A project bag! This bag is about 16” by about 13”, unlined but with fully enclosed seams (idk the name of the technique I used I was just kinda winging it)

My first hand-sewn project bag, with sashiko style quilting to keep the sides upright.
This being my first bag, I made some rookie mistakes. eg: I forgot to hide my raw edges between the exterior and lining fabrics; so inside the bag, you can see raw edges.
But I did make a little pocket for a crochet hook!
Anyway, I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out--especially for my first try! I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed stabbing this a bajillion times.
I'm also very excited to show off this bag: "I made it! It has a pocket! And inside is something else I'm making!" 😄🥰

Wanted to show off some WIPs of a side satchel bag I’m making my partner for christmas. He picked out the fabrics & I’ve added in ripstop to make it somewhat waterproof. I’ve also never made a bag before so I’m stoked at how well this is turning out!

This is another project that I have lost the source of the pattern from sadly, the reason I can't remember or find it was it was through a webpage and not a downloaded pattern and earlier this year I had to get a new laptop, in the process I lost my bookmarks and said pattern was in there. Though with that said, it was less of a pattern and more just a vague "make these general shapes and sew them together", I also modified it somewhat to make it look cleaner and be less fiddly to put together.
It's basically just a little bucket bag with a drawstring and little petal looking flappy bits which make it look like a flower if turned upside down. It's very small, basically fits one cake of yarn in and short dpns, I usually use it for a small hand sewing project but it also works as a portable yarn bowl for center pulling from cakes which has been very useful at my weekly crafting group.

The annual project bag. Do I have enough yet? They’re still awful fun to make.

I didn't do too much crocheting today but I did make this cute little project bag! I don't sew very often and some closer investigation of this little bag will prove my rusty-ness but I like it!
And I did a tiny bit of surface embroidery for giggles 🤭

finally!! This bag has taken forever- I totally underestimated the amount of yarn it would need and had to buy more TWICE 😭 but it's done!! It came out super cute, I'm in love with the colour. I think I'll probably use it to store my finished projects that aren't ready to be gifted yet :0
Pattern: Ruke project bag by Neringa Ruke on ravelry (I made the smaller size)
I actually can't remember where I got the rope handle from it was so long ago 😂 but it's macrame rope!
Yarn: King Cole Big Value Poplar Chunky - Meadow Mist (using only one strand, contrary to the pattern, since it's a chunkier yarn!)

The bartender at my job gave me this crown royal bag and I decided to use it as a small project bag
Yeah, people take me seriously, why do you ask?

"Marta" drawstring bag (pattern by BurgioPatterns) in the smaller size.
Tag on the side reads "Full of Good Ideas" (by Winnipeg Sews).
Most of this bag was painstakingly bussed between home and the downtown library's makerspace (IdeaMILL) so I could use their sewing machines. I eagerly watched YouTube videos on the long bus ride, learning how to thread the machine, adjust stitch length, etc. This was also my first time using fusible interfacing!
Things don't line up perfectly, some topstitching is absent because I forgot about it, and other imperfections... but I love it anyway!

Completed project bags! These came out super cute & I’m planning to make the other sizes using the shramp fabric so I have an adorable set.
