I liked much better taken apart. (also, don't do that. Separating the plies in 1000-yard balls of yarn is REALLY ANNOYING! But in this case... it was worth it. Probably.)

The pattern is Carlotta, by Grace Fearon; I've been working on it very slowly. I... usually bring other projects with me! ^_^
